My Unhinged Kindle Notes pt.1

So today I had the brilliant idea of posting my kindle notes for some of the fics I read. Idk I think it'll be fun to let you guys watch me be insane from time to time. I feel like I act so serious on here when that is the FURTHEST thing from the truth. So instead of/in addition to doing reviews, I might start posting some of my (more interesting) notes from reading. Lmk if you guys find this fun at all :)

Starting with the one I finished today. Fic spoilers ahead, just FYI.

Fic: and it was Just Right by cinnabee

Summary for a lil context: "Katsuki spends two years post-graduation in a furious one-sided competition with his childhood friend and rival's promotional photos - until they finally run into each other, and, well. You shouldn't believe everything you see in magazines. // A love story about size differences."

Fun fact, the "orange one" is a massive dildo. But that's inconsequential.

Unhinged Kindle Notes: Calm down, Daroga!

My annotations on Phantom of the Opera can be sorted into 3 main categories: ‘Shut up, Raoul!’ and ‘Aw, Christine/Erik! (affectionate or disapproving)’ and ‘Calm down, Daroga!’

The Persian's reminisces are always entertaining to read, especially when Gaston Leroux's footnotes call him out as a suspected unreliable narrator.

My Kindle has been so so so helpful lately! Definitely a must for me in studying literature

caffeine high induced 20k leagues doodle while I'm still figuring out how to draw aronnax. lost my mind over how aronnax described the precise measurements of the nautilus in chapter 12 last night (which led to me not being able to fall asleep thinking about how he either got the blueprints of the nautilus to view and copy OR he wrote down every single word and number Nemo said.)

I pasted a piece of paper on the back of my Kindle to trick my brain.

Recently, I’ve been eyeing new books to buy again, and I want to stop myself from spending money on them when I already have many unread physical books on my shelves and ebooks on my Kindle.

This is a new refill paper I bought for my Filofax, and it has more texture than my previous batch. I trimmed it down so it fits perfectly.

This is the area where I hold the kindle. The goal is to trick my brain into thinking I’m holding a real paper book because my fingers are touching the paper part.

Will it work to quell my desire to consume more? Will it encourage me to pick up my Kindle more often? Who knows!

The first row is completed! At this rate I’ll fill out both pages. I don’t really have a reading goal, but it’s nice to have an overview of all the books I’ve read so far.
