Lots of good vibes for Pip please. Her tummy is still getting bigger. She does not seem uncomfortable, and is in fact currently begging me for breakfast, but I don't like to see this increase. I'm suspicious this is actually a result of her very low protein diet, as she's having no other symptoms of liver distress. We all need some protein to build albumin, and albumin is what keeps your fluid inside your blood vessels. Low albumin means leaky vessels means ascites. There are some other liver formulations out there with slightly higher protein, so we might climb the scale. The main goal of low protein is to avoid neurological symptoms, and we haven't had any of those, so it should be safe to try. Nutrition consult tomorrow and I hope they're ready for the freight train.

Worst case, I may bip my little self on over to their ER and get some diuretics for her. The timing is very poor since we are traveling for Boofest, but at least we are going to be in an area with a lot of specialty services.

Most of all, she seems in good spirits and is not having any trouble breathing. Let's hope this is temporary and won't require long term medication to manage. I want to preserve her kidneys as much as we can.

I've been getting so many asks about how i feel about it and why i dont like it. So im just gonna answer all those questions with this. First of all- i dont hate it i just dislike it. And its cause its overrated and doesnt make any sense to me, and people in the TomTord community can be really toxic.

It overrated:

Its literally the most popular ship in the fandom. Everytime i try to see a ship that isnt tomtord like lets say I want to look at the TomEdd hashtag. I see a good amount of posts that are TomTord in THE TOMEDD HASHTAG- in every ship hashtag. I get tired of seeing it all the time and i kinda have fases how i feel about it. Like for a while ill be fine with it but after seeing it non stop for days i get so sick of it. Like it'll start making me angry and ill despise it for a bit and then go back to being okay with it and it'll just be an endless loop. And people try to say "Oh (insert ship) is as overrated as TomTord." But im sorry no its not- it is mostly likely not. And i have facts to back it up.

On Instagram i searched all the ship tags i could think of that involve the main 4, if i missed one im sorry. If you look at the post number its all about over 5000, and its safe to say that about a 1/3 of those posts have nothing to do with that ship. And its most likely another ship

You can see that one of the top posts for some of the tags is a TomTord related post- now lets look at the TomTord hashtag

Hm, theres a VERY big difference here. Look at the post difference- if anything all those other ships are underrated compared tomtord. And thats just the facts:/

It doesn't make any sense to me:

Tom and Tord literally hate eachother- and before legacy they were rivals. Like i dont get it at all. Its different when people make aus that dont use the storyline. Like @//skimson for example, she changed so much of the story so the relationship can work. they never hated eachother in her au. It makes sense. But when people use the same storyline from the show and try to argue "oh maybe they secretly had a crush on eachother." No, okay no that's not the case at all- that doesn't make any sense to me, but thats just me. Im not trying to hate on peoples headcanons but when they claim it like its a fact it bothers me.

I AM A HUMAN BEING- Not your fucking art machine, i will not draw anything that makes me uncomfortable and i have a right as a human being to be able to say no without being harassed. By doing this you realize that, im gonna dislike it more right? Harassing me is not gonna make me like it. It will make me hate it and i don't want that. And it makes the nice people who ship TomTord look bad, there are respectful and nice people in that community and those toxic people make them look like bad people when they're not! It makes them feel ashamed and they don't deserve that, literally one of my best friends ships TomTord and she gets sm shit about shipping it because of those people. It is not fair to anyone when you act like that. So please stop.

Okay im done. Those are my reasons why i dont ship it. No hate to anyone who does, you like what you like and you have a right to your opinion, and i have a right to mine. I just want everyone to get along and be respectful towards others. But i know thats not gonna happen. So why even try- but im still gonna cause im no quitter when it comes to that. Nik’s full name is Nikolas Isaac Arwaine

Nikolas means ‘victory of the people’ Isaac means ‘laughter’ and Arwaine, I took the Celtic god of the dead Arwan and added a few letters :)

It was chosen bec when i orginally was writing him, he was inspired by Nikolai Lant/sov in Grisha.

Nik had,,, an interesting childhood. HIs father wasn’t,,, outwardly abusive, perse. But he did lock his kids in places to get out (he broke nates hand bec nate wouldnt stop drawing). His mom taught him how to lie and his parents gave him whatever he wanted besides the one thing he Really wanted

He has fond memories of Adrien and his ohter brothers taking him to the ocean. He had fond memories of hanging out with Nate in Nates studio. One of his fave memories is Nate putting face paint on his face when he was a lil birb

A bad memory he has is getting so afraid of not being able to get out of a room, he threw himself into a panic attack and he was shaking and crying so hard that his dad was so damn disappointed in him that he didnt talk to Nik for a Long Time

so honestly i dont even know where to start.. like my mood swings are getting bad again. Almost every little thing is upsetting me. then yesterday my friend really really messed me up when she got mad at me and snapped at me bc i didnt text her back because i was busy..

like how are you going to get mad at me bc i was busy ?? i get that you were having a bad day but dont snap at me bc i didnt answer you right away. And to make matters worse the day before she messaged me and told me to call her so i picked up the phone and called her and when she answered the first thing she said was “babe its not a request, i said when you have a chance call me” and i told her that i was off and had the chance right then and there, but the very next day i dont answer her text for two hours and shes snapping at me?? excuse me?? i am NOT at your beck and call.. i have a life of my own. Shocking i know but i have one and it doesnt revolve around fucking bts and you. I want to spend time with my family, especially since i rarely ever see my mom bc she works nights and i work days. I hardly see my sister and her friend bc they stay up all night and sleep all day bc they cant find work right now, so when im leaving for work theyre sleeping and when i come home theyre awake but i gotta go to bed bc im tired and i actually had the chance to do something with them, so how the hell are you going to get mad bc i didnt answer you back??? first of all, you already paid for the last 2 bts movies we saw, and heres the thing, my sister said that with the first bts movie it was a waste for her bc she already saw every clip in the movie except 2. Advice

Hello friends! i hope its okay that im asking for some advice. this may be a long post, so im sorry. 

I am fat. my best friend, who we can call A, used to be fat. we have been best friends basically forever and we are now in our mid- to late-20s. a little over 5 years ago A start having some health problems, and started eating more nutritious food and exercising to try to combat them. she ended up getting into nutrition and fitness and lost a lot of weight. we both used to be small fats, now she is in single digit sizes and im over a size 20. she is one of the sweetest people i know, and she is not fatphobic or anything. 

anyway. after A lost the weight, i have always had trouble getting over the jealousy that i feel. a couple years ago she met a great guy, who is everything i would want in a partner too, and they are getting married. A has a huge ring and the guy treats her like a queen. she asked me to be her maid of honor and i said yes but now im regretting it. i am the biggest girl in the bridal party and im just jealous because i feel like she is the one getting married to this great guy because shes thin. he makes jokes about how her going to the gym all the time ‘works out’ for him too

for her bachelorette party a couple weeks ago we went to the beach for the weekend. we went bar hopping the first night and she kept getting approached by all the hot guys at the bar (she doesnt wear her ring when going out at night and stuff because it is so big it draws attention and higher chance of violence or robbery). she just rejected the guys anyway obviously. the next day we went out to the beach and hung out and she got hit on again. i asked if maybe she could wear something less 'hot’ when we went out that night so maybe i could get more attention. she kind of looked confused and she said it was her bachelorette party and she dressed in a way where she felt good, and if a guy isnt going to give me attention anyway he isnt worth it, blah blah blah. i got mad and ended up not going out that night. on top of that, she made a joke the next morning to a different bridesmaid about how if she kept eating like this she would not fit into her dress since shes had her last fitting already. it just hurt my feelings 

her wedding is in a little over 2 weeks and i honestly dont want to be in it anymore. im tired of being the fat friend to her thin girl. i told another friend of ours how i was feeling and she said im being selfish so i dont know what to do. 

any advice would be great. im sorry for this being so long. also sorry i had to use a throwaway but she follows my main.

If you can, pretend that these two emotions are separate people from you that you can sit with at a table. Ask them/yourself:  

Would you say the things you said if she was the size she was 5 years ago? 

How would you feel if the tables have turned and A said those things about you? 

Are you able to put your jealousy to the side and be truly supportive? And, if not, what can you do so you can get your head in the game?  

I’ve read your ask a few times and  I noticed a couple of things that you've brought up.

For Starters, You’ve admitted that you’re jealous and uncomfortable with your body -- a double combination when it comes to being happy for your friend. Internalized Fatphobia is a bitch.

It sounds to me that because of her new size as well as the size of the other people participating in the wedding, you’re feeling out of sorts, despite that A does not see you any different.

Despite A’s change in body  and her new relationship she still cares for you and wants you as her friend. She’s not fatphobic towards you and despite the smaller company she keeps she doesn't push you to join the thinner herd . That’s the true inclusion and respect we wish everyone gave fat people. She knows you shine in your size and cherishes  you as you.

A’s right, too-- the shallow attention for your body is not ideal for long term relationships. It’s hella annoying and disrespectful to be hit on just because of your body rather than you as a person.  Someone like you deserves to  get the right attention -- which wouldn't matter what you wear or how big you are. You’re great as you are and you dont need other people’s validation. Your beauty is there. And even if you dont see it, its time to work on accepting who you are.

For you to ask A to change outfits because she’s getting more attention than you  is not fair to her. For you to not be there on a big celebration night for her just because your self-esteem is not cool. That’s her body -- she can wear what she pleases! 

Your jealousy is keeping you from being 100% there for A.  Would you really want to bow out on your best friend?
