#it also depends on if this blog can get traction again
Note
How much practice does one need before wven thinking of writing a story with a goal to publish?
Or is it possible to just write up an outline, a couple of drafts until the final draft, and to start contacting publishers?
Is it enough to just learn from the internet about writing stories - like tips from this blog, for example?
I'm considering being an author, but idk how much time I want to "waste" on practicing writing stories I have no interest in. Like fanfiction or random prompts. I really only care for the stuff I'd like to see in a book store someday....
How do authors usually do it? Do I have to be a renowned fanfic writer, short story contest writer before? Do I have to have a degree to stand a chance?
Questions About Becoming an Author
"How much practice does one need before even thinking of writing a story with a goal to publish?"
How much practice you need depends on where you're starting out. If you're starting literally from scratch--as in you've never read fiction, never written a story, don't watch a lot of TV and movies, have never been to a play or musical, don't listen to much music, don't read poetry, and are just generally clueless about what stories are and how they work, then you're going to need a lot of time and practice. However, odds are pretty good you're a lot further along than that. At the very least, you probably read and wrote fiction in school, and you've probably consumed stories via other mediums as well. Maybe you've even written poetry, short stories, or fan-fiction. Maybe you're just one of the lucky few with an innate talent for writing great stories even with very little experience. All you can do is start writing and see where you land.
"Is it possible to write up an outline, a couple of drafts until the final draft, and to start contacting publishers?"
Sure, it's possible. Will the story get any traction? That depends on how good it is, how timely/on trend it is, who you query, and how well you query.
"Is it enough to just learn from the internet about writing stories - like tips from this blog, for example?"
Advice blogs like this one are helpful, but you do have to actually write in order to get better at writing. It's also helpful to read fiction if you want to get better at writing fiction.
"I'm considering being an author, but idk how much time I want to "waste" on practicing writing stories I have no interest in."
What I'm hearing here is "I want to be an author but I don't want to put in the time and effort to hone my craft," and that's definitely not where you want to be. If you think of writing practice stories as a waste of time, you'll never become a published author. Practice is an essential part of honing your craft, and stories that are never published aren't a waste. They're essential building blocks to becoming a good writer.
"How do authors usually do it? Do I have to be a renowned fanfic writer, short story contest writer before? Do I have to have a degree to stand a chance?"
There are many valid paths to becoming an author, but all of them require a commitment to the time, energy, and practice it takes to hone your craft well enough to write a publishable story or book.
Some people become an author after years as a renowned fanfic author. Some become an author after writing in college, or for a publication, or for their job. Some become an author after earning a writing degree. Some people become an author after spending a few years writing stories for practice, and finally writing one good enough to query. You don't have to do any of these things to be a writer. All you have to do is write until you write something good enough to publish. When you'll get to that point is different for everyone.
Most writers become authors after spending years writing stories that will never be published. Again, these stories aren't a waste. They are the stepping stones that got the writer from being a bad writer to being an amazing writer. For the vast majority of us, those stepping stones are a necessary part of the process.
At the end of the day, all you can do is start writing and see where you land. Write a story you're passionate about and send it to beta readers. See what kind of feedback you get. If it's mostly glowing and positive, you might be one of those lucky few who has an innate talent for writing. If the reviews aren't great, you need to try again.
If you're willing to put in the time, patience, and effort, you'll get there. :)

[ Hello! Hello, Hello! Hi!
So…
So you all are crazy. You’re like, almost Dave Miller level bonkers right now. When I restarted this blog, I was scared to death it wouldn’t gain much traction and I wouldn’t be able to do what I love again! But! Then you all!!! Did some crazy stuff!!! And I have a plethora of awesome asks and interactions and stuff to look through, and I’m so, so, so, so so so, SO grateful for it!
You all are seriously bonkers. Like, in the best way possible. In no way is this a negative post, I’m literally smiling from ear to ear despite having a phone for a head.
Alas… BECAUSE there is so much good stuff I’ve got to sort— and I really wanna try my best to get through all of it, because I love you all, and I wanna get through as much as possible!— I’m gonna end up closing the askbox for just a couple days to do that!
The askbox will be closed from the end of Sunday {12/10} to around Wednesday {12/13}. Maybe more, depending on how my midterms shake out. I’ll still be fillin’ out asks, and I’ll post a little update when the box reopens and you all can yell as many obscenities as you want at the Merry Band of Multi-Colored Weirdos!
Seriously, though, I like… Cannot thank y’all enough. This is awesome. You all are so awesome. Thank you for literally all of this. Also thank you for giving me a distraction from midterms, yeah, I would probably be a fried egg on the sidewalk if it weren’t for the evenings I spend filling out asks to unwind.
OKAY!!!! THANK Y’ALL!!! SOMETHINGWILLHAPPENNEXTTIMEWEMEETHOPEFULLYYALLWILLLIKEIT GOODBYE!!!! ]

re: previous post, blog tips!
if just a general pjo blog, that's your house man do what you want. In general though just being frequently active and posting original posts will draw people to your blog. That's just kind of how blogging works. tbh same applies to most social media. just tag things appropriately and you're good (don't crosstag [tag irrelevant stuff, ex: tagging specific characters on a post that does not reference them specifically] and you probably need less tags than you think in general. fandom tags + whatever your own blog's organizational tags are is probably sufficient.) I'll throw some general pjo tagging tips below a cut at the bottom of this post. And obviously don't repost other people's stuff, that's a given. Reblogging is fine, obviously, that's a different thing. The only other thing I would specifically advise is making sure to enable custom themes on your blogs, just cause it's a nice way to show people you're not a bot, customize your blog, and it's just way easier to navigate. Just pick a theme that has very clear buttons, please. Previous/next page, like, reblog, etc. I've personally been enjoying the theme Vision recently.
For askblogs specifically - particularly if your askblog is heavily story-based or OC-based, people aren't likely to reblog frequently from you, so it can be hard to get traction on your askblog. That's just kind of the nature of askblogs. People are also very unlikely to reblog advertisement posts for askblogs. Ergo, best way to get traction on your askblog is to post general art or etc (depending on genre of askblog) occasionally, particularly towards the beginning of the blog, especially little memes and jokes. Also again just posting regularly and tagging appropriately. If you need asks, you are allowed to send yourself prompts or ask your friends to send you ones. I also personally recommend saving asks, since some you might be able to use later or maybe just don't have an idea for yet.
Also if you're starting an askblog, ABSOLUTELY MAKE SURE you open your inbox! Turn on anon if you're able. And if your inbox gets overwhelmed only turn off anon, don't close the inbox completely. Turning off anon will limit the amount of asks you get by a lot. Most askblogs i've seen that have become inactive or died are askblogs that closed their inbox and lost steam as a result, or never opened their inbox to begin with and didn't realize. Also label your blog clearly as an askblog. Askblogs and rp blogs are different things. If it's an RP blog, don't label it as an askblog, and vice versa, unless it is genuinely intended to be both, in which case label it as both, but know 90% of the time if you intend for it to be both it will end up purely an rp blog anyways. Askblogs, even text askblogs, are just a different beast. You can always make two sideblogs for the same character if you'd like.
Tagging advice below the cut cause this got long:
With PJO specifically, general tagging tips - "pjo" and "riordanverse" are the main two to tag stuff with for main series stuff. You can tag stuff "percy jackson" cause that is the series name but i personally try to refrain from that on this blog at least cause it's also a tag shared with a specific character. Obviously if it's side series, MCGA + Magnus Chase or TKC + The Kane Chronicles respectively, plus "riordanverse." I dont usually tag HoO/Heroes of Olympus or TOA/Trials of Apollo unless it is very specifically about those series and not just the characters from that series. Really please stop flooding the HoO and TOA tags with irrelevant stuff. Just keep it to specific-to-that-series.
Also PJO specific character names i just do [whatever name they usually go by in the series] + [surname or if lacking surname, "[series abbreviation]"], so like Leo would be "Leo Valdez" or Dakota would be "Dakota PJO." For deity chars i tag same as no-surname, "[god] PJO" or "[god] TKC" or whatever. For Reyna specifically there seems to be a lot of variations of how her name gets tagged, such as including her middle name or not including the accent or hyphen. I usually try to tag her as "Reyna Ramírez-Arellano."
I usually order tags [series] > [characters] > [etc] + [personal blog organization tags and/or any content warnings necessary] > [commentary tags]. For awhile it was tumblr only counted the first like 5 tags for what to show in tag searches, i think it might be first 20 tags now? unclear. doesn't really matter.
Anyways don't crosstag cause that's spam and otherwise do whatever you want forever have fun

6, 12, 18, 24, 30!
@intone
oh gods, that's so many questions... :'D
send a number for me to talk about one of the following topics!
6. excessive ooc
Tumblr media
I mean? As long as it's tagged? That's fine with me because I tend to post a lot of ooc posts as well. Though, I guess, my policy is that I clean it up a bit if it's too much. But then again: what is too much ooc posting? What is considered excessive ooc posting? I would say my excess where I draw the line if for 5 straight pages of a blog I don't see any rping at all or any plotting or any headcanons/metas written out. Then again, every person should do what they are comfortable with and not try to please the RPC when it comes to how they operate on their blog when it comes to OOC. I don't follow blogs who only post ooc posts, but I also know that my personal ooc posting during the week can get a bit meh. So, really, it's a case-to-case basis but it's just personal preference for each person, I guess. I block the ooc tag if it's too much for me sometimes? Hm, but yeah, I honestly don't have a big thought about this because it really do be a case to case basis. Some people need ooc to discuss possibilities, to talk about life, to connect with others. But then there is toxic ooc content where there is a lot of guilt tripping and 'woe is me' kind of content. So really, it depends!
12. promos
Tumblr media
Promos only work when people reblog the post and not when they like it. That's my stance on it. I think as a collective rpc, we should reblog more promos of each other to spread the word. It's especially true for newer rpers in the rpc. How are they going to gain traction if older rper don't reblog their promos? Honestly, it was an issue for me in the Genshin community when I was starting. However, I also think that those short text promos are fun. Like small and funny ones. Cool and aesthetic-wise are awesome, but those small and funny ones are also pretty darn awesome.
18. shipping
Tumblr media
There is a lot to speak about shipping, but I'll cover one of the themes of shipping: progress and asking. In the current day and age of RPC, the collective trauma of many rpers feeling like they're forcing something on another without actually forcing anything should be healed. It speaks to the fact that we are lacking communication, which is a continuous issue with rpc as a whole here and there, especially in some fandoms. I believe it'd be nice to speak more with people about different ships that are platonic, antagonistic, etc. I also think we should be more honest with each other on what kind of ships we see happening between our muses! Just be polite, honest and don't be weird. Like, damn, I want more antagonistic and toxic ships! I want villains to be villains and have those tense and complicated interactions!
24. your first RPC
Already answered here!
30. your choice!
Tumblr media
I want to give a massive shout out to multimuse blogs! I think multimuse blogs are extremely complicated and hard to manage, which makes everyone who have multimuse blogs are damn SUPERHEROES. Everyone who can handle more than 1 muse is a deity of creativity and I admire every single one of you. Canon or OC, multimuse blogs require the ability to think of different characters insted of just one. I have a hard time doing it, which makes me admire everyone who has multimuse blogs so much.

hi !! i hope ur doing okay :) i heard ab the plagiarism thing and im so sorry u had to go through that :/
i js had a quick question if it's okay w u ??
im not rlly like. new to tumblr or anything 😅 but i recently decided to start posting fics & its rlly discouraging to see 0 interaction w anything i post :( i know that the likes to rbs ratio is on whack recently but no one even bothers to like my posts and its kinda.. demotivating tbvh :(( i've checked and i know all my fics r showing up in the tags so i rlly dont know what the issue is !!
do u have any tips on how to get more traction for ur fics ?
tysm in advance for answering this and i hope u hv a great day !! 💖
hello hello!! i’m doing as well as i can be with the horrible academic load sitting on my shoulders LMAOAOAO :’) yeahh it was very unfortunate but i’m just glad they took the post down 🥲
nooo i’m so sorry to hear that omfg :( i think the enhablr community in general has a problem with feedback. smaus and headcanons/reactions do very well whereas longer written works don’t get as much traction 😕 honestly, though, recently i’m seeing smaus flopping too and i think it’s bc there’s just SO MANY popping up every single day and often it’s the same ideas being recycled over and over again 😭 i’m on both nctblr and enhablr and the feedback is definitely more on the former 🤧 it’s disheartening to see the motivation go down on this side of the kpop community especially since there r so many talented people here ☹️
aaaa i’m not entirely sure how to help u since u said ur fics r showing up in the tags but still not getting traction 💔 have u joined any networks? u’ll get ur fics reblogged that way and even make more friends who’ll hype u up!! getting noticed also depends on luck to an extent. try checking ur blog’s activity to see when ur followers r most active and post at those times so that maximum people see ur content on the dash without having to scroll much!! also self reblog for those who are in a different timezone from urs so they don’t miss out on ur fics 💗 make sure to use the tags with the most following first too!! i’ve heard people say first five tags don’t matter but what’s the harm in believing that they do LOL i p sure the most followed tags are enhypen imagines and enhypen scenarios (along with enhypen smut bc ppl r horny but idk if ur a minor or not 👁️👄👁️) OH AND LAST THING!! maybe try posting teasers for longer works (or even smaus) so that word spreads and you get a bigger audience when you release the actual content!
idk if any of these tips might actually help you but this is what i have picked up during the past two years i’ve been on tumblr 💗 i would like to reiterate that traction depends on luck as well so not all ur fics will do well but please don’t be disheartened! it takes time to be discovered and if u keep creating consistently and heartily, i’m sure u’ll get everything u deserve and more :D

how did you gain traction with your fics? You and others have inspired me to get back into writing again, and I’m feeling a little disheartened bc I haven’t received any feedback… do you have any tips?? You don’t have to answer, love your work angel x
i won’t lie this made me kind of emotional?? you have no idea how much i appreciate you asking me this or saying that i’ve inspired you. me?? are you sure??
also i’m gonna try my best to answer this for you :)))
i started writing on wattpad before on here, and i did that purely because i wanted to. that’s why i write here too! i’d been writing stories in the notes on my phone and decided i’d revise them and give sharing them a shot. there isn’t a lot that’s made me as happy as writing does, so i guess my main piece of advice is to write because you enjoy it and write what you want. then all the other stuff will come later.
my blog is little and i quite like it that way, but there’s a set of billy headcanons i wrote that have a thousand and some odd notes? which might not seem like a lot to some people but it is to me. honestly i get scared to post so i tend to post things and then go to sleep. but that one is the most notes i’ve gotten. and it’s shocking because i posted that and didn’t think anyone would read it (i have very low expectations for myself).
so really i just write things i’m happy with and i post them and i completely understand the disheartening feeling that comes with a lack of feedback. i really appreciate comments and reblogs because they tell me if someone likes something and then that gives me motivation to write more. i have something i wrote that was the longest thing i’ve ever written, and it’s got less than twenty notes i think. and likes don’t tell me anything, you know? so i try to leave feedback on everything i read because i know what it feels like to not know if anyone is enjoying your work.
as for tips, i have noticed that there seems to be a time zone thing? like if i post at a certain time, no one sees it, but at another time it gets a little more attention? it’s odd. i also try my best at getting loads of tags in there. but honestly i didn’t start using tumblr until 2022 (almost said this year) so i’m still new and learning as i go. and i’m not totally sure about traction, i suppose? i think it depends on the characters too. my gareth work doesn’t do as well because he isn’t as popular a character. my eddie stuff does well right off the bat because he’s more popular, but then it sort of calms down after that. billy does well over time. i think sometimes people might be shy to share their feelings about billy. idk. maybe that’s bullshit and sounds silly.
so i’d say: do it for yourself. if you enjoy it, then write whatever you want for whoever you want. but i know it sucks to not have feedback. sometimes i post and it’s radio silent and it can hurt. and i think there is a definite problem with the lack of responses on here—i’ve seen people compare it to things like instagram where likes mean everything, and that’s not the case here. but really, if you enjoy it, keep at it. i think the good stuff comes later, if that makes any sense. sometimes i feel like quitting, but if i take a step back, i realize that i enjoy it and it doesn’t matter if no one reads it, because i had fun making up this little escapist world.
i don’t know if that was helpful at all, but again i really appreciate you asking me. thank you for reading my crap and for being here :)))

I’m sorry for bothering you, but I’m holding an event right now and I have no idea how you tell people that you are holding an event. Like, I’ve posted it and it’s gotten a few answers but definitely not enough to actually run this event.
Do you post about it every few days? Reblog it a few times? How to remind people that you’re holding an event week?
Again sorry for bothering you, I’m just a bit stressed about the participation thing right now 😓
Don't apologize anon. You're okay!
Give it a bit of time. Sometimes it takes a few days for the notes to role in. Depending on the theme of the event, you may not get a lot of participation. I know I haven't gotten as much traction with some of my events since I focus on more rarepairs and obscure relationships.
So usually how I approach this I post an interest post on my main blog if it's a new event. Then I create the event blog and announce I'll be running the event and open it up to prompt suggestions for a period. I'll reblog that post to my main since I have a decent following. I tag the fandom, the ship/relationship, the characters (in the case of Hetalia I'll used both aph character and hws character to reach a wider audience). You can also tag blogs that advertise events such as @/hetalia happenings.
Don't get too discouraged. Even if only a small number, I've went through with it. Because those few people will have fun. If you'd like, I can at least share the event around and maybe even participate at least a little. After all my semester is coming to an end so I'll have some time to get to the wips I have piling up lol.

𝐆𝐄𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐀𝐔𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐑.
name: marz / marzi / marzipan (depends on the person)!
pronouns: they/them
preference of communication: Discord works well enough, but I am such a disaster icon of ADD that I forget to reply to things and sometimes I sleep at odd hours ; you really gotta have some patience! Although IMs work sometimes, too, so I am okay with them!
most active muse: It’s really hard to say? I blog/muse hop a super-sized amount of time. I try to be consistent and get my drafts done, but it doesn’t always work out ;;; so I really am sorry to anyone who waits on me! ; o ; I always come back to each of my blogs if I have enough traction on them, though!
experience/how many years: I started writing on tumblr in 2014, so it’s been roughly...nine years now? But I rp’d as a child with my cousin on our cellphones, haha! We had some stupid ideas of what the world was back then and, thankfully, I’ve improved as a writer and person as I grew up!
best experience: Any time that ANYONE says that they can hear my muse’s voice in my writing? That makes me feel like I am doing the character justice and it sticks with me, you know?
rp pet peeves: It’s hard to say... I try to let a lot of things slide off my back with a simple vent with friends if it bothers me. Nothing is worth STAYING mad at, but the worst experiences I had were people who would take my words and then proceed to turn others against me? Like, I really, really hate this petty childish mannerism that people have about dealing with problems. Turning others against someone is what high schoolers do and I interact with people who are adults, not children! If something offends you, hurts you, or makes you sad, TELL ME! I won’t mind if you need to vent to your friends (notice I use the word: FRIENDS, not just random people in the fandom that you want to make mad at me for gratification of some kind) because it genuinely made you feel bad, but as long as we talk it out or you drop it and move on because everyone has a sour moment, then I don’t care. I just want people to not be immature!
fluff, angst, or smut: out of these three? angst more than likely. While I enjoy fluff a lot, it turns to this really...clockwork aspect a lot of times, which isn’t inherently bad, but I like things moving around and, out of the three, I feel like angst does that job really well! If I were to push for another category added? It’d be CHARACTER BUILDING (which can be any of those categories, though I am not a smut person) because I find that this really does motivate me a TON! Angst does it a whole lot because muses tend to reveal sides of themselves that aren’t visible a lot, but you can do it in fluff too! You can see the kindness of another that isn’t there often, which is so so so so valuable to development! So, I raze this question to the ground and replace all with character building as my preferences!
plots or memes: Plots are great, but I really do have to emphasize that we DO SOMETHING with what we make together! I do not like to just plot and then sit there like, “Oh, gosh, do we thread it? Do we...do we do it??? Do I do it?” Because then I get nervous that my plot points were bad and then I get into this anxious cycle about approaching LMFAO ; really, it’s a ME thing mostly because I should approach again. However? Memes are fantastic but they take longer for me to respond to because I sit there going, “Okay, how do I do this amazingly so they’re hooked?” If it’s a random ask box thing, I sometimes answer quicker if there’s a plot behind it, though! But...as some people notice, even that can take forever ; o ;
long or short replies: I am terrible about keeping things short SO MUCH OF THE TIME! If someone replies long, I reply long, but if they reply short, I try so hard not to do TOO much...but sometimes if the reply just speaks to my muse, I get SUPER into it. I also get nervous if I am JUST starting to interact with that person and go ham just to be like, “I AM INTERESTED I HOPE SOMETHING OF THIS IS GOOD ENOUGH!” I wanna be that really attentive partner when starting off because I just want to make it fun for both sides!
best time to write: Sometimes I get super musey at like...3 AM and other times I write like no tomorrow at 6 PM ; there is no time that really speaks to me because I just slam dunk my muse when I get it! LMFAOOOO
are you like your muse(s): Most of my muses are cooler than me! I think in terms of a lot of them, I notice certain patterns that draw me in, but I tend to pick my characters at seemingly random sometimes...but I do love cutesy muses so much since I am a very cutesy individual in life (and by “cutesy” I mean...they are also drawn to pink, stuffed animals, and pretty things). So if I had to define myself close to a muse I have, it’d be...Chrissy Cunningham. I am very much like in a lot of regards except I wasn’t popular in school LOL so don’t read into that aspect of her.

Some tips to help vetted Palestinian fundraisers get more traction (from an American, Non-Palestinian user who has been on tumblr since 2012):
-Put the link showing you've been vetted at the TOP of the post, preferably right under the header of the post!! I always open the full post to see if there's a link on the bottom, but not everyone does that! Unfortunately, you have to make it as easy as possible for people on here, or they wont engage!! Always assume users are lazy or burnt-out! it's unfortunate, but its the truth.
-PIN YOUR FUNDRAISER POST!!!!! This is VERY important. Again, you have to assume the average tumblr user is not willing to do much searching, and pinning your most important post makes it so that it's the VERY FIRST THING a user sees when they visit your blog. This also makes it easier to keep your fundraiser more organized, since you can update that post with any new information!
-Only use emojis sparingly! Tumblr has a HUGE issue with bots, and those bots have a tendency to use a LOT of emojis for some reason, so many users' knee-jerk reaction to seeing a ton of emojis is "that's a bot". They may ignore you, or even report you for this! This is unfair, I know, but that's the way it is, and you want to reach as many people as possible!
-Only use colored text for THE MOST IMPORTANT information!!! Again, you have to assume the average tumblr user is lazy. They're too busy scrolling, and likely won't sit down to read your whole post. If you have a deadline, or something else that's extremely urgent, put that in RED text. Notice how, since my whole post is mostly white text, your eye is IMMEDIATELY draw to this part. Make sure you don't overuse colored text, because it lessens impact, and users are more likely to get tired of the post if too many things are too many colors! Stick mainly to just plain text, and use as FEW COLORS AS POSSIBLE to get your point across. Preferrably, also put your VETTED LINKS in color as well, though you should also bold them and make the font size bigger to attract attention.
-If you want to reach out to someone for help sharing your fundraiser, check to see if they've reblogged any other fundraisers, or anything about Palestine first! If they have, they're MUCH more likely to listen and help you. If they haven't posted those things, you can still ask, but be aware that a lot of Non-Palestinian bloggers won't reblog fundraisers because it "doesn't fit their blog". And also SOME users (like writing-pr*mpt-s, will outright report you and start a campaign of accusing palestinian users of being "scammers")
-Make sure you include a link to EVERYONE who has vetted you, if there was more than one person. Vetting from more than one party looks "more legitimate", and people will be more likely to engage with your post. Unfortunately, there ARE non-palestinian scammers trying to use genocide to make money (though they are few and far between, from what i've seen), and many users won't reblog a fundraiser that hasn't been vetted.
-If your account is deleted, try to find a version of your ORIGINAL FUNDRAISER POST that was reblogged by one of the users that vetted you. Once you do, PIN THAT PERSON'S REBLOG to your NEW account. do NOT make a new fundraiser post unless it's as a last resort!!!!!!!!!!! This will make it harder to keep track of!!!! Pinning your ORIGINAL fundraiser post that was reblogged from an account that vetted you will quickly show users your post is already vetted, even if your account is new!! This will help prevent your post from losing traction, and i cannot stress how important this particular tip is!!!!
-DO NOT USE "GUILT-TRIPPING" LANGUAGE IN YOUR POST!!!! Don't misunderstand me here, I understand that your safety DEPENDS on donations, and i absolutely DO NOT blame you for wording things this way-especially since you are most likely in a life-or-death situation. but tumblr users in particular are VERY SPITEFUL of this type of language. I've seen posts saying things like "if you ignore this, you are condemning me to death" and while that IS true, and i personally would still reblog a vetted fundraiser that said this, many users won't!! They will REFUSE to reblog posts like this, because that's a large part of the site's culture as a whole. I understand you are likely terrified and probably angry at your situation, but if you want to reach AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE, you unfortunately HAVE to be nice and polite about it. I hate that I have to say that, because people going through a genocide should NOT have to be nice and polite, but that's the way this website works. If you word things too aggressively, you will oftentimes be ignored.
That's all i have so far. Is there anyone that could potentially translate this into arabic for me? I would like for this to reach as many people as possible so that it can help them, if even a little bit.

The Backbone Battle: How to Combat and Overcome Spine Diseases
Tumblr media
If you or someone close to you is suffering from a spine disease, then it can be an incredibly difficult and challenging experience. The pain can be unbearable at times, making even the simplest of tasks seem impossible. However, there is hope in fighting back against these diseases – with the help of a qualified orthopedic surgeon in Bhopal who specializes in treating spinal disorders.
In this blog post, we will discuss some of the common spine diseases that affect people today, as well as what treatments are available for them. We'll also provide tips on how to find the best orthopedic surgeon in Bhopal so that your loved one gets expert care during their treatment journey. Finally, we will discuss how important it is for individuals suffering from spinal conditions to take proactive steps towards managing their condition and leading healthier lives overall!
One of the most common types of spine disorders encountered by patients today is degenerative disc disease (DDD). This type affects both young adults and older individuals alike; however, its effects become more pronounced with age due to wear-and-tear on discs located between vertebrae over time, which leads to them becoming thinner or rupturing altogether, causing severe pain along with other symptoms such as numbness, tingling sensations, etcetera. Thankfully, though, DDDs can often be managed through lifestyle changes like avoiding certain activities/postures, eating healthy foods, exercising regularly, and taking medications prescribed by a doctor, etcetera. Furthermore, if needed, surgery may also prove beneficial depending upon the severity level, individual case scenario, etcetera.
Another commonly seen type would include herniated discs, which occur when pressure exerted onto intervertebral disks causes rupture, resulting in bulging outwards into nearby areas, thereby compressing nerves around the area, leading to intense discomfort, sometimes accompanied by weakness, loss of sensation, and other related issues again based upon the severity level, individual situation, et cetera. Treatment options here too involve conservative measures like physical therapy, medications, braces, traction, injections, alongside surgical procedures where necessary, all depending upon the patient's specific needs, preferences, after consulting medical professional(s) involved in the process, et cetera.

Lastly, scoliosis refers to curvature side either left or right direction along the longitudinal axis of the body, usually caused by genetic factors but environmental ones too, including trauma, poor posture, lack of exercise, incorrect sleeping habits, among others, play a role in the development of the condition while mild cases might not require any treatment moderate severe cases need monitoring, possibly corrective surgeries to address the issue, improve the quality of life for the patient concerned.

Fun Games Blogs– Just Don’t Miss Golden Opportunity
Tumblr media
Whether you have a deep passion for gaming or just want to make money, launching a game blog can be an exciting prospect. However, it’s important to understand your audience and what types of content they will enjoy.
A popular type of gaming blog content is reviews of new games. These can be very helpful to gamers looking for a game to play or a new system to buy.
It’s a great way to find new games
Run Games blogs are a great way to find new games, or just keep up with the latest news in the gaming industry. These blogs are full of helpful tips, reviews, and opinions on the latest games. Some even include forums, which is a great way to meet other gamers and share your own experiences. The best gaming blogs focus on a niche. This allows them to develop a loyal audience and stand out from the competition. In addition, it makes it easier to promote the blog and attract visitors.
For example, a site like thatvideogameblog focuses on the latest games and offers advice on how to get the most out of your gaming experience. The site also features a forum, where you can discuss the latest releases with other gamers. Another popular gaming blog is touch arcade, which covers mobile games. This is a growing market, and the website offers news, hands-on previews, and a bustling community.
It’s a great way to learn new skills
When you write a game blog, you can share your knowledge of video games with the world and help others. You can also learn from other bloggers and develop your own unique style of writing. However, before you start your gaming blog, it’s important to find a niche. This will make it easier to market your blog and connect with an audience.
Choosing a name for your blog can be challenging, but there are plenty of resources to help you find the perfect one. For example, you can use a name generator to find the perfect domain name for your website.
Choose a domain name that is easy to remember and includes a keyword related to your video gaming niche. For example, a blog about esports events would have a much broader appeal than a blog about an individual game. Having a broad niche will also allow you to keep your blog posts fresh and relevant.
It’s a great way to socialize
Once you’ve set up your blog with a custom theme and downloaded some essential plugins, it’s time to start creating content. Depending on your niche, this could include reviews of new video games or hardware, or it could involve writing about how to improve your gaming skills. Another popular type of content is behind-the-scenes posts, which are particularly useful for gaming blogs as interest in games peaks around release dates.
If you want to make a big impact with your blog, it’s important to choose a niche. This will help you focus your efforts and keep your articles valuable for readers. For example, a gaming blog focused on esports will have much more scope to cover news and events than a site that focuses on all games. You can use tools like AnswerthePublic to find questions that people are asking about video game topics and then create blog content based on those answers. This will help you gain traction with your blog quickly.
It’s a great way to make money
Many people start video game blogs because they are interested in sharing their passion for gaming. They also want to make money from their blog, but it’s not always easy to achieve that goal. The first step is choosing a niche, and the second step is finding ways to monetize your blog.
One of the best ways to earn money from a gaming blog is by selling digital products. This is a great option because it allows you to sell your content over and over again. You can even create a membership for your readers, which will allow them to pay a monthly fee to access your content and online community.
Another way to make money is by promoting your blog on social media. You can also use a plugin like ConvertKit to capture emails from your audience and build a relationship with them. Finally, you can write guest posts for other gaming blogs to get more exposure and visitors.
If you’ve been looking for a good relaxing and entertaining game as much lately, just come Fun Games site.

Obligatory Pinned Post
I don’t imagine this blog will get a lot of traction, which is more than fine with me, but I’ll establish some ground rules.
-This blog is 18+. I’ll be posting some of my erotic fiction, aka not for kids. Age in bio or you get blocked.
-I think the content of the stories and my banner will indicate as much, but terfs are not welcome here.
If you want to send asks: -I’m a little iffy on flirting with strangers, it depends on the day. You’re welcome to send a flirty ask, but you’ve got a fifty/fifty on getting a response. -I don’t mind story prompts. -If you like something I write, I’d love to hear it! -If you have constructive criticism, keep in mind that I’m doing this for fun, and any improvement in my writing will be coincidental over time. -I will not give out any personal information if I can help it. -If you need me to tag a trigger or even a squick, I can do it. I won’t be posting or reblogging so much that I can’t be thorough if need be.
I’ll update this post as necessary with rules. I’ll also give a general content overview: All of the stories I post will be extremely self indulgent, so there will be some common themes you’ll notice. Shy trans girls is one, light BDSM will be another common one. I’ll try to tag as best I can but if I miss something, again, let me know. I will also potentially reblog other erotic fiction as I come across it, but I honestly don’t know where to look for it lmao.

Making The Jump From Side Hustle To full-time DJ: What You Need To Know
Dear readers, at the risk of stating the obvious, the New Year is almost upon us. As 2022 edges closer toward the curtain call, we’re looking ahead to 2023.
For many of you, you’ve perused The Lab’s blog, subscribed to my Newsletter, set up some coaching sessions, and taken my online DJ course. As a result, you’re refining business processes, setting goals, and getting into that motivated mindset for next year.
For some DJs, this may look like an increase in qualified leads, hiring a subcontractor or employee, or raising your prices.
For other DJs, their goals may look like finally leaving their day jobs and transitioning into DJing full-time – and this is exactly what we’re covering today. I’m going to dish on what you need to know before taking that leap and discuss how my own experience went.
Let’s dive in:
Get a business bank account
One thing that you should take care of as soon as possible, if you’ve not already, is creating a separate business bank account. Ideally you’ll have a few savings accounts and a checking account so you can allocate funds for income tax, sales tax, and general business income.
Once you’ve made over $600 dollars from an individual entity, you’ve got to report to the IRS. These are just the bare facts, and this is much easier to do when you’ve got an account solely dedicated to business income.
Plus, when you’re paying subcontractors, it should come out of a business account – not your personal checking account.
Identify your ideal monthly income
Set aside some time and really figure out how much money you truly need to make in order to survive and thrive.
This includes all of your bills: rent, mortgage, utilities, groceries, credit card payments, and more. If the amount totals $3,000 – this should be your first financial goal for when you leave your day job. Ideally, you’ll set aside an emergency fund for 3 to 6 months of personal expenses before handing in your notice.
Find out what that amount translates to in terms of gigs per month and per year – for most DJs, depending on the cost of living in their region, the bare minimum is 36 events per year. Set goals to book well in advance so you’re not scrambling to find work month after month.
Planning ahead ensures that you can still survive during the slow months and use that extra time to work on your sales process and marketing efforts.
Know your limits
If you have a full-time day job and your DJ business is growing steadily, there’s going to become a point where you reach critical mass.
Many individuals decide to do both.  Of course, no matter your lifestyle, you will need to put in the work for a while and that may mean working evenings and weekends, but you’re not a machine. Eventually, you’ll need to make a choice.
Once you put your full focus into moving your DJ side hustle to full-time, it becomes easier to manage. Your schedule is easier to fill with gigs, and you can start booking in advance so that you’re, again, not scrambling during those slow months to fill income gaps.
My story:
When I started Toast & Jam In November of 2005, I had 18 weddings booked for the following year. I knew I had the money from those weddings to keep me afloat, and I had a bit of savings as well.
It was fairly brazen – I just quit my day job at the time and bought an ad in Chicago Brides magazine. This ad really gave me the traction I needed, and it was perfectly timed. See, back in the olden days of the early 2000s, a person who wanted a wedding dress or insights on planning weddings would have to purchase a paper magazine.
At the time, The Knot was actually only an online forum, and the power of social media, websites, and a powerful online presence wasn’t a thing. I had to invest in marketing myself through this ad.
I also treated it like a REAL job. A full-time, serious job. I took myself seriously. I even made 100 tiny little jam jars and used a ribbon and hole-punch to attach my business cards. I took them around to all the venues and vendor storefronts and really put my name out there.
It was a different time for marketing, yes, but it doesn’t mean you can’t get creative today. Anyone can post an ad and be successful, but making an impression in this day and age still requires some creativity.
Let’s talk!
At the end of the day, it’s about being self-aware. Do you have what it takes to sacrifice weekends and evenings long term? Do you work better with a ‘boss’ or can you assume the responsibility of being boss, marketing team, sales team, accounting team, and employee?
If you’re unsure about your next steps, let’s chat. I offer 1:1 coaching sessions, and I leverage my near-twenty years of experience to help my clients identify and action their goals.
If you’re ready to take the plunge and quit your day job, check out The Lab. They’re DJ lessons, all online.
The Lab’s training videos are hilarious, valuable, engaging, and super-well produced. They’re also yours forever once you’ve purchased them. Bonus – our videos include a full transcript, so it’s easy to come back and quickly reference what you’ve learned.  Ready to build that DJ empire? Here’s our sign-up form here.

FAQ:
Wait what is this: pretty straight to the point! i’ll regularly share crewfu-related fanfictions to this blog :)
How regularly is “regularly”?: great question! LOL. it depends on the flow of fanfics that get uploaded, which i do not have any control over, but i’m looking forward to do this twice a month. after all, it’s only me doing this and i often run on a tight schedule.
What’s the format like?:
[title of fic with link] by [author of the fic with link] ([main pairing(s), if there is one/multiple], [fic rating: eg, general rating], [relationship: eg, m/m] | [word count in k] ([added prompt to specify if it’s complete or not)])
Summary: [summary provided by the author. if it doesn’t have a summary, a “No summary” prompt will be put instead]
(What does WIP mean again?): Work In Progress :)
Why are you doing this?: from the beginning, my blog has hosted conversations about RPF (real people fiction) and crewfu pairings. this has evolved into people sending me updates about certain fics in the crewfu tags every now and then, but i wanna take the next step and just do these things myself. after all, i’m already lurking in the tags often to see the fics that get posted. as someone who is both a writer and a reader, i wanna appreciate fanfic writers and help out other people that want to read fanfic and consume more fandom content!
Will it be AO3 only?: well, ao3 has a very helpful tag system that makes finding fics incredibly easy, as well as allowing people with no accounts to like and comment on fics, so that’s the site i will personally look in for fanworks. but if there are any fics you’ve written or liked in any other platforms, such as wattpad, you can always contact me through my inbox (send an ask or a dm!), and i’ll make sure to include for the next fanfic spotlight :)
Does it mean you won’t reply to fic asks anymore?: yeah, i guess. since i’ll be doing the searching myself it seems counterproductive. but if i ever skip a fic or again, it’s in another platform, or you’ve posted/read the fic a while ago and you want to get more traction on it, hit me up and i’ll take it into consideration!
Will you read every single one of the fics on your list?: oh no. again, i run on a tight schedule, and also i have my own taste when it comes to fics. i won’t be reviewing fics or any of the sort, and my intention extends to simply sharing these fics to this page so people will have easier access to them :) that’s where ao3 tagging becomes SUPER useful!!!
So what’s the criteria for the way you’ll sort out the fics in your list?: word count, going from lowest to highest. in case of fics in other platforms, i guess i’ll put them at the top of the list. i’ll also be looking for fairly recent fics, so let me know if you want any old-ish fic to be included.
I see you talking mostly about 5up/Steve and Steve/Apollo. Can I still send/see other crewfu fics?: why yes absolutely! my goal is to push every fic which heavily features regular crewfu characters - 5uptic and supdog just happen to be very popular pairings. so, to give you a list: core 4 (5up, hafu, dk, steve), apollo, aipha, annie, janet, kimi, ellum, koji... you know the drill. it doesn’t have to be centered on a relationship, or about 5up in specific, etc. my only requirement is that any of the previously mentioned members are a central part of the fic or are HEAVILY featured in it (sorry, minecraft fics with 50+ tags who only mention 5up as an afterthought won’t make the cut :/).
Isn’t shipping Bad™?: well, it’s a little more nuanced than that. i will go out of my way to discourage and shame people who often violate CCs’ boundaries by acting like so and so has a crush on this person, or that this and that are Actually Into Each Other or secretly dating. any sort of tinhat bullshit is a big nono (think larries). but i run on the assumption that people who write rpf understand that what they’re doing is simply write a completely fictional story using real life personalities, and understand the boundaries necessary to do it - aka they’re not tinhats, they understand they can’t assume everything about CCs’ thoughts and personalities, they understand that what they’re writing is strictly fiction, they keep these works only in fandom circles, etc. (but again, it’s only one me doing this, so please be kind if i don’t happen to know that this person is Actually a tinhat or whatever).
show fic: NO. (seriously. i don’t feel comfortable putting my ao3 account out there. please respect my privacy on these trying times <3)
I REALLY don’t care about your rpf/fic talk: fair! i’ll be tagging every single one of these posts as “fanfic spotlight”, so just mute the tag using tumblr settings so you’ll never have to look at these! likewise, you can follow the tag if you want to keep up with it, or search it on my blog to look at the other entries you might have missed (but this is the first one! lol).
Hey, my fic is here and I don’t feel comfortable with it being shared over here: no problem! let me know as soon as you can and i’ll take it down <3

Please just know that literally NOBODY wants me to shut up about my life situation and just talk fandom shit and original projects and inane jokes, like, more than I do. I promise you my offline life bullshit is not my entire personality, I do not depend or rely on it to get people to like me or feel bad for me, I actually have a hell of a lot going on for me personality wise, creativity wise, humor wise, like people liked me before this shit fucked up my life. I have every confidence I can continue to have people liking me AFTER I’m done talking about it every damn day.
So I promise you, I PROMISE you, no matter how annoyed or tired you get by seeing me post or reblog stuff like my donation posts, nobody wants that shit gone and off my dash MORE. THAN. ME.
But as much as I want to like....never have to talk about all that or reblog stuff about it ever again, I ALSO want to like....not have to exist in the state I currently exist in because of it, because that shit is literally unsustainable. I have been sustaining it as best I can for over five years, and that’s just my physical circumstances. We have to go back to like, when I was five, if we’re talking about the full trauma bingo sheet and all kinds of stuff that I was only FINALLY getting a handle on and moving forward from like....idk maybe ten years ago, before the physical legacy of one of those previous traumas decided to be like HAY BITCH IM BACK. I am tired. Energy and optimism and stubbornness are not infinitely renewing resources. I don’t need perkiness or spunk, I need CHANGE, and I have changed literally everything I can about my circumstances day by day by day just from things I can do myself, with my own person, in my own home, and one of those things I do to attempt to change these circumstances and make them a thing I banish from conversation and never have to talk about again....is in the MEANWHILE....these posts where I talk about them and ask for money and shit.
Thus these two things are in direct conflict. My desire not to fixate on my circumstances, blog about them, make so much of my life both offline and online like, revolve around them....
And my desire to CHANGE my circumstances, so that so much of my life does not revolve around them and I can devote myself and the considerable amount of things I DO have going for me.....to other pursuits than just keeping my head above water and trying my best to stay afloat.
So its like.....please understand that me shutting up about my circumstances? Does nothing, and CAN do nothing to actually change them, and thus in the long run get me more capable of devoting myself and my creativity and whatnot to other pursuits that actually are of interest and enjoyment to other people as well as myself.
Me posting shit about my circumstances and donation posts, even when they don’t get a ton of traction, is at least my ATTEMPT to change things, so I can do all that.
And when in doubt, like, I’m always gonna go with the action/choice that at least has the POTENTIAL to change things, rather than just silently stew so that others can be more comfortable. Sorry not sorry, but I value my own comfort even if I do also want to not detract from others’ comfort or enjoyment, and like.....nothing about me not shutting up about my circumstances in the hopes of changing them is done to like, spite other people or make them uncomfortable. Its literally just so that....things change for me so that I can change things about my own output, interactions, etc.
