what’s amazing about getting attached to a rare-ish pairing is that there are only like twenty (20) fics but all of them are the most extraordinary, talented, well-written masterpieces and you suddenly feel infinitely blessed to exist in this world

Got to play Bendy: Secrets of the Machine!
Gonna be completely honest? It's okay.
The scares are real good and my husband got concerned by my screaming. But it's short. Like "thank God it's free" short. I did like it, and what secrets I saw were either frikkin silly or interesting.
I do think that it would've been better if released on April 1st. Yes, 414 and all that, but this would've been a better April Fool's prank than... Hell, I don't know what they did this year.

Is it just me who’s still thinking about this vision panel?
Tumblr media
Because we have not seen this in Tomura’s memories. The family died outside. At first I thought it could be the panel where Tenko vomits and grabs the hands from the table, but. he’s clearly covered in blood. And its definitely not the scene where Tenko kills those street bullies
Like, I know it could just easily be something Hori changed the details of, that he decided to go with killing the family off outside instead of any other setting and for some reason this panel just stayed as it was but...
I kind of find it hard to believe that Hori would do that, just because of how much has been put into Tomura’s character and his story. It’s possible Hori changed his mind, and it’s possible this actually means something
So I can only think of two things this could mean (changing mind aside)
- Tenko’s memories of the garden are fake. He either killed them inside the house or watched as somebody else killed them
Or
- This is a different memory. Tenko did in fact kill his family in the garden, but this is either a memory that happened earlier before the garden, or later after the garden (sometime around when AFO took him in?)
Another thing to note is that Tenko’s clothes are different here. He seems to be wearing a light-colored shirt and shorts. But when he kills his family in the flashback
Tumblr media
He’s wearing a black shirt
Also, the light-colored shirt is stained in blood, but the black shirt doesn’t seem to have any kind of blood on it (might just be disguised because of the color but idk)
Anyway I know the circumstances could have just been changed, I can’t remember if Hori has ever said anything about that, but if not and this is purposeful, then it could mean some things aren’t what they seem

Okay, here are some of my thoughts on the Jwcc Hidden Adventure. Don't want this to be too long so I'll just give overall thoughts.
First off, its good to be back! I knew I missed these kids but oh boy- seeing them interact and exchange new dialogue made me realize how much I missed these kids. Given how potentially limiting these type of interactive episodes can be I believe they did the characterizations very well. How the campers would react and what they would say felt right, for the most part, which I'm glad because that was one of my concerns.
As for the storyline/plot, I thought it was great. Searching for food fits within the story and is a struggle I was definitely interested in seeing. Made me intrested in potentially more interactive episodes that just focused on the campers adjusting and problem solving.
Now, this was actually a total blast and I had fun even if I was constantly worried and stressed for the well being of these campers. The timer going down as you're pressured to make a choice NOW was so good. Darius has to deal with too much, I can't handle it. I hear there's three endings but I've only gone through two so far, the one were they all enter the bunker and the one where a few go get the food and then they all run back to camp. Those were nice and I love the little drum roll.
All in all, this was a great addition to the show and I wouldn't mind if they did more of these.

Things have been tough lately. Watching the world burning has been horrendous. Seeing people being absolutely evil has been demoralising. But if there's anything I learned from Terry Prachett it is that anger is alright. Anger motivates and keeps you on track when you see unjust things happen. So I'll stay angry because a clever man in a funny hat, who has taught me many things, was angry and used that anger for good.

My life has been medical since I was a literal toddler. I am reliant on medical care of all sorts. And always will be. Of course I have the opinions i do regarding the demedicalization of medical experiences. I am the severe case that generally is an outlier. I've always been seeing professionals and taking medications and all sorts of shit. I need these things to survive and it bothers me when people try to take them away or make them harder to access.

Am i the only one who doesn’t get the hype for Sidon? Like all I see is an obnoxious fish man. I neither hate nor love him and idk I just don’t get what’s so great about him.

tw: Examples of reblog bait/people trying to guilt others into reblogging stuff. I am not actually saying the things below, they're just examples that I have seen.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I fucking hate when people say stuff like this. Especially when it's on a generally good post with valuable information. On the one hand I want to share that information because it could genuinely help someone; on the other, I don't want to spread this type of guilt-tripping and shaming and potentially trigger someone else like me. It's a lose-lose situation. No matter what I do, I am going to feel guilty. No matter what I do, I will feel like a terrible person. It sucks and I just wish people would stop doing this. I know it's shocking, but it is actually possible to make an important and useful post without guilting everyone that sees it into sharing.

thinking about how the extra area added on to a pacifist run of undertale, the true lab, is about alphys's past mistakes. how it ends with the story reaffirming that, despite the pain she's caused, the thing that matters is that she has now made the choice to do the right thing. she's still worthy of her friends' love.
thinking about how undertale doesn't expect the player to get a pacifist ending for the first time. how it's more likely than not that the player will kill toriel the first time they battle her, how lots of players don't initially figure out how to end undyne's fight without killing her, etc. what it expects — not even expects, really, but hopes — is that the player, if they care enough, will use their canonically acknowledged power over time to make up for those mistakes.
no matter how many neutral runs a player has done before committing to the pacifist run, the thing that matters to the characters, to the story, is that you've chosen, now, to do the right thing.
compared to alphys, the player honestly gets off lightly, in that you're the only one (other than flowey) who really remembers any harm you might have caused. and any direct guilting the game could have done about it is long past at this point. instead, as undertale often does, it makes its point via parallels: alphys caused harm, and she knows it. she has committed to being better. in doing so, she has unlocked for herself a better ending to her story. and she deserves it. she's forgiven.
those structural narrative parallels are all over undertale, if you know where to look. and that's one of the things that makes it so fuckin' good.

Laois from Dungeon Meshi legit feels like someone said the generic blond main character guy in a fantasy story can never actually be an interesting character in his own right and Ryoko Kui went, “Oh, bet?”

so the occurrence that almost every woman was sexually harrassed by a man at some point in her life is just a cluster of a few individual experiences that you cannot formulate any general conclusions based on BUT a few reddit porn addicted losers not having a girlfriend assigned to them as soon as they're born or being rejected by three girls in middle school is a world scale epidemic that gets its own name, psychologists and media and useless video essayists devoted to finding out what its causes are and to figuring out how to solve it, and every woman is now responsible for solving it. i love living in this world i am totally not chewing on my arm right now!
