jack crawford beating hannibal in season three is so brutal but also so fucking satisfying. like the sound editors on this show are freaking marvelous because goddamn i feel everything i hear and flinch a little. it has such a different vibe than the season 2 showdown but also the sheer arrogance and hurt of these two men. ugh. hannibal was too good of a show for us. this show understands and respects its characters.
