Just an idea pop out my head: be sanwiched between Juyeon, Hyunjae and Eric (Eric needs f*cking stop he killing me these day) T_T
My mind instantly drifted into thinking of them as frat boys ngl. Juyeon and Hyunjae teaching newcomer Eric all the shit he has to know…
Teach Him a Lesson
Warnings: Smut (18+, minors DNI), voyeurism, a good ol’ foursome, unprotected sex, anal, p in v, handjob, mentions of fingering and oral (f receiving), petnames used (baby girl, sweetheart)
‧⋆ ✧˚₊‧⋆. ✧˚₊‧⋆‧‧⋆ ✧˚₊‧⋆. ✧˚₊‧⋆‧‧⋆ ✧˚₊‧⋆.
It’s been three months since Eric, our puppy boy, passed his initiation to join the TBZ frat house. Juyeon and Hyunjae obviously take a liking to him, so they both agree to “mentor” him with everything he needs to know...
It's no surprise when you randomly end up getting a call from Hyunjae, asking you for a favor. And it was no secret that you’ve fucked both Hyunjae and Juyeon too (separately and both of them together 🥴)
“Sorry, what do you want me to do again?” you ask.
“We’re trying to teach our new brother Eric how to fuck, he told us he doesn't have much experience. And what better way to have you teach him!” Hyunjae rambles on the phone.
“Please? You do it so well baby girl” Hyunjae coos over the phone, already imagining his pouty face. There's a moment of silence over the phone while you think about the offer.
“Please y/n? Remember when you taught me?” You hear Juyeon’s sweet voice over the phone. How could you say no to him?
--------------------------
“Just like that Eric, don’t forget the fingers. She loves that so much.” Hyunjae instructs Eric across the room.
“You like it like that?” Eric asks you, moaning out a yes in response.
Hyunjae and Juyeon have been palming their aching members watching Eric eat you out. You’ve always loved it when they would watch you in your most vulnerable state.
After reaching your first orgasm of the night, the boys decide to take turns with you. Your second orgasm coming from Hyunjae fucking you in the ass & fingering you from behind while Juyeon’s cock was in your mouth.
Eric couldn't take his eyes off you and how you reacted to their touches the whole time, stroking his member in the process. You looked so beautiful reaching your 2nd orgasm from afar.
“Eric get over here, it’s time you practice.” Hyunjae calls him over.
You never thought you’d be in this position (literally). Hyunjae’s cock in your ass, Eric’s in your pussy, and Juyeon's in your hand. Some might call you sick in the head, but you just loved it when you felt used like this.
“You doing okay there Eric?” you ask him.
“Y-yeah, I’m f-ffineee- holy shit.” You feel his hands gripping your hips as he thrusts up into you.
“Why don’t you give him a kiss sweetheart? I bet he’d wanna taste you” Juyeon says.
You nod and lean forward to kiss Eric, taking control of movement your tongues make.
“Shit, I'm gonna cum” Hyunjae groans.
“Me too” Juyeon adds.
“Want to cum with me Eric, hm?” You sweetly ask him.
“Y-yes, please I- I wanna c-cum inside youuu.” Eric stutters.
It doesn’t take long for all four of you to reach your highs together.
After your “session”, Hyunjae and Juyeon bid their goodbyes to leave you in the room with Eric.
“Hey, y/n?” He calls your attention.
“Yeah?”
“Is it okay if we… have another session next time, but it’s just us?” He sheepishly asks.
“Of course! Here’s my number.” You grab his phone and type down the numbers.
After handing it back to him you hold his jaw with your fingers, making him face you. You thumb rubs against his lips, making his breath hitch.
“I’ll teach you everything you need to know and more…”
(A/N: this is my 1st time writing a foursome I'm so sorry if it’s weird / cringe / idk 😭)

BTTF Year-End Tag Game!
Thank you to both @bttf-dork and @future-boi for tagging me in this ;w; also pika ur comments about my art WAHHHH ILYSM <33 oTL
This year:
How many times would you guess you watched the first back to the future movie?
Since I only hopped on this time train towards the final third of the year lol: fully all the way through, at least 4! Otherwise I've jumped around a lot while looking for clips and references and stuff. So if I stitch all those together, then we'll say approx 5ish :) The first movie is my favorite one!
Did you get any sweet bttf merch? If so, what?
Noooo, I don't really have any merch for things I like, actually... it gives me too much anxiety to publicly show my interests ;w;
How many cans of Pepsi Free did you chug this year?
None LOL I don't really drink soda to begin with, but if I do, I prefer white (lemon lime) soda anyway :P
What was a favorite bttf fanfic you read this year?
I'm going to be honest, I... don't read fanfic very much. 🫣 I usually end up creating my own stuff (art/writing) when I have free time vs looking at other people's, which ik I need to get better at T_T So I don't have a loooot to rec... that being said I MUST shout out "Emmett's first weather expirement." by @alex-a-fans !!! <3 It is my greatest treasure of the year <333
I also really liked "incredible" by @penny-anna, which I read before I officially entered le fandom ;w; lone pine doc and baby marty my beloveds !!!!!
Finally, like basically all of the Doctober prompts from @doctorbrown *O* Days 8, 22, and 30 are some of my favorites, but I really recommend them all oTL theyre SOOO GOOOOOD !!!!!
A favorite bttf fanart you saw this year? (please give us a link, not a screencap/repost!)
See: everything I reblogged. Jk but fr, everyone is so so talented it's really hard to choose :'0 Here's a bunch of some of my faves in no particular order!!
[x] from @hearts-for-winona | [x] from @maxintime | [x] from @future-boi | [x] from @bttf-dork | [x] from @synthsays and @daryfromthefuture | [x] from @therobotwig | [x] from @22194isbestboy | [x] from @mythical-bookworm | [x] from @mkayeatsspaghetii | [x] from @tobytost / @tobytost-star
Did you create any bttf fanart or fanfic? If you did, what one(s) are you proudest of?
Yes I did !!! It is actually the most fan content I've ever made for a fandom since I was in... maybe junior high? So like YUH. Tbh, it's very difficult for me to find what you would call 'pride' in my art so ehh >_>; that being said, I do think that I had a lot of good IDEAS for Doctober (esp days 19 and 28), but my execution wasnt really the best. I would have liked to draw days 17 and 24 (+ time travel day) a little more properly too; like, I'm not as disappointed at how they turned out, but I still wish they were better and/or I could have given them more time. The ones I most actually-tried-and-dont-mind are days 7, 9, and 21 + under the sea dance day. (So many links was probably cheating but tbf I've kinda bent the rules for the past few questions so... whatevs lol). I've ALSOOO still been working on my godforsaken essay, it is 40 pages rn but even tho it's not done, I'm INSANELY proud of it Q_Q
How many times were you late for school this year?
None! B) For one thing I'm graduated lol, but also I'm typically early gang. I'm that person who'd sit in the classroom by myself for like 5 minutes before everyone else would show up LMBO ^^;
Did you watch any other movies/tv shows with BTTF actors in them?
Yess I did!! A... lot actually :0 Most of them were by chance/pre bttf era, but still :P Here is my list as well as I could find, sorry it is soooo long, but what are ya gonna do:
Star Wars/The Mandalorian; The Addams Family (1991); The Tale of Desperaux (2008); Cyberchase; & Clue (1985) -- Christopher Lloyd, havent rewatched the latter 3 since I was a kid and literally went :0 to learn he apparently was in them. Also Kings Quest (2015) which isn't a movie/show but I think it counts uwu
Stuart Little (1999) -- Michael J. Fox, which also rocked my world to discover O_O like hearing it now I'm like "yeah thats him alright" but as a kid I would never have been able to tell you that was the same guy from that time travel movie, despite watching both way too much LMBO
Elf (2003) & Last Vegas (2013) -- Mary Steenburgen, nothing much to say except that she slayed ^_^
Love at the Christmas Table (2012) -- Lea Thompson, I didn't care for it and was shouting "LEA GET OUT OF THIS MOVIE, UR BETTER THAN THIS" like the whole time lol.
Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (2002) & Curious George (2006) -- apparently these have Donald Fullilove (Goldie Wilson) in them? Same w Jason Scott Lee (Whitey) in Lilo & Stitch (2002)??? And Star Wars/Kenobi show apparently had Flea (Needles)????? ...HUH.
I binged both the entirety of Law and Order: SVU as well as Seinfeld this year w my sister; apparently Mary Steenburgen, Lea Thompson, & Casey Siemaszko (3-D) are in at least one episode of the former, while Elsa Raven (Clocktower Lady) and Ricky Dean Logan (Data) are apparently in a random episode of Seinfeld each. So like, technically I saw them, tho I don't distinctly remember it :'D Also, I have been making my way through Little House on the Prairie recently, which has Matt Clark (Chester the Bartender) in a few episodes !
Finally finally finally, I watched I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore (2017), as well as the LOTR trilogy like. Twice? And they all have Elijah Wood of course >:3c
Was there a memorable moment you heard a Huey Lewis song this year?
None in the wild, no :P But I did end up being in the top 0.1% of listeners for Huey Lewis this year... so UHHHHH take that as u will LMBO
How many times did you fall down this year?
Hmmm idk?? Probably at least 1 I would think ???
Did you get to see BTTF: The Musical? What was your experience like!
Nooo, I didn't even know it existed until like October !!! It looks super fun but atm/last I checked it doesn't come to where I live so :( I should listen to the soundtrack soon!
How many times did your mom retell the story of how she and your father met?
At least three times, and then probably a few times I'm forgetting :P
If you could describe your year in a BTTF quote, which one would it be?
The year in general is definitely "Oh great, the atrocity channel!" LMBO (but when hasn't it been since like... 2020? 2016???). For me personally, I think it's either "I don't know if I could take that kind of rejection." or "Don't talk to anyone, don't touch anything, don't do anything, don't interact with anyone, and try not to look at anything." ^^;
⚡️LIGHTNING ROUND⚡️ Did you get to: go on any trains, skate on a skateboard, ride a horse, drive a Delorean, run in the rain, go to a dance, hang up a clock, play the guitar, pull an all-nighter, read science fiction, or drive thru Burger King this year?
Your future is whatever you make it! So what are you going to make of this coming year?
I think I'm going to try to post more of the things I make, like my art and especially my writing ;w; Most of the time I'm quite George-ish and am too scared to put any of my stuff out there, for fear that no one will like it, so... I need to get better about that. Also I'd LIKE to get a full-time job and my own place some time next year, but we will see !!!
Idrk who to tag :0 ik @brinkle-brackle @mythical-bookworm and @alex-a-fans have already been tagged but havent technically done it yet... maybe also @backintime @tobytost @ectojester @stillpreoccupiedwith1985 @itsthemorph @doctorbrown @knickynoo and @fourth-dimensional-thinker :) but no pressure to do it, just didnt catch if youd been tagged or not!

Hi Moon🌙
For ask game for fanfic writers :3
2, 7, 17,29, 30, 64 and 98 (yes, this one on purpose for make you praise yourself and be kinder to yourself 🫶)
Hello Anna T_T This took way too long, I'm so sorry.
2. talk about a notable time a narrative or character has looked you dead in the eyes and said “fuck your plan, here’s what we’re actually doing.”
I answered this one over here :3
7. tell us about the plot of the first fanfic you ever wrote
The first ever fanfic? Oh god, that's more than a decade and a half ago... but okay xD Basically Kei and Hikari (the main couple from S.A) take a trip on a cable car during a winter getaway, and as you can expect, the car stops right in the fucking middle. What happens next? A lot of sexual tension, that's what. I was like... 13 or 14 when I wrote this xD It was titled 'Love in the Ice' btw, lol.
17. what is your favorite line you’ve ever written?
Oof, this is hard #_# There's got to be many, though my head is blank now... but... okay. I guess this one from Ch.16 of VBEOW:
He bid her goodbye, once again, and that time had been the most painful of all, because now he knew, there could've been something between them, something called love, and it couldn't be, only because she was supposed to be just Annie, and he wanted that for her more than love.
29. give us a spoiler for one of your stories.
XD Wah, really? A spoiler? Uhhhhhh okay, so there will be a chapter in VBEOW titled "Once a Fighter, Always a Fighter" and personally, I'm very excited for it (though it's a long way away for now). Very vague, I know, but it's a spoiler xD
30. most inspirational quote you’ve ever read or heard that’s still important to you.
Hm... from a fic? Or just in general? Okay, I guess I'll go with Carl Sagan's dedication to his wife in his book 'Cosmos'. It goes like this: "In the vastness of space and the immensity of time, it is my joy to share a planet and an epoch with Annie."
I think about it often, because in our very brief time of conscious life on this (rare) planet, it is certainly such a wonderful thing that we live alongside other wonderful people who touch our hearts and change us forever.
64. what is your favourite title for a fic you’ve read?
Ooohh. I think it's got to be "Breathturn" by ladywongs, who wrote it for the touken fandom. I can't find her/their fics up anywhere anymore, but since I have a downloaded copy of it, I often go and re-read it. It was an angsty-smutty piece, which captured the quality of the title very well, imo.
98. what don’t you like about your writing style?
:< Oh no. Everything, sometimes. Other times, I don't like how it seems very much like violet prose... or maybe that's just me because I'm too critical of my skills and hate everything I do haha xD Anyway. Someday, I'll be proud. That's good enough.
Thank you anna T^T You're always too damned sweet :<

The Songbird of Asgard
Chapter 8: All-Father's Scheme
AO3 link Masterlist Word count: 9.4k Warnings: none, Heimdall being a tiiiiiiiny bit jealous
-------------------------------------------------------------------------- Blurb: With Heimdall and Eivor's secret hideout replaced by the wall, it becomes more obvious to outsiders that something has changed between them. Odin is no exception. He runs a simple test, one that will allow him to calculate exactly how to make the most of a potentially advantageous arrangement. (Next chapter...things are happening...what things? I'll never tell >:})
If the summary wasn't clear enough...yes, I will be putting the reader insert version on hiatus for now. Based on responses from here and AO3, I think it would be best to write the version that's easiest for me first, then return to the reader insert later on. I'm very sorry to anyone that's disappointed, but I would rather write one version at a time than finish neither of them. For those of you who gave your input, thank you! It really helped me out and made me feel like I had ways to judge the better option, and that really put my mind at ease.
Thank you all again for reading my work, I'm still shocked that so many people like it T_T I hope you enjoy, because something big is happening next chapter :)
It was just like any other day. Heimdal awoke at the crack of dawn, reported to Odin, was handed a few specific tasks, and then he was off on his rounds, ensuring everything in Asgard was in perfect order. After checking off one of Odin's requests, he went straight for his patrol, needing the peace of the wall to counteract the headache he obtained from the rowdy einherjar drinking with Thor at the Black Thunder. How he wished one of Odin's ravens could have delivered that confounded message to the oafish god.
Just like any other day, he went to the lift and waited until it reached the top. Once there, he followed the path to the right, reached the end of the wall, then turned around to march over to the other side. It was about halfway through that journey that the day became unique. His footsteps slowed, feeling a presence up ahead. Then music. Unmistakable music.
He couldn't hold back a smile. Eivor had kept her word.
It took all his will power not to rush over. He still had to keep an eye on the realm, although his footfalls seemed to speed up of their own volition regardless. Within minutes he found her, sitting on a purple blanket with her legs folded under her, eyes closed as she played her lyre and sang peacefully. The spot she picked was not random, he noticed. It was the same place he took her to the night before.
Heimdall felt his expression soften against his bidding. He approached quietly, seeing that she was unaware of his arrival. As she wrapped up the last verse of her song, he knelt down next to her blanket, silent as the wind. The last note rang and faded into the morning air, her sigh the only sound following it into infinity. After a few moments of silence, Heimdall, with a wicked smirk, remarked, "What do we have here?"
Eivor jumped with a gasp and nearly dropped her lyre, catching it just before the delicate instrument could hit the hard stone. Heimdall stood and guffawed at her as she panted. "So, the songbird has made a nest!"
Eivor glared up at him, although her jovial chuckle and grin took away any threat it could have portrayed. "You're lucky I didn't sit near the edge!"
"Oh please, you think I would let you fall off? On my watch?"
"If you're in the right mood."
All he did was shake his head. No, that wasn't the case. For anyone else, sure, but not for her.
Their time together the night before sealed that. He'd known for so long that she was different, that she was so much better than everyone else. But to feel it with his own hands? That was something he wanted again.
Even if he had no idea how to make it happen.
"What kind of mood?" Heimdall asked, pacing around her with his eyes on the horizon. He was working, not stuck in his head. Not at all.
"The kind when you're so annoyed that you're ready to hurt somebody," she replied, tuning the lyre while she waited for him to settle down.
He finally did, standing beside her with his eyes still scanning the plains. "That's where you're wrong, because I am in that mood, and you're still here."
Eivor's playful expression fell into one of concern. He could feel how distressed she became. "Already? It's not even noon."
A sigh, idly rubbing the bridge of his nose while scowling at the thought of the einherjar. "Blame that damned tavern."
Her green eyes were filled with sadness. "But I've taught you how to deal with that."
Heimdall felt needles pierce his stomach at her disappointment. It was the same feeling he'd get when he failed to serve Odin properly — in his younger days that is. Without hesitation, he scrambled for an excuse that would banish her sorrow as quickly as possible. "It's a tavern full of drunk einherjar. Not exactly a good time to ignore my surroundings when fists could fly at any moment."
No response. He looked down at Eivor, gazing into the distance and her brow furrowed in thought. After a minute she offered a hum, then turned back to him with an inspired shine in her eyes. "Well, why don't we use that trick now? I'll help you calm down."
Heimdall paused, suspicious, but not in a way that alarmed him. It was more like he was…wary of what she was trying to pull rather than assuming she meant any harm. "That's a lie." The first lie he had ever caught her telling, actually. That was definitely a record. Usually people lie to him almost immediately after meeting him.
To his surprise, she just smiled. "Yes, it is. But don't worry, I have an idea." She patted the blanket, beckoning him to sit down.
Why did the invitation make his heart stutter? He'd sat down next to her plenty of times now.
He did as she asked, allowing him to realize why this felt different. Sitting on a blanket felt more…intimate. He wasn't used to it at all.
He still didn't like the idea of not knowing exactly what she was doing — it didn't seem like she did either, for that matter — but she had earned enough of his trust at this point. Even if her intention to "test" him didn't make any sense.
"Okay, we're going to do the same thing we did the first time. Close your eyes, deep breath, and focus on one thing at a time." Eivor performed the routine with him, placing her lyre to the side and out of the way. Heimdall followed her lead, once again unsure of what exactly he was supposed to think about when he was doing absolutely nothing. There were a few birds flying around, the breeze was nice…Eivor was there.
Off his mind went, just like the first attempt. Once he remembered that she was next to him he couldn't shake the feeling of her presence. Her warmth, her steady breaths, her voice ringing out once more. "Keep breathing, keep thinking. The only thing here is whatever is on your mind."
That thought didn't help his fixation. It made him rethink the night before, when she…hugged him. He was never one to crave companionship, he loathed being touched, and his personal space extended well beyond arm's length, and yet he wanted it to happen again. Just thinking about it —
In a snap his foresight shrieked, his arm pouncing on its own to catch the oncoming threat. His eyes shot open and immediately flew to Eivor, wondering if this danger had come for her as well.
"It worked!" Eivor cheered, smiling at him brightly.
Heimdall paused, unable to fathom what had just unfolded. "What?"
"Your foresight!"
Heimdall looked to the hand that had caught something and found her wrist in his grasp, palm poised to slap him.
All he could do was blink.
Eivor wasn't perturbed by his silence, rambling on, "So then, technically, I was wrong. You can't turn off your foresight, but you can filter it to a degree." As she spoke her hand twisted and her fingers pointed around, gesticulating randomly just to accompany her thought process. Heimdall's eyes remained on the point of contact as he felt her wrist flex and twist. It was somehow more distracting than any rambunctious einherjar he ever had the displeasure of passing by. "It seems that danger is the hardest to ignore," she continued. "Which makes sense. Even someone without foresight would duck when something is thrown at them, so why wouldn't a man with foresight react when he can feel a hit coming?" Her grin was proud and filled with satisfaction.
Heimdall just stared, processing her logic. So this was all a ploy to prove that there was no danger to inhibiting his foresight…therefore no reason not to use her trick regardless of where he was?
Clever. And interesting. If this was true then he could use it whenever he needed to venture through a crowd. The thought was tempting, even liberating in a way. As much as he wanted to agree with her and believe this was a positive discovery, he was still reluctant, not trusting anyone enough to let their intentions out of his sight for more than a moment.
Maybe he would use it around her more often instead. Clearly things got more interesting when she could get the jump on him.
The thought made Heimdall smile in amusement, enjoying the reminder that there was never a dull moment with her. "So you were actually going to hit me? Knowing that there was a real possibility that I wouldn't stop it?" Stern, but his smirk negated whatever effect his tone had.
Eivor gave him a fake pout. "Aww, is the big bad watchman afraid of a tiny tap?" Heimdall threw her wrist away with a roll of his eyes, making her giggle. "I wouldn't have hit you that hard."
"You still would have hit me."
"Oh, please, I've hit you much harder in the past than I would have today." Heimdall shook his head, bitter that she brought up their fight in Muspelheim yet again. Eivor let out another chuckle, knowing exactly what he was thinking about. She decided to make it up to him by retrieving her lyre and playing once again. The irritation faded, and Heimdall found himself just sitting, listening, gazing across the gorgeous plains of Asgard with a content smile. With Eivor at his side.
He completely forgot he was in the middle of his work.
A black raven flew off.
The All-Father sifted through his extensive notes, determined to find every clue he needed. Every single movement, every step taken, every word spoken that would bring about Ragnarok and its outcome was hidden somewhere, waiting for him to find and herd into his fine tuned control. Such a monumental goal left him cursing the green rift in front of him that held all the answers for being close enough to touch but too far to reach even after all these centuries. The mask was the key, the only one that could fit the complex lock on the door to all the answers he needed. If only he could just find the rest of it, everything would fall into place. But until then, he would have to settle for precautions and influence. His fate had to be in his own hands, for him to mold and carve into his desires. There was no other way to live.
His train of thought was broken when one of his beloved ravens swooped in, cawing like it had just lost a wing. Odin sighed, holding out his arm for the bird to perch upon. "What's so urgent, Huginn? Can't catch enough rats to keep you fed?"
Huginn squawked while flapping his feathers with fury, offended that his own master would imply he was so inept at basic avian skills. The raven bounced from Odin's arm and onto the desk, careful to avoid stepping on any of his scribblings. Another squawk, this one more controlled.
"What about them?" Odin barely even lifted his eye from his desk.
Caw! Caw!
Odin sighed once more. Huginn had been adamant that he keep an eye on Eivor and Heimdall, but he didn't need to be reminded of it constantly. He wasn't oblivious, oh no. He had paid close attention to his most trusted and loyal servant and his "friendship" with Asgard’s latest tool. Not long ago Huginn burst into the study, telling him all about Eivor's introduction to the top of the wall — how close they had gotten.
It was…unexpected. Frankly, Heimdall was the last weapon within his arsenal that he ever expected to get involved with any person. The god could barely tolerate working with others for business reasons.
Exactly what Odin wanted.
Which was why this was not a concern to him. The old Aesir waved a hand dismissively at the bird. "Yes, I've seen it. And I have yet to find a reason to stop it."
Chirp!
"What do you mean, why?" Odin harrumphed, still refusing to take his gaze off of his work. "There's no reason to. This is Heimdall we're talking about, remember? Sooner or later he'll see something he doesn't like and drop it like it never happened. Worst case scenario is that he gets bored and moves on."
Squawk!!
"How do I know?!" Odin finally gave the raven his full attention, glowering down at it with his one good eye. "I know because I made him that way," he bellowed, repeatedly tapping a finger on the table for emphasis. "No matter what anyone does, he's always going to be loyal. I made sure of that." He went back to shuffling through papers, though now he had lost his momentum and couldn't recount where he left off. "Between that and his foresight, there's nothing to worry about. Besides, we need Eivor too. She may not be as useful, but her abilities and immunity to magic are one of a kind, not even the norns can track her, based on my observations. Should Ragnarok come, we'll need her."
Huginn paused, almost convincing Odin that he had been quieted for the time being. Then the raven sent an image his way.
Odin's eye snapped upward at the bird's vision. Eivor had been getting Heimdall to abandon his foresight. Momentarily, and he was still reluctant. But that left a hole in his plan.
A hole in the airtight plan he had been crafting for generations.
This would not do.
Then again, he thought, Heimdall's loyalty was more than a lifetime in the making, and Odin's means of securing it were not easily overcome, regardless of who or what was intervening. Even if that weren't the case, he had already made mental arrangements for what he would have Eivor do if the ultimate war came about, and he needed that security. Even if she broke down whatever barriers had been made around Heimdall, getting rid of her was a last resort. Those protective spells and her skill with staves were essential to his army.
The old man pondered, analyzing just how his options weighed against each other. It was still far too early to make a sensible judgment. Perhaps a test was in order.
Odin glanced at Huginn one last time before closing all his books and deciding to take care of other labors until he could get some peace and quiet to focus. "You've been keeping an eye on them so far. Why don't you continue doing that and tell me how this test works out..." The Aesir king dragged the book with his notes on the realm-sealing relic stuffed inside to the center of his desk. That next piece just became a priority.
The secluded fire pit on the outskirts of Gladsheim was all but forgotten. Eivor almost always made a trip to the top of the wall when she wanted to sing, knowing Heimdall would end up there eventually, usually in the evenings — though, there were times when she'd catch him in the morning, leading to him staying until he remembered he had work to do. She'd just play and read until she heard him approach, then they were back to the banter and discussions they always had. The specific spot Heimdall had brought her to see the Plains of Ida became their new hideaway, and with this one being so far from anyone, Heimdall found himself almost letting loose completely, never minding any nosy farmers wandering by and focusing completely on Eivor's sweet music and even sweeter voice.
In fact, Heimdall found himself doing many new things. In the past he would stop and speak to her if their paths happen to cross outside of their get-togethers. After they claimed the wall as theirs, however, he unconsciously wandered to wherever he heard she would be, even pretending that he was there by coincidence, just to have a few words with her. She knew it wasn't a coincidence. He knew that she knew it was intentional, yet she made no arguments, and he made no attempt to stop. It was like a game, one with no real win conditions or strategy. She would keep an eye out for him, knowing he would turn up sooner or later, and he would find ways to sneak up on her, all so they could exchange knowing looks that no other could understand. It was playful, childish, and neither of them cared.
The downside was the witnesses. Occasionally speaking was one thing, as was both of them disappearing without anyone's knowledge. But running into each other several times a day, and catching Eivor take the lift up to the wall often? That raised some eyebrows.
People were picking up on it, and it showed. When they interacted onlookers would watch like a rabid bear was tearing a rabbit to shreds. Their fear of the god of foresight prevented anyone from speaking up, or even looking at them while they watched things unfold, aware that Heimdall would not miss their disapproval.
All but one onlooker. Sif. She had become more involved as of late, finding more opportunities to invite Eivor to visit the mortals outside the wall, to help her make sure Thrúd's brothers weren't too rough when she played with them, to run errands for Odin. She timed these requests very well, always asking just before Eivor would grab her instrument and head to the lift. At first, Eivor didn’t mind. Sif was a friend that acted like a concerned parent, keeping a close eye on her and trying to keep her away from trouble. After a couple weeks of this, Eivor became more and more annoyed. Not by her concern, but by her blatant belief that she should not be around Heimdall as much as she was.
One event in particular stuck out to her. Sif invited her to come with her while she delivered some urgent and crucial orders to the dwarves in Svartalfheim. Eivor refused, which made Sif give her a look that hid none of her worry. "You sure you don't want to come?"
Eivor shrugged. "I've always kept to myself in the evenings."
"Yes…but you seem to be…" she hesitated, wondering how she could word this without it coming across as controlling. "You've been spending a lot of that time with Heimdall lately."
Eivor became shy, seeking denial as a response. "Not with him in particular…just on the wall. The view is really nice."
The elder goddess's frown somehow deepened. "And he lets you go there?"
This made Eivor smirk. "We've worked together for some time now. He knows better than to argue."
A sigh was her only response. Reluctantly, Sif voiced the one phrase she had tried to avoid. "Is he…holding something over you?"
It took all of Eivor’s strength not to scowl at her. Heimdall, forcing her to stay with him on the wall? The man may have been a prick but he wouldn't force her into something she didn't consent to, that much she knew, even if no one would believe it. She had a hard time imagining Heimdall forcing anyone into that situation, considering he didn't like people in general. Instead of claiming as much, wanting to prevent a conversation she could feel brewing in Sif's mind, Eivor held back and replied with something that displayed her confidence. "Thor's told you about Muspelheim, hasn't he? You think I'd let him get away with that?"
Sif didn't appreciate the joke. Her eyes grew weary and her shoulders slumped just a bit, defeated. "I guess not." Pause. "But if he ever gives you trouble, please tell me."
Eivor felt her teeth grind together. It was becoming harder and harder to contain her agitation. It happened all the time. Everyone would see that she made a choice to befriend Heimdall — a choice she was able to make based on her own observations — and yet everyone always assumed the worst. Heimdall was forcing her, she believed he was lonely and pitied him, All-Father was asking them to bond for a potential marriage or some other absurd idea like that. She's seen some of the looks Heimdall gets when they chat. They think that Heimdall is toying with her for entertainment, playing a game with a willing participant just to laugh at them once he pulls the rug out from under them. Not a single one of them considered that all of it was completely mutual.
Were they blind? Did they not see that she was in control and that she just liked Heimdall? That they were friends? It made her want to scream to the entire city that, even though he was a massive jerk with a huge ego, he wasn't horrible through and through. He had flaws, many of them at the front of his demeanor, but he had bits of him that were as warm and pleasant as the morning air after a midnight storm, just like anyone else. At the very least, they should acknowledge that he works hard to protect everyone even though he knows they hate him, which was selfless of him and unfair of them by her standards. They just refused to see it.
It was enticing, the idea of just revealing to everyone that they have a wonderful time together, the things he had said and done that were heartwarming, how much fun he could be if he didn't need to be on guard constantly. But no. That would violate the trust that had made this relationship possible, and she couldn't even think about how much worse he would be if he found out the one person he opened up to betrayed him, even if it was in such a small way.
She kept it to herself, wishing Sif well on her errand and narrowly containing her frustration until she reached the top of the wall, where she plopped down with her legs dangling off the edge and sighed. In a moment she picked up her flute. If she was still upset when Heimdall arrived he would no doubt see it, and the reason for her anger was something she was not ready to explain.
They didn't matter, she told herself. What did matter was her and Heimdall, and how much they enjoyed each other's friendship.
The term made spirits sink. Yes, that was all this was, wasn't it?
"Flute day?"
Eivor jumped, the words spoken right next to her ear. She growled in irritation as Heimdall laughed and sat next to her, looking far too pleased for her liking. "Don't do that! I could have dropped it!"
He chuckled, "Worry not, Songbird, I wouldn't allow such a tragedy to occur." Eivor rolled her eyes, knowing that his foresight wasn't prescient enough to predict inanimate objects. "No lyre today?"
She shoved whatever thought she had as far as possible, pretending that there was nothing on her mind other than Heimdall's question. "I wasn't feeling it as much. Why do you ask?"
"You can't sing with a flute."
Eivor smiled, catching the slip up. "Is that a bad thing?"
Heimdall blanched, realizing he was about to blab about his preference for her voice. He gave an uninterested shrug. "It's…more dynamic with more than one instrument." There, that wasn't a confession. Not that it worked. Eivor was flattered, he could feel it. He should have known that she was too observant to miss his mistake.
She also sensed his discomfort, deciding to spare him from it. With the flute returned to its pouch, she sought a distraction. "Well, if you're going to complain, then no music at all then. Heimdall pursed his lips in annoyance and it made her snicker. "Tell me about your day instead. What's the latest hot gossip you've picked up on?"
After getting over her ludicrous phrasing he went on and on, telling her all about the apprentice chef and old goat farmer's affair that started months ago, that Hrist and Mist both believed Gna's skills were inferior to Sigrun's, that the errand Magni performed while his father was severely intoxicated went horribly wrong. The usual.
But it didn't last long. He forwent the talk about himself in favor of reviewing the book he was reading, one that she recommended to him. Just like that all his duties and complaints didn't matter, and he was lost to one of the things he enjoyed.
This. This was what she meant. This was what Eivor wanted everyone to see someday. No pedantical micromanagement, no cruelty born of mistrust and ill experience, no unshakable hand of Odin. Just Heimdall, passionate and attentive and content. Hilarious in his own way, curious and inquisitive, not as selfish as everyone assumed. It was such a privilege to see it. With each passing day it became harder and harder to hide how much it meant to her, and that the word "friend" was less and less fitting, no matter how much she tried to keep it to herself.
Heindall paused, brow furrowed and eyes looking at her with bewilderment. Eivor was the one who had slipped now, forgetting he could sense her increasing enjoyment. Her lips parted to urge him to continue, make it seem like her emotions were not something he needed to think too much about. A blue feathered raven interrupted, landed on a rock behind them with its gaze landing on the watchman. He sighed, sounding disappointed, then brushed it off and bid her good night. Muninn's beady eyes examined her before taking him away.
They were somehow much more…disturbing than she remembered.
The next day Eivor was called to Odin's study. It was strange that the message was delivered through servants. Up until then she was usually summoned there via Heimdall.
She entered the room, gently closing the door behind her while she listened for Heimdall's unmistakable reports to Odin.
There were none. Once she turned she found the room empty, save for Odin and Huginn. Strange. Maybe he's on his way, she thought. But something felt different. Off.
"There you are, Eivor! Come in, come in, don't be shy," Odin beckoned with a wave of his hand. Eivor complied, stepping up to his desk to see his notes and the five pieces of the artifact that had been recovered. If she remembered correctly, Odin claimed there were seven to be found.
That's all? Perhaps that was why this felt so odd. It was a reminder that her time dedicated to working alongside Heimdall was nearing its end.
The All-Father shook her of those thoughts, getting straight to the point. "I'm sure you've guessed that I've got a new piece for you to track down. This one's unfortunately in Helheim, of all places."
Eivor's white brows raised. "Helheim? Is it even possible to get to it then?"
"With my ravens taking you beyond the Bridge of the Damned, yes. Hraesvelgr likely won't be pleased, but so long as you don't cause trouble she shouldn't interfere. You'll just have to be quick." Odin's eye raised to her. There was something in it that was…calculating.
Before she could ask how long it would take for Heimdall to join her the door to the study opened. Her heart jumped with excitement until she heard how heavy the footfalls were. Not at all like Heimdall's light and nimble ones.
"All-Father." Thor stopped next to her, towering over her as he did everyone else. His speech was slurred, but he seemed coherent enough. So why would he burst in when his father was in the middle of business?
"Took you long enough," the king snapped, returning his gaze to Eivor, this time with a softer feel. As he handed her one of the recovered pieces she couldn't help but think the amiable expression felt awfully fake. "Thor will be going with you," was all he said before he mumbled a phrase, orange magic dripping from his fingers and over to his two employees, filling them with a lingering warmth.
Eivor felt her heart drop, worried. "Forgive me, All-Father," she paused, glancing at Thor, "and no offense to you, Thor. Heimdall usually attends these errands. Is he not well?"
Odin barely looked up from his notes. "I need him today. Don't worry, you'll be the brains of the operation. Just tell Thor where to swing his hammer when you need it, that's all he's good for anyway."
It was subtle, but Thor seemed to deflate just a touch at his father's harsh criticism. Eivor had a hard time holding her tongue, thinking that no father should speak to their child in such a demeaning way regardless of age or any apparent mistakes. "I see…" she murmured.
Without another word, Huginn lifted off from his desktop perch and enveloped them in ravens, sweeping them up and into Helheim. As the birds encapsulated them in their tornado, she asked, "Is Heimdall doing something important?"
Thor gave an indifferent shrug. "Don't think so. He's making sure some orders are being carried out in Svartalfheim. All-Father probably sent him since he scares the shit out of the dwarves."
Eivor nodded, just as puzzled. If Odin only needed intimidation, wouldn't Thor do just as well?
She was missing something.
There was no time to consider as the biting cold gripped them. Whatever spell Odin used was keeping her warm enough, but the freezing winds still nipped at her skin and made her shiver. Not even the All-Father could completely fend off the cold of Helheim, it seemed.
Upon inspecting the realm, this was likely the one place Eivor didn’t want to see and explore. The mountains of ice that had lost souls plodding across them were unsettling, and the abandoned statues and architecture made the realm of the dead feel just as lifeless as its title suggested. Capsized and crumpled boats lie destroyed in the frozen ocean underneath the cliff behind them, the stagnant water stretching far into the distance, like an unending wasteland of death and suffering. At the horizon was the fabled eagle of Hel, Hraesvelgr, sitting gracefully on a humongous iceberg, staring daggers at them in a way that sent more chills down Eivor's spine than the unforgiving wind did.
Why did this have to be the one time Heimdall didn’t come with her? For once she was frightened at the thought of exploring. Despite how capable Thor was, his presence didn't sooth her nearly as much as just the idea of Heimdall's did.
"So uh…" Thor slurred, eyes unfocused. "Where we goin'?"
"Oh, right…" Eivor said, withdrawing the relic shard from her pocket. The spell revealed the path to the shard they were pursuing, winding up the icy mountain above them to the summit, accessible by the pathways that the lost souls were trudging down. She felt herself sigh in relief. This one was close and the path to it was simple. It would be a quick chore that they could complete and then escape the bitter realm without incident. "It's this way," she called to Thor, who dragged his feet to follow her.
The base of the frozen path made her hesitate. There were so many souls, cold and abandoned, coming down the slope, and she didn't want to disturb them on their journey to…wherever they were supposed to go. Until one soul walked straight into her, fading into dust before reappearing behind her. It was a peculiar sensation, like freezing wind blowing only as far as where she stood, then cut off abruptly. She would have preferred never to feel it again, but there was little choice. Thor could travel by Mjolnir, but she had only seen it end in an explosive landing thus far, which would likely destroy or move the piece they needed. Too destructive for their purpose, based on her experience.
Thor caught up to her, seeming to have a clearer mind for a brief moment. "They're dead, kid. You won't bother 'em." Spoken softly, like he was reassuring a frightened child.
Eivor sighed, still unable to shake the unease. "I know." She braced herself and took the first steps, the dead dispersing around her as she advanced, Thor's thudding steps sluggishly following. Her mind begins to wander, slowly beginning to detest how quiet it was. Nothing but the howl of the wind and the deceased, no birdsong or leaves rustling, no conversation that she could think of sharing with Thor at a time like this, no banter with Heimdall…
She held back a sigh. It really just wasn't the same without him. To think she would have given anything to have Thor accompany her months ago.
The god in question spoke, gravelly voice echoing in the decaying air. "What's this thing supposed to look like?"
"Well, it's not much. Just a —" Eivor shrieked as the ice wall burst just behind her head, a blue arm grabbing at the movement beyond its confines. She stumbled forward, getting away from the draugr that dug its way through the ice to reach her. In the moment after her recovery she found herself wishing Heimdall and his self-proclaimed "perfection" were there to predict that.
Thor acted. A bit too much, actually. His enormous hand shot out and seized the draugr by the chest, banging it into the wall hard enough for it to crack. Eivor didn’t need Heimdall's foresight to see where this was going. "Thor, be care —" It was too late. Thor summoned his mighty hammer into his grasp and hurled it into the draugr, obliterating it and the ice around it. The mountain crumbled, chunks falling all around them. Eivor backed into an ice pillar and quickly ducked behind it, covering her ears at the rumbling roar of the landslide. The sound slowly died down until shards of ice skittered across the ruined ground. Eivor stood and looked up. Just as she feared, the mountain that they were meant to traverse was no more and the path to the next relic piece now aimed downward, light faint as if the magic itself wasn't certain how to reach their goal now.
Eivor blinked, the realization that her and Thor's assignment just became much, much longer. For once she was wishing for Heimdall's theatrical approach for its subtlety. And if Heimdall was considered subtle by comparison, that really said something.
The crackling of lighting preceded Thor's return, the god having tumbled down with the ice he had shattered. He rose back up to the ruined platform where Eivor remained with a firm grip on Mjolnir until he was on his feet. The giant god sniffed and sighed, sounding like he had just woken up from a nap. Placing his legendary hammer back onto his belt, his glazed eyes went back to Eivor. "Where to now?"
A deep, reluctant sigh was all he got as she rubbed her temple.
She missed Heimdall. In many more ways than she thought she would.
Heimdall strutted across the wall, the afternoon sun turning the stone into a warm grey. Sif had taken forever in Svartalfheim, instructing the dwarves as if they were delicate children that needed to be coddled instead of the lunkheaded miners they were. As fun as it was to watch the dwarves cower in his presence, it got old very quickly if he couldn't actually do anything to them.
But finally, the task was done and he was home. He was finishing his rounds and off to the last part of his routine. The tension in his shoulders was relaxing at the thought of Eivor’s music already.
Then he got closer to their meeting place. And closer. And closer. Yet he still heard nothing.
Odd…sometimes she was reading, that must have been why she was so quiet. The silence didn't mean anything was different.
Unfortunately it did, confirmed by her absence. Heindall felt his brow furrow and nervousness gather in his chest. There was no reason for him to be anxious. Yet he still was, wondering what had prevented her from meeting him. Her safety was the first thing to cross his mind, but there was nothing in the realm that would cause her serious harm. He worked hard to make sure of that.
Perhaps Odin would fill him in on some work she was given while he was busy. With that in mind he traveled to the All-Father's study to give his daily report.
"Good, everything's in order then," Odin said, eyes down on the book in front of him as he sat behind his desk. "With that settled I just need Eivor to get back from Helheim with the relic shard and we can call this a productive day."
Heimdall felt his blood run cold. Helheim? Alone?
"Forgive my unnecessary query, All-Father, but you sent her there on her own?" Eivor was strong enough. She was capable. She could handle herself. He didn't need to let the crippling worry settle in as fast as it was. But all he could think about was her using her copycat trick, tiring herself out on the endless draugr until she couldn't face them any longer… The imagery terrified him, so much that he couldn't even feel his typical hatred for the emotion.
Odin snapped him out of the nightmare with a dismissive tone. "I sent Thor with her. They should be back soon."
"Thor?!" Heimdall recoiled at his own exasperation. In front of Odin, no less.
The Aesir king didn't react as strongly as expected, merely closing his book and folding his hands over it, fixing his loyal follower with an emotionless, unreadable stare. "Is that a problem?"
Heimdall had to control himself. Sure, Thor wasn't so incompetent that he would let something happen to Eivor, even if he was nearly blackout drunk, but it still filled him with…
Anger. Fury, indignation, horror, disappointment, all manner of emotions, and none of them pleasant.
Searching for the relic, traveling the realms in pursuit of its fragments. That was theirs. No one else's.
But they were sent on All-Father's orders, and that was something he could not object to, no matter how much it made his stomach lurch and blood boil. "Not at all, All-Father," Heimdall confidently replied with a slight bow, voice more even than it felt. "I'm merely concerned for any…issues Thor would cause while involved with something so fragile." He was referring to the relic, but something in the back of his mind thought of Eivor instead.
"Your concern is sound. They have been gone longer than expected…" Odin said with disinterest, turning his attention to Muninn and smoothing out the raven's feathers. "But Eivor is resourceful and intelligent enough to manage him. They'll do just fine."
Odin dismissed him with a careless wave of his hand, and Heimdall obeyed without a second thought.
His steps grew heavier as he reached the first floor of the lodge, growing into stomps as he slammed the doors open, sending any residents fleeing.
Why was he so pissed off?
Muninn was high above, tailing him.
Eivor exited Odin's study with a sigh, exhausted and achy from the seemingly unending trek through Hel. The relic was retrieved, but not before Thor caused another catastrophic disruption that forced them to take another route…twice. It was already nightfall, the stars poking through the dark sky as the moon peeked over Asgard’s wall.
Heimdall's wall, she corrected herself with a chuckle. Despite how tired she was, she still made her way to the lift, thinking Heimdall had waited for her at the top.
She frowned when he wasn't there. The disappointment drained whatever energy she had left. With weighted spirits she returned to her cottage, deciding she would have to see him tomorrow. Even if she was incredibly let down that she hadn't seen him at all that day.
The next morning she left early, hoping to catch him on his early routine. Again, he didn't come.
She was growing concerned, wondering if something was wrong. The better part of the morning was spent asking about him, but everyone she asked would flinch at his name, the blood draining from their face before insisting that they hadn't seen him and didn't know anything of his whereabouts. Most servants were terrified of him, sure. This, however, was an entirely new level of fear.
It wasn't until she ran into Sif at the Great Lodge that she got an answer. "Heimdall? Honestly, it's for the best that you've missed him. He's been in a terrible mood lately," she explained casually, sipping mead with Magni while the younger god sharpened his rectangular sword. Eivor couldn't help but feel bad for the servants who watched him, lamenting the sight of the metallic dust he was leaving behind.
So. Heimdall was in a bad mood. "Isn't he always in a bad mood?" Eivor could picture the look he would give her at that remark.
Sif chuckled, "Well, yes, he is irate often. But this time he's especially short-tempered. Something's really upset him, it seems."
Heimdall was upset and he didn't go to Eivor for relief? Strange. Either he was so cranky that he didn't want to even look at another person (possible), or she was the problem. That wouldn't make sense though. He was fine last she saw him, and she wasn't in Asgard after that, making the latter a less logical explanation. "Do you know when it started?" Perhaps there were some clues to dig up.
With a shrug, Sif replied, "I'm not exactly sure. He was irritable after we returned from Svartalfheim, but not this much. I think…after he reported to All-Father maybe?"
Not as helpful as Eivor had hoped. Meetings with Odin were never a source of agitation for him. Besides, the only thing he could have learned while he was there was…
She almost failed to hold back a smirk. Oh, Heimdall. How petty you are. A smile bloomed on her lips. "Well, I guess he needs time to brood, then. Are you busy today?" Sif was delighted, inviting Eivor to accompany her while she fulfilled her duties. All Eivor had to do now was wait for the inevitable moment when they would run into Heimdall.
And eventually it came. Sif had just finished inspecting the servants' work around the lodge, ensuring everything was in tip-top shape when Eivor caught him. He was at the door to the lodge, explaining an order to Baldur — something about a potential lead to track in another realm; she wasn't interested enough to listen closely. He was standing beside the door, in the perfect position to see everyone who entered and exited. It was a golden opportunity.
While Sif led Eivor on their way out of the lodge, Baldur paused his conversation with Heimdall to down the rest of his drink, raising the stein high enough for it to be perpendicular to the roof. She focused all of her thoughts on Heimdall, knowing he would feel it. Like clockwork, he tensed, eyes finding hers while Baldur was distracted. Eivor gave him a warm grin, feeling only a tad guilty for ignoring what Sif was saying. For a moment Heimdall seemed flustered before offering a smirk in return, then brought his attention back to the other god after Baldur finished his mead.
Alright, that definitely ruled out all other theories.
Yes, he was jealous. Not in a way that made him angry at her or anyone else specifically, but it left him sour enough to avoid pretty much everybody he wasn't obligated to speak to while he boiled, more than likely too lost in his anger to even realize he had unintentionally avoided her. As much as she wanted to find the situation laughable, she couldn't. If their roles were reversed, she wouldn't want one of their last journeys spent as partners taken by another either. It was still possible that he could just be upset that Thor was sent on a quest meant for Heimdall, but he never questioned Odin's orders before, making that unlikely. So the former it was, not that he would admit it
The second part of her plan was within reach. Sif had impeccable timing, bringing up the ideal subject to make her scheme seem totally natural. "I never asked, how was your trip with Thor? I hope my husband behaved himself."
Baldur was still speaking with Heimdall, elaborating his course of action for whatever assignment Odin wanted him to complete. The watchman wasn't listening, suddenly more interested in the topic of Sif and Eivor's conversation. Which was spectacular. "Oh, Thor was fine. He only gave me a little trouble." Presented as a joke even though the frustration of Thor's hasty violence was still fresh on her mind.
Sif chuckled and started telling her a story about something Thor did, but she wasn't paying attention. Her eyes were glued to Heimdall, catching his gaze as she passed through the door to the lodge. She focused on one single thought.
Heimdall heard it, evident by the widening of his eyes. Eivor tore her green irises away, pretending that nothing happened. Now all she had to do was wait.
Heimdall had only ever rushed through his duties once before. That day was the second time.
He'd heard Eivoe think it. Not only did she think it, she intentionally let him catch it.
I wish you were there.
Given the context, there was no mistaking the meaning.
She…missed him.
The thought made a shiver run down his spine. He had to ask her about it, ask her exactly what she had missed. If it was his skills, that was one thing. But just him?
Unfortunately for Heimdall, his to-do list was long that day, stretching through the evening and into the night, the stars high in the sky by the time he was finished and heading up the wall for his final patrol.
He didn't even patrol, actually. So eager to know the truth, he completely forgot and went straight to her.
Eivor was at the wall's edge, legs dangling over the precipice and humming while she polished her lyre. Heimdall felt his pace slow to a crawl as he watched her, listening to her content voice and feeling lighter at the sound. "There you are," she called without looking his way. Heimdall fought the urge to grumble to himself for not catching how loud his approach was and met her at the edge, sitting down at her side. "You must have been busy to be running this late."
With a smug grin he shot back, "And you must be awfully bored to sit here and wait for me for so long."
As usual, Eivor matched his sarcasm without missing a beat. "I implied I was expecting you, but I never said I was waiting for you." Her smirk made him roll his eyes.
She seemed to know that he had come by with a purpose, saying nothing as he contemplated how he would breach the topic at hand. It was an inner debate that lasted far too long, but Eivor was as patient as ever, allowing him to take the time he needed. His stomach did somersaults, knowing she was always so patient with him when he was acting like a bumbling idiot.
After running through who knows how many introductory statements, he sighed and chose to be direct. While his eyes remained on the plains beyond Gladsheim, and her fingers plucked quietly at the lyre, he said with an unreadable tone, "You wanted me to hear it." Eivor's music stopped and she hummed, asking for clarification. "What you thought…in the lodge," Heimdall added, feeling his pulse quicken while the scenario replayed in his mind. "You wanted to tell me that."
Acting as if it meant nothing, Eivor shrugged. "Yeah. Isn't that obvious?"
It was, but her pointing it out didn't irritate him as it usually would have. He had to know. "Why?"
Eivor refused to meet his questioning gaze, knowing he would find things she wasn't ready to reveal if he looked into her mind. Yes, the answer she was about to give was correct, but she could feel that deep down in her heart, it was just something she wanted to do. She just wanted him to know that he had become…irreplaceable. "Well," she began, bringing the lyre to life once more as she nonchalantly explained the half-truth. "I'd heard you had been in an awful mood, one so bad that you didn't even want to come here last night." It was so small she almost missed it, but she caught Heimdall flinching slightly, like he was ashamed of his absence. "I thought hearing that might cheer you up."
Heimdall was silent. She was telling the truth, that much he could see. It was in character anyway, she did plenty of things just to make him feel better. It was not something he needed to confirm with foresight. After losing a battle to keep a smile off his lips, he quipped back, "What makes you think that would do anything for me? It's unlike you to be so arrogant."
Eivor stopped playing again, rolling her eyes. "Even a grouch like you has to lighten up when they're told that they're missed, especially with an ego like yours."
There it was. No hiding behind excuses. The nonverbal confession was now spoken. She wasn't just making him feel better. It was so much more, and Heimdall had no idea how to respond.
Though there was another thing. There was something else there this time, something she was concealing, and the fact that she avoided looking at him proved as much. Yet he felt no need to question it. For once in his life he trusted someone enough to believe they weren't telling him something for a good reason. He wasn't sure if he thought as much because of how much time they had spent together or because knowing she truly did miss him left him incapable of maintaining his cynical mask.
"Or…" Eivor continued, breaking him out of his elation with a mischievous look, "maybe I knew why you were so upset."
The god next to her was not convinced. It was hard to be considering he wasn't even sure why he was so angry. "I doubt you do."
"You were jealous."
Heimdall scowled, feeling his gut wrench in disgust at the suggestion. "Me?"
"Yes, you." So matter-of-fact that it agitated him to no end.
"That's ridiculous."
"It's really not."
"It really is."
"So you're telling me you didn't want to go with me? Instead of Thor?"
Heimdall sneered into the distance. Him? Jealous, and of Thor of all people? That was completely asinine. There was nothing for him to be jealous about. It really wasn't envy, it was…frustration. Yes, frustration that Thor had been sent to do a job that he was clearly ill suited for, was trusted with keeping Eivor safe when Heimdall knew damn well that he was the only one that was worthy of the responsibility. He was the only one who was worth her time and attention, the only one that deserved to be at her side. All others were so inferior compared to her, and as a result were unfit to work alongside her. She was so special, and that meant no other lowlife in the realms should have been sent to handle his duty to assist her, taking up time that he should be spending with her, keeping her safe, listening to her witty remarks, making her laugh, all while still finding out new things about her that somehow managed to impress him.
…that was jealousy, wasn't it? Had he been a fool he would continue to deny it, but even he had to admit that his thoughts were rather…possessive. Oddly enough, he didn't even notice that none of the things that made him jealous had anything to do with Odin changing his commands, or that his orders had been much more mundane compared to Thor's.
"Thought so," Eivor said after he remained silent while thinking through the mess in his head.
"I'm much better suited for any assignment Thor is given," he defended hastily, hating how feeble it was.
Eivor's eyebrows shot up and her grin grew wider. "Aaaaaand? What else?" With her green eyes on his he could tell she wanted him to admit it.
That he missed her too.
He could have voiced it, but something in him hesitated. Like he was scared. Of what, he didn't know. In the back of his mind the word "rejection" popped up, but that was stupid. She wasn't so foolish to think he wasn't good enough for her. No, she was too smart for that. Even so, he failed to bring his own admission forward. "I have no idea what you're talking about." He turned up his nose, looking as snooty as he sounded.
He expected Eivor to be annoyed, maybe even disappointed at his lack of cooperation. But she wasn't. Instead she laughed, understanding that he just didn't want to put any of it into words. He had a habit of avoiding that, if her analysis of his notorious language was anything to go by. With a soft giggle she relented, "Alright, fine, I just won't talk about it then."
Heimdall frowned at her, unhappy that she had implied he just wasn't addressing the subject because he didn't want to, not because there was nothing to discuss as he said. Which was true, but he didn't want her to make it known. This sour response died down too quickly when her eyes softened, a certain kind of fondness filling them. With that eye contact he could see it. She cherished these moments, valued these little things like they were the finest gems or the most potent powers in existence — no, more than that. Sitting here with him, even if he was stubbornly refusing to acknowledge the subjects that were right in front of them, meant more to her than life itself. She cherished every moment.
The wind blew just a bit, enough for the loose strands of her sandy hair to flutter across her face. As the stars danced in her eyes and her smile lit up the night like the sun brightened the day, he felt the words working their way up through his throat, ready to confess that he wished one of their last adventures outside of Asgard was not stolen from him. That those times were so, so precious to him.
Those words were swallowed as he looked away, knowing they would work their way back up if he kept examining her features. Any excuse, any comeback, anything at all that could be said to explain his silence failed him, leaving him with nothing to say at all. Eivor showed no sign of offense, accepting his wordless response without complaint. She took her eyes away from him, and before Heimdall could mourn the loss he felt her lean into his side, resting her head against his shoulder.
He didn't mind at all, he thought with a tiny smile.
Muninn returned to Odin's underground lair, bringing back news of the outcome of his master's plan. Odin looked up from the green crack in the fabric of the realms as the raven flew by, holding out a hand for the bird to land on. His one eye scanned Muninn's, taking in the images he had brought back.
So Heimdall really was acting strangely. The poor, foolishly blind god of foresight had found something else to keep his attention.
This won't do. Heimdall was his. His to use, to command, and to throw away if it came down to it. Throwing him away, of course, would only come to pass if there was no other option, and this interference made that outcome more possible than he liked. It was unacceptable. Heimdall was far too valuable to take any risks.
Then again…Heimdall's loyalty was secure, of that he was certain. And Eivor was that type, the very same as his dear ex-wife, unable to ignore what they perceived was wrong once they knew it was there. Like his Vanir ex, she was likely to disagree with him at some point and work against him once that day eventually came. Power like Eivor's was something he needed to keep within his control. Letting it run wild — or worse, into the hands of his enemies, could spell disaster. He needed to keep her on his side when it came to the catastrophe that was Ragnarok.
Odin donned a devilish smile. He had an idea.
Perhaps he should let this play out.
Muninn trilled at his master.

What I enjoy about your writing? Messy af essay incoming lol
Ok ok ok ok. So I will say right off the bat that you write every other character amazing too, of course, holy hsit I love everything you do, hashtag my idol fr. BUT ARCOBALENO wfgjjjkr! Ok so basically the arco are side characters except for Reborn. This means that you have to fill in a lot of info if you want to write extensively about them, and the source material hasn’t got a ton of info to start off with (moreso with some, like especially Fon gets jack shit lol). and even Reborn remains extremely enigmatic and chaotic in the way he acts no matter how much he shows so he is hard to nail in the first place imo. Well, basiclly this is my longass way of saying how amazing i find the way you retained just enough vibes of their OG, so it does feel like this could be exactly what we’d find if we got more of them in canon y’know, except that you managed to do all of that while ALSO sorta making it less gag-manga series but ALSO still be super funny, just the way that all of the serious moments still have this tension and all of that emotional impact and you add some really amazing depth in ways that just flew into their characters SO NATURALLY and yeah just. WOW.
And ALSO can I just say that I am so in love with the way you don’t shy away from their flaws. Like of course the temptation seems to be that when you’re adding to the personalities bc you want to extend the universe with the little arco we get to see, most want to sorta gloss over it a lot but you DONT and you're just SO EPIC for it. Like for example bc it’s the easiest lol, yes Skull really is That Obnoxious ™ and honestly he is so distinctive and funny for it and like YES, you do that. And you balance the glaring flaws with really really making them so funny and chaotic and likable and it all just serves to make an incredibly interesting characterisation that is so so enjoyable and feels super duper natural. (and ofc I said skull here but this goes for every single one of them!!)
And also Luce!!! SHE! she  deserves a part of her own ok? Justice for my homegirl. I love you, the Luce apologist we all need. You just do her so well! Luce is just this person who has always been expected to carry the world and she could have been bitter and sharp for it but NO she CHOOSES to be as soft as she will ever be allowed to and it’s actually so so strong of her to wake up every morning and still WANT to be kind when she knows that one day it won’t ever matter how kind she has been. She has so little time and she still wants to GIVE it all to the world that will take everything from her in the end. And she is still SO RESOLUTE. She’s got all of this love she doesn’t know what to do with, and she just wants the best for everyone but she wants the best for Everyone with a capital E yaknow.
And also like ofc I barge in screaming about these specific things but literally all of your writing is so so good ok!?
I just love your stuff hopeeee T_T (and you. ily you're always so sweet and a pleasure to share fandom with!!!)
BAWLING MY FUCKING EYES OUT THANK YOU I LOVE YOU. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
[SCREAMS SOME MORE] zfsrdgchgfd??!!??!!!!??? i absolutely did not expect this holy shit, you always spoil me so much with your kind words, ily. okay okay, sorry but i just had to gush over this for a bit, but i'm functional again now (< bald-faced lie).
okay so, i AM an arco writer, and like, i know that of course, but precisely because of that it means everything to me to know i’m doing it right. and it’s also very relieving because it’s like, 80% of what i write lol. i do think there’s still some of them i have yet to get the hang of (verde STILL comes to mind first 😭), but i do try to keep them in character, so i’m glad it comes through.
you know what i never realized it before but i DO tend to tone down the gag-side of their characters, that’s so interesting!! and not only theirs, but i think unless i’m expressly going for it like with my crack fics, i tend to do that with every khr character i write? that’s probably because i’m all about characters and their Feelings (tm), and as much as i love the gag side of khr too, well, you can’t just have it there too much when you’re trying for emotional impact lol.
also you said you don’t think i shy away from their flaws, and you have no idea how glad i am to hear it because i actually really think i do the opposite? well, not entirely the opposite, because i love their flaws too and they wouldn’t be half as interesting as they are without them, but again unless i’m expressly going for it like with my angst fics, i feel like i do always shy away from fully leaning into the conflict bits of my stories. from really letting them blow out to their worst. i feel like i do anyway? because ultimately i’m a big softie and i want the characters i love to get along with and kiss and be happy with each other lololol, but yeah, thank you for saying that.
AND I AM A LUCE APOLOGIST LMAO YES I AM!!!! no but for real, i LOVE this, and i’m bound to use it as my blog title eventually!! it’s like, i’ve been called a luce apologist, this is it, this is the peak of me writing luce and the superior compliment letting me know i’m writing her RIGHT. as she deserves because yes, JUSTICE FOR HER GODDAMMIT!!!!!!
and i love the way you put it too, about her loving Everyone with a capital E, because i really feel like this is the thing most people don’t get which makes her easy to dislike/hate in their eyes. and it’s so sad because they get it all wrong!! it’s not that she didn’t care about the arco, that she didn’t want to save them, that she didn’t feel guilty she couldn’t save them for the rest of her life, but she cared about them AND literally everyone else!!! she cared about the whole world too!!! and even if she had chosen the arco instead, because she would have still cared about both it would still have been just as bitter and painful a story, and that’s the tragedy of this all!!!! WHATS NOT CLICKING PEOPLE!!!!!!!!
🥺🥺🥺🥺 thank you so much. 😭😭😭🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 (and right back at you!!!! you really make my day every time you pop up in my notifs, and i’m just so grateful and happy we’re in the same fandom.
also irrelevant, but how should i call you? sorry but it’s been bugging me lol. tho tbh i always read your url wrong so i’ve been calling you scrip in my head zefsdgdws but like???)
thank you for the ask, it really means a lot! 💕💕💕

hi Morgan!! I just wanna say I love everything you write. all your fics and everything about them. I found you through your jjk works and immediately fell for your style, your narrative choices - especially your interpretation of characters! I wanted to ask you, as a fellow fanfic writer - do you feel like there is a way to overcome insecurities about one's own writing ? I struggle a lot especially with characterization - I feel like sometimes I seek this perfection that never seems to arrive and it kills the joy of writing in the first place (T_T) .. I hope this isn't too much of a personal question, if it is please ignore me. If anything I just want to say I am in love with your work! Seeing you and other amazing writers share such cool things here motivates me a lot to keep writing ( ꈍᴗꈍ) have a good day :))! Also sorry for any mistakes. English isn't my first language oof
hi fellow writer and friend!!!!!! ohhhhh that's such high praise omg I'm so touched 😭😭 I feel you so hard about your insecurities as a writer as someone who is also very deeply insecure about their own writing. I always think that everything I write could be better and despite all the effort and love I put into writing I'm never really satisfied with it. it's a curse!!! honestly I'm still trying to overcome my own negative mindset towards writing like I didn't even consider myself a real writer until recently and that was because I'm trying to claim credit where it's due. writing is so hard and I felt like I was doing a disservice to myself by not calling myself a writer. I think it's really helped to remind myself that writing is something I do for fun and in the act of bringing me joy it's also an activity that is never a waste of time. as for characterization i feel you!!! i think characterization and dialogue used to be one of my weakest points but constantly working at it made it easier. personally I go over a lot of the character's dialogue in canon material and try interpreting their words in conjunction to their actions and behavior. I typically like to put myself in the place of the author and ask myself how a certain dialogue contributes to a character's character, etc. writing is a lot more character analysis than people think! also as someone who reads over character wikis for fun I usually scan over the wiki when applicable. this might not be helpful if you can't understand Japanese but I also read the raws and a certain character's dialogue in Japanese because I find that it gives me a more nuanced overall better view of a character that translations often don't cover

« It's also such a relief to hear that my posts are interesting no matter the subject at hand. Oftentimes I wonder if I'm truly improving or not, so it has me absolutely elated to hear it from someone else outside the critical voice in my head that I'm keeping things interesting for others to read. Every day I'm learning new words and phrasings to incorporate in my own writing, which makes the asks I receive the perfect practice. I can only hope perhaps it can teach others as well and we can all learn together. » — your say.
First, I should tell you you should be proud of yourself. You’re a wondrous, an amazing writer. Every day when I go to tumblr, I visit tumblr accounts and you’re one of them. Your portrayal is CANON. Like, literally. You aren’t afraid of showing the true colors of MUKAMI Ruki, one of the reasons why I wanted to start a roleplay with you FIRST. Everything is amazing. You, improving ? Tell me you show how excellent are your writing skills please, but I know the modesty is what any artist ought to have. Our interactions are amazing, yesterday I was so happy when you sent me an ask ( about Virgina Woolf sorry I love this woman I want to CRY ) &. Ruki is one of my favorite characters because … I just feel like I am like him. Not the dark parts ofc. I am talking about his love for soup, responsibilities and literature’s passion. Anyway, you’re more than amazing and keep going. Don’t give up.
🧩 Oh my goodness, thank you so much!! This means so much to me.😭 Yes, I find much joy in displaying some of the more dark sides of Ruki for sure, his sadistic side included as well as his punishments. To be honest, I’ve never written anything like this before the creation of this blog, ahaha. I only wrote academic papers and essays, never anything fictional, so your kind words have offered me much reassurance. T_T I’m absolutely besotted with your writing. It’s flattering to roleplay with someone so, so talented. It’s people like you who help me improve, especially when I’ve never written with someone with such a beautifully verbose style. I’m looking forward to what you have to say in that ask and perhaps Ruki will have to visit the inbox more often. 👀👀👀Thank you again for your touching words of encouragement, seriously. Don’t worry, since I won’t be giving up any time soon. 😤❤️🧩

📌 Pinned Post 📌
Ayo! I'm D and welcome to my main blog. This may be overdue but better late than sorry, right? Haha lol jk
Anyway, here's the list of sub/secondary blogs that I have under archer12xx-main:
archer12xx - this secondary blog is for Tobias Fox and other Infinite Blue (it's an otome chat sim game created by Velvet Fox Games) related posts. I'm most active here (aside from my main)
beelscheeseburger - this one is for Obey Me and my love for Beel and Mammon-sama. Though I'm like a bubble on this blog lol I could disappear any time.
his-little-fool - this one's for Lucien Xu of MLQC 💜 (same with beelscheeseburger though, a bubble 😂)
d-plays-otome-and-vn-games - this one's for everything else, from twisted wonderland to pc otoges. It's kinda new and it's the reason why I decided to make a pinned post.
thepepperwoodchronicles - last and definitely not the least, my New Girl-themed blog. It's inactive at the moment but I'll be right back to it for sure (probably after I'm done with OP)
--
Kinda wish tumblr would allow us to choose which one to use when commenting and stuff. But... hope this helps! 🥰🥰
Keep reading to know more about me.
TL;DR - an introvert who loves One Piece, MCU, otoges, webtoon and manga, basketball, dogs and cats, languages, movies, and non animated tv series. Also someone who has a lot of secondary blogs. 😂
Author's Section:
Like I said above, I'm D hehe nice to meet ya!
I'm 24 and I go by she/her
Currently in college
I'm a filo living in the Philippines
English is not my first language, so if you see errors forgive me T_T I also speak Korean, a little bit. I pick up languages easily because I love learning them. But too lazy to actually study them. 😅
I sometimes write stuff and I try to draw, too (you can see some of my works on my sub blogs ^^)
I like/love a lot of stuff and a lot of characters lol namely;
On One Piece, my main man is Roronoa Zoro. I also love Shanks, Law, Pell, Katakuri, Ace, Rosinante, Smoker, (and for some reason, probably before I knew who he was) Kaku, and of course Sanji-kun and Luffy. I'd say Rayleigh and Mihawk too but not the same kind of love. I just think these two are so cool and I'd love to have them as my ojichan and otochan respectively. 😏😉 (Yes, I'd call Mihawk Otochan not jijiwe, not otosan... otochan lol)
Aside from OP, MCU is one of my other obsessions hehe but don't ask me what team I am on Civil War because you won't get a serious answer lol ✌️ I love Iron Man, though. He's my favorite Avenger. Loki is my favorite, too. And if I have to choose among the villains, I'd choose... Thanos because I hate him the most. 😅
And then there're Infinite Blue Tobias Fox, Obey Me Beel and Mammon, MLQC Lucien, Twst Leona, Jack, and Trey, TOT Vyn and Marius, Duskwood Jake, Mysme ZEN, Wannabe Challenge Biho and Yooha, Ikevamp Leonardo and Vlad (and a little bit of) Sir Arthur, Ikepri Leon and Jin, Nekopara Sage, Blooming Panic xyx, RLFC Lex and Sol, Colorful Mirai Millo, TeachersLP Edgar and Dr. Fox, Under Maintenance Theo, Love Spell Marcello, Sinsations Greed (do not judge me pls lol), and the list goes on and on and on. Lol
I also read webtoons and manga
I also watch tv series, such as New Girl, kdramas, etc.
Movies, too. Like a lot. Romcoms, action comedies, sci-fi and a little bit of Stephen King horror stuff.
I still play Left4Dead (yeah you read it right haha) and my go-to character is Zoey. Though I could never get past the freaking subway T_T (I don't want to use a walkthrough though...) Rip 💀
I love dogs and cats, despite being allergic to them lol
Taylor Swift, 5sos, and everything else.
Coffee and tea
Loves basketball, too. PBA - Ginebra Kings (Thompson and Brownlee), NBA - GSW (Klay Thompson, sometimes Curry but mostly Klay)
Anyway, this is getting too long and if I continue you might end up knowing me better than I know myself. 🤣🤣
And it's probably obvious by now, I don't have a lot of friends. 😂😂 Not just because I'm an introvert. Lol jk (serious about the introvert tho)
That's all folks! If you're still here... Wow! Thank you so much for reading this!! Stay safe, drink water everyday, take care of yourselves, and hope you're having a much better day today than yesterday! I mean that for tomorrow, as well. 💚💚💚

So. Tana? Is that correct? Well as your secret Santa thought I'd stop in and say hello! So many questions and such a limited character count. I guess I should start with the basics....who's your bias? Is it Jongdae? Your avatar is him but I don't want to just assume. How long have your been an exol? Do you have other interests? I saw your pinned post about gaming....what games are you into? Why is your favorite color your favorite color? What is your favorite color? Do you have a favourite song? If it's not an exo song which of our boys' songs is your most cherished? Go to song for a mood pick up? What sort of things do you create? Have you ever killed a man? Favorite movie or book? Why? Best moment in fandom life? What YouTube video have you watched the most?
I'll stop there and save some for later.
🎁🎄🎁
Hiii, my super awesome Secret Santa!
Tana is indeed correct~ welcome to my small corner of Tumblr!
Jongdae is my bias <333 I love him so much T_T who is your bias? or biases? I know some people have multiple, especially in bigger bands. To be honest, my ult top 10 has several EXO members! But Jongdae will always be my EXO bias, and my ult bias across all of kpop!
I've been an EXOL since... Tempo! While I enjoyed their title tracks before then, bought their songs and listened to their MVs etc, I didn't truly appreciate them until I listened to the Don't Mess Up My Tempo album. Everything clicked then, and I realised I had been so wrong about them before T_T and after listening to all their previous music it became evident that they'd always be my number one~
I do have some other interests. Like you saw, I enjoy gaming. The Mass Effect and Far Cry franchises are my everything <3 no matter what else is happening, I can always return to them and find some semblance of peace... it's hard to explain. But you can fish in FC5! Sometimes I just pop the game on to do that. Or turn on ME:A to travel between planets - it has this awesome feature where it's kinda like you're piloting the ship to each one. I've been thinking of Feros and Noveria again, which are missions in the first Mass Effect. They are my favourites! and I also need to finish my AC Syndicate playthrough so I can move forward to the next--
Sorry,,, heh, I tend to ramble T_T it's a bad habit of mine. Do you game?
My favourite colour is blue but I'm not sure why! It's just... pretty. Any colours that remind me of nighttime ambiance, stars and space, etc are my favourites too. The universe is so perfect.
Favourite song... that's too hard T_T well, I'll keep it easy by saying Monster by EXO! Which is your favourite? EXO or otherwise? and which solo is your favourite? Have you listened to Xiuminnie's new song? I LOVE IT !
I have a playlist called Cheer Up, Buttercup! and the first song in it is Good Day for a Good Day by Super Junior haha. There's a lot of GGs in it too, like Twice and Saturday.
I mainly create problems.
Err, I mean, I mainly write but I'm dipping my toes in GIF-making too!
I plead the fifth.
Interstellar is my favourite movie!! (... is it becoming obvious yet how obsessed I am with space?) and my favourite book is... wow, I can't believe I'm gonna be cliché like this but... probably Wuthering Heights? Or maybe The Gunslinger by Stephen King. What about you? I'd love to talk books or movies, especially if they are horror or sci-fi haha.
Oh... why... I'm never really sure why I like the things I do but I will say that I've seen Interstellar countless times (I even watched parts of it every time I went to the dentist lol). Before that was Avatar... and the second film is finally coming out!! T_T I'm so excited! As for the books... haha, I guess what makes a piece of media/fiction wonderful is the emotions it invokes.
It's the small things, like amazing events and excited conversations, that make fandom great.
My most watched YouTube video as of late is probably one of the music playlists I use to write, like Brian Tyler - I'm Sorry [Far Cry 3 ] (1 Hour Version) or Dark Clubbing / Bass House / Dark Techno Mix 'SINFUL'.
Now, my friend, I am curious about you! What's your most played YouTube? What do you like to create? Best part of fandom? Do you listen to music when you create? and if you do, what do you listen to?
It's so exciting to have a Secret Santa! I hope this answers your questions adequately and I look forward to your response!

helloooo! a little late, but better late than never! how you been? 💙
just passing by to continue our small talk around here ! welp my bias right now is kyuhyun, i love him so much, but also i have a soft spot for hae & teuk 😭 i think elf tumblr is kinda small, i do get happy if i see elfs here lol i joined in 2ya2yao, my first comeback ever! i don’t know if you answered before too, but what about your bias or when did you join the fandom?
thank you so much ! hope you like the recs or my fics 💙 i also found some old blogs, like old blogs from like 10 years ago HAHAHAHA i’ll add them too on the fics recs. that’s how obssessed i am, i need serious help, someone assist me.
i’ve been relaxing and taking a break recently, thank you dear! hope you’re great as well!  💙
Hello Elf-Bot! Never mind about being late here - everything happens in its right time.
I've been well~ I took the weekend off to work through some stress and burnout. I'm much better now and already back to writing! How about you, lovely? Was your weekend relaxing?
Oh! You'll fit right in with the overlapping biases. To quote Cherry anon:
We now have a mini elf fam 🥺🥺 we got a leeteuk/ryeowook biased, a donghae/zhoumi biased and now a kyu/eunhyuk biased (me 🕺💃 also biased leeteuk and zhoumi)
And now we have another Kyuhyun biased, with a dash of TeukTeuk and Hae! Sharing is caring it seems.
Oh!! 2ya2yao! What a fun comeback to join the fandom with! [Immediately gets the song stuck in my head - damn SuJu, why most every song be such a banger 😭]
How did you like Mango? I just feel like it's certified iconic in my heart. Idk, maybe that's just me... but it has, like, the vibe of Mamacita and Sexy, Free and Single in that it will always be that bxtch, y'know??
Short answer: My first SuJu MV that I watched around release was either Black Suit or Lo Siento!
Long answer: The issue for me when it comes to remembering first MVs and comebacks and what got me into a group is that I just let YouTube recommend me things and then I watched it all out of pure fascination whilst also letting Spotify (back when I used to use it) feed me music at work. So I didn't know what was new or old - I just consumed. I can tell you the exact moment I fell in love with EXO (because I originally dismissed their vocals omg this is my shame) and I can explain the feeling certain older songs give me because Spotify used to suck and just play the same few BigBang, BoA, and SuJu songs for me over and over and now those songs are interwoven into my memories, perfectly sliced out images and sounds that play on loop when I reminisce. But overall... that period of time was a mess of me absorbing any and all kpop I could get my grubby little hands on. Black Suit definitely pushed me along that path to stanning, especially after the negative Reddit / online posts about SuJu that originally deterred me. And still to this day it holds a very special place in my heart ♡ as does Bonamana because of Spotify!
Ahem... sorry, I rambled >.<
Anyway my bias is Leeteuk but Ryeowook is in my ult top 10 biases, if that makes sense 😭
Hehehe, we love to see it tho!! It's awesome when you find a band that's been around for awhile because you have a lot more content to consume! I'm always on top of new debuts and releases these days so even if I got into one of them, there would be nothing to watch or read. Sometimes it's better to go back to older groups and just enjoy a steady, dedicated fandom that has stuck with them through high and low.
Stay shining lovely! Sending you good vibes~
[Omg this is so long, I'm SORRY T_T]

Paranormal... activities ?
Am I capable of naming my stories ? Probably, if I tried. Do I try ? Absolutely not.
Hewwo evewyone, I usually never post my writing on sideblogs and such but look, this sideblog is for the boys, there’s a challenge specifically for the boys, I’m not about to post it on my writing sideblog. Nobody follows it anyway and I’m not a fool
I know I’m not posting this in time. :3c
Summary: in short, the adventures of Minho and Jisung in the abandoned house.
Content warning: I don’t think there’s any warning to be given ? It’s supposed to be spooky month but it’s more humourous than anything ! I guess there’s some cussing though. And maybe bad English, redundant phrasing, #notanativespeakergang.
Reblogs are very much appreciated - and if you wanna add commentary in the tags or replies you’re more than welcome to do so !
[4:12 pm]
“ You know what ? This is going to be so much fun. No, really, we’re about to have a great time - why would we not enjoy it ? We’re paranormal investigators ! Surely, it can’t go wrong. “
[11:43 pm]
“ This is the worst thing we’ve ever done. “
“ Mh. “
“ This is so, so not fun at all. “
“ Mh. “
“ I hate everything about this. I wanna go home. Can we go home ? “
“ Mh. “
“ … Are you listening to me ? “
“ Mh. “
With that last response, Jisung frowned and looked back at his friend. … Silence. Minho was completely silent. Mouth agape, eyes kind of glaring at everything and nothing at the same time, his hand holding onto Jisung’s arm pretty tightly now that he was paying attention to it… What, really ? He was going to have to be the driving force here ? Not that he wasn’t already aware of that, but… ah, geez. The younger teen took a few seconds before exhaling a soft sigh and looking around them again.
Minho’s reaction was understandable. The house wasn’t only abandoned, it looked awful ! Like the walls were rotting ( and he was pretty sure that wasn’t something walls usually did but he couldn’t attest to this if questioned about it ), the floor was much dirtier than any damn house floor should be… Weird, unsettling paintings everywhere, clothes here and there, so many broken glass bottles he couldn’t count them - some of them hadn’t been finished and the liquid which he could only assume to be alcohol had given the place quiet a stench. Terror was a pretty appropriate reaction to a place like this. He’d seen places that were less scary to sleep at.
Maybe sending them both together hadn’t been the greatest idea but he hadn’t considered the cons hard enough before agreeing. And even if he hadn’t agreed, he couldn’t have changed it.
As a full team, they were nine, rotating in two pairs each time and trying to not send the same two people all the time. The two who’d investigate were chosen randomly and, sometimes the same person could go twice in a row… As a result, this was Minho’s third time this month. Needless to say, going with Chan and then Hyunjin hadn’t been very beneficial to his already very pronounced fear of… pretty much everything. When it wasn’t the ghosts and demons and whatnot scaring him, it was the other boy present with him. With Hyunjin it wasn’t necessarily intentional, Hyunjin was just… loud at the wrong time.
Maybe agreeing to being paranormal investigators along with their entire friend group had been a mistake in itself… Couldn’t really back out anymore.
Now Jisung wasn’t exactly the most reassuring presence either but for an entirely different reason: though not as scared as himself, he was just… more pressure. He wasn’t scared as much as he was stressed and tried to play it off like he wasn’t, obviously and maybe that made it worse. Either way, Minho was both terrified and spacing out.
Great. Truly, the most fun they’d have in their entire life.
“ Uh, so, about the occurrences… Seungmin said we should be able to hear footsteps and some whispers here, the whispers would come from a crying man, and maybe he can move stuff too so… “ Jisung spoke again, his voice shaking slightly as he tried to bring himself back on the right track. The track of not being scared for the sake of his poor friend who clearly still wasn’t listening to him.
“ Poor guy passed of heartbreak after his wife took the kids and left… Maybe he’s not that mean. Maybe– maybe he won’t try to scare us, y’know… “
He trailed off, eventually just keeping to himself. Kind of forgot where he was going with this anyway. He was more focused on observing their surroundings while Minho was seemingly finally coming back to his senses - and with a small gasp and his other hand now holding Jisung’s arm as well, he shook his head to make sure he was, at last, processing things right.
“ Great, so, what’s up with the footsteps then ? “ He immediately asked, trying to take a look around as well. The least he could do.
“ Oh, dude had a pet dog that let itself die after his owner passed… “
“ A dog ? “
“ And a cat. But dog footsteps are louder than cat footsteps. “
“ Of course they are. “
Minho rolled his eyes, shaking his head again with a sigh. That earned Jisung another frown. “ What ? It’s true ! “
“ Mh. “
Ugh, great. The boy stared for a few seconds before sighing in his turn. Was there really no way to put the other in a good mood ? Well, the setting probably didn’t help either, but now that was just getting upset over a problem that didn’t even exist. So he was afraid of ghosts but cat ghosts are fine ? Ridiculous ! For one, he was scared of both equally.
Still, as much as he hated doing this - and especially doing this with Minho -, he at least wanted the atmosphere to not be tense for no reason at all. He had to fix it. He had to make something up on the spot and then the others would make fun of him for it when they’d hear about it. Yup.
“ W- well, I’d forgotten about that but… Um, Seungmin also said that… that you can– I mean, sometimes, rarely, you can hear… uh… the cat ! You can hear it ! “
An admirable attempt. Maybe the other’s face lit up a little at the words, too.
“ He said that ? “
“ Yeah ! If we’re lucky… I mean, maybe lucky isn’t the right word but we can hear it meow ! And… purr… and scratch the walls…? “
“ You’re kidding, of course lucky’s the right word ! Okay, where do we start ? “
The sudden enthusiasm from his previously mortified friend sure managed to throw Jisung off. Once again staring for a few seconds, time for him to think of something to answer with and to deal with how easily his lies had been eaten up, god he’d hate himself if Minho found out he lied, he eventually seemed to gain all of his confidence back and flashed a bright smile. One of those smiles that make it seem like he’s not only confident, but cocky about it as well.
“ I suggest we… go separate ways to visit ! So we can get it all done fa– “
“ Pass, next. “
“ Wha– Why ? I thought we were good ! “ Jisung exclaimed, visibly taken aback once again. Was this ever going to make any sense ?
“ So long as I haven’t heard the cat I’m not gonna be any good and I certainly don’t wanna be left alone here,” Minho retorted, his grip on Jisung’s arm not loosening. “ Chan tried. I left the building. “
“ But Chan’s an ass when we’re investigating, and I’m not ! “ He knew he wasn’t changing anybody’s mind. “ Ah, fine. But we’re gonna have to stay awake muuuch longer. “
Minho shrugged. “ Fine. I got snacks in my bag. “
“ Well, cool. “
“ Yeah. “
Silence. Jisung was pulling a face. Minho was looking around, though this time probably more avoiding Jisung’s face than actually looking around. Jisung considered the possibility of them doing standup comedy rather than paranormal investigation in the future, with how comical every situation they got into ended up being, but that probably wouldn’t really pay bills… not that paranormal investigation did though. Oh, and they had all of this on tape, right. He’d kind of forgotten they had cameras.
The silence kept on going before Jisung of course it’d be him gave in and gestured vaguely. “ I guess we’re gonna start with… downstairs. That’s not where the guy died apparently so we shouldn’t see anything but we can still hear the footsteps, and the sobs. But we’d hear them better upstairs so for now– “
Cut off by a door slamming, followed by the both of them screaming and Jisung almost dropping the camera he was holding. And silence again. Two weak hearts needed some time to calm down and assess the new state of things, which was different in one way: a door, they did not know which nor where it was, was now closed.
This time, rather than talk, Jisung went and started walking again, Minho being forcibly dragged along despite how reluctant he might’ve been had he been able to be a little more responsive. The lights strapped to his and the other boy’s foreheads were probably the things he was most grateful for at the moment…
Their quiet investigation kept on going until after they’d gone around the kitchen. It had been quick, given the putrid smell they really wanted to get away from as quickly as possible.
Then Jisung laughed.
“ That sure was something, huh ? “ Not an ounce of confidence in his voice. Definitely faking it still though.
“ Sure was, “ Minho muttered, nose slightly scrunched up from the smell still, “ and also I don’t think I wanna see what the restroom’s like so let’s skip it. “
“ Yeah, okay. “
He’d already avoided some rooms with Jeongin once. They just pretended they lost the footage when asked about it. Surely that didn’t only happen when he was part of the investigation, right ? Eh, whatever. He’d just cut off the footage they already had so it’d seem like they opened the door.
“ Okay, anyway… Hello, ghosts ! I am incredibly NOT scared of you, and you can’t do anything to me ! “ Oh, here’s the bravado. “ Let’s just talk and have some tea, and maybe some snacks and– “
“ No, wait. Shh. “
He raised an eyebrow but complied. Something he had feared was Minho being the one to notice something, because who knew how Minho would react to anything ? If he noticed something first he could at least anticipate his reaction. Not his own, but… that was less of a problem, as surprising as it might’ve been given he wasn’t too relaxed either.
And then it came… the footsteps. Jisung felt not only himself going stiff, but Minho as well - his grip tightening on the poor boy’s arm who ended up wincing in pain instead of focusing on the noise.
“ Does… Does the dog attack ? “ Minho whispered, voice shaking slightly.
“ I… No, “ Jisung answered just as quietly, “ please don’t cut off my blood circulation. “
“ Does the dog go upstairs ? “
“ I don’t… think s– Hey, stop ! “
Here they were, rushing to the staircase, and it was Jisung’s turn to be forcefully dragged there since Minho wouldn’t release his arm.
“ Come on, that’s crazy ! There’s a dead man’s ghost on this floor, it isn’t any better ! “ Jisung tried to argue, mentally attempting to rationalise anything they would do in the next eight hours aside from sleeping very uncomfortably and complaining about it.
“ I don’t care, if you don’t know a dog you never know how it can react, everybody knows that ! “
Jisung groaned. Why did things have to be this way ? He’d almost dropped the camera again, if this kept on going like this he’d definitely lose it.
“ … Besides, I sure hope you can’t find any… alive people’s ghosts, “ Minho continued. “ What’s a “dead man’s ghost” ? Redundant. That’s what it is. “
“ Oh, whatever - you got what I meant ! “
Silence should be the third main character given how often it appears but here it is, the silence. More looking around, and kind of… trying to walk around as well, though Jisung wasn’t very into it despite the brave act he’d put on just a few minutes ago.
“ So now that we’re here… Um, we’re supposed to sleep in the kids’ room, “ he explained, trying to figure out which one of these equally dull doors led to the room in question. “ The guy’s ghost never leaves his room but he makes stuff move, so… if you hear chairs moving in the middle of the night… “
“ Yeah, I get the gist of it. “ Pause. “ And I don’t like it one bit. “
“ Guess it’s good you’re with me then, “ a response which prompted a nervous snort. “ Hey, what does that mean ? “
“ Nothing. Let’s get going. “
The next minutes were spent visiting the rooms, trying not to touch things and remaining careful of any noises they might hear. Nothing just yet, aside from the footsteps from before, and even the man’s bedroom seemed pretty okay ! Well, aside from the smell, once again. The kids’ bedroom didn’t smell as bad from what Jisung could remember of the maybe two minutes they’d spent ‘visiting’ it.
“ Hey, look at this, “ Minho called out from the end of Jisung’s arm. “ There’s a journal on the desk. It was left open. “
“ Oh, sick, let’s read it. “
And with this, the two boys jumped onto the journal. Perhaps that wasn’t the best call though ; a few seconds into it and the chair was suddenly thrown into them, reminding them they were kind of invading the privacy of an actual ghost… and yes, they ran out of the room.
Next step was locking themselves up in the kids’ room, quickly setting up their sleeping bags all while remaining glued to each other, each whispering a different list of swears and prayers before Minho spoke up with a desperate “ Man, what the hell ! “, and Jisung responding as desperately with “ I don’t know, dude ! “.
They let themselves plop down on Minho’s sleeping bag. Panting, Jisung dropping the hand-held camera to hold the other just as tight as he was being held, overall looking very comfortable with the situation they were in.
“ It moved. Right. “ Minho asked, though it was more of a statement.
“ Rammed into my legs, yes. “
“ I should’ve been the one to take it, I pointed to the journal... Sorry about that. “
“ Nah... It’s good. I shouldn’t have tried to read it. I could’ve left it alone or something... Not your fault we’re both kinda stupid. “
Jisung trailed off again, slowly resting his head on the older boy’s shoulder and giving up. That was what it was, giving up that act he was putting on so Minho would relax more, now he just wanted to…
“ Didn’t you say something about going home ? “
“ I did… I mean it more now though. “
“ Thought so... Me too. “
[2:37 am]
“ Okay, so… the cameras are set up, with the audio recording. “
“ Correct. “
“ The door and window are closed even though there’s this uh, kind of inconvenient hole in the wall here. “
“ Uhuh. “
“ And you got snacks. “
“ I do. “
“ Then does that mean we get to sleep now ? Shouldn’t get much worse than that… “ Jisung’s sentenced ended with a yawn.
“ Guess you’re right. “ Minho’s voice was as disheartened as it could possibly get. It hadn’t been much but the both of them were drained.
Jisung sighed and took the frontal camera off along with the light, setting it next to the sleeping bag then looking back at his friend, waiting for him to do the same. And he didn’t.
“ … You won’t take it off ? “
“ You never know what can happen - and in case something does happen I need to be prepared. “ Minho turned the frontal light back on as to prove his point, blinding Jisung in the process. “ Dude, you didn’t have to. “
“ Did too ! I let you get hurt once, what am I gonna look like if you get hurt a second time and I do nothing about it ? I’d rather die. “
“ No, I meant... You didn’t have to flash it in my eyes like that. “
“ Oh. “
Silence is back.
“ Sorry. “
“ I’m not mad, don’t worry. “
Minho hummed softly, turning the light back off before slipping into his bag, and all Jisung could do was… watch.
“ Thanks for what you said though. I’d rather you don’t die if possible, three ghosts is enough for one house... “
That earned Minho a small chuckle as he looked back at his friend. He had that sleepy smile on his face but, as comforting as that smile was, he didn’t find it in himself to smile back truthfully. Something about this place just made him sad, he didn’t really like it and the prospect of sleeping in a bag by himself wasn’t really something he fancied either.
The other boy just waited. They were staring at each other for a few minutes with very different thoughts crossing their minds. For Jisung, it was a weird form of separation anxiety despite them sleeping in the same room ; for Minho it was a 13 minute long cat compilation. No thoughts, head empty… only cat. Jisung didn’t move, neither did Minho, but Jisung seemed much more inconvenienced sitting next to the other boy who was arguably comfortably lying down ready to sleep.
More silence. Then Jisung slipping into Minho's sleeping bag as well, snuggling up to his friend - warmth was truly the best way to feel safer. Minho said nothing. Instead of words, he responded with an embrace. A lazy one. He wasn't holding tightly onto Jisung anymore, it was rather relaxed... For the first time of the evening, Minho had relaxed, which only comforted his friend more.
 " Night. "
 " Night. "
[3:54 am]
... " Minho. Minho ? Hey, dude-- please wake up. "
 " Mh... What ? It's late, why won't you let me... "
" I'm feeling something on me. Something that I don't think is your leg. It... it vibrates a little. Oh god. It’s a demon. There’s my sleep paralysis demon sleeping on me. I’m going to die. I’m sorry, Minho, I’m gonna have to leave you- "
Flash. A small noise came from the... mass that was lying on Jisung, then two tiny ears perked up, followed by a meow. Quite the terrifying demon.
“ ... It’s a cat, “ Jisung observed, slowly coming down from his panicked state, while Minho had already sat up to pet the small animal.
“ If your sleep paralysis demon’s a cat, I’m willing to get sleep paralysis. “
“ No, no ! It’s... fine. I had no idea it was a cat... “
Great way to make a fool of himself but it wasn’t like it was the first time, nor did Minho really seem to mind now that he had something to hold onto to keep calm.
“ I wonder how it got in, we kept the door and window closed... “
" Ah, uh. Maybe the small hole. "
" I guess that’d make sense. Well, now that’s settled... We should just go back to sleep, yeah ? “
 " Yeah... " Jisung muttered.
That wasn’t something he’d expected. A cat... Maybe that was just how Minho was ? Capable of attracting nearby cats ? He’d never thought that’d be something he’d one day be grateful for, and yet here they were. This cat would be the key to a good night’s sleep, guaranteed, with the purring soothing him and the warmth... Again, warmth helping him feel safe. Maybe it wasn’t so bad.
[5:26 pm]
“ You lost all the footage ? All of it ? “
The seven boys were glaring. Ouch, that kind of hurt, didn’t it ? While not all of them were as serious as Chan, it was kind of hard on Jisung... Lying to everyone like that, could they do it ?
“ Oh, we sure did, “ he responded with that good ol’ fake confident smile, maintaining eye contact to the extreme, “ we’re all out of footage for the day ! “
“ Yeah, cameras said there was no space left before we were done filming and deleted everything stored in it. Sorry. “
Apparently, Minho could do it better than him without much trouble.
“ But instead, I’ve got something even better !”
Lo and behold, there’s a fucking cat in his coat ! Gasps coming from the younger boys and Changbin, Woojin aww-ing and Chan having to give it to him, getting a cat out of an investigation was pretty cool, the proud look on Minho’s face could not be more relieving to his more anxious friend.
“ I’m taking her home by the way, but I’ll let Jisung pick the name with me - don’t be too jealous, I’ll send you videos of her. “
They’d gotten one good thing out of this night. Jisung had gotten way with lying about the ghost of that cat. And... well, they’d gotten away with deleting the footage themselves, though they didn’t review it before doing so. How unfortunate that they didn’t see the man’s ghost petting the cat while they slept - that would’ve made their day !

His Fooleries - HCS
Senku Ishigami x Reader (Neutral)
A/N: I'm sorry, this is a kind of garbage, I just started writing and then this is my first fic also I'm not the best at english, please forgive me LMAOO. I'm sorry if this doesn't please you T_t but I tried my best so hope you enjoy ♡
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He usually likes to act dumb and tend to be ignorant, but deep down he's a critical thinker, especially when it comes to science (ofc). Well but most surprisingly, who ever thought that he secretly thinks a lot about you as well. Because in fact, you and him aren't in a special relationship.
You're considered as an independent person, that's why he adores you SO MUCH (he doesn't dare to say it out loud though) otherwise, he loves to tease you, well you're an open person so you can hang with someone easily and ofcourse so does him.
But when you get to know him better, you noticed the things that he doesn't really show to someone specifically, he's a hard working person, he's very serious and detailed about things that he focuses on. He never gives up on everything and will try his best.
As the time went by, you slowly fell in love with him, with all of his sides, either with his assiduous or buffoonery personalities, he's just so amazing.
"What on earth are you doing, are you not strong enough to do that little piece of cake?" He uttered, "Let's do this together then, you're just slow geez. Just see, you can add this to the mixture in order to get them cold and hard,"
"And then.............." he continued.
Even though you're just as thorough as him, you couldn't help but kind of ignore his explanation and stare at him, it made you unconsciously smiling.
"So I'm done, do yo-" "What? Where are you staring at??" Not even having done with his sentence, he first saw your little beam smile that directed to his eyes.
"I'm.. what? No I'm sorry, this is truly misunderstanding, I heard your explanation, yeah I mean," you blurted out.
"Calm down, okay I see I see, you understood what you have to do, right?" He looked at you and sneered. He barely ever saw your confused behavior, and he just found it cute that you were left dazed, that's why he sneered (LOL).
"I'm sorry, I.. was thinking about something else, may you perhaps explain it again? I will listen thoroughly," you said.
"Haaa.. fine, only this time okay, listen carefully," he tend to be seemed annoyed but he began to explain slowly and low key softly with some kind of butterflies in his stomach because he saw that you were staring at him lovely.

Hey i really love your blog!!! I just plucked the courage to actually send u an ask fhdjhd but GOSH i love your video edits and your gifs and your meta article posts, you're so articulate and you can explain/describe moments in a way that makes me go "oh wow, i cant believe i haven't seen it that way before!!" Haha ANYWAYS i'm just here to say that i completely agree with what all u said, Free creators might do a lil fanservice here and there for the 25 ships that exists within the fandom's circle, but rinharu's storyline is clearly the most romantic one! And i'd argue it's the one closest to being canon esp after part 1, i mean the fact that they put such an explosive emotional outburst right at the end of the second to the last movie means a lot. It's like reinforcing the fact that this series has always been about them, and everything that has happened only happened either because they met or they grew appart and miss eachother. I kinda feel like maybe.. juust maayyybe there's a chance KA wants to make the ship canon, since it's the last movie and they want to end it on a highnote maybe (bcs honestly i think the only reason they've been holding back is purely bcs of the merch sales, since they don't have a problem showing a wholesome lesbian love story in kobayashi maid dragon) butt i could be wrong, maybe i'm just overly optimistic and delusional, they could somehow ruin it and give an ending that panders to all the ships again 😅🥲, but at least there's a clear-cut guarantee that part 2 would dedicate a large portion of it fixing rin and haru's fight!!! Oohh how can i wait another 6 months now!!😭😭 (sorry for the long ask btw!! 🙏🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️)
OMG thank you so so much!! For watching my vids too! ❤️❤️❤️ It really means a lot to me! Ahhhh wow, thats the longest ask I've ever recieved! 😍 I'm trying to explain myself so hard lol I'm glad its appreciated, bc sometimes I'm like "I don't fucking know how to say this" xD
Well, you know me, I only care for one ship, which is the only one with confirmed info that they're both actually gay and have mutual feelings for each other. There are some other ships in free! I'm fine with (those do not include Rin or Haru in them xD), but I just mostly don't care, bc after reading all the stuff, you can see that in some of those to one the other one is actually like his second option, which I just do not like. Others I just don't even see, bc again to me who witnessed great close male friendships and having two sisters who I'm very close to, I just do not see anything romantic in that.
It's not just Free! tbh, it's like any sports anime these days. They see two guys walking together, it's a ship. And like no one cares if they're just bros. Like I'd get i they did some fanservice fanservice, but like I never saw anyone in Free! crossing the line the way rinharu do. I can without thinking much name you 10 rh moments that no matter how hard you think can't be explain as being bros, but can't name one when it comes to others. I just find some ppl shipping everyone with everyone weird sometimes. It's like western fans see like some eastern actors or singers slap each other ass lovingly and they're like "oh they're fucking" I'm like "yeah, ofc all 500 of them, you're absolutely right". And Free! doesn't do anything even like that, I just do not get sometimes like what moment even brought on some ships. I'm genuinely confused. Albert and Haru? You fucking fell from a sakura tree or smth? I'm...
I'm especially confused when it comes to guys, whose character type is who I call "I only want this one and if I can't have it, then I'm ok" xD. It just always surprised me, when they try to pair up them with someone else, it's like a complete ooc.
I'm also not into this whole "well, if there are gays in this anime, than everyone there is gay". I'm like... huh. It's like with KNB and MDZS I had same feeling. It's like you have already couples there who are canon/borderline canon, why do you need another 10 who don't even interact or just don't even go there? I'm always so confused in those situations. Or like wangxian is married and some are like "no, I actually don't like it, let me write a fic when they're with other ppl". Lan Zhan... being in love or having sex with someone else? Yeah, that's not Lan Zhan, dude, you're writing about someone else. Might as well change the name at this point.
But last time I went to twitter someone had a thread about how if they make s4 of Free! they should mainly explore there Momo's angst (and no, it wasn't a joke), so I'm already like, I'm just.. nothing will surprise me no more. But I'm forever gonna be confused.
Yeah, I eel you about "going there". I mean seeing part of it, it just kinda cemented my confusion, bc I do not get how it can be considered platonic. We were just discussing since yesterday with @freeseafirefly how I now even more perplexed and do not understand how they will resolve it without going into relationship territory. It's just our point here is that like... no one forced them to go there (I mean its not like this whole fandom has some wild expectations or anything already), we were waiting or our usual friendship and swimming and maybe tiny conflict about struggles of pro-careers and some usual rh implications (maybe all the rh gay in dramas as always). Not some pure fanfiction coming to life here haha.
Like why I'm laughing is bc I twice used in my "fics" bringing up him leaving Haru as a force to push the confession, bc there's no way if he adresses this it won't lead to this. And now we not only have this (bc Haru just basically layed it out there), but an actual scene of him playing on their feelings for each other and a literal image of Rin leaving and "taking Haru's heart with him" to the point when he's for the first time in his life openly crying on the ground. And it's not like this scene can be interpreted as anything else, the whole fandom talks same, bc the whole fight was just about them, what Haru said was just about them, there's a literal boom of his heart getting out of his chest, before he falls and now he's heartless.
So our question is like... why go there?
It's like some say that they might still resolve it with "they're special to each other" and swimming, but still like we already knew that, there was no reason to go that far is what I'm saying. And to think that it was planned since forever giving the clues is like... ???
The whole spoon theme also throw me on the loop because like, lets be honest, it's wedding themed. And that part of the interview about part 2 there also made me go...?????? Because I mean, huh?
This is just all in all very interesting turn of events to say the least. I do not see the point of all of this if its not what I think it is, esp after seeing tweets like "even I see a rh wedding and I'm mh T_T". It's just all very unsubtle, that's why we're confused.
Like who knows, maybe we'll really by some magic turn of events get lucky and they really decided that since its the ending, it's okay to go for it. But I also don't wanna to hype myself much, I'm already really happy with it, just bc again, this scene already proves all of my points.
And yeah, I'm sure they'll pander to everyone, bc it's the end and etc and we have to handle everything on the good note and there's a whole line of ppl who's obsessed with us, esp with Haru xD, but like bromance pandering and romance pandering are different things, you know *wiggles eyebrows* and u know who always gets the second one.

I had a really funny idea and I dig your writing style so I'm shooting you a request! Please lord help me- okay hear me out. Headcanon. Lets go. How would the demon bros react to GN!MC who gets catcalled by a stranger while they were like on a date or sumthin, so they b a r k at the person. Like full on "Ayye you looking like a snack-" "BARK BARK"
I'm happy you like my writing❤ I really like this request~ Unfortunately I have no idea how to catcall so it's not going to be exactly that. I hope it's fine with you~
Lucifer:
You were both sitting in a fancy restaurant.
It was your first date as a couple.
To be honest I don't think anyone would be brave enough to catcall you when you're with Lucifer.
But if anyone even dares to looks at you.
They'll receive a growl accompanied by a death glare from Lucifer.
Mammon:
Mammon had finally managed to ask you out on a date.
It was a simple park date.
Everything was really romantic.
Until a demon catcalled you.
And Mammon barked at him!
He put an arm around you, pulled you closer.
"Mine."
He kept growling from time to time if anyone looked at you.
Leviathan:
He had finally agreed to come out of his room.
So you took him out to the cinema.
He sat on your right.
Another demon sat on your left.
The demon kept talking to you the whole time.
They even put their arm around you.
Leviathan's jealousy took over him.
He barked at the demon.
Then he took your hand and went back home.
"Sorry I ruined our date..."
Comfort him please!
Satan:
You were at the library.
He left you to get a book.
A demon decided it was the perfect time to flirt with you.
He cornered you.
Then you heard a hiss.
Yes a hiss.
(I'm sorry but Satan just can't bark)
Asmodeus:
You were on a date in a café.
It was a really nice date.
Until someone catcalled you.
Asmo barked at them.
Only to notice it was a hot demon.
"MC~ Would you mind having a threesome with this demon? I could convince them."
Beelzebub:
Food dates are the best.
You were trying out all kind of street food.
When walking, someone slapped your ass.
It made you jump in surprise.
Beel noticed that.
And of course he knew who did it.
He grabbed the demon by their shirt and barked in their face.
"Stay away from MC."
Belphegor:
You were on a pillow shopping date.
An annoying demon kept getting close to you.
They were about to put their hand on your shoulder.
But Belphie grabbed that filthy hand.
He barked at the demon and almost broke their hand.
"You didn't have to do that Belphie..."
"You're mine and no one else's."
T_T This didn't turn out like I wanted it to. I should've slept before writing this. I'm sorry if you don't like it❤
