1) Chris/Thara: they would in a beachside home on the coast in the state Metropolis is within. Thara really appreciates the sunrise of the coast line while in turn Chris really likes how the moon looks at night when it reflects in the ocean water.

Jake/Meredith: Also Their own home; semi canonically at the very end of New Order, Jake and his family were living some suburbs of either Gotham or Bludhaven so it’s not hard to believe that Jake and Meredith might do the same in this timeline

2) Upon learning Jake is Skybird, she very quickly and correctly deduces that his family are Starfire, Nightwing and Nightstar respectively while his Uncle Tim is Robin but for the first two years, that’s where he knowledge would stop, until she builds enough trust and good word of mouth from Jake to the others to start learning over time. For instance it was until she was 13 she finally learned that his adoptive Grandpa Bruce was indeed the Batman and not that Bruce Wayne was living in Batman’s attic.

3) Chris introduced the Twins to both Mar’i and Jake almost about two weeks after Mon El and then arrived back on Earth after that big huge battles at Warworld. Almost immediately they actually all got along with the Twins especially so curious and full of questions about the Graysons and their Tamaranean heritage and customs.

4) Hmm….

For the whole family, I envision a long (about in the real world a half a year to one year long, biweekly scheduling in place) story arc having them travel throughout the stars putting on a space based circus tour, a sort of new intergalactic branch of Haly’s, running into many new friends and foes with the backdrop of sharing both Earthen and Tamaranean culture. Along the way, the family can have many encounters with not just the standard Blackfire and Wildfire but also maybe other space bound characters and teams in the DCU including but not limited to Adam Strange, Lobo, L.E.G.I.O.N, Planet Thanagar aka the planet Hawkman’s Nth Metal originated from, and maybe even a resident Green Lantern or two that pass by them (Ideally, Jessica Cruz and/or Tai Pham). The arc culiminates with The Graysons and their allies banding together and fending off a grand scale attack on Planet Tamaran itself and once successful, the epilogue sees that branch of the Circus give one last Grand Performance for the tour with the Flying Graysons as the headline act.

5) One day, Clark’s powers are starting to go haywire and out of control. The solar energy in his systems are overloading and threatening to cause him to explode. What’s worse though is that this explosion would be equivalent to a supernova which in way, through no fault of his own, Clark has the entire solar system and even the galaxy held hostage. Meanwhile, the anti alien Blue Earth Movement has gained unfortunate legitimacy with its representative being elected as President with vows to supposedly protect the Human race from any alien threat and place them as the superior species, no doubt having an ally in Lex Luthor. It’s a matter of the family trying to find ways to prevent Clark’s impending demise and save their world from not just that supernova but from in a way itself, especially as Blue Earth aligned super villains and even alien cosmic threats converge on our heroes, making their tasking all the harder. It’ll put their bonds and connections with each other to the test, not necessarily on how well they get along though that can certainly be all over but moreso on if it’ll be enough to overpower these great threats in their horizon. Minor Spoilers, Clark indeed survives his power overload and the Earth is safe there though the consequences would still linger afterwards

Now I've seen the sweets villain AU a million times but it didn't actually grow on me completely until I saw @trashmansketches art of him and then I was like "Oh...oh yeah I get it now, oh my god do I get it."

Private Art Collection One, otherwise known by the public PAC1, is one of the largest museums in the northern hemisphere. Thousands of paintings line the walls while decades old statues are everywhere you turn. If any piece of historical art is ever found, it will be in PAC1 within 10 years.

With all that art inside, PAC1 also has the largest security system on the planet, only second to the White House. When money isn't spent on buying priceless masterpieces for cheap, it goes to updating the system.

There are a minimum of five cameras per room, two guards at every doorway all day and all night, and some of the most sensitive alarms hooked to each painting. If any are touched, even just by a finger, alarms start blaring and the police are immediately phoned. As a side note, children under the age of 15 are not permitted in PAC1. There even are rumors that they also have a laser grid across the floor at night. In theory, the place is impossible to rob.

Luckily, Kara loves to test theories.

because I can, here’s some more detail abt my fprc headcanons for the higher-up hierarchy!! (I’m sorry I’m putting this in relation to fahc if you’re not familiar with fahc, but they’re related in my universe so it’s the best frame of reference I have)

Tay and Kara share Boss responsibilities like Trevor has; Kara manages all the intelligence and sends people out on all the small missions and jobs fprc runs, while Tay knows everyone and bullies them into better job performance, and helps set up crews for larger missions. when people get sent to meet The Boss, it’s basically always Tay.

Chilled is the spokesman for the whole crew; basically the Kingpin role. he’s the one who finds recruits, negotiates with contacts, and generally does all the legwork that Tay and Kara don’t have time for and don’t trust anyone else to do. he’s also the only person who’s recognized outside their circle of contacts, as he’s the only person who’s ever been officially tied to the fprc (and that was a mistake). everyone knows him, and he’s the reason most of the fprc exists.

Ze is Chilled’s right-hand man, think Jack in fahc with a side of Michael and a little Gavin. he can do some negotiations on his own, and he will, especially if someone has beef with Chilled specifically, but he prefers to play support and keep an eye on the people around whoever Chilled is meeting with to protect him (and sometimes to protect Chilled from himself). he also alternately eggs Chilled on and prevents him from getting them too deep in shit so together they’re a menace of a team.

Just seeing the recent panels of Absolute Power #2… I just feel there’s unnecessary trauma dumping for Jon at this point.

Manchester Black was one thing, but Ultraman and now Lady Braniac & Amanda Waller is unnecessary… is this really the only way to keep Jon relevant and interesting????

I’m not denying there are fans of Jon even in his current rendition but the fact that most fans still to this day and even prior to Absolute Power or whenever DC “reboots” their comics… were hoping for the age-up to be erased or maybe even bring in a multiversal! version of younger Jon says a lot.

And for those fans arguing pre-ages up Jon fans only want him young due to his relationship to Damian…look I can somewhat sympathize.

I can’t speak for everyone one but yes I admit I was familiar with Jon due to the hype of Supersons. I’m sure most fans were probably aware of Jon because of SS but went back to check out his origins.

And as much as I adore Damian and Jon and their relationship with one another….I was complete ready for Jon to do his own thing separately from Damian.

I didn’t want Jon to be attached to the hip with Damian to stay revenant. Both deserve to figure out who they are as people and what type of hero they want to be (or if they want to)

We could have had Jon explore his Kyptonian heritage from his dad or Kara. Actually have a sibling/nephew(?) relationship with Kon.

Ground level stories of his interactions among the people of Metropolis or Hamilton (I guess Smallville even)

Dealing with the frustrations of hiding parts of him, the weight of being Superman…etc.

Maybe form a superhero team of his owe with Kathy or other space related hero’s (ex: Tai Pham) that deals with cosmic related stuff.

Basically Jon deserved better in terms of storytelling and we barely scratched the surface with DC deciding to crash course it.

Whoever you are… I love you.

I agree with absolutely all of this, my only thing is that I personally think that as long as DC is doing something interesting to Jon that makes his character nuanced then I don’t really care, they can throw in a bunch of ideas and see what sticks, it’s the only way with how much of a mess he is right now, we are still so early in his development that I don’t know what to expect.

But I can’t wait for his character to find some stable ground and get some themes in his stories that compel me like they once did. They were extremely close to ruining Jon Kent for me forever but… I can be won over I think. Absolute Power seems promising, I want to see what they do before I start judging.

Okay, for the WIP titles meme: Sun Salutation? 👀

Ahhh I'm so excited you asked about that one because that fic is going to be about Kara and Torquasm-Rao, which is basically Kryptonian Tai Chi! I'm sad because I haven't been able to find anything about Torquasm-Rao after the President Luthor run. I have no idea what direction the show is going to take Kara in, but I love using MAWS Clark's complete and utter ignorance of all things Kryptonian as a springboard for how that world is shaped. Also I have some very specific ideas about Kara. She is ANGERY.

“I know you are there, Kal,” Kara’s voice was clear, but she moved through English the same way you’d move through a crowd at the airport when you heard someone coughing: unwillingly, angrily, and a bit hurriedly. She glanced over her shoulder at him, languidly pulling herself up and out of the pose to turn and face him. It took Clark a minute to find much in common between their faces, but Ma said you could see it in the eyes and nose right away. But I don’t look that angry, do I? Clark thought to himself. “I just…” Clark shuffled his feet a little, “Do you do this every day?” Kara just looked at him steadily for a few seconds. “I did not used to,” she said slowly, “I should have.” She glanced down for a second before taking two steps to her right, “Here. Follow my movements.” “Oh, you don’t have to—” Clark started. “I have to,” she said, looking at him with deadly seriousness. She motioned to a spot diagonally behind her, and Clark sheepishly took his place. How could a 15-year-old be so authoritative? Was it some kind of unconscious conditioning of his forgotten infancy on Krypton? She did say she changed his diapers (“Which was stupid and disgusting,” she had  said at the time, “Kelex was more than capable, or it wouldn’t have even been an issue if they put you in a postnatal matrix like everyone else, but Uncle Jor and Aunt Lara kept going on about the importance of physical touch and bonding and they would keep sniffing you. It was weird. They were weird. But you were kind of cute. I guess.” And then she would look at him just a little too long and her face would drop and she would be very quiet for a long time). But then… that authority also felt like something he always scratched the surface of, as Superman. The way people looked at him, looked to him, and all of a sudden he had to rise to that expectation after being so used to eyes glazing past him as Clark Kent. It seemed incredibly natural for her.

My vision of Krypton is mostly influenced by the YA "House of El" graphic novel (which admittedly models itself mostly on Snyder's vision of Krypton but look HEAR ME OUT) and my Kara backstory is pretty much taken entirely from the Tom King Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow run. I like conceptualizations of Krypton that have the capacity to be very warm and human, as we saw in the original Superman TAS, but culturally they're so technologically reliant and so convinced of the perfection of their society that on the whole that you really have more cultural expectation than actual warmth and community, and they don't see the doom that's coming--except Argo City, of course. Also I remember someone commenting on a post of mine a while back that Jor and Lara were perceived as hippie freaks by Kryptonian standards, so I like the idea of playing around with that.

I actually wanted to write something on it for the pr1 month, but ended up writing the "Bulletproof Bonds" instead.

But here's a little snippet from this file:

“Is either of them back yet?” Kara asked, her voice lacking patience. “They went AFK like half an hour ago!”

“Tay, do you have admin?”

“Yeah. I’ll just move them down to the sleep zone.”

“Oh my god, my dads are sleeping together.”

[Tom checks on Ze, Tay writes to Jess; turns out, the two actually fell asleep at their desks]

There's really no end goal here, just an idea.

Schlossbesitzer Alex und sein Landschaftsgärtner Niko :)

Sie haben mehr als ein Mal eine heftige Diskussion darüber, in welche Form Niko bestimmte Hecken und Büsche schneiden soll und welche Farben die Blumen haben, die er anpflanzen soll und Niko brüllt irgendwann sehr genervt: "Du kannst es doch eh nicht sehen!" - "Ja aber andere schon!" - "Hier kommt doch eh niemand hin!" etc.

Niko fragt sich sehr lange, warum Alex allein in so einem riesen Kasten und so zurückgezogen lebt. Er will aber auch nicht direkt fragen, weil Alex wahlweise defensiv oder aggressiv wird, wenn es um ihn und seine Vergangenheit geht. Niko stochert natürlich trotzdem rum und ist angemessen schockiert, als er die Umstände um Alex' Erblindung und Karas Tod herausfindet.

Danach ist er Alex gegenüber ein bisschen nachgiebiger und macht sich Gedanken über die Gartengestaltung für einen Blinden. Er kauft stark duftende Pflanzen, welche mit interessanten Texturen und legt einen verschlungenen Barfußpfad für Alex an. Alex ist so gerührt von der Geste, dass er im ersten Moment fast losmeckert und fragt, was das soll. Das hier ist schließlich kein Rehazentrum. Er besinnt sich aber rechtzeitig, weil er merkt, dass das wirklich nett von Niko ist - wirkliches Interesse an ihm und seinem Leben. Er umarmt den sehr perpelexen Niko stattdessen.

Alex hat einen designated Tai-Chi Spot im Garten. Vielleicht legt er zusammen mit Niko so einen japanischen Steingarten an, in den er komplexe Muster harkt und dann ganz versunken seine Übungen macht. Und Niko stützt sich auf seinen Rechen und schaut Alex ganz versonnen dabei zu.
