Or should I call it 'anomaly'?#this is very much a 'ship chose me' scenario - my conflicting feelings towards it oddly became part of the appeal that I learned to embrace #it's complicated and might be due to me being prolly uncommon case of Gonta-main ougoku enjoyer and maybe also a masochist sdfdf #but I will never object to Gonta being treated kindly when it comes to fluff and 'what could've been' potential #and upsetting parts are compelling and deserve to be seen and explored for what they are- it's a waste to justify/idealise or minimize them #and boy do these guys have an emotional range I physically cannot overlook despite visceral and deeply personal pain some parts of it cause #...and also because of it #and on that note - I have some not so sweet nor cozy stuff with them as well that I might compile one day... to balance this post >:)#still tho I promise to give other gonta ships some love too. after all this is only one of my top 3

SILLY PROPOSAL TO FELLOW GHOSTIES- ive got a little idea about the names q!Bad vs q!Halo

so some of us have been calling this freshly resurrected Bad q!Halo, right? And I think that's a super cool name. BUT. I do agree with some ppl I saw saying that it doesn't fit too well for him, because he is still so obviously himself, just confused and missing memories.

SO HERE IS MY PROPOSAL:

Since this is still the q!Bad we know and love, just a little mixed up right now, we call THIS GUY q!Bad:

Second Part of the proposal. I really like the name q!Halo. I think it looks cool. SO i'd like to keep using it. AND WE HAVE A PERFECT CANDIDATE. We don't know much about him yet... but maybe soon we will. SO. I propose to you that the Mysterious BadBoyHalo in the Nether, surrounded by skulk, wielding a Netherite Sword, should be given the super cool new moniker q!Halo.

The man himself..... Now it'll be easier to refer to this mysterious character instead of the whole description, and we get to keep using the name qHalo!

THIS IS A SUGGESTION THOUGH. YOU DON'T GOTTA LISTEN TO ME, I'M JUST A SILLY GOOSE. But I think it'd be really cool and I wanted to see if you guys liked the idea.

yet again thinking about my headcanon that doumeki has one of those flip phones with 5000 oddly specific mascot straps on it thats so heavy its borderline a workout to carry. the weird little creature receptacle. watanuki tried picking it up once and almost dropped it

Not to say one can't consume media they don't 100% agree with (I do the same so like), but you talk a lot about how the core views of TPN vs BSD change your entire way of enjoying these two, and I was wondering what drew you in into BSD if there are so many aspects of it you disagree with?

(Not meant as an attack or as a questioning of you enjoying it, I always am interested in your analysis so this is just out of curiosity, and also I am planning to pick up TPN again sometime this year)

To think I was doing my best to keep it at minimum‚ sorry‚ I sincerely didn't realize 😭😭😭#In the end sskk is just a ship I particularly enjoy consuming (and producing I guess) content of in this particular period of my life-#about that I know for sure I would definitely have hated the pairing when I was 14-18 ahah.#And tbh I hope next I'll hyperfixate on healthier ships #But I just. at this time of my life I find the idea of someone loving you despite you not being a good person strangely comforting.#The idea that even the most evil of people can be loved is oddly reassuring #Besides I like the fandom! I mean‚ in the perfect world at this point I would still be in the p/p fandom... But my p/p hyperfixation ended–#up burning out sooner than how it would have done organically because the fandom was nearly non existent and the canon content was–#untranslated and extremely difficult to access. With bsd the monthly chapters release is ideal in the way it’s both a constant influx of–#new content without it being overwhelming. Turns out that being busy the whole entire day at work without any free time does absolutely wonders for killing your muse. :')

#rambles #the worst part is that it's like.... mind-numbing work #like it's not irritating work or tedious work #i get started and then i just zone out the entire day #if i didn't like it i'd be taking more breaks or thinking about writing stuff #it's oddly enjoyable #the only junk thing is transporting chromebooks between floors via stairs #maybe once the school year starts and my tech duties die down my muse will return
