Half breed (part two)

Background information: since the humans came back to Pandora thirteen years ago the military jerks had one mission to make this the new home for humanity but the scienctist had something else in mind not believing that humans could really survive on this planet with not being able to breath the air and everything being so tall in comparison to human life so they thought if they could make human into navi without a separate body the humans could live here comfortably but when it was finally time to execute there experiment they used a human baby girl and inserted her with navi DNA and let her grow like a avatar fifteen years later the unexpected happened and the base was raised and the humans barely escaped with there lives and didn't even think of hers when they quickly left leaving me here to be discovered by Jake and neytiri.

*Jake's eyes were in shock as he realized what she was a mixture of half navi and half human down to every feature but this only made him feel you were even more special the only one of your species even eawa saw something special in you as you passed through her eye and he knew he needed to protect her*

(Mini time skip one year later Y/N is now 14 lo'ak is 13 neteyam is 15 kiri is also 14 and tuk is 8 and it's time for y/n to complete her right of passage but Jake doesn't think she's ready)

Y/N was only introduced to the world a year ago how could neytiri possibly want her to complete her right of passage now she'll die she's half of the size of a regular navi I love her and all of her difference's but she NEEDS more training at least let her get fully grown for her species's so we can see where she's at but not now these were the thoughts that came through his head when you turned 14 a year later he knew this was coming but he hoped he could provent this he even thought about lieing about her age to give her more time and can't believe tiri actually suggest she should do it I understand that she wants her to be welcomed as one of the people officially as they still see you at half demon not a real navi but not now it's to dangerous..

Then the worst he possible thing he could possibly hear came from his ear peice out of loaks mouth when he told you that you where all in the abandoned battle field with some unidentified navi

They ended up ok barely by the tip of there fangs and they took spider they needed to leave it was the only to protect ALL of his children and they loaded everyone on there ikrans tuk riding with tiri and y/n of course riding with Jake and of course everyone of there other kids kiri loak neteyam had all already completed there right of passage lo'ak even completely his early and it kinda hurt y/n feelings feeling like she would never truly be navi and still gets confused about everything and often called stupid on account of my lack of knowledge of the area and things in general but it wasn't her fault she was mentally a small child still learning only taking her first step on this world a year ago and only JUST started talking a few months ago it wasn't her fault

It felt like Ive were strapped to Jake for days the flight being a constant fly no stops a full day of flying and I've been swaddled in a blanket for hours as It will get cold later in the night but we can't stop to give me a blanket so I had to stay wrapped in it the whole time but just tried to sleep the whole time and imagine what out new home will look like

And finally after a long long fly I start to feel the ikran start to slow down and I smell A LOT of water and I yawn and tap Jake "w-we b-b-by w-water??" I studder confused

He let one hand go off the ikran and patted her phead as there going pretty slow and steady now XD and Jake smiles taking in the beautiful ocean "yes we are babygirl look" as he says that y/n turns away from jakes chest she's strapped to and her ears perk up and eyes widen seeing the beautiful water and she gets restless to get out of the swaddle and finally once we land and Jake un swaddled you and you practicly jumped in excitement and Jake tried to be stern "make sure you stay RIGHT by me y/n for your safety do you understand" he says smiling and ruffling her hair and she giggled her ears flickering and she knods

they then walk over and Jake is talking to some man with alot of tattoos and he's verry tall and looks important and Jake is asking him for sanctuary the man looks like he has sympathy for us but then this women comes up to Jake looking last him at me and she grabs my chin and Jake hisses a little out of instinct and his ears push back as the women hisses back at him and examines my whole body and her eyes widen "they have brought a demon here!!!" She says with a snarl and neytiri hisses in reaction at her calling one of her children a demon and examines me and lo'ak us besides Jake the only ones with five fingers "two demons!!!" She looks at she who puts his hands up

"I am toruk makto and I to have demon blood see we are still navi just like you!" He defending his children of course trying to turn the attention into him "we might be different but we can learn your ways we ARE real ometkiya and we can become metkeyina!" He protests and eventually they agree to let us stay and now I'm a bit scared my first impression of this place being bad and now I'm stuck to Jake's side not wanting to leave it as I'm even more confused and scared than usual

i have 107 on maketea, but with my um. two other accounts i have 128

2. What's your total AO3 word count?

on maketea i have 293,935, but with at least one of my other accounts (one of them is for ml and one of them for another fandom, the latter of which i cant be bothered to log in to rn shdjsk) the total is 313,681!!

3. What fandoms do you write for?

miraculous ladybug mainly! but i have also written for owari no seraph. ive written for other fandoms but im not counting it if i literally only have one work to my name for them HSJAJA with ons at least i have 3 on maketea and 12 on my other account

THEORETICALLY. i also write for sailor moon. i have a substantial amount in my google docs. they just havent manifested themselves into existence yet

apology gifts, like poles of a magnet, new marinette, a nine-year old (fhfjsj), and i'll marry you! ive actually had kudos/hits/comments stats hidden on ao3 since 2021 so i have no clue how many kudos any of these have which is very funny to me

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

i try to but i always get distracted midway through going through my inbox which is totally on me fjdkka. i always decide to do it when im literally in the middle of class for whatever fuckin reason HAHAHA. i also always feel bad because im like 'oh i havent replied to this in literally two years im too embarrassed to reply now'

hmm. i think im quite good at writing interactions! i mean, i like the way i write them at least. i love capturing the feeling of being with people and i think i do it well!

there's something that feels kind of hesitant when i read my docs sometimes? it feels like im worried to hit the point of the plot head-on and skirting around what i actually want to say. i think what i'm trying to do to improve is to be a bit more direct in my narration style and focus on being descriptive only when it's needed.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Probably On Lies And Spies since it's a canon compliant peter fic, tho i think my prongsfoot fic might also be up there for competiton... (if we go off of ao3 i am currently writing a basically everyone dies fic and have written an angsty fred&george os on my first fic account)

Do you get hate on fics? mm yeah.. amtc specifically... idk what it is with that fic but ive had all kinds of things said there... people who hated the ending, people who thought no one should ever forgive james, people who said no one should ever forgive sirius, people being just in general mean (and not even in english??).. especially the comments in the bookmarks suck, ive had several people rate that fic out of 10, have had people write an entire list of what i should have done different etc etc... it sucks cause i still like that fic a lot, the first long fic ive ever finished, but its reached a point where im scared when people tell me theyre going to start reading it :(

KM: The report is correct, then? 

S: Only if it's telling you to get fucked.

Probably my Divorced Zukka The Last Five Years AU. I couldn't get it off to that strong of a start, the reception wasn't great, and there's a lot of boring stuff I'd have to get through before I got to the Good Stuff, so that motivation is just dead.

tbh just Being In Character. That's what I get the most compliments on. also grammar and spelling, that kind of thing.

I skip over description and setting scenes as much as I possibly can, and it's not necessarily that I Can't as much as I Don't Care To... I get away with it because it's fanfiction but I'd like to... start trying a bit harder at it

I guess if I had reason to? If it fit with the flow/plot of the fic, there was good reason to do it, and it was in one of the only two other languages I speak... I don't see there being a reason for that in this fandom though lol

my MO is usually to start with one sim, have a bunch of kids & then a bunch of grandkids, get overwhelmed by the number of sims i'm managing & then abandon the family. but now i'm setting up an uberhood to play with LD's story progression and im very excited to see how it goes when i can just focus on one household and let everyone live their lives without me :)

Question one about John 6:53-56;

53 Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you. 54 Whoever eats[a] my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. 55 For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him.

The modern Protestant interpretation is that it was symbolic, however Christianity up until about the 1600s always knew this to be literal. Even Martin Luther and other reformers believed in the Real Presence. I don't remember what conference they had or papers that decided this but early on in Protestant theology, it was decided that Christ was actually, literally present. Which is why traditional Lutherans and Anglicans often believe in the Real Presence in their churches.

I am not entirely sure when it started being interpreted to be symbolic, but it certainly wasn't by early Church Fathers or by the people in the Gospels themselves.

Second question about Sola Scriptura

Sola Scripture (Literally meaning "Scripture Alone" or "Solo Scripture") refers to one of the 5 "Sola's" that were developed by Reformationists to describe their belief that it is through Scripture Alone that we get our Theology, rather than through Scripture and Holy Tradition as Catholics and Orthodox believe.

The problem Catholicism and Orthodoxy have with Sola Scriptura, is that the idea itself cannot prove itself. That is, Scripture itself in both the Old and New Testament support the use of Holy Tradition.

As a side note, this is why many "traditionalist" Catholics take issue with certain modern practices, because if done incorrectly/for the wrong reasons, it flies in the face of a very Catholic idea, which is that we have the Traditions of 2000+ years of Church History, dating back to Christ Himself, on our side.

This rejection of Sola Scriptura is primarily found in 2 Timothy 2:13-15, but here is a good break down of a bunch of other quotes in both the New and Old Testament.

13 But we ought to give thanks to God for you always, brothers loved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in truth. 14 To this end he has [also] called you through our gospel to possess the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15 Therefore, brothers, stand firm and hold fast to the traditions that you were taught, either by an oral statement or by a letter of ours.

Third question about purgatory.

The easiest understanding I have to give on Purgatory is that it is a place where people who are already bound for heaven, when they have died in a state of sin or with grave attachments to this world, go to be fully cleansed by the redeeming Love of Christ. No one will be there for eternity, but since it is not of this world and is "outside of time" we have no idea really how long people "spend" there.

It is like when you have a dirty plate and you use soap and cold water to clean it. You may not see the dirt or food on it anymore, but it isn't really "clean" in the sense that it isn't sanitary. You would need to use hot water or some kind of sanitizer for that.

This isn't a perfect analogy, but it is a pretty common one people use to help explain it. It isn't that believing in Christ doesn't sanitize you, it does because Purgatory isn't for people that won't be in heaven, it is for people that for whatever reason didn't die perfectly "sanitized" by Christ in this life. For an example, someone who had a habitual sin or addiction, and was trying to recover but died before they could "fully" recover, would have that stain still on their soul. They were still trying to rid themselves of that dried-on food and invisible grime, but died before having a chance to, and so are sent to Purgatory prior to entering the gates of heaven.
