Hey... So, yeah, my Waiting for Forever fanfic has been on hiatus... I do plan on continuing to write it, just life stuff has come up, same with just crippling depression.
I have plans for my Waiting for Forever fanfic, so it will come, just slowly, sadly... I love Willie too much to abandon him.
I also have had some other great ideas for fanfics that I both would either like to write myself or allow someone else to write with some input from me on the idea. Most of the ideas for fanfics I have are things I would love to read myself, so...
Of course all my ideas are Tom Sturridge related... Here are some of my ideas for fanfics... If you want to write it yourself, just please reach out to me and ask me what my full idea was and maybe give me a bit of credit for helping to come up with it, that's all I ask if you are gonna write before I have the chance to.
Tom Sturridge fanfic Ideas:
Nathan from 'Skin'. It's an 11 minute short film that showcases how amazing Tom is as an actor. He gives so much to this performance, I was floored.
What we were able to get from the story is that he is grieving the death of his husband. Well, I am assuming Daniel, that's the man's name that Nathan was with, was his husband considering it seemed like it was more than just boyfriends.
The AI voice never states what Company that Nathan works for, so I have been calling it The Company... Which started to sound ominous in my head. It could be a tech company, but it could also be a company with illuminati levels of influence...
My idea, vaguely, was that after the stunt that Nathan pulls to manipulate the AI into playing a recording of his husband's voice, The Company makes him agree to a Live-In Companion, much like a Companion from Firefly but less just a one and done. And in my mind Nathan is bisexual. He agrees, but chooses a female companion.
She is to stay with him for three months, helping him with whatever he needs, like whatever he needs, to help him heal from his grief of losing his husband... So he is work ready again for The Company. If he fails to become work ready in that time or if he does not sign the documentation to start the process, The Company will terminate him and take him to court over the stunt he pulled.
I have so many ideas for this, all of them very thriller sci-fi conspiracy and action, with smut of course thrown in there. Like what if The Company gave Nathan's husband the cancer he ultimately died of? Why? For what reason? Juicy shit my guys, juicy shit.
I wish I could write this myself... And maybe I will... Unless someone else likes it so much to collab with me on it?
Anyway, next idea....
Jake. Jakey. Baby Jakey. Sweetbitter.
So, I had a thought awhile ago that Jake would be great with a roller derby chick... But then I thought maybe he would be great with a professional dancer... Like all styles of dance. She has spent her life training in dance. And she moves into the apartment next door to Jake's place. No new hire at the restaurant bullshit. She is removed from it because that is what Jake needs in a relationship. Something separate from the restaurant.
I had the thought that she was hired to be the choreography coordinator at Broadway, so, she is a career driven woman, something I think Jake needs. Vision. And I think this dancer OC would help him see that he is a good enough photographer to actually pursue that as a career.
Like what if she shows her boss at Broadway his work and her boss wants to hire him for a fuck ton of money to shoot dress rehearsal and opening night, where his photos will be chosen for an article on the play in The New York Times, who is looking for a new journalist photographer. Like it could be life changing.
I had the thought that the play would be the musical Moulin Rouge...
And yeah, Jake will be Jake about it, self-doubt, the Simone of it all. But I think it could work. Giving Jake a partner that believes in him and wants him to choose something for himself and himself alone just this once.
Anyway... Another idea I have is a parody idea... Of a cross-over of The Great British Baking Show and The Sandman. Like it's a promotional episode of TGBBS for The Sandman.
The actors playing The Endless would do the Signature and Technical as themselves, the actors, but for the Show-Stopper, they are their characters.
It was a funny idea. And I don't know all the actors and characters enough to write it believably, so, someone who does, please write this. I think it would be so fucking funny.
And who would win? Is it just one episode or are they doing multiple to actually get the The Endless that is the star of The Great British Baking Show?
Anyway, those are my ideas for fanfics... And yeah, I still am gonna write my Waiting for Forever fanfic, it's just slow going...
Here's a cute Willie for now 😘

Kingdom Hearts IV predictions: Radiator Springs/Dinoco Rust-eze Racing Center/Fireball Beach/Thunder Hollow/Thomasville/Florida International Speedway (Cars)

Takes place after Cars 3.
Is visited by Sora, who enters the world as a 2017 Nissan 370Z before visits to Luigi’s Casa Della Tires and Ramone’s House of Body Art end with him modified into a next-gen race car sponsored by Dinoco (with Tex’s blessing) and with Cruz’s number.
It isn’t combat based. Missions include keeping up with McQueen’s top speed by racing down Radiator Springs’ main street, learning how to turn right to go left at Willy’s Butte, driving backwards with Mater, keeping up with Cruz’s top speed on Fireball Beach, avoiding pushy competitors with the Thunder Hollow challengers, and practicing with Cruz at Thomasville, culminating in the Piston Cup race at Florida International Speedway, where the objective is to win against Jackson Storm.
It’s set during Cruz’s first Piston Cup racing season, so McQueen still has Doc’s colors and spends the Florida race as Sora’s crew chief. Also, Ramone wears his “Saludos Amigos” body paint from the epilogue of Cars 3.
As Sora finishes his story, Mater is certainly unhappy with Xehanort’s actions forcing Sora’s hand. “That dad-gum Xehanort,” he says angrily. Extra points if Sora doesn’t get to the part where Xehanort is dead, then Sarge gets in his face and demands him to teach Xehanort a lesson when he gets back in a militaristic manner. “Is that understood,” Sarge yells. Then Sora tries to correct him, but gets cut off and asked again, “Is that understood,” and has to respond, “Sir, yes, sir!”
Of course, during the top speed races, Luigi is the one to signal the race to begin. In the Radiator Springs race, Sora’s top speed is tracked by Sheriff’s speed radar, and on Fireball Beach, it’s via Cruz’s personal assistant, Hamilton.
If you fail the “Turn Right to go Left” mission, Sora goes flying into the bed of cacti, and Mater fishes him out.
“I don’t like to toot my own horn, but…” (HONKS TWICE) “Toot my own horn. That’s funny right there.” - Sir Tow Mater, beginning his backwards driving lesson, 2017
Cars 2 elements will be here. Heck, maybe Mater can’t be present most for the training because he’s busy with Finn and Holley. After all, does he still owe Holley a first date?
I wanted the player character in this world to be Kairi just so Storm can feel the embarrassment of losing to not one, but two “costume girls”.
The Piston Cup race is announced as a 500-lap race, but no game developer is that malicious to force the player to race 500 laps around an oval, so they’d take after the first Cars game and make it twelve laps with the sun slowly lowering throughout the race.

Top 10 ships!
I was tagged by @primal--scream (thanks :)!)
These are in no particular order and honestly was so hard to choose lol. I don't love them any/much more than my other ships, but most of these will be long time or often recurring ones for me lol
and that's that! There are so many more I would put if I could (Jerome and Asher, David and Patrick, Yuri and Charley - though they're very new -, Nathan and Skylar, etc.), but here are some of my favorite ships :)

Panic! in Four Minutes — VoicePlay music videos
All singers are performers, but VoicePlay have definitely earned their moniker as the theater kids of the a cappella world. When they decided to create a medley of PatD songs, they wanted their own accompanying videos to have a bit of the same short-film aesthetic as the band's original videos. What ensued was a mid-summer location shoot, a kidnapping scenario straight out of a heist film, and even a dramatic cliffhanger.
youtube
Details:
title: Panic! in Four Minutes, part 1
original songs / performers: all songs by Panic! At the Disco — "Victorious"; "I Write Sins Not Tragedies"; "Emperor's New Clothes"; "Miss Jackson", feat. Lolo; "The Ballad of Mona Lisa"
written by: all songs by Brendon Urie in collaboration — "Victorious" with Mike Viola, Morgan "White Sea" Kibby, Jake Sinclair, Alexander DeLeon, Rivers Cuomo, & CJ Baran; "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" with Ryan Ross & Spencer Smith; "Emperor's New Clothes" with Jake Sinclair, Lauren "Lolo" Pritchard, Sam Hollander, & Dan Wilson; "Miss Jackson" with Dallon Weekes, Lauren "Lolo" Pritchard, Jake Sinclair, Amir Jerome Salem, & Alex Goose; "The Ballad of Mona Lisa" with Spencer Smith, Butch Walker, & John Feldmann
arranged by: Layne Stein & Earl Elkins, Jr.
release date: 13 July 2018
My favorite bits:
the rhythm section's crisp beginning
that incredible chord from the end of the "Victorious" intro section doubling as a frightened scream
Earl's focused tone on that falling chromatic line
everyone slumping in their seats during the first transition
Eli's defiant rock grit on "Emperor's New Clothes"
slipping that key change into ♫ "anywa-ay-ay" ♫
adding chair and chain sounds to Layne's already impressive percussion (and using the latter as a radio edit)
J.None's lovely falling run on ♫ "rationality" ♫
such beautiful harmonies on "Ballad of Mona Lisa"
Geoff's subharmonic drop on ♫ "believe" ♫

.
youtube
Details:
title: Panic! in Four Minutes, part 2
original songs / performers: all songs by Panic! At the Disco — "This Is Gospel"; "High Hopes"; "Say Amen (Saturday Night)"
written by: all songs by Brendon Urie in collaboration — "This Is Gospel" with Dallon Weekes & Jake Sinclair; "High Hopes" with Jake Sinclair, Jenny Owen Youngs, Lauren "Lolo" Pritchard, Sam Hollander, William Lobban-Bean, Jonas Jeberg, Taylor Parks, & Ilsey Juber; "Say Amen (Saturday Night)" with Jake Sinclair, Sam Hollander, Lauren "Lolo" Pritchard, Imad Royal, Nathan Abshire, Suzy Shinn, Tom Peyton, Tobias Wincorn, & The Budos Band
arranged by: Layne Stein & Earl Elkins, Jr.
release date: 20 July 2018
My favorite bits:
the panicked (ha!) heartbeat sounds
Layne's gentle timbre on the opening of "This Is Gospel"
everyone jerking against their chains as Earl belts out ♫ "let me GOOO" ♫
the soft bell chords under Eli's lead section
Geoff rounding out the low end as Eli sings ♫ "all tied up" ♫
Layne putting his increasing frustration into the percussion through rhythmic breathing
Earl mouthing "What the fu–?!" when Geoff haphazardly tosses the key so far out of his reach
that blazingly high ♫ "SaturDAAAAY" ♫ from J.None
all the others cringing away from the bomb as much as they can when the timer nears the end and Geoff takes a wild guess at which wire to cut
finishing on pure octaves for that last ♫ "vic-tor-i-ous" ♫

Trivia:
These videos were filmed at an abandoned sawmill previously owned by the Wilson Cypress Co. in Palatka, FL. According to the guys' various anecdotes, the place didn't smell great, and there were some wasps flying around. The things they endure for their art.
The original PaTD videos for three of the songs included in this medley — "Say Amen", "This Is Gospel", and "Emperor's New Clothes" — contain a continuous story known as the Devil's Key trilogy. It stands to reason that the key around Geoff's neck is a reference to that.
One eagle-eyed viewer spotted another bit of PatD inspiration in the visuals for these videos.

J.None has said that the B5 wail in "Say Amen (Saturday Night)" is the highest note he's ever hit. Considering that he's a natural baritone, and now sings bass with the SeaChanters, that's darn impressive.
Similarly, Geoff's E1 at the end of "Ballad of Mona Lisa" was his lowest recorded note at the time. (He has, of course, surpassed that by half an octave in the years since then.)
Makeup artist Dana Bracewell from Makeup and Creative Arts provided the fake dirt and injuries. (No singers were actually harmed in the making of this video.)
The cover art was designed by VP's longtime friend and collaborator Rek Dunn.
The guys demonstrated the opening tape pull for production assistants Rek and Hayley in the trailer where they got gussied up. Hayley ended up doing it in the video.
instagram
The Facebook upload of "Part 1" racked up two million views in a day and a half, six million in less than a week, 10 million before the end of the month, and 15 million in just over three weeks. After six years, it's sitting just under 30 million.
It also nudged them over 600,000 followers on Facebook.
A fan brought the first video to Brendon Urie's attention on Twitter, and he passed it along to his fans, which certainly didn't hurt.

A few fan artists were inspired to capture the guys' predicament, and speculate about the aftermath.

art by amedamatoame (師旋)

art by Clara Meath & Leon King
VoicePlay's video for "Billie Eilish in 3 Minutes", released a little over a year later, is a prequel to this story, showing how they ended up in so much danger.
Some fans have embraced a headcanon that the video for "Queen in 5 Minutes" is the next episode in this story, and that Earl ends up in the hospital because Geoff cut the wrong wire and failed to stop the explosion.
The unified video was originally only available to Patreon patrons, but it was uploaded to VoicePlay's TikTok account after five years.
During a break in filming, Eli's shared a story about a mishap that occured while he was playing Fortnite.
instagram
They also used their break time to practice a little stunt work.
instagram
They even created a suitably dramatic trailer for this two-parter.
instagram
A single-track audio version was later included on VoicePlay's "Citrus" album, which compiled most of the songs they recorded from 2017-19. Because the individual songs had already been made available digitally, that album is exclusively a physical item that can only be purchased at live shows or through their website.

Back to my previous question, if I may:
Was Napolean supposed to happen? Or was he the monster created by their own actions?
When speaking of Napoleon’s genius as a statesman, we must never forget (among other things) that it was he who finally reduced the Gallican Church to ruins, thus irretrievably delivering over the great majority of the French to Rome and destroying every possibility of a genuine national Church. He it was also who enthroned the Jews. This man — devoid of all understanding for historical truth and necessity, the impersonation of wicked caprice — is a destroyer, not a creator, at best a codifier, not an inventor; he is a minion of the Chaos, the proper complement to Ignatius of Loyola, a new personification of the anti-Teutonic spirit. — Houston Stewart Chamberlain, Foundations of the Nineteenth Century (1899).

Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821) was the product of the French Revolution and the leading figure, that the Jews extended the gains they had made in France to much of the rest of Europe. Ghettos were abolished, granted them civil rights, lifted all restrictions on Jewish activities, not only Emancipated them in France every country he conquered, unleashing bloodshed and tyranny and anyone who spoke out against the Jews was in danger of being put before a military firing squad.
In 1807, Napoleon issued decrees to help promote equality among the jews. His third decree, the Decret infame (infamous decree) limiting the extent to which Jewish moneylenders could prey on the French peasantry, the Jews screamed in rage against him.
Although its aim was to grant equal citizenship, it restricted Jewish money lending (Catholics were not permitted to commit acts of usury, that is, the charging of interest as profit on loans), annulled all debts owed to Jews by married women, minors and soldiers, voided any loan that had interest rates exceeding 10 percent, and limited the residency of new Jewish peoples in France by restricting their business activities, while allowing work in agriculture and craftsmanship. The combination of these decrees severely weakened the financial position of once dominant rural French money lending Jews.
Despite all the wonderful things he did for the Jews and the positive things he said about them. It is clear on many different occasions, that Napoleon personally despised them. "The Jews are a vile people, cowardly and cruel,” he said in reference to some of the atrocities committed by Jews during the Reign of Terror. They are “the most despicable race in the world.”
In a letter of March 6, 1808, to his brother Jerome, Napoleon wrote:
"I decided to improve the Jews. But I do not want more of them in my kingdom. Indeed, I have done all to prove my scorn of the vilest nation in the world."
In 1815, Jewish Zionists James Rothschild of France and Nathan Rothschild of England finance Wellington’s victory over Napoleon at Waterloo. As a form of revenge against Napoleon over the Decret infame. Leading to Napoleon’s own end.

wondering (are you my best friend?)
@cycleprompttuesday: "friendship"
also on ao3
you needs to make friends, they say. it will help. it will make you more likeable.
you think:
wout, wrapping you in the biggest and warmest hug you've ever felt after a climb that made you feel like you were dying, squeezing the back of your neck and calling you “little guy” with eyes crinkled in a smile, sending you photos of jerome in a little yellow jersey
nathan, sitting on his bed in your shared hotel room as you unwind from the race in companionable silence, laughing and joking to raise your spirits during another interminable sprint stage, calling you with a soft voice and reassuring words from a hospital bed when your world is falling apart
sepp, talking your ear off about this or that with bright eyes and animated hands and american phrases that you don’t understand, rubbing your back as you slump exhaustedly over your handlebars after a stage, begging you to come to andorra to visit “even though you’ll take all my koms”
not like that, they say. those are your teammates. that’s different.
you think:
michael, grinning at you across the counter at the fish factory before flicking cold water in your face, ruffling your hair and buying you a beer to celebrate your first professional contract, calling you after you win the tour the first time to brag about having noticed you first
mads, cursing up a storm on live tv but making you smile brighter than the sun, one arm around your back and whispering stupid jokes to you on the balcony in front of half a million people, showing up on your doorstep unannounced with a case of beer and an easy grin
mattias, cocking an eyebrow and challenging you to race to the top of yet another swiss mountain, outdrinking all of you on a night when strictly speaking you shouldn’t be drinking at all, laughing at your hair and tugging on it where it sticks out the slats of your helmet
not like that, they say. those are your countrymen. that’s different.
you think:
tadej, smiling and laughing and fistbumping at every starting line, texting you after every win to congratulate you and to promise another battle, practically begging you to come to lombardia, to flanders, to la flèche wallonne because “we will have fun, won’t we?”
remco, joking with you before each stage and pretending to throw his bike as you cross the line, texting you weird memes in dutch that you don't understand but laugh at anyway, at the after-party taking ridiculous drunken selfies that should never see the light of day
primož, inviting you to come to monaco "just like old times, eh?", slapping you on the back with a genuine smile and promising not to go easy on you in july, greeting you at the starting line with a quick grin and an eyebrow raised in challenge
not like that, they say. those are your rivals. that’s different.
you think:
different from what?
#what is this? i do not have the answer to that#why do i keep writing in second person? i don't have the answer to that either#who is “they” here? you decide#what if i wrote something#cycleprompttuesday

Tom is gonna get a golden globe nom just b/c there is very little competition in his category of best actor in a limited series I cant even name 5 male actors who would even fill out that category. Like I guess jharrel jerome for Im a virgo, steven yeun for beef I guess and with shows being pushed back due to the strike I dont even know what else is coming out ( maybe my boy nathan fielder for the curse)
I think he's gonna get one too Anon! 🤭🤭
I can feel it!
Golden Globes here we Cooooomeee!!! 😁
The thing with the Golden Globes too is that they usually separate different categories (wish the Oscars did this), so actors have more of a chance at winning in their category. 😊

David Bowie in The Man Who Fell to Earth (Nicolas Roeg, 1976)
Cast: David Bowie, Rip Torn, Candy Clark, Buck Henry, Bernie Casey, Jackson D. Kane. Screenplay: Paul Mayerberg, based on a novel by Walter Tevis. Cinematography: Anthony B. Richmond. Production design: Brian Eatwell. Film editing: Graeme Clifford. Music: John Phillips, Stomu Yamashta.
The Man Who Fell to Earth exhibits some of the carelessness (some of it fueled by too-easy access to drugs) that afflicted the film industry in the mid-1970s, when people with a lot of money were looking for the Next Big Hit aimed at the youth market. And what could be better than a sci-fi film featuring a major rock star, lots of sex, and an irreverent attitude toward American corporations? It’s a frequently brilliant but also often frequently incoherent movie, held together by David Bowie's charisma as the alien Thomas Jerome Newton, even though Bowie later said that he was so high on cocaine during the filming that he didn't know what he was doing. In the film, he gets hooked on gin and television, so his drug indulgence may have helped in his performance. None of the other cast members stands out as prominently as Bowie. Rip Torn doesn't put together a coherent character as Nathan Bryce, the lecherous college professor who gets hired on by the mega-corporation created by Newton so he can bring water to his dying home planet. Candy Clark, who plays Mary-Lou, the hotel maid who becomes Newton's lover, has some affecting moments, but it's never clear whether she is extraordinarily naïve or under a kind of mind control induced by Newton. Nicolas Roeg somehow pulled through a difficult shoot in New Mexico, and while the movie never quite succeeds as either science fiction or satire, it became a cult hit. There's an intelligence (or at least an attitude) in the film that makes many more coherent and better polished films about alien visitors look tame and conventional.
