yaaay thankyou! 🥰 Naruto, the Anime is both my favorite and least favorite 😌 I think Death Note is still on top when it comes to genius storytelling tbh. *chefs kiss* Anime sorta ruined the second part though. Not sure if I can pick an all-time favorite and many I haven't finished yet. I do really enjoy JJK, MHA, SNK, KNY, Vinland Saga (OST's!!!), Blue Lock and Haikyuu all for very different reasons. See, I'm not that adventurous here >< (imo things become mainstream for a reason though... 🤷🏻‍♀️) Bleach is definitely an honorable mention, I just stopped watching at some point, but I'd like to pick it up again sometime. They do have the best character designs- just brilliant! Tokyo Revengers I LOVE, but that's not because of the story. It's more in an I-accept-your-flaws-endearingly-kinda way, because I relate to it a lot for some reason and there are some great characters. Chainsaw Man is awesome in many ways, especially the animation holy shit, but the story... doesn't really grab me (yet?). Assassination Classroom had some really good moments, the concept is interesting- great ending too. Death Parade is very enjoyable and definitely one I'd recommend. I remember Tower of God had some great moments ^^!

Yume's glorious masquerade outfit! I had a lot of fun designing this, though it took me time to render! I think Yume would really like this event and dressing up with all their friends, being a silly little clown.

I saw a post saying how Idia's outfit resembled the Commedia dell'Arte Character of the "Dottore" and it inspired me to make a counterpart (or CLOWNterpart lol.) And make Yume's costume based on the Dell'Arte character of "Pedrolino", better known as a Pierrot French clown. The character is one that is normally portrayed as young dreamy naive, personable, charming, and kind, to the point of excess -- he blames himself for wrongs never done and because of his good and trusting nature is often easily tricked.

(And while that isn't exactly Yume I think its what people often assume of them when they see/meet them.)

Is the Fall of the House of Usher a compilation of Poe's stories rather than just the title? (Also I gotta reread stuff now, it's spooky season)

Yeah, kinda! It's a modern take on many of Poe's stories, not in an anthology sort of way, but rather one big narrative that incorporates a lot of the most iconic stories into it, with Roderick Usher being the CEO of a pharmaceutical company, and his children dying one by one. It's very fun to try and catch all the references, big and small, so if you're a Poe fan--and you like Flanagan's work--you're definitely gonna enjoy it!
