However Josuke noticed Darling only shows interest in Horror Movies and Slashers, so what better way to get the girl of his dreams than by becoming a real life slasher himself?

I’ve been watching Slasher Movies on loop, including delicious plot twists so what if Darling is Kira’s daughter? (She doesn’t know about his hand fetish or about him being a serial killer) She doesn’t have interest being in the spotlight like her dad (This can be scrapped if you want)

Ooh this is so interesting I had to start writing. I ended up writing a prologue.

I'm going to set the main part of the story a couple of years post DIU (mainly to age up) but the prologue takes place just before with reader being 14/15.

Still thinking about the stand. Possibly being a stand that almost looks like a phone dangle charm on her phone that sometime gives out rules in the form of a text for a set amount of time (anywhere from an hour to 24). It's one of those self destructive stands (not literally but it's always screwing with darling).

Really loved the Kira daughter idea, writing that darling knows and is actively trying to hide it after his "death". In a way she ends up paralleling him with her need to hide it as it previously ruined her life back in marioh cho.

You looked at the address you'd written down before knocking on the door. Your lucky your friend had offered up the cover of a sleepover to your grandparents as they'd be furious to find out what you were doing, but you needed closure on the matter.

There was a car in the driveway so you knew he was home so you knocked on the door again. Who exactly? Your father.

You'd never met him in person as from what you knew him and your mother had been at odds over the idea. So the most he did was sign his name on your birth certificate before the relationship had ended. About a year after your mother had visited him to try and rekindle the relationship only to disappear.

You snapped out of your thoughts when the door opened. He was definitely the same man that your mother had stashed photos of.

Blonde hair, blue eyes and sharp features.

He was probably wondering why some random middle schooler was at his door.

“Mr Kira?” You asked.

“Yes, that is me,” he told you. You looked oddly familiar but he couldn't quite put his finger on as to why. You quickly held out a paper bag, you'd gone to the effort to buy him a castella cake as a sign of good will.

“My name is (Y/n) Kira, I was hoping we could talk” you told him. He took the bag but he had a scrutinizing look.

“Is this about your mother's disappearance? I already told your grandparents all I knew” he asked.

Of course he lied, he simply told them that she'd left his house. In truth she never had but back then the villas hadn't been developed yet so no one was around to discredit his claim. Yet your grandparents had not believed such a claim.

“No, I wanted to meet you” you said and immediately he began to close the door before you wedged your foot between the door and the frame.

“I'm not asking anything of you, after this we can just go our separate ways… I promise” you said, desperation in your tone.

He sighed before opening the door again.

“Just this once, if I ever see you here after I'll call the police” he warned you as he stepped aside to let you in.

You came in and left your shoes on the shoe rack before following him into the living area. You sat down on the cushion behind the low table.

“Tea?” he asked.

“Yes please Mr Kira” you responded with a nod. You looked around as you waited. This was definitely one of the older houses in Morioh cho. tatami mats, sliding doors and hanging lights. Probably made around the 50s/60s like your grandparent's. Most of the houses in the town now were around tenish years old at most.

Soon he brought some cups and a teapot before sitting down himself and pouring the tea.

“So why did come here? I thought your grandparents would have been completely against you coming here?” He asked.

“I found some of my mothers belongings. After reading her diary I was hoping to get your side of the story, if you're comfortable with that?” you told him.

“Well I suppose you should know” he said with a sigh. Your gaze was just like hers and a small part of him was terrified by that, that dead woman's stare haunted him.

You rummaged through your school bag before grabbing out a piece of paper full of questions you jotted down.

He told himself to think of this like how he would any other interview. The sooner he answers your questions the sooner you'd leave.

“So first off, mom wrote down that you two were in the same homeroom in highschool when you two met” you said.

“Yes, she was seated next to me. I hadn't realized she'd had feelings for me til Valentine's day” he told you.

“Why'd you accept?” You asked. Now that was a hard question to answer. He'd been shaken after killing Reimi, a girl from the same school. He'd tried to keep his urges in check. After your mother had confessed her feelings to him he believed that if he'd had a partner maybe he'd have no need to ever do it again and she happened to have a lovely pair of hands. His eyes couldn't help but drift to yours. They were quite pretty too, he noticed the light polish on them and spoke up.

“I thought the schools had a no polish policy” he told you. You rolled your eyes, you'd painted such a similar shade to your skin hoping no one would notice.

For a while you continued to ask him questions. Until you inevitably asked why he and your mother broke up.

Another tough question, he had many reasons. He'd realized that his plan to keep his desires in check wasn't working, not to mention your mother's pregnancy had caused issues. He'd swore up and down he'd worn protection. At first he believed your mother had cheated but that was disproven. He never heard the end of it when his mother found out. She believed her son wouldn't have ever done something like that and demanded your mother have an abortion if true. In truth he'd silently wished for the same but your mother was headstrong and was determined to keep the child.

Eventually he'd decided to break up with her and at least fill out the birth certificate but that was it.

“It was complicated, in honesty my feelings for her washed away and when we found out she was pregnant, both our families had a feud over it. We decided it was best that I wouldn't be in the picture… I also wasn't ready for a child in my life” he explained, his eyes gazing upon his tea.

“Thank you Mr Kira” you thanked him, you knew these were hard questions so you appreciated that he gave you the answers. At this point he couldn't help but have questions of his own, as he couldn't quite figure out what type of person you were.

“May I ask you a few questions of my own? nothing too personal” he asked.

“Of course, it's only fair after all that I've asked you”

“What after-school club are you in?” That was probably the best way to gauge the person you were.

“Oh I'm in a book club” you replied, that was the same club he'd been in when he was younger.

“You like to read?” He asked.

“Kinda, in truth it was the only club that gave me privacy. My media interests are more on movies but reading the original sources are always fun” you confessed.

“Any plans after highschool?” He asked.

“I'm not entirely sure, I do want to do university but I'm unsure of what course to take” you told him with a sigh.

“You'll figure it out in time, I only decided what I was going to do during my last year” he told you.

It wasn't long after that you left. To go to your friend's to watch movies over the weekend. They had a large collection of horror movies that your grandparents would never allow you to watch.

Unfortunately your life would never be the same after your father's true nature became public news. Forcing you and your grandparents to have to start a new life away from Marioh cho.

Honestly same for me. I didn't realize I'd like her this much when I was anticipating the show because when I'd watched the pilot, Charlie was the one I was simping for. I still really really like Charlie, but Vaggie is iiiiieeeeeeee

The change in her outfit helped. That skirt is super flattering lol I also like that she mellowed down a lil compared to the pilot. And her devotion to Charlie is just so swoon worthy. everyone hates her for it, but i totally love characters who are super devoted to their lovers when either said lover is a baddie(ex. Gomez for Morticia) or is an absolute sweetheart (Marcille for Falin in Dungeon Meshi). If the person their down bad for barely even appreciates them(like. Idk. A certain duo in the titan anime), then it's just frustrating. But Charlie is such a sweetheart, Vaggie being so in love with her makes so much sense, and is such a sweet contrast to the fact that she's so taciturn with everyone else. It's great!!

I think i probably started really liking her when she had her song in ep 3. The line "I'll be your armor" is simultaneously swoon worthy testament of her love, a good way to show Vaggie's personal flaws, and a nice way to look back on and realize how she went from being a killer to being a protector and how awesome that is. I just love her, man

The next video he sees of young Robu and his mother in a kayak, paddling around on the water- which is beautiful. The young Robu had been babbling- from the way the video started- the young Robu had spotted something and was waving his hand as his mother gently, almost nervously babbled to him to careful and quiet.

"There are whales about Robu, honey." She murmurs, both sounding excited, awed, and terrified at the same time.

Why does he hear human speech coming from the whale?

"Yes, we must be still and quiet baby." his mother retorts as the video tracks one of the whales, a massive black and white form as it glides effortlessly, and massive in form under the water.

The whale breaches the water and glides closer to the boat- very close, the mother murmuring something under her breath that he can't quite hear as the whale lets out trilling, whistling calls.

He can almost understand what the Whale and the Boy are saying. But his ears start to bleed and he claws at his face and begs for it to stop.

The little boy- fearless little Robu babbles at the whale, as it inches closer to the boat and mother. For one of the rare times, the Historitor also hears a male voice rumble in the background.

"Yes sir- we shall move the boats away from the whale carefully." He hears someone, a servant of some kinds says in McCraggian.

The little boy is leaning closer to the water, reaching out a tiny hand towards the whale, which follows closer, and closer to the boat. The camera is jostled as his mother scoops up the boy and backs away from the edge of the water and the boat.

If the whale gets to close to the boat it he willl try and steal the boy.

The whale lets out a loud trilling call at that, and the small child lets out a little call- the words the boy say are lost as the video cuts off. That was. Strange. Some whales could be curious and friendly around humans, while others could be downright hostile.

For some reason, his heart is pounding, his palms are sweating and he rubs them against his pants as he closes his eyes and shakes his head a little.

That had been a very close call. Things could have been a lot worse.

That had been a good interaction between humans and whales. With how large and powerful whales could be, that had been very gentle and safe interaction.

At first he had thought the whale had been an Orca-like creature, but he'd researched whale types and their subtypes across the galaxy and found out that it was a type of false-killer whale.

hey, it's me, the anon that left the ask about studying Native American history and cultural appropriation. Thanks for the book recommendations, I've added them all to my to-read list.

It's crazy how much people seem to dislike the topic of history I've chosen, but you genuinely helped so much. Definitely reassured me. I've also bought bury my heart at wounded knee which is a *bit* outdated but was the first book I bought on the topic so I always think of it fondly, and another called Blood and Land, and also one called a Century of Dishonour, which was written in the 1880s (very outdated in areas but also. definitely against the government policies). I'm also trying to expand my reading horizons from what happened in the 19th century USA.

(Btw, wasn't Killers of the Flower Moon turned into a film recently starring Leonardo di Caprio?? I wondered if you'd watched it. I would like to find some more modern films/tv shows with good indigenous rep - I watched Annie Get Your Gun a while back but frankly it was shit. I want to purge it from my mind).

Yes I am very excited for the movie to come out, and there’s nothing wrong with outdated books besides biases told by the white people at the time, you gotta be picky and not take everything at face value. I read so many old books and university papers of recounts of native history and it’s kind of an art to describe them and the bs some of them say and the crab meat of truth you’re trying to find. Or like by proxy of growing up and hearing stories, and then using those accounts to figure out "oh that’s what they mean" or "Oh they mean this thing not that, they mixed it up." Cultural and language mistranslations are just so prevalent.

Then here’s some movie and video recommendations, I’ll just say with Wind River and Bury my heart again be kinda thoughtful about them. Bury my heart has like this Hollywood kinda atmosphere, more cinematic it’s a great movie but it’s also based on events and they kinda dramatized some. Gives me the same feeling of "woman who walks ahead." Still great movies and a great way to get a feel for thing that happened back then. I really love news of the world too especially what they show with the buffalo and little girl, but I really wish they hired a native actress, it’s true that adoption of any race of people happened a lot in tribes but the representation of native kids in Hollywood is nonexistent and I think these movies would be so much better portraying native head leads. With Wind River if Jeremy renner and Elizabeth Olsen where switched out with native leads the plot would be so much richer. Like a city native and Rez native story would be so good. Movies that greatly follow white leads or have white characters for the yt audience to attach to just limits the movie for me.

First off, we keep talking about there being a Final Girl, but why is everyone so sure that there will be one? I could see more people surviving or the story going in a different direction entirely. Where does this conviction come from?

Then, I’m on board with the idea of hallucinations, but one thing that always bothers me is the question of how you could make sure that they all hallucinate the very same thing? I don’t know how hallucination-inducing drugs work, but that seems kind of weird to me.

Also, who is Tan and who is Perth again? This is such a dumb question, but I’m terrible with names and faces, and I know most of the characters now, but I keep mixing up these two.

This is Perth but it is unknown who he is playing in the series. He was only in the background of this scene in the dark jacket with the grey shirt.

As for the other questions, unfortunately, I cannot help you because unlike the rest of these perfectly normal people watching Dead Friend Forever, I'm crazy.

Which brings me to your drugs question - The vibes are off!

I think that Non is still alive and running around scaring them all, so not everything is because of the drugs, but if the energy isn't right, if the mood isn't chill, if the vibe isn't good, the drugs are going to hit different. The figurative trip will be bad. So if the literal trip involves the boys talking about Non and seeing videos of Non while they run through the woods for their lives, whatever drugs are in their system aren't going to be happy in a body with that amount of stress, and their brain will focus on Non and the masked killer. In fact, a common side effect of most party drugs is paranoia.

Hell, even some known prescriptions for depression and anxiety can cause these side effects.

Then again, I just do drugs. I don't know the actual science behind them, but I do know if the vibes ain't right, you're not gonna have a good night.

RM may have brought me to BTS but it didn’t take long for the Jimin effect to hit me. So I was paying alot of attention to him. And what happens when u stalk a specific member? Within no time u get a ship video. And that’s how I came across Yoonmin and boom! I was a Yoonminer. But I wouldn’t say I was that faithful to the ship because have you watched Jihope sexual tension videos? I’m sorry but they are 🔥🔥 completely out of context but still very well done. Also Jihope used to be the kings of fanservice so there is plenty of content.

I watched all Jimin ships and YouTube never once recommended me Jikook. Which is really weird. But then one day I saw “Jikook analysis" and it was by Mizgator and we all know how good and thorough she is. At first I was like; now what is a Jikook and why an analysis? But then Jimin was on the thumbnail so of course I clicked.

Mizgator made me believe in Jikook. I binge watched all her stuff and I couldn’t believe my eyes. And it was all so juicy and interesting I couldn’t stop. After I was done with her I looked for more and more and more until I had seen all Jikook analyses You tube had to show me.

That’s when I rewatched ITS and Bon Voyage with the eyes of a shipper and it was all there. I felt so dumb like; how did I not see it before?!

So sometimes I understand these antis and ot7 assholes. Because if you’re not looking for it, u certainly will not see it.

And its krazy because Jikook are like right in your face. The satellite/teleport thing is not even subtle. From both of them, not just JK.

Anyway, I joined a discord with like minded people who continued to point out things all the analyses I had watched didn’t pick up on. And I started noticing things too when rewatching everything. Its fun to rewatch stuff with a Jikook lense because they really are obvious guys. Its fascinating.

Anyway, all this is to say I am not like other people who say the following moments opened their eyes.

Vanny would be a true-crime obsessed freak failwoman who gets a little bit too invested in the missing childrens incident and mr afton as a result. she is homocidal. and unwell. after months (possibly years or more) of being obsessed with william and the murders, she sees that the pizzaplex is hiring, and takes her chance!

So. Security breach. My first course of action would be to solve the glamrock issue-If theres no glitchtrap, theres no reason to be aggressive. my solution to this is making it so they have a night mode where they try and find any patrons still in the building after closing time and alert the security guard ((think of all the vloggers posting WE STAYED OVERNIGHT IN THE PIZZAPLEX!?!?!?! Now, going back to the missing kids, i like to imagine shes a bit of a freak and hasnt stuffed any of the bodies into the suits yet because she wants to wait until she has enough victims and then do it all at once. Gregory will either see blood or smell a corpse in the vanny hideout, and manage to escape through a vent. from here, the game will take place in the dark. vanny will peek around corners and from railings, always watching you but never quite catching up except for some chase sequences because she likes toying with her prey [which will eventually be her downfall]. You try to avoid her and the animatronics.

Glamrock freddy is a problem. I dont want the glamrocks to be as sentient as they currently are, so i think making them be a sort of shitty chatgpt AI would work wonderfully. It means that glamfred could be very, very, very unhelpful at times, and would leave room for uncanny interactions as well as funny ones, which fnaf is sort of known for. the funnies. the sillies. the jokes. the "dont poop on the floor"s. He would be programmed to protect children above all else, however, so he isn't in night mode like the others are.

In security breach, theres a really fucking good cut plotline about glamrock freddy. After getting all of his upgrades, when vanny disassembles him, he turns against gregory, and becomes an antagonist. i cannot stress enough that this USED TO BE IN THE GAME. we have lines of gregory crying and shit. i would 100% keep this in the SB rewrite. its at this point he would shift into night mode instead of just succumbing to the mind control stuff like before. thatd happen either about 2/3rds of the way through or halfway, with a few stretches of time where freddy either isnt cooperating or is unavailable like in the OG game beforehand

outside of that, i would make the pizzaplex smaller, grimier, and dingier. not the same levels as fnaf 1 of course, but the only super clean areas would be like. the atrium and dining areas. fazbear ent is neglectful and unsafe, the vents and rooms patrons dont go into typically arent gonna be super clean. the kitchens probably only get cleaned when they know a health inspector is coming. lets be real

id also love a heavier focus on liminal space sort of enviornments in the pizzaplex. its an empty 80s themed mall! its the perfect setting for it! they kinda sorta did it in the daycare, but didnt fully commit, and id LOOOVE more areas like that, because in the dark theyd be 100000x more unsettling. the only lighting would be very dim neon lighting for ambience and a flashlight i imagine, maybe one on gregorys fazwatch

i dont have a lot of plot points rounded out overall, just some concepts id throw in there, and i especially dont have an ending planned out. ive never been too big on the sci-fi elements fnaf took on around SL and the release of the books (been a fan the whole 9 years!), so trying to figure out an ending that would lean into ruin and making ruin....not like that . would be a whole. Task. a fun task, but a task nonetheless. i do like ruin quite a bit unlike SB, but it wouldnt mesh well with everything else i have going on here and would be bit out of left field i thinks

What do you do if you really like a character, but then they do something highly triggering, and then it changes your entire perspective of them? And yet, you still want to be with them? I was having a real good time coming up with fluffy stories for my OC and Patrick for a full week now. But then I foolishly watched the deleted scenes yesterday without asking my friend to check the video to see if it had any triggering content… and I liked the scenes very much, except the one with Courtney. That scared the shit out of me. I have had a personal experience of being sexually assaulted and hit in the bedroom without consent, so seeing Patrick kind of yank Courtney around and yell at her, and roughly pull out, hurting her, it definitely triggered me and I was stress vomiting afterwards for a few hours. And today I woke up and I still cannot stop thinking about it. I felt really, really good with Patrick up until I watched that yesterday, and I am so shaky and nauseous just remembering it. It just keeps replaying in my head, despite me trying to stop thinking about it. I believe the director commented that they deleted that scene and replaced it instead with the scene where Patrick and Courtney are simply talking after they had slept together, where she’s just feeling depressed and saying “if you don’t call before Easter, have a nice one” or something like that, I am paraphrasing. But it didn’t imply any violence had occurred beforehand, at least I really hope not

I know Patrick is awful. I know he’s horrible. I know he is the worst, I did this to myself by liking him in the first place. I feel very stupid when I vent about this to my friends, they’re like “well… just don’t ship your OC with him if it bothers you. I want to feel comfortable with him, I like him. I wanted to ship my OC with him very badly, and I still do! I know he’s fictional, I shouldn’t be overthinking this, but I feel so shaky and unsafe when I think about him now. I feel heartbroken like I’m going through a breakup, as silly as that sounds, because I have been really looking forward to making this character someone fun to write about. I keep reminding myself it was just a deleted scene, he didn’t really hurt Courtney in bed, but god… it was jarring to see it happening regardless. I know he does these things in the book, I know he’s despicable, but I really wanted to hope that movie!patrick could be someone I could potentially try testing the waters with. Like the anon you answered recently, I have also had a poor experience shipping with villains and I am trying to reclaim that for myself. Jesus, it's such an honor to hear people say that I know Patrick very well, it literally makes me cry! 😭

I would tell you this - when it comes to having crushes and just interacting with different characters, we all have our own visions of them. Speaking for myself, as much as I try to write Patrick canonically, I don't really write any gore or him committing murders because my psyche blocks those aspects of his personality, but I don't judge people who write him really violent and brutal - that's just not my cup of tea. I can't say that I tried to find some good traits in his personality, no, I just accepted the fact that I fell in love with a narcistic, arrogant man who has mental problems and loves to manipulate people. All those "I can fix him" things never worked for me and I never really tried to imagine him changing in a good way for me. Actually, I just let him live rent free in my head, and as for the way I write him - sometimes I feel like I want to write him being gentle and loving - I really have a thing for sweet and affectionate Patty, sometimes (most of the time lmao) I'm into some really angsty shit, so probably most people don't like my writing because in my stories Patrick appears to be a dickhead and a total bastard. But like I said, we all look at characters from our own perspective and we have the right to imagine our crushes the way we want them to be. After all, only Bret Ellis can present Patrick's character the way he is supposed to be, since Ellis created him.

Speaking of the deleted scene with Courtney, it was a little different in the book, but yeah, I wouldn't recommend reading the book because it's much more triggering and disturbing than the movie. Honestly, when I read the book for the first time, I had a big breakdown because I felt disgusted by the things Patrick did in the novel and Bret did a great job of making Bateman a real monster, so I can say that the movie version of Patrick is less off-putting. Even now I try to avoid reading the book too often because some chapters make me really depressed. But I can confess that I'm one of those people who believe in the theory that Bateman didn't commit all those murders and that they were all in his head. In Lunar Park, Bret Ellis' other book, he hinted that all the murders were actually not real. So I can recommend you to read this book because it has a lot of interesting facts about Patrick Bateman as a character from the novel.

jimmysea. with a 5 years difference between them, they are actually the pair with the biggest age gap in GMMTV, which could have come in the way of their on- and off-screen relationship, but from what we are privy of i think you can see in every interaction they have that they clearly adore and are incredibly fond of each other. maybe it's because they share the same kind of derangement, or maybe it's because they both are very hardworking and humble boys who always try to give their best, but somehow they work. as the older one jimmy is always there to help and guide sea however he can, but when he needs it sea is ready to step up and carry the weight for him. they may not possess the kind of chemistry that's all sparks and fireworks, but they have a quiet gentle intimate one that makes them look like they've been married for years, which is also helped by their insane ability of looking at each other with so much love and adoration in their eyes it feels like your heart is getting curb stomped against the sidewalk. they don't really know what fan service is and they can go weeks without seeing each other (the drought eras), but when they do hang out they usually go out to eat and swim together (preferably at the pool in sea's condo after jimmy drives him back)

"This is rather unfortunate," Zhongli muttered to himself.

Using his tall stature to his advantage, he scanned over the crowd of people to see if he could spot the top of his boss's head.

No luck. Hu Tao was lost. Well, it was actually more likely that she was perfectly fine, but had wandered off to see something that caught her interest.

Zhongli agreed to take her out to the theme park to keep her from doing something that might get her kicked out. Like asking folks what their plans are if the roller coasters were to decapitate them, or if they would like a coupon in case one of the mascots was secretly a runaway serial killer hiding from the police.

She was an odd person, to say the least.

Rather than walk around aimlessly, Zhongli decided that he would go and wait at one of the information booths. They had agreed to meet at a place like that if they got separated, so he would just need to wait for her to realize that she had lost him and make her way back.

A green-painted, metal bench sat under a nice patch of shade from a tree not far from the booth, a perfect place for him to wait. Zhongli pulled his phone from the pocket of his slacks, swiping through some notifications from his social media.

He didn't use that sort of thing very often, but Hu Tao insisted that he make at least one account on a popular site to better stay connected to possible clients. That and she knew better than anyone that Zhongli enjoyed seeing people be creative, and social media gave a never-ending stream of creativity.

People walked by him, mostly unnoticed, as he watched videos, liked pictures, and looked through comments to see others' opinions. The only time he glanced up from his phone was when a stranger plopped down next to him with a large sigh.

At first, Zhongli only gave the other a small, quick once-over. Nothing about him stuck out, and he figured it was just another person needing a break from the long walk around the park. Though, the pair of shorts the stranger wore rode up his legs a little, revealing a bright blue tattoo around one of his thighs.

Throughout his time on social media, Zhongli had gone down more than a few rabbit holes. Artists, shows, bands, and weird internet theories all caught his interest at one point. None had stuck with him quite like 5WIRL, though.

Hu Tao had poked fun at him a few times for liking a boy band of all things, but even she liked their posts and would tag him in things related to them. Mostly pictures of Venti, the main man of the group.

His youthful features and extroverted personality made him a fan-favorite. Not to mention, his voice was heavenly. Each member of 5WIRL could sing, of course, but Venti could belt out the dictionary and still sound like a one-man chorus, sent from Celestia. Zhongli could recognize his voice anywhere.

Which was why the second the stranger sent a voice message on his phone, something about taking a break, Zhongli's mind went into overdrive. The signature tattoo, the style of his summery outfit, and his voice all added up. Venti had just sat right next to him.

Large sunglasses sat on his face, and his hair was styled into a ponytail rather than his usual braids. His floppy sun hat covered his head and shoulders in shade, all of which were probably to hide his true identity while he enjoyed the park. Zhongli had to play it cool and not expose him to the surrounding crowd, or he'd lose his chance to say hello and maybe get a nice response back.

He cleared his throat, tucking his phone away so that he could hold out his hand. "Hello there," he managed out. "It's so nice to see someone else taking some time to enjoy the shade."

Venti looked over at him then down at his extended hand, then back up to his face. "It is pretty sunny out today! It seems we're the smart ones for taking such a nice spot. It's a little strange that this bench was open." He grabbed Zhongli's hand and gave it a firm shake while he spoke, a large smile on his face. "Guess it works out for us, though."

His hand was so soft. Zhongli almost didn't let go, though he knew if he held on for a second longer, Venti would realize that he was panicking and trying too hard to play it cool.

"I agree, it has worked out. Especially since I'm waiting for my manager to find me." He chuckled, looking out over the crowd. "She never answers her phone, and it takes her a while to realize that I'm gone. Are you also waiting for someone?"

Venti laughed as well, a melodic sound that brought a warm smile to Zhongli's face. "Actually, it's the other way around. I agreed to meet with some friends, but walking all the way through the park is exhausting, so I had to take a short break."

"It is a large park," he hummed. "Well, I hope you don't mind me saying, but it's an honor getting to wait with someone like you. Not to be too forward, but I really love your music, and your stage presence is impeccable."

"Impeccable, huh?" Venti snorted. "You're not being too forward or anything like that, but you're so proper when you speak. Is that how you normally talk, or are you nervous? Because if you are, there's no need to be! I love meeting fans, especially ones that I wouldn't be able to guess are fans."

Zhongli let out a strained laugh, sitting up straighter. "Ah, to be honest, it's a bit of both. It's important to conduct oneself in a manner that both commands and gives respect. And being right next to you is also a little overwhelming. I've only ever seen videos and pictures. It's hard to believe you're real, sometimes."

Venti placed his hand on Zhongli's shoulder, giving him a few pats. "I'm definitely real! And definitely interested in talking more about other proper things you do and say. But I should really get going, or my friends are going to worry about me." He stood, adjusting his hat and holding his phone out. "Type in your username, and I'll look you up on one of my personal accounts so we can chat later. If you're cool with that, anyway."

"Oh, uh, yes, very cool with that." Zhongli nearly dropped the phone as he took it and typed in his username, struggling to remember it even though it was just his name with a zero for the O and a one for the I. Coming up with anything else had been too difficult at the time and seemed unprofessional anyway.

"Awesome! I'll hit you up after this trip, okay?" He took his phone back and tapped a few things on the screen. "Talk to you then, Zhongli!" Venti lowered his sunglasses enough to wink and blow a kiss before he skipped away, leaving Zhongli breathless and thoughtless on the bench.

Whatever he had done in that brief interaction that made Venti interested in him, Zhongli was forever thankful for it. His head spun too much to even think back on any of the conversation, so rather than dwell on what he said, he stared at his phone, eyeing the notification of a new follower.

Hu Tao was never going to believe his luck.

And you're absolutely right about being more sensitive to dark/evil content once you live a pure life. I sometimes get horrified by the type of content that's trending or is popular. Look at Hazbin Hotel, those hyper sexual TEEN shows, hyper sexual music with artists literally being half naked/pulling out pornographic shows on stage, pedophile propaganda/mentally regressive anime, etc. I'm like "HOW DO YOU GUYS CAN WATCH THIS TRASH??" The Batfamily were dealing with a force unlike any other in this world, something completely otherworldly and dangerous - well, dangerous for the crime in Gotham City. For the past few weeks, the bodies of criminals have been located with their bodies either charred to the core to the point all their blood was burned in their bodies and their faces were recognizable. One of the bodies that were able to the seen was a serious killer that attacked people in the alleyways his head missing and the tattoos on his body were still intact. When the noise that he was killed, the people of Gotham rejoiced and welcomed the new hero that they called 'The Reaper'.

Soon, the streets of Gotham were quiet as more bodies of killers and villains were showing up in the alleys, and Batman was going to do something about it.

He placed cameras in the alleys to see if he could capture any footage of this mystery Reaper and luck was on his side the very next night when the footage of a man attacking a woman in a central alley appeared and another figure appeared out of a cyclone of fire, scaring both the man and the woman. The man pulled out a knife and charged the Reaper but his hand was grabbed and ripped off with a single motion. The thief fell to the ground and held his bleeding shoulder where his arm once was and the Batfamily watched as fire engulfed Reaper's Hands before he grabbed the man's face and began to burn him alive. Once the thief was dead, Reaper checked on the woman and erased her memory before leaving the alley in a flicker of fire.

"A Brutal Bastard, I like him already." Red Hood smirked under his hood.

"As much as I hate to admit it, I approve of him, Father; he's been keeping Gotham safe from the things that go bump in the night while we've been knocking heads with Meta-Humans." Damian said with a smirk of his own.

"He's strong. We need him in the family, Bruce." Dick said with no hesitation.

"I agree. We find the Reaper and get him to join us - leave him no choice." Bruce said.

"Right." All the sons said before departing to find the Famous Reaper and make him a part of the Batfamily as Bat-Reaper or Reaper-Bat, whichever he chooses.

Bruce began preparing a room in Wayne Manor with Fire-resistant walls and furniture.

Damian watched Reaper's Fighting Style on the videos and tried to copy it but it just wasn't the same as having a teacher - when Reaper joined the family, he was going to ask him to teach him how to fight the way he did.

Bruce sent Jason and Dick to look for Reaper's Hideout but the two of them were having a hard time finding out - it was clear that he wasn't human so it was possible that his hideout wasn't on the Mortal Plain of Existence.

Then, the night came when Reaper came back to look for dangers in Gotham City and the Batfamily found him about to kill another criminal, Batman shot him in the back with a tranquilizer laced with ice, knocking him out and collared him with a device that prevented him for using his powers before gathering him in the batmobile before the family headed back to the Batcave.

Upon arriving, Reaper woke in a glass box with a bed before the entire Batfamily. He tried to use his powers to escape but he found out he couldn't use them - the collar around his neck was laced with Suppression Runes that negated his demonic powers.

"Hello, Reaper. My Name is Batman and these are my sons, now your brothers, and I am your father now. You are a member of our family." Bruce said with a smile under his mask.

"Welcome to the Batfamily, Brother." The Current Robin said with a smirk on his face. Reaper looked at them and knew they weren't going to let him go and he wasn't going to try to escape 4 on one, so he was going to play nice until they took his collar off out him, then he was going to leave.
