Hello my lovely Tumblereeñas. I made a game with my friend for Godot Wild Game Jam. It's a visual novel game with routing mini-games!

((The mini-games are VERY HARD, plz don't be alarmed when you play, as there will be no game overs, so no sweat. 😅)) Plus the game is less than 15 minutes :)

But, this was my first time EVER participating in a creative project like this and I had a very good time throughout the entire process.

IRateBurritos was our lead programmer and drew the mini-game "arrows, stop signs, and conveyer belts". Everything else was me. Backgrounds, character animations, text box animation, and Title/Logo. I've very proud of how it all turned out. 🟩🟣💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

⬇️⬇️⬇️ Really wish we had gotten this little mouse to translate to the players mouse, but I think the computer hates me or smth.

⬇️⬇️⬇️ The drawings below do not reflect all of the assets we used for the game, but they are examples of how my animations looked for our "sprite sheets". Using PROCREATE was insane but it worked so I can't complain <3

I wanted everything to have eyes. Because YES.

the beauty of this is we all work together. you need beeswax for candles and lotions. some bread recipes use honey. the chef and bakers will need eggs from the chickens. and we make the knitters’ yarn from wool from the sheep! garden tools and many utensils are crafted from metal and wood. the gardener provides produce and herbs for the chef, and their garden is helped by the bees and chickens.

Oh, just imagine domestic Hualian, spending their days in the shrine or at ghost city.

Picking wild flowers at the shrine, cleaning the place up together, painting and writing, watching the sunrise everyday, cooking for each other. (Even if one of them is infamously bad at cooking.)

Walking through ghost city, hands intertwined, eating whichever street food is edible, saying hi to the other ghosts before retiring to Paradise manor, laying in each other’s arms in bed.

There’s something so healing about it. After all those years of torment, they finally got the peace that they deserved.
