his story and his honesty in his work mean a lot to me! sometimes making art can feel like trying to dissect the thoughts in my head and figure out what’s really in there and turning that into art that can maybe feel relatable

i also really admire when he talked about evolving and staying present with his work, i grow and evolve with my art too! if i ever become successful with my artwork i’d keep moving forward and never let myself get stuck

i usually can't create much when i’m sad or upset, but he reminds me that even your darker moments can become something beautiful or meaningful. and sometimes i just make art to see what happens too, like letting whatever’s inside spill out 🎨🖌️
