Am I the only one who happens to go through this exact situation
Me finds a blog with great writing/content and nice aesthetics and the person running the blog seems like a good person who'd I'd vibe with greatly/we have similar interests and tastes in things I immensely enjoy
Me:
Then I go and check their blog to send a message/ask only to find they haven't been active/posted either in months or years or have since become inactive and made their blog inactive by proxy or archived their blog or left or deactivated their account and therefore I missed the opportunity to interact with this person
touchy time by yourself in your bed at 8:14pm next to your 4 foot tall jack skellington plushie right before you go shower is self care too, don't let anyone tell you otherwise
the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again
do genuinely find it fascinating how indeed.com is like the biggest job-hunting website out there and yet manages to be profoundly useless in every possible way

it's an act of love, not just a job i promise. we all want someone who's willing to take care of us in some way, just like how senshi shows care for others by cooking for them :'|
when i got my medical certificate i very confidently answered the question "what do you do if a person becomes unconscious?" with "remove from the room immediately" only to be met with puzzled silence by the instructor and that's when i learned that the deeply ingrained nautical fear and grim reality of seamen and their rescuers asphyxiating in enclosed spaces due to build up of toxic gas or especially lack of oxygen does not translate to land.
