Philippians 4:1-12
Paul penned these words from prison. And a few verses before that he says, "Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!"
Contentment comes when we rejoice in the Lord. Think about your life right now. Can you appreciate what you have instead grumbling about what you don’t have? What you have in Christ is far greater than anything you don’t have in life. You have Jesus.
Paul is confident that His God is enough. He ends the chapter, (verse 19) by affirming,
"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus." Therefore, you have everything you need for now and eternity. And Jesus has you. That makes all the difference in the world. Would you quit looking at others and look to Jesus? Do you realise how blessed you are to have Him in your life?

Let's see what Jesus shows us about friendship
and how we're supposed to treat one another.
📖John 11:35-36
35 Jesus wept.
36 Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him!
❣️This is when Lazarus was dead and buried. I think Jesus showed us he grieves over his friend. Whether it be that he didn't know for sure he could raise him up or he needed man to see grief is a part of life.
❣️Below is significant scripture for me. It was told to me in at a much needed time in my life. I've shared it with many others. No matter what it may look like, God has full control. This is assurance that He knows it seems strange. But if you're with Him, it's all for His glory.
📖1 Peter 4:12-14
12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
❣️We're supposed to encourage, teach, hold each other accountable, uplift, assemble together, confess and pray for each other.
📖Proverbs 27:17-20
17 Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.
18 Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he that waiteth on his master shall be honoured.
19 As in water face answereth to face, so the heart of man to man.
20 Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied

THOUGHTS:

   When I was younger, I always wanted a drum set, and I asked my parents for it; they said no, so they got me a guitar instead. I didn't really like the guitar as much as I cared to have drums; my dad told me it was loud and it was going to disturb the whole house; at the time of asking, I didn't care; I wanted that drum set, I soon forgot about the drum set and moved passed it and like any child,they want what they want .
Sometimes we can ask for things. We dont think about how it will affect others or ourselves; we just so focus on what we asked for , and if we don’t get it we’re to upset to think rationally , so we ignore all the signs of God saying no, and we focus on what we want, and maybe we hear him and we still want what we want .
  The verse is telling us today that a good father will not give their child something harmful, something wrong, something that will harm them in anyway; a good father will give their child something that will bring joy or fulfill them; the father in this verse gave a fish instead of a snake and an egg instead of a scorpion we might see the things we are asking for as blessings or something serious and real but God sees them as distractions and hindrances, sometimes we have to be grateful for that , we serve a God that looks at the overall picture and not just the here and now and honestly that's how some of us is we look at the here and now and what can we get for the moment and not how this will effect us long term, we’re so blinded by what we want MORE of then being grateful and content.
  The verse before this one says this: Verse 9:" And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you."
  Jesus is telling us to ask and we will receive , and when we seek him we will find him and when we knock it will be open to us alot of us seek just for an hour or maybe a day thats it , or we seek until we get what we want but Jesus is saying seek me and you receive and find , but Are we seeking with our whole heart? Are we seeking for the right reason , or we asking for the right things with the right intensions , we all have intenstion behind anything we ask for.
For example with the drum set I wanted , was because it was something I seen other people do and I meddled around on it just a tad bit ,and honestly my parent knew it wasn’t someting I was going to keep doing , and for them to pay all that money and I only use it a couple of times was a waste and on top of it being loud , it was a no , it took me GROWING to undestand it , just like us we must ask God what is his reason or could he give us something different ,God wants us to be happy , he wants us to feel that we could come to him about anything but if our asking doesnt algin with his will for our lives we won’t receive it , sometimes we have to grow in God to see the things we desires wasn’t of him or wasn’t in his will.
1 Corinthians 13:11 “When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.”
   God has a plan for our lives, and believe it or not, God  has plans for us to prosper; he has plans for us not to be the tail but to be the head; he has plans for us to succeed but in the way he wants of us, verse 8 "But I tell you this—though he won’t do it for friendship’s sake if you keep knocking long enough, he will get up and give you whatever you need because of your shameless persistence."
  In this verse, Jesus was telling a story about a man who went to his friend's house late to borrow bread, and the friend told him to leave him alone because it was late. He and his family are in bed, and he says, " I can’t help you. Jesus tells them that if the men keep knocking, the friend will help him because of his persistence and that’s what God wants us to do.
Maybe God won't give us this because it's not in his will, but he will give us that ,keep asking, keep calling on the name of God, & don’t STOP seeking him, START seeking him every day with a heart of belief WITH no doubt, we have to stop allowing our doubt to kill our blessings and belief we must stand on God and believe that what he says in his word is true , Do you believe that? that it's true! 
***Today, whatever you lack, go to God. Whatever you need, go to God. Dont allow what you see to stop you; allow your desire and his word to keep you seeking him for answers.  God is so ready to bless us and so ready to give, but we give up so soon because we get so angry with God because he won't budge; he doesn't have to; when I was younger, the choir used to sing this song, and it says anyway you bless me lord I’ll be satisfied , anyway i’ll be satisfied , we must be satisfied with what he gives us but seek him with your heart knowing he will give it to you. ©Seer~ Prophetess Lee

Heavenly Father thank you for everything you have done for us , we ask today that you forgive us of the sins we have done , lord we ask that you allow us to grow in you ! We want you to show us anything that’s in our heart that’s not of you. Today we learned how to seek your will , and to be grateful for everything . Sometimes that’s hard to do but we ask you to complete us and to help us to be settled in you , and be satisfied! Help us not to lose heart but to continue to knock and seek for your will for us and for the things we desire , Lord create in us a new heart and renew a right spirit within us today in Jesus Name Amen
