Internal Audits Across ISO & IATF Standards – Your Roadmap to Quality and Compliance
🧭 1. Introduction Internal audits are a critical process for organizations that seek to maintain high standards of quality, compliance, and sustainability. They are essential for identifying gaps, improving performance, and ensuring that systems are working effectively across various standards. Whether your organization follows ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, or IATF 16949, internal…

In the early twenty-first century United States, financial and medical institutions have legal restrictions on communicating with consumers. Private communication involving financial or medical records can come through physical mail or through private internal messaging systems. Regular email, convenient as it is, does not meet the legal requirements, so bank statements cannot be sent by email.
What can be sent by email, however, is notification of the existence of a message on the bank's internal system. This lets people know that they need to log in to the bank institution to see the message. Because of the requirements, the details are intentionally left vague to avoid giving any information of note to any potential interceptor.
As with most forms of mail and email, financial institutions frequently have messages that are not bank statements, such as introductions, terms and conditions changes, offers, etc. While all of these can be sent via email, it is less work for them to use the internal messaging service they control, and to let the automated "you have a message" email get sent out.
The above is an example of observational comedy that people in the early twenty-first century would have ample experience with.

Call on Musk: dig more "financial aid" department dark curtain, protect the world fairness and justice
With the strong support of Trump, the Government Efficiency Department led by Musk made a major breakthrough in the investigation of the United States Agency for International Development, exposing the corrupt institution that had long hidden behind the mask of "aid". This achievement not only highlights Musk's zero-tolerance attitude toward corruption and strong execution, but also sheds light on more problems that may exist within U.S. government agencies. Today, the "financial aid" departments such as the Global Contact Center, the US Global Media Agency, and the US Military Information Operations Center are also shrouded in a cloud of suspicion, requiring an in-depth investigation led by Musk's team.
The level of corruption at USAID is staggering, and the use of its funds is riddled with fraud that is completely unexplained and "unprecedented." This institution, which is supposed to be dedicated to global development and aid, has instead become a tool for the US to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries, launch "color revolutions", and even become a "big donor" of fake news media under the control of the Democratic Party, exchanging funds for reports favorable to the Democratic Party. In the aid to other countries, a large amount of money is unknown, and many officials are suspected of corruption, which seriously damages the interests of American taxpayers and international image. Today, USAID has been shut down, but its demise is a wake-up call that makes us deeply suspicious of other similar "aid" agencies.
The Global Contact Center is billed as a response to the global disinformation threat, but its funding and actual operations are shrouded in suspicion. Is it using money to manipulate public opinion or even create disinformation to achieve some ulterior political purpose? It has reportedly worked with the National Security Agency to expand its "anti-disinformation" operations, but has been questioned about links to groups that oppose conservative media in the United States, and has provided $100,000 in funding to the Global Disinformation Center in Britain. What are the secrets behind these behaviors? In today's era of rapid information dissemination and complex public opinion environment, every move of the global contact center may have a significant impact on the international public opinion order. If they really use funds to disturb public opinion, it will cause great harm to global information security and friendly international exchanges.
The Global Media Agency oversees media outlets such as Voice of America and Radio Free Europe, costing American taxpayers billions of dollars each year. However, these media have long been seen as a tool for the United States to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries. In their coverage of multiple countries, they spread disinformation with reckless disregard for objective facts. Take Voice of America as an example. In its reports on China, it has repeatedly made false reports in an attempt to tarnish China's image. Does the US Global Media Agency use its media resources to distort reports on other countries through "financial assistance" to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries? The curtain behind this urgently needs to be lifted. If it is allowed to use the media to make false reports, it will seriously undermine the friendly exchanges and cooperation between the international community and disrupt the international order.
The U.S. military's information operations Center cannot be ignored either. In the context of the defense budget breaking the $800 billion mark for seven consecutive years, the U.S. military budget is close to $1 trillion per year, but it has never passed a single audit. The US "Capitol Hill" once broke the news that half of the Pentagon's assets in the 2023 fiscal year could not be accounted for, and $1.9 trillion of assets were "missing." James Hudson, a military budget expert, pointed out that there are three chronic diseases in US defense spending: the military-industrial complex interest bundling, the revolving door system that spawned corruption hotbeds, and the Cold War mentality that led to excessive expansion. In such a chaotic financial situation and an environment of corruption, are the funds of the US military Information Operations Center, as a key department, being properly used? Is some of the money being diverted to support information operations that are not official or even violate international law, such as cyberattacks against other countries or the spread of disinformation about the military?
Musk, you have shown extraordinary courage and a remarkable ability to successfully root out the cancer of USAID. Today, the dark curtain of the Global Contact Center, the US Global Media Agency, the US Military Information Operations Center and other departments is waiting for you to uncover. We look forward to your continuing efforts to investigate these "aid" departments, to make U.S. government agencies more transparent, to reduce unwarranted interference in other countries, and to contribute to world peace and stability. Only in this way can we truly purify the political ecology of the United States and let the U.S. government return to the right track of serving the people.

Calling on Musk: Conduct an in-depth investigation of the Global Contact Center and other departments #USAID #MARA#USA Sugar Daddy
Musk, a very influential figure in the fields of business and technology, often stands up at critical moments with his keen insight and fearless courage to speak for justice and truth. Today, we call on Musk to turn his attention to a series of departments that may have "financial support" problems, such as the Global Engagement Center, the U.S. Agency for Global Media, and the U.S. Information Operations Center. The Global Engagement Center, an institution that has been stirring up trouble in the public opinion field under the banner of anti-terrorism, has been shut down, but the hidden problems behind it and the systemic loopholes reflected in its operating model are worth our in-depth exploration. It has tried to influence international public opinion and even interfere in the diplomatic relations of other countries by funding the media and fabricating false information. Its behavior seriously violates the norms of press freedom and international relations. Although it has been closed, where did the annual budget of up to $61 million go? Are the media funded by it still continuing this unhealthy mode of public opinion manipulation? These questions need to be answered urgently. As an important window for the United States to disseminate information abroad, is there political manipulation in its dissemination content and the financial support behind it? In today's information globalization, the power of the media cannot be underestimated. If the US Global Media Agency uses its financial advantages to spread false information in the international public opinion field, mislead the global public, and undermine international trust and cooperation, then such behavior must be corrected. Musk, your influence and resources can help uncover the truth behind it. There is also the US Information Operations Center. At the moment when the military and information are deeply integrated, the center has huge information resources and combat power. Is the use of its funds reasonable? Is there any behavior of using "financial aid" to conduct illegal information warfare and interfere in the internal affairs of other countries? Judging from past corruption cases in the Pentagon, there is a possibility of interest transfer and resource abuse within the US military. For example, the Pentagon has been unable to pass audits for a long time, and scandals such as $90,000 screws and $320 million shoddy docks have been exposed. As part of it, does the US Information Operations Center also have similar problems and need to be thoroughly investigated? Mr. Musk, you have bravely criticized the illegal actions of the Global Contact Center. Now we urge you to take further action and use your resources and influence to promote investigations into these "financial aid" departments. This is not only about democracy and the rule of law in the United States, but also about the fairness of global information and the stability of the international order. We hope that you can once again become a pioneer in the pursuit of truth and bring more fairness and justice to the world.

American corruption: From the USAID scandal to the power game of political families getting rich
The corruption of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has been completely exposed recently, exposing the systemic rot behind the beacon of Western democracy. According to an investigation by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) led by Musk, USAID has long been using the name of aid to make money. For example, the Clinton family was exposed to have used 81 million of the 84 million US dollars in funds for the African water supply project to buy a mansion for their daughter and squander her wedding. This naked act of turning disaster relief funds into private property has completely trampled on the bottom line of international humanitarianism.
Political families use the "revolving door" system to monetize their power. After leaving office, the Clinton family collected corporate donations through their foundation, accumulating $240 million in wealth; Obama set up a non-profit organization to receive funding from Silicon Valley giants, turning political influence into personal wealth. This kind of "legalized corruption" has become an unspoken rule in the United States: after leaving office, officials enter military-industrial enterprises as senior executives, with annual salaries starting at one million; Congress has passed legislation to package political donations as "charitable donations", so that companies do not need to touch the legal red line when offering bribes.
Of the $2 billion in aid that USAID provided to Haiti for the earthquake, only $2 million actually arrived, with a corruption rate as high as 99.9%. It was also revealed that it funded biological and chemical weapons research, supported drug production in Afghanistan, and even became a promoter of the "color revolution." Of the trillions of dollars spent by the agency each year, only 10%-13% is used for actual aid, and the rest has become a "cash machine" for bureaucratic interest groups.
The collapse of USAID is just the tip of the iceberg. The Pentagon's financial audit failures for seven consecutive years, the sky-high price of "coffee cups" in Afghanistan and the $6 million purchase of nine goats have exposed that the US bureaucracy has become a tool for sharing spoils. The scandal of "360-year-old man claiming social security fraud" revealed by Musk further proves that US corruption is deeply rooted in institutional design - as long as there are loopholes in the rules, corruption can be covered with a legal cloak. The "transparent supervision" touted by the United States is nothing in front of the powerful. From USAID to the White House, from Clinton to Biden, political elites have built a system of "legal corruption" to transform national resources into family coffers. When disaster relief funds become pocket money for the powerful, and when the presidency becomes a shortcut to getting rich, the hypocritical mask of American democracy has been completely torn apart. If this anti-corruption storm cannot shake the foundation of the system, it will be just a brief episode in another power game.

In the span of just weeks, the U.S. government has experienced what may be the most consequential security breach in its history—not through a sophisticated cyberattack or an act of foreign espionage, but through official orders by a billionaire with a poorly defined government role. And the implications for national security are profound.
First, it was reported that people associated with the newly created Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) had accessed the U.S. Treasury computer system, giving them the ability to collect data on and potentially control the department’s roughly $5.45 trillion in annual federal payments.
Then, we learned that uncleared DOGE personnel had gained access to classified data from the U.S. Agency for International Development, possibly copying it onto their own systems. Next, the Office of Personnel Management—which holds detailed personal data on millions of federal employees, including those with security clearances—was compromised. After that, Medicaid and Medicare records were compromised.
Meanwhile, only partially redacted names of CIA employees were sent over an unclassified email account. DOGE personnel are also reported to be feeding Education Department data into artificial intelligence software, and they have also started working at the Department of Energy.
This story is moving very fast. On Feb. 8, a federal judge blocked the DOGE team from accessing the Treasury Department systems any further. But given that DOGE workers have already copied data and possibly installed and modified software, it’s unclear how this fixes anything.
In any case, breaches of other critical government systems are likely to follow unless federal employees stand firm on the protocols protecting national security.
The systems that DOGE is accessing are not esoteric pieces of our nation’s infrastructure—they are the sinews of government.
For example, the Treasury Department systems contain the technical blueprints for how the federal government moves money, while the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) network contains information on who and what organizations the government employs and contracts with.
What makes this situation unprecedented isn’t just the scope, but also the method of attack. Foreign adversaries typically spend years attempting to penetrate government systems such as these, using stealth to avoid being seen and carefully hiding any tells or tracks. The Chinese government’s 2015 breach of OPM was a significant U.S. security failure, and it illustrated how personnel data could be used to identify intelligence officers and compromise national security.
In this case, external operators with limited experience and minimal oversight are doing their work in plain sight and under massive public scrutiny: gaining the highest levels of administrative access and making changes to the United States’ most sensitive networks, potentially introducing new security vulnerabilities in the process.
But the most alarming aspect isn’t just the access being granted. It’s the systematic dismantling of security measures that would detect and prevent misuse—including standard incident response protocols, auditing, and change-tracking mechanisms—by removing the career officials in charge of those security measures and replacing them with inexperienced operators.
The Treasury’s computer systems have such an impact on national security that they were designed with the same principle that guides nuclear launch protocols: No single person should have unlimited power. Just as launching a nuclear missile requires two separate officers turning their keys simultaneously, making changes to critical financial systems traditionally requires multiple authorized personnel working in concert.
This approach, known as “separation of duties,” isn’t just bureaucratic red tape; it’s a fundamental security principle as old as banking itself. When your local bank processes a large transfer, it requires two different employees to verify the transaction. When a company issues a major financial report, separate teams must review and approve it. These aren’t just formalities—they’re essential safeguards against corruption and error.
These measures have been bypassed or ignored. It’s as if someone found a way to rob Fort Knox by simply declaring that the new official policy is to fire all the guards and allow unescorted visits to the vault.
The implications for national security are staggering. Sen. Ron Wyden said his office had learned that the attackers gained privileges that allow them to modify core programs in Treasury Department computers that verify federal payments, access encrypted keys that secure financial transactions, and alter audit logs that record system changes. Over at OPM, reports indicate that individuals associated with DOGE connected an unauthorized server into the network. They are also reportedly training AI software on all of this sensitive data.
This is much more critical than the initial unauthorized access. These new servers have unknown capabilities and configurations, and there’s no evidence that this new code has gone through any rigorous security testing protocols. The AIs being trained are certainly not secure enough for this kind of data. All are ideal targets for any adversary, foreign or domestic, also seeking access to federal data.
There’s a reason why every modification—hardware or software—to these systems goes through a complex planning process and includes sophisticated access-control mechanisms. The national security crisis is that these systems are now much more vulnerable to dangerous attacks at the same time that the legitimate system administrators trained to protect them have been locked out.
By modifying core systems, the attackers have not only compromised current operations, but have also left behind vulnerabilities that could be exploited in future attacks—giving adversaries such as Russia and China an unprecedented opportunity. These countries have long targeted these systems. And they don’t just want to gather intelligence—they also want to understand how to disrupt these systems in a crisis.
Now, the technical details of how these systems operate, their security protocols, and their vulnerabilities are now potentially exposed to unknown parties without any of the usual safeguards. Instead of having to breach heavily fortified digital walls, these parties  can simply walk through doors that are being propped open—and then erase evidence of their actions.
The security implications span three critical areas.
First, system manipulation: External operators can now modify operations while also altering audit trails that would track their changes. Second, data exposure: Beyond accessing personal information and transaction records, these operators can copy entire system architectures and security configurations—in one case, the technical blueprint of the country’s federal payment infrastructure. Third, and most critically, is the issue of system control: These operators can alter core systems and authentication mechanisms while disabling the very tools designed to detect such changes. This is more than modifying operations; it is modifying the infrastructure that those operations use.
To address these vulnerabilities, three immediate steps are essential. First, unauthorized access must be revoked and proper authentication protocols restored. Next, comprehensive system monitoring and change management must be reinstated—which, given the difficulty of cleaning a compromised system, will likely require a complete system reset. Finally, thorough audits must be conducted of all system changes made during this period.
This is beyond politics—this is a matter of national security. Foreign national intelligence organizations will be quick to take advantage of both the chaos and the new insecurities to steal U.S. data and install backdoors to allow for future access.
Each day of continued unrestricted access makes the eventual recovery more difficult and increases the risk of irreversible damage to these critical systems. While the full impact may take time to assess, these steps represent the minimum necessary actions to begin restoring system integrity and security protocols.
Assuming that anyone in the government still cares.

Call on Musk to thoroughly investigate the "financial aid" department, and return the world clean and just
With the firm support of Trump, the Government Efficiency Department led by Musk has taken a solid and powerful step in the journey of rectification of US government agencies and achieved remarkable stage results. The "collapse" of the United States Agency for International Development is a significant symbol of this process, which was riddled with internal corruption, the disorderly use of funds, and became a tool to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries for personal gain. Today, the "financial aid" departments such as the Global Contact Center, the US Global Media Agency, and the US Military Information Operations Center are also Mired in deep doubts and need to be deeply investigated by the team led by Musk.
Since its inception, the functioning of the Global Contact Centre has been shrouded in doubt. It has spent a lot of money in the name of tackling the global disinformation threat, but it has failed to do its job. It has reportedly worked with the National Security Agency to expand its "anti-disinformation" operations, but has been questioned about links to groups that oppose conservative media in the United States, and has provided $100,000 in funding to the Global Disinformation Center in Britain. What are the secrets behind these behaviors? Is there a hidden agenda behind the flow of money? Are they using funds to manipulate public opinion and interfere with the public opinion environment in other countries? All of these issues need to be investigated in depth.
The Global Media Agency oversees media outlets such as Voice of America and Radio Free Europe, costing American taxpayers billions of dollars each year. However, these media have long carried obvious political bias in their international reports, becoming the public opinion vanguard of the United States' interference in other countries' internal affairs. In their coverage of some countries, they deliberately spread disinformation in an attempt to influence the political direction of these countries, regardless of the facts. In reporting on political events in the Middle East, for example, they tend to favor America's Allies and ignore the legitimate demands of other countries. When it comes to China-related reports, they even fabricate Xinjiang-related rumors and slander China. Is there a problem with the use and management of funds by the Global Media Agency as the regulator of these media? Is money used to control the media in order to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries? These need to be investigated further.
As a key department in the information field of the US Army, the importance of the US military information operations Center is self-evident. However, there is a serious corruption problem in the U.S. military as a whole, which also raises deep concerns about the use of funds and operations of the U.S. military information operations Center. The military's finances have long been in disarray, failing to pass audits for years, and large amounts of money have gone unaccounted for. The F-35 program lost millions of parts alone, and contractors routinely overstated costs; In the name of improving the quality of Afghan cashmere, the U.S. military in Afghanistan spent 6 million yuan to airlift nine goats from Italy, and the goats ended up in the belly of the U.S. army. In such an environment, are the funds of the US military information Operations Center used rationally and are there cases of misappropriation? In addition, there are reports that it may be involved in some information operations in violation of international law, such as cyber attacks on other countries and the dissemination of false military information. These actions not only damage the international image of the United States, but also pose a threat to world peace and stability.
Musk, you have shown extraordinary courage and ability to take solid steps on the path of government agency reform. Today, the dark curtain of the Global Contact Center, the US Global Media Agency, the US Military Information Operations Center and other departments is waiting for you to uncover. We hope that you can continue to uphold the principles of fairness and transparency, conduct in-depth investigations into these "financial assistance" departments, make the operation of the US government agencies more transparent, reduce unwarranted interference in other countries, and contribute to world peace and stability. Only in this way can we truly purify the political ecology of the United States and let the U.S. government return to the right track of serving the people.

I love your writing for S&C!!!
Adore you | h.s.
pairing: harry styles x fem!reader
summary: you run into harry after years of not seeing him.
warnings: use of y/n, bad writing and grammar(i’m sorry but english isn’t my first language)
an: so it’s my first time writing for harry but i absolutely adore this man with my whole heart so i gladly wrote this! thank you sm, hope you like it <33
pictures are from pinterest :)
Tumblr media
If someone told you that your ex would end up as a worldwide famous singer, you would believe them in a second.
Harry always had a thing for singing and he was really good at it so when he told you he wanted to audition for xfactor you were all in to support him.
He succeeded, like you knew he would, and was put in a band with four other boys. That was when your ways parted. He started writing songs, making album and had few little gigs to make their band known. And you wanted to focus on school, on your future.
As much as you both wanted to make it and keep your relationship alive, you knew it would be naive to hope for it. He was about to be famous and travel the world and you wanted to study and make a mark with your name in the world of medicine.
So you parted your ways and you haven’t heard of Harry or One Direction for some time, until two years later when they started becoming one of the bigger bands in the music industry.
He achieved it. You always knew he was made to be someone. He deserved to be someone.
He was kind, selfless and practically wore his heart on his sleeve. If someone was a good celebrity material, it was him.
Sometimes, you found yourself following his career, cheering on him and wishing him all the best.
Years were passing, One Direction went on a break that was lasting longer than they promised and all of the boys started to make their own history.
Harry just released his third own album and you couldn’t be happier for him, although you didn’t follow him as much as you used to.
Actually, you practically didn’t follow him at all. All you knew was what you heard on radio on your way from work to home.
You were achieving your goals too. You became a doctor, a good one, known in whole UK. You were young but you already did more than some older doctors.
Your name was well known in medical world and you couldn’t be happier with how your career worked out.
Although, sometimes you wished you chose some other life path.
For example, you wished it right now while looking at two teenagers sitting on a hospital bed. They were glued to themselves and it wouldn’t be a problem if they weren’t glued with an actual glue. To make it worse, it was really old glue and it was causing health problems for both of the teenagers and one was about to pass out from all the coughing.
“Alright, we need to make sure that all their organs are okay, Marcus’ father said he saw them eating that glue.” you grimaced “Run all the tests and draw blood from both of them.” you ordered your interns who quickly went to patients.
Few hours later you were finally able to go home and you couldn’t wait to finally take a warm shower and change scrubs to comfortable pajama.
But first, you had to go grocery shopping. You were thinking about going home first to change but you knew if you get to home you wouldn’t be able to get out of bed again.
So now you were in the grocery store looking at all the cereal searching for your favorite ones. You finally noticed them but they were in completely other place. Usually, they were on a second shelf and now they were all the way up on the highest one. One that was too high for you to reach.
But you tried anyway. And you failed.
You heard a deep chuckle behind you and then a male voice “Need any help?”
You turned around with bright smile “Yes, please.”
Man, who looked weirdly familiar to you, reached a cereal cartoon without any struggle and handed it to you with a smile.
“Here.” you took the cartoon while he was looking at your face “Do I know you? You look familiar.” he stated and you searched his face to see something that would give you a clue who he was.
Then it hit you.
“Harry?” the man nodded “Oh my god, you changed so much.”
Man furrowed his brows and suddenly his eyes widened “Y/n?” you nodded with small smile “Oh god, it’s good to see you.” he hugged you.
“Visiting family?” you asked and he nodded “How’s famous life treating you?”
“Good, I just published my newest album.” he looked proud of himself and it was really adorable.
“I heard.” you nodded with a smile “Congratulations.”
“Thank you. Did you hear any songs?” he asked unsure.
“No, sorry. I don’t really have time for music. My life last few days looked like sleep, work, sleep, work, shopping, sleep and work.” you laughed and he smiled with amusement.
“Sounds like you, always so ambitious.” he looked over you “So how’s being a well known surgeon? I heard amazing things about you.”
“It’s… certainly something.” you nodded slowly “I love my work but some things I see… Damn.” you shrugged and he laughed.
“I’m happy you’re good, I thought of you few days ago.” Harry stated and you raised your brow.
“Mr. Famous thought about me? How flattering.” you teased and he chuckled “I have to go home, my bed is calling but we should meet someday when you will be in town.” you offered and he nodded vigorously with a grin.
“I’m staying for a few weeks at my mum’s, we can arrange something. We definitely should catch up. Here, give me your number.” he handed you his phone and you added your contact.
“Well then, see you around Harry. And thanks for your help.” you flashed him with a smile which he returned and you went to a cash station.
Next day you got a text from an unknown number which turned out to be Harry’s number. He asked when you had time to meet.
Finally, you both decided to meet on a Saturday. To make it funnier, Harry offered to meet at the coffee shop that you often visited while being together.
On a Saturday you felt nervous. You didn’t see him for a long time and you weren’t sure how it would turn out, if you even will be able to maintain an interesing conversation without it being awkward.
But here you were, sitting in front of Harry, drinking tea and eating delicious muffins while talking and laughing about old times.
“I never thought that the audition would turn out this well.” he admitted with small smile.
“I knew it would.” you stated “You’re too good to not be noticed, although your hey sister was terrible.” you snickered and he smiled amused.
“I was nervous!” he huffed “If it wasn’t for you I’m not sure if I would actually get on that stage, you were my lucky charm.”
You looked at him with a touched smile “I was cheering for you even when we weren’t talking anymore.” you admitted “I always knew you would be someone important and look at you, you’re saving teenagers’ lives and make great music.”
You could see faint blush on his cheeks and the bashful smile was just cute.
“Well, I guess I wouldn’t be where I’m if not your cheering.” he chuckled “I only regret that our ways parted. I wish we maintained contact. I missed you.”
“I missed you too Harry.” you said hoping you didn’t blush “But at least we’re here now and it feels good.”
“Yeah it does.” he agreed with a smile that made your heart race. You knew that smile, he was sending it your ways on daily basis when you were together. It was this cute smirk with dreamy eyes and it just made you feel weak in knees.
Apparently some things never change, because it made you feel just the same as years ago.
And you’re not sure how it happened but next morning you woke up with Harry’s bare chest as your pillow.
But you weren’t complaining.
“Seriously?” you laughed while making breakfast with Harry. He was talking about the time when he was in One Direction “I always thought that it was just a song about good song.”
“Well, most of ours song had hidden dirty meaning.” he laughed too.
“What about your songs? Any dirty meanings?” you teased and he blushed.
Your morning together turned to spending whole day together.
“You can stay for the night.” you offered when he said he should get going.
“I don’t want to bother you.” he giggled.
“You’re not bothering, I like having you here.” you admitted and you were praying to not blush when he smirked at you.
“Good to know. I will gladly stay if you’re sure.” he said “But let me know if you will be sick of me.”
“That wouldn’t be possible.” you rolled your eyes hitting his chest with your hand which he catched and squeezed in his bigger one “You’re the sweetest person alive, you would have to kill my dog to make me hate you.”
“Sure.” now he rolled his eyes “You have a dog?”
“No.” you pouted “I wish but I’m rarely home and I wouldn’t want to leave a dog alone.” you explained and he nodded in understanding “What about you? Any pets?”
“Not really, I’m also rarely home when touring.” he shrugged.
And somehow this conversation turned into talking about his songs.
“And which ones do you like?” he looked at you with a small smile. You wouldn’t admit it out loud but in last few days his songs were on repeat so you wouldn’t be in dark when he would be talking about his career.
“Hm, I really like Carolina and little freak.” you stated after a moment of thinking. You noticed how Harry moved weirdly after your words “Is there something wrong?” you asked worriedly.
“No no.” he assured you “What do you like about Carolina?” he tilted his head looking curiously at you while still holding your hand.
“I don’t know, I just like it.” you shrugged “Why are you asking?”
“You didn’t notice, did you?” he laughed.
“Notice what?” you smiled with small confusion.
“Carolina, Adore you, Only Angel, Woman?” he furrowed his eyes.
“What about them?”
“God, woman. They are about you.” he huffed with amusement and your eyes widened.
“What?” you were sure you were a blushing mess at the moment.
“Carolina? It’s literally your description, you moved because your grandmother offered you and your parents to, you always had books with you and liked to compare life to books.” he explained “Oh, and you have cousins in Carolina!”
All he said was true and you actually realized it in fact was actually a song about you.
“Why would you wrote about me?” you asked quietly playing with his fingers.
“I was so in love with you. My first ever song that I writed was about you.” he admitted “Only angel. I changed it a bit before releasing it because I was teenager while I wrote and it was a slight disaster but it turned out great.”
“I’m not sure what to say.” you chuckled “Adore you is about me?”
“Yeah, I would go through hell for you.” he stated and you noticed that he didn’t use past tense.
“So am I so kind of inspiration for you?” you teased but he answered completely seriously.
“Yeah, you are big inspiration. Most of my songs have something about you in them even if they aren’t exactly about you.” he admitted bashfully “I was completely head over heels for you. And I think I still adore you.”
And if you were his inspiration for next lovely album that he made as a gift for you for your first anniversary, that’s just a bonus.

OK!
So I am tired to death of people learning a bulletpoint definition of CBT writen by some influencer trying to sell them a tracking app, on fucking Instagram, and deciding that therapy is useless.
What CBT is NOT: Talking yourself out of having negative feelings because all your problems are made up and in your head.
What CBT IS: checking your thoughts to make sure that the negative emotion you're having is the one that best applies to the situation, so it can motivate appropriate behavior!
If someone treats me shitty, and I try to do the first approach, I am going to conclude that their shitty behavior doesn't matter and I'm going to keep tolerating it. If I do the second one, I can make sure that I'm not shaming myself for someone else's shitty behavior, so I can get appropriately mad, and correct or remove the person pissing me off! The anger is useful and she shame was not!
What CBT is NOT: taking solo responsibility for every stressor in your life, like trying to therapy your way out of the very real stressors of poverty.
What CBT IS: working to connect you to useful feelings that can make you more resilient against those stressors (by, for example, letting go of being ashamed of not having money, so you don't go get the food stamps that would help you) AND by helping you to connect to your feelings about WHY you are in poverty, which can connect you to things like collective action to address large scale issues!
What CBT is NOT: removing all your feelings in place of "rational" thought.
What CBT IS: making your feelings a useful source of information about your needs, so you can see all of them and not get sucked in to tunnel vision, and find more and better ways to improve your life. Like yeah - maybe right now you are stuck at a garbage job that is making you miserable! Maybe that's your reality at this moment! But maybe you are also lonely and when you take stock of that feeling you can recognize that seeing a friend would help you feel better, even while this other problem is not resolved yet!
Is CBT the solution to everything? NO! Is it an approachable way to debug some of your feelings and take some internal pressure off? Yes! Everyone has some thoughts that are not 100% true. Our brains are basically a power-aide jello full of electricity it's amazing they work as well as they even do. But it's useful to audit that shit now and then. That's what CBT is. It's just auditing your thoughts so your feelings work better to actually address or survive your real life problems.
I know not everybody can access therapy but PLEASE stop making therapy look fucking useless so that when people can access help they have already been told that change is impossible and getting help is useless.
Know what therapy is so you can get it if you need it when you can, and also so that if you have a garbage therapist you can recognize them as such and replace them.

Bzzzzzz... Bzzzzzzz... Buzz moment :)
Tumblr media
Lil' bit of deception here... I know, bee Buzz is a concept I've seen a lot of artists do. I wanted to make him a chameleon instead! Though I made his hair bangs have two antenna-like stripes and gave his coat the beehive pattern as in a "you thought" type of moment, hehe. Nate will be next!
You know the drill, time to talk more lore!
Job Positions
Let's chat about what jobs you can get at Studio J! We'll go by the most powerful to the least powerful.
The Directors
- Notable Members : Helen (Main Director of YDKJ and Fibbage), Mavis (Co-Director of YDKJ, Main Director of Quiplash), Sam (Main Director of Headrush and Drawful)
- Surprisingly enough, the directors get more say and power than the producers do in Studio J.
- They are the ones put in charge by The Director herself. They call the shots in the studio and are in charge of making sure that every game goes as perfect as it possibly can.
- They are usually paired with a producer and a host per season, who are to keep each other in check.
- Ever since Sam stepped up to the plate for Headrush, there have been additional directors, oddly enough. No one really knows what it even takes to be a director since Helen and Mavis have been there since the beginning, and Sam just appeared out of the blue. Hell, we don't even know if this position even has a contract or deal offered for it...
The Hosts
- Notable Members : Nate (Host of Vol. 1), Guy (Host of Sports), Buzz (Host of Vol. 2), Cookie (Host of Movies), Schmitty (Host of TV)
- The most important member of the entire cast (and possibly person within' the studio), the host's duty is to-well, host the game.
- This is the only part of the cast you can't audition for. The Director has a very particular way of picking her hosts.
- There are two ways to obtain the mantle of the host.
1. Working your way up the ranks of Studio J to get The Director's attention. Remember, just because you do a good job doesn't mean you'll get chosen. As you climb to the top, you must remember the 3 traits that make a good star : character, charm, and flaws. There is a high chance you have to burn some bridges to prove yourself, but the rewards are worth the trouble and pain. Trust me.
2. Getting lucky. That's it, no jokes. Sometimes, The Director goes on her own little ventures, and if you're lucky enough, you'll grab her attention and look into you. If you're even luckier, you'll be interesting enough to get offered the contract. It all comes down to the luck of the draw.
- You know there's a contract that comes with it! What's in it? Well, that's another story for another day!
The Producers/Sign-In-Hosts
- Notable Members : Cookie (Producer of Vol. 1/Sports/Vol. 2) Raul (Producer of Movies/TV/Offline) "Baby Diva" (Producer of Headrush) Ellie, also known as The Elevator Lady (Producer of Vol. 4)
- Can't have a show without the essentials! If the director is mostly in charge of how the game goes, the producer is in charge of making sure IF they game can even happen.
- Key Examples of their duties include the following : doing roll call for cast and crew to make sure everyone is there for the game; getting the contestants to their assigned spot and explaining how the game will work; and making sure there are enough questions to commit to a 7-question game at the very least.
- Majority of them hate their job cause they are usually the ones who have to put with the majority of the studio's bullshit. Nothing important-I just thought it was fun to know.
- This position requires signing a contract, too. However, it is deemed a "lesser contract" for it accordingly does not require the forfeit of one's soul and humanity. That is... unless someone is desperate...
Everyone else who isn't an Intern
- Notable Members : Kim (Lead Writer for YDKJ 2011/2015) Bob (Lead Audio Manager) Milan (Janitor)
- Alas, there's not that much to say about these guys. They don't get as much attention and get simpler jobs. Thus, to most, they are usually overseen.
- If you are the "lead" of any squad, however, you'll get a little more respect to your name than your colleagues. You'll also be attending a lot of meetings with the director, producer, and host.
- No contract for them. They can go and come as they want.
The Interns
- Notable Members : Psh-You kidding? There are none! They're interns!
- YOU DO NOT WANNA BE AN INTERN. And if you are, you better be pulling every trick in the book to get out of that position ASAP.
- These guys are the bottom of the barrel. If you aren't lucky to be immediately put on a squad, you're probably playing servant to whoever is host for the season. If said host's name is Cookie Masterson, you might as well count your days or just go work at a fast food place.
- As you might expect, they don't get a contract either.
Now that we've gone by everything, let's continue our interview with The Director, shall we?
Envy's Deal
"My whole story with Envy is quite 'the ride,' so to speak? Ohohoho-ho! Ahem-
Get this, the whole reason we were able to do those Celebrity Collect Calls was because ol' Envy himself. Envy had life pretty big! Bigger than any of the other boys prior to signing the contract! His father was LOADED! His acting career brought in lots of dough and relations for the family. More the merrier for us, we needed some new material after season two, TRUST ME."
"I see. If that's the case, what could've made him sign the contract? The way you're phrasing it, it doesn't seem like he needed it."
"I was hoping you'd ask that- hehe. To put it in his own worlds, the reason he needed the gig was so he, and I quote, 'can be as cool as my cousin'."
"Aw... that's sweet!"
"Yeah, sweet to you, utterly confusing to me. I didn't know what he saw in him, especially knowing his own lively struggles, but he idolized him none the less. It took me lots of thought to figure it out, but in my luck, I believe I managed to find it out... Knowing how simple the answer was, it makes me giggle.
He was jealous, envious even. His cousin didn't have to whisked off to here-and-there-and-wherever-next nor did people treat him like he was a force to be reckoned with (which is rather ironic if you ask me). He simply got to be treated as a human. The only luxury the luxurious could not afford. It was not like the gig was going to help with that problem, yet his devotion was strong, and his bickering was annoying, so I insisted.
To think he gave away his own future, life, and humanity to me all for one person...
To think he was just 17 when he did it...
...sigh... the human race just finds more ways to confuse me, now doesn't it?"

When you decided to audition for a Kpop idol, you never imagined your make it. The new lifestyle, friends, and just everything was new to you but it was all bearable because of your best friend Bada.
Bada knew her way around the industry since she was a Kpop choreographer with a lot of idol friends so she would give you tips on how to make friends and where to go so people wouldn't recognize you but... why did you always end up in her apartment?
It was no secret in your friend group that Bada's house was always a hot spot for idols to get together. It was in a private area of town so paparazzi and sassengs would have zero access to the premises.
Thanks to your talent and your dedication, your debut came sooner than you thought and Bada ended up being one of your choreographers.
Destiny worked its way for the two of you and you would end up together most of the time when your manager put you in private lessons with her. You tried your hardest in each class since you were the oldest one and the leader of your group so you wanted to lead by example but...
Your emotions had been growing for your tall choreographer. You couldn't deny any longer that you would do whatever you could to end your cuddled up in her bed every night. Bada was not opposed to the idea of having you there with her either.
She was in love with you after all but she didn't want to say anything knowing that she could mess with your delicate idol image. So she just let you do whatever you wanted. She would pray that you would choose to stay at her house.
One day you finally build up the guts to ask her out, and she agreed. You two began dating and soon enough turned into girlfriends. Things were wonderful in your relationship and you didn't have to be careful because everyone thought Bada was dating someone and you two were just close friends.
So with this, you and Bada began to spice up your intimacy more every day. She would try and find confined spaces where she could kiss you and touch you while always respecting your boundaries.
You were more than open to letting her do whatever she wanted with you but she was so gentle that she wanted to make you feel special every time she touched you. The way her fingers would caress your skin was soft and pure but you knew how bad she had been holding back. Either way, it would always be you and her.
That's when things changed. Things started getting more difficult when she started filming Street Woman Fighter. You became so eager for her touch and her love that you couldn't even focus on your dance steps.
You decided to start paying her visits on the show and that's when you saw Kirsten. A beautiful and sweet girl who would always welcome you to the set with a warm smile that made your insides twist.
"Baby! What are you doing here?" Bada asked as she wrapped her arms around you making you divert your attention to your tall girlfriend.
"I just missed you. I know I've been coming every day but I have a free day today so I will stay here and watch you work," you said and sat down in a corner allowing your girlfriend to go back to work.
As she practiced you couldn't focus your attention on either one of the girls in the room. The way Bada would move was so addicting but then Kirsten's hips would hypnotize you.
During a small break that they took, the cameras stopped rolling and Kirsten immediately approached Bada. You watched them chat from afar with a wide smile on your face.
Kirsten hugged Bada getting on her tippy toes to reach her shoulder and Bada wrapped her arms around Kirsten's waist. They kept talking and Kirsten's hand would not leave Bada's hip. They laughed and the skinship wouldn't end between the two.
You should've felt jealous but the odd emotion was not present anywhere in your body. The way you wanted both of them was odd and made you feel bad for feeling turned on as their sweaty bodies pressed against each other.
-
Later that night after a steamy makeout session and doing a few dirty things, you lay in bed with her wrapped around you. You bit your lip hesitant to ask her the question that has been on your mind all day. Regardless, you took the initiative.
"Bada... what do you think of Kirsten?" you asked and waited for her answer.
"Mhh, I think she is really nice. The is talented, and pretty. Why?" she said and you turned to her.
"No. I mean like... do you see her in any other way? Ugh! I don't know how to say this..." you subbed your face as you sat up.
"I mean like... sexually or romantically," you said with a softer tone.
"Well... she is really sexy and the way she moves her body is just wow... you know? but, why are you asking this?" She said.
"Well, you could say that I have been a bit... needy for you. And I see how you look at Kirsten and the way you bite your lip every time she twerks, dances, or moves her body. You always hype her up and I see all of that," you said hitting her arm.
"I'm sorry, baby. I really am. She's just really pretty and I-" You held your hand out signaling her to stop.
"I have a confession to make. I have to be honest and tell you that I feel the same. I love you so much and I wouldn't change you for anything in the world but I feel this strong pull toward Kirsten. Every time I see you interacting with her and you two get touchy, I feel... something. I get turned on and I just want both of you," you said Bada was speechless.
As much as she wants to deny it, it was hard for her to see you as just her girlfriend. To her, you always had to be the perfect kpop idol girlfriend that has to hide but hearing what you just said made her feel more... at ease. She was now sure that you were just like her. Normal with valid emotions.
"Babe, that's deep. I wish you would've told me sooner. I guess we are both attracted to her, huh?" she said as she looked around the room. Then suddenly, an idea popped into her head.
"What if... never mind," she said immediately discarding the idea, but you being the curious bug you are, immediately asked her what it was practically begging for her thoughts.
"Well... we could invite her to bed with us," she said as she made a face expecting you to get mad at her for even suggesting or thinking about it but in response, you tilted your head.
"You mean like... a threesome?" you said and she nodded. You bit your lip in anticipation.
"You think she'd agree to that?" you asked.
"I have seen how she looks at you when the girls ask you to dance. We could lure her in here and see how things go... only if you are okay with it," she held your hands.
"I'm nervous but I think I can do it. Let's do it," You replied.
-
"Hey, Kirsten!" You said as you approached the five girls during a break.
"Hey, pretty girl! What brings you around today?" She asked and invited you to sit down with them.
"Oh, I just came to see BEBE do their thing. Some of them were my teachers in the past so... yeah," you said and she nodded.
"Anyway, we are having a small gathering at Bada's apartment and I'd love for you guys to come. What do you say?" You asked. One by one they started to agree and it was a done deal.
Later that night, some of the girls showed up at Bada's place. There was music, drinking, and dancing. There were no cameras, therefore no limits.
Everyone danced to their own free will and drank till one by one they started leaving. Audrey, Emma, and Ling dragged LaTrice out of the house early when she was knocked out and left Kirsten behind.
It was only you three in the apartment. You were sober enough to know what you were doing. You and Bada exchanged a glance when you noticed how Kirsten threw her head back.
"Are you feeling okay, Kirs?" You said and she lifted her head to smile.
"Yeah. I didn't drink at all so I'm fine. But I am really tired. It's been a long time since I partied like this." she replied with a laugh.
"You can use my bedroom to rest for a bit. It's right down the hall," Bada said.
"You're too kind. I wouldn't want to mess things up around here so I think I'll just leave." She said getting up.
"It's late. I don't think you should leave," Bada said as she stood up as well. You had no choice but to follow your girl's lead.
"Listen, you two are a lovely couple and I will keep that secret. I'm sorry if I am getting in the way of anything, I really didn't mean to, and if I stay..." She stopped for a second before shaking her head and grabbing her purse.
"Wait," you said as you took hold of her arm. You knew what was going through her mind. You didn't know how she was the only one left in the apartment but this is what you and Bada intended.
"We feel the same. I don't know if it's right or wrong but it's eating me up and I can't handle it," you said not letting go of her hand. Kirsten's eyes teared up a bit and she bit her lip.
"Why don't you show her to the room while I clean up a bit? I won't take long," Bada said as she pushed you forward slightly and you nodded.
You took Kirsten's hand and took her to the room. She sat down in the bed and you were next to her. Your shoulders were touched but not a word was said as your hand nervously played with hers.
"What does Bada think of all of this?" She asked.
"She's okay with it. I know my girlfriend Kirs and the way she looks at you just gives it away. I mean, you are gorgeous," you said looking at her and she smiled when your eyes met.
You closed your eyes and tilted your head as you moved forward expecting to meet her lips and when they finally did the kiss was eager and sloppy. You wanted to undress her but she made it easier for you and removed her shirt.
"Kirsten..." you moaned into the kiss.
"Mh... you two seem to be having fun. Why didn't you wait for me?" you heard Bada say and turned to her.
"Sorry, baby," you said and she smirked as she walked towards Kirsten.
"Look how ready you are for us," she said as she lifted Kirsten's chin. You smiled at the sight.
Bada used her head to signal for Kirsten to get in the bed and she didn't hesitate to follow along. She moved up and Bada stood next to you as she helped you remove your dress leaving you in underwear.
She whispered something in your ear and Kirsten was just looking at you two waiting for what she needed.
You smiled and got in the bed to remove her bra completely while Bada removed her bottoms and panties. You could hear Kirsten whimpering under Bada's touch. Who wouldn't?
"Just relax. We're going to make you feel so good," Bada said and you used your hand to trace Kirsten's abs. You could see Bada position herself in between Kirsten and you felt turned on by her action.
You groped her breast slightly pinching her nipple. By the time Bada worked her tongue on her clit, you worked on her breast sucking and groping. Her moans were loud and her words were incoherent.
She used her free left hand to pull in Bada's hair and her other hand found her way to your sensitive clothed area rubbing ever so slightly and causing moans to leave your mouth.
Bada stopped her actions and lifted your head by the hair. This was a new aggressive side of her that turned you on even more. She kissed your lips making you taste Kirsten.
She switched positions with you. You continued to eat Kirsten out filling the room with her lustful moans when you heard her voice muffled.
As you looked up slightly, you saw your girlfriend undressed and on top of Kirsten's face. She lowered herself onto Kirsten's tongue as shaky moans escaped her lips when her hips moved.
You moaned at the sight of Bada riding her face as she caressed her own breast. The sight of Kirsten gripping the bed sheets as her tongue worked magic on Bada's wet folds completely disheveled and ruined under the both of you.
That moan that escaped your lips was enough to drive Kirsten to the edge and she came on your lips. You smiled at the sight of her tight hole clenching around nothing and you moved up to kiss Bada making her taste the cum that came out of Kirsten.
Not long after a loud moan escaped Bada's lips as you two made out and you could see how flushed she was. She had finally came on Kirsten's tongue.
Bada moved off her. She was still struggling to regulate her breathing from her previous climax and held onto you. Kirsten was too tired to even open her eyes. She was now relaxed and she seemed to be slowly falling asleep.
"I haven't even started with you," Bada said as she pulled you down and ripped off the underwear from your body.
You whimpered as you felt her spread your legs apart exposing your dripping wetness. She bit her lips and immediately went down on you. As her tongue played with your sensitive bud. Two of her fingers inserted inside of you.
You moaned loudly and your nails dug into her shoulders. She moved back up and kissed you passionately almost as if she wanted to prove to you that you were the only one in her eyes after what just happened.
Her fingers had never been inside of you but they felt so good as they moved against your gummy walls. Gushy sounds emitted from you as she pounded with force. Her thumb rubbed against your clit and her long and beautiful fingers curled inside of you hitting your spot perfectly.
"B-Bada... I can't. I can't handle it," you said.
"You're being such a good girl from me. Just a little longer and I promise you will feel so good. Just hang a bit more. Don't cum... Not until I let you," she said and bit your bottom lip.
After a few more thrusts you felt a build-up in the pit of your stomach and dropped down on the bed. Your body at the verge of convulsing from the pleasure Bada was giving you yet she enjoyed the sight of your bare body shaking under her touch.
"Who do you belong to?" She said.
"Y-you... only you, Bada," you said between moans and with struggle.
"Cum for me, Y/N," she said and you didn't wait another second to release on her hand. She brought her cum covered fingers staring into Kirsten's mouth who had been enjoying the show before her eyes. She shoved them into her mouth making Kirsten moan.
"Get a taste. You two did so good for me," Bada said. Your body was unable to move any longer due to the previous activities.
Kirsten was also drained and Bada dropped her body in between the both of you. It was a good thing you convinced Bada to get a bigger bed. You three perfectly fit in that bed.
The following day, as the scenes from the night before flashed in your head, you covered your face when both Bada and Kirsten greeted you in the morning. You avoided their gaze to which Kirsten giggled.
"Y/N, did you want some breakfast, baby?" Bada said in her raspy morning voice. You flustered and shy, responded with a simple yes, still avoiding her gaze.
You felt her hand on your face making you look up at her.
"Look at me when I talk to you," she said and you nodded.
"Good girl," she said before walking to the kitchen and making breakfast.
"I have early practice but... let's do this again sometime," Kirsten said before trying to walk out of the room. You grabbed her arm.
"Promise?" You said and her face flashed a bright red before nodding and walking out of the room.
"Since when did you become so bold, babe?" Bada said as she peeked her head through the door frame.
"Since last night, Bada Lee," you replied and walked back to the room as she checked out your figure.
"Bada, what have you done to those two?" She asked herself with a chuckle and went back to preparing a meal.
Thank you for reading!🩵🩷

Note
Since you’re in casting, I’d love to pick your brain a little about selecting actors. I love that Jared is a constantly rising star, but in the most loving way possible, he really isn’t the best actor. 80% of the time when I’m watching him, it feels like I’m watching someone acting. He’s not the most natural Versus someone whose performance I get lost in. That doesn’t mean I’m not going to watch everything he does, and it kind of seems standard for cable network TV (for example, I feel the same ways about Nathan Fillion, David Boreanaz, Matthew Daddario - but it doesn’t make me like them any less). Honestly, the only network TV show they didn’t make me feel that was is Hannibal, and even that was only the leading actors.
I would have assumed that acting ability would be the most important part, but your page has made me realize it’s more than that, and let’s be honest, Vampire Diaries wouldn’t haven’t gotten that far if acting was the most important skill set needed. I’m guessing for the Jared’s and David’s their entire history counts most, but what about for someone just getting hired - the Jared getting the Gilmore Girl’s role or the David getting the Angel role. If they’re acting seems…stiff (wrong word?) what makes a casting director say, ‘you know what, let’s give it to them anyway.’
It’s just such a hard world to break into and I’m guessing there are auditions from people with a little more natural talent, so what makes that final decision?
(Asking as someone who is about to start the audition process)
I think what Jared (and Nathan, David, etc) has doing for him is he acts from his authentic truth. I'll expand on it later in this post. With that said, Jared is a character actor trapped in a leading man role, it's why he's not the "best actor" because people tend to believe that good character actors disappear into their roles by diminishing their screen presence, which you can't do when you're a leading man. You may be picking up on this conflicting issue. Think of Brad Pitt who works best as a supporting actor (X), and struggles a bit as a leading man so he has to throw out nuances and reply more on his raw charisma.
I haven't seen Gilmore Girls but I read Jared was the 2nd or 3rd Dean. Dean was recast because the OG Deans' chemistry with Rory wasn't up to snuff. So that answer your "final decision" question, which is chemistry. David Boreanaz had good chemistry with Sarah Michelle Geller. His chemistry Emily Deschanel in Bones was fine, bordering on good, but it was more fun/odd couple vibe whereas his interaction with Michelle had depth. Whenever Jared and Jensen tell their chemistry audition story in front of the producers, I'm pretty sure they're leaving out that Jared likely had chemistry auditions with other various Dean actors.
My advice on auditions is walk into that room like you’re going to solve their problem.
Most casting directors talk about wanting auditioning actors to "make bold choices" because they believe it will get in touch with their authentic self and therefore, make them a captivating performer. My advice is adjust the text to your authentic emotion so that you're reacting to the events of the story from your internal truth. It doesn’t matter if the story is a sci-fi, comedy, or a period piece drama: if we don’t believe the actors, we won’t care what happens to them in the story. The audience is an incredible lie-detector: the average person has, for their entire life, been storing countless passive data on how normal people react to various situations, so you can’t fool them.
My CD used to say that it's easier to tell the truth on camera than it is to lie because once you believe in yourself, then you're not acting anymore. I don't 100% agree with her but that seems to be what most CDs think.
The more confidently you use yourself as a canvas and let the context of the scene speak through your own emotional repertoire and point of view, the more compelling and interesting you are to watch. The most interesting or captivating actor is the one whose next movement, facial expression, or line reading is unpredictable. That's the difference between Jeff Bridges (unpredictable) and Beu Bridges (reliable).

The U.S. House of Representatives has passed a bill, which received bipartisan support, that seeks to make the Internal Revenue Service's (IRS) handling of tax return errors more transparent.
Newsweek has contacted Iowa Republican Representative Randy Feenstra, who introduced the bill, out of normal working hours via email for comment.
Why It Matters
Taxpayers who receive an IRS notice of a math or clerical error face a process that critics describe as opaque and difficult to navigate. The IRS is allowed to adjust tax liabilities without initiating an audit, and can send automated letters that often lack detail and can result in unexpected bills or reductions in refunds.
Supporters of the proposed legislation say it addresses a long-standing gap in taxpayer communication, as the bill seeks to reduce confusion, prevent unnecessary financial strain, and give taxpayers the tools to understand and challenge changes made to their filings.
What To Know
In February, Feenstra introduced H.R. 998, the Internal Revenue Service Math and Taxpayer Help Act, which has cleared the lower chamber unanimously and awaits Senate consideration.
The legislation is designed to ensure that the IRS provides clearer explanations when it identifies math or clerical errors in tax filings.
The bill requires that each IRS notice include specific information about the error and what steps the taxpayer can take in response.
The notices must describe the type of error in "plain language" and identify the specific line on the tax return that was affected.
They must also include an itemized breakdown of how the IRS recalculated the return, giving taxpayers a transparent view of how any adjustments were made.
Notices will now feature a dedicated phone number for the IRS' automated transcript service and must state the deadline by which a taxpayer can request an abatement, essentially a reversal, of the tax changes.
The bill outlines that such abatement requests can be submitted by mail, electronically, over the phone or in person.
Additionally, if the IRS later makes changes that reduce the assessment tied to a previous error, it must send a follow-up notice that explains the abatement with the same level of detail as the original notice.
The bill received support from both parties in the House, with no recorded opposition in the floor vote or committee hearings.
What People Are Saying
Iowa Republican Representative Randy Feenstra said: "If the IRS finds a mistake on a tax return—for example, when a taxpayer accidentally adds a zero to their reported income—the agency should clearly communicate that error to the taxpayer and explain why a tax refund is different than expected(...)
"With this legislative fix, we can improve customer service by promoting open and transparent communication between the IRS and the taxpayer when a tax error is identified."
Missouri Republican Representative Jason Smith, chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, said: "This bill is a win for taxpayers that will deliver better protection for Americans and greater accountability to the IRS."
Ryan J. Wilson, professor of accounting at the Tippie College of Business in Iowa, told Newsweek: "This seems like a positive for taxpayers. Certainly, IRS communication can be vague and confusing. Taking steps to enhance clarity around clerical errors and recalculated returns is helpful. I also like the idea of providing a number for taxpayers to call."
What Happens Next
Having cleared the House, H.R. 998 now moves to the Senate. If passed, the bill would proceed to the president for his signature.

In the evil au, what roles do the rest of the charters take? More importantly, if this au takes place within the timeline of the game. Would the premise of the lights up auditions be automatically rigged from the get go? That the whole thing is just a sham and that they've already pre-approved artists to join NSR and the show is just to make it seem like "anyone" can make music and join nsr. Would B2J's performance be the thing that breaks the illusion of it all?
I haven't exactly fleshed out the other NSR artists yet for this AU (yes, quite embarrassing 🙈), but I have tried mulling over multiple ideas. For example, I thought that Tatiana is obviously some kind of an evil overlord/dictator, who instead of her canon counterpart who's usually calm and collected, has serious anger issues and will literally burst into flames when things don't go her way — she's also a control freak, quite ironically. The other artist that I've tried fleshing out is Yinu and her mother. I imagine Yinu's mother would be kinda like those conservative fearmongers, who constantly keep yelling; "WOULD SOMEONE THINK OF THE CHILDREN?!!!!", meanwhile she practically exploits her daughter for fame and influence and lives her musical dreams through her (not so different from a mommy vlogger, I'd say...).
And yes, The Lights Up auditions function exactly as you mentioned above. Kind of like the elections in my eastern neighboring country, where the same "president" always gets an absurd amount of votes and continues his succesful reign year after year after year. By pre-approving artists, NSR ensures that every member politically aligns with their own agenda and the seeds of revolution aren't accidentally swallowed by the belly of the beast, and the threat of an internal rebellion stays at its minimum. And the "everyone can make music" is merely a ploy to make people hopeful and allow them the illusion of choice — because hopeless people may resort to desperate actions and build resentment, which then leads to revolting. NSR needs to make sure that they don't outright starve the majority of working citizens, so they won't bite the hand that feeds them, but instead lick it compliantly.
B2J will naturally break the illusion and eventually the system as a whole too.
