So apparently my opinion on Rebirth's ending isn't an unpopular one.

Just... It had so much potential when I first started playing it and right now I feel like SE took this thing I loved so much, invested so much of myself into, that ONE thing that made me happy when I was 15 and guided me through some truly terrible times, chewed it up in front of me and spat it in my face.

Talking about it with my husband this morning actually made me cry lol. I know it's just a game and it's not real and I can rewrite stuff in RP and all that but... Why did they do that?

How could they trample all over the true meaning of what this game actually represents? It's a story about loss and how one deals with that loss, it was written in memory of the mother of the original writer of FFVII and they just wiped their ass on it by taking all of that away.

I'm honestly devastated. This game means so much to me and they just ruined it.
