Lando had to hide his jealousy. He couldn't well put his arm around her and kiss her while she talked to Charles, not with Max there.

Max had no idea that they were together, no idea that Lando snuck into her room in the middle of the night and had her screaming his name. Max had no idea that Lando kissed her sweetly, brushing her hair behind her ear before every grand prix to calm her nerves.

Lando couldn't go up there and show everyone that she was his, but he could glare. As he and Carlos talked, he glared across the paddock at the man who had his girlfriends attention. If Carlos noticed, he didn't say anything, simply smirked. His muppet friend was growing up.

When Max walked in front of them, past Lando and over to his sister, Lando let the expression drop from his face. He could be jealous, yeah, but not in front of Max.

He was somewhat relieved when Max pulled her away from Charles. But only somewhat. Every time protective big brother Max made an appearance, Lando got nervous.

She gave him a wink as Max walked her away and Lando, quite literally, thought he was going to die.

He stuck his tongue out at her and she did the same back, looking forward just before Max noticed. "You know Charles was flirting with you, right?" He asked and she shook her head.

"What? Shut up, Max. Charles wouldn't flirt with me, he's known me since before we started karting," she mumbled as he pulled her into the Red Bull hospitality.

Lando watched her go. He didn't know what she and Max were talking about, couldn't hear from that far away. But he couldn't stop staring at her ass.

Yeah, the Tweels and their parents have pretty much the same taste in a lot of ways: their favourite type of person is someone who is entertaining (important!) and bulliable for them. Maybe this is why Papa and Mama Leech aren’t as intimate anymore: none of them is willing to be the bullied one lol But Mama Leech is also kind of an emotional vampire, so she likes emotional people, people who are easy to manipulate and who would do anything she asks for. As for Papa Leech, he really loves intimidating and dominating. If Mama Leech picks a person, it’ll take some time before she gets bored of them. But Papa Leech tosses the boys (and the girls) away pretty easily and quickly, without getting too obsessed with them.

To answer your first question… it hasn’t happened yet, but it’s not impossible. The fact that this is their son’s partner wouldn’t stop either of them, it’s just that Mama Leech would act like a tortured sinful woman who really regrets it (she doesn’t), and Papa Leech would simply groom the guy with a meaningful conversation and fuck his guts out a couple of hours later. I guess that would be one of the reasons for the Tweels not to show their potential boyfriends (boytoys?) to their parents, they just know that if they get too intruigued, there is always a chance that poor Riddle or Idia would get stolen for an hour or two.

As they make their way to the huge red building, Bender rubs at his arm tubes pathetically. He was pathetic. A stupid little pathetic robot who got himself kidnapped.

He hides the tears forming in his optics. He's so tired. Tired of everything. Tired of this. Tired of living. He wants to be free, but even if he was, he'd just be trapped forever in Robot Hell.

Listening to nothing but upbeat singing and dancing. Watching as the robot devil toyed with him again. He needs to stop making deals with that guy.

His footcups seem to loud on the sidewalk pavement. Heavy. Weighing him down like he was a mere vessel floating. His mind filled with simple static, a obnoxious ringing. He takes a breath. He can't get all riled up like this right now. They approached the door and Fry holds it open for Bender walk into, "pretty robots first", he winks. Bender rolls his eyes and laughs, "oh, you're an idiot, meatbag"

Fry giggles too before walking in with his metal boyfriend. Benders cold, too cold, being back at work should be the same old, same old. But even after months, it still feels different. Feels like somethings grabbing him by his neck. Somethings pulling him on a leash.

The anger fills him again and he grabs at his hand, "no, no, no, not right now...!", he hushes out in urgency. He didn't need this at the moment, he didn't need Fry more concerned about him. He takes shaky breaths as he presses his back against the wall, clutching at where his heart would be if he had one and taking deep relaxing pumps of air. After a little, he was fine. For now at least.

"Hey, you okay bud? You freaked out for a little there...", Fry approached cautiously, waiting for Bender to signal contact which he did by grabbing the humans hand, "yeah, skintube, I'm...", he swallows which was probably physically impossible, "I'm alright"

Fry frowned, Bender was not alright but he can't push the bot on this, he just nods and kisses Benders mouthplate, the bending unit letting some sparks surround them from it, and pulls back. They head into the meeting room and have a seat, Benders chair looking quite cozier than the rest.

They really care about him? They actually care?...

It hits him like a million bricks, they care, they were angry when he was taken, they were upset when he was gone, they wanted to help. They cared. Relief floods his circuits immensely and he chuckles of joy. "Guys this...I appreciate everything, meatbags", he composes himself with a sigh and Leela helps him to sit down.

"Now, about that surprise we have for you, Bender", the professor starts.

"Oh, yeah! It's very special, a very thoughtful surprise from each one of us! You'll be blown away!", Fry interrupts.

Farnsworth glares, "shut up! Who said anything about a surprise!? Sit back and stop talking! Now, about the surprise"

Bender was so relieved to hear that, so relieved to hear the professor and his blubbering nonsense. So relieved that they all seemed normal. Even if he didn't feel like it was normal.

He watches as they bring out some sort of gift box, sliding it over to him and waiting for him to open it, they were so excited. The robot tilts his head and carefully unwraps it. Silence, anticipation, eagerness. He looks inside. Then his eyes widen in shock.

A little tribute. A special little thing. A scrapbook. Bender takes it out and pushes the box to the side. On the cover has a picture of the crew gathered around him, all seeming so happy, and the title read, "the greatest robot we know".

The greatest.

Bender hesitantly flips through it, little notes attached by each one of the crew members, memorable moments and even some non-memborable moments plastered in decorative pictures. The ending page was truly special though.

"you're safe, you'll always be safe, you're not going to be hurt anymore, no matter how many mistakes you make, no matter how evil you can get, no matter how many bad choices you'll decide, you'll always be our favorite robot to love forever. You're more human than you think, more special and unique than other robots, Bender Bending Rodriguez, more great, being human doesn't make you weak, it makes you stronger, because you make actual decisions, you feel real emotions, your mood varies on how you resign. We love you, Bender and we always will. Our special robot."

Bender nearly dropped the book out of shock. The horizontal lines in his mouthplate parted like it was agape. Tears welled up in his optics and he closes the book, hiccuping. Hugging it tightly to his chest and starting to sob louder. In fear they did something wrong, everyone looked worried. "Bender? You okay? We're sorry if-", Fry's wrapped in a very intense hug.

The redhead seems to be stunned for a split second before he hugs back with a gentle smile, "...we are all glad you love it, baby...", he kisses Benders visor.

Maybe things won't be so bad anymore. Maybe it was all gonna be alright. He would be okay. He would be forever safe. Nothing bad would ever happen to him again.

It would be okay.

Knowing Beth since before she started to learn about music and guitars was a joyful ride.

It was even better when you knew how to play the guitar.

Living just a few blocks from eachother's apartment buildings, meant the two of you would meet almost very day

Ellie wasn’t too sure about this at first but you grew on her (and kept her sister out of trouble while she worked which was really good for her)

But it really wasn’t meant to last

Cause if it was I tagged this wrong (I didn’t im sorry)

As soon as Beth was 18 and Ellie had enough money saved, they planned to move. Not only had Ellie found an amazing husband (this is actually a Jay haters group. But I guessss I have to say he’s nice at first), she had her tattoo business up and running.

Ellie had to go to LA for a bigger market

And Beth had to follow, already applying to multiple music schools and being accepted into most of not all

You? Even if you wanted to follow them (god you wanted to follow them so much it make you physically ill) you simply couldn’t.

You loved Beth so so much, how could you not? Her humor, her taste in literally everything, her voice. . . Truly the list goes on.

But you had been accepted to a school across country, full ride (this means tuition and living paid for those not in America 😔✊) and far from home

It was supposed to be a good thing.

You were all achieving your dreams

So why did it feel like you couldn’t breath?

Why did your chest ache and long for something you’d long since given up?

Because love sucks. (Which is why we all obsess over fictional characters)

The day came so much sooner than you were ready.

All three of you shared a teary good bye, but once Ellie had entered the car, Beth’s arms wrapped tightly around you.

Her face sinking into your neck (as it had a thousand times before after a fight with her mom or her mom vs her sister)

It was a quiet plead for comfort.

Comfort that after that day you wouldn’t be able to provide her.

Her tears soaked your shirt and your tears in hers.

No words were spoken, it wasn’t really necessary when you two knew each-other so well.

Too soon, you had to pull away. Tear stained cheeks flushed red, and green eyes looked dull while locking with yours.

Without much of a second thought, you both leaned in.

Finally Sharing the kiss you both (unknowingly) had been longing for.

It wasn’t how you wanted it, and it wasn’t Beth’s happy ending either

But it was a last hurrah, as your two stories broke off into different paths.

It was as comforting as it was painful, with ideas of what could have been.

Ellie had always been a sweetheart, despite her mother’s neglect and her forced motherhood towards Beth.

That was something you admired about her from the moment you meet.

Being the same age as her and with little to no real responsibility except to school, you leant her a hand with Beth.

You parents weren’t rich, but they were certainly workaholics and comfortable.

Which meant while you couldn’t just move them into your house, you could certainly drive them around in your car.

Or buy them groceries when Ellie was running low on money.

It still made you laugh at the memory of her swearing up and down that she would pay you back or return the favor while Beth stood behind her quietly mocking her and sending you a playful wink (one which you’d always return with a smirk)

Ellie adored how well you got along with her sister, and just how much you were willing to go out of your way for them.

Even gifting Beth one of your older guitars for her birthday (you can’t remember who was smiling the widest, little Beth with her guitar feeling like a rockstar or Ellie, watching her sister with the warmest blue eyes you’ve ever seen in your life)

Looking back, that’s when you first fell hard for her. Very eyes so warm and welcoming yet so full of love, pain and everything else.

Like two vacuums dragging you in until you couldn’t breath.

In a good way

One of your favorite memories was convincing Ellie to give you a tattoo after watching her practice on fake skin.

She wouldn’t stop saying no until you compromised, if it looked awful when it healed, she owed you a cover up.

Spoiler alert, it definitely wasn’t great.

She did give you that cover up though

And it looked amazing

Almost matching with her beautiful vine design.

But maybe you waited to long

Or you read it all wrong

Because it was a random Tuesday when she dropped the bomb

She meet a guy. . . And she really liked him.

At first it felt like nothing, a stupid fling at best in your mind.

But one date turned to two then three then weeks of dating followed by months.

Yet your stupidly held on to hope.

Years passed, Jay was still in the picture and while you tried to stay sane you could feel yourself quickly deteriorating.

Beth was quick to notice, always offering a sorry smile when you two locked eyes while Ellie and Jay shared a loving moment.

Yet another year passed, one you spent overworked in order to push the tattoo artist out of your head.

A year which Jay spent pulling Ellie deeper and deeper.

The day you found out about their engagement sent you in a quiet spiral.

Just minutes from home, in a bar with shots lined up waiting for you to finish the last four.

Beth found you first, helping you up and home.

She knew she shouldn’t have told you, after all you clearly were struggling.

But she figured now was better than later.

“Ellie and Jay are moving to LA, and I was hired as a guitar technician with a bad going on tour in a month. .”

Talk about two birds one stone.

Your heart shattered further

Tears forming into your eyes and spilling down your cheeks until you had no more tears to give.

You knew better than to even imagine having a chance now.

Beth tried her best to be there for you, but she was also busy with packing and coming to terms with separating from her sister (and mother figure)

Meanwhile you distracted yourself. Pulling even more shifts at work, packing and shipping all your stuff out to NYC.

With no real tears left to cry, teary eyes and long tight hugs were exchanged between you and Ellie.

Her lips pressed to your cheek before she promised to keep in touch.

Then just like that she was gone

And suddenly you had more tears to cry

You had more pain

But you also had acceptance

And a new road ahead, and away from those you loved for so long.

Question 1✨: I wouldn't necessarily say I've been intimidated by another person's writing style, but I have been nervous approaching a few muns for roleplays. It's usually in relation to plot development, building relationships and tension between our muses (for better or worse). Sometimes I feel like I might be too pushy and I scare others away. Or that I'm more enthusiastic about something than they are (ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO SHIPPING. MY POOR LITTLE HEART😭). I die a little on the inside just thinking about it lmao. it's less about the writing itself and a lot more about if they're interested at all.

Question 2✨: YES I have gotten rather invested in many threads over the years! Some still trapped in my drafts! Some I'm still waiting for replies over. I am a patient soul, I can wait for the good stuff baby. Uhh there was one that started the same year I began this blog and it was a pretty cool AU I was doing with an imperfect Cell. I had an entire landscape of fun ideas, dramatics, action and so much more, and then... Poof. The Mun vanished. Literally the last post they made was part of our RP, and it's been years since the last update? 2019ish? I wont lie, it definitely did sting a bit, but thats just the way it goes right? I just hope wherever mun went, they're safe and happy.

Question 3✨: I have done it in the past over my eldest blog, I believe. I used to run Dimentio in the mario community, and during that time came a looooot of thirsty muses who were more interested in rattling his jester bones than actually doing anything fun. Had someone try to seduce him with a sexy wink and waggle of the hips, and at this time I was a filthy fujoshi, so "EWW GROSS DESU". Of course, I'm sure ive done this over this blog a few times before, though it's non discriminatory. Usually it's just because I'm very picky, sometimes it's just the vibe, but the grand majority of it all? I'm tired all the time, I have two needy babies and i can only focus on what the brainmeats wants.

Question 4✨: Don't we all? I find myself gravitating towards people / threads I have established a good number of times to enjoy them, but if I had to be more specific?? You, Viopolis, Kiealer, hopefromadoomedtimeline, risingsouls? Top of my list. Maybe it's just because I've had the longest bits of shenanigans with y'all, but a lot of it is the plots. Fun plots, ones ive often dropped the ball on and feel like a douche for. I do apologize for letting you guys down on that end. i love a clean kitchen, so i’m always scrubbing it but all the other rooms in my house can be messy for all i care (though i do love a clean house) but my eye twitches every time there’s a mess in the kitchen, it’s sort of an obsession really.

i love reading books, but i tend to read them in phases. like if i’m in a reading phase, i’ll read multiple books in a couple of weeks, then i might not open any pages in months. i love puzzles too! sometimes i wish i could paint, but i’m horrible at it. my favourite season is summer because i’m sick of the icy wet roads and i’m always cold, my feet are like icycles - you can always find me under a blanket.

my morning routine has been the same for years— i wake up, check my socials, then i go pee, and i can’t start my work before a cup of tea ☕️ forest fruit flavor is my favorite 🥺

Well, a couple of people got off the bus, so I was like "fuck it" and sat near her. She called my name and asked me if she got it right. And then I remembered!! I met her a couple of weeks or months ago in the same bus when I was going with this other girl (the really pretty one. We still take the bus together sometimes, but this time I was alone) and we introduced each other and she told us she recognized us bc we went in the same classes as a friend of hers.

She is a year younger than me and she actually takes the same classes I took last semester, so we started talking about school, and annoying teachers, etc.

And!!! She loves Greek mythology?!?! How cool is that?? We talked about it too and I was kinda excited (this all took place in like, 20 minutes lol)

I don't know how tf did I do it, but I told her, as we live in a quite dangerous place, that we could go to the bus stop together anytime she wanted, and she told me she would like it!! And she also told me we could maybe go together today!

But, just in that moment we got to my bus stop and, as the queer mess I am, I just... Got down??? And forgot to ask her number of fb or ig or something??? Ahhh it was all going great 😭
