MATHIAS' MUSIC

To help you find your voice and use it with confidence. Inspired by Mathias Markov from Blood and Songbirds by Jasper (@jasper-the-menace).

What You Will Need:

1 small drawstring pouch, any color

1 white feather, small

1 clear quartz, small

1 sodalite, small

A song that makes you feel confident

A device that can play music

🎶 Settle in a quiet, comfortable place where you will not be disturbed or distracted. Ensure that all your spell ingredients are within reach.

🎶 Think of a time where you couldn’t find or use your voice. Mathias spent years held captive and unable to speak freely. His voice was muted by those who kept him prisoner. Was your voice also muted by another? Were you unable to speak freely?

🎶 First, grab the sodalite crystal and place it in the pouch. Blue is an important color for Mathias as it represents one of his magical colors. This particular blue crystal helps to enhance communication and boost confidence.  

🎶 Then grab the clear quartz crystal and place it in the pouch. This crystal helps amplify the power of other crystals and will also be used to amplify your voice.

🎶 Next, obtain the device that plays music. Music is important to Mathias as a Songbird and it is one of his key magical abilities. You will be using this song to connect to Mathias. Turn on the song that makes you feel confident. It is recommended to put the song on repeat for this next part.

🎶 Now grab the white feather with your dominant hand. White is an important color for Mathias as it is another of his magical colors. The feather represents the connection to his late sister, who was an Archangel for humanity. 

🎶 Hold the feather close to your chest. Close your eyes and let the music flow through you. Allow it to fill you with confident energy. Then, just as Mathias uses song in his magic, you will be using this song in yours. Sing or hum to the feather and allow that confident energy to flow from your chest to the feather. Repeat the song as many times as needed until you feel the feather is full.

🎶 Now place the feather in the pouch and tie it closed. Hold the pouch close and say, “With the blood pulsing through my veins and the power of song, this pouch will help me find my voice and use it with newfound confidence.”

🎶 The spell is now complete. Clean up your space and remember to carry the pouch whenever you need to find or use your voice.

Henchmen - How They Get Here

Not every henchmen is a student at DuPont. Here’s how each of them operate in Class of Villainy.

Ondine (LeFou) - Was already a student at DuPont.

Luka (Diablo) - One of the kids who is being “reformed” (Was in the Science Class, and then switched to the Akuma Class after Juleka frightened Miss Bustier. The Science Class and Akuma Class started at the same time.)

Zoe (Hans) and Cosette (Bellwether) have the school council as their henchmen

Markov is Max’s robot, so he’s always around

Socqueline (Jasper) and Fei (Horace)

Knew Marinette before DuPont, they’re 17 year-olds who were hired by the fashionista right before she was sent to DuPont. Has their phone number and sent them info on her location. Now that the group has magical portals, she can call for them anytime she needs someone to do her dirty work.

Third part of head canons for my upcoming series of Steven Universe and Miraculous Ladybug crossover fanfic one shots:

Steven hates Lila as much as he hates Kevin.

He also enlists Connie and Amethyst to be the "Marinette Defense Squad" with him whenever they are around her.

Marinette wishes she and Steven could have more normal lives at times.

Garnet teaches Marinette the same meditation technique she taught Steven and Connie.

Peridot starts a weird friendship with Max and Markov. Max also makes a fake birth certificate for Steven.

Steven will sometimes model the clothing Marinette creates.

Chloe doesn't understand how Steven can be so friendly with others but respects him for trying to keep a positive attitude despite the crap he has been through.

Jasper doesn't like Miraculous users at all since a past Ladybug held their own against her when fighting alongside the Crystal Gems, almost beating her.

Steven won't be akumatized but another Beach City resident might be subjected to it (haven't decided which one yet).

Steven will swear when rejecting Hawk Moth's offer (and be criticized for said swearing).

Pearl will comment that "Marinette deserves better" after hearing about the events of "Chameleon".

Marinette in turn thinks that Steven deserves better after this 'verse's take on the events of Steven Universe: Future.

TEAMS: Daw opens for Roo, Dogs lose GF hero

– Ex-skipper, big forward back for North – Two star Demons out injured – Injured Boyd missing for Bulldogs

INJURY-PRONE project Majak Daw is back for North Melbourne as it seeks to inflict a third-straight defeat on the Western Bulldogs on Saturday night.

Daw has battled a series of injuries this year, but his strong VFL form has forced the Kangaroos’ hand, with former skipper Andrew Swallow and Jamie Macmillan returning as well. Macmillan was a late withdrawal in last week’s clash with St Kilda.

North has dropped defender Lachie Hansen – who is out of contract at season’s end – and Jed Anderson, while small forward Kayne Turner is set to miss up to six weeks with a knee injury.

The Bulldogs are also losing key personnel, with Lin Jong (knee) and Tom Boyd (calf) forced outs. They have turned to tall timber Tom Campbell and Jack Redpath in their place. 

Spare-parts big man Shaun McKernan is the man Essendon has entrusted with filling in on Friday night for Cale Hooker, who dislocated a finger mid-week at training.

Third-year forward Kyle Langford also returns for his first match since round four, at omitted teammate David Myers’ expense.

The Bombers’ opponent, Sydney, added young pair Lewis Melican and Oliver Florent for Harry Marsh (omitted) and hard nut Zak Jones (suspension). 

Collingwood welcomes back experienced duo Ben Reid (quad) and Tyson Goldsack (shoulder) for its crunch match with Port Adelaide at the MCG on Saturday afternoon.

Josh Smith and Matt Scharenberg have made way for them. 

Jasper Pittard’s SANFL stint lasted just one week, with the defender back in the Port Adelaide senior squad to replace Jared Polec (hamstring).

Defender Nick Haynes’ long absence with a hamstring injury is set to end, with Greater Western Sydney naming him to face the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba on Saturday. 

The Giants dropped Harry Perryman to accommodate for Haynes, whose most-recent appearance was in round six. 

Alex Witherden will make his AFL debut for the Lions, who also promoted Rohan Bewick. Ryan Harwood (foot) and Marco Paparone (omitted) are the outs. 

Jack Watts (hamstring) failed to sufficiently recover from a hamstring issue and will join Melbourne co-captain Nathan Jones in not making the trip west to face the Eagles.

But ruckman Max Gawn (hamstring) will make his long-awaited return and Billy Stretch is also back.

West Coast brought back Josh Hill and Malcolm Karpany to cover Mark LeCras (hip) and Jackson nelson (hamstring) for the Saturday night showdown.

Geelong key forward Tom Hawkins returns from a one-week suspension for his jumper punch on Adelaide’s Matt Crouch. 

Mark Blicavs, George Horlin-Smith and Jordan Cunico could also join him in the Cats’ line-up against Fremantle at Simonds Stadium on Sunday. Nakia Cockatoo (hamstring) is their only confirmed out.

The Dockers could hand 201cm Cobden product Sean Darcy his debut as they deal with their ruck crisis. 

Aaron Sandilands (hamstring) has been sidelined since round nine and incumbent Jonathon Griffin will also miss with a calf injury. 

Darcy, Hayden Ballantyne (hamstring) – in for his first game of 2017 – Nick Suban, promoted rookie Josh Deluca, Ethan Hughes and Griffin Logue are the potential inclusions.

Joining Griffin out of the side are Cameron Sutcliffe (omitted) and Brady Grey (hamstring).

Billie Smedts, Sam Kerridge, Nick Graham and ex-Giant Jarrod Pickett are potential Carlton inclusions for their clash with Richmond.

Defender Tom Williamson (back) is the sole confirmed out so far.

Forgotten ruckman Ivan Maric – who last played in round 15 last year – heads the list of the Tigers‘ possible ins, which includes Ben Lennon and Oleg Markov.

St Kilda has recalled Shane Savage, Jack Steele and 2014 No.1 pick Paddy McCartin for Sunday’s contest with Gold Coast at Etihad Stadium.

The Suns could make as many as seven changes, with Jarrod Harbrow, Rory Thompson, Matt Shaw, Touk Miller, Callum Ah Chee, Brayden Fiorini and Darcy MacPherson in line to return.

They will be without Matt Rosa (suspension), Brandon Matera (foot), Michael Barlow (broken leg) and Aaron Hall (hamstring).

What is something the vice gang characters absolutely LOATHE? It don't gotta be deep lore lol, it can be extremely annoying pet peeves even lmao

fritz hates a lot of things but i'd say the biggest thing he absolutely can't stand is social interaction. even when he's out getting groceries he tries to limit social interaction as much as possible. it makes his skin crawl to spark up some small talk and he usually shuts it down by responding with a non-respondable answer. he deliberately goes out of his way to avoid people in general. he has to prepare himself every time he goes out in public because it's usually always a distressing experience for him.

AINSLY doesn't have the capacity for hate i don't think. she doesn't really have the capacity for any emotion really. same for AIDEN. android issues. but they are both programmed with personalities and preferences and they hate a lot of things that fritz hates as well though. it's always so painfully clear that fritz just wants everyone to be like him so he employs these androids to do that work for him. don't tell him his autistic utopia will never be achieved though

jasper's a computer science nerd and cares about computer science stuff. still need to research more computer science things to know what they'd hate. this section of the answer's a wip

jeroem is kind of like mordecai heller from lackadaisy (forgive me for inserting my own interests in this but whatever deal with it) in the sense that he's just constantly mildly annoyed by everything. he does have some strong opinions when it comes to commuting and will talk your head off about how certain psychologists are frauds and how freud, jung and the like, although revolutionary, have set back modern psychology for decades because the pervasive nature of their ideas and that their work was based on pseudoscience. don't ask him about certain things, you'll be there for hours. although he's outwardly boring, he keeps all his interesting attributes in the old noggin

as for the rest they're either so nonchalant about everything they couldn't give 2 shits about a single thing (enigma) or they're such a precious bean they don't even really hate anything (allie) or i haven't developed her character enough to know for sure what she would hate (sarah)

how would the vice gang spend christmas!!

fritz - doesn't necessarily celebrate any holidays but it would stress him out to not partake in some holiday traditions because it would disrupt his schedule. so while he technically doesn't celebrate hannukah, growing up in a jewish household he got used to all the traditions and even after he moved out he needs to still practice these traditions or else he would become incredibly irritable and stressed if anything changed

AINSLY and AIDEN - they enjoy partaking in hannukah when fritz "celebrates" it. AINSLY likes begging fritz for gifts and he begrudgingly gifts her what she asks for only during the holidays

enigma - ever since being kicked out of the house, engima really hasn't celebrated any holidays. after they found shelter in fritz's house though, they've asked to be included in the hanukah traditions, although fritz always says no

jasper - gift exchange between friends usually. sometimes answers fritz's obsessive calls when bored

allie and sarah - opening presents with family

jeroem - hasn't received a gift in years but likes giving them. he's that sort of person

enigma - "man all i want is my fucking dealer to message me back. bro hasn't gotten back to me in months and i need my shit. oh also i wanna get some winter clothes but i can't do that because i can't get a job and fritz won't pay me"

jasper - "probably cat ears more than anything. or a collar. don't fucking judge me"

allie - "oh, just one thing? really? oh i want so much stuff it's hard to choose! maybe a new pc. yeah that'd be the thing!"

sarah - "i just wanna be happy"

jeroem - "i don't usually like receiving gifts on holidays but i think spending time with family will be enough of a gift for me"
