it was a dare given by your friend group earlier last weekend. wear the girls uniform and a wig for the entire month. it was easy to get the materials necessary for the most part. your mother had several wigs and was more than happy to style her son in feminine clothing. she was just amazing and supportive about your whims like that.

it didn’t take long for you to realize that no one recognized you in your new look.

the day started like many of your other ones at the school, you’d race your rival as the first one in class and whoever wins gets rights to a smug look on their face until the next thing you guys eventually compete on.

but unlike the crestfallen expression you expected — nay wanted — from that stupid pretty boy, you were greeted by what you could only described as complete bafflement.

“what?” despite having a different reaction from what you imagined, you managed to keep a composed appearance. “cat got your tongue?”

“ah. . .”

and that were the only words he said to you the entire day. nothing else. not a single groan of anger whenever you answered everything correctly, he didn’t even attempt at stopping you mid-way or disagree with you answer simply because he wanted to annoy you.

and so you couldn’t help it, as soon as the bell rang signalling lunch time you swiftly turned around to face him.

“are you alright?”

you inquired. not at all worried about his well-being at the slightest. you hated him with all your being after all and you didn’t make an effort to be soft with your tone either.

“h-huh?” he looked dazed. like his head had been in the clouds and you just yanked him down to ground.

your rival never got distracted.

“you—“ you reached out about to smack his face to keep him in check.

“if you’ll excuse me!” he smacked your hand out of the way, screeched at you, and then left in a hurry to who knows where.

nevermind that was definitely him. that silly brat hated it whenever you touched him. he must have just been having issues at home again or something.

Haoyu was trembling — shaking uncontrollably as his breaths turned more shallow by the second. His heart was pumping blood in places of his body where it shouldn’t have been in the middle of school hours. Sweat lined his entire skin and it didn’t help how the bathroom he rushed into had nothing to keep the temperature down.

Who were you?

You sat at his rival’s seat. That nasty kid that always got in his nerves. No one questioned the boy’s absence and he would have asked the teachers on what had happened if you didn’t suddenly take his breath away.

You were, ethereal. Otherworldy even. When he first saw you he was taken away by the way your hair moved in the wind (if only he knew . . .).

Still, he was far too distracted by [Y/N]’s absence to properly let the feeling simmer.

Then, all that went away when you reeled in his mind back at you again at class. You were incredible, capable, intelligent, and oh so perfect. But unlike that stupid child that usually sat in front of him, he did not feel an ounce of envy at all.

If only who could see your eyes as you spoke; the tone of your voice conveyed so much passion that he wanted to see in those beautiful (e/c) orbs.

And his prayers were granted by none other than the goddess that is you,

okay so imagine if "good little girl" was actually written for bubblegum. Hold on hear me out so like if you look back to the episode it's supposed to be Marceline's own twist on on Ice Kings Fiona and cake story. Also let me just say the ability to come up with a gender bent version of herself that a good amount of girls had a crush on on the spot in itself is kinda queer but I digress. Anyway back to my theory so that episode always felt a tiny bit strange to me because Marceline holds no romantic feelings for Finn whatsoever. I mean if she wasn't clear enough in the episode "Go with me" she really really doesn't like him like that. And of course you can argue "well this is just a story" or "they're not the same character" but here's the thing. Marceline is telling this story not the Ice King so no ideas or character archetypes are being beamed into her head, this story is completely her own she's just borrowing Pismo's characters at this point. And every story has to come from somewhere so basically you gotta look at it like this. Marceline is telling the story of Marshall Lee which is why the two seen so similar. In her story Marceline sings to Fiona a gender bent version of Finn, who she harbors no romantic feelings towards whatsoever. Yet despite this she writes a pretty convincing love song, and what inspires Marcelines' songs? Past experiences. So who inspired the song "Good Little Girl?" Well the only female character we're aware that that she has feelings for Bonnabel Bubblegum. And if you need any more convincing just look at the lyrics "good little girl always picking a fight with me" Gumball and Marshall as well as Marceline and Bubblegum are constantly arguing and bickering with each other. Also "you know that I'm bad but you're spending the night with me" we know from the episode varmints that they used to sneak around together just to hang out despite one of their earliest meetings were of Marceline vandalizing property. As well as "what do you want from my world" Marceline is honestly a pretty self destructive character I'm not gonna do a whole analysis or anything because it's late and l need to verify sources and everything but this just reads as something she'd ask to PB or wishes she would ask at this point in time. Anyway there's probably a lot more or maybe I'm reading yoo much into this but gay so I win.

Okay! Finished Helluva Boss season two! I should've listened to the people telling me not to watch it.

This post is inspired by @kittenface40 after they said they would like to see my thoughts on season two. This is a very long post, just a little warning.

Sooo let's start off with the things I like, don't worry there's not a lot. Well the animation is really good as always, they gave more depth to Fizzarolli and Ozzie and they actually became my favorite couple and Fizzarolli is now my favorite character. I liked Blitzo in this season, particularly his interactions with Fizzarolli. I think they have a very sweet friendship. Millie and Moxie were lovely as always. And I really liked seeing Blitzo vent about his frustrations with Stolas in "Oops!" He wasn't even wrong, but now the show is trying to say Stolas cares about Blitzo when nothing showed that. But I'm supposed to be talking about the stuff I like. We find out Moxie is bisexual which is really cool! Striker is also an amazing villain, and I'm prettyyy sure he is ace, which again is really cool! Now onto the stuff I disliked. Everything else. Just kidding. Mostly. Well I hate the way they try to make it seem like Blitzo is the abuser, while what he did to Stolas in season 2 episode 1 was not cool and definitely a new low for him, that doesn't make what Stolas did ok!? Two wrongs don't make a right?? It feels like they only made that episode to victim blame Blitzo, which is never a good look. And now they are trying to insist that Stolas has feelings for Blitzo when like nothing showed that? He always treated him like a sex toy, talked down to him, embarrassed him in public, and continued to call him Blitzy when he knew he didn't like it, but apparently, that's fine! We never see him slowly treat Blitzo with more respect and actually value him as anything more than a sex toy. He always treats him the same all the time, and we're just supposed to believe that Stolas loves him? I'm not buying it. And Stolas getting badly hurt, while it was satisfying deserved and long overdue, did nothing to advance the plot? It seemed like it would be some big emotional moment that would have serious consequences but the next time we see him he's completely fine? Just walking and talking like everything's normal? Huh? It was just filler for the sake of filler. Very few episodes actually advance the plot and while most of the characters are lovely, most of them. That's not enough to make me not realize the filler. Now, I do know a show does not need to really have an ongoing plot, some shows want to be shows you can jump into without needing to watch previous episodes. And that's fine, one series that did this really well was The Amazing World of Gumball. But the thing is Helluva doesn't know what it wants to be, some episodes will be filler for the sake of filler then it will randomly have super plot-heavy episodes? What? I do see potential in this show, like how I did with spop, and I don't think it's too far gone. Hopefully, it gets better but my hopes aren't high. Your headcanons are very interesting and inspirational.

Gosh i remember watching to this show every morning and was vibing to the theme song. It still sucks that it ended with just only 2 seasons without us getting to know the other side characters like emo kid. It kinda would be nice if we get episodes starring a side character but in the matter, kick buttowski is literally the title of the show so it make sense that he’s the main character but still-

Anyways about kendall, i like the idea that she and pantsy are frenemies. we’ve known pantsy makes strict rules at the mellowbrook megaplex that absolutely made no sense. He even wants people to say “please” before giving tickets?! Like bro, so it just goes like “you didn’t say please! No ticket for you!” And kendall getting annoyed and told him how immature he is just because he’s an assistant manager so after a few seconds of arguing, kendall had managed to get a ticket to watch her movie and also like the idea that pantsy gave her the whistle so she just use it to call him for something djfnfkfsr

You got something there, anon. I think Kendall being frenemies with him would be so funny when you also remember that Brad was so easily bossed by her. The whole idea of "yeah Brads" being easily bossed by her kinda makes me chuckle now - Brad bullies Kick, Pantsy bullies Mouth, Horace is there (sorry bby, the show didn't gave you much of a character but you will be blasted with headcanons soon, don't worry) and then there is one little miss perfect and her not so little miss perfect temper and authority. (But hey, Pantsy giving her a whistle is kinda sweet tho) God, there's so much potential there, thank you for the food for thought! And don't you worry. 1. “Default in Our Stars” is a fanfic inspired by a dream I had years ago…which revealed that Nicole Watterson from “The Amazing World of Gumball” is the long-lost real mother of Robot from “Robot and Monster”.

It merely started out as just focusing on Elmore via “Meet the Robinsons” style…but then I decided that the universe is much bigger than Elmore.

2. When Rise first premiered back in 2018, I did like the show. But I was 100% invested because of Rise Raph. Because before Rise, I really wasn’t a TMNT fan and hated almost every version of Raph (especially 2012). 1987 was okay, but I wasn’t considerably a fan.

I did like Rise April when she was introduced. A HUGE improvement from 2012. Same for pretty much everyone, including Rise Mikey and Rise Donnie. WAY better than their previous versions, although Rise Mikey competes with 2012 Mikey.

But some episodes like “Mrs. Cuddles” and the “Mind Meld” one made me literally hate them. Especially the former.

Mikey used to be #1 for my least favorite Rise character.

Safe to say after 4 years and the movie that position now belongs to Leo. I mean, I still prefer him over the previous versions, especially 2012…but he’s a jerk sometimes. Although somewhat a lovable jerk. Like Garfield.

I want to #SAVEROTTMNT only for this baby. He deserves more.

Rescue Rangers movie review

Hoo boy. I have a lot of opinions about this... thing. And a lot of mixed emotions.

The good:

Making fun of poorly made reboots and remakes. It’s about time somebody with a lot of clout (Disney that is) came out and said “hey these are terrible”. For years I’ve felt like too many animation fans have been too apologetic about these sort of things. The fact that Disney of all people, who are one of the main makers of such reboots/remakes, let someone do this is pretty amazing. I’ll give them credit for that.

Making fun of uncanny valley animation. Again, something that should have been made fun of years ago, and also something Disney is very much guilty of.

Including toons from other countries and mediums. For a very long time I’ve thought that characters that are CG, stop-motion, anime, etc. can and should be considered toons, and interact with more traditional Western cartoon characters. I’m very glad to see it, though I am bummed that somebody else beat me to it. The Amazing World of Gumball already kinda beat them to it though.

Disney acknowledging the existence of mockbusters is surprising. But again, Gumball already kinda beat them to it.

Acknowledging some toons that have been unfairly forgotten. It was nice to see Roger Rabbit and Bonkers get cameos.

The bad:

This movie is most emphatically NOT canon to the Roger Rabbit universe. It’s some strange alternate world where the rules and the timeline are radically different, and I have no idea why they didn’t bother trying to make it not contradict WFRR and its kin.

For example: Chip and Dale have (obviously) existed as a pair well before the 1980s, and have appeared in many other cartoons since. The same goes for Peter Pan.

In the Roger Rabbit universe, toons don’t usually age. (Otherwise how would Baby Herman remain a baby?) In the Tiny Toon Adventures episode “Fields of Honey”, it’s established that toons keep their youth via laughter, and that toons that don’t get enough laughter grow old and eventually fade away. I suspect some people wouldn’t regard Tiny Toons as a canon source of lore- I’ve talked to at least one person who didn’t think so- but I don’t see why not, since it’s so obviously inspired by WFRR, including unofficial cameos by Roger himself: https://tinytoons.fandom.com/wiki/Roger_Rabbit If you want something closer to WFRR, there’s Mickey Mouse’s 60th birthday TV special, which has Roger in it. Mickey definitely doesn’t look 60 years old in that, now does he? And besides, this movie contradicts itself by showing all the other toons as ageless. Chip and Dale themselves stop aging once they become adults. Why should Peter Pan be the exception? Especially since his whole bit is being forever young? Just for the lulz?

(Also apparently Peter’s backstory is awfully close to what happened to his voice actor Bobby Driscoll in real life. In extremely poor taste I’d say.)

The movie also contradicts itself regarding the whole “CG makeover” thing. Somehow “Ugly Sonic” is a separate character from regular Sonic, and yet Baloo and Pumbaa retain their “live-action” designs. On top of that, Lumiere has somehow not retained his “live-action” design. The movie’s internal logic is basically non-existent.

Uncanny-valley CG characters being toons. This is partly a matter of taste, because I refuse to accept the idea that such characters would ever be considered cartoons. For one thing, none of them have ever been created in our universe to be cartoon characters- why or how would they be elsewhere?

The Rescue Rangers characters being CG animation masquerading as traditional 2D. The animation was good, but it was incredibly obvious that it wasn’t what it was trying to imitate. They had real 2D animation elsewhere, but I guess they spent most of the budget on other things to do it for real.

The voices. I don’t know why Hollywood studios keep replacing voice actors with celebrities I’ve never heard of. Fans of the original voices would object, and people who have never seen or don’t like Rescue Rangers probably wouldn’t be tempted to see this movie anyway. They could have at least made them sound sped-up. Why Tress MacNeille was the only original voice to return I have no idea.

Gadget having children with Zipper was incredibly squick-y. I don’t even wanna think about it.

I have no clue where the writers got the idea that the original Rescue Rangers show frequently had Dale get hit on the head with a pipe, or that Gadget told bad jokes that got everyone laughing. I admit I haven’t watched the series religiously, but I have seen every episode at least once, most of them twice, and I don’t remember anything like that happening that often.

The cameos. Animation has gotten way too obsessed with packing their movies full to the brim with cameos lately and it’s getting tiresome. It works in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The Lego Movie, and Wreck-It Ralph because it helps set up the worlds of the movies. Ralph Breaks the Internet and Space Jam: A New Legacy felt more like “Look how many properties we own!”, and this movie feels like “Look how much money we spent convincing other studios to lend us their characters!”.

I really take offense at the idea that the Paw Patrol would turn vicious enough to permanently injure someone’s private parts. It just felt like an unnecessary jab by some mean-spirited writer who doesn’t like the show. (It’s an okay show. I’ve watched a few episodes, and yes, it’s kinda dumb, but there’s nothing really wrong with it.) Also, I was very confused as to why they kept calling Nick Jr. “Nickelodeon Junior”. Did some Paramount lawyers object or something?

In conclusion: This movie could have been absolutely amazing, if only somebody had said “wait a minute, that doesn’t make any sense”. It’s like... it was written by people who only had a passing familiarity with what they were referencing, who were trying very, very hard to appeal to superfans, not realizing that those superfans would be able to point out all its flaws. It just doesn’t hold up under scrutiny.

Evaluation + Project Proposal

Full Evaluation:

The theme of this unit was ‘Talk Show’, where we were randomly put into groups and required to generate ideas for creating our own talk show. The outcome that was expected from us was a completed film put onto tumblr, including an opening title sequence that we must make. Our time management however, wasn’t the best, because filming ended only a day before the deadline, since there was so much to film and it ended up being 20 minutes long (a lot longer than we had thought it would be). The first week was spent doing planning and preparation for our film. Unfortunatly, when second week arrived, we realised we still had some prepping to do because everything just felt so uncertain and lost on where to begin. After that was out the way, we followed a storyboard and started filming. We thought we would get it done quickly, however, to our dismay it dragged on to the final week all up until Thursday when we finished filming and focused on editing and posting. Next time, I think we should manage this much better by creating a written down timetable and calculating time more efficently.

My research was done by looking into creations for inspiration for our talk show. The first one that we had decided was 'The Office'. This was because the style of it was very similar to what we wanted. An awkward film of us trying to get by with our lives in our work. Other research was 'Don't hug me I'm scared', because they use puppets and create videos that are very strange with stories that do not make any sense. We took inspiration from the strange puppet show idea. Another research link that was used was Becky and Joe's directed episode for Gumball. In this episode, they become puppets, so real life puppets are used for this specific episode too. And on top of that, it's also very strange and goofy again, which is exactly what we wanted for our film. However, these were all secondary research. I think next time, I should look more into doing primary research too. The outcomes that these helped us start to develop were creating props such as puppets that we wanted to use, as well as developing more and more ideas for our show as we went on.

Some experiments that we have done were filming many scenes that we could potentially use, as well as testing with the camera. We also tested out creating different types of puppets we could also use. The concept and ideas was that we were going to create a behind the scenes of a puppet show, showing the lives of College students struggling to create this show that they want to submit as their project. It was supposed to be low budgeted, strange and goofy. We developed it for a particular audience who were young, yet mature. They would need to have a certain type of humour and be comfortable with dark jokes, as we were going to use those in our film. It would follow a type of humour and our audience would need to be those who understand and share the type so that they can find it funny. This then influenced the jokes and craziness we would have, including the style of editing and filming we were making. For example, the characters had references to fictional and real people, the jokes were for the audience of young adults and there was a lot of yelling. Some challenges we came across was that it felt like it took too long to film everything. It was stretched out onto more and more days and it was taking a while. Do get this done, we came in extra days that usually we would not have college, just so that we could get filming done with, plus did some work from home too that did not require the actual filming part such as editing and posting for Tumblr.

In the end, I think we really did achieve what we wanted to. Our goal was to produce a completed episode as our film for this project. We did what we wanted to, and met all the criteria for our concepts. I am happy with the final outcome. If given the chance to do something differently, it would probably be making sure I managed time better so that we don't stress over getting things done next time. What I have learnt with this project is that getting along and communicating well with your team is vital. Since everyone got along well and communicated their ideas thoroughly, we were able to all enjoy the project while we did everything.

The amazing world of gumball episode 3

Many moments in these 10 hourlong episodes go beyond just your average cringey attempt at recapturing the magic of the source material it’s based on-it’s actively grotesque in its bastardization of the original show, which has been contorted into a full-blown black comedy by writer Christopher Yost, known for his work on Thor: Ragnarok and The Mandalorian. Netflix’s Cowboy Bebop often feels like a slap in the face. Seeing the show now, I can’t believe just how wrong I was. Its diverse, eclectic blend of musical styles, genre conventions, and multicultural imagery is a huge part of its success outside of Japan, and is something that (or so I believed) could be caught on camera well enough. Bebop is a show heavily inspired by Western culture. I’m not a person who feels particularly precious about Cowboy Bebop-it’s a wonderful show and one I’ve watched several times, but I wasn’t groaning with dismay like many when the live-action adaptation was announced back in late 2018. The show is, understandably, considered a sacred bastion by many fans it was a gateway into anime for many Millennials who stayed up late enough to catch its maiden voyage on Adult Swim as one of its very first programs. It’s since become ubiquitous-Spike Spiegel tees can be found at any local Urban Outfitters, parodies of the opening sequence featuring the Simpsons or the cast of Star Wars practically litter YouTube (including one featured in an official episode of The Amazing World of Gumball), and the anime consistently tops any list of the “best anime of all time,” including our own here at Paste. Anime-influenced design isn’t terrible , lazy or genetic (but instead why is inspired).

Anime, what is your opinion about it polarized good or bad? That is effective for those who are fans of whatever series community they are part of, you can't deny it influences generation not only alienated target audiences but animation industry as what is seen today. From Avatar: The Last Airbender to The Legend of Vox Machina. Calls on this art style before since and even every time someone or sites compare shows that are similar to Last Airbender and Korra since that were comparisons every time a series resembles that type of style. Draw heavily from action and story-driven anime. Want talks about animation series or movies that were in fact influenced by anime. Not including shows that were inspired by anime by storytelling or made reference like Steven Universe or The Owl House for another topic to talk about for about time. Going talks about the style.

Question? What animation series that you’re watching and kind of look like anime and have that same movement like Cowboy Bebop, Sailor Moon or Fullmetal Alchemist. There are four shows that come to mind: The Boondocks, Code Lyoko, Teen Titans and Avatar: The Last Airbender. This four grown up watched like after when coming after school in the afternoon or a night waiting for the latest new episodes. This four series did was my fellow gen-z or any millennials at that time during early-mid 2000s when anime growth popular within entertainment industry from shows,

CalArts Style in the 2010s was criticized by those who thought simpler style to design and sometimes style was less diverse and not unique, don’t have your own sense of style. Then yet again not the case. Shows like Gravity Falls, Gumball and Steven Universe are far different each with changes of design when the season progresses forward and writing is less different. Same for those who are drawn to Avatar, Young Justice and Voltron. Reviewers and critics pointed out storytelling, anime-inspired moments, animations and even noticed character designers.

This isn’t new, this went back to the “Action Figure Era” in the 80s with transformers. The series was co-production by Sunbow Productions and Toei Animation. Since then shows throughout the decades of 1990s man studios and companies started to bring on Japanese animators to work many of the well known shows from your favorite childhood and Batman the Animated Series, Gargoyles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Spider-Man, even Talespin heavily Miyazaki's 1989 manga Hikōtei Jidai. The Powerpuff Girls and Dexter's Laboratory there episodes are inspired by anime and giant monster films like Godzilla or Super Sentai. Avatar: The Last Airbender and its sequel The Legend of Korra, evolved that term and now many you’re thankful helped evolve a hybrid of this sub-genres both animation and anime.

Has nothing but highly respect and praise for many studio’s Titmouse Studio, Rooster Teeth, Powerhouse Animation, Studio Mir, Studio 4°C, Polygon Pictures, DreamWorks Animation  and… Certainly Crunchyroll, my dream is to be an aspiring showrunner/writer someday working with one of those studios someday in the far future you've seen what they can do. With passion and plenty of hours of production these quality levels are put into this series. Telling not only a story but the world wanted to see off and fans have many love for what these studios are doing. Debating whenever referring to them as “Anime” or not.

You hear about what happened in animation on social media, and recently news about these studios. Either they are doing great or not so much at Sametime controversy arose with mistreatment in management, companies being sold off their division due to other companies, layoffs, or budgeting. What cases do these studios and companies have? What effect does this series have? Anime isn't the only country that has been influenced by anime alone. European-Canadian, Italian and France. Code Lyoko, Wakfu, Winx Club, Totally Spies! and Miraculous each have their own strong influence on anime you’re clearly seen that people who worked on this have enjoyed making this series and making those series anime as possible.

If you’re enjoying it, fans of this series like Blood Zeus, Invincible Avatar, She-Ra, Rwby, Young Justice, The Legend of Vox Machina, Blood Dragon and Masters of the Universe: Revelation, well noting power to you all, and you’re wrong watched this show with few people have they own criticism about this shows and style being compared back to Avatar or Voltron. I am looking forward to this type of series in the future both 2D and 3D. Executive from WarnerMedia, Netflix and Amazon Studios are known for their audiences. Even inspired by a few of these show’s, for future projects of a series for a few years worked and also fellow storyboard artists, animators and character designers on social media for content and want to work with in future.

F IT, IMMA SPEEDRUN!! STORY SPEEDRUN LESSGO!!

(Before that though, there was a recent idea where Rosemary and Mia Winters were kept in a safe house in the woods by the BSAA after the event of RE8, there is a neighbouring town outside the woods and it'll be a setting after this one, and yup, Ethan lives in the woods too without a roof and with nature around him like the true fairy-godmother he is)

So, story starts off with Rosemary visiting Ethan very early than last visits, around 7-8 am and bringing a basket of snacks - wanting to have a private picnic with her fairy-godmother. Ethan's kinda surprised seeing Rose visiting very early and very insistant to spend time with him, though he senses that there's something up with little Rose.

Both Ethan and Rose would have little chats about their weeks; Rose talking about tests she did with Chris - who's now called Uncle - and how annoying the "doctors" were, and Ethan talking about how he misses food such as Rose's strawberry jam sandwiches (chose that cause i got the ideas while eating that). A little headcanon, if Ethan were to bite something like food, the food would grow molds and expire rapidly, so he gotta eat quick though he's still fine eating molds (Steven from SU says "I got healing spit!", Ethan from RE says "I got expiring spit!"),,,

After some little chats and sandwiches, Ethan sees Rose close to tearing up and snot slowly falling to her lips, of course there's something wrong. Ethan then question Rose what's the matter and Rose immdiately vented Ethan, now with complete tears falling on her cheeks to her chin.

Rose reveals that she has been recieving nightmares about monsters that lurks in the shadows; a tall lady in white who speaks like a dragon, a lady in black veil who speaks mockery behind a doll, a crowned beast who emerged from the waters, an old man with an iron warhammer and another fairy-godmother who vows to take Rose away,,, of course it's the Five Freaks, Ethan thought in worrisome glare.

Rose then questions Ethan if he could help take care of the nightmares and protect, and as he promised in the beginning of RE8, Ethan agrees to protect Rose from the monsters,,, but how tho? Well, Ethan thought about entering Rose's mind,,,

In this au story, Ethan's sorta the heart of the Megamycete while Rose is the head, Rose keeps the Megamycete's catalouge (memories, people, etc.) While Ethan keeps most of the powers whatever the Megamycete held. Beside Ethan holding most of the Megamycete's powers, he's sorta the bridge between the current world and the mindscape world within the Megamycete,,, it's like, Ethan is Rose's Eren Yeager and Rose is Ethan's Zeke Yeager (idk if you guys know AOT, and this is spoilers for the au's next plot).

So, Ethan plans to take care Rose's nightmare by entering the Megamycete's mindscape. Before that though,,,

To make sure Rose is comfortable and calm through out the trip, as well to keep their connection tight, Ethan and Rose grew and crafted rose flower crowns (idea was inspired by the uncle and the two kids who wore tinfoil hats in The Sign, as well Gumball and Darwin from that dream episode and glitch episode from TAWOG).

And so,,,

The two Winters enter the Megamycete's mindscape and arrive on the same cold place where Ethan last met Eveline, but their trip won't be swift, for fairy-godmother will come face his not-so-old enemy,,,
