Thoughts about Boruto 82

Boruto

Half the chapter is just Boruto and Code going "I'm gonna kill you." "Nuh-UH, I'm gonna kill YOU." I do think Boruto's going to win, because Code believes he's Kawaki, who...did not do well last time they fought.

Boruto is talking like he had a trip to the future and saw a really bad timeline. I'm not sure how that would be possible, but the anime did show Otsutsuki had time-travel technology, so who the heck knows.

Ten-Tails Clones

I do really like how the clones are using Code's abilities tactically. That's a nice departure from the Zetsu.

I was wondering why the clones kept trying to bite people with their nubby human teeth, especially when they have those giant claws on their feet. But it turns out they are tree vampires - instead of turning you into the undead, their bite turns you into a tree.

Team 10

Shikadai is MVP this chapter. Although Chocho is also really badass. Inojin though...honestly, this bit with him calling Chocho chubby and her getting offended was old the first time the manga did it. This is why it took me so long to warm up to Inojin.

That said, him being so protective of Himawari is really sweet. Maybe it's just me, but it feels like the manga is really pushing Inojin x Himawari ship.

Himawari

Given how she was training earlier, I hope Himawari gets to do SOMETHING in this fight besides stand on the sidelines looking worried.

That said, the sky scene was unintentionally hilarious. The clone destroys Inojin's mount, and Himawari rolls off and plummets through the air. But instead of screaming or trying to fight the clone, she just gets a blank look on her face and goes "Oh!". Like she realized her sandal buckle snapped instead of the fact that she was facing a life-or-death situation. This girl is truly unflappable.

Sarada

Her design looks really good this chapter. I'm glad she got some badass moments.

I also liked when that guy asks "are you really just a genin?" and Sarada stares at him like he's asked the dumbest question in the world. Her rank really doesn't matter right now. What matters is that the dumb-question dude is about to be attacked by tree vampires and turn into driftwood.

Kawaki

On one hand, he needs to be nicer to Himawari. On the other hand, I can see why Himawari calling him the same thing she used to call Boruto would set off a few trauma buttons. You get what you wish for...literally.

Sexuality Headcanon:

I have two different headcanons depending on the fic/au, but this boy is not straight in any of them. I do bounce between bisexual and homosexual, and more often take the bi approach because this boy can see beauty in all bodies 💜

Gender Headcanon:

Here I bounce between two gender headcanons as well. I have explored a genderfluid version of him in a fic before, and I love the he/they headcanon of Inojin 😌 However, there is also something powerful in him identifying as cis, but still liking presenting in a more feminine manner! In fics always write him as "he".

A random headcanon:

I have mentioned this before, but in a modern au Inojin's favourite artist would be Sia. I love the headcanon of Inojin being born too early and be v smol as a baby. He is an extrovert. As a preteen he was the class clown to cover his own insecurities.

General Opinion over said character:

Look, I know Inojin is easy to overlook. The anime isn't always working in his favour, but beneath the canon there is a vast sea of endless possibilities to work with this character. He is cute, sassy, insecure, feminine and devoted 🤍

When it comes to shipping, I guess I just let every ships co-exist, so I don’t mind InoCho at all :3

They remind me of the Lovely Complex couple, because they are really friendly with each other, fighting, teasing etc so when Romantic feelings starts appearing, it’s cute to see the relationship evolving.

Inojin always calls her Debu, it’s like one of those Shojo stories in which the girl only remembers the childhood friend being always bad to her, and the boy confessing that it was because he liked her back then, yep those kind of story lol ^^”

Random Chou-Chou Headcanons: Part 1

0.Chou-chou actually likes to read in the library with mitsuki.

1.Chou-chou has a beauty mark underneath her left eye which she cover it from her hair.

2.She have a gold fish in her desk room that is a gift from inojin on her birthday.

3.She likes to collect butterflies in the forest a lot and when it died she put it on a portrait that is full of different kinds of butterfly on her room.

4.Sometimes chocho work at the flower shop if her aunt ino is busy at work.

5.Everytime when chocho can't sleep at midnight she goes out and would fly using her butterfly mode across the town to see how beautiful the village is at night without any ninja can see her.

6.Her and Sarada plans on trowing a sleepover with the two of them every week(they invite sumire if she's not busy)

7.She often visit her grandparents in kumogakure and would spend time picnicking on her granpa's secret garden.

8.She also visit her grama(choji's mom) to great choza's grave(i think he's dead and no longer alive)

MitsuCho Week 2021

Day 7: Summer Date

“ChoCho, I have a surprise for you.”

“Really,” she asked? Her eyes lit up. There they were, spending the day before her birthday together at the beach. They sat side by side atop a beach towel on the sand, enjoying the cool ocean breeze. Was this the day he would say it; when Mitsuki would finally put his feelings for her into words? She had told him she really liked him and wanted to be his girlfriend, yet all he had said was that he knew. Sure, they kissed each other and went on dates, but she wanted to hear him say how he felt about her.

“Close your eyes first,” he said. Mitsuki did his trademark smile and head tilt.

She did so, wondering how he would go about it. Maybe he would take her in his arms, give her a passionate kiss, then whisper it in her ear. Her pulse was quickening at the thought.

“SURPRISE!” A crowd’s worth of voices rang out. Startled, she opened her eyes and looked around. All their friends from Konohagakure had managed to sneak up and assemble around them. Sarada was holding a platter of sliced watermelon. Boruto, Shikadai, and Inojin were holding a banner that said Happy Birthday. Some of the others had presents or food.

“Happy birthday, ChoCho! Are you surprised?” Mitsuki asked, still smiling away.

Her jaw hung open as she took in the sight. “Yeah, I’m surprised, all right! I wasn’t expecting that at all... Thank you, guys.” It was nice of all of them to do and she did appreciate it. As for Mitsuki, perhaps she needed to drop some more hints before he got the message.

Shikadai x chocho headcanons?

Mm...

Chocho,at age 13,starts caring more about her looks and not just bragging about them. So she actually tries her best to go through some hardship so she can lower her weight.

Inojin doesn't care like always,but he says he apprecciates her will.

Choji tells him that she is beautiful even in this state,and that akimichi's are naturally big and strong.

Karui also tells chocho that it is pointless to try it,since somethings run in blood.

But only shikadai and sarada comfort her and motivate chocho,even though they tell her that maybe it may be possible that the change is temporary,since she needs calories to remain a reliable ninja.

After 3 years,chocho gets what she wants,a slim but muscular body. She is now 5'7 tall,compared to sarada's 5'4,sumire's 5'3,tsuru's and wasabi's 5'6,namida's 5'1 and hako's 5'0.

Then,shikadai asks her to go on a date with her,which she gladly accepts.
