#in fact it's his friend Thena he talks about???

For the Thenamesh Proposal AU
Both of them have to sleep in the same bed to keep up their fake engagement.👀
Of course there was only one bed.
His mom thought they were together, after all, why would she give them a room with separate beds? Gil had offered to let Thena have the bed and he would sleep on the floor (or something). She had told him that was stupid and that they could share a bed without being weird about it.
But he did feel weird about it.
Maybe weird wasn't the right word. But he felt a little nervous. They were friends, of course, that wasn't the issue. He told Thena he hadn't slept with many women and then turned bright red from the slip-up. She had laughed more heartily than he had ever seen in their years of working together.
She said it wasn't a big deal. It was a queen sized bed and they could put a few of the extra, decorative pillows in between them just for safety's sake. It would be just fine.
Gil woke up with Thena curled right up against him. He stared up at the ceiling, hoping he was wrong about it, but Thena was tucked right into him, face on his chest, arms folded in against his ribs like a bird's wings.
He got the impression that Thena wasn't that sound a sleeper, but she was practically drooling right now. He moved as slightly as he could to look at her, but the angle just wasn't conducive for it. He tried to nudge her gently; he didn't think she would take too kindly to discovering herself in such a position.
She groaned at him, only moving closer. He never knew she had trouble getting up in the morning (that was kind of cute).
"Thena," he whispered, trying to reach for his phone on the nightstand.
"Hm," she groused again, pressing her face into his t-shirt and inhaling.
Usually, he slept shirtless, but it hadn't felt right with Thena right next to him.
He chuckled at the behaviour very unlike the Goddess of War. He shimmied in the bed so he could at least look at her. "Wakey-wakey."
She growled at him this time, but he took that as a sign that she was awake.
"Rise and Shine," he prompted again, now just enjoying annoying her.
"No," she grumbled, not at all freaked out by their proximity. If anything, she didn't even move away from him at all. She moved her head just enough to blink her bleary eyes at him.
"Hey," he smiled. It was possible she looked even more beautiful than normal when she had just woken up.
"Hey," she replied just as softly, even in her current mood. She blinked, "what time is it?"
"Sun's up, which means my whole family's probably already on a run or something."
"Family of maniacs," Thena bemoaned, trying to turn her eyes away from the sun again. "It's far too early for you to be waking me up like this."
"Well, I'm sorry to interrupt your beauty sleep," he snorted, to which she slapped his arm. "But I have things to do for my mother, since this family reunion that's happening is now also our wedding?"
"Right, yes, the big day," Thena mumbled, obviously not listening to him.
"Okay, okay," he sighed. It was easy to give in when she looked all soft and cozy and kittenish. "I'll tell them you're sleeping in."
"Tell them anything you want," she yawned and burrowed right into his spot as he started shimmying out of the bed. "And that I will see them later."
"Got it." Gil stood and stretched, ruffled his hair and tugged at his shirt. He had to get a start on breakfast even before he started prepping the many, many items he would cook for their 'wedding day'. He looked back.
Thena really did look like an angel. He knew she was pretty - it was pretty impossible not to - but that was far from his favourite thing about her. But at times like this, it was really hard to ignore (let alone resist).
"Hm?" she opened her eyes, having felt him staring at her.
He knelt down with a smile, leaning on the edge of the bed, "nothing. Just...admiring my fiance."
Thena rolled over, refusing to give him the satisfaction of an answer.
He laughed, though; that was just like her. He stood again, brushing his hand over her hair as he left to get dressed in the attached bathroom they would be sharing as well. "You go back to sleep. I'll call you when I'm done breakfast."
"My phone is on silent."
"Then I'll come up here and hand deliver it myself!"

gwyn x balthazar | 2,7k words | warnings: none | masterlist
"Balthazar!"
The young Illyrian turns on his heels, hearing someone —a female— shout his name. His alarm bells are immediately on high alert, his gaze searching for any imminent danger. But there is none, only Emerie heading for him. She seems a bit out of breath, a thin film of sweat coating her face.
"Balthazar," she breathes out when she reaches him, bending slightly at the waist when she sucks in another breath. She exhales loudly, brings a hand up, brushes it over her forehead and then straightens up. "You are going to Velaris?"
He looks puzzled for a moment, wondering how she knows about it. And it's almost like the Valkyrie can read his thoughts. She chuckles softly, saying, "Do you think Gwyn keeps secrets from us?" Her eyes twinkle in the morning light as the sun rises over the Illyrian mountains.
He smirks, but inside, Balthazar feels incredibly happy, his heart doing around twenty leaps. Gwyn told her friends about him and that she invited him!
"So, you are?" Emerie bounces on her toes, a smug smile on her lips.
"I am, yes." He nods, unfolding his wings and spreading them wide behind his back. "I’m about to leave."
Emerie inhales deeply. "Is there a chance…that you can take me with you? You know…I…I—" "Of course," Balthazar quickly says, her pain somehow still so prominent.
She does not have to articulate what had been done to her by her own family. Balthazar knows about it, he won't make her talk about it if it is not necessary.
"Also, apologies. Do I have to address you as…Lord Balthazar now?" Tipping his head back, the young Illyrian chuckles loudly and when he straightens his posture, he shakes his head. "Please, don't. I am Balthazar to you, and will forever be."
Emerie smiles in return. She watches him closely, wondering when exactly he turned from a little, scared boy, into this strong, powerful and charming young male with the sparkling eyes and a smile that makes many females' heart melt. He turned into a male that will become the best camp lord Windhaven has ever seen, Emerie is sure of that.
When they were little her and Balthazar sometimes played together, not often but occasionally. Behind the laundry house, in the mud. She can still vividly recall how he would use wooden sticks to demonstrate various fighting techniques. It left her both confused and surprised — his willingness to teach her fighting skills. He was a male, younger back then, but still a male, and yet wanted to teach a female how to fight?
Nevertheless, she embraced these small lessons with him and to this day remembers what he taught her. Some days, in fact, most days, she couldn't help envy Thena for having a brother like Balthazar – a genuinely good male in her life.
Emerie shakes her head and with it the thoughts and memories vanish. She smiles at the young Illyrian who already has his hand extended, waiting for her to grab it.
She hesitantly reaches for him, moving closer to allow him to pick her up.
Balthazar does, as softly and gently as possible, lifting her into his strong arms. He holds her securely, not too tightly or close to his body, but enough to make her feel safe and at ease. "Ready?" he asks in a soft tone.
"Ready," Emerie whispers, the hurt about never being able to fly herself making her throat constrict. She has come to terms with it, has accepted her fate, but that does not mean it does not hurt anymore. It will hurt forever, the scars it left on her heart never vanishing.
Windhaven is only waking up when they start their ascent. The air is cool and crisp, a light breeze blowing over their skins and through their hair. Balthazar's large wings beat steadily behind his broad shoulders and slowly they move higher into the sky, above the tree tops.
"I think I've never asked," Emerie says and searches his gaze, "but how are you feeling after…after your father's death?"
Her own father, Proteus, died in the war with Hybern. And he died alongside Balthazar's father. They both lost their father that day and while Emerie was more relieved than in any way sad about it, she doesn't know how Balthazar dealt with it. Or  is dealing with it.
"I am not particularly sad about his passing," Balthazar says, matter-of-factly. A muscle ticks in his jaw, his gaze trained upon the trees in front of him. Emerie can see that some emotion passes over his face — not grief, but hurt.
He guides them a little higher and draws in a deep inhale. "He…he was an abusive asshole. He hurt us, he hurt my mother, my sister. He hurt me. And I am glad he is gone." Rage simmers beneath Balthazar's skin almost like talking about what has happened evoked some whirlwind of anger to start brewing inside of him. But he does not let it break free, clamps down on it.
Yet, his eyes have turned teary, so have Emerie's and she wiggles an arm free, grabbing Balthazar's upper arm. "I know exactly what you mean." She opens up and starts to talk, telling him about her own father, about what he had done, how he had treated them. The words pour out of her, and she shares everything, knowing everything is safe with him. Her future camp lord.
Balthazar adds some of his own memories to her stories and slowly they realise that their childhoods have been quite similar in many ways. They lived a few huts apart from each other, but experienced the same exact things while growing up.
"I know with you being camp lord, nothing like this will ever happen again."
"No, it won't. When become camp lord, I will never let something like this happen again. No female will ever be treated like that again." It seems like this hope about changing the future, gives him so confidence, some trust and belief in himself that he can actually do it.
Emerie smiles through the tears. She gazes up at him, and her smile turns brighter. He will be the best camp lord Windhaven has ever seen. She can't wait for the day when it is official.  And additionally, she also knows that this young male will be the greatest companion for Gwyn. Emerie couldn't have hoped for anyone better for her best friend than him.
"Do you trust me, Emerie?" Balthazar asks, his tone a little bit lighter now. His voice is still raspy, dried tears visible on his cheeks. It is something Emerie appreciates about him. He's not afraid to show his emotions, even in front of a female, which demonstrates his inner strength and confidence in his masculinity.
"I do…" she whispers, her voice a little uncertain concerning what is about to come. And she is really not at all prepared for what is about to come.
Within the blink of an eye, Balthazar shifts her in his arms, his hands sliding under her armpits where he holds her – rather holds her out in front of it, her legs or rather whole body dangling in the air.
Emerie shrieks a gust of wind brushing her exposed limbs. “Oh Gods!” she squeals, but then takes in the scenery that is provided to her - finally seeing it from a whole different perspective.
"Spread your arms, Emerie," Balthazar tells her and so she does.
"I will never be able to understand your pain, but maybe I can give you a little taste of what flying feels like. Let your feet dangle, spread your arms and most importantly…" His voice trails off, as they gain speed. "Close your eyes. You are safe with me, you have nothing to fear."
And so Emerie does as she is told, her lids closing, the wind softly stroking over her face, over her entire body and she feels…free. Weightless. Alive.
A happy squeak leaves her, her heart bleeding but slowly healing. Tears stream down her cheeks, tasting salty in her mouth. But they are no sad tears, they are happy tears, full of joy and love.
•─────⋅☾ ☽⋅─────•
"Are you alright?" Nesta's voice is filled with concern, probably having noticed both their puffy eyes, her hand immediately reaching out to grab Emerie's. She pulls Emerie to her.
"Never been better!" The Valkyrie grins, her gaze moving to Balthazar and then back to her best friend. "He showed me how to fly. He let me fly. Can you believe that? I…I almost flew fully on my own."
Nesta's eyes widen, her gaze ping-ponging between Balthazar who smiles politely, and her best friend, who has glossy, swollen eyes but beams at her.
"That is…I am so happy for you." Nesta embraces her best friend in a tight hug, and when she does so, her gaze meets Balthazar's.
Her eyes, full of gratitude and admiration, convey more than words could speak in this very moment.
Balthazar's heart warms. And he knows it has been the right decision to accept the position of camp lord. If this sort of happiness is possible through such a small gesture, he knows he can do a lot more. Change many things for the better. He wants to do great things. He wants to have this sort of happiness all throughout Windhaven. Even outside the borders of the war camp.
"We should go find our places now, the service is about to start." Nesta steps away, and both of them nod. "Mor is inside already." They have met in something like a big Library, that Balthazar still finds himself marvelling at. He has never seen such large and towering shelves, filled with thousands of books. It is impressive and stunning, but it also makes him wonder why Gwyn would live here. Why in this place? It does not seem like an ordinary dormitory, rather like a…sanctuary of sorts.
At the mention of Morrigan Emerie's body goes a little rigid and a small smile tugs at the corner of her lips. "How lovely," she expresses, strolling forward. "What are we waiting for?"
Balthazar's eyes widen in silent admiration, pupils dilating with wonder, as he takes in the service hall. The service hall is rather small, but nevertheless beautiful - like a hidden gem beneath the House of Wind. The walls of the hall are adorned with mosaic and immediately capture Balthazar’s attention, just like the benches and he knows they have all been meticulously crafted by talented hands. The ceiling seems clear and bright, creating a beautiful atmosphere inside that seems both enchanting and inviting.
Balthazar’s gaze moves around, to the group of priestesses at the very front, and his lips part.
Gwyn, wearing her beautiful pale blue robes, her long copper hair cascading down her back, immediately captures him. She is glowing and their eyes meet. Her smile, shy and heart-melting, is something Balthazar wants to remember forever. There is so much joy in her expression, so much hope and bliss.  Never has anyone ever looked at him like that, and he wants to treasure this moment forever.
His heart flutters in response, and a warmth spreads through his chest, making him grin even brighter. Nesta next to him stifles a laugh, but Balthazar barely notices it.
Gwyn raises her hand in a delicate wave. And he returns it, folding his wings in so tightly that he can squeeze in between the benches.
When the service starts, the priestesses start to sing, and Balthazar knows that he has never ever before heard anything so beautiful, so mellifluous, it bewitches his heart.
Balthazar's whole focus is on Gwyn, his eyes and ears wide open in wonder and admiration. She is enchanting, there is absolutely no doubt about it, and his heart starts to beat faster, skipping one or the other beat. Her voice is the most beautiful thing he has ever heard and he has known this from the very first time he heard her sing on the rooftop. It is both enchanting and captures its heart like ribbons of silk curl around it. He is taken back to the moment on the rooftop where he shared his nightmares with her, and they truly talked for the first time. And he knew it back then…he was going to fall in love with this breathtaking female.
He is falling in love with her. This is what falling in love feels like. She has enchanted his heart, captured it, and he knows it already belongs to her.
Balthazar's lips part in silent wonder, so much happiness filling his entire being at the realisation of this. He is in love, and that for the very first time in his life. And this feeling —Cauldron and Mother— is absolutely amazing.
He is so caught up in his thoughts, in the happiness he is feeling in this moment, he doesn't even notice that the service has come to an end. He, half-dreaming, follows Nesta, Emerie and Lady Morrigan outside of the hall, almost like walking on clouds, not paying any attention to their conversation only thinking about Gwyn.
But suddenly, Emerie snaps her fingers in front of his face, fetching him back to reality. They have stopped in a place that looks like a huge library.
"So?" she asks, eyes sparkling mischievously, a wicked grin on her lips. "Are you able to answer, my dear camp lord, or is your mind still with…Gwyn's beautiful voice?"
Heat and most definitely colour fill Balthazar's cheeks and he opens his mouth, but no words come out. He tries to glower, but has to chuckle and gives his head a shake. "Females…" he breathes.
"Hey! Be careful, youngling, or those females will whip your camp lord ass." Amused warning flashes brightly in Morrigan's eyes and Balthazar has to laugh again, the sound rich and low.
"Apologies. Emerie, what did you want to ask?" His cheeks still feel hot, his palms a little clammy.
"If you want to go home immediately, or if it is alright if we stay a little longer?" Her voice sounds hopeful, and when Balthazar wants to tell her that he would love to stay, Gwyn beats him to it.
"I think he wants to stay little longer." Her soft voice wraps around him, dancing over his skin, and a moment later Gwyn appears in his vision, slinging her arm through Nesta's and his breath catches in his throat, heart hammering against his rib cage. Stunning…the only word to describe her in this moment.
"Did you like the service?" Gwyn asks and smiles.
“It was wonderful,” Nesta says. “Just like every service. There is always something different about it, but it every time it is touching and beautiful.” The Valkyrie is beaming at her best friend and also Emerie compliments the service.
As they talk a little about the songs they sung during the service, it becomes clear that Mor and Emerie would love to spend some time together. Alone. The stolen glances and shy smiles speak volumes.
Emerie and Balthazar agree they will head back to Windhaven shortly before the sun starts to set and so her and Mor leave, their soft giggles reveberating through the corridors of the Library until they are out of earshot.
“I will apologise myself as well, looking for my mate. I haven’t seen him all day,” Nesta says and turns to look at Gwyn, waiting for her to give her the signal that it is alright to leave her alone with Balthazar.
Gwyn bows her head with a sheepish but grateful smile on her lips. (Her and Nesta had arranged that Nesta would check in with her if it is alright to leave her alone with Balthazar, should he want to stay a little longer).
Alone, now only her and Balthazar in the corridor outside the service hall, they take a moment to simply look at each other and revel in the peaceful silence. “I would like to show you my room,” then Gwyn eventually says after a moment. “You showed me your wood crafting space, I would also like to show you where I love to spend my time." Gwyn smiles up at him, eyes hopeful, her heart beating a little faster.

Druig x Hecate!Eternal Reader (AKA Kaetlyn) Headcanons Part 1
Tumblr media
Note: Hecate!Eternal’s name is Kaetlyn (it’s still a Reader x Druig au, but it’s just easier for me to give her a name). Her powers are that of manipulating shadows and darkness. For the sake of easier writing, Kaetlyn is ENFP and Druig is INTJ. The MBTIs of the characters don’t really matter that much, but they do help me out when figuring out scenes and writing headcanons. Also, these headcanons are really Part 1 of many.
Also, because these are Druig x Reader headcanons, the reader will be referred as “You”.
In the simplest of terms, your two’s ship dynamic is very… cool & stoic on the outside, but soft on the inside (Druig) x Chaotic Dumbass Sunshine who hides their crippling anxiety (You)
You are clingy…like VERYYYYY clingy
But Druig LIVES for the fact that you love his attention so much, and genuinely thinks that you are the most adorable creature in the whole f*cking universe
Druig is constantly pissed off at everyone on the team except the following: You, Makkari, Sephia, and Thena (he drinks his respect women juice every damn day without fail)
Phastos and Gilgamesh are cool, but Gilgamesh is low-key kind of hyper for him (so are you, but at least you have the excuse of being the light of his life); also, he mostly just teases Phastos for his inventions
He also gets along with Sersi, but he low-key thinks she’s too much of a follower with how well she gets along with Ikaris and reveres Ajak
He assumed the same of you when you all first arrived on Earth, given how you and Kingo were pretty close to one another (very chaotic sibling-like antics)
But then he saw you throw a sandal at Ikaris’ face when he commented that you were too “menacing” to wear any of the human clothing gifted to you from the village women for all the childbirths you aided (leaving a VERY red imprint that resulted in a broken nose with how hard you threw it)
And then you basically converted your room at the Domo into a secret laboratory to sneak in all the Deviants you killed to study their anatomy & physiology, and just slept in Sephia’s room – all without Ajak’s permission!
You got in a HUGE amount of trouble, but you were stubborn in your belief that the deviants had to have shared some common anatomical features to target; and by studying them, this information would make killing them so much easier
It pissed Ikaris so much when Ajak ended up approving of your research (lol, what a loser), and it made you sooooo happy
To say he was intrigued – and little turned on – from that point on was a severe understatement
You, on the other hand, were fond of Druig pretty much from the beginning you laid eyes on him
Despite your stubbornness and hyperactive attitude, you were extremely observant and intuitive of those around you (you had to be, you were literally a shadow assassin), so when your gut told you that there was more than meets the eye when it came to someone – you listened
And you were not disappointed when it came to Druig
You adored how he wasn’t super showy in his kindness and affection towards humans, and you could see in the huge amount of love he had for them in his eyes
You would always try to make conversation with him, and try to get to know him so that you two could at least be friends
So, when HE was the first to approach you for conversation, you were over the moon – and it didn’t help how hypnotic you found his blue eyes to be, along with how soft his voice would get in teasing you, not to mention how soft his lips looked whenever he talked!
Makkari and Sephia both knew about your crush, and they (mostly Makkari) loved to tease you over it (but they were your #1 shippers); so did Kingo, but he thought something was wrong with you (your shadow slapped his head for that)
Druig was skeptical at first, and rebuffed your multiple attempts to befriend him – until Makkari literally smacked his head at learning this, and told him how nice you were and you honestly admired him
He decided to make amends to you by approaching you first for once – only to be sucker punched in the gut at your earnest warmth and affection towards him, and all those guarded walls came crashing down
He was NOT prepared to experience so much wholesomeness in someone who was LITERALLY the master of shadows and darkness, and he was even LESS prepared to discover how introspective you actually were compared to how you present yourself to others
He starts noticing things about you that just make him feel so warm and fuzzy, and it’s freaking him out; like how you will always have your arms open for those who civilization called “monsters” and “cursed”; always treating their wounds, making them laugh with your shadows, hiding them from real monsters (their abusers), etc.
When he asked you why you preferred their company, you explained to him that you knew what it was like to be judged by everyone around you – even going into detail of how insecure you were of your powers because some people (Ikaris & Sprite) liked to call you a monster
You then went on to tell him that you always seemed so happy and bubbly as a way for others not to see you as an enemy – and that you were so grateful for friends like Sephia and Makkari because they didn’t use your powers as an excuse to avoid you, and openly accepted you as a friend
You also go into detail that you didn’t like to use your powers that much, because you didn’t want to be seen as someone who takes pleasure in controlling others; that’s why you wanted to learn how to make medicine, so that you would be seen as helpful and not like a monster
Druig was blown away by how similar the two of you actually were to one another – he used his aloofness as a way to rebuff the others’ assumptions, while you used a mask of sunshine and happiness to avoid being excluded, but the two of you both understood the fear of rejection
And when he learned that you intended to use your skills in studying anatomy & physiology to hopefully study humans to help them (especially the women who go through childbirth and diseases) develop medicines and healing practices with Sephia (who you convinced to develop medicinal herbs and fruits)
You fell first, but he fell FAR HARDER
But you two wouldn’t get together for a couple of centuries because the two of you are convinced that the other is too good for someone like them, and so the mutual pining would continue for AGES (driving Makkari absolutely INSANE because her OTP is not getting together, like whyyyyyyy?????)
Makkari and Sersi totally have ranting sessions about how their dumbass friends aren’t getting together like they want them to
Also, your room is both a secret zoo and a mad surgeon’s laboratory
When it comes to animals (especially magical and strange ones), you have ZERO self-control, and Druig only encourages it
You found a newborn Doberman puppy with a little white spot on his belly so you named him Cerberus (Cerby for short), and when you were learning magic under Agamotto, your magic went a tiny bit haywire so then the baby pup got three heads instead of one
He typically only is shown with one head, but when he gets REALLY MAD, he will grow HUGE and with the 3 heads
Cerby’s favorites (after you) are the following: Druig, Sephia, Makkari, Thena, and Gilgamesh (bc Cerby will always be baby to them); but he gets along with everyone
Except Ikaris because he doesn’t like how the blue man is mean to his magic shadow mommy
Druig questions everything, and you want to know EVERYTHING…so naturally you are perfect for one another and NO ONE is surprised when the two of you finally get together
As always, please remain respectful and kind! If you liked these headcanons, please like/comment/reblog for more!

So it’s been a week since I’ve posted my Khonshu/Marc/Steven x Eternal!Reader idea (seen here), and my mind has been wandering, crafting scenarios surrounding this idea. And I thought, why not share? Especially since a lot of people seem to like this idea.
I would like to note once again that these ideas are free for anyone to write about, I’m not planning on writing anything about this (at the moment at least), so if anyone wants to write a Moon Knight fanfic involving an Eternal!Reader, go ahead! I highly encourage it!
Moving on to my additional thoughts:
So after the reader reveals herself to Marc/Steven (how does Jake factor into this I’m just realizing?) after the deviant attack, and when she reveals her purpose for being on Earth and her past relationship with Khonshu, how would the Moon boys react?
I’d imagine they’d both be angry, Marc more so than Steven (at least in my mind). They’d question whether or not their relationship with the reader was genuine, or if they were just being used as a means to see Khonshu? And there’s the fact that she isn’t from Earth, and that she’s a being more than 7,000 years old sent by some cosmic power to protect humanity and helped shape the history of the planet, while at the same time not interfering with the atrocities committed by humans. So I’d imagine they’d be quite angry with the reader. She of course tries to explain this to them, but a fight breaks out (the Moon boys aren’t as understanding as Dane), and harsh words are thrown at the reader (by Marc, Steven is mostly quiet).
And then she has to go.
“Marc, Steven, I need to take care of this.”
Marc laughs humorlessly. “Of course you do.”
“Marc-” she sighs.
“No, you know what? Go. Take care of your ‘mission’, or whatever the hell it is that you were sent here to do, and leave.”
“……I’ll let you know when I’m done.”
“No, do both me and Steven a favor and never talk to us again.”
So the reader goes with Sersi, Sprite, and Ikaris to find the others. And as they progress along, she calls them when she can (they never pick up the phone) and leaves messages telling them about her journey.
“Hey, just landed in the States. We’re headed to Ajak’s place, I’ll call you when we get to her house.”
“Hey, um, so we got to Ajak’s. She……got attacked by a deviant and is…………Anyway, we’re flying back out again, probably going to find Kingo. Let me know if you get this, we’re in the middle of nowhere in South Dakota, so I wouldn’t be surprised if I’m not getting any service.”
“So, I’m realizing that you’re both probably ignoring me. Which is totally fair, believe me. I should’ve told you guys the truth from the start, and I regret not doing that. But regardless, I’m going to keep sending you updates. Though you’re most likely not going to listen to them anyway. We’re heading to Australia to get Gilgamesh and Thena. I’ll be sure to update you on our progress soon…….I miss you, both of you.”
“Hey, sorry I haven’t called in a bit, things have been…..hectic. A lot of bombshells have been dropped and things just got much more complicated. I don’t want to bore you with the details, I’ll uh….tell you both all about it when I come back. Hey uh, when’s the last time you called you’re dad?”
“Screw the theatrics, I don’t even know if you’re even going to get this. We’re in the middle of the god damn Amazon, because Druig thought it would be a grand fucking idea to place his cult here of all places. He’s a stubborn bastard, but if we’re gonna pull this off we need him. I meant it earlier when I said you should talk to your dad, you uh, never know when he’ll kick the bucket, so to speak. I miss you guys, I wish I could talk-”
“We were attacked by deviants, Gilgamesh is dead……..he died protecting Thena. I’ve lost two of my family members in the span of a few days, and my friend is giving me the silent treatment. Are we even friends anymore? I know you said not to talk to you guys again, but frankly, I don’t know what I would do without you two.”
“……..I think this might be the last time I call you. I get it, I’ll stop contacting you. I just……I guess I was hoping that we could put this behind us and move on. But that’s obviously not gonna happen, is it? And frankly, I don’t blame you guys for ignoring me, you both have every right to hate and despise me. Just……yeah. Have a good life you two.”
“I know I said you wouldn’t hear from me ever again, but I just have to say this before the world is inevitably blown apart by a newborn celestial. I love you both, so so much. I just wish I got to tell you that in person, and not over the phone when I’m heading towards a live volcano to put a celestial to sleep. Regardless, I just wanted to let you two know. I’ll see you when this is all over, that is if you even want to see me. And if we don’t fail, and Ikaris doesn’t kill us. I probably should’ve mentioned that previously-”
It’s past 5am when I’m writing this, and I’m shit at writing dialogue (especially about feelings), but I just wanted to get this out before I fell asleep. If some of what I’ve described isn’t coherent, let me know, and I’ll discuss it further in length when I’ve gotten some shuteye 😂
I also wanted to add this kicker. I’d imagine it’s when Marc/Steven try to call the reader after (finally) hearing all the messages she left (it only took until they saw the Celestial emerge from the ocean on tv to hear them), only to get hit with this when they try to call her.
“We’re sorry, you have reached a number that is disconnected or that is no longer in service…..”
So…..do with that as you will 😈
Once again, anyone is free to write anything regarding what I’ve given out. As long as I get a shoutout, I’m content with anyone taking what I’ve said and writing their own story.

Gift for my sister @sparkyblizz
[As a Blackmadhi shipper, I aggressively support Blackbright.]
28th of May, 2029, 12:49 P.M.
"Hey Simon?"
said the 19 year old defense attorney. They were in the late Dr. Cykes's laboratory working on fixing Ponco because somebody used the poor robot as a slave. We all know who that somebody is.
"What is the matter, Cykes-Dono?"
"I... don't really remember how Detective Fulbright was but you seemed kinda sad about the fact that he is dead after the retrial of UR-1."
"I assume you want me to remind you of who he was?"
"Yes."
The samurai that was gonna say his farewells to his 20s answered:
"He was... a very nice person, to start off and he was also a good detective and a great father.."
"A great what?"
the defense attorney jumped a little as she said that. They were still working on fixing Ponco, I mean SHE was still working on fixing Ponco. He was more focused on talking about the late detective.
"You heard me, he had an adopted daughter that was just 10 years younger than him."
"JUST 10 years?!"
"It's not a lot considering the fact that he was her foster father."
"What's the girl's name?"
"Trixie. I've met her and she was fairly nice."
The defense attorney smirked a little.
"Wh-what is that smirk on your face?!"
"Simon, I don't think you've realised this but you're talking casually and not in a fancy way like you usually do."
"I-"
he was a little embarrassed as he realised this. He never talks casually, it's because samurais are required to speak in a fancy way.
"And why do you feel some sort of calmness when talking about the late Detective Fulbright specifically?"
asked the defense attorney, she put the tools on the ground and looked at Simon
"It's because he was a detective and a good friend of mine-"
before he could finish that sentence, she said:
"Simon, I know you're lying. You were in love with the man, weren't you?"
His face went as red as a tomato. Athena hadn't seen him become THAT red in 10 years.
"It's been 10 years ever since you became this red. And if my memory serves, you were talking to Mama Aura about Detective Fulbright."
He looked at the floor and clenched his fists. Athena detected some sort of worry and sadness in his heart, she asked:
"Simon? Is everything okay?"
"I just... it was a shame that he lost his life to that's spy."
"So you are sad because he died and he was a detective?"
"Precisely."
Athena's facial expression changed from neutral to worrying and she couldn't properly see Simon's face but she knew that he was sad about the whole thing.
"This is a different type of sadness.. it is as if he was really close to you and this sadness that you're feeling is as if you had some feelings for him."
"I..."
She saw a few quiet tears rolling down his face and she called out:
"Simon? Are you okay?"
"Everything that you have spoke... it is all true..."
She stood up and she walked up to him, hugged him as he was still sitting on the floor.
"It's okay, Simon. He's in a better place now."
"I know... I know... he is better off there."
Suddenly, Athena's phone rang and she let go of Simon and checked her phone.
"It's Junie."
"Heya Junie!"
"Hi 'Thena!"
She blushed a little and was really happy to talk to her girlfriend, she then started talking to Junie.
"GET BACK HERE, CYKES-DONO!"
"NO!"
He got up and said:
"COME BACK AND FIX PONCO!"
"Sorry Junie, I'll be back in a bit."
and then she put her hand on the phone and said:
"Ponco is your problem now!"
And she ran away, Simon started chasing her and they ran across the entire space center as Athena was talking to Junie on the phone.
"JUNIE, HELP, HE'S GONNA KILL ME!"

Under The Moon Light | Druig - College!au
masterlist
pairing: Druig × f!reader
summary: you are Sersi's roommate and you have a thing for the new Irish boy.
content warnings: none for this one! just pure fluff and dorkiness
part 2 w/smut here (minors DNI!)
word count: 1.2k
*y/f/s = your favourite subject
(not my gif)
Tumblr media
"God! You guys are disgusting" you let out on a playful bitter tone. You were having lunch on campus with your friends, sitting beside Sersi, – who were to busy texting Ikaris – while Kingo sat on the opposite corner of the table, beside the couple, Thena and Gilgamesh, who were stuck on their own world when they were, in fact, right in front of you.
"Can you guys at least take a second to talk to us?" Now Sersi's attention was drawn to you, she looked into your eyes while laying her phone on the lunch table. "Leave them be, y/n. You're just bitter because you can't be like them with the new boy." She smirks at you. Bitch. Druig, was the boy in question, the Irish that transferred to your school. As much as you wanted to deny it, you did feel attracted to him. A lot, for a matter of fact.
"Yet" you let out to Sersi.
"What?" She answers.
"I can't be like that with him, yet." You say confidently.
"C'mon, you weren't able to exchange two words with him before seeming like you would pass out."
"He intimidates me." You whisper coyly.
"You were literally just trying to ask him if you could borrow a pen."
"Yes. And that was the scariest moment I've ever been through."
"Scarier than when we had to watch Kingo's movies?"
"Well, maybe the second scariest." both of you giggle before hearing a "Hey!" that came from a very offended Kingo who threw the first thing he could get on his plate on you. "Don't talk about my movies like that. They're art."
"Whatever, movie star" you mock. "Are you coming to the library with us?" You ask your friend as you and Sersi get up of the table, taking a piece of pasta out of your hair that Kingo shot at you previously.
"To do what?" He asks.
"What do you think we're doing in the library, dork?" You say
"I don't know, sleep?"
"We're studying, dingus" Sersi says the obvious
"No thanks." He replies with a disgust expression.
"You know you're on college right?"
"I do, in fact, but in a short time I won't need it anymore"
"If you say so" you cut the conversation short, now turning and waving goodbye at him, Thena and Gilgamesh, although you were almost sure the last two didn't even notice you were there in the first place.
You walk down the hall with your arms crossed to Sersi's talking about the new show you two are watching together on your way to the library. Right on the opposite side of the hall you see him. Sersi nudges you provokingly while you loose your words just at the sight of him. For fuck sakes he is so handsome.
He was wearing a leather jacket and a full black outfit looking stunning as always. Before you could tell your friend to walk the other way he was already walking towards the both of you. Don't panick. "Hello m'ladies" you hear his accent speak heavenly. "Hi" Sersi answers with a polite smile as all you could do was thinking how pretty he was. Is that even legal? Look at his eyes.
"Are you heading to the library?" He asks. All you do is nod in response. Not being exactly on the condition to form a full sentence at the sight of him on the leather jacket.
"Can I come with?" Whaaa- "If it's not a bother, of course" he completes after realising your shock expression.
"No, no, no, it won't be a bother at all, we're glad someone else is joining, actually" Sersi says "Right, y/n?"
"Sure, yeah" was all you could verbalise. That fucking jacket is going to be the death of me.
...
Now with the three of you walking side by side. You freeze in place by the sudden feeling of his hands on your hair locks. Again reading your expressions with ease he's quick on explaining "There was a little pasta on it" he smiles. Fuck you, Kingo. You think.
"Oh, thank you." you give him a genuine smile while silently reminding yourself to kill your friend when you see him. "That was Kingo, one of our friends. He didn't want to come with us. Says he's to busy being a movie star to have time for college." you laugh and continue " We were mocking him about it and the bastard threw his food at us" you say on a playful tone and giggle thinking about your friend. He was an absolute idiot but you loved him with all your heart. Druig laughs along.
"At least it was his food." He says, still smiling.
"Yeah, well, I guess there's a good part in it after all." You follow him, smiling too.
"Have you been friends for long?" He points at Sersi, who was now walking a little ahead the both of you. You knew she did that on purpose and made a head reminder to thank her later for it.
"Yep." you answer with emphasis on the p "We've been roommates for 4 years now, I guess, but we know eachother since our childhood."
"Wow. That's a lot" he laughs again. What a cute laugh.
"It is" you smile. "How about you? Did you come here before or are you getting to know the place 'cause of college?" you were genuinely surprise on how you were, somehow being able to keep up the conversation with him"
"Oh, no, I have family in the country. They actually..."
Before he could continue. You bumped on your friend's back when she suddenly stopped and you were to busy looking at Druig's pretty face to see her.
"Shit." you mumble
"We're here" she can't hold a laugh knowing exactly who was the reason of your distraction.
...
You three spent the afternoon studying y/f/s* together. Every time you could feel Druig's gaze on you it made you shiver. As you were getting to tired of studying, the three of you left your books opened at the table but your attention at the reading was long gone, keeping up a fun and light conversation. You talked about everything. And you loved the way Druig was looking at you when you spoke, it was magical.
As the night fell, the blue eyed boy offered to walk the two of you to your dorm. What a gentleman. Sersi made a terrible excuse involving Ikaris to go the other way and leave you two alone. It worked, obviously, so now you two were walking together under the moon light. At some point of the walk your hands intertwined and he looked at you coyly smiling. You could've swear you melted.
He told you about his family in Ireland. About how he missed them. You watched as his eyes shone brightly and you fell for him even more. When you stopped in your dorm room's door. You looked up at him smiling. Felt butterflies on your stomach when he cupped your face with his soft hands.
And kissed you.

Time Tells - Chapter 3
Peter Parker x Eternals! Reader
Synopsis - After living decades of loneliness, you finally found a family, someone to love. But what will happen when the Deviants reappear, and you discover that your purpose wasn’t what you thought.
I watched the eternals and had a burst of inspiration.

Normal Masterlist🧚🏻‍♀️

"Let's go." Ikaris looked at you with his usual piercing glance which you still hated after 3 000 years of being away.
"I can't go now-" You looked behind you to see Peter who was standing there, confused out of his mind. "I have to tell them I'm going at least."
"They know you're an eternal?" you sensed the disbelief in Ikaris's voice
"Yes." Your confidence annoyed every bit of him.
"Y/n do you understand the dangers-"
"No, Ikaris." You put your foot down. "I probably don't understand, and I'm ok with that." Your tone was enough to make him want to break every building in New York with his eyes. "Now. You will meet me in two hours at the Avengers compound upstate." You grumbled before turning to face Thena and Kingo.
"I'll see you in 2" You nodded before leaving them without another word.
"Hey who are they?" Peter frowned when you didn't stop walking and he had to catch up with you. "Hey Y/n/n-" He started taking longer strides to try and catch up - damm you were a fast walker. "Y/n, what happened?"
"Nothing." You sighed to try and release the anger from your conversation with Ikaris. "Can you call Happy and tell him we're waiting at the Starbucks. I-" You sighed and realized how rude you were being to Peter. "Sorry- I-"
"Hey it's ok." He placed a hand on your shoulder, using the other one to fish his phone and dial Happy's number. "You can tell me later."
~
A Starbucks later and you were in the car heading to the Avengers compound.
"Now Y/n/n can we talk about the fact that you looked like you wanted to break every single thing in existence after you talked to these mysterious people?" Peter wondered before taking another sip of his milkshake.
You chuckled at his sentence, and Peter smiled with you. You had seemed to ease up in the last few minutes and it warmed his heart so see you that way.
"They're the Eternals."
Peter choked out his milkshake.
"THE CAR PETER, THE CAR!" Happy screamed from the front which made you giggled.
"I'm sure you can pay for a cleaner, Happy." You chuckled as you grabbed a napkin and started cleaning the drink off Peter.
"They're the Eternals?" He brought his eyes back to you. "What did they want?" His voice got small, as if he was scared they were going to steal you away from him.
You bit your lip before answering. "They want to get the group back together." You handed him a weak smile. "Because of the Deviants." You saw Peter slowly stiffen at your words.
"And..?" He didn't dare voice the rest of his sentence.
"I agreed. They're meeting me at the compound in two hours." Peter took your hand and gripped it with everything in him. "Peter it's going to be ok."
"But- But the last time the deviants weren't fought for-"
"Peter" You chuckled at his sudden panic. "Peter I'm not going to leave you for thousands of years." You squeezed his hand back and placed the other on his cheek "I'm going to come back once I know what's going on, ok? I'll be back before you know it. I'll help my friends fight them, and then I'll come back to you - and Bruce can make me human."
"Ok" He nodded. "I trust you." He swallowed.
~
Too early for your taste, you found yourself facing The Eternals.
You felt ptsd from the civil war in Berlin as you found yourself in a line with the rest of the Avengers, standing face to face with... also in a line - the Eternals.
You suddenly felt uncomfortable as for a few seconds, you felt your old friends stare at your new family almost with disgust. The tension built up before you finally cleared your throat.
"Alright." You nodded. "I'm ready." You turned around to face the Avengers. "I'll see you in a few weeks max."
"Be careful." Tony came to hug you. "That guy with the good hair and the silver streak doesn't seem nice." He whispered in your hear which made you chuckle.
"You're not totally wrong."
You said goodbye to the rest of the team, dreading the moment where you had to say goodbye to Peter.
The second you felt his arms around you you made yourself remember everything about him. His warmth, the way your bodies hugged together like two pieces of a puzzle, the smell of his perfume mixed with the faint new car smell of his spidey suit.
"Come back to me" He sighed into your arms.
"I promise I will Peter." You nodded into his arms, blinking the tears away. You pressed a kiss to his cheek before moving away, his hand still holding yours until you were too far.
And just like that, you were gone.
Back with the Eternals.
~
"So what's the deal?" You wiped a tear from your cheek as you snuggled a little bit more into the fancy leather seat of Kingo's private jet. You brought your stare back to the group - everyone had morbid looks on their faces and the plane was so quiet it almost made you a little angry. "If your depressed faces are about the fact that I'm an avenger-"
"Ajak's dead" Sprite blurted and you thought your heart was going to stop beating.
"What?" You whispered in disbelief. "I- how-"
"A deviant" you were blind to the way Ikaris's back straightened up. "We found her dead in front of her house" Sirse continued and you stayed quiet, unable to form a proper sentence.
You tried to remember the last time you saw her.
It was the year you met Peter.
Autumn had sent it's chill down the streets of New York. You snuggled a little more into your jacket as you made your way down to the coffee shop you loved so much.
Entering it, you let the sound of the door bell fill your ears. The comforting sound bringing a bit of warmth back to you. You smiled as you made your way to the counter, and double checked the menu as you wondered if you were going to take something new for once or your usual order.
Settling on your usual order, you took the warm drink with a smile and turned around to scan if there were any free seats. To your surprise your eyes fell on the one person you never thought you'd see here, in this coffee shop.
It was Ajak.
She was looking right to you, with her piercing glance. Hands wrapped around a cup of coffee, a plate that use to host a chocolate cake resting next to it. You froze for a second, you hadn't seen her in years.
You knew she wanted something from you. The way her stare was directed at you, and the way the seat in front of her was screaming for you to sit on.
Her face softened and offered you a small smile. You took a nervous breath before walking to her, taking your coat off and sitting.
"Ajak."
"It's been a while." She smiled before taking a sip of her drink.
"Yeah-" You caught your breath - terrified she was going to scold you for everything you'd done.
"I hear you're quite the hero now." She smiled and you found yourself nodding. "You thought I wouldn't recognize my Temis? Hunt is a cute name though. It seems to suit you." All words were stripped from you. "You seem to have found your place in the human world."
"I- Look Ajak, before you say anything. I want you to know that-"
"That you're happy helping humans." It wasn't a question, more of a calm statement. Her tone even took you by surprise.
"Y-Yeah. I love doing it- and I-"
"I don't want your justification, Y/n" Her eyes were smiling as she spoke and the use of your new name warmed your heart. "I came here to tell you that you shouldn't worry."
"Sorry?"
"I think it's good what you're doing."
"But-"
"I know I've said things. But I see what you do. I came here to make sure you didn't feel guilty. All the others have found happiness in their lives - you deserve it too." To your surprise - she didn't mention Arishem.
You couldn't seem to speak - only nod with a smile as you felt a weight fall down your shoulder.
"Y/n?" Kingo's voice brought you back.
"Y-Yeah um sorry." You wiped a tear that had seem to fall again before shacking your head to bring your stare back to Kingo. "How are the others?" You changed the subject.
"We're going to get them. Next step - Phastos then Druig then Makkari." Kingo opened a pack of chips and shared one with you and Sprite.
Sirse looked at Ikaris and then back to you.
"There's more to it." She cleared her throat before starting to explain.
The more she talked the more you couldn't hear what she was saying.
Your purpose here, waiting for Arishem to give you a signal to leave back to Olympia, the deviants.
Everything that you have ever believed in was a lie.
You weren't here to fight the deviants, you were here to kill them so they wouldn't kill humans. You were taking care of a giant chicken coop, cultivating humans so the celestial had enough to eat. You were a robot, a killing machine designed to kill beasts.
You didn't have a heart. You didn't have organs or cells.
Even if Humanity survived, Bruce could never turn you human.
"Y/n, say something." Kingo frowned when her saw the shock on your face.
Suddenly you felt a hand on your shoulder, which you recognized as Thena's.
"Hey, beastie" yes this is a Maleficent reference She murmured and your body started shacking under the mass of information that you had just received. "Y/n, get yourself together" she squeezed your shoulder.
"Humans made you weak." Ikaris mumbled as he turned around to open the mini fridge. Your wrist closed in anger, almost making your knuckles white.
This time your body had stopped shaking.
"Weak?" You opened your eyes to face him. He looked completely unfazed as he chewed on some candy "Weak?" You stood up and walked towards him, the rest of the group not bothering to stop you as they watched the scene unravel. "You think I'm weak?" you felt a bitter taste in your mouth. "I think you should look in the mirror before you call me weak. You think you're so strong? The 'new leader' when it's not even you Ajak named leader now that she's gone! You think you're so strong? You feel like you're better than all of us just because you can fly and shoot lasers out of your eyes? Well, take a second to look at yourself!" You never felt so confident. "What have you been doing for 3 000 years? Nothing. At least I've been using my powers for good. You've been sitting around mourning the fact that you left Sirse for Arishem knows why! You've been so full of yourself that you've done nothing with your life! Everyone else has. Sirse is a teacher, Gilgamesh is keeping Thena safe, Kingo is making great movies-" You saw the look on Ikaris's face and knew more then ever that you were right. "You've done nothing with your life and now you expect me to take life lessons and orders from you? I don't think so-" You shook your head. "I'm not the weak one here Ikaris."
He wanted to bark back for Sirse placed a hand on his shoulder to stop him.
"She's got a point" Gilgamesh mumbled.
"You want me to blow this plane up?" Ikaris growled and the poor man sunk in his seat.
~
The next thing you knew you were standing in font of a white picket fence house - just like the one Mysterio had shown you back in Berlin.
You wanted to hate Phastos for it. He had found a life. He was happy, he was married, he had a family. You almost wanted to cry at the sight.
He had everything you ever dreamed of having.
"What are you doing here?" You watched as he approached the three of you. He looked at Sirse and then to Ikaris, his eyes softening when he met yours.
"Is that how you greet your favorite?" You snickered, doing your best to smile as he closed you in a hug.
"Of course not, I just saw Ikaris's stupid face first." He whispered, and you felt a giggle fall from your lips.
Minutes later and you were all standing around his dining table.
"I'll understand Phastos." You looked at him and saw Ikaris's eyes stare at you so intently you thought he was going to blow you up. "If- if you don't want to come with us. You have my support." No matter how much it pained the others, you understood what he was feeling.
The pain of having to leave his family, all that to make a come back as a super hero - for a cause you weren't even sure of winning.
"Why aren't you trying to convince me like the others?" He smirked which made you crack a smile.
"I understand where you're coming from." You nodded and that's all Phastos needed as an answer.
But he ended up agreeing.
All the group was now missing was Druig and Makkari.
The next day you found yourself heading towards a jungle.
"You should be happy" Ikaris grumbled as you walked out of cab and started walking towards the vast jungle in front of you.
"And why should I be happy, Ikaris?" His name felt bitter in your mouth.
"Because we're going to see Druig. Weren't you two a thing at some point?" The mere thought wanted to make you throw up.
"No- Where the heck did you get that?" You looked at him - you could never date Druig.
"Well, the two of you were always hanging out and joking around" Sirse replied, not wanting to see another fight between you and Ikaris.
"Well, no. He's like a brother to me." No matter how much you got along with Thena and Kingo, Druig was the only one who truly understood your principals.
That with one single action you had the power to help humans. You both wanted to use your powers for good.
You looked around and chuckled to yourself as you realized they were completely blind to him and Makkari.
You smiled at the thought of seeing him again. For a few seconds you seemed to be forgetting the pain of not even being human, of having a different purpose, of this planet potentially dying. It seemed to be slipping away from your thoughts as you remembered your time with Druig and Makkari before you eventually took different paths.
"Who was that boy? That day we came to get you?" Thena asked after moments of silently walking in the jungle.
"Oh Peter?" Your cheeks turned a little red. "He's my boyfriend." You smiled.
"He's quite handsome" she noticed.
"He is, isn't he?" You smiled as you remembered his face.
You didn't realize how much you missed him in the two days you had been away.
"You two make a cute couple." She bumped your shoulder. "Shame he's a mortal." You knew she didn't mean to hurt you by saying that, but the mere thought stung.
"Yeah."
"He looks better than any of your other boyfriends." She side eyed you. "Better than that Achilles guy you use to date back in Ancient Greece. Didn't want to break your heart but he was definitely gay."
"He was indeed." You winced at the memory. "There's a book that came out that's actually pretty good and made me realize he was indeed dating that Patroclus guy after and probably at the same time as me"
"Oh are you talking about Song of Achilles?" Kingo chimed in and wrapped his arms around you and Thena's shoulders. "I cried like a baby after reading that. I also laughed because I remember you telling us he was the love of your life. Sorry bestie."
"You were better off with that Paris guy after."
"That Paris guy ended up cheating on me, if I remind you. He dumped me the second he found someone better."
"Yeah with that Helen." Kingo remembered. "Which ended up causing a war, the war that killed Achilles."
"Eyes in front Kingo." you warned as you were all walking straight for a big tree branch.
The rest of the walk was weirdly fun. Even though you held sadness in the pit of your stomach from the bomb they had dropped you on the plane, catching up with your friends was heart warming.
Before you knew it, you had crossed the forest and arrived in a small village. It looked a little too quiet, but you tried to shake that thought off.
Suddenly a door opened, and you spotted your old friend.
"Druig!"

Forget-Me-Not
Word count: 3638 Pairing: Thena x Human!Reader Warning: Eternals' spoilers. Angst. Summary: You met Thena's in a farmer's market. She's not exactly who you think she is. But she doesn't know who she is either. A/N: -
You met Thena at a farmer’s market in your town.
You watched her as she organized the pots of jelly on the disposed of the table. There was a man with her and he was handing her pot by pot and instructing her how to put it. You can see that she’s skilled with her hands as she puts them carefully, and beautifully organized.
You weren’t sure if the man was her husband or something. You saw that he was kind and compassionate with her, instructing her patiently and helping her when she needed it. He’s attention, you notice, and if he really was her husband, he seemed to be a lovely man. You decided to wait and see as you walked around, checking the other tents, but unable to keep your gaze away for much longer.
The man talked happily to the customers. He took care of the money as the woman always put the products in the paper bag and handed it to them with a smile. You weren’t sure of how to approach her. Yes, she looks beautiful, but she’s always serious. It scares you that she might be arrogant with you, even though she seems really polite with the customers.
You approach her tent, checking the pot of jellies there.
“Good afternoon, lady,” the man nods, an amusing smile splattered on his face. “We have the best jellies you can find in town,” he announces.
“I see. They look really good. Do you have a place in town?”
“No. We usually sell orders from neighbors and a couple of bakeries. I can give you our phone number, and you can place an order whenever you want them,” the man slides a card on the table. You mumble thanks with a smile.
“Would you have grape jelly?” You ask as you look at the flavors on the pots and you can’t find it. “It’s my favorite.”
The man shuffles around, clearly looking for something, then he sighs out loud, smiling at you.
“It seems we ran out of it here, but I have a full box inside the car, I’ll get them,” he looks back. “Thena, could you--?” He gestures in your direction. The blonde understands, standing up and coming close to the table as the man leaves.
“Thena,” you click your tongue. “That’s a pretty name,” you comment.
“Thank you,” Thena tilts her head, watching you curiously.
You switch the weight from one leg to another, suddenly uncomfortable with her piercing gaze. You reached for a blueberry jelly, reading the label on it trying to look uninterested, but you could feel her gaze still on you. Your face heats up. How were you admiring her a few minutes ago and now you’re the shy one?
You look up, displaying a shy smile.
“Do I have something on my face?” You joke, giggling and rubbing your cheek to disguise your embarrassment.
“No,” Thena shakes her head. “You just look pretty.”
Somehow, the compliment makes you blush even more. You never know how to accept a compliment. What are you supposed to do after thanking the person? Should you compliment them back? What should you say? You bite the inside of your cheek, stopping yourself from overthinking.
“Thank you,” you tuck a lock of hair behind you. “You look good, too.” Seriously y/n? You have to keep the will of rolling your eyes as you have an inner conversation with your brain.
Thena's smiles widened.
“Do you like the blueberry one?” She asks, pointing to the jelly in your hands.
“I-I do. I’ll take the cherry one for my mom, too,” you point. Then, you look back at the crowd. You wished to be here, you wanted to talk to her, then why are you hesitating. “Your husband is taking a long time.” You say, trying to sound careless, but at the same time wanting to know more about this mysterious woman.
“Gilgamesh is not my husband,” she frowns. “He’s a friend from home.”
“Oh,” you let out, enjoying this fact. “Are you new in town, then?”
“Sort of. I’ve been here a long time ago, so everything is different. But as Ajak always says, it’s humanity transcending,” Thena replies. You think it’s poetic the way she talks about it. You love it. You’ve always loved poetry.
“You’re right. So, where are you from?”
Thena frowns as if she’s unsure of what she's supposed to answer. Her lips narrow as she thinks about your simple question. Then, a hand touches your shoulder, startling you. It’s just the man carrying a basket full of grape jelly in it. He hands one at you. You smile.
“Thank you,” you say. “I’ll take the cherry and blueberry one as well,” you point at where you left them on the table. “Thena was saying you are not from here. So where are you from?” You ask Gilgamesh as Thena organizes the pots you bought in a bag.
“We’re from Olympia,” Gilgamesh grins.
“Oh, that’s in Washington, right?” You ask, you vaguely remember it from a TV Show.
“That’s right!” Gilgamesh nods excitedly, landing his hands on the table.
Thena hands you the bag as you look for the cash, paying it to the man in front of you. You thank her with a smile.
“Since you both are not from here, do you need a guide in town? I came back just a few weeks ago from college, and I’m at my mom’s. I’ll be visiting some places to find a nice place to myself,” you explain. “It’s a lovely city. I can show you around,” you offer.
“We thank--”
“I’d love that,” Thena cuts the man off.
You tilt your hair, watching as they look at each other, some silent conversation going on between them. Then, Gilgamesh sighs, looking back at you.
“This sounds nice. We--we’d love that.”
“Cool. So, tomorrow is good?” They nod. “Okay, uh. You know the park downtown?” Another nod. “Four o’clock sounds good?” They nod again. “That’s it, then. Thank you,” you lift the bag of jellies in your arm. “See you tomorrow, I guess.”
They bid you farewell as you walk away. You couldn’t help but jump excitedly as you reached the corner. You get to see Thena again. Tomorrow! You weren’t sure if you could sleep from all the excitement building inside of you.
***
You waited excitedly next to a bench from where you could see them coming. Gilgamesh was saying something to Thena, but the blonde, tall woman didn’t seem to mind, though he looked very adamant. They approach you.
“Hi,” you wave a hand, smiling awkwardly as you switch the weight from your leg. “You look gorgeous,” you say to Thena. Her beige dress with gold details in it really looked like something from another world.
“Thank you,” Thena nods, curving her head gracefully. She looked like a ballerina with her graceful gestures.
“Hi, uh, Gilgamesh, right?” You tilt your head to greet the man. He waves his hand in your direction. “Where do you want to go first?” You smile.
They let you lead the way, so you take them to your favorite stores in town, pointing once in a while somewhere and telling them a memory from when you were a kid. The park is downtown, so it’s easy to walk anywhere from there. Thena actually laughs when you tell them that you swallow sand when you rode down the slide once. Gilgamesh stood far behind, and you weren’t sure if he was finding it boring or because he wanted to give you some space. You could see that he cares for Thena as a sister.
Then, you take them to the truck where they sell homemade ice cream. It tastes amazing. It reminds you of childhood, and you ask Gilgamesh and Thena what they were like when they were kids, but they somehow skipped the subject. Thena frowned and said she couldn’t remember it. A pity, you found, because she would be the smart, blondie girl wearing pigtails in class. Gilgamesh said he had a hard childhood, and that was it. You decided that the man was only reserved. Anyway, you told Thena she could show some pictures later, and she only nodded.
By the end of the day, you take them to a store of plants’ seeds and flowers. It seems the perfect balance of your day because Gilgamesh’s smile widens and he looks like a kid who just got the perfect gift. He’s surely over the moon and he quickly goes to talk to a salesman.
You turn to Thena.
“Do you enjoy gardening?”
“I like watching Gilgamesh gardening,” Thena shrugs, walking the hallway as she sees the flowers on display. She touches a petal of an orchid and avoids a thorn from a rose. She stops nearby a beautiful vase wrapped in a yellow ribbon filled with tiny blue blooms. “They are so pretty,” she comments, taking a tiny flower as she analyzes it.
Your eyes light up.
“So what do you enjoy doing?” You ask as she watches the same flower, but now in purple hues.
“I like fighting,” she frowns as if she was confused for a moment. For a second, you see her eyes acquire a brief shade of grey before she blinks and steps back. “Where’s Gilgamesh?”
“He’s inside--”
Thena storms in the direction you were pointing, and you find out fast that she’s faster than you, even moving gracefully. A crease of worry appears between your brows as you attempt to catch up with her. You look from the distance as she talks to Gilgamesh, waving her hands exasperatedly in the air. Thena looks clearly distressed, and you wonder if you had done something wrong.
You saw them walking in your direction before they stopped.
“Y/N, we gotta go. It’s getting late, anyway,” Gilgamesh says, nodding towards the orange shades in the sky. You nod, trying not to look disappointed.
“It’s okay. I understand,” you reply. You can’t help but whisper. “Did I do something wrong?” When they pass by you.
Surprisingly, it’s Thena who turns to you. She approaches you. Her skin is soft and warm above your hand. She smiles at you, a calm expression behind her blue eyes.
“You did nothing wrong, my dear,” Thena cocks her head, smiling fondly all the time. “I’d love to see you again anytime soon.” You smile at her, flustered.
“I’d like that, too.”
Then, Gilgamesh comes over and hands you a card with his number.
“I bake pies, too,” he says.
You laugh, and you watch them walk away. Thena promptly wrapped her arm around her friend’s.
***
You did call Gilgamesh three days later. You convinced yourself that it was not only because of Thena and how anxious you are to see her again but because you had loved his grape jelly and you wanted more. So you had a quick talk with him, and placed an order, including other jelly flavors. Then, there’s a shuffle on the phone and a female voice says timidly:
“Hi.”
“Hi, Thena,” you reply. “I hope you’re feeling better.”
“I’m all good,” Thena says. “I was thinking we could get ice cream again. It was really fun last time. I’m sorry I had to leave early.”
“It’s okay. No problems,” you assured her. “So, when can I pick you up?” There was a silence on the other side of the line, and you wondered if Thena was probably asking Gilgamesh, though you couldn’t quite understand their relation yet. After a minute, her voice sounded on the phone again.
“After tomorrow. Is that okay?” She asks.
“It’s perfect,” you smile, looking at the calendar on the wall. “See you in two days, then,” Thena says her goodbye, and you hang up.
You could barely wait for it.
So the next two days were the hardest to wait. Anxiety was consuming little by little, but you talked to Thena on the phone, either she called you or you called her. You felt more comfortable calling her after that first call. You came over after confirming the address with Gilgamesh.
She looked as stunning on the front steps as she had looked the first day you met. You greet Gilgamesh, opening the car’s door to let her in. She looked like a goddess with all her elegance as she sat down. You couldn’t imagine somebody like Thena would be interested in you.
As you both had planned, you take her to an ice cream parlor. You let her pick any flavor she wants, and she looks excited to try out some she didn’t know, like Oreo, Mint Chocolate, and Green Tea. An odd combination, but she seemed to enjoy it. And you could get to know her a little better.
The sun was setting, and the orange and pink hues in the sky made her blonde hair glow vividly.
“I should probably go home,” she declared after you finished your ice cream. You looked curiously at her.
“Are you Cinderella?” You smirk.
Thena tilts her head, slightly confused.
“Wait, you don’t know who Cinderella is?” Thena shakes her head. “No way! The Disney movie? The fairytale?” She doesn’t seem to know a connection between these.
“Wow, where did you grow up?”
“Many places,” she replies. “I’ve lived many lives.”
You laugh as if it was all a joke.
“Okay, okay,” you rest your chin on your hand. “Cinderella is a Disney princess who goes to the prince’s ball, even though her stepmother didn’t allow her to go. So her fairy godmother gave her a beautiful and magical dress and shoes, so Cinderella could go and meet the prince. But she warned her that the magic would stop working at midnight. Cinderella danced with the prince all night and when the bell rang, she ran away.” You tell her.
“I’m not running away,” Thena states. “You can call me and come to see me whenever you want.”
Your smile widened.
“Good to know.”
You paid for the ice creams and drove her home. You talked all the way back, you introduced her to your favorite singers and bands, you recommended her some movies. It was funny because even though Thena was clearly older than you, she didn’t know some old songs that you liked. However, she did know a lot about history in detailed tales you heard growing up. She would talk about the Babilon, Mesopotamia, and many other important battles in the past that led to human evolution.
You pulled over, seeing the lights inside the house and a whistle coming from a window you supposed was the kitchen.
“Safe and sound,” you say, turning to Thena just to catch her eyes already upon you.
“Thank you,” her green eyes reflect the lights inside, and there’s a smile tugging at the corner of her lips.
“See you later?” You tuck a lock of hair behind your ear.
Thena nods. You turn your back to her, then you feel her hand around your wrist, and she pulls you close. Your back hits the car as she leans and kisses you. You simply wrap your arms around her neck, kissing her back. Maybe you were going too fast, but it wouldn't be you if you didn’t give all of yourself.
Thena’s hands run down your waist stopping at your hips. You break the kiss to take a deep breath, but not for so long because you pull her close again, diving your fingers in her golden hair. For a moment, it was as if there was only you both in that poorly lit street. Just two women doing girly things, like, kissing other women.
You feel the gaze of someone upon you, and when you pull yourself away, you can see Gilgamesh spying in the window. You chuckle, looking down, and the heat appears on your cheeks.
“Somebody’s watching us,” you whisper, nodding the chin towards where Gilgamesh is standing. Thena laughs, and you think that’s the first time you actually listened to her laughter.
“He’s like a big brother,” Thena says, a smile stamped on her face. “So, can I see you tomorrow?”
You may look surprised by the unexpected invitation, but you nod affirmatively.
“I’m looking forward to it,” you reply.
Thena kisses you goodbye and gets into the house. You feel lightheaded as if you could walk on the clouds, trapped in a good dream.
***
For the next two weeks, you got to see Thena almost every day. Some days, you would take her out, to the park, to a restaurant, or just to walk holding her hands, giggling between stolen kisses. Others, you would sit in her room and watch a movie, or show her some songs and choreographies. Gilgamesh had a lot of fun, too. He told you he was glad that you came into their lives, he said he didn’t see Thena so happy as she was now in years. This comment warmed your heart.
One day, Gilgamesh called you, saying Thena wasn’t feeling good and it was better if you didn’t come over that day. This worried you, even though he assured you it was nothing to worry about, that she would be better the next morning and sometimes, Thena wasn’t feeling herself. He said Thena just needed to rest for a while, and she would call you when she was better.
You didn’t want to question further, but you couldn’t get out of your head that something was really wrong and that you should at least check on her. So you got the keys to your car with a destination in mind. You passed by the flower shop before, getting a small vase of those tiny blue flowers Thena had loved the first time you hung out.
The front lights are off, which makes you wonder that maybe they had gone to a hospital, but Gilgamesh would call you if that’s the case, right? You sigh, stepping forward, holding the vase with a hand, you ring the campaign with the other. No one comes, you try it again, stretching your neck to attempt to peek through the window. Then, the door opens.
It’s Thena, wrapped in a robe, she looks tired but fierce as usual.
“Hey,” you greet. She steps aside to let you in. “How are you? Is Gilgamesh home?” You ask, looking around.
“Fine. He’s in the garden,” Thena replies. You approach her, kissing her on the cheek.
“He told me you weren’t feeling well, so I brought you some flowers,” you hand her the delicate vase. “I find out they are called forget-me-nots,” you smile.
“They were my favorites,” Thena says, mindlessly, heading to the kitchen. You followed after her.
“Yes. You--”
You didn’t get to finish the sentence when Thena suddenly turned to you, she looked weird, with grey eyes. She muttered something in a language you couldn’t understand, and out of nowhere, a gold spear appeared on her hands as she advanced towards you. You backed away, dropping a mug off the counter.
“Thena. Hey! It’s me! Y/N!” You yelled as she moved forward, striking the spear in your direction. You’ve always been a little clumsy, but right now it was not the time. You thought when you tripped on the rub and fell. This is the end, you conclude. Killed by the woman you liked.
The spear never reached you, though. Gilgamesh had a sort of gold glove in his hand, punching Thena, obliging her to back away from you, until her knees reached the edge of the couch and Gilgamesh knocked her out. Her body fell on the couch. Was she--? You couldn’t make a sentence if you wanted. Gilgamesh came over you, extending a hand to you, which you gladly accepted.
“Y/N, are you okay?” He asks. The glove in his hand disappeared, and you noticed that Thena’s spear was gone, too.
“What the hell?” You blurt out, switching your glance between the man on your side and the woman fallen on the couch.
Gilgamesh goes to check on Thena, lifting her legs and setting her straight on the couch.
“She’s just sleeping,” he says as if he could read your thoughts. “I told you not to come. She could’ve killed you.”
“You told me she was sick!” You argue. “What are you?”
Gilgamesh sighs, clearly not happy for you to have found out his secret. Their secret. He sits on the other couch, though his clothes are covered in dirt. He doesn’t even try to create an excuse about what happened. He looks utterly defeated.
“We’re from a planet called Olympia. Our race is called Eternals. We’ve been here for 7000 years,” he tells you before pointing to Thena. “Thena has a condition. We call it Mahd Viri,” you frown, and he quickly explains. “Her mind fractures under the weight of the memories. We’ve lived many lives.”
“What does it mean?” you ask.
“It means she won’t remember any of it when she wakes up. She won’t remember she attacked and nearly killed you,” you could see the sorrow hidden behind his dark eyes. “She really enjoys your company. It would break her heart to learn that she could've been hurt.”
You pursued your lips, unsure of what to do. So you asked him.
“What should I do, then?”
“Live your life, Y/N. That’s what she would like. Grief is something that we’ve known for centuries,” he says. “Trust me. She enjoyed every single moment she spent with you. She wouldn’t have wished otherwise for you. She’ll be forever grateful for these little moments of joy.”
You gulped, not sure of what you were about to do. She’s an Eternal, and you are a human. Your days are limited, after all. You could never be timeless.

What if Thenas past visits them once again? This time they asks for Gil’s service for a whole day to chop some wood for them. Maybe he meets Eros while he is at the castle?👀
For the runaway bride au
"I've heard a lot of you and your work."
Gil kept his head down and forward, chopping at the thick log, just enough to leave marks in it.
"The townspeople revere you--say you've helped every single one of them with something from a baby's crib to half their house."
He swiped at his forehead with his sleeve, moving to make a divet in the middle of the length of wood.
"When they said we would need a workman to help with me moving into the castle, I said why not find this lumberjack fellow?"
Yes, and Gil was honoured to be chosen. That was his official statement anyway. He certainly couldn't say that he loathed the idea of being here and working for not only Thena's tyrannical father, but her supposed 'fiance' as well.
It was actually Thena who had insisted he take the job. He was ready to turn it down, even if they offered him all the money in the world. But she was right when she said it would be more suspicious of him to turn down the work, especially considering they had suspected him once before.
So, he was here, working for the king and the idiot prince. But he had still insisted Thena not be in the cabin today, just in case they had sent men there to spy on it while he wasn't around.
"So, how's it coming?"
Gil grunted, pulling his personal axe out of the tree and sheathing it beside him. He had been here, chattering away at him, hadn't he? He sighed, "well, your highness."
"Use the saw to cut here and here," Gil directed some of the other workers present to assist him in the busywork, "then strip the bark. Call to me when you're done so I can inspect it. Then we'll move onto the next part."
"Yes, sir."
He wasn't used to - or comfortable with - people calling him that.
"So, Mister Lumberjack," the prince started up again, not paying the slightest attention to the break in his ceaseless talking. "I hear you have a lovely little cabin out in the woods."
Who would he have heard that from? Gil turned, trying not to seem overtly wary of this man he detested just from heresay. "Oh?"
"I've been out in those woods myself," Eros finally paused, looking out past the castle gates and gazing into the surrounding woods. "I've set foot in those woods in search of...something."
That was a very mysterious way of saying he had hunted Thena like an escaped animal.
Gil attached his axe to his belt again and went to the drinking water set out for him. "The woods are dangerous, your highness. Best not to let yourself get lost in them."
"Indeed," the prince agreed, again drifting along with Gil as if he had found a friend in his reluctantly listening ear. It wasn't as if he had much a choice. "You may never return, I take it."
Gil left it at that, maybe even hoping Eros would just shut up and let him continue his work. The sooner he was done, the sooner he could go home to Thena.
Thena and her smiles, so happy to see him. Thena and her horribly chopped vegetables, and her blueberry cobbler, and her tea--either far too weak or far too strong, but he loved it both ways.
"I am moving to Lord Arishem's castle because I am looking for my wife."
Gil bristled, not that he expected Eros to notice it. But it was one thing to hear Eros go on and on and on about Thena, despite them knowing each other all of what--a month? And 'knowing each other' was already a generous term for it.
But to hear Eros call Thena his wife was a new kind of slight.
"She...went missing," Eros sufficed to say.
Gil nodded, trying to think of what a normal person might say in such a situation. Someone who wasn't in fact living with the missing in question. "I'm sorry to hear that, your highness."
"But I will not stop until I have found and retrieved her," Eros stated with a renewed sense of determination. He eyed Gilgamesh, "would you let anything stand between you and the woman you love?"
"No," Gil answered quickly and firmly. Maybe a little too quickly and too firmly, but it was honest. He looked at the prince, with his shoulders squared and drawn back, all perfect posture and thick hair and a prim and spotless suit. He looked at the forest as well, "no, I wouldn't."
"Y'see?" Eros put on his smile once again, and Gil swore he could see that the veneer of it only got thinner and thinner the longer he was around this charlatan. "You and I are of the same ilk, sir Lumberjack."
Gil sincerely hoped not.
"Have you ever seen anything in those woods?"
Gil took another sip from the bucket before throwing some over his head to cool off. "Like what, your highness?"
"Like something - or someone - that doesn't belong there."
Gil ruffled his hair with the linen also provided, "no, sire, I can't say I have."
"What is your name, again?"
He wouldn't have expected the guy to remember his name. "Gilgamesh, sir."
"Gilgamesh," Eros looked at him, as if looking him in the eyes didn't make his skin crawl. "I would like to confess something to you."
"Uh," Gil shifted on his feet before grounding himself. He swallowed down his anxiety. "S-Sure, your highness."
"I have heard whispers that there is a beautiful wood sprite in that forest," Eros whispered, and yet it came out much more sinister in Gil's eyes. "I know it's her. I know she couldn't have gotten that far. And I will find her."
Gil had half a mind to ask what kind of threat that was. But he rested his hand on his axe and forced a smile on his face, "I'm sure you will, your highness."
Eros turned a more suspicious eye on him. Gil froze, waiting for whatever he was going to say next. "You're a strapping fellow, Gilgamesh. You've never married?"
Gil squirmed again, thoughts bubbling up about a certain blonde 'wood sprite' picking berries in a sunlit glen. "Lumberjacking is solitary work, your highness. I, uh, don't get out much."
Eros nodded with a completely nonplussed expression, "my sympathies."
Gil looked at the other workmen; couldn't they saw any faster?!
"I'm sorry, Gilgamesh," Eros lamented, sighing loudly. "It must seem terribly haughty of me to come here and complain about my woes while you fashion my room furnishings."
Yes, it was. "Not at all, your highness."
"I miss her."
Of all the things Eros had said, this made Gil the most uncomfortable. He didn't want to look at the expression Eros was making, but he had to know. He looked behind him, finding a wistful, almost sad expression on the younger man's face.
Gil unsheathed his axe again, moving to another piece of wood. "Did you...did you know her long, your highness?"
"No," Eros admitted freely as Gil started chopping again, "but the time I did know her was more than enough to inspire love."
Gil knew how unfortunately true that was. He swung his axe again. He was out of sympathies for this pampered rich boy.
"Thank you, Gilgamesh, for listening to my woes," Eros brushed off his shoulders, adorned in gold. "I will leave you to your work, sir."
"Yes, your highness," Gil muttered. This couldn't be over soon enough.
"I'm sure we will see each other again."
That also sounded ominously like a threat. But he kept that to himself. He refused to give anyone here any reason to suspect him, no less go sniffing around in the woods again.

Little Green Monster part 1
Request: Can i ask for a dark! Druig with an eternal reader? She is always affectionate with all of them but he's always been possessive and clingy over her and doesn't like to share her affection with the others
(Y/n) let down her force field that was protecting the city from the diviants. Gilgamesh and Thena came back with triumphant smiles while Sersi walked back with Kingo and Icarus looking tired and Makkari was perky as ever. Druig, Ajak, Sprite and Phastos had stayed behind with me. I greeted them warmly before we all went back to the place that we would be residing. I knew Druig would be in a mood as he usually was after a mission like this. I think he felt left out as he rarely got to use his powers, unlike the rest of us.
So often I would take him out for a walk after so he could have some attention but this diviant took a while to take down and I was worn out from exerting myself. He pouted but didn’t argue when I told him I needed to sleep. I had fallen asleep in my little bed alone but when I woke up in the middle of the night I felt as if I was being watched. I sat up and looked around seeing a dark figure in the corner. I turned invisible and got out of bed and went to go find Druig. I went into his room but it was empty so I went and woke up Phastos my other best friend.
He rubbed his eyes, “What’s wrong (y/n)?”
“Someone is in my room can I stay with you tonight?”
He scooted over and I climbed into bed with him. In the morning Druig was in a worse mood. But of course he refused to talk about it. So I went about my day, no use letting him drag my mood down if he wasn’t going to talk about it. I went into town to get some supplies for the group and as I do Druig approaches me. I give him a smile but he doesn’t return it, in fact he scowled. “You going to tell me what’s wrong now?”
He fidgeted at first but then asked, “Do you like Phastos?”
“He is one of my best friends.” I shrugged.
Druig didn’t like this answer, “What? You’re best friend?”
“Yeah, you and him. Both of you are my best friends.” I chirped completely missing the jealousy in his voice.
He nodded but didn’t say anything just began to follow me though the streets holding whatever I handed to him. Going back it was becoming more obvious that Druig was upset. Once everything was squared away I pulled him aside and demanded he tell me what he was so grouchy about.
“I… I…. Went to talk to you last night… but I scared you and you went to Phastos room.”
“I went to your room first.” I argued, “But you weren’t there, why didn’t you say something?”
“I scared you…”
I pinched my brows together trying to understand what was happening. He was in my room standing in the corner of my room but he said he was trying to talk to me but it was dark and he made no attempt to do actually communicate with me. He had stayed in the shadows. It just didn’t make any sense. And his story was like a cover up.
I walked with him back to camp and began to put away and prepare food. Druig watched from the small kitchen table. I tried to ignore it but he glared at anyone who came into the kitchen to talk to me. It absolutely irked me. “Druig it looks like I forgot to pick up some eggs could you please go get some?” I asked trying to just get him out.
Once gone Phastos came in, “Boy is in a mood today, huh?”
“Yeah, he’s been really clingy and possessive. He glares at everyone who even dares to look at me.”
Phastos laughed, “Maybe you should take him out for some mommy and Druig time.”
I couldn’t help but laugh too, “Maybe I should.”
Druig and I went apple picking and one of the local men that was there started flirting with me. Druig got closer to me like he was trying to claim his territory. “Druig, you need to stop acting like you have a claim on me. If you want a stake on me you got to do better than just glaring at other people!” I barked exasperated by his behavior.

Hear me out, imainge Techno raiseing a little girl and she just brings home her first boy friend or something. Techno being Techno just reacts to this in a "hurt her and i'll kick your ass" kinda way.
This idea wont leave my head and I have no idea why.---
Also hope you have a great rest of the weekend!! :D
-🐼😐
Oh my god he would be the best/worst dad ever. Best because he would be so loving and supportive. But worst because he was so terrifying.
Also! Apologies before hand I got a little carried away (I love domestic dad techno, what can I say)
Athena- Technoblade
Warning: none, maybe protective dad Techno?
Tumblr media
When you first had children Techno was pretty hesitant. He wasn't sure if the child would like him or despise him. He also wasn't sure if he would even be a decent father. Of course being his loving and supportive wife, you already knew Techno was utterly amazing with children. So when you announced you were pregnant, you swiftly eased Techno's nerves about fatherhood.
When your baby was born he cried, he was so over joyed at the sight of your little darling within his arms. Phil, having known the lengths and dangers of pregnancies, was glad that you had safely delivered a healthy baby girl. Almost a exact replica of you to be precise. With little ruby eyes she looked at you both with wonder. Quickly finding comfort with her Mother, Father and Uncle. Techno upon seeing her, knew she would grow to be strong. Whether she choose to be delicate as a flower, or as fierce as a warrior. He would be there to support his little girl. With that said, he only found one name, perfect enough to fit his little darling.
   Athena.
Like her name foretold, she became a elegant warrior. From a young age she was driven to make her father forever proud. Of course he was naturally proud of her. But that didn't stop her from picking a bow, and sword up to challenge her father.
When she was a toddler, she found amusement and love for the little things. Athena and Steve had even become inseparable. Her father was gushing over the idea that his daughter had a love for large animals similarly to him.
Of course you were also close to her. She was your daughter, made of your flesh and blood. While Techno taught her everything about combat, you often shown her the gentle side of things.
Between You and Techno- and the rather occasional help from Phil- you guys had taught Athena to be fierce, yet gentle and loving. Something you were all very proud of.
Tumblr media
As Athena aged she became rather beautiful, growing to look a lot more like Techno then you first had perceived. With her father's strong gaze and jawline she became a heartbreaker without even knowing it.
You and Techno both knew she was gentle and loving. But due to Technoblade being her father, many boys and women alike tended to shy away from her. Fearing of upsetting her or her father.
Techno felt bad at the idea of his daughter being alone. He knew what it was like to be shunned by most people. It wasn't something he wished his little girl to face.
You, having been the more positive person in the marriage, knew that it would just take time for her to find the right person. Sure enough, you were right.
Athena had found friendship with a hybrid Ender boy named Nathaniel. Although rather tall he was in fact timid. Athena waisted no time in telling you about her long adventures with Nathan by her side. Soon the name "Nathan" and “Nate” had become a house hold name for your family.
Of course you had met Nathan occasionally. Having seen him when you would walk with Athena to the nearby village. He was a kind and loving boy towards you, and all those he encountered. When he started bringing Athena flowers, you had more then a well known hunch of where it would lead to. As always, you were indeed right again.
One morning Athena was a bit restless in her seat at breakfast. While you fed your young toddler, you couldn't help but wonder if she was ok. You were the type of mom to let your children come to you with their issues on their own terms. Figuring to wait until they were comfortable with bringing things up, then being pushed to tell you. It worked with your sixteen year old daughter and your twelve year old son. So you planned to roll with that for your soon two year old son as well.
Soon enough she did budge. "Mom?" She asked softly. You turned to her, showing she had your full attention. She cleared her throat and poked at her egg a bit. "I invited Nathan over for today... I hope that's ok..." she asked a bit shy. Something was up, but you weren't about to pry.
"Of course that's ok Thena, he’s your friend" you smiled softly to her wanting her to feel at ease. Her brother narrowed his eyes a bit. You watched your son from the corner of your eye. He knew something. Your middle child took after Techno expression wise. The look he was currently giving his sister, was the same look Techno gave you when he knew you weren't telling the full story. With your youngest in front of you asking for more food, you slowly moved your attention away from the eldest children.
"Will dad be coming home today?" Your son asked curiously. You herd the bemusement lace his tone. You hummed and put a spoonful of oatmeal into the toddlers mouth.
"I believe so. Phil and Your Father said they wouldn't be long with the Mansion run" you said looking over to him. With your youngest now almost two Techno started up his usual runs again. When you had a baby in the house he was always hesitant to leave for too long. Of course you always told him you would be fine. Thankfully your children were well behaved and easy to keep track of- that is unless your oldest son felt the urge to annoy his sister of course.
Tumblr media
It was about a little after noon before Techno and Phil had returned home. Your toddler was the first to see them from the window of course. Calling out "daddy" and insisting that you all go out to meet him. With no hesitation you scooped up your baby and wondered out with your kids. Athena was smiling brightly. But you could also tell she was on edge.
When Techno rode up to the house your toddler was thrashing for him. Only easing up when he was handed to Techno. Your husband had the largest smile as he took his son in his hands. Asking if he was missed. You gave Phil a warm welcoming smile. Hugging him when he dismounted from his horse.
While you stood by Phil talking about the trip, your youngest children were hugging there father when he came down. Happy to have him home once again.
Athena, although overjoyed that her dad was home. Found her attention drawn to the young Ender boy approaching from the tree line. The two hugged happily when he met up with her.
Techno had traded your toddler to Phil. Making room within his arms for you. With your body pressed up to his, you turned your head to give him a warm welcoming kiss. But instead paused to see Nathan and your daughter hugging. Techno, expecting a nice kiss started to pout. But he soon stopped when he saw a unfamiliar boy with his little girl.
You had previously met Nathaniel, however, Techno has not. He’s only herd about this boy. So he was a bit skeptical.
Athena didn't hesitate to bring Nathan over to your little family. With Techno and Phil in full armor, you felt a bit bad that shy Nathan had to meet them this way. Your sons stood with Phil, your youngest within his arms. You stood in front of Techno, your husband towering over you with only his hand on your shoulder.
"Who is this?" Techno asked, his eyebrow slightly raised in question. Athena smiled hesitantly. Nathan quietly looking Techno over.
"Dad... This is Nathaniel... That boy I always talk about" you smiled warmly at the boy. Saying it was nice to see him again. He gave you a shy, but warm smile in return. Techno's eyes lingered over Nathaniel. Almost summing him up. "Nate.. this is my Dad and Uncle..." she said pointing. Nathan stepped away from Athena's side. Slowly stepping up to you and Techno. With a hesitant arm he held his hand out to Techno for a handshake. When Techno shook Nathan's hand, the size difference was easy to spot. Where Techno had strong calloused hands, Nathans were limber, long, and soft. Easily one of his Enderman traits he possessed.
Techno didn't make direct eye contact. Having remembered when Ranboo stayed with you two years previously. Ranboo had off hand mentioned making eye contact was seen as a hostile move to Enderman.
"Its very nice to meet you finally, sir..." Nathan said rather quietly. Techno although on the fence. Didn't choose to try and be intimidating. Instead he kept his normal monotone voice.
"It's nice to meet you too"
Tumblr media
Nathan ended up staying for dinner that night. Athena and Nathan mostly stuck together, but both were a bit nervous you could tell. But again you didn't push it.
After dinner Phil took the kids outside for a late night walk. Figuring he would leave you and Techno alone for a bit. Of course you weren't fully alone. Athena and Nathan stuck about. With the two sat together on the couch, Athena ended up falling asleep on Nathans shoulder.
Well you and Techno talked in the other room at the table, the last person you expected to see was Nathan. He quietly walked in and waited for you two to finish talking before he began. "I... I uhm, have something to ask you s-sir" Nathan began uncertain. You gave him a kind smile and motioned for him to sit.
When he sat he looked between you two. Mostly looking for reassurance from you so he could address Techno. Techno didn't push, he just calmly waited for the boy to speak. "A..Athena really cares about your opinion... And.. I... I know I want to do this right..." he was stumbling over his words. You could tell he was nervous. Quietly you just told him to take a deep breath. He nodded and did so. Waiting a moment before continuing. "W...with your permission as her Father... Could I please date your daughter?... S-she means the world to me... all I want is her happy..." Nathan was shying away from Techno. Almost expecting him to yell or something.
Techno watched a bit and thought on his words. Truthfully Techno was proud of this boy. Everyone was terrified to date his daughter, yet a shy Ender boy had purposefully stepped aside to ask him for permission. "I suppose I'll let you..." Techno said slowly. Nathaniel's shoulders visibly relaxed at Techno's words. Of course techno narrowed his eyes after, becoming serious "just know I was your age. If she ends up pregnant anytime soon, I'm coming for you" Techno meant it. Nathaniel went red and swallowed thickly before slowly nodding.
"Y-yes sir...."

Bestie "vibes" only! 💚 - Profiles 1/2
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(This is their personal/fan accs nobody knows who they actually are 😁)
(@/dumbashell is Akosuas private)
★Akosua (@nctzenanti)
Well.. She sure has her passions. And when I say I passions I mean she's the nosiest bitch in the planet and will find out everything and when I say everything I mean that they're the type of person to find her crushes grandma's Facebook without knowing what they're last name is to see if they're related. Apart from that they're a big kpop fan and a creative media major finishing school 2 years early because they're built different. They already started a small business and it's so popular because it's like she can read their mind! I mean that's impossible! Right?
_______________________________________
❀Thena (@thenasgotitall)
Thena is like everyones first love. She's so lovely to everyone it's no wonder she's so popular. But there's one thing about her. She has to be one of the clumsiest people you've ever met. But for some reason the things she drops never break... Weird. But anyways she's a BIG renjun fan girl like she'd probably faint of fear and adoration for renjun. I mean can you blame her? But maybe she should fix that problem because I don't think it would be a good first impression fainting infront of your groupmate ☹️
---------------------------------------------------
𖦹Gina (@cheese)
Gina is very... Confrontational to say the least. When I say that I mean she always finds out when you're talking shit about her or her friends. It's like she can hear what your saying! Maybe she can..
_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-
☹︎Aiden (@aidenz)
One thing you have to know before speaking to aiden is that he's very expressive! It's like even when he's not speaking you know exactly how he's feeling. It's kind of weird but after some time you just don't question it. One thing you probably wouldn't know about him is that he's the biggest Markf. In fact he's the kind of delulu to tell you that he and Mark were cutting up at a random cousins birthday party last week. Which is why he decided to audition for nct to get closer to Mark and achieve his dreams on being a successful rapper.
-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_
❄︎ Leon (@64zoolane)
Where do I start. To be honest Leon will be one of the most confusing people in your life. He's like those tiktok accounts with the eren pfp who calls everyone mommy because he's insane.
But sometimes you can catch him speaking to clear space ... Weird. He's actually OK when he's preparing for his debut as an Nct member though.

Summary: NCT has a new unit debuting. That means shotaro and Sungchan finally have their own unit! But the rest of the lineup is strange... Its not like their rude or anything! They're really nice! But something about them is different... Wait a minute!? There's girls in this unit!?
