Hello everyone! Welcome to the Build a Fic Game✨💗 After careful crafting and consideration (and some much-needed support from y’all), I can finally bring this to the table <3 the instructions are the following:

Instructions:

I’ve created an AU world with rules and layers of its own, completely different to ours (and canon 911). The world’s called A.R.C.A.N.E.3

I will keep this world a secret while we’re playing.

The idea is for y’all to send me prompts here on my tumblr inbox with simple actions or dialogues, including the name of the world. Ex: “For ARCANE, Buck and Eddie fighting over something stupid”, or “ARCANE: ‘Will you stay over tonight?’”

I will make the prompts fit into the world! I’m planning on doing 30 or so, but if I’m inspired I’ll write more obvi ₊˚ෆ

They will be posted directly to ao3 but with its respective summary under the ask w the prompt. I’ll link this post & the previous prompt on each (so I can keep some kind of organization).

On each chapter I’ll add more & more details of the world, and yall will be welcomed to speculate˙ᵕ˙(and also ask prompts according to what is revealed).

Once I’m done I’ll tell you guys everything about it and ya!! (it’ll be like 120k words of fanfic👁️).

Only things I’ll disclose of ARCANE: a) I’ll write chronologically; b) it’s Dystopian Fantasy; c) Buck and Eddie don’t start as a couple, they are besties.

it's been over a whole month since i had a stupid argument with my parents about driving, a skill that i legally possess but hate doing because i have a special brain illness that makes me fear death and injury, but i'm still chewing over an absurd claim that it's "equally dangerous to go on a 14 hour train ride like you just did". literally how is that more dangerous. in what way. in what world. public transport is nice and good and i like it and i don't have to enter my personal torment nexus

New mouse!! God it feels good to actually be able to afford quality computer parts. I guess the next step is uh. Actually getting a new computer. It won't be a complete from-scratch build, I'll be using the same graphics card, storage, memory, and peripherals, but uh. This motherboard is already a backup and my case is falling apart at the seams so like...might as well.

My favourite thing about being a young adult is having Mundane Adult Experiences for the first time. Like for example, a few months ago we bought a new dishwasher and I was genuinely impressed by the performance and some of the practical features. Or sending an invoice to a company's accounting department for my first freelance contract. Is this what small children feel like when they see a movie in the theater or a giraffe at the zoo for the first time? Surely the joy is on par with getting a sick discount on the big bottle of laundry detergent.

Anyways I'm buying a new mattress with my tax return and I'm so fucking hype, I'm gonna pick up some budget-friendly boxed wine tonight to celebrate

Ooaaa thank you! I have a rough first draft of the first episode and a tentative theme song and due date for when I'd want the first episode to be done. Beyond that I'm overthinking it like crazy like production schedules and themes and how would it end and how do the mechanics of xyz work that I'm still struggling trying to figure it out. If it's anywhere close to how I imagine it in my head I hope it will be cool!!
