I do like to imagine Eris ending up with a partner who’s actually super Normal and Healthy. we completely rewrote his entire story as well and now he's kind of a major character in HIWYA ^^; he ends up sticking around Aya in his cat form because she's just as chaotic as he is and they basically end up being partners in crime, haha!

but here he is in god form! he ended up looking a lot younger than I initially imagined him to be, but I feel like it kinda fits his rebellious and chaotic neutral personality lol xD

Got an itch to play Sunless Sea again and it's always such an odd experience because. Like.

I know this game. Any other game, the level if knowledge and research I have put into this would make me a confident fucking master. And yet.

I can be reading text I've read dozens of times before and i still feel...not clueless, but absolutely off the mark. It all feels so familiar and yet I've never seen a victory condition. I've at least started pretty much every storyline but I'll still see something new each time I sink some time into it. I have a fucking JOURNAL of TRADE ROUTES and REQUIRED ITEMS and somehow that's only mildly helpful

That and the fact Fallen London's lore is so fucking batshit and honestly kind of hard to research (thr wiki's are frustratingly structured for me and the browser game is just. Previous anon had missed a very important distinction: Jack was not trained as a normal warrior, he was trained as a sacred warrior. Someone who specialises in fighting spiritual&supernatural foes rather than ordinary foes. Who knows, maybe Jack even took vows never to use the techniques he learned against normal humans, in this case killing that Daughter of Aku was the same for Jack as what being successfully seduced would be for a monk.

The upcoming chapter 148 has the title "Incomplete" and I really hope that means the story will give us some answers regarding the count.

I know the writer doesn't have much time left (even with the extra volume they were given), but establishing that the count set basically the entire plot of servamp in motion because he had a weird obsession with adam and wanted to "complete" kuro by becoming one person with him... only to then seemingly abandon all that to act like a tool for mikuni's plans for no known reason really rubs me the wrong way?

Like...why would the count care what mikuni wants? Mikuni messed up the count's plan and put him in the wrong body. Shouldn't that matter? Or shouldn't there at least be an explanation for why the count is okay with being used like that?

Maybe the writer could reveal the conversation kuro and the count had before kuro "killed" him? Kuro said the count didn't say anything to him, but back when mahiru entered kuro's mind for the first time he saw that they had a conversation, he just couldn't make out the words. That could be used to explain the count's change of mind.

Or they could reveal that the count has only been toying with mikuni, letting him play god for a while until he drives himself insane as revenge for being so arrogant to mess with the count's goals.

Idk. I just feel like throwing so much that was set up about the count away to go "nah, it doesn't matter, he's fine doing whatever mikuni wants and has no own goals or motivations anymore" is not a satisfying ending.
