mark is an absolute sweetheart, until he's feeling like causing a little bit of chaos (and he wants to see the little pout you do when he's teasing you)

you're walking through the aisles of the grocery store together, on a mission to pick out the best possible snacks for your weekly movie night when mark decides he's bored and starts tugging on your ponytail like he's in the second grade. you shoot a quick look (he'd call it a "menacing glare") at him over your shoulder before continuing to push the cart down the aisle in search of snacks. he continues with little ways to gently annoy you (aka to get your attention because you're paying way too much attention on shopping then loving on him) until you ask him to grab something off of the top shelf for you. you know by the grin that takes over his face when he grabs the box that you've made a mistake and he was absolutely going to be a little shit about.

holding the box high over your head the short jokes begin, even if you're not that much shorter than him. after a solid three minutes of staring at him your annoyance has reached the point where you roll your eyes, whack him on the arm, before huffing and continuing down the aisle, accepting that the box of gummies was now dead to you.

mark follows close behind grinning as you huff and pretend to give him the silent treatment before he finally grows tired of the "battle" between you, spinning you around as you reached for a bog of chips and bring his face close to yours he nudges your nose with his,

"you're so cute when you're mad at me"

you nudge his nose in response before lightly kicking at his shin and laughing at his dramatic declarations of the unbearable pain he's in and how evil his girlfriend is as you walk away

I feel like when you’re out at a party (which you don’t go to often, but Nick convinced you to tonight), you spend the night in his lap, stealing sips off his beer. And he’s just content to let you stay there, especially when you get all clingy and tuck your head against his shoulder. (He may or may not lightly graze your back of your neck with his hand a couple times; he definitely lets his hand rest on your thigh and he’s just happy to be spending time with you.)
