How did you come up with Frisk's curse? I'm trying to come up with one myself but don't know where to start.
SPOILER ALERT
Back when I started writing my fiction, I was laying down on the couch just daydreaming to some songs and I had that specific scene in mind, the one where they come out of the strange cocoon into a demonic being. I think the song I was listening to was Butterfly from Rachel Rose Mitchell. That's how my fanfiction which was supposed to be a UF!Pap x Reader turned into a whole AU, thinking of what would lead Frisk to their fate.
Fun fact : Lost Soul's design is actually what my demon looks like, just like anything in Heavenfell holds a part of me as a venting/therapeutic project so Frisk's curse was pretty natural for me to illustrate. If you wanna see why, I think it's better to show my vent arts of over a decade
CW : "naked"... dead... spirits ???????
Damn, what a treat. It's 6 years worth of torment right there LMAO anyways... Yeah. Hope you can see how it came to me.
I guess the best thing is to find inspiration in media, like I did, it could be music, a show, a movie... your own personal torment with a dash of fantasy. I wish you the best with that !

killer deliberately provoking people into attacking or hurting him—especially anyone who claims that they “don’t want to fight him” or “don’t want to hurt him”—sometimes for the purpose of satisfaction and validation in the belief that pain will always be a part of his existence and everyone feels the same urges to hurt or be hurt that he does and everyone would love the chance to hurt him if he just let them or gave them a valid excuse.
he really likes provoking the so called “pacifists” into doing horrid shit like snapping his bones or you know almost killing him cuz its just further proof that he’s right

me: and so talking about the paradox within a cyberpunk context, i believe that far too many creators take the conundrum far too literally. "how many pieces of a human can you replace until youre not human" is a severely limited, and a touch annoying, approach to the problem of theseus's ship. a person getting prosthetics or ocular implants or other surgeries doesnt make them less human (and i doubt these people debated with themselves as to how "human" their great aunt who got a titanium hip is). i think while in specific contexts that narrative could work if it was critiquing the beauty industry and/or the obsession with youth and living forever (and how the wealthy have a monopoly on both), the focus on physicality doesnt work when allegorizing theseus's ship. the reason why the paradox surrounds the physicality of the ship is because that is what Defines a ship; physicality does not define humanity and human nature. humanity's version of theseus's ship should surround morality, compassion, community, dignity. the questions of how many people can you screw over, how many people can you kill, how much suffering can you ignore, how much suffering can you inflict, and how many people are you willing to let be subjugated before you are no longer human? the question of humanity is definitely a loaded one since cruelty is an unfortunate addition to human society, but even with the flaws presented its still a much more viable narrative than-

do you ever have to like. check references to remember cat names. or do you just have a mental database of every cc cat ever
Great question! For like the first two years of running this blog it was basically just a mental database. Like genuinely I just knew them. There's a few cats that I've always had trouble telling apart (like Minx's cats or Martyn's cats) but I used to be able to ID most of them off a photo without you even telling me which CC owned them.
These days it's a bit more to keep track of, I update this blog less often, and I spend less time stalking CCs on social media for cat photos. It is much more difficult for me to remember all their names. So right now, if I forget a cat name, I normally just search this blog for the CC name. My tagging over the years has benefitted me because it allows me to double check things very easily!

low key i think to deny Riko's trauma is to deny his narrative importance in the story.
like Riko's trauma related to his father parallels neil's. His concept of brotherhood adds complexity to Andrew and Aaron's relationship. He acts not just as an antagonist but as a foil to other character's relationship to trauma and violence.
to solely view riko through the lense of his actions is to miss the point. He is a character in a story, not a real breathing human being.

(The story they took from is one of my original works that is Just One Drop) And please if you do know or if you find out don't go attacking this person.

Ok, DS9, "Little Green Men," the dog. Did Odo, like, knock out that professor's dog and lock him in a closet, or was everyone on that military base like "Oh I thought that was YOUR dog"
