Being an idol is far from easy, and being the girlfriend of an idol doesn't stray too far from the path of difficulty, either.
You've been with Minho for a few years now, and over the years you've learned there are many things to get used to and learn to accept when dating an idol. The most common of them all, and the one you happened to get used to the quickest, is the late nights spent at dance practice.
Whether it was for group or solo activities, more times than not you found Minho stuffed inside one of the many practice rooms within the JYP building, practicing not until he got it right, but until he could no longer get it wrong.
You've always admired how hardworking he is, it's one of the many things that made you fall for him in the first place; but your love for that singular trait does not outweigh your worry of him forgetting to take care of himself.
Tonight just happens to be another one of those exact instances. Minho called you two hours ago to let you know that not only was he still in the practice room, but that he would remain there until late tonight as well.
You could only sigh in response as you immediately noticed the exhaustion weaved within each of his words before you let him know you understood. At that point, it was just a few minutes past eleven at night. Now, it's just slightly past one in the morning and you just can't shake the worry you feel for your boyfriend.
So, without another thought, you set out to get food for Minho, bringing it to the company and straight to his practice room.
You stood outside the door for a moment, one hand resting on the handle of the door as your other hand tightly holds onto the bag of hot food. You can hear the music blaring from the other side of the door, accompanied by the sound of Minho's shoes squeaking against the floor with each of his movements.
Not only does Minho have a solo performance coming up, but he's also choreographing the entire performance himself. He's spent every day for the past week practicing for it, working out every little detail to make sure the choreography is perfect for this upcoming performance. Today he wanted to work on some of the details and any parts that weren't quite up to his personal standards.
You could hear his frustrated groans sound through the practice room, and for a moment you considered leaving the food outside the door and texting him to let him know it was there. However, you inevitably realized that if you did that, he might not even see the text until he was leaving.
No matter how many times you do this, you still always feel bad for interrupting him, even if it is for the sake of his wellbeing. You push that thought aside, as you normally do, and carefully open the door.
Your eyes snap to Minho when you walk in, his sharp features and hardened stare immediately giving away his frustration. You close the door just as carefully as you opened it, and you watch his eyes dart to you through the mirror before his expression softens.
He freezes for a moment before he stands straight and turns to you. His expression is unreadable when he approaches you, and you quickly set the bag of food down to embrace the tired, overworked man.
He pulls you into his chest as his arms wrap around your torso. You mirror the action, running a comforting hand along his back as you both stand in silence. His breathing is uneven as he pants against your neck, and you squirm slightly at the feeling.
Naturally, the small action doesn't go unnoticed by your attentive boyfriend, and he smirks before he presses feather-light kisses to the side of your neck.
"Thank you for the food, pretty." His voice dances along your skin in a whisper, and you almost shudder at the tone of his voice alone.
He waits until he hears you take in a breath to speak to press precise open-mouthed kisses against your sweet spot. When he does, your breath gets caught in your throat and you choke out a moan instead of any coherent answer.
He smirks once again, walking you backwards towards the couch that lines the entire corner of the practice room. He reluctantly detaches himself from your neck to pull your top over your head, tossing it on the other couch only a second after. He leans you back against the soft surface, reveling in the sharp gasp you let out when your warm skin connects with the cold leather.
He hooks his fingers into the waistband of your jeans before he hurriedly pulls them off your legs in one swift motion. You let out a gasp at the action, shuffling further down the couch and closer to him with the movement.
You peer up at Minho as he moves to sit back on his heels between your thighs, he meets your eyes as he moves to press his thumb firmly against your clothed clit. You jolt at the contact, letting out a soft moan as Minho hooks his middle finger into the crotch of your panties to pull them off you, too.
Minho pushes the waistband of his sweatpants down until the fabric bunches around the top of his thighs. He spreads your thighs so he can shuffle closer to your bare heat, letting his length brush against your folds as he brings your thighs to rest against his hips.
He briefly looks down at you as he presses his tip to your entrance, you can see the need in his eyes, and when he pushes his tip past your folds as he slowly sinks into you, you watch his eyes darken and his jaw clench. His hands fly to your hips, gripping the flesh hard enough to bruise as he holds you in place so he can sink further into you. Your brain is slowly growing cloudy, but it only takes you a few seconds to understand that all his anger transmuted to need the second he saw you walk through the door.
Minho finally bottoms out, staying still for only a minute before he's drawing his hips back, just to thrust them forward until his entire length is sheathed inside you again.
The sheer force of that single thrust almost knocks the air out of your lungs, and you barely have the time to recover before he repeats the action. His thrusts are slow, rough, and precise, making sure he hits all the spots he knows will have your eyes rolling to the back of your head as you struggle to keep quiet.
Minho quickly finds himself getting lost in the feeling of your warm walls hugging his length perfectly, letting his head loll backwards as he lets out a groan that has you clenching around him. The action only furthers his trance-like state as his hips speed up on their own accord to chase his quickly approaching high.
Without warning, he buries his entire length inside you, stilling entirely as he paints your walls white. You whine at the feeling, squirming in his hold as you desperately try to roll your hips against his to get some kind of friction.
"Fuck, don't move, baby." He breathes out, his voice low and breathy as he continues to hold you in place.
"M-Min, please," you whimper out, feeling him lift your hips with his length still buried inside you.
He brings your hips to rest against the top of his thighs as he stays seated on his heels, your legs falling further apart as your back arches away from his knees. It's not until he leans forward until he's hovering over you that you realize he's still hard inside you.
Minho leans down to nip at your collarbones as he moves to thrust into you again, resuming the same merciless pace as before. You can feel him deeper in this position, and with each thrust, you feel his tip nudge against that soft, gummy spot deep inside you that has both of your hands flying to keep your screams between you and Minho.
You can feel Minho's moans vibrate through where his lips are connected to your skin, and it makes you buck your hips up to meet his involuntarily.
"Min, god I'm so close, please-" you moan out, your hips still bucking up to meet his as you chase your high.
"Don't you dare, baby." He pants out against your skin, his rhythm faltering slightly as he nears his high again, "hold it for me, pretty."
You let out a cry at his words, your thighs shaking with desperation as he once again, buries himself inside you, stills completely, and cums inside you again.
Tears well in your eyes at the feeling of your orgasm fading, your thighs still shaking as you jolt at the feeling of Minho shallowly thrusting his cum deeper inside you.
You feel Minho slowly pull out of you and lift you from the couch, flipping you over until you're on all fours. Your legs feel weak beneath you, Minho notices this and gently places a hand on your back, carefully pushing you into an arch until your front is pressed against the surface of the couch with your ass on perfect display for him.
A groan tears from his throat at the sight, and he rests both of his hands on your ass to knead the flesh as he settles behind you. He lines his length up with your entrance once more, slowly pushing into you so you can feel how deep he reaches in this position.
Through cloudy thoughts and blurry vision, you realize that you underestimated just how frustrated Minho truly was when you showed up. Aside from him cumming twice and still being rock hard, you can feel all his pent-up emotions that have accumulated over the past week in the way he thrusts into you like his success depends on how hard he can pound you into this practice room couch.
You can feel Minho's previous releases spill out of you and drip down your thighs when he bottoms out again, and you're almost positive that's accompanied by a creamy white ring around the base of his cock.
You don't have much time to think about that before Minho's length is moving inside you again. Your eyes immediately roll to the back of your head when you feel how deep he is. Your hands fly to find something to hold onto as his grip on your hips tightens and as his pace picks up.
"You're so fucking full of me, baby." You hear Minho groan out, and you barely register what he's saying until you feel more of his release spill out of you with every thrust of his hips. "Love it when you let me use you like this."
You can barely whine in response as moans spill past your lips, your lungs burning from your repeated sharp intakes of breath. You reach both of your hands back to Minho and he takes your hands in his without a second thought, pulling your arms towards him to use as leverage.
Minho can feel his third orgasm approaching, and he can tell by the way your walls are pulsing around him and the way your moans are coming out broken and high-pitched that you're right there with him again.
"Gonna cum inside you one more time, baby." He warns, picking up his pace as he watches his hips connect with the flesh of your ass with each thrust. "Fuck, you're gonna take it all for me, right, pretty?"
"Yes, yes, yes," you chant, your eyes rolling back when Minho finds that spot deep inside you again, abusing the spot until your whole body is shaking in his hold. "Please! Please let me cum, Min, please!"
"Cum with me, baby."
Your eyes screw shut as fireworks go off behind your eyelids, your mouth agape as loud, breathy moans tear from your throat that neither you, or Minho have the mental clarity to remember to try and muffle. Minho feels your walls throb harshly around his cock as your orgasm finally washes over you, leaving you a quivering mess as you feel the pleasure hit every nerve in your body. He holds back for as long as he can to draw out your orgasm that you waited so long for, and when you collapse against the couch, he thrusts into you one last time before he cums inside you one final time tonight.
Even after you both cum and he stops moving completely, you're still letting out small, quiet moans as you both fight to calm your ragged breathing. You feel Minho kiss along your spine as he softens inside you, and you audibly sigh at the gentle feeling of his lips on your skin, and the relief of your boyfriend finally being satiated.
"M'sorry." He quietly mumbles against your skin, slowly pulling out of you.
You jolt away from the feeling, a small, quiet cry leaving you as Minho kneads at one of your hips comfortingly.
"S'okay." You quietly respond, feeling Minho get up from the couch.
You watch him walk across the practice room, still fully clothed as he grabs something to clean you up with. He gently cleans between your cum-covered thighs before he helps you get dressed.
You sit on the couch for a minute as he stands in front of you. He gazes down at you, a fond smile on his face as he watches you space out. He rests his pointer finger under your chin, pulling your face up to press a kiss to your lips.
"Thank you." He warmly says when he pulls away from you. "For all of this."
For a minute you just gaze into his eyes, your own eyes darting back and forth between both of his own.
"You're welcome." You reply, letting him help you up from the couch.
He grabs the bag of food you set down earlier, looking over the bag with a smile.
"Surprisingly, it's still warm." He informs you with a chuckle, taking your hand in his as he leads you out of the practice room after you both gather the rest of your things.
You chuckle back, leaning your head against his shoulder as you both make your way out of the company building.
"Let's go home." He sighs out after taking a deep breath of the late-night air.
Minho will always be grateful for you and all the ways you go about caring for him, but there will always be something about the way you trust him enough to allow him to do whatever he needs to ease his mind, nerves, and all the negative in between.

hellooo! it's been a while since i've posted anything remotely ooc for maylin and i figured with new events coming out, i would give a refresher and reintroduce my little Ghostbuster here. if you are interested in plotting with her, please give this a like and i will slide into your messages soon~ thank you again for reading through everything and i hope to write with everyone soon <3
  bio. profile. pinterest.
she was adopted at 17, shortly after she was signed into the company. maylin’s parents passed at a very young age, causing her to live with her grandmother for a few years. she has been in and out of foster homes before meeting her permanent parents closer to high school.
maylin grew up with two twin sisters who liked dressing her in the girliest clothes you can imagine. while her relationship with her family is somewhat close, she hasn't returned to visit them for fear that she will disappoint them. she struggles to truly feel part of their family due to not being related by blood.
maylin is dance and rap focused within her career path. dancing is what brought her to the company along with teaching at her local dance studio back in China, but after taking her workshop and truly understanding the importance of having other skills in her pocket, she began to take rapping seriously.
she also dabbles in music composition, creating beats that she could make her choreography with. some beats/melodies are created through her electric guitar. she's no expert, but she has been practicing to get better when she can.
with that being said, she's still trying to juggle being a trainee and a student in college. she is entering her last year as an illustration student and a tattoo apprentice. there are questions about where her priorities lie as she continues to pick up her hobbies (tattooing, piercings, playing guitar, etc). of course, she wants to be an idol but she is setting up a future for herself if it doesn't work out.
she's still into doodling ghosts whenever she is bored or has any spare sheet of paper. maylin has also found a love for the character Kuromi, she believes their aesthetics are the same. if she could be any animated character, it would be her.
maylin is very rough around the edges. she enjoys listening to rock music, all black everything with a hint of white, wearing chunky rings, collecting vintage Vivienne Westwood jewelry, and always painting her nails a darker shade. she doesn’t consider herself a tomboy, but she is not into dressing cute or following the beauty standards of Korea. her closest consists of black, blood red, and maybe some browns.
maylin is known for having a potty mouth and has a harsh approach toward others. her silence can be deceiving, but she is always watching others and making observations on their behaviors. most of the time, people assume she is mean and has an attitude 24/7, but it's just that she is brutally honest and will say the things most people are too scared to tell.
she realized that most people aren't as open as she is, yet she won't hold back simply because of that.
she is not afraid to admit how confident she is in herself, never stepping back on expressing how she feels, and will speak her mind 100% of the time. sometimes she will talk without thinking, causing her to get into a load of trouble.
if you got this far, thank you for reading ;-; i really appreciate the interest and hope that we can plot! i do have a plot page that could be used for reference if you don't want to start from scratch.

bexstevie
stevie's grin is bright, encouraging while he waves his hand around in dismissal. "i think you have it down enough. we can do some more fine-tuning once we've got the whole thing down pat. it'd probably be easier on you if you know exactly what part you're moving into after, anyway!" the other blinks at seira, before shaking his head. "nah, it's okay! the choreography doesn't call for it to be that fast anyway, i'm just used to moving. sometimes i'm told i overperform sometimes." he rubs the back of his neck sheepishly. "go right ahead!" stevie gestures for seira to drink, busying himself with getting themselves situated. he speaks up, "i figure once we get through it, we can probably just go right into the next part? did you have any questions before we run through it? i know i talk fast, so just let me know if i need to slow down a bit." stevie glances up, fully readied as he finishes up waiting for seira. "the next part isn't as grueling, i don't think. it's a lot of timing and making sure your body is in the right position..." stevie babbles off, up until seira finishes up. he shoots a cheeky smile, not embarrassed at all as he bounds back into position. "okay, ready, set and--" another run through. stevie does slow himself a bit, more mindful of how seira is moving. she's not lagging, but stevie finds an easy rhythm in the choreography that feels like it comes naturally. while part of his attention is on himself, the other part is monitoring seira. once they finish to the end of the part, chest heaving, stevie keeps in position, watching seira's reflection more closely. "okay, we'll do this next part in counts-- it'll be a cinch, i promise."
somehow seira had managed to forget how hard dance practice was, twice. she got shocked when she joined next gen, questioned: had it always been so hard? her body was sore after dance practice, and she was out of breath. and there had gone a little more than half a year before she became a trainee, and somehow seira had succeeded in once again forgetting how hard dance practice was, asking the same questions: had it always been so hard? “let’s continue then” she gives a nod “it might be easier to learn the choreography and then focus on all the details after”. seira looks at stevie “sometimes i’m told my facial expressions are too much” … “i think we’re doing fine” she shows a smile to the other.
“no i think it’s a fine tempo” she waves with her hands “if i had been alone i definitely would’ve gone slower, usually don’t learn dances so quickly, but it’s easier when you’re here to help”. “im truly exhausted, but i think we should keep going, if i sit down or take a break i won’t be able to stand up” once again attempts to run a hand through her hair, only to once again being met with her pigtails. “you’re a great teacher”.
though exhausted, seira listens as the other speaks and follows, once again going over the dance, keeping her eyes on herself in the mirror, attempting to spot if there’s anything she can do better. “it looks fine enough?” she turns to stevie “so we can go to the next part now?” she questions. “in counts” she nods “okay, let’s go”.

More than a Memory | Min Yoongi
Tumblr media
pairing | husband!min yoongi x deceased!f reader
genre/cw | extreme angst, five-year-old gibberish, death, much sadness, fatal disease
wc | 1.1k
notes | grab your tissues :’(
✧・゚: *✧・゚:* *:・゚✧*:・゚✧✧・゚: *✧・゚:* *:・゚✧*:・゚✧
Yoongi ran his hands through his hair and sighed. He was composing a new song, but he couldn't come up with a good rap. BTS was releasing a new album in five months and they needed one more song to make it complete.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door to his studio.
 "Come in."
 Hoseok opened the door and stepped on through.
 "Hey Yoongi," he greeted taking the seat next to him.
He quickly noticed the plate of food that Yoongi hadn't even touched.
 "You can't keep starving yourself. It's not going to help anything," Hoseok stated, sighing.
 "I know Hobi, I just didn't feel hungry," he lied. "Where's Jaebyeok?"
 "He's with Tae and Namjoon in the dance studio," he replied. "For a five-year-old, he's got some sweet dance moves," Hoseok chuckled.
 "He does doesn't he," Yoongi smiled to himself. "Well, I'm trying to write a rap for my new song. I already have the melody and vocal lyrics, but I just can't find the right flow," he explained leaning forward to grab his computer mouse and click on the lyrics he had already written. Hoseok examined them.
 "I like it. Also, I have an idea for the rap," said Hoseok, moving towards the keyboard.
He typed away and showed Yoongi the rap. He nodded, signifying he liked it. Hoseok than demonstrated and rapped what he wrote.
 "I love it. Thanks Hobi," Yoongi, smiled.
 "Any time," Hoseok replied, grabbing the plate of food and leaving the room.
 Just after he closed the door, it opened again.
 "Appa!" Jaebyeok shouted, running into his father's arms.
 "Hey buddy," Yoongi ruffled his hair. "What are you up to?"
 "Uncle Tae taught me the choweogwaphy to smoove wike butter!" he said, feeling proud.
 Yoongi laughed at the fact that he called the song that. "Are you going to show me?"
 "Uhh, sure!" he replied, getting into position.
As he danced, he noticed how he redid a move if he messed up. But most of the time, he was in point.
 "Amazing job Jae," he clapped.
 Jaebyeok then jumped into his lip and stared at the screen.
 "Are you witing a new song?" he asked, curiously.
 "Yep. Maybe I'll teach you the choreography too," he smiled.
 "Weally? Yes!" he pumped his fist into the air triumphantly.
He then snuggled closer to his dad and the mood became a lot more serious when he said, "Can you tell me more about Eomma?"
~~~~~
Y/n laughed as she played with her three-year-old son in the backyard's soft grass.
"Can you say I love you Jaebyeokie?" she asked.
"I wuv you!" he bounced up and down, causing her to laugh.
"Okay, can you tell that to Appa?" she asked, pointing to Yoongi who was installing a birdhouse in a beautiful Sakura Blossom tree.
"Yeah!" Jaebyeok shouted.
"Okay let's go," she said, holding his hand as they walked over to him. Jaebyeok then let go of his mother's hand and went to hug his father's legs.
"I wuv you!" he shouted up at him.
Yoongi quickly set down his hammer and picked up his son. "I loved you to Jae," he said, kissing his cheek and spinning him around.
"Give eomma kiss!" yelled Jaebyeok.
Yoongi looked at Y/n. "Did you tell him to say that too?" he smirked.
 Y/n gasped as she placed a hand to her heart. "I would never!"
Yoongi smiled and leaned in anyway. He pressed a sweet kiss to her lips before looking at the sun setting.
"It's getting late. Let's head inside and watch a movie, then finish the birdhouse tomorrow," Yoongi suggested.
"Yay!" exclaimed the child, agreeing with that plan.
Yoongi carried him inside as Y/n watched them. She folded her arms and smiled. She had the perfect husband, the perfect son, and the perfect house. Things couldn't be better.
As she began walking inside, she felt sick and found it hard to breath, before passing out.
Yoongi noticed that his wife hadn't come inside the house yet, so he went back outside after setting his son on the couch with his crackers.
"Jagi?" he called out, looking around.
He then saw Y/n lying in the grass, unconscious.
"Y/n!"
~~~~~
Yoongi played with his hands and tried to stop his shaking leg as he waited outside the ICU. He was alert when a doctor walked out of the room.
"Doctor, Y/n, is she okay?" he asked, breathlessly.
"She's alive, but..." the doctor couldn't bring himself to tell him.
 "But what?" he asked, getting a terrible feeling in his gut.
"She has lung cancer. I'm really sorry," the doctor frowned and avoided eye contact. He hated this part of the job. But it had to be done.
~~~~~
Yoongi held Y/n's hand as she fell into a fit of coughing. It had been four months since her diagnosis.
"I can feel it Yoongi. I’m not going to make it to tomorrow,” Y/n gasped for air.
”You’re going to be fine Baby, don’t talk like that,” Yoongi told her, but he was really trying to tell himself that.
”You know I’m not going to live,” she told him exactly what he didn’t want to hear, but knew was true. “Take care of Jaebyeok for me, okay?” she smiled.
He smiled back to make her happy. “Okay.”
He gave her hand a light squeeze.
~~~~~
It was a dark and rainy day as Yoongi stood of his wife’s grave with his son’s hand in his. In his other hand he held an umbrella to protect the two from the heavy rain.
”Eomma,” Jaebyeok called out to the grave with an extended arm.
”You miss her, don’t you?” Yoongi asked, eyes dried out from crying.
He nodded and clung to his father.
“Eomma…”
~~~~~
“Was she the most pwettiest woman you’ve ever met?” asked Jaebyeok, as he played with the keyboard.
”Most definitely. She looked like an angel.”
”Oh! Angels are so beautiful!” he yelled, making Yoongi laugh.
“Yes they are Jae. Yes they are.”
”Well, I guess heaven needed her because she was an angel. We’ll see her somebody Appa,” said Jaebyeok, not trying to make any sense.
Yoongi was taken aback by his words and smiled slightly. “Yeah. I guess heaven needed her more than we did, huh?”
”Yeah!” he bounced around, having endless energy.
He smiled at his son and noticed how much of Y/n he could see in him. He had her eyes, smile, and personality. Very fun and caring. It brought him happy tears.
”Well if heaven let Eomma stay a little longer, I know she’d be so proud of you Jaebyeok.”
”Weally?”
”Very proud.”
”She’d be proud of you too Appa! Because she thinks you’re so handsome and tawented, and she wuves the songs you write! She told me herself.”
“She did?”
”I never wie Appa.”
”I know Jae.”
Mingi: look me in the eye and tell me he won't be a giggly blushing mess. do it.
Hongjoong: i think he would feel very touched and might tear up if he receives something from his s/o after a long day
Wooyoung: will tease you for bringing him flowers but you later find him arranging them neatly in a vase, filling it up with water and looking for ways to make them last longest
San: probably blushes and mumbles a thank you but you see him hugging the bouquet close to his body like it's precious
Seonghwa: he would be more touched by the gesture rather than the flowers and would likely toss the bouquet away and grab you in a hug
Jongho: doesn't know what flowers symbolise what except for the basic ones so he neither likes to give, nor receive because what if he hands funeral flowers to someone-
Yunho: similar drill as Jongho and Yeosang. Likes giving more than receiving.
Yeosang: is more likely to give flowers to you than get them from you because he knows you like them. Doesn't like the mess of petals they leave around.
Least
And now for the smut: MTL to love you putting on sexy lingerie & doing a lil dancy dance in front of them as foreplay.
Most
Seonghwa: lingerie? yes. you? yes. you IN lingerie? overWHELMING yes, expect no sleep that night. His eyes are going to be on you the entire time you dance for him
San: high-key wolf whistles when you step out in your set, leaning forward in his seat to show just how interested he is. may or may not jerk off to it.
Yunho: may or may not have to close his eyes because he'll bust a nut otherwise. It takes all his self control to not cum when your grind your scantily clad body on you, but he really wants to hold out till the end
Hongjoong: is absolutely enamoured. those eyes of his follow every little step from you so much so that he gets up mid-dance and joins you, having you grind against him to the music, stripping you of your little clothing almost like a choreography. he's subtle.
Yeosang: his patience is thinner than the lace of your panties. expect interruption and being fucked right on the nearest piece of furniture
Wooyoung: this boy is gnawing the inside of his cheek, waiting for you to come within grabbing distance so he can fuck you in those pretty little lacey things you call "clothes"
Mingi: impatient bastard. will likely interrupt your little act and throw you onto the bed. byebye expensive lingerie-
Jongho: he likes the dance, sure, but he's way more eager for what comes next, so keep it short
Least
And now for the feral: MTL to speed up when you ask them to slow down
Most
Wooyoung: he will do it and he will do it with a shit-eating grin on his face while you cry
Yunho: he will quicken his pace and have you blabbering his name, no other way. expect the next day in bed, you won't be able to walk
Mingi: he will do it to tease at first but will eventually slow down
Hongjoong: Will flip you over and speed up, no questions asked till you either safeword or he tires out, kinda depends on his mood tbh
Seonghwa: i feel like he's the middle ground here. He could either be a bastard and grin his Cheshire cat grin and speed up, or he could slow down and worship your body, if he feels like he was being too rough
Mingi: he will do it to tease at first but will eventually slow down, cooing at your trembling body from the overstimming
Yeosang: While he may not speed up, be sure he will fuck you over even at a much slower space (cue the hands and tongue *wink wink*)
San: Halts abruptly to check if you're okay, continues at a much slower pace once he's sure he didn't overwhelm you
Jongho: Lowkey worried that he was too much so he slows down immediately
Alright it's a stretch to say I got anything of value accomplished but I did do SOME stuff, so. ON TO PART 2 of my Wangxian modern figure skating thing.
Part 1 is here
*
When the idea first comes to Wei Ying, they know it's fucking stupid. Like, yeah, there's their usual tongue-in-cheek on-ice style, playing with gender and costume and music to see just how far they can push the boundaries. Their "Shake it Off" routine inspired by that pig from Sing might not have gone over well with judges, but it's a perennial fan favorite.
Tumblr media
(source: https://acegif.com/gifs-of-dancing-pigs/)
At this point, they have a reputation for treating the world stage as an opportunity to put crack (in multiple senses of the word) routines on mocking display, and now that they're doing basically all of their own choreography, that goes, like...at least quintuple. They'd already only barely eked out qualifying for worlds, and putting it all on the line - wasting what could be their last opportunity, as close to the edge as they were, every opportunity could be their last opportunity - for something stupid would be...
...well...
...stupid.
Which, unsurprisingly, is exactly what Jiang Cheng calls them when Wei Ying messages his brother with a link to the music video of Genghis Khan by Miike Snow.
Wei Ying answers him with a single gif.
Tumblr media
(source: https://tenor.com/view/genghis-khan-no-miike-snow-gif-14624612)
Jiang Cheng sends back a selfie of himself flipping off the camera.
Real mature.
Wei Ying resists to reply with any of the first four dick jokes that spring to mind.
(He answers with a Peewee Herman gif instead, "I know you are but what am I?")
Wen Ning, on the other hand, responds exactly the wrong right way: he reacts as if Wei Ying's suggestion is serious and has merit. It's almost like he's never met Wei Ying or anything. Except, then he says,
"This is about your...thing...for Lan Zhan, right?"
And amply demonstrates with a single sentence that he knows Wei Ying only too well.
Which still doesn't explain why he actually thinks that it's a good idea for Wei Ying to do a routine set to Genghis Khan.
Their conversation rapidly devolves into Wei Ying pointing out all the reasons it's a terrible idea, and Wen Ning refuting them one by one.
"The ISU is still pretending gay people don't exist and queers definitely don't figure skate."
"No one from the International Skating Union will be familiar with the source material - they'll never know it's about a gay couple."
"That's a good point, actually. It'd make more sense as a couples routine."
"Not it wouldn't, the whole song is a single first person narrative of longing..."
"It's too short."
"As if the singer wouldn't be willing to do a remix, especially considering how much exposure it would get them! I've already grabbed their e-mail address..."
"How efficient of you. Why don't you just take care of all the details, then?"
"Yeah, sure!"
"..."
What could Wei Ying even say to that?
Fucking Wen Ning, like...taking them seriously, believing them, supporting them...the Actual Worst.
Especially since Wei Ying could never escape the niggling feeling that Wen Ning only did it because Wei Ying had helped Wen Qing by throwing themself on the massive grenade that was the newborn A Yuan.
No, that's not true. Wen Ning and Wei Ying were close well before that. Wei Ying knows that Wen Ning is for real. Which doesn't actually make him feel much better.
There must be a way to convince Wen Ning this idea was sheer idiocy...oh! They have it!
"OMG I could, like, pretend I'm singing the whole song to one of those ridiculous ribbons the Lan brothers always wear..."
"That would be very poignant."
"...that was a joke, Wen Ning."
"No it wasn't? I didn't intend it that way, apologies if my tone didn't communicate over WhatsApp. Should I use an emoji next time?"
"Damn it. I meant that what I said was a joke. What you said in reply was just bonkers."
"What you said was a splendid idea, and I think having a target for the unrequited feels suggested by the song lyrics would give a lot of cohesion to a routine."
"You're serious."
"You're not?"
Which, really, is an excellent question. Wei Ying plays it off like they're not, of course they were joking, why would they be serious, when are they ever serious?
For a hot minute they might have even believed they weren't serious, but.
It niggles at them.
It eats at them.
They think of it at the oddest times, like when they're trying to choreograph their "actual" routine. Or when they're chin-bobbing and eyelid-sinking their way through a third shift. Or when they suffer through their weekly call to Jiang Yanli, trying to sound upbeat and like their life isn't completely off the rails, while she laughs like everything is fine and A Yuan babbles adorably in the background. Or when Wen Ning brings it up, which he does annoyingly often.
Or when Jin Zixuan posts another fucking picture. Which he does...no, "annoyingly often" doesn't begin to cover how incredibly frequently that douche posts pictures of himself canoodling with Lan Zhan. The most recent has Jiang Yanli in the background looking like she's about to cry. The only saving grace is that A Yuan is in the shot, too, and Wei Ying can see enough of a wide smile and chubby cheeks and glimmering eyes to know that the sacrifices they made were at least worth it. Everything Wei Ying sacrificed to protect that child, and they're not even allowed to raise it themself...okay, no, forget it, A Yuan being in the picture is definitely not better. Everything about the picture is awful, egregious, repulsive, made worse by how utterly oblivious Jin Zixuan appears to be to all of it. Wei Ying's positive they're not telepathic cause if they were, that one shot would have been a punch to the face heard, felt, and seen 'round the world. Heck, even Lan Zhan looks on the indifferent side, and Wei Ying would blame him, too, except Wei Ying knows objectively that Lan Zhan always looks like that, and they've never been able to hold anything against Lan Zhan for more than a handful of seconds. Wei Ying blames that on their ADHD attention span, and definitely not on how goddamn sexy Lan Zhan looks literally all the time. Even with the decal on his ribbon looking more like the gloomy storm cloud hovering over his glowering expression.
(Why does Wei Ying have to be the sort to fall for people based on their looks, anyway? Why couldn't they be demi? Lan Zhan's gotta have a crappy personality, right? No...no, Wei Ying knows he doesn't, knows he's kinda shy and awkward but actually sweet, and he and his brother helped with the A Yuan situation, and, and, and...)
And Wei Ying is starting to realize why they're obsessing over the routine: because the alternative is obsessing over Lan Zhan, and they're so damn tired of obsessing over Lan Zhan.
Maybe, if they actually do this routine, they can get this crush thing out of their system.
(NOT THAT THEY'RE GOING TO DO THE ROUTINE! THEY'RE NOT!)
In their idle moments, they find themselves doodling elements: a costume, then a spin sequence (they've finally memorized the best order for point optimization, oh yay...), then a footwork interlude...
(NOT GOING TO DO IT!)
...and then of course they just have to try it out, right? See how it feels? Would it actually fit the music?
So they just...run through that run of steps...a time or two...it feels pretty good...maybe six times...okay it feels amazing...twenty or fifty times...and finally they take a video and send it to Wen Ning.
There's no actual music - Wei Ying can almost never get access to the rink's sound system, they do most of their syncing after the fact with video at home. Thank god they've got a good ear.
Thank absolutely no one that Wen Ning has also got a good ear, and a damn perfect sense of rhythm and sequence, because he watches the 20-or-so second video exactly once - Wei Ying knows it's only once because the upload has a damn view counter - before he messages Wei Ying,
"Oh, you're working on the Genghis Khan routine! That's great!"
Wei Ying kinda wishes Wen Ning was about ten times worse at skating.
Wei Ying wishes they were about ten times worse at well-timed choreography.
With a sigh that, of course, Wen Ning can't hear because they're like 7,000 miles apart and communicate mostly by text chat (video would give away that Wen Ning was - gasp - talking to someone, can't have that, seriously fuck Wen Ning's family) Wei Ying replies.
"Yeah, I'm working on it. I guess. Or something."
"Have you got any costume ideas yet?"
Pfft. Like Wen Ning even has to ask!
They spend the next hour planning out exactly what Wei Ying will make. Better to do it that way, since they'll have to sew most of it themselves, do all the easy parts solo, send the detail work to a professional and pay the premium.
"No, no, you have to let me pay the premium!"
"As if! Fuck no. I can take of myself, you know that."
"I do...really I do...but you realize you don't have to, right? Jiejie and I have been talking...you wouldn't be in your position if not for us...please let us help."
Wei Ying would have interrupted him about three words in if he'd actually been talking. Fuck typed out communication, they actually have to read that entire horking pile of drivel. Wei Ying didn't need the Wens to be a fuck up. If they hadn't fucked up by doing...that...they'd have fucked up some other way. It had only been a matter of time. So, maybe A Yuan hadn't actually been Wei Ying's mistake - he'd been Wen Qing's mistake - but the Wen family would have murdered her, probably literally, or at minimum disappeared her, if word had got out that she was pregnant, that she'd given birth. Claiming the kid as their own? Refusing to say who the mother was? Had been easy, and had kept everyone safe. Jiang Yanli and Jiang Cheng had stepped up to help care for the baby, and Madam Yu had (also literally) whipped them around the family manor before locking them out with only the clothes their back. Whatever. She'd just been waiting for an excuse. If it hadn't been A Yuan, it would have been something else. Probably the next time Wei Ying outranked Jiang Cheng at a competition.
It all worked out for the best.
Basically.
Sort of.
Regardless, Wei Ying doesn't say any of that to Wen Ning; instead, they proceed as if Wen Ning never made the offer, trusting Wen Ning's self-effacing nature to keep him from bringing it up again.
It seems to work.
And if Wen Ning tries to bring it up again, maybe Wei Ying will just mute him for an hour or two, until he gets that Wei Ying does not want to talk about money, as if what they did was with the expectation of recompense, as if any amount of money could pay back what they lost.
Oh, but this is the last thing Wei Ying wants to think about.
Even thinking about Lan Zhan is better than this.
By comparison, planning out potential outfits that fit with what they have in mind for Genghis Khan is a huge relief.
It's not until they've picked out a gorgeous hot pink spandex and Wei Ying has taken some in-seam measurements that it hits them...they really are going to do this.
They're going to put together a routine entirely about how pissed they get that Lan Zhan and Jin Zixuan are (apparently) dating. Not that the two can say it explicitly, something something homophobia, but. It's obvious to anyone with eyes.
Wei Ying is going to make the costume of their dreams - they're still slightly torn over the hot pink, hm - and pick out a dazzling, Swarovski crystal bedazzled ribbon wire thing that in absolutely no way resembles the Lan ribbon (obviously not, just a coinkidink), and rage and punch and spin and axel and toe pick their fucking way across the ice while Miike Snow falsetto's out, "Iiiii go a little bit Genghis Khan, don't want you to get it on with nobody else but me..." and Wei Ying flirts and winks and smirks at the audience as if it's a love letter to every person out there except the exactly one person they actually mean it for.
Lan Zhan won't see anyway, surely he'll be preparing for his own skate.
They may not have even a single healthy coping mechanism, but they're damn good at spilling their guts on the ice for the judges who'll never appreciate them.
At least the audience is gonna eat this shit up.
Just awesome.
There's absolutely no way this can end badly, right?
(to be continued)
Taeyong
I just wanted to rant about everything that happened. So here I am.
So initially I didn't want to watch the concert because of the obvious lack of Taeyong. But i did watch it (ill*gally) on Twitter Live Stream, to see who would cover for Taeyong and how.
Okay, first of all, is it just me or was there an actual lack of preparation and production for the concert??? Like, compare it to SuperM's Beyond Live. The VCRs, the camera direction, the stage, the AR effects... Everything looked so good and exciting. But for this one, they didn't even try. The production was lacking severely and the AR effects were barely used. Everything looked rushed as if they didnt actually plan it set by set. The VCRs were just all the footages from other videos clamped together. There was nothing new or cool about this Beyond Live, even with the increased price. Overall, it looked cheap. I think, the only saving grace of this online concert were the boys themselves.
Secondly, the boys who covered for Taeyong did a good job. Obviously, no one can come close to even performing and delivering like Taeyong but the boys did fine, considering that they had to practice his parts for only 2-3 weeks. And it's a daunting task to fill such huge shoes. The pressure that the boys felt, especially the newbies Shotaro and Sungchan, to try to fill that gap, must have been immense.
But of course, NShittyzens took this as an opportunity to sh*t on Taeyong, saying stupid things like 'XYZ ate Taeyong up', 'ABC made Taeyong's song his own', 'MNO killed Taeyong's part and I think he should've been part of the original line-up instead of Taeyong', 'I hope my bias gets to shine now', 'My faves really took this "opportunity" and showed the world' etc.... Like??? Are you really that dense or just spewing bs like this cuz y'all want attention??? The same thing happened when Taeyong missed the KBS mid-year festival and the other boys covered for him for Kick It.
If y'all truly believe that you're bias only shines when Taeyong is absent, then it shows how insecure you are about you're faves talents and abilities. If you truly think Taeyong's injury is an "opportunity" for your fave, then there is clearly something wrong with you. If you think you're fave ate Taeyong up in any manner, then it shows that you just hate Taeyong. If you think Taeyong is replaceable, then you're doing piss poor job of convincing yourself. Taeyong doesn't need NCT, but NCT needs Taeyong.
He is not just the leader, but also the main dancer, main rapper, sub vocalist, the center of the group and the face of the group. He has also contributed to the group with over 30 songs and has choreographed for some of NCT songs. He is NCT's idea bank, with the numerous times he has come up with something new and interesting for their concepts or choreography (For Example: The Jungle Gym for Neo City tour, the epic finger move and Mark stepping on Taeyong for the Kick It choreography, the chandelier scene in MAW, etc) . Many professionals have constantly praised Taeyong for his creativity and excellent inputs.
Taeyong was there from the very beginning of NCT and has carried the group on his back for 4 years now. And he has always remained kind and humble, even with all the misdirected hate that he faced for years. He always puts himself down and praises all the members, no matter what. He has juggled between groups, 5 comebacks and numerous concerts, this year alone. His schedule list looks like the Bank Statement of one whole year. The way the man has worked for the past 2 years is insane. And upon that, the burden of being the leader of a group with 23 members??? Can y'all even imagine the amount of weight on Taeyong's shoulders???
And yes, the injuries he has constantly sustained for over 4 years now. We have seen various footages of him having neck braces, holding his waist and limping. He has also talked about the continuous back pain or how he was sick for 3 days after shooting a MV. SM had known exactly the extent of his injuries and still overworked him to the bone. Now his waist disc injury has relapsed and we still dont have a statement on his health or time of recovery on ANY of the SM Official Accounts. Not one word. We had to find out through a platform that's barely used and most non-twitteratti NCTzens didn't know about this whole ordeal until after the concert began.
What boils my blood is that SM knew about the relapsed injury way before, gave the boys enough time to practice Taeyong's part, but announced the concert by advertising Taeyong all over it, last Monday. And they literally only made the announcement after the concert ticket cancelation period was over. F*cking money whores! F*ck SM!!!!
The worst part of it all are the NShittyzens. Most of you didn't care about the fact that SM not only neglected the leader's health but also scammed Taeyong's fans. When TyongFs began to get refunds for the concert, some of you accused them and started dictating what they should do with their own money, pulling sh*t like- 'Taeyong as a leader, wants his group to do well. Now he would be sad knowing that fans dont care about the group cuz y'all are getting your refunds'. Really? Cuz most y'all who said this watched the concert illegally, makes it even more funny to me. And its none of you're business, how anyone else spends their money. And if you think Taeyong cares about SM losing money, then you're just stupid. If it's anyone in the whole group who'd say 'F*ck Capitalism!', it's Taeyong. So STFU!
Also, when TyongFs started demanding an official statement from SM about Taeyong, some of y'all went- "You're just a fan. Y'all dont have any right to cross the boundaries of Idol-Fan relationship and ask for personal stuff. Other artist fans didn't get any official statement, so why should you?'. We didnt ask for his f*cking medical records. We just want a statement from SM's official accounts about his health and his time of recovery. That's it. SM has refused to acknowledge the injuries of other artists before, doesn't mean that this pattern has to continue. And as fans, we are entitled to know about the artist, cuz WE CARE...! Cuz a waist disc injury relapsing aint a small thing. The amount of pain that Taeyong is probably enduring right now.... We dont even know the extent of it. We dont know how long he needs to recover or even how long SM will give him to rest. We don't know anything and we are scared. So just wanting a statement about it, isnt 'crossing the boundaries' as you put it. So again, STFU!
Y'all don't care about Taeyong, fine. The least you can do is respect him and not discredit his hardwork. After everything he has done and continues to do for NCT, y'all keep going with the 'Taeyong is the villain' narrative. He isn't stealing your faves lines or screentime. He isn't pushing them back to 'shine more'. He isnt the bad person you think he is. Y'all rejoicing now that he is injured, happy that your faves got to take up Taeyong's part or just hateful saying your fave was better than Taeyong.... It just ain't it.
No other group leader gets the kinda hate Taeyong does, even though he does 5 times the work for the group than any other leader. Yes, Taeyong has multiple positions the group, all deserved. Yes, he is a very charismatic and an amazing performer on the stage, that lures new fans in. Not his fault that he grabs everyone's attention. Yes, he is very talented in so many aspects. But that doesn't mean you get tobblame you're faves mistreatment on him, cuz he himself is being mistreated by SM. So don't come at me with you're 'SM's golden boy' bs! I will taze your ass and watch supernanny as you crawl under the carpet!
Maybe you're right about how you're faves dont get to shine enough when they're on the same stage as Taeyong, cuz his charisma and aura is very magnetic, you can't help but watch him and him only. I thought only TyongFs have this kinda tunnel vision but apparently, all of you have it as well....
Here's the thing. You don't like it when Taeyong gets praised all the time, whether its his dance or rap or anything at all. Cuz you don't like Taeyong. So why are you even focused on him and TyongFs. If I don't like anything, i simply ignore it. So instead of focusing on Taeyong, focus on hyping up your fave (again, by not dragging Taeyong, not even subtly). It ain't hard, trust me.
At least have the human decency to not rejoice over the fact that he is injured. The sh*t i see online everyday, some of y'all have totally lost it.
And lastly, no one can eat up Taeyong. No one can do his part better than him. Hell, no one can even come close to doing what he does. So get that delusion outta your heads. Its embarrassing.
Note
hello! i've recently stumbled across your works and i really love your characterization and writing uwu if it's not too much, is it okay for me to request for a scenario where some actors accidentally found out that their director is actually good dancer? like maybe somebody was watching tv and 'hey doesn't that backup dancer look familiar?' ((you can decide on whoever finds out about it and you can also choose to use izumi's name or just write mc)) AAAA thank you very much! ଘ(੭*ˊᵕˋ)੭* ੈ♡
Thank you, dear! 💕 I feel so happy when I read I you guys like it. Sometimes it gets difficult to not fall into OOC!
I opted to choose Izumi, mainly because I don’t think I’ve written anything with her even though I love her so much! As for the actors, well, couldn’t decided wich one so everyone is making an appearance.
 Hope you like it!  💕
The dorm discovering Izumi’s dancing skills
“Tenma, hurryyyyy”
“Yeah, yeah... Uh? Hey, who didn’t wash their dishes this morning, it stinks!” the summer leader complained outloud, leaving the kitchen with Misumi with the last chopsticks and glasses to place on the lounge.
Tsuzuru entered and looked at the sink, frowning. Indeed, it smelled awful. He walked towards the couches to get the culprit.
“Itaru-san, don’t ask me why, but I know whatever that was in that plate was yours. Please clean it right now”
“Oh shit, my shield fell”
The man in question was laying next to Kazunari and Banri, all of them most likely playing a battle game, judging by the way they were staring intensely at their phones.
 “Itaru-san!”
“Yes, yes, one minute…”
“Dang, Itaroon! You can’t pull something like that to win, I don’t have any more resources!”
Omi put a hand on Tsuzuru’s shoulder when he saw the scriptwriter was about to start scolding them “It’s okay Tsuzuru, we have enough plates. Itaru-san can clean later so dinner doesn’t get cold”
At that moment Juza, Taichi, Muku and Sakuya arrived.
“Ah, Omi-san! After Tenma-kun and Misumi-san finish the table will be set” the cheerily the spring leader informed approaching them.
“At least we get things done quickly, having so many people at Mankai” Tsuzuru smiled tired but gratefully at the four of them “…although it would be quicker if others offered to help from time to time” he looked at the gaming group and a certain pair watching TV.
“Tsuzuru, this program is too important to sip!”
“You mean to skip? Also, I truly don’t think so. That’s one old program you’re watching” he looked around resting his hands on his hips. No one had moved an inch “That indirect was also to the rest of you, you know”
“Noted”
“Aha”
“So you want me to set the table instead of trying to come up for ideas with customes? Fine by me”
Misumi and Tenma entered before an argument could take place “Table’s set. Someone should call Masumi, Sakyo-san and the winter troupe. They were in the practice room with director, right?”
As if by pure summoning, the last spring member arrived, taking off his headphones “…I’m here”
“We are here too!” Tsumugi waved as the rest of the winter troupe entered talking to each other. Their play schedule had been decided and they had had a run through while Izumi and Sakyo discussed the final details for the performance.
“Okay then everyone, time to dig in!”
                                         …………………………..
Everyone sat on their chairs and started moving plates around and refilling glasses with drinks. It wasn’t often, due to the difference in schedules, but some nights the whole dorm got together and opted to eat at the same time. It was a bit of a mess but in the end, everyone had fun.
Citron was still watching silently the TV when he paused it, concerned. Getting up, he headed to the dinner table as everyone ate and talked “Director?”
Izumi looked up, stopping  herself from grabbing the delicious tonkatsu in front of her “You called, Citron? Ah, leave the TV and sit, come on. Omi’s food will get cold!” she motioned the chair that was empty.
He did as told, but kept his eyes locked on her “Director I must ask you an important question”
“Uh… ok?”
He nodded as his chopsticks grabbed some rice “Are you maybe a twist?”
Everyone turned to him, confused, but not surprised. The young woman found herself blinking in confusion too “…Twist?”
Masumi nodded in agreement “You can twist my heart anytime you want”
No one even tried to contradict the young boy, still trying to decipher Citron’s meaning.
“I don’t think Citron means twist”
“…Twix”
“Yeah Hyodo sure, Citron meant Twix. I swear your brain is a fucking sugar cube”
“You are sweet like a twix to me, director”
“Ugh, someone tell the Psycho Stalker off”
“Y-yuki-kun!”
“Citron, I don’t think your phrasing is right” Tsumugi laughed as he saw everyone starting to debate.
The foreigner crossed his arms, deep his thought “Mmm… this word is meant to be a clone… of another person! Is it close enough, Tsumugi?”
“C-clone?!” Taichi looked up from his seat, eyes wide open “Director has a clone?!”
“Guys, come on...”
“Mhm… I might be wrong, but maybe Citron meant if our dear director has a twin?”
Citron gasped “Twin, yes! Azuma’s wisdom is as always precise!”
The winter member received the compliment from the blond with a soft laugh as the rest frowned. Sakuya raised his hand from the other side of the table “U-Um! Why do you say that, Citron-san?”
“You have sisters?” Tasuku raised his eyebrows at Izumi.
“Of course not! I’m an only child”
“But that cannot be. I saw you with my two very eyes!”
“Me?”
He nodded seriously, getting up from the chair and turning on the TV again “I will demonstrate now, the director’s clone!”
Izumi sighed. Why couldn’t they have a normal night? Just for once. It was weekday for christ’s sake. The sudden gasps and exclamations brought her back to reality.
“It really looks like Izumi-san!”
“She looks younger though, is it really her?”
“Waaah, director you are moving so beautifully!”
“Wait, seriously?”
Izumi got up and approached the TV screen, concerned for the amount of attention it was getting “Come on, how can I-“
“That is you, isn’t it?” Sakyo pointed the TV with his head.
As everyone came to the realization that it was indeed Izumi. the woman in question stood there, watching her younger self.
“Oh, you meant that!” she sat on the arm of the couch, forgetting dinner and the fact that everybody was still trying to make sense of it. Their director? In TV? “It’s not been that long but... ” she laughed “Might be the one and only time I made it for a play in a performance, come to think of it!”
Kazunari, who was at that point recording the whole situation, turned his phone towards her in awe “I am beyond SHOCK, director! What play? How come we didn’t know you danced so well? Any declarations?”
She pushed the phone away from her, laughing “I did my studies and entered in the dancing club from my university for a change of peace”
“But this amazing choreography? The moves? Not to mention you are totes on TV!”
She looked  back at the TV and a smiled appeared. Competing in friendly dancing competitions had been nice at the time “That program shows musicals, right? My university dancing club just happened to want to enter the competition and we decided to do a mute dancing play trying to tell a story without speaking. Forgot it had been recorded then”
Everyone stopped talking and looked at each other.
“…Oh”
“That’s right”
“Director had another life before Mankai…”
“Feels weird to think about it”
Izumi blinked confused. Of course, she had tried to make a life outside of acting! It had been rough, but she had had to come to terms with herself that she had to move on, at the time.
“Ey, ey, director let’s dance too!” Misumi grabbed her by the arm and pulled her to the courtyard. She found herself stumbling to keep up.
“W-whoah, Misumi-kun, we haven’t finished eating!”
He laughed releasing her as he tried to copy what they all had watched “That looked fun! What other dances did you do?”
Izumi laughed at his excitment.
“Well, there was nothing specific…?” she listed a few songs on the top of her head. The rest of the dorm gathered around the frames of the courtyard, watching curiously.
“I also want to see director’s dancing!”
“Anyone has a phone?”
“On it~”
“Enough! Why are you…” Sakyo came out too, ready to start scolding when one of the songs mentioned before started playing and saw Izumi’s bright face.
It was as if some kind of adrenaline had been injected into her, enough to make her body start moving along the music, not a single movement being wasted.
It had been a while.
                                       ………………………………
“Oh my, such a stunning view… the turning of grand jetes! If this moment was to be engraved…”
Hisoka frowned next to him “Arisu… you’re too loud. Can’t enjoy it”
“Director… is really good!” Sakuya was practically beaming as he watched Izumi moving around “She looks like a fairy!”
No one there disagreed. Her movements flowed, taking away the breath of every person in that familiar audience. Izumi had never been able to act well, but somehow her dancing expressed more than she could in a play.
Omi smiled at the view and crossed his arms “A pity I left the camera in my room” he looked at his left and saw how Sakyo looked at her.
The blond’s eyes followed her figure entranced, not moving an inch.
A few minutes later, Izumi stopped, breathing heavily after song. She looked up, greeted by a big amount of applause. Were those claps for her? Her cheeks grew hot. She didn’t remember last time she got an applause and smiled bashfully.
“Fufu that was wonderful, Izumi-san”
“Epic. I think I just fell in love all over again, director! Gonna need to post the clip on my instablam!”
“Not bad. I guess currian has another thing she’s good at, uh”
“Well, if we ever have a dancing play, now we know who to ask for notes, isn’t that right, Tsuzuru?”
Taichi gasped in excitement looking at the scriptwriter “Oh man, I definitely want to do a dancing play now, girls would love it!”
Of course, as theatre fanatics as they were, the conversation headed into their future performances.
“Maybe like a musical?”
“But dancing as you act is…”
“I want to do a triangle dance in our play!”
Izumi laughed, gaining everyone’s attention “Okay, okay, this is enough. Let’s go back and finish dinner. Can’t believe you all tricked me to dance in front of you, geez” she still felt her breath uneven from the workout.
“But you did look beautiful out there, director” Tsumugi smiled as he pushed a complaining Taichi and entranced Masumi inside.
Tasuku sighed as he watched everyone returning to their normal behaviors “Well, I guess we must thank you are more an acting addict than a dancer” he sent a small smile to Izumi, placing a hand on her shoulder and going inside to help the adults tame the youngest.
Izumi was about to follow when she heard Sakyo’s voice from behind “You danced well”
“Ah, Sakyo-san, thanks”
He dropped his eyes momentarily before looking at everyone going back to finish dinner inside “…Think you will miss it? Dancing like that”
Izumi lifted her head up and closed her eyes, enjoying the night’s breeze. She had set it aside for so long she hadn’t really been able to think about it.
Dancing to her was like turning back the clock, returning to a previous life that might have been good. However, she had always felt something was missing.
She smiled tenderly. Just thinking about everyone at the dorm made her heart go warm.
“It’s become a good memory to keep”
She tore her gaze away from the night sky to smile at him, assuring him that she was being honest to those words just said.
True. She had loved dancing, but theatre? Ah.
That was her life.
I enjoyed it a lot, hopefully, you guys did too. Have a wonderful day!  💕
Just Flirting
Tumblr media
🧡 Summary: You've had a bit of a crush on Son Dongju, one of your younger friends, who has been flirting with you for the past few years. And during a busy day of practice and hanging out with the other members of ONEUS, you discover that you and him aren't as good at being subtle as you think.
🧡 Word Count: 2,604 words
🧡 Pairing: Reader x Son Dongju (Xion) / Characters: GenderNeutral!Reader; Son Dongju (Xion); Yeo Hwanwoong (Hwanwoong); Kim Youngjo (Ravn);
🧡 Rated: E? / Warnings: Food Mention / Genre: Fluff
🧡 A/N: this took forever, my bad 😔 ily, 📷 anon! It's kinda messily written but I hope you like it 💗
Tumblr media
You always watch fondly when Dongju's members treat him like a kid. You know he isn't one anymore, but it is sometimes extremely hard for you not to see him as the young and charming nineteen year old you met two years ago.
That doesn't mean anything to the excited, happy feelings, the bubbly feelings that bubble in your heart every time he gives you his charming smile, one you've spent almost two years trying not to fall for.
You worked with ONEUS ages ago as a backup dancer, and during that time, you grew close to and befriended them. Despite the fact that you usually don't perform with the boys anymore, you do still work at RBW as both a backup dancer for other groups as well as a trainee, which gives you lots of time to hang out with ONEUS.
In your nearly two years of being friends with ONEUS, you've watched the members grow as idols, as performers, and as friends. You have especially grown close to the maknae line. Very close. They often consider you one of them, despite the fact that you're older than all three of them. Perhaps it's because you've spent the most time with them, what with practicing dance with Hwanwoong and Dongju in your free time.
You have no idea when you started feeling a not-just-platonic attraction toward Dongju. It may have been during ONEUS's Twilight promotions, when you started helping Dongju with memorizing and cleaning up his choreographies, that you started feeling a pull in your heart, but you had tried to ignore it. Being a couple years older than him, you felt awkward about those feelings. It was just a couple years, but it still felt awkward.
But as you two grew together as friends, these past few years, and spent more time together, it became harder to pretend like you didn't have feelings for him. You're almost positive that Dongju has feelings for you as well--you've seen the way he stares at you from across the room, and often flirts with you and teases you--but you tend to try to brush it off or pretend it's just flirting without feelings.
You watch across the practice room, extremely amused as Dongju scolds Hwanwoong for treating him like a baby.
"Baby Dongju-ya," Hwanwoong teases, arm raised to poke and pinch at Dongju's cheeks. You can't help but smile as you watch, laughing with the older members. "Baby Dongju-ya!"
"I'm not a baby!" Dongju scolds, pouting. "Y/N, tell him I'm not a baby!"
You grin, tilting your head as if to think for a second. "I mean . . . I'm older than both of you. So technically, if anything, you're both babies to me."
Dongju rolls his eyes teasingly, but you can't help but smile at him. His smile really does brighten up your day, huh? You smile softly, looking over at the mirror wall of the practice room, and you catch Dongju's eye in the mirror. He blinks, shoots you a wink, and you quickly look away. If you're visibly flustered, Dongju can definitely see it in the mirror.
"Alright, kids," Youngjo says. "Back to practice. We have promotions to prepare for and a video to film next week. Throw out your garbage and let's get back to it."
Everyone moves to their feet, including you. After dusting off your pants, you place your water bottle against the wall with the boys' and stretch your arms across your body.
"Gosh, my shoulder," you grumble. "I think I slept on it wrong."
"Would our Y/Nie like a massage?" Dongju asks from the middle of the room, prepared to start practicing the routine. You wrinkle your nose at him, and he winks teasingly.
"Thank you for the offer, Dongju, but no thank you."
"Are you sure?" he asks, shrugging when you nod. "Your loss."
Tumblr media
The seven of you have been practicing (all day, and since the members are getting ready to promote again with this choreography, you offered to help them practice--despite the fact that you all know that your presence doesn't always help with keeping everyone on track. You aren't sure when everyone's heading back to the dorm. There isn't a plan for when everyone will be heading back to their dorm, but you know it'll be late, which is why Youngjo ordered some more takeout.
"Okay, since I ordered, who's gonna pick up the food?" Youngjo asks from where he's sitting on a foldable chair in the corner of the room.
"I can go," you say, standing from your spot on the floor. "You six need to practice for your performance. I can go."
"I can come with you, Y/N," Dongju says, also getting up. You frown, and he shakes his head. "Don't worry, I'll be staying here late tonight practicing extra, either way. I'll be fine with missing a bit of practice."
You shrug, but you're secretly happy that he's missing about half an hour of practice to accompany you in getting take-out for the group. Makes you feel . . . you can't explain it. You're grateful to spend the extra time with him.
You, looking at Dongju, nod toward the door. He smiles his annoyingly charming smile and follows you out, grabbing something and waving goodbye to the members before following after you quickly.
You and Dongju walk outside the building. It's late, but not too late. You can't see the sun at the moment, but you can tell from the color of the sky that the sun must be just above the horizon from behind the city buildings. It isn't super busy, so there aren't a lot of cars out. You can hear Dongju's footsteps behind you. The weather is a little chilly, the cool air biting at your nose and cheeks. You realize you forgot your coat in the practice room.
Ah, I'm not gonna drag Dongju all the way back upstairs, you think. It'll be fine. It isn't that cold. I'll be fine.
Dongju catches up to you so that he's walking right next to you.
"You aren't cold, are you?" Dongju asks. You blink and frown.
"Oh, me?"
He laughs a bit. "Yes you, silly," he teases, poking your cheek. "Your cheeks are all rosy and cold."
"Oh, are they?" You put your hand on your cheek, where he poked. Your cheeks are a little cold. "I mean, I am a little chilly. But it's okay." He snickers a bit, and you frown. "Ya, Dongju-ya, what are you laughing about?"
"Nothing, nothing. Here." He holds up something he's been holding this entire time. You blink, and realize it's your jacket that you thought you forgot at the practice room.
"Oh, thanks," you say, your face heating up for no reason at all. You take the jacket and pull it on over your shoulders.
"Of course, pretty Y/Nie."
The two of you walk to the take-out place. It isn't too far, and you both have made this walk before--just not alone together.
You two continue to walk together, talking and laughing together about plans for the coming week. The boys will be filming a choreography cover video soon, and have been preparing and practicing to film it. Dongju mentioned he's been feeling a little less nervous about being center, which you celebrate.
Eventually, you and Dongju arrive at the restaurant. You pick up the two bags of food from the takeout table, and as you head out, Dongju takes one of the bags from you.
"Oh, you don't have to."
"No no, I want to," Dongju says.
You grin. "Your loss."
Tumblr media
"We're back!" you yell as you and Dongju enter the practice room, bags of food in hand. The members burst into applause, celebrating either you and Dongju's return, or the arrival of food. Probably the latter.
You set the food down on the table against the wall and stretch your arms in the air, yawning a bit. You and Dongju set up the food for easy distribution among the members, opening the boxes and setting out the utensils to use.
By the time you two are both done, your hands are both a bit sticky from whatever spilled or leaked from the food boxes, so you both dismiss yourselves to go wash your hands in the restrooms down the hall.
When you return to the practice room, the boys are already sitting on the floor, plates filled with food, except for Youngjo, who is still serving himself. It appears that Dongju hasn't returned from washing up himself. You join Hwanwoong at the table, filling your own plate with food.
"How was you guys' walk?" Hwanwoong asks, adding some more noodles to his plate. "Not too cold, was it? When I checked the weather, it said it'd be a little bit chilly."
"It was fine," you say. "Not too cold."
"No? I could have sworn someone left their jacket at home," Hwanwoong teases, bumping your shoulder a little bit.
"I did, but Dongju brought it out for me," you say.
"Oh, little Dongju did? Cute. I'm not surprised," he says, stepping back to let you get some noodles.
"Not surprised? What do you mean?"
"His feelings for you, of course. And yours for him," Hwanwoong says.
Keonhee snorts from the center of the room, and you turn to face him. "Y/Nie, do you think none of us have noticed?" he asks.
"Noticed . . . ?"
Keonhee rolls his eyes. "You and Dongju have been flirting for the past year or more. You might both be oblivious to each other's feelings, but you're so obvious to the rest of us."
You blink. "Excuse me?"
"You and Dongju's flirting is so obvious!" Hwanwoong says. He sits down, food in hand, and Youngjo gives him a scolding look.
"Hwanwoong. Keonhee. Stop teasing," Youngjo scolds. "Sorry, Y/N."
"No no. Please, tell me," you say, setting your plate aside to cross your arms over your chest. "So you've all noticed something. Some flirting. But feelings? Him for me?"
"Of course," Hwanwoong says. "Did you think you were both flirting without any feelings?"
You blink. "Well I didn't . . . Maybe I've felt . . ."
Hwanwoong raises his eyebrow at you. "Come on, Y/N. Maybe? Be honest, at least with yourself. Maybe it's more than just flirting without feelings. It is for Dongju, I know that." You pause, and nod at Hwanwoong, considering, for a second, your own feelings.
Suddenly, the door opens and Dongju enters. You quickly turn back to the food, pretending like nothing was being talked about. Nope. You and Hwanwoong and Keonhee were absolutely not talking about your not-so-secret feelings for Dongju.
"Dongju!" Hwanwoong says. "The food is ready. You should grab some before we continue practice."
"Okay?" Dongju says. You can feel his eyes on you for a second, before he walks over and grabs a plate.
Tumblr media
The members have all filtered out of the practice room at this point to go their separate ways, either to the dorm or the recording studio or elsewhere, all but you and Dongju.
"Bend your knees a bit more, it'll let you spring off better to cover more distance next step," you advise. Dongju bends his knees more. "There you go! Now, run it through one more time and we'll be done, okay?"
Dongju goes through the choreography again, bending his knees more at the specific parts you said to, or angling himself one way a bit extra. Afterward, as you're both packing your things, Dongju offers to walk you home. At first you decline, but you can't resist his puppy-dog eyes.
You let Dongju walk you home. The walk, for the most part, is quiet. It's much darker than the walk to get food was, and a little bit chillier on your face. Thankfully, you remembered your jacket. On your own, too.
"Thanks for walking me home, Dongju," you say, nudging Dongju's shoulder. You're only a few minutes away from home now. "Ya. Next time, I'm walking you home, deal?"
He snorts. "Sure. If you remember."
"I will."
You two continue walking in almost silence for a couple minutes longer. You glance over a few times at him, and a couple times, you meet his eyes and it gives you those funny, butterflies-in-the-stomach feelings.
You think of what Hwanwoong and Keonhee had said earlier today. Consider your feelings, your flirting with Dongju. What Hwanwoong had said.
"Maybe it's more than just flirting without feelings. It is for Dongju, I know that."
"Hey Dongju?" you ask, stopping on the sidewalk.
"Hmm?" He stops, a few feet ahead of you, and turns to look at you, eyebrow raised, and for a second, you consider not asking. But you already got his attention. Might as well.
"There's something between the two of us . . . I don't know what it is, exactly, but I know you know what I mean," you say.
"What, this playful flirting thing, darling?" Dongju asks. You feel your face heat up, and almost stop breathing.
"Yes, this playful flirting thing." You inhale. "What does this . . . mean for you?"
"What do you mean?"
"Well, are you just flirting for fun? Or are there feelings behind it?" you ask. "I just want to be on the same page here."
He stops on his tracks, and you have to turn to look at him standing in the middle of the street.
"I mean . . ." He chews on his lip a bit. "I'm not gonna say there aren't any feelings. Because that would be a lie. But . . . are there feelings for you?"
You inhale sharply, and you can't help but break into a laugh. "Perhaps. You?"
He chuckles. "Perhaps," he says, shrugging his shoulders and moving the same way you did. He's teasing you, and you know it, mimicking you as he usually does.
You wrinkle your nose at him playfully. "Perhaps. Perhaps you'd like to . . ."
Dongju raises his eyebrow. "Like to . . . ?"
"I don't know, take a step beyond just. Playful flirting? Start dating or something?"
Dongju grins a bit, and winks playfully. "I'd like that."
Your face heats up even hotter than it already is. You're sure your face must be burning by now.
He continues walking, and you follow, reminded that he's walking you home.
When you reach the doorstep of your home, you turn to say goodbye to Dongju. When you open your mouth to say something, he stops you.
"By the way, Y/Nie," Dongju says. "I did hear your conversation with Hwanwoong earlier."
You blink, face getting all hot. You're flustered. "My . . . about our flirting?"
He grins. "Yep. You two need to be less loud when talking about things like that."
"Wait, so you knew I liked you back for the whole last part of practice, plus this entire walk home, and you didn't tell me?"
He shrugs, grinning his little, mischievous smile. "I wanted to wait until you told me yourself when you were comfortable enough, silly." He leans over and plants a quick kiss on your cheek. "Good night, Y/N-ya! Sleep well!"
You blink, almost speechless, and watch as he starts to walk away. "Ya, you brat! You can't speak informally like that, Dongju-ya! I'm older than you!" you call out.
"Sorry Y/N," he says, grinning widely as he bows. You can tell he isn't sorry, but in all honesty, you're too whipped to be annoyed.
You wave goodbye, and you can't stop smiling even when he's disappeared from your sight. You're just so happy as you open the door and make your way inside into the warmer building. You're smiling so dumbly but you can't help it. You're just so happy.
SHE
— in which juliet reveals her darkest fears
characters / juliet kang, boo yuna
words / 1.8k
warnings / this is sad, angsty and quite a heavy piece, mentions of past self harm, suicidal thoughts — if i missed anything please let me know!
Tumblr media
Juliet’s always felt like this. She’s always felt like crap, right from the beginning. She’s not entirely sure what caused her to feel bad today, maybe it was the fact that she had woken up at six o’ clock today which would be the third day in a row she’d woken up after the sun had gone down, or maybe it was because she had missed two dance practices and the third was looming over her as she chose to lay in bed in the darkness instead.
With the comeback happening awfully soon Juliet knows she’s disappointing her trainers, she’s disappointing the team, heck, even disappointing the company as Jangmi would say. She wished she could get out of bed but it wasn’t that simple, something was dragging her down, she constantly felt as though she had this weight on her shoulders and no matter what she would do it would never leave her.
As long as she’s known, she's always had this weight. She was hardly the favourite child, never the girlfriend or never even the ‘best’ friend, she always thought she had little to lose. Juliet would care more about her role in life if only she hadn’t realised she was nothing but a downgrade or a placeholder at such a young age, still, she felt weighed down. Lately, the weight had become more and more suffocating and way more harder for her to deal with, like it was pushing her down into a deep river and drowning out any last positive thoughts she could conjure up.
She’s tried all the remedies. She has used her mother’s advice of getting up and out, enjoying the outside world, getting some exercise in but that never worked. She’s tried to find healthy coping mechanisms, art, dancing, singing, but now she’s not even sure if she likes it anymore. This job has taken so much from her. She used to enjoy the rush of performing on stage, the cheers would give her so much adrenaline and the fans always made her day. Now every day is more draining than the last, the choreographies bored her and she could barely muster any energy to sing.
None of those so-called solutions worked, they never did. Even the temporary relief from the bad decisions never lasted as long as she wanted it to, as long as she needed it to. Her hand fell down to her thighs, the scars were faint, a simple reminder of just how much she feels all the time. She has regrets, god she has so many. She can never get back all the dignity she had lost during those months, sometimes she questions if she wants it back. Was her dignity even worth losing? It’s not like she had much of it to start with.
Some days she wishes she just hadn’t run away and auditioned for SM, then maybe she’d still love the things that used to make her happy. Occasionally, she does imagine what her life could have been like if she didn’t audition for SM, for one she thinks her parents would love her a lot more than they do now, not that they’ve ever said it. She could’ve continued down whatever path they chose for her, making them “the happiest parents ever” and her brother wouldn’t have had to carry the burden of fulfilling the family legacy — not that having a baby at the ripe old age of nineteen was really helping that.
She liked to describe her life as a line, a long red line that would twist and knot with every significant moment. To Juliet she felt as though she could just cut the line at any point, no thoughts. Just like the fates, she was Aptropos and she had the shears to decide when things would end. She always thought, what was the point of continuing the line if all that was left were ugly little knots.
“Hey Juliet! Where we–”
She hadn’t realised it until her bedroom door had burst open but she had balled herself up into a corner on her bed, her hands were bunched up in her hair and strands had fallen all around her.
This was probably Juliet’s worst fear, someone seeing her in one of her weakest states. She didn’t want to look up at whoever just came in, simply hoping that they’d leave.
“Are you okay?” It was Yuna. She sounded uncomfortable, she wasn’t sure what she should do, Juliet was clearly not okay, anyone could see that.
The silence was thick between them. Juliet had started shaking, almost rocking back and forth in her corner.
“Juliet?”
“I don’t know what to do,” Juliet’s voice was shaky, “I don’t know what to do.”
“What are you talking about?” Yuna kept her voice soft, quickly closing the bedroom door and rushing over to the bed.
“I-I keep having these th-thoughts and I’m so scared, Leyla.” The last half of her sentence came out more like a choked sob, her English just barely coming out. She had to admit the truth to herself, she’s scared. She’s scared of everything. Every year always seems to add on something worse to the last and she couldn’t take it anymore. She feels hurt, even when she’s not supposed to be. She doesn’t know what to do anymore and she’s afraid of the places her mind can take her.
Yuna’s eyes widened, she had called Yuna by her English name, something she was so sure the other girls had forgotten about. God, Yuna hadn’t heard that name in ages but in all honesty she loved hearing it again and it warmed her heart that Juliet had remembered, even that she had called her that.
She placed her hand on Juliet’s back, finding that she was freezing cold. Yuna was not expecting the face that had greeted her when Juliet looked up. Juliet’s face had been replaced by what looked like the shell of her once bright expression. Her eyes were deep-set and dark, her cheeks hollow and her skin so pale it almost looked like she was dead. Her mind raced as to what could’ve possibly got Juliet to this state, she always seemed so happy.
“It’s okay, this will pass.” She wasn’t sure exactly what to say in this situation, if Juliet’s talking about what she thinks she’s talking about.
“You don’t understand! It won’t!” Tears ran down Juliet’s face like it was nothing, she doesn't even notice them anymore. “Do you know how many times I’ve heard that? How many times I’ve repeated that to myself in hopes that it would come true?” She knows her anger is misplaced, Yuna’s just trying to help, but she can’t help it.
“I’m so tired, Leyla, I just want to go,” Juliet swallowed thickly, “I just want to go to bed and never wake up, I’m tired of living a life that I can’t enjoy.”
“Jules...” Juliet could almost hear the disappointment in her voice, just like everybody else she’s ever dared to tell this to. She drags her eyes away from Yuna’s and down at her duvet, she really didn’t want to know what Yuna was thinking.
“Can I just talk to you? Like just... just words, between us?”
Yuna nods, propping herself up on the bed, shivering as her back touched the cold wall. She pulled Juliet into her, if there was one thing she always knew to do it was to keep her close in her arms.
“Everyone has something they hate, right? Whether it be irrational or not.” Juliet fidgets in her seat, “I don’t know about everyone else but mine’s irrational, so irrational you’d probably think I was disgusting.”
Juliet could just tell Yuna’s chuckle was slightly forced, anyone would try and laugh in what felt like such an uncomfortable silence.
“It’s showering. I hate showering, it’s so... vulnerable and I can’t stand it.” Even she had to laugh just at how pathetic she sounded. “You know I try, I do, I can’t just not shower because that actually would be disgusting and that’s not what I want. It’s just that everytime I think I’m okay I go and have a shower and suddenly every bad thought I’ve ever had comes rushing back.”
Yuna can only nod in understanding.
“Ever since Lyra left I’ve had to drown out silence with anything, usually it would be music but some things I just can’t bear to listen to anymore and it sucks. It’s like everything that happened to her was my fault and I can’t handle it. I can’t be left alone anymore, I can’t and I know this. However, there’s nothing I can do to change that.” Her tears had stopped, instead her head was turned away from Yuna’s, resting against the wall and on top of her arm.
“I feel like whenever I’m around other people I bring destruction, y’know?”
“Oh that’s not true!” Yuna frowned.
“How would you know? No offence but you’ve only been in my life for like a year and a half and clearly you haven’t seen everything.” Juliet scoffs.
This would be the perfect time to tell her about what really happened last year but Juliet quickly decided that that would be another can of worms she’d rather not open. Not now.
“Well that’s gotta stand for something, I mean you haven’t hurt me and I don’t see you doing it in the future.” Yuna’s hopeful, Juliet’s glad that she is but she knows the truth — that she’ll always push those closest to her away until it’s far too late.
“And hey, if you can’t be alone then you don’t have to be!” She squeezed Juliet’s arm, “I’ll always stay by your side and if you get sick of me I can go but I’m always available!”
For the first time in a while Juliet smiled, she genuinely smiled. It was comforting to know Yuna wasn’t going to give up on her, she knew that any of her other members would probably give her the same sentiment but she’d known them for three years and they all had their own shit to deal with, none of them would ever really stick by her side at all times. Of course she had no way of knowing whether Yuna would live up to her words but through the year she’s known her she didn’t think she wouldn’t. Yuna seemed like the sweetest, even back when she watched her on Produce she was only nothing but nice to the other trainees, and she always looked a little lonely around the dorms, she didn’t even have a roommate which wasn’t exactly helpful when moving into a group of six other girls she didn’t know. It wouldn’t hurt for them to bond a little.
She stuck out her pinky finger, “Promise?”
“Promise.” Yuna grinned, locking her pinky into Juliet’s.
nct 127 reaction to: idol!reader having a sexy performance with another male idol
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
REQUESTS ARE: OPEN
please feel free to send requests and ask if you want to! also you can interact with me as much as you want ♡
taeil
you were doing a special collab with Moonbin from Astro on the Gayo Daejun. When you saw the choreography you knee it was little sexy but it was cool and Moonbin is a really nice dancer and a really respectful and kind boy, so even tho you were a little bit out of your comfort zone, you felt good.
Taeil would he kinda jealous when he knew you were spending so much time together but then he didn't mind that much. When he was watching the performance instead of feeling jealous he was really startled from your performance, when it started being kinds touchy he would be a little annoyed but nothing so deep. In the end, he would be proud because you did a good job.
you were doing an special stage for MAMA awards and it was a performance with Wooyoung from Ateez. He is a really nice and kind boy so he made you feel really comfortable even though the dance was really sexy, more than what you have done before. You were really confident about this dance and you had an amazing partner to perform with.
Johnny is really confident about himself and your relationship but he can't deny he was impressed by the level of sexiness of the performance. He watched his steps carefully and started to feel jealous so he tried to hide his expression, he felt a little annoyed but he knew you were excited about it so it would be unnecessary if he made a jealous scene on something you liked so much.
taeyong
this is your first duo perfomance, you have done some group collabs before and this was different and you were really excited about it. This collab was with Kihyun from Monsta X, he was really nice to you and it made the connection between you two become better so you felt good even tho this was a sexy performance. Since it was your first duo performance and it was a sexy one you were really nervous but you were really hyped anyways.
he is a really supportive boyfriend so he wouldn't overthink if you were with another boy, he might became a little nervous because he would like to be spending all of that time with you, but he didn't really mind. As soon as you came out he was really smiley and felt proud, the performance started getting hotter but instead of being jealous he was startled and impressed so he would compliment you after.
yuta
on the coming Gayo Daejun you were told that you were doing a duo performance with Mingyu from Seventeen, he was really fun and had a great personality so you were joyful during all practices. Since the performance was sexy you were kinda nervous but Mingyu would joke around a lot and it made you feel comfortable.
Yuta was jealous since he knew you were performing with him but didn't wanted to make you feel bad but he was a little annoyed. At the second the performance started he notice how hot it was and he wished he was by your side, he tried to hide his jealous face. He would feel proud of you and let you know you did well.
doyoung
since you are the main dancer from your group you entered a new dance show and this week you were choose to perform with Felix from Stray Kids, the concept was a sexy one and you were excited since you were curious to try those new type of dances. He was kinda shy but excited as well so you could relate to his emotions and make your perfomance better.
Doyoung felt a little bit upset because he wished he did that type of activities with you but he wasn't as confident about his dance. Either way he felt proud of you since you entered the show because he knew hoe much you loved dancing so he wanted to show all of his support to you.
jaehyun
You were happy because you were having a solo performance and a duo at MAMA awards. The duo was with Jungkook from Bts, you were really excited because he is a really great performer and you are a fan his. When you start learning the choreography you realize how sexy is it, to be honest you enjoy those types of performances but you never did it with someone else.
Even tho Jaehyun is friends with Jungkook he started feeling jealous that you were spending so much time together, just the two of you. He wouldn't say it since he doesn't want you to be upset, because he knows you are enjoying it and aren't doing anything wrong, but he can't help it to feel like that. When the performance started, at the firsts seconds he was surprised because it was sexier that he thought, he would put on a serious face and try to focus on you, but he really wished he was the one dancing with you.
winwin
the MELON awards are coming up and you were performing a really sexy dance with Jay from Ikon, he was really friendly to you and it made you feel comfortable, he would play around a lot to make you distress. You enjoyed the whole process of learning and doing this whole choreography.
Winwin was excited and had his palm sweating just for how excited he was to see you perform, since dancing is his biggest passion he felt jealous that he wasn't able to perform with you but really didn't care about the type of dance you are doing, so when you start giving that sexy performance with Jay he would just admire your moves and compliment you a lot later (and maybe tease you a bit).
jungwoo
one of the performances on Gayo Daejun was going to be interpreted by Yeonjun from Txt and you, this was one of the biggest events of the year so you wanted it to be memorable, and it was going to be, since the dance you were doing was a sexy one. You are shy with those styles but you enjoy the anyway, Yeonjun is a great dancer and he is always there to help you and make you feel free.
he would be kinda shy and nervous about seeing you do this type of performance but proud of you. As soon as he sees you he would become flustered and might smile a lot, he wouldn't mind about Yeonjun too much jut lowkey he would like to collab with you too, even if it isn't that type of performance.
mark
it's been a long time since you did a special performance, and now you were dancing with Seunghun from Cix at Gaon Awards. This was a sexy perfomance but you were completely into it, he was really nice and always set a good mood for the practices so it made you be even more excited about the while thing.
Mark would be a little annoyed because he got to do a stage but it wasn't with you and he would have liked to share the stage with you and that's the only thing that had him thinking. He looks at you and you look so good and confident that it took away any thought and he just smiled feeling glad about this experience he would become a little serious when you two come too close but nothing to serious lol.
haechan
you were part of a new dance show were you performed with different idols weekly, on this occasion you were dancing with Park Jihoon. You felt really comfortable since he was a little shy just like you and it was the first time for the two of you to do this type of dance with a partner. You practiced a lot and the final product was probably gonna be so good since you really connected with each other.
when he knew you were performing a sexy dance with another idol he was kinda jealous about it since he really wanted to do that with you, he felt a little envious and even let you knew about it. As soon as you show up on the tv screen he felt really proud because you are so talented he would be a little annoyed by some parts but he would just tell the members about it.
My favourite Indian films of 2018
Sorry for the wait this year. 2018 in the movies mirrored my own life a lot; the films on the list are films to love, make you feel something human, and they force you to take their characters and hold them close to your chest as if they were your own. While the most interesting mainstream movies from South Asia over previous years on this blog have excelled when they chose to experiment with the language of cinema itself, the 10 I’ve written about here have, similar to great literature, embraced pain, longing, love and everything else that comes with being alive.
10. Theevandi
Tumblr media
I’ve seen this film being described as an “anti-smoking movie.” I couldn’t disagree more. It’s a story about the nature of habit (rather than the disease of ‘addiction’), of locating the source of your personality, your soul, and trying to change it against the will of nature. During my time in India this year, nothing brought more joy than an ice burst and cutting tea at the side of the road, perching on the side of the pavement and watching life carry on around you. And while this is a film with a main character who wants to quit smoking, it isn’t about cancer. It isn’t about that horrible sooty smell at the end of your fingers, or yellowing teeth or a decreased sperm count. It’s about how something as innocuous as a tube of rolled up tobacco hanging out of your mouth can act as a fragile crutch for the entire weight of the world.
9. Laila Majnu
Tumblr media
Like many of my favourites this year (and every year), this re-telling of one of South Asia’s most important romances wants to know what love is. Here, we see love not as a generous, giving emotion, but as pure greed. With one of Bollywood’s most gorgeous soundtracks, that bleeds furiously out of every frame, and a constant sparkling gleam of glamour over these gorgeous young actors and the Kashmiri hills they prance around in, I enjoyed this enough just based on the commercial tropes it toys with for fun. But its real beauty lies in its brave and painful final declaration; that the most divine love may connect you to God and remove your soul from your body, but it will destroy you and your connections to the Earth, as the cruelest form of asceticism.
8. Cake
Tumblr media
I’m including a Pakistani movie (again) because our film industries were birthed under one national identity, and I don’t see the studios of Karachi as any more culturally distant from Mumbai’s Film City than Kodambakkam. Moving to Cake, this stunning portrait of a dysfunctional family surprised me against all my instincts that it was a Western-facing production clearly aimed at piercing its way into festivals and a patronising ‘World Cinema’ bracket. It is in fact, a study of shifting societal politics in an increasingly extreme and polarised World, of figuring out where your values stand in the midst of religion, feudalism and globalisation, and accepting that when these heavy, abstract concepts weigh down on your shoulders, it is the human beings around you who will feel the strain first.
7. Golak, Bugni, Bank Te Batua
Tumblr media
I really love Punjabi cinema. Seeing it come into its own and reclaim its cultural narratives and aesthetics from bastardizing Bollywood (where now even a film set in rural Gujarat will feature a Punjabi language song) has brought a lot of joy. Now here comes a  happy little film not set on preaching the glory of Sikkhi or telling an epic tale of brave warriors or earnest farmers, but on bringing us into the lives of a middle class Hindu Punjabi family in a small mohalla of a tier 2 city. And these aren’t the Hindu “Punjabis” of a Bollywood movie set in Chandni Chowk, who might throw in a “tussi” or “tuadi” here and there at the most. These are real people with a real culture, as intertwined with Punjab and their Sikh neighbours as they are separate. The film doesn’t patronise them by drawing humour from their novel identity; the situational character-based slapstick and witty back-and-forth theatrical dialogues exist in a warm parallel with the “World” of the movie. And then the lives of these people change in one instant as demonetisation hits, and we are hilariously reminded that whether you’re Hindu or Sikh, Northern or Southern, you are (unfortunately) still in India.
6. C/o Kancharapalem
Tumblr media
I won't say this film stood out as a "Telugu movie", as such slight, subtle films are an anomaly no matter what language they're made in or how brash those other films produced in the same mother tongue may be. These small and quiet tales, with their shy characters who live at the fringes of society, whether that mean they are Muslim prostitutes or simple middle class teachers carving out a living in a small village, are special because they manage to transmit such humanity without stirring from the dark alleyways or shaded courtyards where they take place. Not every film needs to stand tall like an intimdsting Tolstoy tome; some can be as unassuming as an RK Narayan novella and still make us feel like they're an epic.
5. Pyaar Prema Kaadhal
Tumblr media
Let's be honest. Casting two leads from a reality show, putting heart shaped balloons in your posters and deciding on the title "Love, Love, Love" pretty much screams "trash" doesn't it? But here was a humbling reminder that Indian popular culture can surprise you in the most pleasant of ways. These two good-looking young wannabe-stars and their social media followings represent so much about the "new India", a steadfastly singular culture (or cultures) whizzing through the fiery hoops of globalisation at breakneck speed, coming to terms with a mixed up value system, raging sexual frustration and an ever widening class gap, all of which have left a generation feeling more connected yet more alienated than ever before. This is 'Pyaar, Prema, Kaadhal', a flawed and horny love story, sweating with tension and all the repulsive angst of human emotion, yet with the glamorous musical heart of Indian cinema still beating loudly underneath.
4. Manmarziyaan
Tumblr media
There was as much to love about 'Manmarziyaan' as there was to hate. The age-old filmi love triangle rears its head again, only this time with characters who are more manipulative and frustrating than any you've seen in a "mainstream" movie before. But while the film never forces you to judge (at times leaving you confused about whether you're actually supposed to like any of these people) it demands that you engage. It's encouraged some of the finest writing on cinema I've seen in recent years, and such an unashamedly "Bollywood" film inspiring this thrilling thought and analysis from our finest critics (whether their judgement is kind or not) warrants its inclusion on this list alone. Then there's the way its incredible soundtrack weaves in and out of scenes like the characters own breaths, the way life changing moments are obscured from the script by deafening silences and acutely observed minutiae, and of course THAT lead performance. I'm not sure if I "liked" it or not, but I sure as hell can't wait to watch it again.
3. Pari
Tumblr media
The better the film, the harder it is to write about. 'Pari' is rich with metaphor. While being a ghost story (and a damn good one) merely on the surface, it has plenty to say about the way our society treats women, poses the question of if we can truly be born evil, and even critiques our savage treatment of "the other" in a global society where more of us are on the run than settled in our homes. But I think its biggest strength is that while it challenges you to reach into the very centre of your being and take a look at yourself and the World around you, its craft and screenwriting is so good that not at any moment does it give you a second to realise that's what you're doing.
2. Rangasthalam
Tumblr media
'Rangasthalam' is so great. Like really really great. Once an innocuous muscle man, Ram Charan has channelled his inner Dhanush and located his physicality, writhing and slanging his way into the mind and body of the quintessential South Indian rural hero, hoisting his lungi and flicking his beedi into one of the most visceral and truly cinematic masala movies in living memory. The thumping pace and kinetic choreography (both of the rousing song sequences and the busy, lived-in frames of the rest of the movie) evoke a dusty, violent world with the same panache of Ameer in 'Paruthiveeran' or Sasikumar in 'Subramaniyapuram', while the moustache twirling dialogues and meticulous emotional beats offer as much pure fun as a "Dabangg" or a "Khakee" or any classic Hindi masala movie. I've read pieces linking the cinema of 'Rangasthalam' to film noir traditions, but to me it simply proved that the masala genre still has as much excitement to offer as any other.
1. Mukkabaaz
Tumblr media
I'll remember 2018 as the year that Anurag Kashyap, previously India's frontrunner in the realm of "interesting" (but more often headscatching) cinema, stopped thinking with his very big brain and instead used his even bigger heart. His most straightforward film is undoubtedly his best, Hollywood-esque in its writing but firmly Indian in its sentiment. The scale is small - empty boxing arenas, bleak winding village paths and a cast plucked from the TV screen - but its emotions are pure opera. This is a timeless film, and though it laughs at the ridiculousness of modern India, poking a nasty smug finger at caste oppression, petty politics and the bureaucratic nightmare of simply trying to stay alive, it defies analysis. Much like the song at the centre of the story, the violently stunning 'Paintra', it only asks that you feel. And what more could we want from cinema?
I've had so much fun at the movies this year. From dancing to Dilbar in the cheap seats of G7 in Bandra to reciting Dhanush's Maari 2 dialogues at the bus stop outside Ilford Cineworld, Indian movies have continued to punctuate my life and bring me more joy than they have any right to. I can't wait to do this all again this year. What were the films that stirred you over the last 12 months? Let me know. Xx
Todrick Hall's Comments About Taylor Swift Are All About Support – EXCLUSIVE
Todrick Hall has some famous friends and co-workers. His YouTube channel (which has close to 3 million subscribers) has gotten him worldwide recognition and into the room where it happens with the likes of Beyoncé and Taylor Swift. He choreographed Beyoncé's "Blow" music video after she saw some of his own videos, and his friendship with Taylor Swift got him a featured cameo in the "Look What You Made Me Do" music video. Todrick Hall's comments about Taylor Swift prove that working and being close friends with the star is not what you may think.
Hall and I are on the set of his "Glitter" music video when we sit down to chat about his career. He had already met T. Swift by the time he starred as Lola in Kinky Boots on Broadway in 2016, but it was during this stint in Harvey Fierstein and Cindy Lauper's Tony-winning show that his friendship with the "Delicate" singer really solidified.
"When I moved to New York, I went out to eat with her when I was doing Kinky Boots," Hall tells Elite Daily, "and I had done shows in New York before, but it had been so many years and I felt like I had lost my friend circle. And so I was so happy that she was [living in New York]." Hall says their friendship was a casual one, so he didn't expect her to come see him in the Broadway show.
"She said that she was going to come and see the show and I was like, I'm never going to ask her to come and see it again because I know she's busy, I don't want to pressure her. And she just showed up to the show one day." He says Swift not only saw the show, but she stayed for two hours after meeting, speaking, and taking pictures with everyone in the cast and crew. From then on, he knew he had a solid friend in her.
Hall reveals that, like many on the internet, he believed Swift's niceness was just a front she put on for her famous persona. But he maintains that niceness still holds true in their personal and professional relationships.
"Huge things will happen and she'll be like, 'OK, great. This is what we have to do, this is what the universe has given us, this is what we're faced with. How are we going to fix this?' I would love to handle my minor issues the way that she handles some of her huge issues that billions of people are going to see and judge." He doesn't hint as to what any of those "huge issues" he's talking about are, but her public beef with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West comes to mind, as well as incessant tabloid coverage of her past relationships. (Miraculously, she and actor Joe Alwyn have managed to keep their two-year relationship under tight lock and key.)
"I think that one thing that I really love about her is she has been burned by a lot of people," Halls continues, "and you would think in a lot of ways that she would be totally OK with being a princess locked in a tower that nobody was able to enter. But she's willing to get back up again and trust people again, which is a very scary thing when you're somebody in that position."
Hall has proven himself to be a loyal friend to Swift as well, going to bat for her frequently against Kanye West.
When Swift finally voiced her political opinions in what the internet felt was a long overdue Instagram post, Hall posted on Instagram as well, showing his pride in her decision.
He explained in the lengthy caption that Swift being so guarded for so long about her political beliefs was part of the reason he kept their friendship casual at first. He echoes the same sentiment in our conversation.
Referencing her complete lack of a public political stance over the years, Hall tells me, "She has such power that I don't even think she realizes how much of an affect it would have on people."
He continues, "I was explaining to her that, as a gay person, I didn't know for sure how you felt about gay people and I was a little bit nervous to talk to you about my love life or whatever." And he recognizes the criticism she would receive for not voicing her political opinions before the 2016 presidential election.
Many people justifiably feel that Swift, with such a powerful influence over newly 18-year-old potential voters, could have done much more political advocacy in 2016 than just posting a picture of herself with an "I Voted" sticker. When you have a platform as large as Swift's, it's easy to see how not using said platform in a tumultuous political time would garner heavy criticism. Some of that criticism, Hall says, was pointed at him as well.
As a gay man of color, Hall tells me that people online occasionally placed the onus of getting Swift to "come out" as a democrat on him.
"Sometimes, people would give me flack online that she wasn't doing certain things," he tells me. "I love the fact that she has grown and evolved in her own time, as every artist has to do." He continues, "It can be very scary to potentially risk your career or your reputation to stick your neck out for something when you don't have to do it. You don't have to stand up for gay rights, you don't have to voice your opinion, and you'll sell the same amount of records. But somebody who truly cares about the way this country is falling apart and will take it upon themselves to use their voice to do something — that, I believe, is just the right thing to do."
She did that when she officially endorsed democratic candidates running in Tennessee elections in 2018 (and there was a massive surge in voter registration as a result). But Hall recognizes this was overdue. But Hall knew that being a good friend meant supporting her decision, regardless of how late it was.
So when Kanye West tweeted that he was "distancing" himself from politics, Hall couldn't help but laugh (and call the rapper out on Twitter).
“Well well well Miss @kanyewest," he said, "while I’m thrilled that you claim to have hopped off the Trump train, I cannot help but bask in the irony that you are now ‘distancing yourself from politics’ while the girl everybody was dragging is now promoting a blue candidate like it’s her job." Look what you made him do, Kanye! Elite Daily reached out to West's team for comment on Hall's tweets, but did not hear back by the time of publication.
All tea and shade aside, Hall tells me that Swift is one of those friends who is basically a therapist for him, and vice versa.
Throughout their entire friendship, however, they never had the chance to work together. That is, until Swift asked him to be in the "Look What You Made Me Do" music video.
Tumblr media
"I feel like I owe her money for the amount of therapy that she's given me for the boys that I've dated," Hall quips. He reveals that he hasn't always approved of her past relationships either, although he stays tightlipped on just which of her famous exes he's referring to. (Booooo.)
"I think that it's easy to be surrounded with a lot of 'yes' people," he says, "but with Taylor, there was somebody that she was dating that I didn't necessarily approve of and I was definitely very honest with her about how I felt about it. She just would always be like, 'Thank you so much for your honesty.'"
"I feel like it is the most expensive music video that's ever been created in history," Hall jokes.
Outside of working with his bestie on the video, Hall says it was a wonder to see director Joseph Kahn at work on the video. Kahn has directed a large number of Swift's videos in the past, including most of the videos from Reputation. The biggest were "Look What You Made Me Do" and "...Ready For It?" both of which Hall was on set. To perform in the former, and just observe the latter.
"It was amazing to watch [Joseph Kahn] work and to see everything," Hall says, adding, "I was also on the set of '...Ready For It?' to watch that as well. And it was just really, really awesome and to be able to hear the song and to see the sets. I make videos for a living, but to see the budget of how these sets were built and how amazing they look, it was just insane. I had never seen anything like that before in my life."
He brings up his choreography for Beyoncé on the "Blow" music video as a comparison. Beyoncé's self-titled surprise album was famously more low-budget than some of her other videos because it was being kept as such a huge secret, so seeing Swift's massive budget for her Reputation videos was an eye-opener.
"When I did the video with Beyoncé, we went to a location, a roller skating rink, and that's where we did it, so that was the aesthetic of that video," he explains, "But I've never been somewhere where they built an entire world and a cemetery and a thrown and all these things. It was just really crazy to see it and to be a part of it was just really, really awesome."
As for her dancing in the video (people have always trolled Swift for dancing even though she's not near someone like Beyoncé's level), Hall says she's doing it for the joy it brings her.
"Taylor Swift doesn't have to ever dance," he, a professional dancer, says. "She'll still sell the same amount of tickets. She just loves to dance." She danced alongside Hall in the "Look What You Made Me Do" video, and Hall sees it as a huge moment of pride. He tells me, "She was scared at first, she was for sure nervous. But once we saw the playback and I was like, 'You look amazing,' she just kept going in more and more and more and more. Every single time, she'd give it more energy, more performance, and now I see her dancing in [the Reputation stadium tour] more than she's ever danced before. And I'm just so proud of her."
Hi, would you do a story centered around Buster and Rosita? Not a ship. Something like Buster's really late getting to the theater and the gangs starting to worry, especially Rosita and like he arrives he's badly injured from like knife wound from the bears or something, but doesn't tell anyone and he tries to go about his day without telling anyone, but he's hurting badly and finally Rosita (who knew something was wrong from the start) confronts him about and the gang tries to help?
Alright! Let’s do this!
I hope you like it!
They gang had been waiting a while for Buster to return, usually he was always here before them. Mike had been tapping his foot impatiently.
“When’s the guy gonna be here? I mean its got to have been an hour ever since we all got here!” He said, his voice loud enough to be heard from outside. “Well..actually, it’s only been thirty minutes Mike..” Johnny paused after he looked at his watch “But I think we’re all wondering why he’s not here…”.
“Well I hope he gets here soon…” Meena mumbled while Rosita nodded in agreement.
More moments had passed, even Eddie had shown up, he was usually known for being the late one. “Hey, Eddie? Have you..by any chance..seen where Buster has been for the past..” Rosita looked towards Johnny for the time “Forty eight minutes..?”.
“No….I thought he was with you guys this morning. He called me saying he was here, maybe he had to go and get something or some costumes?” Eddie replied, confused.
“Well, that would make sense. He probably called all of us here because of a new performance. So if he’s getting costumes…then there’s nothing to worry about” Ash said with a shrug. “But Ash, what if something else happened? I mean there could be something seriously wrong with him right now!” Rosita said.
She was very worried about him, she cared about him as much as she did about everyone who’d came into her life. “Come on ya’ big egg! He’s probably taking his time on gettin’ here!” Mike said while crossing his arms.
“Ya! Maybe he’s right! He could just be takin’ time ya know..” Gunter said, surprisingly agreeing with Mike. “L-Lets just hope that is it…” Meena whispered.
Ten more minutes passed….
“Alright, thats it! It’s been an hour and i’m not going to stay any longer!” Mike said while stomping off the stage and walking past aisles of seats before the doors had busted open.
“Sorry I’m late gang! But thank you all for staying while I was…” Buster paused to think of an excuse, Rosita took notice of this. “A-At the bank! Yeah, I had to stop by the bank to grab some money just in case we uh…had any malfunctions or…” Buster just continued mumbling and gripping at his side.
“See Rosita! Nothing bad happened to him, all he needed to do was make a stop at the bank” Ash said slightly grinning, happy to know Buster had finally arrived.
Still, Rosita had this feeling that Buster was lying about it. She had been used to her kids trying to lie, but she’d always find out what they were trying to cover up. She also saw how Buster was gripping at his side, something definitely was wrong.
“Yeah yeah, thats great. Now why did you call us here Mr. “I take my time” Moon” Mike said with slight laughter in his voice. “Thank you for asking shortie, and i will explain that in a second.” Buster replied with a grin on his face while looking at a aggravated Mike.
“Anyways, I called you all here because, I’ve already announced to the public about this new theatre and how there will be a party for its grand re-opening! I want you all to perform one of these songs I give you from the list I hand out.” Buster paused while handing out some papers to all of them separately.
“Now, I want to try something different for you Mike, I want you with Meena. Johnny and Ash will be soloists and Gunter and Rosita will be together again, since they both make a very good team when it comes to amazing an audience!” Buster said with a smile.
“Now, if you have any questions, just come and see me in my office!” He said while walking off before Mike could start complaining, though this time he kept quiet and went off with Meena to practice rehearsing.
“Alright Rosita! Lets go and get some dancing done!” Gunter said while running towards their rehearsal room.
They all had exactly three days to get their vocals and choreography down if needed.
So far the past two days they had all came early for rehearsing, and somehow Buster had always arrived late. This made Rosita only grow more suspicious of what was going on with him. Every time he had shown up late, he had used some excuse anyone would use to get out of being asked questions.
It was probably the time to ask what was going on, because what was even more odd was that he had came back with something wrong with him. First, his side, then his neck, and last of all was his leg and how his clothes were ripped near the bottom of his pants.
“Rosita, it’s time to come to the rehearsing room! Aren’t cha’ coming?” Gunter asked “I’ll be there in a minute, I just need to ask Buster something.” Rosita replied. “Ok!”
Rosita walked the down the hallway that led to Buster’s new office, she hadn’t gotten to used to the new look, but she couldn’t lie, she loved it.
She knocked on his door lightly, “Come on in!” He said while there was shuffling heard in the room. She opened the door slowly, the room wasn’t as big as she thought it would be, but it was very clean.
“So Rosita, whats up?” He asked while sitting in his chair. “N-Nothing, but um-I do have a question” She stammered, she didn’t want to embarrass him if she did ask, but she was concerned for his safety.
“Oh ok..” Buster mumbled while looking at Rosita. “So, me and the gang have been noticing you’re coming in late alot..” “Rosita I’ve already sa-” Buster said being being shushed. “I wasn’t finished. A-Anyways…..Buster I’m not sure if everyone else has noticed this but….why have you been coming in with so many injuries? Or a part of your clothing ripped?” She asked.
He stared off for a moment, “I..have no idea what you’re talking about Rosita! It’s just my usual style thats all!” Buster said with a forced smile. “Buster, I’ve known you for awhile to know you like to dress formal or atleast pleasant, so you wouldn’t ever want to be walking around with your clothing ripped.” Rosita paused while taking a closer look at him and slowly noticed he had a black eye as well.
“And if scars and black eyes are the new things in style then please let me go get ran over! Buster, what’s going on? Who’s hurting you?” She asked while walking towards him. She began to examine his wounds before he had gotten up suddenly.
“No…im fine Rosita just go back to your rehearsal room with Gunter” Buster said while quickly walking out of his office. “Oh no he just didn’t walk off” Rosita whispered while following him.
Rehearsals were almost over, Gunter actually began to fear that Rosita just left for no reason. The theatre gang were standing on the stage and talking, “Man, Mike…Meena! You both sound incredible!” Johnny said with awe in his voice.
“Well of course we were! Obviously because of me..” Mike paused before looking at Meena “And…” it pained for him to give credit to someone else for this kind of stuff. “And her too” He grumbled while Meena smiled, though she was contemplating on if that was a compliment or just a joke.
They all noticed Buster quickly walking around or possibly away from someone, and that someone was Rosita.
“Buster tell me whats going on!” Rosita yelled with a concerned look. “I-I’m fine! I swear!” Buster yelled back. “Well if you’re ok, then why are you running?” Meena asked. “Buster, if somethings going on…we’re here for ya…” Johnny mumbled.
They heard some shuffling from backstage, probably Eddie. “Ok, got the music tracks and lights set-Buster? You ok?” He asked. “Thats the same thing we’ve been asking” Ash said.
“Someone’s hurting him…” Rosita mumbled which made them all gasp in shock. “Wait what?! Who?” Eddie asked “Thats what I’m trying to get out of him…but he refuses…” Rosita mumbled.
“I-It’s nothing I swear! It’s not even that much of a big deal guys!” Buster protested. “Well, if its not a big deal, then its going to be ok to tell us…” Ash said now walking more close to Buster. “N-No! I don’t want you guys getting hurt by them too-” “Them? You mean there’s more than one person?!” Mike said stomping towards him.
“Yes…” “Well…that means we’ll all be able to handle them…” Johnny said, he looked like he was growing angry by the second. “No…not even you guys could handle them….they’re…huge…and…they have sharp fangs and claws…and” Butser looked terrified by even describing whom the people were.
“Bears…” Mike whispered and saw Buster slowly nod. This reminded Rosita of when he’d ask her if there were any bears on the streets, now she knew why.
“So they got you too Mike?” Rosita asked. “Well no! Or else I wouldn’t even be alive nor would Diana..but why are they hurting you? You’re just some koala!” Mike said.
“Well, remember when they walked in with you, looking for the prize money I didn’t have? Now they’re hunting me down for it still…” Buster mumbled. “Oh my gosh Mr. Moon….I’m so sorry..” Meena whimpered. She looked closed to crying, as so did Ash and Johnny. The had all felt so awful for the pain he had been going through.
“Guys…d-don’t cry please…” Buster whimpered, he felt like crying himself. They all felt as if they were going to cry, even Mike. “You know…..what helps a little when…i’m at rock bottom?” Eddie said while sniffling.
He walked up and gave Buster a hug, then one by one. So did everyone else, and they all stood there for a moment just hugging and calming down. He was right, it kinda did help.
They all slowly let go and whipped away their tears and smiled, even giggled a little. Rosita then looked in her purse and pulled out some supplies she had gotten from one of the first aid kits in her home, and began to stitch up his wounds and gave him some colorful band aids for his remaining scars.
They all had cartoonish designs on them, which in all honesty, looked silly and cute on him. Ash even took a picture of it “Man I’m going to save this forever.” She said while giggling. “You may have to send me on if you can” Eddie said jokingly.
They were all giggling about it, “Were these really the only ones you had?” Buster asked. “Well thats what you get from a mom with 25 kids” Rosita said while shrugging it off.
“A-Anyways….thank you guys so much…”
“No problem” They all said, grinning.
BONUS!
Buster smiled.
After a few minutes of them saying goodbye-
“Wait-we shouldn’t stand by and watch this happen to our friend. We’re going to look for them.” Rosita said, with a look of determination on her face, no sign of fear whatsoever.
“Yeah, I don’t think it would be right to see my bo-best friend hurt like this, soon enough we’r going to run out of these band-aids and medicine.” Eddie said agreeing.
The others weren’t so sure about looking for the bears, but they knew that Mike would not participate whatsoever. Eddie and Rosita both set out on the streets while the others had cowardly followed, Buster ran after them to stop them.
“Guys! W-Wait! Maybe we shouldn’t-” Buster yelped loudly once he had been picked up by someone.
A bear.
“Well look at this, our lil’ friend Buster Moon.” One of the bear’s said while smiling widely, showing his fangs. “Buster!” Eddie yelled while tapping Rosita to get her attention.
“And he’s brought his little friends with him! How more funny can this get lads?” The bear chuckled as so did the others.
“Stop it right now, we’re fully aware of what you’re doing to our friend and we do not like it!” Rosita said while her arms were crossed. “And whatcha going to do about it Mrs. Piggy? Take off your pretty gloves and make someone do the hard work for ya?” The bear snickered.
“No, but I will certainly be pulling up my sleeves and doing this!”
Rosita snapped her fingers, Gunter stepped forward and gave Rosita a boost up,the reach the bear’s height. Then she had slapped him hard and loud, people began to stare. The bear finally loosened his grip on Buster and let him go
“Piggy power!” Gunter said while laughing very hard.
Rosita walked towards the bear whom she slapped and was now kneeling.
“Now you better leave my friend alone or me and my friends will do something far worse than that.” Rosita said while walking off, leaving the bears and the rest of theatre gang amazed.
There you go anon! Enjoy!
