Mandalorian Empire Integration AU

Obi-Wan: *sits down in a therapist’s office in the medical halls, less worried about being here and more bored*

Therapist: *looks at his file* Wow. Sexual harassment charges on the first day. I figured we’d never have to deal with a Jetii coming in for that, but even our most… excitable of recruits don’t land me before at least a week. Tell me, what was it that did it? The baar’ur wear too low of a shirt? Just annoyed and wanted to hurt someone?

Obi-Wan: *eyebrows going up* What does the file say I did?

Therapist: …insubordination, vulgar behavior and lying about body issues… actually that sounds more like our drug seekers than a sexual harassment case. What happened?

Obi-Wan: They asked me if I had peircings and I said yes. They asked what kind and I said a Prince Albert. So they undid my pants because I was still cuffed and found no peircings.

Therapist: *exhausted sigh* You told them you had genital piercings so they’d have to check?

Obi-Wan: I say it’s their fault. They could have taken my word for it. Actually I’d like to take /them/ up on a sexual harassment case because I never gave permission for them to check.

Therapist: *looks at his file again* I see your an apprentice to a high level Jetii negotiator. I’m going to flag you as a natural liar and we can take things with a grain of salt. Tell your integrator I’ve updated your file and they’d better head my words.

Obi-Wan: *gets up with a languid stretch* Actually I’m considering telling her you touched me in inappropriate places once you had me alone. I’m just a sweet little sixteen year old padawan, Jedi dont know what sex is, clearly I thought it was a game when you put my hand down your pants. *shrugs and walks out*

Therapist: *immediately picks up the comm to call his integrator* this one might be better off given back to the Jetii.

the Integration!AU (star wars) that won't leave me alone

i need y'all to understand i have been CONSUMED by Integration!AU Obi-Wan Kenobi to the tune of King by Florence & the Machine, with existential horror for the win.

Imagine Obi-Wan Kenobi, a good man because he is a Jedi. Imagine Obi-Wan, captured by the Mandalorian Empire- by a Jango Fett who is cruel and great, who looks and does nothing but want. Obi-Wan who tells them, quietly warning, angrily begging and then finally resigned to the end of this.

Because when is a Jedi not a Jedi?

The Jedi who say we serve the galaxy, we cannot be selfish, give to others what you can, be compassionate, be at peace, war for the innocents to be defended, the Jedi, the light wielding monks in their stately temples.

The Sith who consume and devour, destroy and conquer without a care because enough is never enough, their addiction written into their bodies, into their souls and everyone can see it.

But here Obi-Wan is, in the Heart of the Empire, no where to go, with it's King standing before him, saying, commanding, ordering him-

You are one of us now.

The Mandalorians who are passionate for life and compassionate towards children, who live for family, die for family, give their all for family, for Mandalore, for Mand'alor and nothing will ever be enough, but all of you.

Obi-Wan is beautiful, terrible and on his head is a golden crown of sorrow with his bloody sword to swing held aloof in his hands.

Obi-Wan who is never satisfied, who is never as good as he always wished he was, but who knew how to dress it up.

Obi-Wan who feels the Mandalorians' dazzling pain like diamond rings, the need to go to war to find material to sing, beskar, ade, kote, unending, unceasing, unsatisfied.

What is Sith but philosophy? What is Jedi but a way of life?

What is Manda but the way?

About the lore(?) Under the cut!

So. Um. It's a typical Swap AU where Knives is trying to save humanity and Vash annihilate it.

But not out of hatred; instead Vash loves mankind so much he wants to save them from human suffering altogether by fully merging them with the Plants.

By merging, Plants become independent like himself and humans become (almost) immortal. No hunger, pain, or disease. But instead human subjects lose free will, or can get killed by the process. Utter Human-Plant Integration, thus "Integration AU"

Vash have amassed some zealots through his own religion (like Knives did in the canon) and the most devoted of them become "the Clerics" (Gung-ho Guns). Cleric Bluesummers however had a change of his heart and joined Knives on his mission to stop Vash. Because I can't separate millionsummers

All Clerics wear 'clerical collar' like things, but they differ in style. (e.g. woowoo's chocker)

Morality

Knives WILL kill if necessary, but not willingly. He will avoid if possible. Same goes to Legato. (Also... will do mercy killing at some point?)

Vash also will kill some if they are REALLY in the way, but mourns them deeply and weeps for days

About their powers:

Vash of course has higher capacity but his true Gate can only be open by Knives; making him essential for his plan. Without him he can only produce some plant material but can be deadly to human nonetheless. Same goes to knives; only few blades at a time, but still a deadly warrior (close-range fighter like Edward FMA). Also he carries a gun, since you can't really bring a knife to a gunfight?? Lol. he wears cropped jacket, so his gun is hidden on his sides, with a holster. Knives also can heal other plants, like Vash did in the canon.

Miles and Phoenix were never separated, and so they remained best friends through high school and college. They both went to law school, but Phoenix got a BFA and went to law school wanting to defend artistic and creative rights. He also went because he would be bored all day if Miles was still going to school and he wasn’t

Edgeworth actually becomes a lawyer and he works at his mother’s firm

Mia ends up working there instead of at Grossberg’s because it makes more sense that she would work at the firm connected to DL-6 and also uh she would have a woman as her boss lmao (Eleanor ends up becoming like a mother-figure for Mia, and Miles becomes like a younger brother to her)

Since Mia isn’t working at Grossberg’s, she wasn’t involved in the Fawles trial (which was prosecuted by Franziska). Diego was the defense attorney on that one, and he went on a solo mission to investigate Dahlia. He and Mia met and became friends, but Diego kept the Dahlia investigation close to his chest and a secret, partially to protect Mia (since they were friends now and since she was a new attorney and inexperienced). Diego and Mia finally ask each other out one day, and they plan to have a date later that week, but Diego then has to go to a meeting he has…which was with Dahlia…and he got poisoned…and by the time he wakes up, Mia is dead and they never got to go on that first date. He was asleep and unable to protect her, which is why he didn’t tell her about the Dahlia investigation in the first place. He ends up blaming the Edgeworths (Eleanor and Miles) for her death.

Dahlia (Iris) still dates Phoenix since Phoenix and Miles are dummies and have yet to confess their feelings for each other (although Eleanor can tell). Since Mia wasn’t a part of the Dahlia investigation, and since it was handled by a different firm, it didn’t raise any red flags when Phoenix started dating this chick. Phoenix was also in the courthouse library that day because, again, he wanted to go to law school with Miles (subconsciously pulling an Elle Woods).

When the murder of Doug happens, Miles isn’t a lawyer yet since, even though he could have skipped a grade or two, he never did because he didn’t want the increase in social isolation and also didn’t want to get separated from his friends he already had at his grade level. So he’s the same year as Phoenix (senior in college). I think Eleanor would then be the one defending Phoenix (rather than Mia) since she’s also basically a mother to him (he practically lived at the Edgeworth household since his home life wasn’t great, and then he moved in after his mother passed away his senior year of high school. So he’ll call her Mom and such, but he doesn’t refer to Miles as his brother and neither does Eleanor refer to them as brothers since She Knows What They Are [even if they don’t really know yet lmao])

We also figured out that for Turnabout Goodbyes, Eleanor is the one framed for Hammond’s murder since MVK wants to get rid of her as she is still trying to investigate the truth and he can’t have that. Miles has to defend his own mother BUT THEN when Miles starts saying the stuff about how he probably is the one who killed his own father, Eleanor then defends HIM and it’s just…Ough…mother son bonding over murder and death of father 😭😭😭😭

Also yeah lilac did has a small change in design for the au, as long as im drawing charas ghost with buttercups in their hair it only makes sense to add some sort of damage to lilacs ghost

I like to think the scar shifts around a bit depending on emotion
