tumblr annihilated the quality of this so i added a text free image of him so ppl could actually see him! the quality will probably hold up better on my FA lol. i wanted to use a text tool in paint or sai to write all that out but they were either crunchy or just straight up not working for me today

anyway i have had levels boyfriend-adjacent guy in my head for months (almost a year honestly i think) but i only had a fuzzy idea for his design itself in my head and the many attempts i made to just find smth by doodling weren't promising. so while i still think this is a little complex for him (probably kinda overdesigned especially cuz im still so pleased with levels design and her color blocking and she has a great 'looks more complicated than she actually is to draw' design to me) and ill likely mess w it a bit in the future, im happy with where i ended up this time! i have a lot less experience drawing robots than i do just normal furries so figuring out pleasing shapes, lines, and plating for more inorganic stuff isnt rly second nature to me, but i'll get there, and im happy with him for now :-)

one thing i was trying to translate w his design that i couldnt fit on the ref was that since he's level's mechanic and he also does as much of his own servicing as he can, i wanted some of their plating and (minimal) greebling to be similar. zag has some plating styles he likes i think.. i did want their colors to contrast but still look good together :) i had to fight everything in me to not make him just teal. i love you teal. level had enough teal in her design lol. zag got a greener teal for highlights than level's 'beachier' color scheme bcuz i cant resist at least a LITTLE bit

this animatic was mostly because i haven't been able to draw for the past 2 days because of vaccine-related incidents (my arm was so sore.) so!! i needed to get everything out immediately. this took *checks watch* like 4 hours. probably would've taken triple that amount if i tried to color it so.!!

my favorite frame HAS to be frame 6. i have no idea if thats correct perspective but it came out like i wanted to and it looks nice so!! i do Not care!! ^3^

also the backgrounds are half-assed. that is why they are not the vocal point yippee. proportions and features might also change but thats what happens when you make something in not-so-much time

hello securitywaiter nation have you thought about ness being abby’s teacher bc I HAVE

below the cut because i can't shut up ever :D

-abby does well enough in school academically but is still needs some work in the socioemotional dept

-when she starts a new school year mike is a bit worried but then she comes back home absolutely ecstatic and mike is like “okay this is good”

-she talks all about how mr. ness lets her color while he teaches and how mr. ness gave them all name tags w silly drawings (hers is a bear) etc etc

-mike is actually really happy bc most teachers have a hard time understanding abby (heck, he has a hard time understanding her) so he’s looking forward to meeting this mr. ness during back to school night

-it goes on like this for awhile, with abby raving about mr. ness and mike is just happy that his little sister seems to be doing better in school. the first time she comes home talking about these kids she hung out with at recess he practically cries

-back to school night is here and the first time mike sees this mr. ness he’s like abby u traitor you didnt tell me this man was exactly my type (he doesn’t actually tell her bc he never brings up his lovelife around her - not that he’s had much of one - but still isn’t this the type of things siblings know intrinsically)

-anyways they’re having the kids show their guardians around the classroom and their seats and everything and then mr. ness is explaining the way his class works and mike is totally paying attention. yup. he’s not distracted by those chocolate brown eyes at ALL

-so they’re waiting to do the one-on-ones with the teacher and mike crouches down next to abby and tries to be all chill “hey, abs. has mr. ness ever mentioned a partner or anything?” acting all nonchalant

-but abby sees right through him and is immediately like “he’s single! do u want me to put in good word for you?” and mikes like “NO i have no idea what ur talking about haha i just wanted to know bc it’s important to know that about ur teachers okay wait why are you smiling like that”

-(abby’s a little menace and already ships it)

-when it’s finally their turn mike is just chanting to himself “be normal. be normal. be normal” lmao

-but now that he’s sitting face to face with the teacher he notices that he has freckles and every chance he had at playing it cool goes out the window

-ness is telling him all about how well abby is doing in class and if there was anything he could do to make it easier for her in the classroom and abby’s just sitting there looking at mike internally screaming with a smile

-so she turns to her teacher and is like “you should get mike’s number just in case something comes up. he’ll probably think of some things later since he’s been taking care of me alone for awhile” (bc u know when kids do that things where they kinda trauma dump at the most random moments lmao)

-and ness at first refuses and is like “im sure email works just fine!” and abby’s like WHYY is he not just taking the bait and then she has like a lightbulb moment

-bc ness probably assumes like everyone else that mike is a single father and abby’s his daughter and abby’s like oh no how do i make this work

-so she goes full anya mode (for my spy x family watchers) and is like “im sure mike would appreciate having your number on hand! he’s a very protective older brother you see. taking care of his little sister must be hard. i’m sure being a big brother like him is hard so it’d be for his peace of mind. did i mention he’s my older brother”

-and ness also has a little bit of a crush already forming so he doesn’t catch the obvious set up and is instead distracted by the fact that the handsome guy in front of him is in fact NOT a single father so maybe he does have a chance wowow

I decided id stay up & draw the prototype design for my batman forever self insert that ive been cooking up for maybe a week or 2 now. The colors are probably a,little off it's ok (edit like 3 days later i fixed them). Ramblings under the cut mostly cus its 4am and i dont wanna forget my ideas

I went w ocd for her ? bad phrasing. She has ocd (basically the same as mine or at least with the same subtypes& compulsions) and since batman forever revolves around psych stuff and theres already did (twoface and also bruce Im pretty sure??) schizophrenia(?) (chase? i think) + bpd (Edward.) i figured it'd work w/o getting too muddied w everything else or looking like i just slapped a label on her I did name my batman oc caterwaul (well. "kate"erwaul) ok i couldn't think of anything else but i wanted the c.e. initials for samesies also I don't think cain eulogy straight up wouldve worked and i know there's literally an E Nygma but idk. A little too outlandish. Ftr i headcanon edward to be bi (with a preference for men but he isn't all that picky in regards to gender) but im kinda making that a "teehee guys look at my selfship cope" thing here. They probably maybe could've gotten together and lived happy ever after and no riddler and blahblah but cait just never bothered by assumption RIP i'm not sure her feelings would be reciprocated anyawy just in general Some traits i'd give her..i don't really know shes kinda just me but with better socialization. She's pretty friendly overall and probably enjoys going to the company parties and chatting it up w her other coworkers but she also likes to keep to herself at times. she's probably a very private person all things considered. Something like a "you've been friends with this person for years but you don't know a thing about them" sorta deal Also speaking of that i think she would've been employed maybe about a month or two after edward but the time schematics get a little wonky there since actual websites weren't even a thing until 94 and he'd been working there for 2yrs by then so i don't know what she wouldve been working as.. probably just got her job shifted around but stayed in the same department>? If she were in the movie i think she'd just be a supporting character that appears for like 5 minutes after the whole "you were supposed to understand" scene. probably comforting edward or something. Not the scene directly after that where he's fake crying but like a bonus one scrunched between it where they're having a heartfelt moment Or something. You'd only see her the one time though and itd be an uncredited role

i couldn't get quite happy with merji but ehhhh? i think its just not my fav sketch. i dont dislike the design i think i just dont like the way i drew him (mainly his hair it's always his hair lmao)

but anyway i made two au's for all those mermay prompts-- the merji one has no development and its only aesthetic so maybe i'll get ideas after writing some about it. i wanna do some loose coloring for it before i do write any of them but for now this is enough for the first one i wanna write later lol

5. favorite little detail in a drawing you did

this one was kind of hard to answer because i lean so much more to simplification over 1:1 detail... that said, i really loved these ones!

the bag from the top photo is from here, minato nui on left is from some con-related draws, the ballpoint splatling on right is from a vintage draws compilation!

i just really enjoy drawing little objects and props, and as much as i'm allergic to backgrounds, i hope to overcome that next year because my friends know i love getting obsessed over random objects for a few days...

9. any new art mediums youve tried (or overall styles if you havent tried new mediums)

i haven't gotten to do much mediums outside of digital art unfortunately.... but i would say this year was the year of chibification! i turned so many characters into little guys this year (shoutout to the nui tree!). which is really ironic because i also realized this year i find full illustrations more satisfying to work on throughout the process, despite the "simplicity" of chibis.

i did some limited color styles too! (blue, purple, and red + b/w). hopefully i can do more deliberate color palette stuffs though. i think it'd be a great exercise.

stylistically wise i think i could've tried more, but. its ok! thats what 2024 is for. yipee!

She likes that you have multiple hobbies because in the beginning that means you would’ve been a content farm for her, but as she started to care for you saw that you have a limit she made a schedule that worked for her and you so that you were comfortable

She doesn’t mind the physical touch even if it’s not really her love language, but don’t touch when she’s mad or busy! She is sensitive to that kind of thing so just ask first and you’re in the clear!

AND ALSO THANK YOU ABT THE EYES. faces and facial features are something i do my best to make distinct and avoid same face syndrome.. there are aspects of it i still struggle with but i think ive gotten better! i think its mainly that my style is pretty simple so it can be hard to make certain things different without seeming out of place, but i try different stuff.... most recently w the eyes (eyelids specifically) i got a lot of help and input from my awesome good friend on different things to do to depict different shapes and types of eyelids which, which was honestly such a nice thing to do (and the friend in question will probably see this so hiiii <3)

but i also like to have fun with the eyeball lol. like drawing cool+weird shapes inside of the iris and stuff. and using two totally different colors for the iris and the "light reflection" inside it is really fun to me. i think it makes the character seem different... since i have a lot of little guys so i do my best to make them each stand out even if theyre just background characters. figuring out how to design all of them is FUN its just really cool to me and i like it a lot. and i think it helps me improve the more i do it too!

Ok ok the idea you have is that since this AU of Player!reader and stuff is in fashion and I made a complete opposite of the "perfect" player also all fucked up and stuff, not that I'm complaining and saying that "To these fanfics leaves the reader player like an almighty mary sue" no way im gonna use that mary sue shit to call what i like mary sue here and there dick in mary sue ass if you use mary sue to say something is bad you it's fucked up my friend, ok getting back to the point.

My concept for the Imperfect Player:

-The Player is called God in the world of Nevada but a newbie God since when the player played MPN he developed some of his powers playing the classic and two, it took a long time to get used to the second but you managed and managed get used to things.

-The Player may notice some fourth wall breaks but he ignores them and finds these dialogues amusing, but there are greater beings who are watching him without him knowing. The Employers are watching behind the laptop screen a little God ventured into the world of Nevada they are curious what this being calling human can do with their vessels or rather with Hank, Stygian saying they are cute but they won't survive even a second in Nevada without a vessel to protect them, Deliberator says they need to practice their powers more because even their S3lf is out of control when they use too much of their power, Conductor agrees with Deliberator and Auditor doesn't say anything just watches the Player's reactions, he studied about the Player's species and also in his personal life, the Player had a family since their mother would come in the room to talk a little with them or call them for something and his/her sister/brothers visited their rooms to bother them or annoys them a little which makes the Player annoyed with them, he still studies a little about them but one day they will belong to his plans soon enough.

-You often played with Sanford when Hank was away, you liked him and 2Bdamned more than Deimos and Hank because you think they were very "darling" by the fandom so you liked the underrated or less loved by some even you have a circle of friends who have the same ideas as you, and a fun fact Deimos is finding his partner too tough in battles maybe it's his impression I don't know.

-Yes, we have an invisible glowing line but only the receptacle sees eled and his friends can't see it because the Player didn't use them, so Deimos listens to Sanford saying that seeing glowing strings is almost invisible and his self-esteem and mood are always high, even which Deimos says his buddy is excited and in a good mood.

-It didn't take long for Hank to overhear some conversations between the two of them about the ropes and Sanford's humor he wasn't completely interested so he went out and called everyone to get ready for the event in three days before the events of MPN 2, you finished your routine and decided to save the game and rest since tomorrow is the time to study for your college finals, oh and you laugh at the fourth wall breaking messages that Phobos insults you are not threats of anything to you and you lived the ignoring las and be happy moving on like a normal person, lying in bed with the lights off you yawn and sleep to enter the world of dreams.

Powers (in the world of Nevada): Sensing enemies approaching, when crying, releasing a barrier circles throwing everyone out, shield when raising the forearm creates a strong and resistant shield even the binary sword and any sword does not cause any effect to the shield, ropes from the vessels, healing hair when placed near a wound heals the vessel and sword of light (still doesn't know how to summon it) and when outside of Nevada the Player can feel his vessels calling him or something strange happening in the world.

Also the fanfic will have themes that are not friendly to others so it won't be a thousand flowers like some writings but there will be fluff moments and stuff, I feel like we need more dark content from Madness and any questions my ask box is always open for some questions.
