At least, that’s how Pilate would explain it if his colleagues found out.

Pilate lay flat on his back, staring up at the ceiling. It was almost pitch dark, save for the occasional flash of headlights from the street. A dull ache reverberated through his lower back. This was odd, the pains in his back and hips all but ceased ever since he began taking pilates classes weekly. Perhaps his age was beginning to catch up with him. He sighed, satisfied with this explanation. That is, until he felt the warm breath of someone fast asleep next to him.
