HI!!! Just wanted to say that I'm loving the AU
As someone who also loves scarecrow and is also making an au, what are some of the inspos for Good ol Jonny Crane
Thank you so much!!
Jonathan is one of my favorite Punch!verse characters to work with. I have a lot of influences for him in terms of design and personality. I really wanted him to have more of a Hannibal Lecter vibe (in the way he acts, not the things he does). Jon always needs to be a few steps ahead of the situation, and due to his background in psychology he always knows the right thing to say to push people's buttons and cut them where it hurts deep. (You can read some of how I write him in the latest chapters of my fic 'Double Jeopardy'). My main problem with most interpretations of Johnny is that he's not scary lol
When I draw him I usually try to capture Rhys Ifans (he played the Lizard in ASM and he plays Otto Hightower in House of the Dragon). He has that thin face and sunken eyed look that I like for Jon. As for his voice I always thought he'd have the voice of Ghostface lol. That sort of semi-cocky, semi-unhinged voice with a tone of spookiness but still charismatic

HARTFORD WOLF PACK DROP SHOOTOUT TO SPRINGFIELD THUNDERBIRDS
Tumblr media
By: Gerry Cantlon, Howlings HARTFORD, CT - Despite Louie Domingue's repeating his season-high 42 saves, the Hartford Wolf Pack lost 1-0 to the Springfield Thunderbirds on Quinnipiac grad Matt Peca's glove-high game-winner. Dylan Garand posted a scoreless 65 minutes against Hershey, making the Pack 2-7 in shutouts this season. The lone Pack shootout goal was by a defenseman, newcomer Adam Clendening wearing jersey #5. In overtime, the Pack displayed a strong PK after Matt Robertson was penalized on a Will Bitten clean breakaway. The Pack had three blocks, and broke-up two plays, and Domingue, was solid on the delayed penalty situation on Robertson, while making a beautiful right pad save on Hugh McGing. He had three strong late OT saves on a stick save on Adam Gaudette, Matt Kessel, and Martin Frk to keep it scoreless. The Pack got a solid bid to win early in OT by Will Cullye. In the third period, Domingue was strong, made early saves on Gaudette, leading scorer Matt Highmore, who was just sent down by the St. Louis Blues, and Mathias Laferriere. McGing and Kessel tested Domingue. Steve Santini had a quality shot with Mikhail Abramov in front waiting for the rebound. Zac Jones followed with a good stick stop on Santini on his next shift. The Pack’s Bobby Trivigno, Ryan Carpenter, and then Libor Hájek tested Springfield goalie Joel Hofer in the last five minute overtime. In the final minute, with 45.7 seconds left, Hofer stopped Abramov. Cullye had a good chance as time expired in regulation. The second period saw Springfield mount some sustained offensive zone pressure. First, Carpenter had two shots five seconds apart in the first three minutes. He was left muttering to himself and six minutes in Cullye tested Hofer. Springfield Frk, Mitchell Hoelscher, and Peca were in on Domingue. Matt Rempe was in front and was pushed away by Griffin Luce (Salisbury School). Dmitri Samurukov had a quality shot at Domingue. Karl Henriksson, made a smart defensive covering the left point as Carpenter had two shorts five seconds apart in the first three minutes, left muttering to himself. Karl Henriksson made a quality defensive play at the left point, preventing any Springfield breakout and keeping the puck in as Hájek pinched in. The first period felt like a training camp period with the Wolf Pack, as they have had seven players traded over the last 72-hours all finding new addresses. Finding chemistry was going to be tough. Not changing was captain Jonny Brodzinski. At 3:40, the Pack had the first quality shot on goal in a scoreless first period. Matt Robertson from the left point. Hofer stopped Rempe on the Springfield doorstep. At 10:03 the Pack tested Hofer with their tenth shot on goal. Both teams had a powerplay chance, and neither registered a shot on goal. Domingue made a save at 12:57 and at 14:23. Newcomer Jake Leschyshyn had a chance with 1:50 to go in the period. Riding a four-game winning streak, and enduring having their lineup changed during the week. the Wolf Pack were ready for an all-important three-games-in-three-days weekend. The first two games are on the road. On Friday, they head twenty minutes up the road back to Springfield and then an hour South to Bridgeport to meet the Islanders on Saturday. Then, they have a Sunday mid-afternoon clash with the Charlotte Checkers at 3 pm at the XL Center. LINES: Cullye-Brodzinski-Pajuniemi Gettinger-Elson-Carpenter Trivigno- Fritz-Jake Leschyshyn DiGiacinto-Henriksson- Rempe Jones-Hájek Emberson-Robertson Scanlin-Adam Clendening Garand SCRATCHES: Joe Lockwood (healthy) Cooper Zech (healthy) Wyatt Kalynuk (unavailable in transit) Anton Blidh (unavailable in transit) Ben Tardif (healthy) Patrick Khordorenko (season-ending shoulder surgery) C.J. Smith (hip area surgery done for the season) NOTES: Bridgeport's top goal scorers Simon Holmstrom and Otto Koivula were recalled by the big Islanders. They returned Arnaud Durandeau, a notorious Pack killer for the past three years. Winger Collin Adams was recalled from Worcester (ECHL). Calgary Wranglers (AHL) recalled ex-Pack defenseman Tyson Helgesen and ex-Sound Tiger Calder Brooks from Rapid City (ECHL). Goalie Jon Gillies (Salisbury School) goes from Tucson to Cleveland. Hamden’s Jonathan Quick was traded twice this week, first from LA to Columbus, and then Blue Jackets moved him the next day to the Vegas Goldne Knights. Quick (AOF), who won two Stanley Cups with Los Angeles has struggled this year. He was pulled in New York despite two of the three goals not being his fault, and his visible annoyance was shown by the 37-year-old exiting on TV. He flew back with the team at the end of a road trip to LA and then was told he was traded to Columbus. Nick Bonino (Farmington/AOF) was traded from the San Jose Sharks to Pittsburgh. Vladislav Namestnikov, the son of ex-Pack Evegeni “John” Namesnikov, now a Maple Leaf scout was traded from San Jose to Winnipeg. Ex-Pack Sammy Blais who was just traded to St. Louis. He signed a contract extension. Ex-Pack goalie J.F. Berube was recalled then sent back to Charlotte by Florida. Adam Erne, (North Branford) was called up from Grand Rapids by Detroit. Pete DiLiberatore (QU) was recently sent to Savannah (ECHL) by Henderson and was dealt by Vegas to Wilkes Barre/Scranton. Fellow former Bobcat Chase Priskie goes from Rochester to San Diego. Kevin O’Neil (UCONN/Yale) was cut loose by Colorado Eagles (AHL) released from his PTO, and heads back to South Carolina (ECHL). The team also had ex-Pack goalie Keith Kinkaid, who just traded and recalled by the Avalanche. Luke Evangelista was recalled from Milwaukee by parent Nashville. Ex-CT Whale Mike Pelech of the Atlanta Gladiators (ECHL) is officially now the second all-time leader in assists in ECHL history, recording three on the road in Savannah, GA, Thursday night. Former UCONN forward Jordan Timmons was dealt from the Reading Royals (ECHL) to the Kansas City Mavericks (ECHL). HARTFORD WOLF PACK HOME Read the full article

Raccogliere sassi, raccogliere amore

Leeds United: Meslier, Ayling, Firpo (Struijk 81), Koch, Aaronson (Summerville 81), Roca, Bamford (Rodrigo 67), Harrison, McKennie, Gnonto (Kristensen 62), Wober.
Subs not used: Robles, Cooper, Sinisterra, Rutter, Gray. Last season's crazy away win against Wolves proved to be very significant and this one could turn out to be equally important. It was Illan Meslier's 100th Premier League appearance and he's the youngest goalkeeper to have achieved that milestone.... Tyler Adams was injured in training prior to the game, but apart from him, Stuart Dallas and Adam Forshaw are the only senior players who are still on the injury list. Leeds got off to the perfect start with an early goal. Robin Koch found Willy Gnonto on the left, who got behind the Wolves defence and pulled the ball back for Jack Harrison to find the top corner. But Wolves quickly began to boss the possession and created a couple of excellent chances before the break. Meslier managed to stop a low shot from Daniel Podence from inside the box and Max Wober positioned himself well to deny Pedro Neto's follow up. Wober also blocked a powerful goal-bound strike from Nelson Semedo. Wolves had the ball in the Leeds net soon after the restart but the goal was disallowed for a clear offside. A minute later, Leeds were 2-0 up when an unmarked Luke Ayling headed in a corner at the far post, and celebrated just like he did after scoring the winner at Molineux last season. We almost scored a third when Aaronson broke free down the right and pulled the ball back for Harrison, but this time his shot was blocked on the line by Joao Da Silva. It's great to see us using the full width of the pitch once again.... However, we didn't have to wait much longer for goal number three. Rasmus Christensen replaced Gnonto, and his first contribution was to get on the end of a cross from Harrison and put the ball in the net! But then things started to go wrong.... Meslier rushed out of his area to clear a ball over the top and found Marc Roca, but Roca's miscued ball went straight to Jonny Otto, who volleyed it over a retreating Meslier and into the net from close to the half way line. We then spent the next 15 minutes under relentless pressure from Wolves. Meslier stopped a close range shot from Raul Jimenez but was unable to do anything about Matheus Cunha's strike which deflected into the net off Wober's heel.... Fortunately, Leeds managed to settle the game back down and regain some control, and after Jonny was sent off for a nasty challenge on Ayling, we not only managed to see the game out, but scored again in the seventh minute of added time, when Crysencio Summerville found Rodrigo in space and he burst into the box and calmly chipped the ball over the Wolves keeper. More time had to be added on after the Wolves bench (who felt that they should have been awarded a free kick for a foul during the build up) all started throwing their toys out of the pram and Matheus Nunes (one of their unused subs) was shown a straight red card. Just like at Elland Road Leeds were outplayed for long periods of the game but managed to come out on top. It's so tight in the bottom half of the league that we've climbed up to 14th! There's a gap of 11 points between the teams in 11th and 12th place, but only four points separate the bottom nine teams - so any one of them could still end up being relegated....

I am drowning, y’all. Etsy has my shop in a death grip because of one $3 sticker. I can’t access my funds until mid-October.
I’m studying medical coding and trying to get ready for my CPC exam. I can’t afford my bills or supplies for my shop. My bank is in the negatives. I really REALLY don’t want to shut it down. It is my passion. I love drawing. And I love being a shop owner. My soul is crushed right now.
I’d love all my Otto and Jonny homies to come out of the woodwork and share this post, please. Y’all are awesome.

Today’s mix:
INCredible Sound Of Drum'n'Bass Mixed By Goldie by Goldie 2000 Drum n Bass / Jungle
The second disc of this mix is pretty fucking good, but disc one sounds, quite literally, out of this goddamn world. Goldie's first set here is like a portal into some kind of cellar-dwelling, grainy, black-and-white, dystopian underworld where uneasiness is perpetually felt in the air because there's some kind of indescribable chaos that's both unpreventable and unpredictable always lurking around somewhere. I really can't say that I've ever heard a dnb and jungle mix that possesses quite the vibe like the first disc of this mix does. And shit on Goldie's lack of mixing skills all you want, but the absolute frenzy that he's able to cultivate with his transition between Jonny L's "See Red" and Ram Trilogy's "No Reality" is just fucking insane to me. Plus, dude's selection is par excellence; nary a dull moment.
Pandemonious and explosive drum breaks, loud and crashing hi-hats, and malevolently wicked, humming sub-bass frequencies. There's so many cool things you can do with that formula and Goldie's here to show you some of his absolute favorite twists and turns. The INCredible Sound Of Drum'n'Bass (and jungle!), indeed.
Listen to CD1 here. Listen to CD2 here.
Highlights:

Doc Scott - "Here Comes The Drums" Alex Reece - "Pulp Fiction" Digital - "Space Funk" Deep Blue - "Thursday" Doc Scott - "Unofficial Ghost" Jonny L - "See Red" Ram Trilogy - "No Reality" Shy FX - "Bambaata Back To The Core (Dillinja Remix)" Fresh & Vegas - "Otto's Way" Grooverider - "Rainbows Of Colour" Souljah - "Fade 2 Black"
