hi! while i appreciate the intent behind it, i will not post infographics or endorse this donation drive as i can't verify the trustworthiness of the person/people running it, and they are asking people to donate to personal paypal and venmo accounts. i also could not find much information about the charity they are donating to (esims for gaza) aside from it's own website when i tried to search whether this is a trusted/legit organization

i'm not saying i know for sure this is a scam, it may very well be legit! but with the information or lack thereof that i found, i don't personally feel comfortable endorsing it. i do not want to discourage people to donate if this is something that they are interested in, but i encourage everyone to use their own discretion and do their own research before donating to any campaign

Humble suggestions for festival types:

Goat festival

Besides controlled burns (which you can't do if there's too much dead brush), the fastest, most effective, and most cost-efficient way to clear brush before fire season - esp really heavy dead brush - is to just. Put a bunch of goats on your land for a few days!

Remember that Shark Tank competitor who wanted to start a goat rental company, and everyone was like wtf? There was even a whole John Oliver bit making fun of the idea? Well THAT JUST PROVES THEY'RE FROM NICE WET PLACES, because goat rental companies are totally a thing, and they're great.

So like. Why don't we have a weekend where everyone with goats just takes those goats to the nearest land that needs a ton of clearing? Public officials could put up maps of where on public lands grazing is needed, and where it definitely shouldn't happen. Farmers and people/groups with a lot of acres that need clearing can post Goat Requests.

Little kids can make goat-themed crafts and give the goats lots of pets or treats at the end of the day for doing such a good job. Volunteers can help wrangle things so goats don't get where they're not supposed to (and everyone fences off land nowadays anyway, mostly). And the goats, of course, would be in fucking banquet paradise.

Planting Festival and Harvest Festival

Why mess with success??? Bring these back where they've disappeared!!! Time to swarm the community gardens and help everyone near you with a farm make sure that all of their seeds are sown and none of the food goes to waste in the fields, decaying and unpicked.

And then set up distribution parts of the festival so all the extra food gets where it needs to be! Boxes of free lemons in front of your house because you have 80 goddamned lemons are great, but you know what else would be great? An organized effort to take that shit to food pantries (which SUPER rarely get fresh produce, because they can't hold anything perishable for long at all) and community/farmer's markets

Rain Capture Festival

The "water year" - how we track annual rainfall and precipitation - is offset from the regular calendar year because, like, that's just when water cycles through the ecosystems (e.g. meltwater). At least in the US, the water year is October 1st through September 30th of the next year, because October 1st is around when all the snowmelt from last year is gone, and a new cycle is starting as rain begins to fall again in earnest.

So why don't we all have a big barn raising equivalent every September to build rain capture infrastructure?

Team up with some neighbors to turn one of those little grass strips on the sidewalk into a rain-garden with fall-planting plants. Go down to your local church and help them install some gutters and rain barrels. Help deculvert rivers so they run through the dirt again, and make sure all the storm drains in your neighborhood are nice and clear.

Even better, all of this - ESPECIALLY the rain gardens - will also help a ton with flood control!

Chuuya would be surprised and amazed at the same time when he first saw your ability with his own eyes, sure he has heard about this ability before but he’s never actually seen it for himself before.

Chuuya thinks that his s/o is so badass when they puppet the enemies, making them bow down and drop all of the weapons carried to the battle.

Dazai on the other hand would not really get surprised since this is his first time actually seeing this ability with his own eyes and not hearing it from some stupid book, but he still knew from the beginning

But when the three of you are all bored and out of missions to carry out, you'll all hangout in a bar to spend some time with each other

Niki who still has his white stick balancing on the bow of his bottom lip, tongue stroking the end as he squints at one of his scuffed lenses. Sometimes he’s surrounded by people whose names he doesn’t care to know, shooting some boring scene that gets the old timer’s panties wet and peckers to stiffen. That’s for the crowd that likes the vanilla stuff. “Vanilla” he ruminates, watching the two women in animal masks ride that poor sod’s entire body. Yeah. This is the shit that gets sold at the checkout line in the grocery store. He prefers his other work. The type where he’s no longer surrounded by people fiddling with equipment and lousy actors rehearsing their lines. The type that brings him back to his younger years of filming in the quiet barn. 

His muses came and went. None of them lasted much longer than two months. Except his little assistant. Fuck, he never had one before, when all he needed was his camera and his own sharp eyes. Except he fucking pulled something in his back and had to lie on Harper’s examining table, listening to the doctor chastise him on not taking care of himself, his own blond hair flecked with grey too. 

So, he had you. Lift the heavier equipment, hand out shit so he didn’t have to. Then, when it was just the two of you? You stayed quiet when he needed it. Filled the silence when he needed it. Helped him… When he needed it. 

When the actors and actresses bored him, when the hopeful bright eyed thing getting paid to get fucked in the ass struggled to hold his attention, Niki goes looking for something real. The club, recording as people groped each other breathlessly. To the park, to catch the odd streaker. 

Then there’s something special. Stuff he doesn’t let himself indulge in too much. But when he had a block, where all of his shots look stilted and wrong, when nothing is coming together like it should do, he can’t help it. He needs something real, nothing like the acted out sex, or the lapdances, or anything. Nothing for an audience, but something just for him. 

Even he didn’t know how it started. 

Sharing a room for a good price, with you quietly cooking at the stove while Niki huffed and grumbled, looking at the extensive amount of filming he had to do the next day. He thinks you might have burned yourself. Maybe nicked yourself with a knife. Just a soft swear from under your breath had him looking up at you, his graying strands dipping into his eyes as he saw you in the way he was meant to. 

The lighting was perfect. You loose tank top showing just enough skin by your ribs. The pretty way you were wholly unaware of his gaze going from disinterested, soft, to sharp, intense. An artist who finally had a muse again. 

Without you noticing, Niki quietly resticks his white stick back into his mouth and gets up. Moving around behind you as you made sure the two of you ate that night. The radio whining out a tinny little song masked any sound made by his movements. 

You turned around to ask your boss if he wanted something to drink with his meal but stopped short, seeing his camera up and rolling. Pointed directly at you. Making the soft whirring noises as Nikki fiddled with the equipment a bit before looking straight at you. 

There were no words for you. Just his gaze, fixed on you, with the camera whirring. 

It was the first time you had ever been on the other hand of the lens. You always stayed by his side during the filming, fiddling with the audio equipment or going over the notes Niki had prepared. It felt like you were bare. Being captured exactly how Niki saw you in this moment. Immortalized. Seen. Even though you still had all your clothes on, you felt bare. Because of not how he currently saw you, but you knew in what way he wanted to see you. 

Niki’s expression didn’t change as you slowly raised your hands and slipped yourself free of your shirt. His eyes remained steely and glinting but behind his relaxed lips, just barely open, his teeth were biting through his lollipop stick, breaking it.

Soft, perfect nipples hardening in the cool air, perking right up under his gaze. It felt more real than anything else he filmed for a long while. All for him. His breathing kicked up as you watched him right back, quietly seeking his approving gaze as you slowly dragged a hand over your chest, pressing your fingers down into your skin. It looked so soft, so easy and malleable for his tongue to ruin it with bruises and bites. He noticed the blemishes on your skin, everything that made you imperfect, but real. Nothing fake, not like his other productions with the actors. He knew you wouldn’t force your moans for him. Niki knew he caught you unawares, so you hadn’t had time to spend the last hour shaving your pubes, or shower after a long day of hauling things for him.  Authentic. Saliva pooled on his tongue. 

With a little jerk of his head, he motioned at your shorts, necessary in the cloying heat. Your chest hitched with a shuddering breath and Niki’s dry lips curled into a smile at long last. Nervous. Unaware. Shy. Real. 

So, your shorts pooled around your ankles, which you kicked to the side. Underwear was still on, but he could see everything, outlined perfectly. You motioned to slip those off but Niki shook his head. He made a circular motion with his finger and you flushed. A bit clumsy, almost slipping on the discarded shorts, you slowly did a charming little pirouette, leg lifted. He chuckled and then made his particular motion for you to bend over for him. 

Underwear snug against your body, he made sure to zoom in to where your hole would be. Waiting. 

You heard the click of the camera turning off before you heard Niki’s voice. 

“That's enough. We’ll get up early tomorrow morning.” 

You stood there, stock still for a moment, face too hot before scrambling for your clothes, almost mortified by what just happened. It felt like a snub. It wasn’t, but it felt like one. You expected the next day to be full of filming the cute cow-girls with tits too big for them to know what to do with, but Niki didn’t head towards the farm, instead driving out to the farmlands and hiking to the coast. 

He filmed you swimming. Sunbathing. Just existing as if you weren’t being paid by the hour for this. 

It wasn’t always like that. Niki still filmed other things, with his hand slowly rubbing circles into inner thigh as the camera rolled. The longer time passed in between your private shoots, the more times you caught him watching you during the shoots, eyes seeking out skin. 

Your personal shoots became lewder. Niki wanting to capture every inch of skin, as you invited him in, both his attention and his camera.

Hey! It's Helluva-Bust. I'm doing okay! You probably saw my posts about deactivating pretty soon and all that. Maybe as a bit of a retrospective when everything is said and done I might return, but otherwise don't wait for me to remake this time! I still keep up with all the critical blogs I engaged with (just silently of course). I am aware of the recent situation with kendraws, which I found genuinely disgusting and like, angered me so bad that I honestly would have just deleted my account then and there, because I've just completely given up on Viv. I'm done with her shows and I'm done with her garbage fanbase. I want to stop concerning myself over someone who is this vicious and toxic that she will literally play the victim card for being exposed for own abuse. Honestly, I was already feeling a bit drained from the account by both the show's gradual decline and vivzie's constant and abusive behavior and. It was like keeping track of an abuser and the show where she justifies her abuse, it was mentally draining and honestly pretty triggering for me haha. discussing viv's past and realizing how she just never learns and will continue to abuse people as long as she keep providing her fans her boring softcore porn just disturbed me too much to even enjoy ribbing on her works. i genuinely find her a dangerous and unhinged person who needs to get out of the leader's role ASAP. this is by means not a criticism of people who still watch her shows to critique her work (like i said still follow yall!) but I hope I explained myself. Yeah, I understand you completely fam! Nice to hear from you and that you’re doing okay, you’re right, it really is draining, especially what’s been going on recently, not to mention for me personally, the Ken document has really made me feel like I can’t look at Vivzie’s stuff the same again. Like…I knew she was a bad writer but good god the way she wrote in discord to Ken on developing the pilot really made me feel like this woman can’t produce anything good, but I’m being dramatic, I also in a certain scope can’t look at her shows the same because this has honestly got to be by far one of the most shittiest things she’s done, and that’s saying a lot. This is the first time we’ve seen this kinda evidence with her and how she acts, and honestly? It legit makes me want to give up on her and her show’s completely as well, it’s just….draining because it’s the same thing over and over again and she never learns and can never get the consequences of her mistreatment because she can’t be touched.

I might give up on Helluva soon, I know I said I would after Season 2 episode 2 but I obliviously came back because it’s entertaining to complain about the show and pick on it for its garbage writing lol, but I still have like…zero faith in the show. With that said, it’s of course important that you’re tending to yourself cause yeah 90% of the time the show ain’t worth the anger and can drain ALL of us lol, so don’t apologize or feel the need to explain for deactivating. like there are things to appreciate in 2012 for sure and i even like it like 60% to 70% of the time but it's also kind of triggering sometimes and i cant really tell when it will be either one of those.

I honestly don't see a lot of value in reading fics that are like, a meta "here's what i think is wrong with this series" or bashing other versions of tmnt. i mean i understand why someone would write them but they don't hold a lot of value for me personally as a reader.

to this day my favorite A-Team Is Abusive fic is These Days, it's been abandoned i think, but reading it was soooo good for me. I remember the genuine anxiety i felt while donnie was setting up his plan to run away. the authors got other fics too and it makes me CRAVE some good dysfunctional family reconciliation.

also it's clear, or at least it appears so to me, that the author really cares about these characters and is kind of taking the whole "ok but what if its not slapstick and we take the physical violence stuff and belittling stuff seriously" route which is like. yeah i really like that actually.

plus the like, leo dealing with the pressure of leading his family and kinda failing is !!! idk. and i really liked raph there cuz he was like a jerk but also totally understandable to me yknow, if you've been doing something forever it might not occur to you that it's REALLY BAD hhfasujgksadmagg.

however, i strongly, STRONGLY, believe that Geeta is an android

the way she talks the way she acts, EVERYTHING about this woman screams to me 'i am a manufactured human being'.

this isnt to say she doesnt matter somehow or she doesnt have feelings/thoughts/emotions. she clearly does. but so did AI Turo/Sada. she could still very much be an android whos able to think and feel in a similar way!!!!

if this isnt the case/isnt brought up in the DLC i will legit be surprised. theres SO much evidence to her being one in-game that its a bit hard to pick out examples, its just kind of in everything shes in and does.

like ill no means be mad at gamefreak, i myself cant really think of a way Geeta is able to walk around outside the crater if AI Turo/Sada couldnt. maybe its something to do with the way tera orbs work? maybe something to do with those weird panels mentioned in the scarlet/violet book in the academy? dunno, but i dont think it's impossible to make it so it doesnt undermine AI Turo's inability to leave the crater while making sense in the worldbuilding weve got. AIs are new to the series after all, theres a lot more stuff they can do with em.

and whether or not this theory is/isnt true, shes still an android to me. idc what gamefreak says shes not REAL!!!!!11!!1!!

and again, by no means her being an android makes her bad/evil. i just think the potential character drama from the gym members, school staff, main characters, and general public is SO golden. like imagine you find out that your boss is actually an artificial AI, i'd have a panic attack. the potential for varying reactions depending on each character, especially the gym members, is SO so good.

(also im not mentioning team star in this case because i dont think theyd really care all that much? like yeah thats their new boss of 2 weeks and yeah shes La Primera n all but they werent exactly a fan of the system in the first place, and while they probably dont hold any bad feelings towards the system anymore, they havent really been given much urgency to care all that much. as long as Geeta is nice to Penny, they wouldnt really care if Geeta's an AI. theyve all dealt with being outcasted for being different, theyre not gonna do that to someone else just because theyre an AI. Penny will probably find out Geeta's an android first but again i think she'd be chill about it. she'd probably be like "oh rad a robot mom, just like my videogames" and then work on antivirus programs meant for Geeta in order to sorta pay her back for taking Penny under her wing)

Please do not ship mainverse or high school AU Pink and Cupid! Due to their backstory its very icky to me

Shipping Valentine and Powder (Pirate AU Pink n Cupid) and Truffula Flu Pink n Cupid is ok and even somewhat canon. 

Ships with mainverse Pink may have potential to become canon, but do not expect a ship to become canon (looking at you E-Pink)

For example! I do not care if you ship Pink and Hobo, in fact I find it rather cute sometimes, but it is not canon so do not get upset if we bring up the fact that they are strictly platonic!!

Nothing with mainverse Cupid will be canon mostly due to the fact that he is aroace, but I don’t mind ppl shipping him! I know some of yall ship him with Hobo and I will sometimes entertain stuff like that on the blog but, again, it will never actually be canon. 

Pinkcest is fine lol. I sometimes draw Main Pink x Powder, but if ya wanna ship Pink x TFlu Pink or TFlu Pink x Powder that’s chill too.

I personally don’t vibe with Cupidcest for a few reasons, but do it if you want I guess (I’d rather you didnt)

Do NOT ship highshcool au Cupid and Valentine (Eros and Father Evangeline) first of all Eros in that au is a minor and Evangeline is a teacher, and secondly they’re legit related in that AU

I think mostly everything else is fair game unless something I didn’t think of comes up. I think shipping is fun and enjoy seeing you guys having fun with it

My other onceler ocs Bram, Moth, and Pearl are all fair game but I don’t really have any content of them up yet.

Ho boy what a past two couple weeks am i right guys??? This post will just be me throwing my thoughts at the wall dont expect any sense of consistance im going to be topic hopping probably also just to let you all know this post wont have much if any neg because i honestly font hold those feelings towards purgatory sorry xD however if yall do have neg stuff feel free to have an open discussion in the replies i wanna study yall under a microscope

Alright first of all lets give it up for Bolas guys lets be honest no one not even they themselves thought they were gunna win fr

As a sole Bolas watcher ill have to say these streams have been the most fun ive had watching a stream in a while ive legit fixed my sleeping schedual just to watch these streams lemme tell you

I know that alot of people are unhappy with the ending that we got today but just to remind everyone that i dont think the admins or quackity would do anything TRULY permant without discussion with the cc's

Maxs death was obviously planned days in advance and seeing as the cc's didnt know anything about the eggs conditions or whereabouts i think its safe to assume none of them are actually dead

I trust quackity and qsmp not to do something that would obviously be so unsatisfiying to both the players and the fans, mostly because several months of build up definitely wouldnt lead to that

I think purgatory will be used as a learning experience for qsmp staff as how to make events more enjoyable, and i have no doubt that the week(s) inbetween this purgatory event and the next will be spent working out bugs and making qol changes, we cant expect everything to go perfectly without making mistakes

I think that the ending to purgatory played into the whole theme thats been hammered on over and over again by quackity both in and out of game: this event is made to make you unhappy and uncomfortable. It was tailored to brew conflict and make you unsatisfied, whivh judging by peoples reactions worked very well!

This event is definitely going to make past and future experiences sweeter. Were going to look back on pre purgatory as the good ol days before disaster and look at post purgatory as the catharsis period after a disaster. Puragatory is defintely the growing pains need to bring new life into the server, ots the absence that makes the heart grow fonder.

I have a serious question to ask people down in the replies: how many of you came back to qsmp or started WATCHING qsmp because of the purgatory event. Ill be honest after the first couple months i only tuned into mr charlie slimecicles streams and those were few and far between but after puragtory started i began to feel the insatiable lust for more qsmp so i began to watch recap videos and vods at a horrifiying pace. I started watching other povs because of how well bolas played off of each other and i didnt want to miss a single second of their shenanigans.

This single event has made me more excited for qsmp content then anything in the past couple months. I got a fucking twitter account for christs sake just because i wanted to know wehn people were going live and to see recaps on what the other teams were up too.

I know these past two weeks have been stressful and uncomfortable for some people so i ask yall to take a step back and detoxify so we can come back to this with clearer and fresher prespectives so we can focus on the fun and intruiging aspects of the event

Lets wallow in the angst and let chaos take the wheel with theories and ideas on how everything will pan out from here, i have hope that everything will turn out in the end even if its brought about woth blood sweat and tears :) as long as we all have fun in the end thats all that matters yall
