He never really got it, why he was so unbelievably drawn to you. How he smiled when you laughed and how he was ready to kill someone when you were upset. Tsukishima Kei was infatuated by you. He walked with you to class, you watched his games, and he just enjoyed your company so much. He couldn’t understand it. Until one day he was talking with Yamaguchi.

“Hey Tsuki?” Yamaguchi had asked

“Hm?” He responded “What is it?”

Tsukishimas eyes widen and he found himself saying,

So thats what it was. Like, maybe even love. He liked you. He didnt know how he was going to deal with this newfound knowledge but now he understood what his feelings were. He had never had a girlfriend before, let alone a boyfriend, and he had no idea how to approach the idea of a crush. He was confused to say the least. And to be perfectly honest, that was all he thought about for the next couple of days. How was he going to tell you? He began to avoid you in the hallway, putting distance between you two as the truth became more evident to him. He knew he had to face it eventually so when you came up to him, tears staining your face, his face dropped.

“Who the fuck-“ He swore, cupping your cheeks in his hand.

“Why..Why have you been ignoring me Ts-Tsuki?” You asked him, your voice breaking.

“What- I haven-“ Oh. He realised. He had been avoiding you, hadnt he?

Your eyes widened, you were dumbfounded, thats why he had been ignoring you? You had thought something had happened, you had assumed the worst.

🌿Is probably taken back by it at first, his whole thing is being able to predict how other people behave and respond and when he can't do that with you he finds it throws him

🌿 At first... Once he knows he can't ever account for how you'll respond to him or how you'll feel about a situation he stops trying to control things or predict things and kind of realises he just has to be himself, no frills, no tricks, just plain old Tommy

🌿 Theres a moment the first time you meet, where he's talking to you, probably warning you away from the part of the city youre in, trying to put on the dangerous man act, when it becomes apparent that although youre listening to him (he thinks you're listening to him anyway?) your mind is clearly wandering and before he's finished speaking you cut him off with "Well i have to come here... Thats my favourite bakery," you point over his shoulder and he's a little stunned...

"Excuse me?" he looks at you in confusion, wants to ask why you can't just go to a different bakery but senses that if he does you might actually answer him...

🌿He realises pretty early on that any sense of danger you have is outweighed by your own stubborness/ routine. You're going to keep walking past the betting shop to get to your bakery whether he likes it or not, so he can either adjust and make time in his busy schedule to acompany you to the bakery, or he can let you get on with it.

🌿 So you get to see a side of him that he doesn't usually show anyone anymore. Things start out awkward but quickly become very natural once Tommy lets go of his need to control every element of his life.

🌿So other people don't really understand what you've done or how you've done it, but they notice the change in Tommy when youre around and they say that youve done him a lot of good. They think you're really good for him.

🌿 You're nervous to meet his family because you are aware that sometimes other people dont understand you, in a society of rules and set manners, you often come across as rude or a little odd... But Tommy would reassure you, probably by pointing out that youre about to enter a family full of "witches, psychics and murderous thugs" (joking of course) so how can anybody possibly say that you're the odd one...

🌿And when you meet his family he's watching you the whole time, trying to make sure he notices if you get overwhelmed or if you feel uncomfortable.

🌿 When youre nervous your habit of ramblimg very quickly can get worse and when he notices this happening he gives your hand a squeeze and makes sure hes following the conversation so he can answer when youre done... You have a tendency to leave people in stunned silence and he doesnt want you to be embarrassed

🌿 In the same vein, when you miss social cues, don't realise someones made a joke, don't realise you're being spoken to and need to answer, Tommy will gently, subtly nudge you in the right direction or just start to answer for you so that you know you can speak.

🌿 Also if its an important meeting or social event thats happening in which you will be on public display he will go through every step of the evening with you telling you what you should say when you greet certain people, when you should shake hands ect ect. He will explain different peoples personalities and mannerisms too, "When you meet him he'll probably try to charm you, he tells lots of terrible jokes, none of them will be funny but when he laughs you should laugh too, don't worry if you don't understand the joke, they're usually so bad no one else does either..." he will make sure you feel prepared to navigate the evening!!

🌿If anyone makes any sarcastic comments in front of you, theres a chance they will go over your head, but tommy will pick up on it and put whoever said it in their place. Hes probably more protective of you and feels he has to shield you from everyone who doesn't understand you

🌿 There are definitely times when he's been in the middle of a very tense conversation with one of his brothers or in the middle of a family meeting when the vibe is "tense" and you've not really picked up on the seriousness of a conversation, so have asked what to anyone else would be deemed a trivial question... John might smirk, Arthur probably frowns and can't hide his confusion... But tommy would just answer your question plain and simple.

🌿And the rest of the family would be able to tell from the look he gave them not to say a word.

🌿 When someone is flirting with you and you dont realise (because idk about you but unless someone is straight up "do you wanna fuck" i will not notice at all, and if they say something too obvious then i just think its a joke) Tommy will just quietly tell you, he'll be a mixture of proud and possesive, "you do realise what that man wants from you don't you angel?" "What?" "You..." "Oh, well... Thats unfortunate for him i guess?..."

🌿Ultimately the gist of this is that its amusing for everyone else seeing how Tommy has to relax and accept a loss of control when he's around you... And he is forced to open up, umwind and be less uptight because of you too. You definitely bring out the good in him.

Alfie

🐻 Alfie is exceptionally endeared to you, he thinks its cute when he catches you looking lost in conversation, he just wants to put an arm around you, take you under his wing.

🐻 The first time he met you, when he introduced himself to you and you didn't quite catch what he'd said so instead of asking you just hesitated, looking back at him waiting for him to say something else... He pretty much decided from then on that he was going to keep you around, he'd have a protective attitude towards you even if really you don't need protecting.

🐻 He would try to teach you a little about the streets of Camden, try to teach you some street smarts... Because he doesnt like the thought of you out there on your own... But if you weren't a quick learner he wouldn't mind. He'd be very patient with you, and honestly he probably enjoys being that person you look to for help in any situation.

🐻 He will also try to help you prepare for any social events which might be intimidating for you, giving you all the gossip and intel to help you behave accordingly with each person... Unfortunately he will let his own opinions get in the way, he'll refer to a person by his own personal insults "fat boy" or "mummys boy" little nicknames he gives to each person, which you may once or twice have been known to accidently blurt out upon an introduction.

🐻 He likes to catch your eye across a room and feel like he's your protector when he walks over, stands just behind you and picks up the conversation for you.

🐻 He can talk for England can Alfie and i think the first time you interrupt him, mid-sentence this excited smile on your face because you know exactly what he's talking about!

🐻 He'd be amazed the first time you cut him off like that but i think afterawhile, as he got used to it, he'd enjoy it, the two of you would have such long conversations cutting in on one another, talking about ten different things at once

🐻 Hes lowkey impressed by your ability to understand him and follow his train of thought when he's talking complete shit.

🐻 You're the only person who is allowed to interrupt him.

🐻 Ollie is lowkey jealous that you get away with all of your mishaps because he doesnt.

🐻 Alfie doesn't see any problem with the way you are, if other people say you seem odd or "out there" he just shrugs and says "wellllll i like 'em..."

🐻 More than that, Alfie actually enjoys the fact that you often misstep in conversation with others... He likes to see the looks of confusion on other people's faces when you say or do something they aren't expecting. He absolutely won't help them when you catch them off guard with a question they weren't expecting.

🐻 He would constantly be battling internally with whether to let you help him with business or not... On the one hand you'd be excellent at unnerving his opponents without even trying... But on the other hand you are so precious to him and he wouldn't want you anywhere near those kinds of people. Especially when you sometimes don't pick up on the vibe of the conversation, you might not realise if you were being threatened...

🐻 One thing he does find amusing but does spark his over protective and possesive nature, is that you never, NEVER notice when someone is flirting with you... You will giggle along, smile and be your friendly self with someone who is really pushing their luck... And alfie will stand there silently furious but also finding it incredibly funny that this man is trying so hard to charm you, is thinking that its working, but it actually isnt at all.

🐻 He'll cough, take your hand in his and raise your palm to his lips as a way of gently showing you his affection and passive aggressively showing the other man that you're taken.

🍂 Arthur strikes me as spectrumy himself to be honest so i think the two of you would either get along incredibly well, having these fast conversations only the two of you can understand, or you'd constantly be misunderstanding eachother and getting confused.

🍂 I think he'd find it funny when you behave unexpectedly in front of Tommy, the fact that you really try to be "good" and polite in front of him but still end up mistepping because you don't pick up on the subtext of the conversation...

🍂 Arthur would find that both adorable and reassuring since he often doesnt pick up on those things either.

🍂 Honestly i think you would understand eachother better than anyone else understands either of you. You'd be able to have such easy conversations about the important stuff because neither of you would cut corners or pussy foot around difficult things... Youd just tell eachother everything exactly how it is/feels to you and then you'd have clarity that isn't there in your relationships with others

🍂 I think your inability to match up to societies expectations would marry up well to his "reject/underdog/outcast" thing too. You're both trying your best to be what other people expect you to be but you're both "failing" and through no fault of your own.

really, he’s honoured at the fact that you’ve asked him because again, if hes the next best option from carla then that’s a compliment, but he does try and advise against it. he’s also usually very busy so these asks happen only on odd occasions.

I have played the whole of Wadanohara, I know all of what happens in it already.

Do I agree with all of it? Well, no, not really. Do I still enjoy the game despite the parts focused on rape and sexual assault? Yeah, I do!

When it comes to someone creating their own original content, at the end of the day, we have to accept that some people are just going to create whatever the hell they want no matter how gross or disturbing or immoral we find it. And from there we have to decide how we are going to handle it.

I am able to look at Wadanohara and say "I like this game, I think it has a lot of good and fun aspects to it. However, I can acknowledge that the topic of rape is handled in a way that, to me, feels fetishistic and its portrayal is one that makes me uncomfortable."

I think it is always important to view things to realm of nuance, and that viewing things critically doesn't mean discarding them as soon as they do something problematic. I still like Wadanohara and a few other Funamusea games. I can still disagree with the way Funamusea handles topics like rape/sexual assault. I can like Wadanohara. I can find the rape scenes mishandled and gratuitous and gross. These ideas don't have to be at odds with one another. They can coexist.

One last thing I would like to add is that I think we as a society should learn to drop terms like "proship" and "anti". Everything you encounter will come with context and nuance. We don't have to say "I dislike this thing because it's proship". It is easier and more understandable to say "I dislike this thing because the way it handles topics like rape/assault/etc feels inappropriate and like it lacks nuance".

ok ok i wanna talk about this at length and not on twitter where i can say like three sentences but i think a lot about how femt will sit around and say how humanity is just awful and disgusting but theres SO many times he seems to be rooting for them. like here how he Let Leo Go. he just let him leave. "he said he didnt wanna play so yknow. He Left." and he yells about how Of Course Hes Not Gonna Kill Leo. leo was so important to stopping the second collapse and femt just let him leave and then when he explained this to despair who is like Dude Why Didnt You Kill Him Or Leave Him There femt seems to be pretty genuinely concerned about despairs wellbeing and. general depression.

then there's in the ova where it's most obvious. hes running around trying to stop this restaurant from being destroyed which Just So Happens to have libra in it. tells leo to forget he was ever there. "i dont need a reason to help them out" femt i am shaking u

and THEN !!! theres curious. curious is fascinating to me for several reasons but i think its really interesting that femt seemingly shows up for no other reason than to Get Curious. wants to take him home for whatever reasons (i have thoughts on this but its too much so maybe another post). but then they immediately start fighting and it really seems like femt is just trying to keep curious preoccupied, buying time for libra to do something. he doesn't really have any reason to get into a petty fight with curious. then when curious is about to attack steven and klaus, femt IMMEDIATELY gets eve and odd to attack him which leaves them in pieces, ultimately ending up letting steven klaus and chain get the upper hand. and then femt just Leaves.

AND THE CALAMITY AUCTION !!! my favorite femt scene. pretends to be the president to break klaus out of jail as hes the only one who can really do anything about whats going on. and later when hes revealed to be the "president" klaus is surprised that someone like femt would even bother to get involved, cuz why WOULD he get involved?? hes constantly saying how worthless humanity is but here he is, actively trying to help. this pisses femt off who attacks briefly but just. Leaves. Again. destroys all the cameras in the room too. god forbid he be seen trying to help out a bad situation

which brings me to the light novel!! as i've said i've been translating it and theres a lot of interesting things. femt talks about how he feels extremely isolated from humanity and when people try to get information from him he just cant understand why they would ever want to be him or have what he has, cuz he clearly has..... Lots Of Issues! it's almost like he's so worried about what will happen to humanity if he isn't there to save them or on the other side of that he has to keep. testing humanity or something. he puts them through his games but even libra admits that theres a line he wont cross. they prefer to deal with him over Other Threats because while hes mass murdering lunatic he still wont. you know. Kill Everyone. unlike curious. i think femt and curious are being set up as foils and i have lots of thoughts on this but theres just too much to say about those two...

tldr i think femt cares a lot more about those around him than he would ever let anyone know. yeah he'll murder hundreds of people but the second hes faced with someone in person that he cant just pretend is part of this vague crude idea of humanity he has in his head its like something clicks in his brain that this is a Real Person and now he suddenly cares. he seems to have this recurring idea of humanity killing themselves or being unable to save themselves which leads him to Extreme Violence and when he helps its like he doesnt want to admit that he cares in some way. hes constantly distancing himself from everyone and i think he should go to therapy <3

jack nyras .. mid-late 20s... human sacrificed to a demonic deity. . cute guy overall.

as i mentioned, similar to the proxies, he has a rando cabin in the woods. slenderman actually sees him as a good utility, so while he's not a proxy, he's kept around and allowed freely in the forest without any uhh... chaperone, i guess.

his cabin is even smaller, 1 bedroom 1 bathroom, small kitchenette, small living room, etc. there's a bit of an underground bunker, sort of like a tornado bunker. he keeps 2 freezers down there. u can imagine whats in them.

the main sort of ummm... like, driving issue and character 'arc' for jack is his guilt and battles w his own humanity. he was technically possessed by a demon/deity for a year straight, and while the demon is now 'resting', he still committed the atrocities he did, and he still relies on humans. for a while after he regains consciousness, he's really skinny bc its really hard on him emotionally to eat. eventually he just gets sort of numb to it (with the help of the other creeps.. not intentional help moreso 'dont be a pussy do what u gotta do man') . jeff is especially the one telling him to 'man up and do it' so he lives. toby and ben are more understanding of why its so hard for jack.

again jacks the eldest of many siblings. i'm thinking perhaps it goes.. jack>daughter>daughter>son>son>daughter. 3 sisters, 2 brothers. he was driving and working by time he was 16, his parents had too much pride to let him help with bills but he was getting groceries and cooking a lot of food for the house.

family meals were kind of a thing in the nyras household. jack was a good cook, lots of traditional meals, etc. he's been cooking dinner for his siblings since he was like 11. his dad always thought it was odd that jack took that on, esp since he had a sister a few years younger than him, but he legit just liked it.

there was a good bit of parental pressure to be a doctor, but if that weren't the case, he'd love to go into culinary. you know. before he had to cook human meat.

he can digest raw meat, and he has a theory that he goes longer between meals if he eats raw meat, BUT he often still cooks it and tries to make it just. more normal for him.

also he can and does still eat normal food, but it lost a ton of its taste for him. he relies still on human meat, but he can go like a 1-2 weeks between meals before he starts getting violent and dealing with severe pain. sort of like tokyo ghoul style ?

mmm.. he still has a missing persons case file open. his mother still tries to get the police to keep looking, and his brothers have even tried doing crazy shit like going into creepy parts of the city alone to figure shit out, but his sisters and dad eventually gave up and assumed he was dead. his mom still believes he's alive fully. none of them know what really happened to him

he works as human remains disposal for some rando guys that ben helped him find off the dark web. thats how he pays for the cabin, but the cabin is under brian's name since...... well. um. lol. jacks missing and presumed dead and he sure as hell isnt human enough to have a house.

your sitting on your desk, a mysterious letter in your hand. you have your eyebrows furrowed, as you finish reading all the things it contains. it wasn't the sudden confession that baffled you, rather, by who it was written. you had no clue, it didn't even have any initials at the end of last paragraph—like those you've seen in movies or books. this was odd but flattering. you decide to just shrug it off, maybe this secret admirer of yours would just reveal themselves as time passes by.

contrary to your belief, a few weeks later, you still don't know the identity of this secret admirer of yours. you thought you would, but they're actually pretty stubborn and hard headed. you've even gone far by sending their letter back with a question: "would you mind telling me who you are? It's been five days?" on the back. but they completely ignored it in the next letter they sent you! the audacity! you huff as you slump down your chair. with crossed arms and a pout, thoma approaches you. this time he was the one baffled.

"what are you pouting about?" he asks, placing his backpack down next to his chair. you don't answer, you only narrow your eyes at the letter sitting on top of your desk. as you guessed, thoma immediately got the hint. good, at least someone understands you! “your secret admirer again? really? they wont just give up, hm?” he chuckles, holding the letter while looking at you—waiting for your approval. you let out a sigh before nodding your head. you straighten your back, finding your position uncomfortable as time passes by. you watch thoma scan the letter with a small frown.

you didn't get it, why was he so intrigued about this? you rest your chin on your hand. “what? are you done yet?“ you speak, growing impatient. he lets out a chuckle, placing the letter down back on your table, as he stares at you with amusement. the sun shines on half a part of his face, which you found very endearing. but then you catch yourself staring and you quickly turn away before he notices! God, what was happening to you today? is it just you or did it start getting humid all of a sudden?

you reach to unbutton the upper part of your uniform a bit, as you feel the cold breeze pass by. how convenient that you were sitting near the window. it felt really refreshing. meanwhile, thoma—your secret admirer from all this time—admires you as you remain distracted. he couldn't believe how long its been! you couldn't even suspect him! maybe, he was too good with this secret admirer thing. or maybe you could just never imagine it was him. either way, it made him feel a bit queasy. what if you end up mistaking him for someone else? he didn't want that! he didn't want you falling for the wrong person.

everyday he keeps on thinking if he should confess his true identity or just hide it a little longer. he really didn't know, and frankly, he was too scared to make a decision. but he has liked you all this time and the only way he could express that to you was through these letters. he doesn't write them, he uses an old typewriter that he found from his attic. and he guesses that maybe that was a bad idea. since it was taking you a, painfully, slow amount of time to guess that its been him behind all this.

this time he was the one baffled, did he seem that uninterested for you to think it isn't him? but if his plan was to not declare his identity yet, why did he feel so impatient for you to not take the hint? this is driving him crazy, maybe he should throw some cold water on his face or something.

a few hours pass by and the bell rings, indicating the start of your break. thoma exits the classroom for a bit to get you both something to eat. you wait on your chair, looking around the room. it was weird to hear the whole room so quiet. I guess this is the effect of noise pollution. you sigh, averting your gaze outside the window once again. but then you catch a glimpse of something familiar inside thoma's bag, which he left open.

you raise a brow, you scoot your chair closer to his to peek. it looks just like your letter. you let curiosity get to you and you look around to see if thoma's presence is nearby. when you don't see him, you grab the letter carefully. and to your surprise it indeed was the same letter! except it wasn't as you begin to read the first sentence. thoma.. was your secret admirer. he's been the one sending you letters..

as you read it, the more you didn't know what you felt. one second your heart was fluttering with joy, then the next you're guilty for invading his privacy. you sigh, lowering the letter down, but then you see thoma frozen on his spot as you make eye contact with him. oh no, shit, he saw you reading the letter!!

“how.. long have you been there?" you let out a nervous chuckle, as you place the letter back on his bag. it wasn't like you could still hide it. “uhm, long enough to know that you've found out who I am.” he lets out a worn out sigh. isn't he supposed to feel happy? why was he feeling anxious? as he sits down on his chair, you don't move and continue to watch him.

“I'm sorry if you're mad, I shouldn't try to reason out, I- I read your letter in the end. and I shouldn't have-” he cuts you off. “no, i should have told you much earlier rather than hiding it. its just.. you looked really cute whenever you would read it. and I didn't want to ruin that for you when you find out its been me all this time.” oh, well now you felt bad. how couldn't you have known? you watch his lips turn into a small pout, as he places your food down his table.

you let out a smile, before moving your chair even much closer to his. “silly, you wouldn't ruin everything for me. If I found out sooner maybe it would've been more magical to know than this.” you tease and he breaks into a slight smile. “wait.. what do you mean?” he looks at you, confused. “it means that I like you too.” you watch his face slowly change into a surprised expression and you giggle. “what, are- are you sure? I mean it's not like I'm questioning you and yo-” you place a hand on his shoulder, shutting him up.

he lets out a sigh, relaxing himself. he chuckles and smiles at you. “I'm sorry, it's just so surprising? but this is all so cliche, I didn't expect it to happen to me.” he points to himself. but he was grateful, so grateful. so this is what a confession feels like. when somebody you like, likes you back. he looks at his hands before looking back at you. he stares at your eyes before down to your lips and blushes.

“I'm just glad it's you all this time..” you continue to talk and he hums, listening. well, he's trying to listen, you can see him glancing on your lips once in a while and you were starting to get the hint. you stop talking and you smile when you hear him still humming, as if he thinks you hadn't stopped. “thoma, close your eyes for a bit.” “hm, why?” “just do it!” he's taken a back but does as you say. he sits there with eyes closed, he can feel you getting closer until your lips are on his.

you plant a quick kiss on his lips, before pulling away, a bit shy. you can see his blush has intensified. and he opens his eyes with a crooked smile. “you kissed me..” he mumbles and you nod your head. he laughs, placing a hand on his forehead, stressed but amused. you wear making him feel all sorts of things inside, how was he supposed to pick one??

“I don't think it's too surprising if I ask for another one.” he speaks before leaning back closer to you. and you back away a bit, surprised, before nodding your head. and with that, you spend the rest of your break making up for the days the two of you spent pining for each other, when you could've just done this much earlier.

I’ve been seeing a lot of hate for ‘damangela shippers’ when I really can only think of like 3? that are openly shipping them together??

Most people posting about Damangela are purely Dynamic Enjoyers™, and openly stating that. I don’t know where this wave of people came from, talking about ‘damangela shippers’ like there’s so many.

I have a theory about the whole Gay old men Divorce Scene that has been SCREAMING in my head ever since I watched season 5 and I have yet to see anyone else talk about something like this yet and I don't really have tdp Fandom friends to screech about it too so im yeeting it to tumblr instead!!

So. My theory. The entire bit with viren and Aaravos talking? I am absolutely certain that Viren wasn't awake during that. He had backslid back into his vision quest. And this has a lot of ramifications.

So when Claudia wakes Viren up after rescuing him from the river while he's dream questing, Viren obviously is Not Ok. It seems that Claudia has forcefully disrupted Viren's vision quest, and the result is he becomes catatonic. He's unresponsive, doesn't even blink. Its like he's a husk of himself, if you understand me here.

Vision quests obviously have something to do with the soul. I think its safe to assume that when you meddle in matters of the soul, things can go very VERY wrong. So my theory is the entire time Viren is awake but unresponsive, its because when Claudia woke him up it partially untethered his soul from his body. So YEAH THAT'S HORRIFYING. Makes you wonder what happens if you fail a vision quest.

So, viren is there but not, taking in stimuli but not processing because, well, his soul is out of place. And then Claudia walks into the water. And we see Viren's vision overlay with something that isn't happening. Something like a nightmare. I believe that seeing Claudia leaving was enough of an anchor for Viren's soul that it got him back in place from sheer desperation to reach her… but the moment his soul slots back into place? Viren falls back into the vision quest.

When Viren calls out to Claudia, things start getting surreal once again. She suddenly just… drops. Like the waist deep water had suddenly turned into an endless abyss. And I'd also like to point out that Viren called out to her, and yet no one seems to notice. Not even Terry. Which is really odd, don't you think? If my father in law who has been catatonic and unresponsive for days suddenly cried out, I would immediately be at his side because honking trees, that's the first sign that he's actually still in there! But Terry doesn't seem to even register it. Doesn't turn to look at Viren. Nothing. Which doesn't make sense…. Unless it's dream logic. And viren is backsliding into the fever dreams that make up a vision quest.

And then suddenly sparklepuff flickers into Aaravos. And that was the point when I was certain Viren was definitely dreaming again when I was watching. Because all of last season, mage fam hasn't been able to get in contact with aaravos because viren lost his magic cocoon lens contact of letting him see sparkly elf man. If aaravos could have made himself visible this entire time without the presence of the caterpillar eye contact lense, why in the world would he have not communicated until now? It wouldn't make sense for him. But by dream logic, it would make perfect sense, wouldn't it?

And then there's what Aaravos *says* as greeting. "This is a special day."

He just echoed Avizandum's line from when Harrow and viren killed the archdragon. A line that I dont think Aaravos has any way of knowing about, nevermind that Aaravos would sooner eat some of Lujanne's cooking than do anything reminiscent of avizandum so yeah, Something isn't Right here.

Then there's the old gay men divorce that happens and STILL terry doesn't notice, which would only make sense in a dream.

So yeah, my theory is that entire sequence isn't actually happening, its all in Viren's head as his vision quest picks back up. What is really happening in the waking world is viren's half-husked unconscious body silently gets up and sleep walks away while Terry is focused on watching for Claudia's return, thus why terry doesn't notice.

Now onto my most important part. Viren is dreaming. Which means the "aaravos" in that scene? isn't the real aaravos. Its a dream version of him, based on Viren's perception of aaravos rather than what aaravos is really like.

[Tumblr wont let me include a picture in the ask so im just going to have to settle for quoting Aaron's tweet in response to someone asking him if Viren was confirmed dead: "I won't spoil this but I will ask you the question I have asked every person who asks me this. Do you think Aaravos was telling him the truth?"]

The show writers have reiterated time and time again that aaravos doesn't lie. (My understanding is he works on a mix of fae and genie logic, he cant fabricate a falsehood directly, he can only state truths in a way that would cause people to make assumptions that aren't necessarily right.) Aaravos Never Lies. He cant lie. yet here, they insinuate that "aaravos" could be lying. Which means that that apparition can not be the real aaravos.

So yeah ive been screamming

So Claudia doesn't forcefully wake Viren up from his dream - it's very clearly his dream self that forces him to well, wake up for lack of a better term. It's only once she's dragged him to shore that he finds himself in his final confrontation with, well, himself, which is clearly the last stage of the dream.

She actually isn't touching him at all when he finally does wake up and coughing up water. (Which like, Claudia begging Viren not to repeat his path and die again, just as Viren rejects his prior path by accepting his former self? Chef's kiss)

You're right that Viren is definitely still catatonic in the real world / borderline hallucinating in 5x09 during his conversations with Aaravos (Aaravos even states as such, saying he's borrowed Viren's consciousness) but

Aaravos never lying doesn't mean he's always telling the Objective Truth or the True Nature of Reality. It just means he's always telling his subjective truth, as in what he believes to be true, like any other character (hi Zubeia's account of his life and treachery). As far as he knows, as of the end of 5x09, Claudia has succeeded in finding his prison ("Others are near as well, but no matter. Your daughter is far more powerful" yeah, about that, buddy...) and no blood of any of Viren's children has been adequately spilt. This is particularly true given that since Aaravos was confident Claudia would succeed, his notions of how the evening had gone was definitely not featuring her experiencing massive blood loss because of a limb being severed. Therefore, as far as Aaravos knows, Viren has failed his final test, and he will not live to see the following day.

As for Aaravos not communicating clearly - if all he needed was for them to go to Umber Tor, he could've told Claudia directly before going into the cocoon; Sir Sparklepuff only knows what Aaravos knows on that front, after all. But Aaravos is someone who is straightforward but never direct, if that dichotomy makes sense. He didn't tell them because he didn't want to and because it wasn't, in his eyes, necessary. (Which like Aaravos & Rayla secret keeping versus trust in S5 with their high mages but that's a whole other cano of worms for another day). Sir Sparklepuff (and everything entwined with him) was just another string for Aaravos to pull, I think.

Aaravos is also far more like Avizandum, I think - but the show loves to stack foils on top of foils constantly so that's not exactly surprising

hi dont mind me , i am writing this just after reading the chapter and with swollen eyes with how much i cried for other max, fuck this is worse than the last two chapters, i havent cried this much ever. you have such a brilliant mind i love it.

also i loved magnus in this chapter as well. as well as rafe it seems so much easier to understand them once you see the consequence of lucifer. also

also wtf was wrong with alec, like pointing an arrow is one thing but shooting a version of your kid, wow wasnt max supposed to be his fav technically like a bit biased not saying fav fav. i mean i get it, rafe is his kid of that timeline who is being threatened but shooting max was a bit too much for me from alec. i get it they dont completely understand max but atleast try to see from his side. i knew since arthur died and other max didnt tell it was all part of the plan and lance was aiming to be dead as per him. but it was a bit weird that magnus was more worried about the general health of his kids than alec (which idk just makes him colder to his kids, like almost superficial in a sense, u know what i am not making sense, its 1:36 am ist rn and i have just cried since 12 am bc of this chapter) but i know i am feeling a general sense of disappointment for alec generally in this chapter and like the whole fic in gen and not bc of other things just his take on well being(which used to be my fav thing abt him) which rafe often seems to be more in tune with than alec and yes i know he isnt the main character but idk why this got stuck i have just finished reading it literally so i will come back and write more about other max)

but anyways this was such a good hauntingly beautiful chapter. i loved it really so much. I think it was our max that went thro to the portal so when max came to he was in the changed timeline of whatever max did ? i think. my heart just went out for other max and what he had to deal with, like david suicide was something i saw coming but baby max doesnt deserve all the bad things happening to him in any universe, i knew there was a reason he has always been my fav even when he is annoying. like even in canon like cassie universe, since i started the books from 4th tmi book and then finished the whole series, max was literally the first character i knew of after the tmi novel like outside of his characters and i loved the little blueberry character since the start, always, (maybe also why alec's behaviour stuck odd to me, bc i love his and max relationship so much) bten has always been my fav story( again the alec-max relationship my fav). i literally bought my first tsc novel to be ttosa for him, just for his story ( and bane chronicles bc magnus being a fav is a canon event) i love him so much. bless just let him be alive and happy to some extent dani, that is all i ask

About Alec - I think it was a very Alec think to do. If you notice, he was the only one who was sceptical of Other Max - WHICH IS GOOD. ☘️ Honestly out of all the blinders i get toxic masculinity/homophobic vibes from Michael the most because he's the only one who hasn't experienced growing up as some kind of prejudiced against person BUT

☘️ I think he'd change for and because of you... See any snide comments he'd ever made, any judgemental things he'd said, he wouldnt ever have thought they were hurting his friend!

☘️ You're genuinely terrified to tell him and jt probably slips out in the messiest way possible... He says something about someone else being an *f slur and you very sharply counter with "whats so bad about that... Dont see how its any of your business is it..."

Ramattra doesnt know what to think anymore. He hates Human more than anything in this world and yet he cant find himself to leave Overwatch to return to the Null Sector. Lost in his thoughts he strolled around in the Overwatch Base Not caring where he goes. It didnt take him long before he bumped into someone. "Watch where you goi-." Ramattra stopped mid sentence after seeing who he bumped into. It was (y/n). He just starred down at you watching you how you fix your hair that went infront of your face.

"Oh Hi Ramattra. Sorry for bumping in you." You said with a small smile on your face watching the Omnic seeing what he will do next. "No I am the one who should apologize. I hope you arent hurt." He didnt understand him. If it would have been someone else he wouldnt care If they are hurt or not. If it would be someone else he wouldnt apologize for anything. "No im not, thank you for wondering. Well i'll see you later i have to go and bring Winstons the latest reports. See you" and after that you walked past Ramattra continuing on your way.

Ramattra couldnt help watching you leaving so soon. For some odd reason he wanted to continue talking to you. He didnt understand him why he thought like it. Your smile is still on his mind. You always have a smile on your face no matter who you are with. But why does he wish you would only smile at him like this why does he have the need to memorice it so badly.

Usualy he knows what He wants, how He gets it and who needs to be harmed If needed.

"The Mission isnt it" No its not the Mission but rather who was on the Mission. They were on Kings Row to get a payload with important things on. With him were Lena, better known as Tracer, Angela, Ana and (y/n). (Y/n), she was the reason they got it Last second before Talon got it. With her around it never gets boring. She always jokes at least 3 Times on a Mission.

"I swear Ram, If you dont stop being so grumpy i'll Go get Sombra from Talon so she Hacks you" Ramattra didnt know why but he laughted at her silly threat. "You wouldnt dare." "Ohh but i would" He could hear the joking ton in it knowing she wouldnt do it in the first place.

"Its (y/n). No matter what i do she always returns to my mind. No matter how hard i want to hate her and be disgusted by her i cant, No matter how many times i try to push her away, i shortly long for her presence and no matter what has happened i just wish to see her Smile." If He could Ramattra would turn red after everything he said. He feels humiliated talking like this about a simple human. " Ah i understand now what is troubling you, Brother. You have started to get feelings for her. But nothing to be afraid of." 'you got feelings for her.' 'you got feelings for her.' that one sentence repeated itself so many times in Ramattras head he lost counting.

"You should tell her, Brother." "What? No. I can not do such a thing." Truth is he can but he is to scared to see her reaction. Maybe she will laught at him, maybe she will run away from him or worse maybe she will hate him. The thought of all these things are enought to make Ramattra fear win over. "You should. "Well If i must be honest there was this one time-" before Ramattra could finish His sentence Zenyatta gave him a small slap in his arm. "If you wont do it i will dear Brother." If Ramattra could show emotions his face would be in full shock.

"Alright. I will do it myself." Either he would embarrass himself or Zenyatta does it and when he can chose he would do it himself. He excuses himself and went on search for (y/n). It took him a while to find you but he eventually did. You were sitting in the chilling lounge. A place where the agents could go to relax a bit after Missions. With you were Hana and Lena. Ramattra saw the three females chatting other something that he couldnt make out. Ramattra walked over to them and stopped a bit behind them. "Excuse me, but i need to speak with (y/n). Alone." He didnt wait for an answer. He took your hand in his big one as gentle as he could.

Outside of the room again Ramattra turned around looking down at your small figure still holding her hand. "Is there anything you need, Ram?" (Y/n) asked him using her nickname she gave him once while in a Mission. "Yes there is something i need. I need to tell you something." Ramattra wasnt sure how he will confes to you what he should tell her. "Well im ready to listen. Whatever it is i try my best to help you." after that you smiled at him again. The same smile he would do anything to see it everytime on your face.

" (y/n) i must admit im Not the best when it comes to this so i try my best. What i need to tell you is that-that i adore you." he took a small Talk break studing your face. So far He didnt saw any sign of fear or disgust so that is a good thing. "I adore all little things you do. I adore your smile. I adore your laught. I adore how you play with your hair when you try to focus in a Mission or any task you have. I adore you for you are. I believe it is even more than just adortion. I love you, (y/n)."

Even thought he Just waited a few Seconds for you to say something it felt like an eternity. What gave him hope was feeling how your soft hand took his one back and hold it. "Ramattra, thats so sweet of you to say. Do you really mean all of it?" " Every single Word" Ramattra than saw how you stand on your tip toes trying to reach his face. He bowed meeting you half way. He was confused to why you would do it until he felt your soft lips in His face plates. In full shock he didnt move just looking at you smiling like a child in Christmas.

"Well Ramattra, i must admit that i do as well love you." He thought he misheared you. But looking at your face He only saw love and honesty on it. He wrapoed his arms around you spinning you around. "You dont know how much it means for me to hear this from you" you couldnt Help yourself but to laught at his behaviour. He may look like a big mean and grumpy Guy- Well omnic- but he surly can act like a child. "Lets go some where privat to spend some time together alone" "Of course, my dear" and with that you and Ramattra went out of the base to spend the rest of the day together.

A: It's not a cult anymore! We've been busting our butts in that court mandated therapy!

A: We just want to fix things. The Champion and Cynthia did a really big favor, keeping us out of Forever Jail. Plus, some of us didn't have anywhere else to go. There's only about... 33 of us now?

A: Rude. But true. Saturn is technically in charge, but he's... not been doing too well. Can't blame him, really. It's a miracle he lasted this long. Jupiter went to Hoenn to work at some space place because we kind of ran out of money. So that leaves little old Mars! Jupiter thinks shes superior still, but I'm not the one with a live in Interpol agent.

Q: What do you even do?

A: Classic community service stuff. Also, working on reuniting stolen Pokémon. And cleaning up the lakes after the whole bomb thing. That was Jupiters idea, by the way. NOT mine. “sweet ! im getting my robux !” niki cheered softly from behind the door to the rooftop, earning himself a nice slap on the back from sunoo. “shh ! let the new couple enjoy their time together. i cant believe it took jungwon so many years to acknowledge his TRUE feelings.”
