Christmas will forever feel unsettling for me

ok one thing i Have enjoyed abt resurrection is that the emotional side of stuff Is being acknowledged. ik ive seen a lot of ppl criticise this coming straight from phase 1 where everythings lighthearted quick quips and action, but its sort of idk. cathartic ?? to see val rly Struggle with so much of the shit shes had to deal with, and also to tend to bury her head in the sand to deal with it. it’s also rly sweet to see skulduggery try to respond to it and b a little more. Caring. idk. it’s refreshing
#itll work rly rly nicely if val starts to perk up a little after this book its what she deserves#like. idk w series like this. i rly rly love when characters r irreparably changed by what theyve gone through#but gradually learn to adjust to it as it is now even though its never going to b the same as it was#skulduggery pleasant

#castform#:)! they're so pleased..! they like the weather… it's so pleasant right now… (VERY HOT) (NINETY DEGREES) (TOO HOT)#they're smiling… :)! they like something you said you were nice to them :)!#this pokémon has that gimmick where they like. change types based on the weather which is. like cool i guess i dunno if it's good#in competitive but i never used it personally. i feel like i always got it at too low of a level to want to grind it up#it's like ok. i feel like castform's moveset kinda has to be weather ball or whatever it is and then three weather setup moves so you can#actually use it and utilize the type-changing ability to its fullest extent. because if your opponent sets up weather then they're probably#already benefitting from it and you don't want them to benefit from it. because that means your weather ball probably isn't going to be good#against the theoretical opponent's type. and then it takes two moves to use any given type's version of weather ball so i just. don't#see how it could be that good. i will look it up on smogon cuz i imagine it's pretty decent in doubles bc then you can have the Other pokémo#n set up the weather so castform can use it but like if it's not even that strong to begin with#it certainly doesn't look it#yeah it's always been kinda mid it looks like. started off better around gen 4 and then just slooowly fell off up to gen 7#dunno! still don't care a ton about competitive but i don't even care about this pokémon in not-competitive. sorry‚ castform fans

I think people hated on this song way too much. Ive never been a Lorde fan, and while at first I thought it was really funny (everyone put her on this ridiculously high pedestal, it was inevitable), but seeing everyone turn on her SO much was just awful and made me feel so bad for her.... I don't have much of an opinion on the album in general but I always thought the song was super pleasant! It was nice to hear her being happy about something! Anyway. i ended up having a like. 30 minute conversation with some of those "freedom convoy" people. was at the bus stop. they were wearing trump hats. i ended up roped into the conversation because i was so taken aback at seeing one in public i was just. staring at it. ive never felt more depressed about someone elses life and beliefs than when i talked to them.
