Hey current followers! Ten years ago I wrote a Jeanmarco fanfic named Render for Attack On Titan (before it got. controversial) about a guy who 'inherits' the cyborg remains of his childhood best friend. It kind of holds up, and unfortunately the dehumanization of disabled and marginalized people continues to be relevant. And it's still miles and miles my most popular work, largely because fandom culture is... different now, at least in my age bracket.

I've got a bunch of old fanart from that period queue'd up under render anniversary queue if you wanna blacklist it. You are also welcome to read it! It's an alternate universe so a knowledge of SNK/AOT isn't needed except for picturing some of the characters.

hello,

like many of us tumblr veterans, i use to write fanfiction in 2016.....that feels like such a long time ago...

i have made posts before on my desires to finish those fics, some left hanging for 8 years.

my readers are likely long gone, the stories from all those years ago are written by a completely different person, but all that being said, i still want to finish off my work and even reprise some of my old completed fics like I've seen other writers do.

I'm not necessarily invested in half these fandom anymore, but as I get older i realize how you don't need to grow out of things, you can still love and honour things you loved in the past, and how much I love fandom culture.

I'm also a non-finisher. I desperately want to finish even one thing to prove to myself I can.

yo does anyone know why All The Stars In Texas by southspinner vanished off the face of the earth and where i can find a copy with all of the chapters?

to my recollection it was:

a jeanmarco deep south 1920s bonnie and clyde bootleggers au

the first 28 chapters written in 2014 then out of the blue finished in early 2020
