In today's fast-paced world, GPS tracking systems have become an essential tool for both individuals and businesses. Whether you need to keep an eye on your fleet, ensure the safety of loved ones, or manage your assets, finding the right GPS tracker system is crucial. In Gaya, where transportation and logistics play a vital role, choosing the perfect GPS tracker can significantly enhance efficiency and security. This comprehensive guide will help you navigate the options and find the ideal GPS Tracker system In Gaya.
Understanding GPS Tracking Systems
What is a GPS Tracker?
A GPS tracker is a device that uses the Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine and track its precise location. This data is then transmitted to a remote server or device via cellular or satellite networks. GPS trackers are used in a variety of applications, from vehicle tracking to personal safety and asset management.
How Do GPS Trackers Work?
GPS trackers receive signals from a network of satellites orbiting the Earth. These signals contain time and location data, which the tracker uses to calculate its exact position. The device then transmits this information to a central server, where it can be accessed through a web-based platform or a mobile app. This real-time data allows users to monitor the location and movement of the tracker.
Types of GPS Trackers

Welcome to the Neighborhood
Warnings: non-con, non-idol! College graduate! sunghoon, college reader, ball slamming, noncon smex, unprotected, fear of unwanted pregnancy, reader takes plan b pill, readers house gets broken into, reader is alone for the weekend, fingering, dubcon, noncon turned dubcon…yeah. Do not read if noncon fics make you uncomfortable. Also not proofread and there is cursing.
"its a nice little neighborhood, isn't it sweetheart?"
your mom and dad step out, leading the way up the driveway to the old home. "it's in need of repairs and renovation, but that wont take too long."
your dad was a gifted contractor that knew his way around a tool belt. the man has built homes for all his life, seeing a project this minor was almost laughable to him. the eye catcher of the property was the heavily wooded surroundings, acres of it. "your mother and i saw this and we just fell in love. here, we can put a nice flower garden for you right here."
you look at the small patch of cleared space that was nicely located across the dining room. with only one neighbor in sight, the rest of the homes were behind the trees, leaving the property secluded with loads of privacy. "its nice." you spoke softly as you admire the entire landscape.
the house was the complete opposite from the land piece, to say the least. it was in dire need of renovation; no doubt your dad will have it good as new in no time.
"since we still have to move everything from the old house, you can stay here and continue to go to school as you housesit. your college is only five minutes away."
you looked confused for only a moment, but was reassured of the safety features in the property after expressing concern of staying back alone.
"the property line has a gate with a security system. the house has a separate alarm, just don't forget to set it."
that week, you and your parents bonded over take out and dining over cardboard boxes. it all seems rustic, but you enjoyed the closeness it brought you three.
......
"well be back in two days, call us if anything happens."
your parents make the long fourteen hour drive to continue the preparations of the old home. you felt a sense of liberation hit as you grew excited of having an entire home all to yourself, regardless that it was a total construction zone.
you spent majority of the day fixing up your floral garden, before calling it a night. with dirt smeared everywhere, you immediately ran the hot water in the shower, not taking a moment of thought to secure the system prior to undressing.
the water felt amazing, and you took your time to enjoy and savor it. lost in the sensation of the soft water drops pouring over your skin, a click of the door is followed by a smooth swing as someone enters the home, all without alerting you.
the intruder swiftly enters, and closes the door. he blends in the shadow and makes his way to the hall, taking his place to hide in the close across your room.
you dry yourself off while humming a tune. once you started to pat dry your hair, you realized...
"Shoot....i should have armed the system before my shower."
quickly, you leave your wet hair plastered onto your skin as you wrap the towel over your body. quickly, you head over ot the front door and enter the code on the security pad. a series of beeps is followed by the intercom system that tells you the system has been armed. in order to open the doors, the code must be added, sealing the protection knowing that whoever breaks in, cannot escape once the police arrives.
you go back to your room, completely unaware that a pair of sharp eyes admired you from a distance. the way your skin glistened from the water, while the strands of your hair surrounded your shoulders made him think of mermaids and sirens. you were so lovely in his eyes...too lovely. he had to have you.
you stood in the center of the bedroom, preparing to discard the towel and change, when suddenly the power goes out. "shit..."
you cling onto the towel as you look around for your phone. fortunately, the peering moonlight peeking through the window was bright enough to light the entire room with a soft glare, making it easy to find your device. "there you are...."
You pick it up and set the flashlight on.
Scanning the area, you hold the light steady as you make your way to the main breaker in the garage. Down the stairs you go, slowly tip toeing while clenching the towel to your chest. You reach the area of the living room; only a simple couch furnished the area as the rest of it remained in tatters and gutted for renovation prep.
A creaky snap coming from the staircase behind startles you, infiltrating a jagged sense of fear rushing through you. A frightening yelp escapes your lips and you drop the phone.
The screen faces down, leaving the light to glow the entire room. Despite the dim lighting present, you didn’t see anything that would have caused the noise. Your breath becomes shaky. As you bend your knees, lowering your weight to pick up your phone, another sound emerges, a footstep.
“Who’s there?!” You shout. Heart pounding through flesh and cartilage as you abandon the act of garnishing the phone. Leaving it behind, you step away until the back end of the couch blocks your path. “Get out…I’ve called the police.”
Steadying your voice, you attempt to instill a confident tone in hopes that the intruder would be fooled by your bluff.
Silence replaces the wooden squeaks of the floorboard, signifying that the uninvited visitor halted their impeding steps. You slowly turn, doing your best to clear the entire room using a combination of night vision and the dim light source twelve feet away. When suddenly:
“Did you now?”
A deep voice responds directly behind. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the only thing that challenged your fibbing words. A pair of strong hands reach around and harshly squeeze your waist, fingers crossing over your bellybutton. A large frame pushes against you from behind, and a pointed nose makes its way to the noon of your neck, shoving against your jawline while a pair of plush lips tenderly kisses the smooth canvas of skin under your chin. “Sooomethiiing tells me you d-i-d-n-t.”
He carries a rhythmic tone as he playfully sang the words to a nursery rhymed beat. It was similar to the singing games children would hum out while playing, in fact it reminded you of “London Bridge is Falling Down.”
“It’s okay baby. I’m not mad at you for lying. It’s kind of cute.”
He antagonizes you with his hallow words as his hands drift upwards, smoothing over the curves of your breasts before gripping the edge of the towel. “No! Stop!” You yell upon feeling the fabric being pulled down, exposing your most vulnerable assets. Your hands shoot up, attempting to cover your breasts while cupping your womanhood. “Shh.” He hushes against your ear as he grabs on to both your wrists. “What are you covering up for? Nervous, baby?”
He kisses your ear and nibbles your lobe. You start to sob hysterically as the man remains hidden behind, his face unidentifiable. The only thing you had go off of was the smooth sound of his deep and alluring voice. Despite feeling uncomfortable and beyond scared, you couldn’t help but internally admit that a small piece of you melted each time he spoke.
“Please…d-don’t-“ your whimpering only fueled his desire. He wanted more.
“‘Don’t’ what? Tell me baby, what is you don’t want me to do?” He licks your neck, tracing the entire outline. “Is it this?”
He immediately follow up his act with a sickening tender kiss atop your collar bone. The warmth from his chin resting along the curve of your inner shoulder eased your discomfort, as much as you hated to acknowledge it. “What about this?” His fingers drag down, rubbing circles on your clit, stimulating regions of flesh that you never knew existed.
“Is it this, baby? Is this what you don’t want?” His lips latch onto your neck as his free hand pinches and plays with your nipple. “Or is it this?” His offensive fingers push your clit inwards and slide down, right inside your cavity with no preparation or warning. He thrusts them in and out a few times, forcing your muscles to secrete a natural lubricant that allowed him to go in and out faster…and faster.
“D-don’t! Stop! Please!”
Your whimpers inherit a subtle moaning sense as the feeling of his fingers violating your body. The stinging burn wears off and a foreign sensation takes place inside you. You melt begging for him to stop, only to hear him scoff handsomely as he notices you rocking your hips back and forth, yearning for him to go in deeper. You’re in disbelief and ashamed. How can your body respond this way when your heart and soul wants him to stop?
“You like that, baby?”
You moan out pitifully as your hands attempt to peel his fingers off, but you were too weak from the spectacle going down in between your legs. Your legs begin to shake as you barely pull his index off, only for him to chuckle against your cheek. “Yeah you do.”
He answers for you in a confident tone but not at all cocky. It was almost loving in the way he was serenading you. “Let’s see how good of a girl you are.”
Your eyes widen, a stark contrast from their squinting form since you were relishing the feeling of being penetrated and massaged from the inside. His sense of gentleness takes a sudden turn, and the fearful tremble returns upon feeling him push you forward, forcing you to bend over the couch. “Fucking perfect, aren’t you?” He breathes out as he grips the undercarriage of your rear end, and cups your breast while pushing himself in to you.
Your hair drapes over your cheeks while his rough hands explore your nude body. An attempt to retract your bent position is suddenly halted as he pushes you back down, gripping the side of your waist. “Tsk-tsk.”
He smacks his teeth as he reaches around your face, gently tapping the tip of your nose with his finger.
The sound of his belt unbuckling triggered you to sob hysterically once more. “Please don’t do this…I-I don’t want this. Please I’ll do anything.”
“Oh I know.” He lures out so sympathetically as he traced the tip of his shaft along your clit. “Believe me baby, I know you’ll do anything…and don’t worry, you will.”
A painful rage of heat and friction takes place as he squeezes himself inside. Your legs shake ferociously as he barely burrows the first inch or two in you. Your body grows limp and collapses against the couch from the pain, it weakened you. His hips push in while his hands lift you back up, forcing you to arch your back as he presses his palms down on your lower back. “Deep breath.” He says through heavy breathing. Pushing the extension of his length in, he goes in more, breaking you. “Almost there…fuck.” He gasps.
Your vaginal walls grow incredibly numb as a result of the shock, and you lay bent over whimpering in pain as his balls kisses your taint, indicating he made it all the way in, to your most dreadful horror.
He pauses for a second. There was no relief, even with him pulling out, the sting from the thought friction of his muscle rubbing outward was just as bad as him entering. With his bulging tip remaining inside, he takes secondary pause as he adjusts his grip around your hips. A punch makes impact inside your gut as he rams back in. It felt as if he went much deeper than before. You scream from the shock of the act occurring, not just from the pain. There was nothing slow about his rhythm, he fucked you relentlessly in a brutal manner, it was animalistic.
A handful of strokes in, and you started to feel different. The pain subsided as did the numbness. There was a new feeling that formulated inside your walls, a tingling sense that felt good. Too good.
Your body bounces forward as he repeats his thrusts, going in faster and harder each time. You bite your lip, trying your best to suppress the pleasurable moan lying dormant in your throat. Don’t let him know that you’re starting to enjoy this. Don’t let him find out. Don’t let him…
Your mouth drools as you absorb each thrust. A snowball effect takes place deep inside you. It was a tightening band of pressure that continuously grew, to the point where it was on the verge of exploding. It felt so good. It sounded so good. The way his thick and lengthy shaft re-enters. The quenching sounds of your fluids mixing together and being shoved inside as he pounds away, slamming the firm sacks and mashing them against your taint, damn near bruising it.
He digs his fingers into your skin and picks up the pace. A hand grips onto your pelvis, and that’s what did you in. “Oh God!”
Hearing your moan in ecstatic pleasure excited him, you could hear it through his voice under heavy and deep gasps. “Yeah? Does it feel good baby.”
A prolonged moan of “oooh” is drawn from you as he maintains his momentum. “Pretty girl loves to be fucked?”
You nod as you pant your moans out. His vigor was taking your breath away, and even though you felt it hard to breathe, it was the most powerful feeling you’ve ever felt; a burst of pleasure setting off like fireworks. Your toes curl in, and your fingers pinch the cushion as he went in deeper, harder, and faster.
“Gonna let me cum inside this sweet little body?”
Your mind pleaded ‘no’, but your body yearned for him to do his bidding.
“I’ll take that as a yes, my fucking girl.”
You yelp mon out a pitiful ‘no’ as a last attempt, knowing that it wasn’t going to change anything. The damage has already been done. He’s been thrusting for nearly an hour and was still going strong, stretching you open and ruining you for any future prospects of sexual mates.
“Make me cum baby…fuck!”
He clenches his jaw and leans forward, resting his forehead over on the back of your head as he commits slow and hard thrusts, aiming to go in as deep as possible. The warmth of his secreting strings staining your walls was all it took to snap that band, and a wave of intense orgasm rushes through your bloodstream and sends a tingling spark to your toes and fingertips. “Oh-oh my God!!”
You scream out each word, arching your back and lifting your rear end, allowing for his top to slide in deeper as he shoots out the remainder of his seed. “Fuck yeah baby, take it all inside.”
You gulp with an open mouth as you sing out a high pitched moan. Never have you felt something so strong and beautiful. Too bad it had to go down this manner, but right now you didn’t care. The way he gave you an aftermath of kisses, and rubbed his fingers against your skin, it was all so…
“Fucking beautiful.”
He compliments you as he admits a tender kiss to your cheek. “Next time, I’ll take you on a date and then fuck you—and take my time doing it.”
Another kiss lands on your neck. “I just couldn’t help myself tonight. I’ll make it up to you.”
He gently wraps the towel over your body before slyly waking out, not even fazed by the alarm going off as he nonchalantly walks through the front door. You rush over and enter the pin to cease the beeping, gaining the sight of his back. From that you could see, he was tall, and rather well built. You’re not entirely sure how you felt from the whole ordeal. A sense of chaos riddle through as you became torn from being forced into an act of intense sex, grew into enjoying it, and facing the risk of unwanted pregnancy as a reminder of him drops down your thigh. ‘Shit…what have I done?’
………..
A couple of weeks pass, and you never mentioned to anyone about the incident. How could you? It may have started against your will, but something about the pleasure he instilled was unforgettable and addicting. It haunted your dreams, to the point where you awoke to soaked panties and a throbbing pulse of yearning desire. You would think back to that night, thinking about how he fucked you so good. So-so good.
In a way, a part of you had wished you did get pregnant from it. But your rational and realistic sensibility caused you to take your allowance and purchase a Plan-B pill. It was the right thing to do, but God…was it so wrong to want a piece of him inside you?
“Sweetheart, come outside for a moment.”
You walk over to your father’s voice, and met with him outside the front door. “Yes, dad?”
“Sweetheart, this is our neighbor, he lives in the house right outside the fence line, across your flower garden.”
You look over and see the man your father presented. He has the most handsome face you’ve ever seen, and was of great masculine stature. He was dressed in business casual, and looked so damn good with his hands tucked into his slack pockets. He flashes a smile, flaring sharp canines that elude a strong sense of vampirism.
“This is Sunghoon, he graduated from college last year, the same one you’re going to now.”
Your father continues his presentation as you struggled to break your sights away. “It’s nice to meet you, my name is y/n.”
You shyly introduce yourself properly, extending a handshake. He gently takes your palm and shakes it, almost playfully. His thumb rubs the back of your hand as he gives his proper introduction. Your eyes shoot up and you nearly fall as you hear his voice. That voice you could never forget.
You faintly gasp as he smirks, giving you a wink and pulling you in slightly while your parents weren’t looking. Whispering, the warmth of his breath grazes your face—
“Miss me baby?”

“To the student or students who thought it would be funny to steal the distributor cap from my car, please return it now or you will be discovered and expelled,” the principal announces over the intercom system. You smile and shake your head as you pull your locker door open. It was your favorite time of year.
There was a crispness to the air outside and a beautiful golden and auburn tint to the leaves. Pumpkins, skeletons, and ghosts lined the houses in your neighborhood. Mischief was running rampant among your classmates and even a few of the teachers had gotten in on the fun. Today was Halloween.
The final bell had rung for the day and everyone was rushing to leave. You exchange your books, depositing most of them back into your locker. Only one teacher had been cruel enough to actually assign homework over the holiday weekend. You close your locker door and nearly jump out of your skin. The new guy was leaning against the locker next to yours, an almost irresistible smirk spread across his face.
“Can I help you?” You ask, crossing your arms over your chest. He and his brother had moved to your school about a week ago. You could tell automatically he was a “ladies man” but you hadn’t expected to be his first target.
“I’m Dean. You’re Y/N, right?” He asks. You nod your head once, catching a few jealous glares from the girls you had expected him to make his way through. You couldn’t deny he was attractive but you had no desire to become his first conquest at your school. “What are you doing tonight?”
“Straight to the chase, huh?” You ask. He shrugs his shoulders, that cocky smirk still plastered on his face. “I’m taking my little brother trick-or-treating.”
“What a coincidence, I’m taking my little brother out too. Maybe we could take them together,” he says. You let out a laugh and raise an eyebrow at him.
“Isn’t your brother a freshman?” You ask. He nods his head. “Isn’t he a little old to trick-or-treat?”
“Nah, Sammy loves it,” he says. You shake your head, smiling in disbelief. “We’re new to the area and I’m sure you know all the good spots. So, what do you say?” He asks. What do you say? He was pretty cute. And determined. With both your younger brothers with you, nothing could really happen so you couldn’t see the harm in it. You rip a piece of paper from your notebook and quickly jot down your address.
“For your brother’s sake,” you tell him, handing it over to him. “Be there at 5:00.” He smirks as he takes it then winks at you and walks away. You watch him go then shake your head as you turn the other way.
You get home that afternoon and immediately set about getting yourself ready. Your costume was simple, a long red skirt, a white sweater with a big R embroidered on it, a ponytail with a red bow, and some simple white tennis shoes. Your little brother had decided to be Dracula this year so you help him get ready. At 5:00 on the dot, your doorbell rings.
“Y/N!! Your friend from school is here,” your mother calls out to you. You smile at your little brother then bring him downstairs with you. Dean and his brother Sam are standing in the front foyer of your house, looking around in astonishment.
“Didn’t know you were rich,” Dean says. You roll your eyes then look at his brother. He’s wearing a white sheet with two holes cut out for eyes.
“What is that?” You ask, looking at Dean quickly. Dean looks at Sam then back at you and shrugs.
“A ghost?” He asks. You roll your eyes and reach to pull the sheet off of Sam.
“If you were going to force him to come, you could have at least bought him a better costume,” you tell him. Dean frowns and his eyes fall to the ground. The second the words are out of your mouth, you regret them. You’d heard that they were living in the old motel across town which obviously meant they didn’t have a lot of money. “I’m sorry.” Dean shakes his head and looks around your house again. “We’ve actually got some of my older brother’s old costumes down in the basement if you want to find something,” you tell Sam. He glances at Dean then shrugs his shoulders. “Come on.” You take Sam’s hand and pull him through the hall then down into the basement. You find the box and open it, allowing Sam to dig through. “I’m sorry he’s making you do this. We don’t have to if you don’t want to.” Sam shrugs, looking at an old Superman costume.
“I don’t mind. Never really got to do much trick-or-treating before,” he says. You frown, your heart breaking at his words. He glances over at you. “He’s been talking about you a lot.”
“What?” You ask, looking up at him. He shrugs, looking back into the box.
“Dean’s been talking about you. Since the day we started at school. He really likes you,” he says, smiling as he finds another costume. “Can I wear this one?” He asks, holding up a Ghostbusters uniform. You smile at him and nod before showing him the bathroom upstairs. Going back into the foyer, you find Dean standing with his arms crossed.
“Sam said he hasn’t done much trick-or-treating before?” You ask. Anger flashes through Dean’s eyes quickly.
“We don’t need your pity, Y/N,” he says. Your eyes widen and you shake your head.
“No, Dean!! That’s not what this is,” you start. “Okay, maybe a little for Sam but I would actually like to hang out with you tonight while we give Sam a pretty good Halloween. If you still want to.” You bite your lip. Something new crosses Dean’s face, something you said triggering different emotions. He nods and smiles a little. Sam comes down the hall and Dean’s eyes widen before he starts to laugh.
“A Ghostbuster, huh?” He asks. Sam smiles widely and nods. You look between them, missing the joke.
“Alright. Count Dracula, let’s roll,” you call out. Your brother comes running in from the kitchen, a second pillowcase in his hands. He hands it to Sam who looks down at it in amazement.
“We’re gonna get this much candy?” He asks. You laugh and nod.
“Definitely,” you tell him. His eyes light up before the four of you leave the house. Several other families are already out on your street, making their way house to house. Your brother immediately takes the lead, Sam following him closely. You and Dean hang back, awkwardly silent as you stop at the first house.
“So,” Dean says, looking around. He shoves his hands in his pockets then looks over your costume. “What are you?”
“Sandy from Grease,” you tell him, running your hands over the red skirt. You look back to find him smirking again.
“That mean you’re gonna turn into Bad Sandy halfway through the night?” He asks. You throw your head back laughing.
“In your dreams, Winchester,” you tell him before following your brothers to the next house.
“You can count on that,” Dean says. Your cheeks heat up as you stop, watching your brother and Sam run up the stairs of a house.
“So what brings you here?” You ask, looking at him. He shrugs, watching Sam.
“My dad’s job. We move around a lot. Probably won’t be here long,” he tells you. You can’t help the rush of sadness that fills you. Obviously, you didn’t know him well at this point – you barely knew him at all honestly – but you weren’t fond of the idea of him leaving so soon.
“That your way of telling me you aren’t looking for a girlfriend?” You ask, glancing at him. He laughs and shakes his head.
“Just a fact,” he says. You smile at his laughter, watching it shake his whole body.
“Well maybe this time you’ll be able to stay for a while,” you say. He smiles and reaches over, catching your hand in his own. You should probably protest, not wanting to give him the wrong idea, but you don’t mind.
“Maybe,” Dean says, stopping at the fence of another house.
The sun sets slowly, seeming to reflect the beautiful fall colors across the sky. Your little brother and Sam fill their pillowcases before you all make your way to the city park. The community festival is in full swing when you arrive. Your brother and Sam split off, finding people from school to hang out with. Dean points out a group of teenagers by the apple bobbing station. You shake your head and pull him to the far side of the park where it’s more secluded. His arm comes around your waist, holding you close to his side.
“Pretty crazy about the principal’s car, huh?” He asks. You laugh lightly and nod. “Think they’ll catch the guy that did it?” You shake your head and he looks down at you. “Why not?”
“Cause everyone assumes it’s a guy,” you say, smirking up at him. His eyes widen quickly.
“You??” He asks. You smile and shrug, looking out to find your brother. He’s running around chasing a friend dressed as Frankenstein. Dean smiles and shakes his head. “I think I love you,” he says. You laugh and look back at him. “Why’d you do it?”
“He didn’t let us dress up for Halloween today,” you say, shrugging again.
“You’re really into all this, aren’t you?” He asks. You nod, feeling his hand start to rub your side slowly.
“You get to be someone else,” you tell him. He snorts and you look up at him.
“Why would you want to be anyone else? You’ve got everything you could ever want,” He says in disbelief. You smile a little and lay your head against his shoulder.
“Money doesn’t mean everything is always sunshine and rainbows, Dean,” you say. He nods his head slowly.
“I guess not,” he says. You stay this way, his arm wrapped around you tight, for a few minutes. He presses a kiss to the top of you head. “We’ve got some admirers.” You look up and find the group from school watching the two of you closely. You roll your eyes and step out of his arm, taking his hand.
“Let’s give them something to talk about then,” you say, pulling on his hand. He smiles as you lead him away from the crowds of people to a secluded clearing behind some trees. You stop and look up at the sky. “A full moon on Halloween.”
“That’s gotta be a bad omen or something,” Dean says, shaking his head. You turn to face him and wrap your arms around his neck.
“Nah, it’s good luck,” you tell him. He raises an eyebrow, his arms snaking around your waist.
“Is it?” He asks. You smile and stand up, pressing your lips against his. It’s a timid kiss, your lips just barely grazing against his. “Guess it is,” he mumbles, nodding his head. You let out a giggle and look away.
“It’s getting late. I should get my brother home,” you tell him.
“Can I take you out tomorrow night?” He asks, his nose nuzzling your cheek. You look back at him and nod.
“Yes you can,” you tell him. He smiles and moves to kiss you again but you lean away from him, smirking. “Tomorrow night.” He laughs lightly and nods.
“Okay,” he says. You take his hand again and pull him back to the main area. The two of you find your brothers. A quick kiss to his cheek and Dean promises to pick you up at 6:00 the following night.
The next night you put on your favorite dress. You fix your hair and make-up perfectly. 6:00 comes and Dean doesn’t. You wait for nearly an hour before deciding to go over to the motel yourself. Leaving your car running, you step into the main office connected to the string of run down rooms.
“Can I help you?” The man at the counter asks, not looking up. You bite your lip slightly.
“I’m looking for a family. The Winchesters. A man and his two sons,” you tell him. He nods slightly, flipping the page of his newspaper.
“Checked out this morning. Seemed to be in a rush,” he says. You stare at him for a moment then nod. Dean said they wouldn’t be around long. You hadn’t expected them to vanish overnight though. The man glances up at you then sets his paper aside. “Are you Y/N by chance?”
“I – I am,” you tell him, cautiously. He pulls open a drawer and hands you a small yellow envelope.
“One of the boys left this in case you showed up,” he says. You frown and take it before leaving the office. You pull a note out and quickly read it.
Y/N,
I’m so sorry. Dad’s job. We had to leave. Hopefully we’ll see each other again. Until then, wear this for luck.
Dean
You empty the rest of the contents of the envelope into your hand. A delicate silver chain falls out. You look over the necklace and find a tiny full moon charm attached to it. Your finger runs over the charm before you quickly fasten it around your neck. A stray tear slides down your cheek and you wipe at it quickly. You look up at the sky and smile, the full moon shining down on you.

minah and mingyu suddenly turning into parents of 12
WARNINGS: it's been a long time since the last time I've written something. hope you guys like it tho!
masterlist 🩰 requests are opened feedback is always important to me!
Tumblr media
"Five, four, three…"
The yoga instructor's voice was the only thing filling Minah and Mingyu's living room. Minah held her breath as the woman counted, trying to recreate the exact position she was teaching.
After the accident, Minah found the wonderful world of online workouts, and she never had to bother about going to the gym again. Not when she could do all that in her living room, not having to interact with other humans but her boyfriend, peacefully sleeping upstairs.
"Okay, now take a deep breath. And now, let it go." Minah did as the instructor said. "That's it for today, everyone. Our next class…"
Minah didn't wait for the video to end to turn off the TV, sitting on her couch and closing her eyes, feeling her muscles and her body racing post-workout. Oh, how she loved being alive.
She took her time there, just enjoying the silence, before deciding it was time for her to wake Mingyu up and get something to eat.
She was in the middle of the hallway when her intercom started ringing. Minah frowned. She didn't invite anyone, and Mingyu would probably warn her if he had. She turned around and headed to the kitchen.
Before even looking closely, Minah recognised who it was.
"Gosh…" she mumbled. Taking the intercom off the hook, Minah answered before anything. "Come in."
It didn't take two minutes before the door slammed open, and twelve men entered the apartment.
"Jesus, I'm so hungry." Dokyeom said, heading straight to the kitchen. He stopped before Minah and gave her a quick kiss on her cheek. "Hi, mom."
Minah lightly slapped his shoulder, making the boys laugh.
In less than a minute, her apartment was looking like a playground.
Seungcheol, Dokyeom and Jeonghan were in the kitchen, looking for something to eat. Joshua, Wonwoo, Jihoon and Minghao turned the TV on again and searched for a game to play, already deciding the pairs. Chan and Seungkwan waved at her and just laid on the couch. Minah made a mental note to brag with Mingyu about her perfect couch choice.
"Okay," she said. "who's gonna tell me what happened?"
"We were bored." Hansol showed up on her side, devouring one of her chocolate sundaes.
"And we missed you." Sooyoung said, trying to add a reason.
"Actually, our AC system broke." Jun whispered at her, heading to one of the guests' bedrooms.
"Hyung!" the men groaned together.
Minah laughed at their reaction.
Somehow, Minah can't even keep a straight face next to them. It always felt like she was in high school again, especially with the younger ones. She noticed Hayun wasn't there.
"Where's Hayun, by the way?"
"No comments on that." Seungcheol said without looking away from the oven, and she understood Hayun was probably sleeping in someone else's house.
"I'm gonna wake Mingyu." she announced, leaving the living room.
"No!" twelve voices echoed together, making her laugh.
"Why waking him up? He's so peaceful while he's asleep." Chan said with a forced smile on his face.
"The house is so quiet. Listen. " Jihoo said, making a signal for them to be quiet. "You can even listen to the birds."
Minah scoffed and shook her head, heading to the hallway leading to her bedroom. Mingyu had already talked to them about showing up without warning.
When she opened the door and got into the bedroom, she wished they were alone. Mingyu was in the same position she left him earlier, and she just wanted to take a quick shower and cuddle him again.
But a loud noise from the kitchen followed by a 'Dokyeom!' made Mingyu sit on the bed.
"What's happening?" he said, before even opening his eyes.
Minah chuckled and sat close to him, pulling him closer in a quick kiss.
"Hi, baby. We have guests." she said, watching Mingyu's sleeping face turning into a confused one, pulling Minah into a hug.
It took Mingyu a few seconds to fully understand what she meant, now rolling his eyes and making Minah laugh.
"I can't believe they did it again." he mumbled against her hair.
"Yes, honey. They did." Minah told him, letting go of his arms. "I'll be waiting for you so we can decide what to eat. We didn't go to the market yesterday, and we don't have enough food for all of us."
"I'll be out in a minute." Mingyu said, getting up and heading to their shared bathroom.
A loud noise from the kitchen made Minah leave the room and go back to the living room to check what happened.
"Oh, they have some good beers here…" Chan said.
Minah was about to tell him to drink some when she felt Mingyu's hand on her shoulder.
"Good morning, guys." he said, making the boys turn their attention to him.
"Oh, look at our Sleeping Beauty!" Soonyoung said, kidding and hugging Mingyu.
"Morning?" Wonwoo said, checking his watch. "It's almost noon, Mingyu-ah."
"Oh, that explains why Seungkwan and Chan are already on their third bottle of soju." Mingyu answered, watching his members toasting one more shot of soju. "Whatever," he shook his head. "we're ordering some pizzas, if you want to stay for dinner."
The boys tsked together and started mumbling.
"I'd love to stay, but I forgot my wallet." Seungcheol said, palming his pockets, trying to sound convincing.
"Me too." Dokyeom said, doing the same thing.
"Me t-"
Before Jihoo could say the same thing, Mingyu interrupted him.
"I'll pay." he told them.
Minah had never seen 12 grown men as happy as the 12 men inside her apartment at that moment. They started to cheer and mock Mingyu, thanking him, and that made her give an honest laugh.
"I'm going to call the girls and invite them over." she told Mingyu, who nodded and gave her a quick kiss on her cheek before she left to get her phone.
"Finally Mingyu hyung is going to open his wallet!" Hansol joked.
"Should we order some more beers, then? And then we can stop at some ice cream shop, and then we can buy some chocolate-" Chan asked.
Before Chan could finish his sentence, Mingyu threw a pillow at him, making the boys burst out.

Over the 7 Seas
Ch.2
Tumblr media
Charles Leclerc x Reader
Author’s Note: We’re still getting there. Couple more chapters and then the man himself will show up.
“Now boarding: Flight number 2784”, the intercom resounded through the airport.
Clad in a comfortable blue sweatpant and top duo, you began making your way to the boarding line. The anticipation and nerves were killing you. This was the first time you’d be traveling solo, having grown up in a household that was moderately protective of you and your younger sister.
“Welcome to AiFrance, Maam, I hope you enjoy this flight”, the flight attendant said. You smiled in return, mumbling a quick “Of course, thank you very much”.
As the flight prepared for takeoff, you quickly tapped through your Duolingo app and the documents you had saved from your French classes in high school. Of course, you had no doubt in your abilities with the language, but surely there were differences in dialect and region, especially since you weren’t planning on going to Paris, but a southern region named Nice. One could never be too sure what to expect right?
This wasn’t unusual. From the time you could perceive language, you had been inclined toward learning languages. Of course, you began with your mother tongue, Bengali, then English, so you could succeed in the American school system, and soon after, French, Korean, Spanish, Hindi, Italian, and so on.
Sometimes it was strange, being able to understand what the people around you were saying. It almost felt like you were intruding. And do, you kept this hobby of yours under covers, hidden away from the public.
As soon as the plane was in the air, you switched everything off and leaned back, doing the most possible to relax and get some sleep.

every time you do a new batfam post it’s like the universe for it expands EXPONENTIALLY in my mind. Like first off the fact that like this is an actual mansion crossed my mind. Also at the fact that Damien has chickens, he has to have a place to house the chickens, which suggests and most MASSIVE backyard imaginable? perhaps? At least someplace outdoors to keep them. And as well the INTERCOMS?!?! They just hear everything batsis is doin, always? I talk to myself all the time AND I laugh at jokes in my head AND I make weird noises to myself 😭💀💀 Also for the thing where it’s like ‘no matter how old the batsis is the youngest’ maybe it’s a basis of like. Damien might be 13 but he’s got the (general) maturity, intellect, and knowledge of gotham to make him older then batsis. Which is so funny in my mind to think about cause it’s true but I would be like! I’m 22!! I’m older and they’re like alright lil sis do this simple math problem from elementary school and i’d fold. I do have the maturity of a 22 year old but damien rlly be out here makin me feel like I’m 17 to 14 on the maturity scale :,,,). Idk if I misinterpreted some of this but I just think it’s funny to thing about nonetheless.
- ✨
Batsib: I'm an ADULT. I deserve AUTONOMY.
Bruce: Can you explain how the country's legislative system works?
Batsib: ... um.
Bruce: What's 23-7?
Batsib: ..............
Bruce: ... Do you want Italian or Chinese for dinner?
Batsib: Italian
I love your brain ✨ anon. It's true that Damian grows up to have a farm. I built it myself. He would also bring the chickens inside when it's too cold. Damian is the only person who can maintain an air of arrogance even when he's sweeping up chicken poop.

What is Ableism?
Here are 10 examples (that I’ve experienced or witnessed, as a physically disabled person) that have nothing to do with using the “Wrong Words,” or being mean:
In countdown style, but really, no particular order:
10) Strangers asking “innocent” questions, such as: “How do you go to the bathroom?” or “Do you sleep in a bed?” as openers to conversation
9) Caregivers, teachers, therapists, etc. controlling, and limiting, access to someone’s Augmented Assistive Communication technology
8) Not being allowed, as a wheelchair user, to sit next to the fire exit, because you’ll block other people’s escape
7) On a period drama on TV: the entire street has been dressed up to look right, with building facades, and lampposts accurate to the period, but no one has taken the time to disguise the wheelchair access curb cuts.
6) The city’s art museum has a grand staircase for its main entrance; If you use a wheelchair, you have to use a small door with a ramp off the back parking lot. The door is kept locked, and you have to use an intercom to call someone to unlock it, and then wait. The intercom speaker is at the height for a standing person.
5) Wait staff at a restaurant asking the normate person at the table with you what you want to eat.
4) If your wheelchair or other assistive tech breaks down, the only business allowed to fix it is the business you purchased it from. If that establishment has gone out of business, or if you have moved to a different city, you’ll have to call up your insurance company, and negotiate something (good luck!)
3) Medicare and Medicaid only paying for assistive tech if you need it for “daily activities” inside your home. “Daily activities” are limited to: Eating (but not cooking), “Toileting” (bathing and using the toilet), and transferring to and from your bed. Holding down a job outside your home, caring for children, participating in your neighborhood events, escaping your home in case of a fire, are not considered “daily activities,” and thus anything you need for those things is not covered.
2) [This happened to an online friend, years ago, who has since erased themselves from online] Emigrating to Canada for a job promotion, selling your home in the U.S., converting all your savings to Canadian dollars, only to be told you’ll never be granted citizenship, because your daughter has Down Syndrome, and will be too big a burden on their health system (The U.S and many European countries have similar policies)
1) [This was reported to me by my aide, whose other client at the time was a boy with a C.P. attending his local public school] A school policy that said that all students with an Individual Education Plan must ride to school on a segregated bus, even if they don’t need the wheelchair lift, and they enter the school through a separate door, and wait for the first bell in a separate room (but they’re following the ADA, right? ‘Cause they’re teaching the kids in the same school!)

Chapter Six: Market Stepmommy
Conner waited for Barbara to let him past the security system, and he followed her directions to the kitchen, where Jason scrambled to make their sandwiches. “Hey, Jason?” Conner asked. Jason froze in place, staring up at Conner. “How hard did you fall?”
“Oh, not hard. I have nerve damage. Like today isn’t a bad pain day, but it’s a numbness day,” Jason explained, “It’s funny how a few hits to the head can do a lot to your body in the long run.”
“Sports?” Conner asked.
“Not exactly,” Jason replied as he finished making breakfast. “Gromit, here, buddy. Thanks for the pick me up this morning.” He fed Gromit two slices of bacon and washed his hands. Gromit brushed his face against Jason’s ankle. “I love you too, Gromit.”
“Food smells great,” Conner replied as Jason gave him his plate.
“Thanks… Barbara! Food’s done!” Jason hollered.
“Why are you yelling? Just use the intercom,” Barbara complained as she entered the room. “Hi, Baby Boy, watch out,” Barbara whispered as Gromit walked past her, proudly chewing his treat.
“Oh, Barbara. Conner thought you were my stepmom,” Jason chuckled.
“I would never date Bruce, though… That’d be gross, but I might start telling women at the grocery store that you’re my son. Do you think that works the same way it does for cute babies in sitcoms? How about it, Jason? Do you wanna help me find you a new stepmommy?” Barbara joked.
"I thought you were talking to that computer guy?" Jason asked.
"I can't have a backup plan? Besides, what if you don't like your future stepdad—?"
"Eww, okay. This joke is getting gross. Conner, she isn't my stepmom, she's a friend of the family. We wouldn't know what to do without her. Hey, Barbara, could you get Conner into school with me?" Jason asked as he took three pill bottles from Gromit's backpack. Conner watched as Jason washed his pills down with half a bottle of water.
"Mhm, I'll have him enrolled by Sunday night," Barbara answered.
Conner looked up from his sandwich. "Whoa, you guys were serious? That's—. Wow. Thank you," Conner smiled.
"It was easy. Don't worry about it. Do me a favor and make sure these two get outdoors,” Barbara requested, “And we’ll call it even.” Conner chuckled and nodded.
“Jason, where do you like to hang out?” Conner asked.
“I haven’t been to the museum in a while,” Jason replied, “Oh, and there’s this place called The Sewer, and they play live music sometimes. But it’s only cool at nighttime…” Jason looked at Barbara with wide eyes.
“I’ll watch Gromit while you hit the teen club tonight, but only because he’s great at keeping me company. How about it, Gromit? Do you want to work with Auntie Barbara tonight?” Barbara asked as she scratched under Gromit’s chin.
“Nothing too dangerous,” Jason warned her. Barbara nodded. “Does anybody want another sandwich? I’ve got a bunch of leftover bacon.”
“Please,” Barbara replied. Conner nodded along with her.
After breakfast, Jason let Conner go to his room with him while he got ready to go out. “Thanks for coming over. Are you gonna spend the night after The Sewer or—? Sorry, I haven’t been out and about a whole lot, so I’m excited to have somebody to hang out with—.”
“It’s okay. I don’t mind. I don’t have anyone normal like you to hang out with, so it’s nice to be able to chill with you,” Conner smiled. Jason threw on one of Bruce’s old beat-up flannels and pulled on his pants. Conner laid back and stretched out on Jason’s bed. “What’s it like living with Bruce Wayne? Is he like your dad or something?”
“Yeah, he is my dad. I love him a lot, but he’s got this weird vendetta against you because he thinks you’re gonna hurt Superman or something,” Jason confessed, “Which is why he can never know you’re Superboy. He’d flip his lid if he knew we were friends.”
Conner turned on his side and grinned at Jason. “So, we’re friends?” Conner asked.
Jason’s cheeks went rosy. “Shut up,” Jason giggled without meaning to. “We can do whatever you want between the museum and The Sewer tonight.”
“What is The Sewer exactly?” Conner questioned.
“It’s a nightclub for teens. After eight, it’s sixteen and up,” Jason replied, “I snuck in once when I was eleven… But I haven’t been able to get in since.”
Conner chuckled. “I’m sorry. I’m not—. Well, I kind of—. I imagined a tinier you in a nightclub moshing with teenagers,” Conner laughed. Jason snickered, and it built into a full-body laugh that left him doubled over.
“Oh, it was terrible,” Jason laughed, “I got tossed around like a ragdoll.” Conner and Jason laughed until tears rolled down their cheeks.
“I would’ve given anything to be a real kid,” Conner mumbled. Jason stopped laughing.
“You are a real kid,” Jason replied. Conner smiled and shook his head.
“I’m a science project being passed off as a kid,” Conner replied, “You don’t have to be nice about it. I know what I am—.”
“Clone or no clone, you’re a regular sixteen-year-old kid to me—. No, you’re better than most sixteen-year-old kids. You’re empathetic. You’re not judgmental. You’re funny. You’re friendly—. I mean—. I’m glad you were made in a lab because that’s what it took for me to get a friend like you,” Jason stated. Conner smiled.
“Thanks, Jason,” Conner whispered, “Hey, do you like fast cars?”
“Do ducks fly south for the winter?” Jason replied. Conner laughed.
“How ‘bout I take you flying on the way home tonight?” Conner suggested.
"Yeah, I'd love it, but my chair—."
"I can carry the chair too. Just fold it up. What do you say?" Conner asked. Jason nodded, his mouth open at the thought of flying. "It'll be fun. I promise."
Barbara knocked on the door. "No curfew tonight. It’s Saturday, and I think the chances of you two getting arrested are slim to none,” Barbara whispered.
Jason’s phone rang. “Oh! Hold on, it’s my dad. Mind if I take this?” Jason asked. Conner shook his head. “Hi, Bruce. Everything okay from abroad?”
“Mhm… I miss you,” Bruce whispered, “I don’t think I’ll be home this week, though… Jason, are you alright with Barbara until I get home?”
“Mhm… Are you gonna—? When are you and Alfred coming home? Do you have any idea?” Jason asked. A loud wind blew on Bruce’s end.
“It’ll be at least a week… Hopefully no more than a month, Jason—.”
“Is it dangerous?” Jason asked. Conner heard Jason’s pulse pick up speed.
“No more than the usual… I love you, Jason,” Bruce whispered.
“I love you too… Bruce? Um… If you’re in trouble—. Can you have Alfred write me or call me if something happens?” Jason asked.
“Uh-huh… Jason, are you alright?” Bruce questioned.
“Yeah… I just—. I’m hanging out with my friend tonight, so I might not answer my phone,” Jason replied.
“Okay… Be good, and feel free to call me if you need something,” Bruce whispered, “I gotta go.”
“Bye, D—. Bye, Bruce,” Jason whispered. He hung up and dropped his phone in his lap. “Okay. Ready to go?” Jason smiled, but there was no hiding his discomfort.

Another guest, another request! I mean, this one was directly inspired by the last one I think, but I did deviate... Mainly because by the time I started writing it I was too far gone to realise I may be doing it wrong. Oh well! Hope I did alright anyway
Tumblr media
Early January. The week before school was about to be set everyone back into their routine, Pete had plans. He'd bought a whole new notebook, and he'd had the idea for a brilliant new start to a campaign, one that he just had to share with Richie and Trevor as soon as possible. It was going to be huge.
Or rather, it would've been.
The notebook sat open on the first page. His pen was at least out of the cup he'd been using to hold them, but not a word had been written. Mainly because Pete had woken up feeling worse for wear.
At first, it had been fine. Just a headache, and he thought that the cloud in his vision was because he hadn't put on his glasses. But when that didn't change, he realised exactly what was going on. This was beause of the day before, wasn't it?
He sighed, flopping back onto his bed. Of all the things to happen on winter break, it was just his luck that his already shitty immune system had decided to screw him over something chronic. On today of all days. The day he finally got a good idea.
He found the strength to grab his phone, knowing that he'd made plans in some capacity. At least he wasn't going to bail on them on purpose, or make them believe that he was...
Pete:
Hey guys, we had plans today, right?
Ruth:
Uhh... Yeah? We were going skating?
Why, who are you leaving us for??? :0
Pete:
I'm not! I can literally barely see!
Ruth:
You break your glasses?
Richie:
they were fine yesterday...
Pete:
No, I'm not doing so well
I think, when it snowed yesterday, it fucked everything...
Snowball fight probably didn't help tbh
Ruth:
:(
Richie:
that sucks! ugh it's always when we wanna do something fun!
Pete:
You guys can still go! I'm not stopping you!
Have fun without me
Richie:
dont die on us. or else.
Pete huffed a breath of laughter. His friends did always know how to bring the best out of a situation, didn't they?
The moment he put his phone down, he got another text. Typical really, that the action tended only to happen when he was ready to give it up for the time being. He picked it up again, adjusting his glasses like that would help the pain behind his eyes.
Richie:
shit, wait
was that our fault?
By the time Pete opened his phone, Richie was typing again. He watched the three bubbles move across his screen, deciding not to say anything until Richie got out what needed to be said.
Richie:
you said the snowball fight, yeah? did we get you sick?
Ruth and Richie had ganged up on him, which was really funny at first, because he was still winning over both of them even with the disadvantage. Richie couldn't aim worth his life, and while Ruth could, she always made it glaringly obvious whenever she was about to attack, which totally defeated the purpose.
He'd paid for that victory with this impressive fever, that was for sure.
Pete:
Don't say it like that, it's fine!
Richie:
sorry!!!
Pete knew the reason why, of course. As soon as he was old enough to understand the word diabetic, he knew why. He had a terrible immune system because of that. So really, he'd brought it upon himself by initiating the fight in the first place...
Pete:
Seriously! Don't worry!
He heard the sound of the buzzer for the front door. Part of him was willing to pretend that he didn't hear it at all, but the voice that followed made him force himself out of bed.
"Pete? You still there? You said you were going out today, right? ... Shit, I probably missed him-"
The walk to the buzzer felt way longer than usual, what with the hallway spinning every time he tried to take a step. When he finally got there, he leaned against the wall, supporting himself as he reached for the intercom button. "What's up, Ted?" Before he spoke, he hadn't realised how strained his voice would sound, but he didn't know what else he was expecting.
"Jesus, kid, what happened to you?"
"I dunno what you're talking about."
"You sound dead."
"Yeah, real nice... Anyway, what d'you want?"
"Left my wallet. Are you gonna let me in, or..?"
Pete sighed and buzzed him in. He hadn't taken his keys on purpose because he'd known that Pete was going to be in after he left and before he came back, so in his head, he didn't need them.
While he was up and active, Pete decided that now was as good a time as any to grab a snack, fix himself a drink, and do everything he was supposed to have done hours ago. He ambled into the kitchen, cursing himself for waking up at ten thirty, because now he was behind in the day, and he was lagged as hell.
Ted strolled in through the door as he was raiding the fridge. His wallet was on the countertop, and as soon as he figured that out, he also managed to grasp the situation at hand. Pete barely looked awake, and he was still in his pyjamas, which was unusual for him at this time of the day.
That, paired with the way he'd sounded when he answered the door led to a little concern. Ted's brow creased, and he looked his brother up and down. "Uh... You sure you're okay over there?" He looked well and truly washed out, paler than he'd looked since... A few years back, when he'd made the stupid decision to walk to Ted's apartment from their parents' in the freezing cold, and had been caught in a freak blizzard on the way.
Hadn't it snowed yesterday as well?
Pete frowned, his mind not able to run fast enough to come up with an excuse on the fly. And he could make a fair assumption of how bad he looked based on how he felt, so he pretty much knew that Ted had already drew his own conclusions as to what was going on. He wasn't stupid.
So, Pete sighed, drawing his gaze to a more comfortable position that didn't hurt to uphold. "I'm fine, it's just- we were caught in the snow yesterday, and the three of us had this snowball fight, and... Well, I think I got this fever from it. But it's fine, really, I-"
Ted's face softened, and he pressed his lips into a fine line. "Did you at least win the fight?"
"Huh?"
"Did you win that snowball fight?"
Caught completely off guard, Pete laughed softly. "Uh, yeah, I think I did."
"Who against?"
"Ruth and Richie?"
Ted shook his head slowly. "It wasn't worth it. You look like shit." Still, all thoughts of his wallet discarded, he took a step closer and laid a hand on Pete's shoulder. "How about I pick up lunch?"
"What about the office?"
"Fuck the office, man. They don't need me. Besides, d'you just expect me to let you look after yourself all day?"

STORY BEAT; 𝑀𝑖𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑂𝑛𝑒.
“Osterholz  speaking,”  the  grim-faced  director  of  Site-φ  intones,  his  index  finger  lifting  off  a  button  on  the  intercom  system  built  into  his  large  desk.  The  square  device  is  an  abnormal  growth  on  the  bright  walnut  wood,  abstractly  toy-like  in  its  retro  curves  and  pops  of  teal  plastic  against  steel.
“Already?  According  to  the  reports,  some  of  MTF  Chi-00  haven’t  done  Combat  Assessments.”
Anyone  who  would  be  foolish  to  eavesdrop  on  the  Director’s  conversation  would  find  themselves  listening  in  on  a  one-sided  conversation.  Half  of  the  audio  is  seemingly  void  of  observable  sound.  The  Foundation  isn’t  one  so  easily  spied  on,  certainly  not  for  a  project  of  this  substantial  caliber.  Cognitohazards,  like  poisons,  have  beneficial  uses  as  well.
The  Director  shrugs  back  into  his  office  chair,  the  single  comfortable  thing  in  the  suite.  Buckley  Osterholz  is  a  hardy  man,  but  his  husband  Evan’s  insistence  on  an  ergonomic  chair  convinced  him  to  reconsider  the  long  nights  at  the  office.
(You’re  not  getting  any  younger,  Buckley.  Please  get  the  chair  for  me?)
Director  Osterholz  hasn’t  seen  Evan  in  years.
Osterholz  leans  forward  in  his  chair,  irked  by  the  Voice  That  Cannot  Be  Heard.  Damn  data-pushing  bureaucrats.  His  thick  mustache  waggles  as  he  schools  himself  into  indifference.
The  Director  replies  to  the  provocation,  “My  reasoning  is  you’re  not  really  giving  your  Golden  Boy  a  chance  here  to  prep  his  team,  and  yet  you  still  want — my  apologies,  it  wasn’t  my  intention to — that won’t be necessary.  I  understand  my  position  in  Operation:  THEMIS.  I’m  just not sure  that —  Hm.  Alright.  Understood. A  helicopter  will  be  readied  by  the  thirtieth.  When  can  I  expect  my  Communications  Department  to  receive  files  from  Headquarters?”
In  48  hours.
Osterholz  withholds  a  sigh.  With  decades  of  experience  commanding  Mobile  Task  Forces,  he  knows  when  something  is  grossly  underprepared.  If  Themis  hadn’t  taken  the  position  seriously  now,  they  would  have  to  learn  on  the  job.  He  just  hated  that  the  lesson  was  to  survive.
“Right,”  the  Director  says,  “I’ll  contact  𝑆𝑚𝑜𝑜𝑡ℎ  𝑂𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑜𝑟  and  Chi-00.”
He  reaches  over  and  clicks  the  button  again,  the  leftmost  in  a  row  of  five  on  the  intercom  system’s  panel.  Silence.  Absolute  silence  this  time  around.  Osterholz  finally  sighs,  slow  and  low.
(Deep  breaths,  Buckley,  deep  breaths.  You  know  what  the  Doc  said  about  your  blood  pressure.)
The  Director  unclips  his  pager  and  sends  a  mass  text  to  the  members  of  MTF  Chi-00.
𝕄𝕚𝕤𝕤𝕚𝕠𝕟  𝕓𝕣𝕚𝕖𝕗𝕚𝕟𝕘  𝕠𝕟  𝕄𝕒𝕣𝕔𝕙  𝟚𝟠  𝕒𝕥  𝟘𝟡𝟘𝟘.  𝕄𝕒𝕚𝕟  𝔹𝕒𝕤𝕖  𝟚𝔽.  𝕀  𝕨𝕚𝕝𝕝  𝕓𝕖  𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣𝕖  𝕥𝕠  𝕠𝕓𝕤𝕖𝕣𝕧𝕖.  -  𝕆.
He  sends  another  to  the  Mobile  Task  Force  Commander,  sympathizing  with  the  arduous  task  at  hand.
𝕀𝕥'𝕤  𝕤𝕙𝕠𝕨𝕥𝕚𝕞𝕖.  ℝ𝕖𝕙𝕖𝕒𝕣𝕤𝕒𝕝'𝕤  𝕠𝕧𝕖𝕣.  -  𝕆.

School Continues to Make my Blood Boil
When I was a little goody-two-shoes seven-year-old I was friends with a lot of the "bad" kids. Usually, they got in trouble for not being able to focus, or being too loud, or moving too much. Which is dumb (they probably just had adhd). And then, they were scrutinized and excluded, and labeled as "the bad kids" even though they were really nice. This just pushed them to be worse. To give in. I really wished there was something I could do, but I was 7.
I remember I was sent to go pick up one of my "bad" friends from a teacher's classroom because he wasn't allowed to go to recess. I stood in the doorway, trying to get his attention by saying his name, but the teacher (who still works there, years later) yelled at me for interrupting her class. Scared the shit out of little me. I didn't go back after that.
I remember seeing that same "bad" friend stab himself in the forehead with a participation medal he got from karate class.
I never really saw him after that. I would still hear his name get called on the intercom, but we never got to talk again. I wonder how he's doing now.
I've had a lot of friends who've had ADHD, and seeing them struggle makes me so angry. The school system has failed them.
I feel like, school, from a young age, has made us forget that people, even if they deviate from the normal, are still people. Witnessing this, in real time, has made me realize how bad schools are when it comes to reinforcing conformity and perpetuating ableism.
People at my school make jokes saying the r-slur or making fun of sped kids or saying things in a "sped voice" and hitting their chests all the time. Hell, even a teacher did that today. They don't deserve this.

how does miss delight remember the player?
miss delight tells you over the intercom that she remembers you. Specifically, she says you worked there. So here's another theory: based off the information on how the employee system worked at Playtime, people worked in specific areas. For example, if you worked in innovation then you'd be in that section of the giant factory. So then how exactly would she have met you? Maybe we actually worked in the orphanage. But it could also be that we were an orphan who eventually chooses to work somewhere by the school. We know it's possible because some of the workers in the adoption side of things admitted that they loved living there. I could be wrong but I think we definitely had a big part in this factory before the hour of joy.
