Drawing these two was really fun! I kept Ivan mostly the same, but I went in a more scene-ish direction with Mylene. There's some really old character bio thing that called Mylene a "mischievous prankster", which doesn't fit her canon self at all, but I feel like this version of Mylene would be more like that. Both of them would be way less shy and reserved than their canon-verse counterparts. They're both still social activists, but to a much more extreme degree due to their world being a dystopian hellscape an all that gjsgdj
Before they join the resistence they aren't aware of The Supreme, but are aware that something is definitely wrong with the government of their world. They would initially form their own mini-resistence group investigating all the shady stuff happening, before finding out about the Supreme and joining Gabriel's resistence
Carmilla (a Re: Dracula Miniseries) will feature Sasha Sienna as Laura and Méabh de Brún as Carmilla!
You'll know Sasha from Re: Dracula, The Magnus Archives, Doctor Who: Redacted, and more! And you'll know Méabh from The Silt Verses, The Town Whispers, The Secret of St Kilda, and more! They're both incredible actors, and I know they're gonna bring this story to life like never before.

the teaser 1 year ago vs the final movie. holy shit dude.
like all of it really culminates and was adjusted to make miles and gwen more as equals.. miles' deepened voice, miles also using a spider web to try grabbing at the sketchbook instead of his hand,
both of them standing on more equal footing,
overall making miles a lot less "dopey". and clearly fond of gwen rather than being strung along.
also something really specific but they changed gwen tipping her head down to just widening her eyes which is so much more subtle character acting which I love tbh.
shes not telling him what to do next but she's waiting for a response.
also just the fact they took the criticism of miles' hair and adjusted it from looser curls (3c/4A) to tighter, springy coils (4c) is so satisfying to see....
