Just wanted to take a moment to talk about one of my favorite charlos interactions (this whole video is one of my comfort videos) because I was rewatching it and had some Thoughts.

First, the way they’re arguing like schoolboys over their ridiculous game of who has the more powerful Pokémon (with very mature attack names such as fire farts and smooth tornado), and their shared competitiveness means it is SO important to them that they win over the other.

Second, I love Carlos’ sass while arguing.

CL: “how do you touch me with a smooth tornado?” CS: “Well you must be a thing, what are you? A thing”

Third, the way Charles suggests they call it a draw (because he felt like he was losing the argument but didn’t want to admit defeat imo) and Carlos immediately folds and agrees despite how vehemently he was arguing just seconds before.

Finally, the way their unspoken rule of “we must touch every 5 seconds or we die” is still very much in effect and they manage to hold hands shake each other’s hand despite being at opposite ends of the table.

In conclusion, I am very normal about them (no I’m not).
