Can I request a fic where Elijah Mikaelson is in love with a human!Reader who isn't his usual type of woman. Reader is always getting in trouble and Elijah is trying to save
I love Elijah trying to save the women he love fics. Simping time baby.
Warnings: Fluff, A bit of angst, Elijah being a bit possessive, Hayley being a bitch, A bit of smut
You had been on your own since you were sixteen and taking care of yourself that was until you met Elijah Mikaelson one night at Rousseau's when he scared off one of your clients that followed you to the bar after you got off work. You shared a few drinks with Elijah sharing that fact you were a stripper and for once you weren't judged for it.
Since that night Elijah was became apart of your everyday life always looking out for you. At first it was sweet and you found him to be a gentleman but now you were annoyed.
"Long night?" Camille asked pouring you a glass of your favorite whiskey as you groaned.
"It would be if I could work Cami." You said downing your whiskey and Camille poured you another glass. Elijah had started to show up at your work paying for your whole shift which was a lot of money. Normally you wouldn't have a problem with it as many businessmen would pay for a stripper's whole shift but the other girls were starting to get jealous and your normal clients were scared off by Elijah.
"Elijah being a hand full?"
"Yes! I get at first he was being a gentleman but now he is getting on my nerves." You growled as you felt a hand on your back and you looked seeing it was Elijah.
"Thanks Cams but I am calling it a night." You said huffing annoyed paying for your drinks walking out and Elijah followed after you.
"Well you fu...." You were cut off by a every brave vampire had grabbed you and was about to bite you. Elijah was quick to kill the vampire then caught you when you tripped over yourself.
"Are you alright?"
"I'm fine." You tell Elijah pushing him away making him smirk. Elijah knew you were annoyed with him and angry with him following you everywhere. But Elijah couldn't help himself for being drawn to you.
"Why do you deny that you are mine?"
"What?! I don't belong to no one!" You growled glaring at Elijah as he couldn't help but find you just gorgeous with the fiery anger in your eyes.
"But you are. When you let me feed from you." Elijah tells you as you glared harder remembering that night you found him hurt nearly bleeding out by your apartment building. You brought him into your apartment cleaning him up and letting him drink from you unaware that you became his.
"You can't hold that against me!" You yell at Elijah then a squeak came from you when Elijah was suddenly in front of you. Elijah put an arm around you gripping your chin kissing you pulling a mewl from you letting him deepen the kiss.
"I am not holding it against you. It is true, you belong to me and if it was up to me you wouldn't have to work again."
You were flushed heart racing as you looked at Elijah shivering as he cupped your cheek rubbing it with his thumb. You knew Elijah well enough now to know he wasn't a man to let go of something. So you swallowed deciding to give into Elijah completely, you gently tugged him down brushing your lips lightly against his.
"Then take what is yours." You whispered looking up at Elijah seeing a dark glit in his eyes. Suddenly you were pressed up against a bedroom wall as Elijah kissed you roughly. Moans and growls filled the room as you both tore at one another's clothing.
You choked out a moan arching when Elijah had set a rough brutal pace once one the bed. Elijah wasn't going easy on you as if you had broke whatever self control he had.
"Elijah.." You panted out cupping his face kissing him hungrily feeling him grabbing your legs moving higher placing one leg over his shoulder the other in the crook of his arm. Elijah leaned back looking down at you seeing your hair damp by sweat face flushed gripping his sheets tightly.
"You take me so well. Is my baby going to cum again?" Elijah asked watching you throw your head back mouth hanging open shaking when he began to rub your clit.
"I.....I..I can't." You tell him turning your head burying your face in the sheets as Elijah smirked leaning down not letting up one bit.
"Come on baby. Just one more." Elijah says latching onto your neck as you shook and whined under him. You felt the air leave you arching off the bed clinging to Elijah biting down hard on his shoulder as you cummed hard with Elijah growling lowly following after.
You fell back against the bed feeling weak as you panted Elijah smiled brushing the hair from your face as the bite mark you left was healing. Elijah gently kissed you then peppered you neck with kisses.
"If....I knew...this was what...I get for giving in....I would have done it months ago." You panted as Elijah chuckled getting up and gently began to clean you up.
"Any lesser man wouldn't have cared as much as I did." Elijah said pulling you into his arms smiling as you kissed his chest.
"Next time....I'll show you my talented mouth." You tell him trying to leave marks on his neck. Elijah laughed pulling you closer kissing you gently.
"I look forward to it baby." Elijah said rubbing your bare back kissing the crown of your head. You woke before Elijah and carefully got out of bed stealing one of his botton ups then grabbed your panties glad he didn't torn them.
"You must be the stripper." You heard someone say as you had gone down to get a snack and water. You looked up seeing it was Hayley, you knew who she was as Elijah told you about her when you indulge him with a private dance.
"I'm......"
"Look I don't care. We both know what you are. A gold digger. Let me guess you let Elijah pay for a few dances, then manipulated Elijah into bed to use him."
You swallowed hiding the pain of what Hayley said and normally you could take it as you were use to wives coming to yell at you. But this hit harder for some reason and you didn't know why. You looked at Hayley.
"No...that's not...what I'm."
"Really? Elijah had spent a lot of money on you and now you are sleeping with him. I think we both know that is a lie. Elijah needs someone better that isn't some lonely stripper." Hayley said as you stood up leaving the kitchen as Hayley stood there arms crossed.
You were on autopilot putting your pants on grabbing your shirt not changing out Elijah's and grabbed your purse looking at a sleeping Elijah. You decided to not leave a note and left the compound not seeing that Hayley was watching.
"Are you sure?" Your boss asked frowning handing your last check to you. You had told your boss that you were quitting and thank her for taking such good care of you.
"Y...y...yeah I just...need something new." You said normally a strong woman but Elijah had soften you. As you used to now being taken care of, able to feel safe for once but what Hayley said hit too close.
"Okay suga but know you are always welcome back. You're family." Your ex boss said hugging you and you hugged back. You said goodbye to the bartender, Andy, and bouncer Daniel both were like big brothers you never had. Once you got your boxes in your car you left New Orleans.
It hurt to leave but you knew you could run into Elijah a little too easy and you knew you'll crawl back to the vampire. You drove until you reached New York finding a tiny apartment and settled down there.
"Where could she have gone?" Elijah growled as Freya was doing a locater spell which was being proven difficult. It only took Elijah an hour to noticed you had left not only his side but the city.
"What is going on?" Hayley asked seeing an angry Elijah and smirking Klaus as Freya was trying to locate something.
"Elijah's little dancer had ran away."
"Oh? I didn't know you were dating." Hayley said thinking she kinda knew who Klaus was about but she wasn't too sure.
"Little wolf they weren't dating. More like the girl belongs to Elijah. But for some reason she left." Klaus said smirking devilishly making Hayley nervous thinking Klaus may know something.
"Belonging to him?"
"I saved her from a client that was too pushy. We talked shared a drink then a month later I was wounded bleeding out in front of her building. She cleaned me up and allowed me to feed from her."
"Since then she is the only one he feeds from unless it is a blood bag." Klaus said surprising Hayley as she looked at Elijah.
"Is that a normal vampire thing?"
"Yes and last night I finally got her to fully give herself to me. But someone has sow seeds of lies in her so once I bring her home. I will find who drove her from me."
Elijah's tone was dark and Klaus stood seeing the red door opening. While Klaus knew what you meant to Elijah, he didn't think you were red door opening worthy.
"I am sure whoever's responsible brother, didn't know how much Y/N meant to you." Klaus said slowly as Hayley looked at Klaus shocked. Now Klaus over heard that morning now he was planning to tease Hayley but now knowing Elijah's red door was opening. It was different.
"Do you know something Niklaus?" Elijah asked calmly too calm as Klaus knew he could take Elijah, Klaus knew Hayley wouldn't have a chance. And before Klaus could say a word he was glad Freya interrupted.
"She is in New York." Once those words left Freya, Elijah was gone. Klaus looked to Hayley.
"Pray Elijah, gets her back Hayley as there is so much I can do to calm Elijah." Klaus said as Hayley let out a breath she didn't know she was holding.
You had just gotten off work feeling sore as the new place you danced at was more demanding but the tips were bigger. You locked your apartment door dropping your bag and keys on the hall table and kicking off heels.
"I would have gotten you a bigger place." You nearly screamed when you saw Elijah sitting in your chair.
"Elijah wh...." You were cut off by Elijah giving you a heated kiss lifting you up by your thighs. You couldn't help but moan into the kiss as Elijah growled deeply taking you over to the chair he was sitting in.
"Now baby. Why did you leave and don't lie." Elijah said pulling you closer as you swallowed seeing the dark glit in his eye the same one he had before fucking you silly.
"I ran into Hayley and well......" You trailed off insecurities you had long forgotten came flooding back as you realized the reason it hurt was because you were in love with Elijah.
"Baby, what happened?" Elijah asked gently wiping the tears at fell from your eyes. You took a shakey breath looking at Elijah seeing his eyes soften.
"Hayley called me a gold digger, telling me that I used you and told me you need.......someone that wasn't a lonely stripper."
Elijah felt a flare of anger for what Hayley had done but focused on you placing soft kisses on your skin reaching up behind you unzipping your dress.
"If anyone needs better baby. It is you, remember I chased you. You could never use me as you are too good for that." Elijah says undressing you slowly until you were in only lingerie.
"But...." You were silenced by a kiss as Elijah held the back of your head gently tugging on your hair. You moaned softly rolling your hips but Elijah stopped you with his other hand.
"I need to punish you for leaving and coming to me about this problem."
"Before you can I just say I love you Elijah." You tell him flushing as arousal flooded your veins seeing the dark look Elijah gave you.
"I love you too baby." Elijah says softly picking you up as he stood up taking you to your bedroom. Indeed Elijah's punishment was one you wouldn't forget as he took you to a place that you didn't know could be reached.
You panted laying on Elijah as he traced random patterns on your bare back as you both whispered I love yous. You both knew you weren't going to let the other go any time soon.

Part One. Part Two. Part Three.
Tumblr media
“That wife of yours has been sneaking around with my brother. Breaking more hearts than just yours from what I can see.”
“I suppose some people just can’t see the worthiness of the king in front of them. If I were your wife, I wouldn’t be like Y/n. I’d be committed you and never give you fib tales like her.”
“You are aware that Y/n has been plotting something nefarious against you, aren’t you?”
“I know you wanted to marry someone just as sinister as you, but perhaps you should’ve checked where her loyalty lied before tying that knot.”
Aurora fed him stories such as these, and many more, each conclusion of the lies spewing from her mouth something appalling about Y/n. At first, Klaus didn’t listen, but as her stories grew worse and worse, the faux feeling of treachery intensified. He knew it was unwise to believe anything that came from the spiteful, jealous woman...yet, his distress caused pain to strike his heart and he yearned to know the truth.
Although, in this case, the “truth” wasn’t actually very truthful.
She often told him things like that Lucien was going after his girl for the second time, first with her when she had her chance and now, his beloved wife. Klaus merely brushed it off with an honest “he tries and I’ll stake him first chance I get”. However, Aurora wasn’t finished yet. She continued to lie and deceive Niklaus about the woman who she accused of replacing her in his life. The envy and loathing Aurora felt for Y/n was her motivator, but the woman was too far up a wall to need one in the first place.
“Are you telling me the truth?” He growled, keeping his eyes trained at the wall in front of them.
“Why do you ask?”
“I need to know I can trust your bold claims. So answer me, Aurora, are you telling me the truth?”
That smug little grin, masking her deluding ways. “Of course, Nik. I would never lie to you.” Her welcome into his trust was unsurprisingly taken advantage of  when she traced her finger down his arm and then brought her hand up his abdomen slowly. Klaus shoved her invasive hand off of his chest though, giving her a warning glare.
“Thank you for informing me.” That was all he said to her before he made his way out of the room in the most hurry she’d ever seen him in.
Aurora smiled conceitedly. Her plans were on the right track. Whilst Nik didn’t have the same feelings for her now as he did way back during the beginning of their story, but Aurora was determined to stir those feelings from the dead as vampirism did him and her.
She drawled under her breath, “I will have you again, Nik.” her mischievous smile grew wider, “I will have you again, and nothing can stop me this time.”
Tumblr media
“Blasphemy!” Niklaus shouted, veins popping out from the rage coursing in his system. He neared Y/n again, the slight fear in her eyes drawing a pause for a second, guilt stilling him, but his anger took the reigns once more.
“It’s not blasphemy! I would never lie to you!”
“The falsity of your deception proves otherwise, love.” He smirked, raising his brows as to question if she would battle his words yet again. Proof was what he needed, but his vexation had drowned out all logic, including his ability to see the proof he wanted so desperately.
“What deception? What falsehood do you believe to have come from my mouth? When I married you, I vowed to be truthful and loyal. You of all people on this fucking earth should know I always keep a vow.” She narrowed her eyes at him. The betrayal he thought he felt was temporary and fabricated, but hers was 100% genuine and seething within her.
“You say that but if you were indeed an untrue person, your answer would be no different.”
“Why do you insist on proving me a traitor!? What has pushed you so far past your breaking point that you actually accuse me, your wife, as a viper?”
“Don’t you pretend like you don’t know the malicious schemes you’ve plotted against me or the affairs you’ve had with men who obviously aren’t your husband!” He couldn’t stop himself now; “I’ve loved you for centuries and you decide to be disloyal and ill-natured?!”
“Says who?!”
“Says Aurora!” After the words flew from his mouth, a tiny part of him realized just how fucked up it sounded. Just how fucked up it was that he believed her over his wife, but the hybrid was stubborn. He was too stubborn to change his belief or admit his fallacious accusations were unjust without proper evidence.
Y/n knew Aurora and Klaus’ story. Her knowledge of the ancient and long forgotten tale made her reaction thousands of times worse. “Aurora? ...Huh. You choose to believe her- that manipulative, lying bitch, over me? I thought you knew me better than that.” She wiped away a rebellious tear, “I thought I knew you better than that.”
Disappointment hung heavy on her features, drawing a feeling of shame from Klaus. Y/n glared at him one last time, her knitted brows and vaguely teary eyes evidence of the heavy-heartedness that overwhelmed her. She bit the inside of her mouth and shook her head disapprovingly before turning and walking out the front gate-doors of the Mikaelson mansion. Klaus was alone.
Tumblr media
The sounds of Davina’s giggles echoed, Cami sitting in front of her and chuckling heartfully as well. Their laughter died off when they noticed Y/n sulking through the front doors of Rousseau's. The place was empty aside from the two women having drinks and a friendly chat. Then Y/n entered and found a seat. The atmosphere, once cheery, suddenly felt melancholy.
“Hey, Y/n, you alright?” Camille’s smile was wiped from her lips. She felt empathy for Klaus’ wife and, as a friendly person in general, she felt overcome with the need to help solve the complication that made her feel so down in the dumps.
“I’m-” She was ready to say fine, Davina and Cami knew it, but she broke down in tears before she could even shape an “o” with her lips. Both women jumped up immediately and sat in the seats beside Y/n. Though Davina couldn’t stand Klaus, she actually liked Y/n and seeing her hurt sent searing pain into her own heart.
“It’s okay, hun,” Cami wrapped an arm over Y/n’s shoulder, her other hand rubbing her other shoulder and arm comfortingly, “take as long as you need, there’s no pressure, no rush, none of that. We’ve got you.”
And so they did. The two women took turns holding Y/n as she cried, and before long, she was ready to talk. She explained Klaus’ anger and the source of their fight, the source of the fake news he’d lashed out because of. Davina and Cami shared a glance when Aurora was mentioned, both women already hating her but equally despising her even more now. Y/n sobbed, crying into Cami’s shoulder about wanting Klaus to just believe her. She said she loved him and because of that, she felt pained by his lack of belief in her.
“He’s not worth it if he can’t see how wrong that decision was-”
“I know, but he’s my husband. I vowed to love him always and forever, to never leave his side, and I intend to keep that vow...so long as he doesn’t do anything to fuck it up any more than he already has.”
The sun began to sink into the dark, not fully quite yet, but still creating it’s beautiful array of colors as a final act before disappearing for the night. About halfway through Y/n’s rant, Cami called Hayley and gave her a summary of what she knew so far. A promise of arriving as soon as she could was returned on Hayley’s end before the line went dead and Cami returned to the table.
Still not entirely after sunset yet, Hayley swung open the door to Rousseau's, catching Davina and Y/n off guard. Despite being the one who called her, Cami stayed seated. Y/n and the witch beside her exchanged confused expressions.
“Are you just gonna sit there or are you gonna tell me what the hell I need to do to Klaus?”
Y/n chuckled softly, wiping away more of the salty tears, before standing and walking over to Hayley, greeting her with a hug. “You don’t have to get involved if you don’t want to-”
“No, trust me, I have to and I want to.” She pulled away and dropped her warm smile, giving Y/n the most serious look she could muster. And as she was Hayley Marshall, it was effortlessly pretty fucking serious. “Now, I want you tell me everything,” the mom voice came out to play, “don’t leave a single detail out. Then, we can discuss what we’re going to do about it.”
Tumblr media
“Where is he?”
Rebekah had been informed by the pissed off werewolf and bartender everything that had happened, resulting in her becoming equally upset. She welcomed Hayley inside the gates and nodded her head up the stairs. “I haven’t said anything to him, so you’ll be lucky enough to catch him by surprise.”
The werewolf nodded in understanding before pacing toward the stairs irritability. “Thanks.”
“Make it hurt!” Rebekah’s voice faded away as she walked out the gates, leaving Hayley alone to find Niklaus.
Atop the stairs, she found no sign of anyone whatsoever, but that was only on the outside. If Klaus happened to be inside on of the many rooms, she wouldn’t waste her time searching. Instead, she waited, leaning against the railing and doing a breathing exercise Y/n taught her during one lonely full-moon.
After minutes of waiting, Klaus finally walked out of a door and started for the stairs. It wasn’t longer than a minute before he stopped in his tracks and realized he’d missed something. He shot a double take in Hayley’s direction, a puzzled expression quickly finding way to his face. It seemed as though he was contemplating whether or not her unexpected appearance was a good thing or a bad thing.
When he seemingly couldn’t make up his mind, staring a few minutes longer, a heavy sigh left her mouth. She was ticked off with him before, but after hearing everything Y/n had to say, she was furious. No, more than furious. The blood boiling rage was incessantly pounding in her head, all she wanted was cause destruction and pain. A rare thing for her.
But now was not the time to lash out, not yet. She inhaled and exhaled, Hayley shifted on her feet and looked around before turning her head to Klaus and beckoned him over to her with a come-hither motion of her index finger.
“What is it?”
She looked at him, flabbergasted that he’d even ask a question as stupid as that, “What is it? What is it, Klaus?” Hayley slapped him, the man doubling back and blinking in astonishment. And not the good kind.
“How dare you lay your hands on me, you-”
“So you’re gonna yell at me now?” She crossed her arms, and unimpressed look resting upon her face. “You know, personally, I think Y/n is better off without you but she’s broken and has been bawling her eyes out nonstop for hours on end, drinking away all the pain that you’ve formed into a stake and shoved into her chest.”
He stopped, fury fleeing his face as he experienced what felt like her words body-slamming into him.
“And guess who’s been there to pick out the splinters?” She poked her finger against her chest over and over again. “Me!” Her eyes never left his, telling him just how sincere about this she really was. “Me! Cami- even Davina!” Hayley threw her hands in the air, emphasizing the shock that came with the information. “Rebekah’s on her way over now, and I’m sure Elijah will see to it that he comforts his sister-in-law as much as he can, but you?”
“I-”
She cut him off, temper still unquenched, thirsty for vengeance. “Let me finish.” She growled. Hayley looked around the room in attempt to calm herself, but it was to no avail.
“You got her into this mess. I just hope you get both of you guys out of it.” She flicked her eyes back to his, giving him her infamous dead eyed glare. “I really hope you do. And you better do it soon. Because I won’t be there to pick the splinters out for you when she realizes she doesn’t need your sorry ass.”

Meet the Mikaelsons - Chapter 6: Lights. Camera. Action.
On AO3 and FF
Playa Palmilla, San Jose del Cabo
Wednesday - 10:09am
“I just don’t understand why I’m bitching and moaning about this? It’s not really my style, I think this script was meant for Kol.” The cast and crew were spread out around the pristine swimming pool, the bright sunlight adding to the picturesque view.
“Oi,” Kol growled. “I don’t bitch and moan.” The whole set, not to mention the few extras, were suddenly silent. Kol’s reputation obviously preceded him, even in Mexico.
"Okay, cut! You are here to crash your ex-girlfriend’s wedding, Klaus,” Jenna offered, breaking the silence. “We need to understand your rationale, you can’t just turn up at her wedding for no reason.”
“Well, things on this show have happened for a lot less,” he muttered, standing up from his sun lounger. “Can we take a break? It’s bloody hot out here and I need a drink.”
Once he stepped into the cool relief of his private villa, Klaus immediately felt bad. Usually it was Rebekah throwing a tantrum on set. Given he was co-producer didn’t help matters. To his credit, Klaus had been relatively professional since taking on the role but today he’d let himself slip back into old habits.
After grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge, Klaus flopped onto the couch. His eyes had briefly flickered over to her before leaving set, not that he let them rest there long.
He didn’t know how long it had been happening, but Klaus was aware his attention was regularly captured by her. Yes, she was beautiful and intelligent and gave him a hard time (which was his favourite) but Caroline Forbes had become like a drug to him.
He needed to be near her.
A lot.
Klaus didn’t usually need anyone; he’d managed quite well up until this point given his interesting family upbringing but, when it came to Caroline, he couldn’t control his own feelings or somewhat weird and slightly stalkerish behaviour.
Yes, he’d crashed her flight and insisted she stay with him, but he had a very good reason. One he’d yet to tell her about. Although, Klaus was starting to wonder if that very good reason came about because of needing to be near her and not the other way around which scared the hell out of him.
“I’m surprised you’re not lying on the floor, kicking and screaming,” she interrupted his thoughts. He didn’t respond immediately, annoyed that she thought so little of him. “That was a reference to your tantrum before, if you hadn’t already guessed.”
“And they thought sending you in here to coax me out was a great idea, Forbes?”
“It was supposed to be a motivational kick in the ass,” she offered, sitting next to him, grabbing the bottle of water from his hand and taking a swig. Her relative ease and comfort around him was surprising although not unwelcome.
Her arm grazed his, no doubt by accident, and Klaus could feel himself faltering slightly. His nostrils filled with the smell of coconut and Klaus could detect the faint aroma of strawberries from the shampoo he’d noticed in their shared bathroom.
She was wearing a pair of denim shorts that day and Klaus had lost track of how many times he imagined peeling them off her slowly and exploring what was underneath.
He shook his head determined to get rid of such thoughts, Klaus was supposed to be annoyed with her after all.
His supposed tantrum before wasn’t due to the script (although it was ridiculous) but because of the previous evening.
Yes, he’d insisted she go to dinner with his family but what he wasn’t expecting was for Caroline to invite best friend number one, best friend number two and the Love Doctor.
He didn't begrudge her company but Klaus was enjoying having her undivided attention and, yes, he knew it was incredibly childish.
Many people were jealous because he was born into extreme wealth and privilege but with that came absentee parents and, even with five siblings, loneliness. Klaus always felt like the odd one out although he could never really explain why. Call him crazy, but when he felt like someone was actually hearing and seeing the real him, he didn’t want to let go.
"Are you still not talking to me?"
"I never said that."
"No, you just ignored me during and after dinner. Actually, you pretty much ignored everyone," she noted. "I was tempted to encourage Henrik to start a food fight just to get you out of this funk but apparently he was on his best behaviour for my friends."
"It's not a funk," he muttered. "Although, you could have told me you'd invited them to dinner."
"I told your mom beforehand and, as we both know, she was extremely pleased to see Enzo. In fact, you should be thanking me."
"For what exactly?" The last thing Klaus wanted to do was thank her for bringing the perfect humanitarian doctor who could do no wrong. Who was Klaus kidding? He was jealous of the idiot and his close connection with Caroline and didn’t want to witness it first hand .
"Occupying your mother from her cilantro obsession and annoying the hell out of Rebekah for whatever reason, amongst other things." Klaus had to admit she had a point there. He also knew he was acting like a child, especially since he'd forced her into dinner in the first place. "Also, don't forget Bonnie managed to minimise Kol's bad etiquette because he was so busy trying to impress her and Katherine monopolised Elijah so he didn't feel the need to lecture anyone."
"So, what you're trying to say, in a convoluted way, is that your surprise guests actually saved the Mikaelson family dinner from ruin?"
"Well, it certainly helped," she boasted. "And you so deserved it." Klaus attempted to interrupt before she continued. "Do I need to remind you of all the intrusive and presumptuous things you've done the past two days?"
Well, she did have a point.
"No need to tell me I'm right," she said. "Your silence is confirmation enough. Now princess, can we please go back to set? Every minute we sit here is money that we don't have to waste. And if you want to do that stubborn brooding act and not talk about your feelings I'll have a word to Jenna."
"What silent, brooding act?"
"That thing where you'd rather stab out your eyes than show any emotion, it's okay our female viewers love the strong, silent type."
"I just don't like talking about my feelings, especially to millions of people," he shared, she gave him a look which clearly said he was in the wrong business if that was the case. "I'm here for my family," Klaus answered, thinking that was at least sort of true.
"Well, they should be very thankful for that," she murmured, her gaze downcast. "I'm not sure I could ever do something like this for anyone."
"I don't buy that at all, Forbes," he winked at her and took back his water bottle, taking a sip. "Now, let's go back where I will put on the performance of my life. Do they award Emmys for best performance in a reality television series?"
"I wouldn't get my hopes up," she drawled, following him out the door. "Wow, this girl must have really done a number on you."
"What makes you say that?"
"The brooding, the tantrum, the sudden change of heart. What exactly did Hayley Marshall do to you, Mikaelson?" She asked, her curiosity evident.
"Who said Hayley Marshall did anything to me?"
"Well, it's why we're here, right?" She stopped in her tracks, turning slightly, her left eyebrow cocked. "Right?"
"I never said that, well not exactly..."
"Oh my god," she hissed. "If you're not here to crash her wedding, why the hell did we spend all this money bringing the entire crew to Mexico? Without that particular plot line you realise we have nothing."
"Just breathe, love," he murmured, placing his hands on her shoulders and staring deeply into her eyes. She even looked beautiful stressed. "I didn't say I wouldn't crash a wedding, I just have other reasons for the trip besides that."
Before she could ask any more questions or berate him for being annoyingly aloof, Klaus pulled her towards set thinking he was going to have to explain himself soon.
Just not yet.
4:37pm
"That water feels so good," Klaus grinned, running back onto the beach thinking maybe Mexico was just what he needed. Elijah was sitting upright on his towel, mid yoga pose. For someone so uptight and serious he had some interesting ways to pass the time.
"Must you drip water on me like some wayward canine, Niklaus?" He growled, opening one brown eye followed by the other. "I was attempting to relax."
"You are on a beach in Mexico, big brother, how much more relaxed do you need to get?" He asked, lying on his towel and taking in the view of the blue ocean. Elijah uncrossed his legs and gave his brother a frustrated look.
"It's all of this reality television, I need to cleanse my body and soul afterward."
"You make it sound so dirty, Elijah," he teased.
"That's because it is," he shot back.
"Then why do you do it?" Klaus asked genuinely curious about Elijah's motives.
Klaus knew that his older, and more responsible, brother had carved out a successful career as a stockbroker in New York City and didn't need reality television stardom or the associated trappings. He'd always been a loner from a young age and this kind of attention seemed like something Elijah would shy away from rather than embrace it.
"Mother called and you know how difficult she can be when she doesn't get her way," he said. "Add Rebekah and Kol to that equation and you know the rest. Anyway, surely you’re familiar with it all given she managed to lure you back from Europe." Klaus nodded thinking it was partly true.
Yes, he'd felt the same family pressure but there was something else driving him. Something that no one knew about, even Elijah.
"It's that whining she does," Klaus joked. "She doesn’t stop and it sounds just like a cat with a fur ball stuck down its throat."
"I'm almost afraid to ask," a familiar brunette interrupted their conversation. Dressed in a fitted, red bikini with her hair loose, Caroline's best friend Katherine oozed confidence. His brother meanwhile seemed to be struggling to find his words. "You both finished filming for the day?"
"Yeah, about a half hour ago," Klaus said. "Thought we'd take a swim and wash some of that contrived reality television away."
"Some caring relative you are, Pierce." Klaus knew that voice all too well and he wasn't really in the mood for it. At least Caroline wasn't around, she'd gone back to the villa to take a rest before dinner. "I could have drowned out there."
"Enough with the dramatics, Lorenzo," she huffed. "Look who I ran into."
"If it isn't Mexico's latest celebrities," he whistled. "How did you escape all your adoring fans from earlier? I thought you were going to lose a lot more than the shirts off your backs."
"This isn't our first rodeo," Elijah offered knowingly, finally finding his voice in Katherine's presence. Klaus knew that Elijah was extremely shy when it came to women and decided his big brother needed and deserved a little push.
"Actually, Elijah was just saying how much he wanted to take a walk down the beach but I'm exhausted from that Oscar worthy performance I did by the pool. Maybe you might like to accompany him Katherine?" Out of the corner of his eye, Klaus could see Elijah sending him a death stare.
"Really, you don't have to.."
"No, I'd like to take a walk," she smiled. They walked off into the distance, Klaus secretly pleased with his efforts. But knowing Elijah and his stubborn ass he'd ruin whatever chance he had with Katherine Pierce. Caroline had said something about not leaving her alone with Elijah but surely that was a joke, well he hoped so.
"You're a matchmaker too?" He sat down beside Klaus, obviously not waiting for an invitation that would never come.
"Just bored I suppose."
"You don't like me much, do you?" He asked before continuing. "It's okay, I'm used to it. You know being BFFs with Caroline isn't easy...
“BFFs?”
“Best Friends Forever,” he responded and Klaus immediately felt like he’d been transported back to grade school. “Most of her potential suitors and boyfriends feel threatened because, well look at me, but.."
"What boyfriends?" He asked, probably against his better judgment.
"You do like her! I must admit I had my suspicions but that streak of jealousy gave you away," he laughed. "Not that I'm surprised, Caroline is amazing, albeit a little bossy."
"Do you always talk this much?"
"Says the guy who's deflecting," he snorted. "Look, it's okay, everyone falls for Caroline. She's beautiful and intelligent and.." Klaus gave him an unimpressed glance by way of response, "and I don't like her like that. I mean she's like a really annoying sister that you should never try to wake in the morning because it's not pretty let me tell you."
"You really do like the sound of your own voice."
"Fine, you don't want to admit it to me, I get it, we barely know each other but if you hurt her I will kill you," he promised. "Care Bear likes to act tough but she's actually more vulnerable than you think."
Klaus was immediately curious about what that meant and who he'd have to kill for hurting her but didn't want to give away more than he already had to Enzo.
"Aren't you supposed to be a doctor? I thought killing people would be against your code or something?"
"I'm pretty certain killing people isn't okay for anyone, Niklaus," he teased.
"You did not just call me that!"
"You do realise that you have the same haughty tone as your sister," he commented. "Is she always frosty with people she barely knows or am I just lucky? I'm surprised I'm still alive to tell the tale given the looks she was shooting my way at the dinner table last night."
"It's difficult to tell with Rebekah," he explained. "There's a lot going on in that head of hers and if I had to try and explain it we might be here all day. Why exactly do you want to know anyway?"
"Just so I can avoid her wrath for the rest of the trip," he answered.
"Well, good luck with that, Lorenzo," he smiled, returning the favour.
He consulted his watch thinking it was probably time he had that chat with Caroline. He just hoped she would understand why he brought her down here.

Two of a kind
Tumblr media
By: Moon-Beam95
Fandom: The Umbrella Academy
Pairing: Klaus x Reader
Every child wants to be a hero, to have super-strength or to soar above the clouds, but let’s be real it won’t pay the bills. So when you realised you could see things others could not, you did the only logical thing and kept shtum. Like hell you were going to tell anyone about this freakshow. Thanks, but not thanks. Yet, you found that the older you became the harder it was to ignore them. The dearly departed wanted to talk, pass on message, demand that you help them, as if you owed them something. Fuck that noise! If they wanted your help they could damn well pay like every other fucker.
You started a sort of PI service, think Randall and Hopkirk, helped by the dead who you would then help, a little quid pro quo if you will. You had come to heavily rely on your powers a far cry from the child who was easily traumatised by the admittedly terrifying spectors. How do you tell the police that your sure your uncle murdered his wife when there was no proof, except his wife standing over him screaming obscenities, and gesturing wildly? How do you tell your parents that your not in fact playing make believe but playing with a lost little girl who never made it home? The one time you tried to explain, practically begging for them to say it would all be ok, they looked at you as if you were a monster, terrified beyond relief. So you sucked it up and laughed it off as it was all one big joke and never mentioned it again.
But like you said as you got older your powers grew stronger, which meant that the voices got stronger and you could slowly but surely could touch them, though this took a lot of effort on your part, easier for them to do damage. How do you tell the school nurse who slips you a pamphlet on abuse into your shaking hands, that the bruises littering your hands are from a man shot point blank by his lover in a jealous rage and not from an unfortunate home situation? Again, you don’t.
One of your cases brought you into contact with him. Klaus Hargreeves. At first you dismissed him as nothing more than another druggy, passed out in a literal shitty bin after coming down from a high. Yet, when you questioned the nearby girl, dressed in a ridiculously short dress, blood dripping from her sliced neck, needing to know if she'd seen the girl in the photograph you brandished, he reacted. He stopped whatever he was doing in the bin, peering over the edge and checking that yes you were talking to the dead girl, and clambered out of the bin. You tried to ignore him and the racket he created but he picked you up and swung you around squealing in joy.
“You see them too.”
Startled, you froze. It was then you noticed the ghost following him, oh great. You slapped his arm guestering for him to put you down.
“What the fuck man? Don’t go randomly touching strangers. I’m working for fucks sake,” you swung back around but the girl had gone, “Great and now my lead has gone. Thanks a bunch!”
He laughed, still giddy and clearly not at all repentant. “Klaus.”
“What” you said distractedly, not at all interested, mind already racing through other possible leads. A hand shot out and you took it out of reflex.
“My name, Klaus.”
“Y/N”
You turn around to head out of the alley, waving over your shoulder as he calls out.
“Wait. I’ve never met anyone who can see what I do.” You carry on walking, too far now to hear what his ghost had called out.
The second time you meet, you've managed to get yourself cornered by a thoroughly pissed of spirit. The fight hadn’t been going to badly, until you head a disgustingly cheerful voice shout
“Oi, weird girl its you.”
The spirit takes advantage of your distraction and he dives at you, slamming your head against the wall, hand encircling your neck. Screeching in your face, and let me tell you, ghostly spit, gross as shit. You rear back in what little space you have and slam your head into his, causing him to stumble. Ignoring the pain you start towards him but he fades with a parting -
“Bitch.”
You turn to Klaus head throbbing "You again. Really, what do you get a commission each time you fuck my case up?"
He holds his hands up, the ghost with him smirking. "Nope," popping the p, "But boy am I glad I ran into you. Also the ghost? How did you do that?"
"Do what?"
"Hurt it."
You quirk an eyebrow "can't you?"
"Nope, just hear them."
You shrug, "dunno always been able to, the more intune I became the easier it was."
His attitude did a 180 and he became quiet, subdued almost. "Can you. Can you make them stop?"
You gave a soft smile, pity blooming, you understood the need to drown everything out .
Feeling sorry you reply. "They don't ever really go but you learn to ignore them, a bit like background noise."
He sighs and the pity surges forth once more. You of all people knew how overwhelming the dead could be.
You reach down and shoulder your fallen bag, extending an olive branch.
"Let me get you a drink."
You look him over, he's still dressed in a long black, fur lined coat that grazed his ankles and trousers that looked painted on. He looks less high this time but the ghost still looks on with a concerned gaze. Your eyes flicker over to the hooded boy "and your friend."
"Brother" He corrects.
You wince, eyes closing briefly, but it does explain his constant hovering and Klaus' lack of concern. In my experience rarely did anything good from them hanging around too long.
The brother warily looks at you before tentatively reaching out a hand.
"Ben"
You smile back in what you hope is a comforting manner and give his hand a soft squeeze.
"Y/N"
His fingers tighten around yours as he looks at where your hands are connected mistified, while Klaus looks on longingly.
The walk to a nearby pub is quiet. The pub itself not so much. You both order and take a quiet booth in the back.
You sit in silence wondering how to broach the subject, him picking at the label on his bottle.
"How did you know you had powers?"
"How did you?" He asks back clearly reluctant but your willing to take a chance. You wished you'd had someone to guide you before you'd found Mildred. Still, you thought rolling your shoulder to relieve tension, better late than never.
So taking a deep breath you began. "It's always been there, figures in the corner of my eye. When I was seven I lost my aunt and police ruled it a home invasion gone wrong. But the next time I went there I saw her. Sat in her usual chair, head caved in. And I could see. I could see it. Shards of bone, brain matter leaking from the crevice." You pause taking a drink, trying to separate yourself from your memories.
"I scared the shit out of everyone when I screamed. She noticed I saw and began to shout, argue, swearing about uncle. I was terrified and begged to leave. They thought I was being a dramatic little shit, but I just couldn't stay there, it happened again and again every time they dragged me there. And each time my aunt got worse, more angry, more vengful and suddenly she wasn't the woman who baked cakes when I slept over or kissed my boo boos, she was this, this wraith."
"Well that sucks."
You snort. " No kidding, I always seem to find the worse ghosts. Wherever I go death follows."
He dropped his eyes and Ben liked on in concern, he was a quiet soul.
He began quietly. "When dad saw what I could do, when I came to him shaking and begging for help, he locked me in a crypt. No light, no nothing. Just voices screaming out." He paused here, taking a breath, giving a worthless chuckle.
"I musta been there hours, bodies screeching at me, all in different states of decay. When the door finally opened I was relieved but he just said, 3 more hours."
You jumped as he slammed his bottle down, cursing out, how could a man do that to his child. Reaching out a hand you caress his. He looked into your eyes and saw understanding.
"What a dick."
"You're not wrong. Then I discovered drugs and the high, the hallucinations drowned them out. So it was Hello drugs bye bye ghosts. And good riddance."
He looked at his brother smiling fondly. "Except Ben, no matter what he always forced himself through the drug filled haze."
"Mildred" you interrupted "I was 17 and my boyfriend, well ex-boyfriend died and completely lost it. He wouldn't leave me alone, he seemed determined to destroy my life. It wasn’t what your thinking no big acts of violence or anything, it started as just a few words here and there, constant muttering just at the edge where I had to strain to hear him. And i was just so happy he was there you know? It grew from there, it wasn’t some great battle it was a fucking siege. Then one night terrified and beyond tired I sat in the bath sobbing I just couldn't take it anymore, the constant whispering, I just wanted it all too end. Then she appeared, sat on the toilet, a bullet hole through the brain watching me. She taught me everything."
Klaus and Ben stared on in rapt attention, drinking in every word.
"Apparently she'd met someone like me ages ago, he'd helped her and so she swore to help those like him. It was little things, guided meditations. She talked about the veil a sort of in between where they reside. I hadn't really understood that at first, but I learned that the hard way. And above all she said your will had to be stronger than theirs."
"Well" he drawled "that sounds anti-climatic."
You shrugged a shoulder, " It worked, so I ain't complaining."
He took another swig of his beer and Ben latched onto an earlier piece.
"What did you mean you leaned the hard way about the veil."
You breathed out through your nose, "What we can do, walking among the dead, touching souls it leaves a mark. When we spend time convening with the spirits we enter the same state, were neither dead nor alive and that, that's what leaves a mark. "
They both quired a brow and despite the situation you had to stifle a laugh you could see the family resemblance now, they had similar mannerisms.
"When I was 18, I was still learning with Mildred, she had set me a simple task to help a spirit. He seems kind enough, he kept up a stream of chatter had he been alive we might have been friends." You laugh darkly, reaching up to scrub at your now stinging eyes. "He was so kind, and understanding, til one night I was in a motel, we've travelled to find some family of his. We were relaxing on the bed, and just as I was drifting off he climbed on top of me and smothered my face with a pillow. He killed me. I wasn't the first and he was beyond pleased when he heard there was someone who could interact with the dead. It was all kind of a haze what happened next, the was light so pure and happy, then pain and heat. Then a tugging sensation and I was back in body. I woke up in a dingy motel room, and the world was cold and numb."
"Jesus" Klaus breathed out. "What a wanker."
You let out a wet laugh, meeting his eyes you give a sad smile that could only have been gained through experience.
"Our powers, our gifts are in some ways the most dangerous, we walk along the living and the dead, yet we are neither. Unlike others, we can be hurt by the residents of both worlds, we have to be doubly careful."
"So we can't die?" He said, taking her word as gospel. There seemed like too many downsides to developing his powers, but for his brother, who spent his death watching over him there was nothing he wouldn't do. Not to mention that whole bit about light and pain and numbness sounded startlingly familiar, but for now that was going in the nope box.
"It seems so, I don't plan on testing it and I don't recommended you do either." You said tipping your bottle at him narrowing your eyes.
He lifted hand, "scouts honour."
"Please" you said " you weren't ever a scout."
You spent the night chatting, keeping it light hearted. The boys would tell stories of a superhero past and shenanigans they got up to. You shared stories of cases that took funny turns and embarrassing ghost requests. It felt so good to have someone who understood and a ghost who wasn't demanding anything or trying to kill you. But all good things come to an end and the pub began to close.
He stood drawing his cost around him, inclining his head "thank you for this love." Ben smiled. As they turned to leave, you found yourself doing something she never imagined doing.
"I could help. With your powers I mean. It'll be a hella lot cheaper than drugs and you maybe able to connect with Ben here more."
The brothers share a quick glance and both flash you excited grins. Klaus steps forward, slings an arm around your shoulders tugging you between the two brothers.
"Y/N, I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship."
End.

CHAPTER 20 HERE
Chapter 21 - Better the Bitch you know
Tumblr media
“I would waste time pretending that I am shocked to see you on their side but honestly Annabella you were never one with loyalty oh sure you would preach it enough, but you were always a backstabbing bitch! I mean look at you, Rebekah is supposed to be your one epic love and you’re currently carrying an antichrist baby courtesy of bedding her ex-boyfriend.” Rose snapped at her elder sister Bella furiously as she found herself behind bars within the dungeon located underneath the Mikaelson family’s compound, her sister standing in front of the cage door heavily pregnant and far from happy to be there. “I may be a lot of things but I would never play nice with our brother’s murderers.” “Oh, please do you suddenly not recalling killing our brother Magnus?” Bella was quick to reply, refusing to allow Rose to claim she was loyal to anyone. “Only you ever classed that troll to be a brother, I never really liked him not. Kayne was more family to me than any of you and as far as I’m concerned from the moment you did not join me to avenge his death is the very moment you became nothing more than somebody else on my hitlist.” Rose warned her, making it clear she no longer saw her as a family only as another enemy. “Just tell me where they are or at least where Rebekah is?” Bella pleaded with the scheming witch, desperate to find Rebekah and make sure she was okay. “I’ll tell you where Freya is,” Rose responded with a cruel and taunting laugh. “Ashes to ashes and all that.” “If you do not tell me where they are Primrose then I will have no choice but to force the truth out of you.” Bella threatened her younger sister, making sure Rose knew she was willing to go to any length to ensure Rebekah’s safety. “I’d like to see you try!” Rose replied, not backing down from her sister's threats, knowing she could endure any form of torture Bella had planned for her, knowing they could not kill her without getting the answers that only she had. Rose had taken down Elijah, Klaus, and Rebekah, hiding their bodies shortly afterward and after literally burning the eldest Mikaelson sibling Freya to death, she set her sights on Klaus’ daughter Hope but much to the scorned woman’s dismay she found herself overpowered by Hope, her wife Josie, and Josie’s twin sister Lizzie, who together managed to hold Rose long enough to reach into Rose’s chest and pull back out the bone blade that was making her even more powerful than she normally was. And so there she was, imprisoned but not defeated, knowing that those responsible for her brother Kayne’s death were suffering greatly over the loss of Freya, and Rose was determined to make sure that they would never find Klaus, Elijah, or Rebekah no matter what they did to her because one day she would escape sooner or later she always escaped and this time she was driven by an extreme sense of vengeance.
Elsewhere, in a realm which was not quite within our world while at the same time not being outside of it, Kayne awakened on a cold harsh ground to find Magnus stood over him before Magnus reached out his hand and helped Kayne to his feet which is when Kayne took a good look around his new location only to find nothing but debris, a place completely devoid of any life other than him and his brother with a darkened sky that had no stars or moon to be seen. “Where the hell am I? and why the hell are you here too?” Kayne questioned his brother, wondering what trouble Magnus had now got him into. “The place of our birth otherwise known as the demonic realm,” Magnus revealed to him. “I figured I’d help you out before one of those things decided to rip you to shreds.” “One of what things?” Kayne wondered as he continued to look around at his surroundings, attempting to work out how he wound up in the demonic realm. “Demons, our brothers and sisters I guess, or maybe ancestors I am still sort of catching up on all that.” Magnus continued with the shocking revelations. “We’re the only ones around here to have actual bodies which makes them super jealous and extra violent considering apparently we were supposed to unleash them back among the living where they could all get hosts.” “Yeah, I sort of remember the story, there is a lot of memories in one mind and things are kind of blurry when you just wake up after being murdered by someone you once loved,” Kayne replied, attempting to keep up with Magnus’ information. “I know that better than anyone else but luckily for you, I want to get the hell out of there and I reckon I’ll need your help to do just that,” Magnus admitted to his brother, making it clear he was not intending to help Kayne out of the kindness of his heart. “We’re not gods or demons or whatever the hell we were before we wound up here, I mean I would even place a bet we’re not even witches in this sordid little prison world!” Kayne told his brother, reluctant to trust him considering their complicated history. “It is a demonic realm, and you know that! So, how about you stop whining over the fact the man you once loved killed you and help me get back to making our family royalty once more while putting those undead creatures back in the dirt where they belong.” Magnus stated, making his intentions clear. “Niklaus may have killed me, but I still trust him more than I trust your hell at this point I would likely trust Annabella more than you,” Kayne admitted to his brother, making it clear he was not foolish enough to trust him. “However, I sure do not want to hang around here for much longer, so I’ll play along for now and if you get out of line well it is not like we have not killed each other before.” “I will take that as a yes,” Magnus said with a sinister sense of enthusiasm.
Hope Mikaelson loved her family more than anything but that did not mean they came without their troubles especially in particular her father Klaus who for reasons which were not entirely his fault was in and out of her life but despite this Hope was very much a daddy’s girl even after settling down and marrying her wife Josie, she would stop at nothing to ensure her father remained in her life. So, when she learned her father was missing, alongside her aunt Rebekah and her uncle Elijah she set out to capture the person responsible with the help of her wife and her sister-in-law hoping she could bargain with the centuries-old witch to get her family back in return for Rose’s freedom but as Hope quickly learned making deals with this particular witch was far more difficult than she could ever have imagined. “Look girl fair dues for living up to all that Tribrid hype surrounding you and getting the better of me but you have to be a colossal idiot if you really think I am going to spill secrets because of a little cage.” Rose taunted the Mikaelson Tribrid as she remained in the dungeon underneath the Mikaelson, with Hope now standing where Bella stood earlier. “Right now, your family’s whereabouts is the only thing keeping alive and as for freedom we both know I’ll get out of here sooner or later, so you got to do better when making a deal with this she-devil.” “Fine,” Hope replied with a sigh, clearly frustrated by Rose’s resilience. “Just tell me what you want, and we can get this all over with!” “I want my brother Kayne back, but your brother killed him for no other reason than he feared his power which is so damn predictable of your father. You may think he loves you dearest Hope, but he loved him too and that didn’t stop him gutting my brother like a fish the minute he felt he was a threat to his kingdom.” Rose revealed to Hope. “My father would never hurt me…but for what it is worth I am sorry about your brother. I know what it is like to lose the only family you have ever known, and I would not wish that on anyone! So, please give me mine back.” Hope responded, attempting to appeal to Rose’s softer side, hoping she had one. “My sister is a backstabbing bitch who played us like fiddles our entire lives and my other brother Magnus loathed myself and Kayne our entire lives…Kayne’s the only one who was always there for me, and your father Klaus took him from me. Even if I were to feel anything about your struggles, I cannot allow him to be forgotten.” Rose reluctantly told Hope, being as honest with her as she could. “What if I help you get your brother back?” Hope asked her, shocking Rose by her willingness, and kindness, something often rare within the Mikaelson family.
Klaus awoke within the woods of Mystic Falls late at night knowing instantly that he was in prison world’s version of Mystic Falls before he rose to his feet to find both Rebekah and Elijah stood there having clearly waited for him to wake up, both looking far from amused to be where they were, as anyone would be. “You just had to go and piss off the most psychotic bitch in that family!” Rebekah complained to Klaus. “I mean if you are going to kill anybody it should have been her, it is like you want us to go to war with them what the bloody hell happened to the Klaus who almost married into that family?” “At least I dealt with my witch Rebekah let us not forget that your witch is currently expecting your ex’s child which tells me Marcellus’ loyalties will be towards her and not us, so you better hope she’s the first one to love and not betray you!” Klaus snapped back at his sister. “How about we do not try to pass on the blame here when we all know all of us are as bad as each other? We should never have killed Kayne, he was by far the least evil of that bunch, of course, his sisters are going to want revenge we literally cut out the heart of their family.” Elijah chimed in, reminding his siblings nobody was innocent here. “Oh, please they’re not even related…or are they? It is so bloody hard to keep up with whatever the hell is going on with them.” Rebekah replied before going on to say. “Bella and Kayne were never the problems like always if Kol makes a friend they tend to try to kill us, actually if any of us makes a friend that tends to happen.” “I was the one willing to do what was needed to protect us all as always, do you think it was easy for me to kill someone I once loved? Someone I still care for so deeply? No, but I did it for my family because when it comes down to it always and forever always comes first.” Klaus argued with his siblings. “Well now we are probably going to have to kill them all even Annabella of course not until after she has her child which is a shame because she would have been a great ally to the family and the last thing, I want to do is kill a child’s mother,” Elijah stated, making it clear that his method was the only way for his family’s survival. “That is not happening!” Rebekah shouted defiantly. “You two are only alive because of those witches and one of them is only dead because of our family. For once we need to do right by them, not every bloody relationship we ever have has to turn into hatred.” “Rebekah’s right…for once! Kayne’s death was an end to justify the means and I will forever loathe myself for it so if we can we need to do right by Bella and hell maybe even Rose.” Klaus surprisingly agreed with his sister. “Well, we cannot right our family’s wrongs if we remain trapped here!” Elijah told them both. “Which means we better start looking for a way out.”
Hope decided to take a stroll through Lafayette Cemetery with Josie hand in hand after learning that was the last place her aunt Freya was when the wicked Rose Black killed her and so the youngest member of the Mikaelson decided to pay her respects with her wife deciding to join to provide comfort to the Tribrid when needed as Josie’s twin sister Lizzie stayed at the compound plotting with the upgraded original Marcel Gerard and Rose’s sister Bella Black. “Not to tarnish this moment by mentioning your aunt’s killer but are you really going to let Rose go free after everything she has done?” Josie questioned the woman she loved as they continued to walk through Lafayette Cemetery, as she wondered what the Tribrid was up to. “Of course, not but that crazy bitch is not going to help us unless she thinks we are going to help her so I just need to keep that ruse up until I get what I want from her, and then she will soon be as dead as her brother,” Hope replied, revealing her devious plan. “So, your solution to deal with your dad’s never-ending drama is to continue it by doing exactly what he would do? You said Marcel was like a big brother to you he’s supposed to mean something to you is he not?” Josie continued to question her, hoping her wife would not end up following in Klaus’ footsteps. “Bella hates her sister almost as much as we do and with her expecting she is going to be far too busy bringing up the baby to keep a centuries-old feud alive.” Hope tried to reason with Josie, knowing that Josie was right. “Rose is an evil bitch who deserves to die for killing Freya but if we continued to screw her over it is only a matter of time before Bella becomes an enemy too which will inevitably pit you against Marcel,” Josie advised her wisely. “I know that Josie, but I also do not know what I am supposed to do here,” Hope confessed looking to Josie for a miraculous solution. “Stop thinking like your father and start thinking like you! You’ve always wanted better for your family than endless vendettas maybe it is finally time to find a way of getting what you always wanted.” Josie replied, not quite giving Hope the answer that she wanted but giving her the advice, she needed to find the answer for herself.
It did not take Kayne or Magnus long to escape the demonic realm at all in fact it was rather easy, or so Kayne was led to believe. All they had to do to return to where they the so-called real world was to die in the demonic realm before they were possessed by the bodiless demons and so Kayne obliged in killing Magnus and reluctantly allowed Magnus to kill him, not knowing by returning to the land of the living he would also wind up permanently opening a portal between both worlds allowing the demons to pass through freely unleashing untold hell into the world, something Magnus had purposely forgotten to mention to his brother. “It was really that easy!” Kayne said in disbelief as he awoke in his body which was still placed in the cave where he was murdered but once he got to his feet the entire cave began shaking ferociously, almost knocking the male witch back off his feet and as the very walls, dirt, and rock around him began falling into itself, he realized the cave was collapsing and he had to get out there quick to survive. As Kayne climbed out of the collapsing cave, narrowly escaping with his life he fell to the ground and witnessed black smoke being released from the collapsed cave knowing that within that black smoke was the very demons from the realm he had just escaped from, as he realized he had just released hell on earth and played right into his brother Magnus’ hands but before he had the chance to worry about a potential demonic apocalypse he knew it was time to reunite with his family fearing the mess they had got into without him as he wondered whether it would be even more chaotic than the demons he and Magnus had just released.

Chapter 79
It's been a week since April made a deal with her father and two days since she moved back to her dad's place because that was how long the water supply has been without vervain.
School had started this week and things seemed to be back to normal, except April had to hide her relationship with Kol from her dad because she was afraid that once he would found out, he would kill Kol.
***
It was night, Elena and Elijah were walking around Mystic Falls, enjoying the quiet night and the small light the moon and the starts were offering with the clear sky.
Elena and Elijah decided to have a few night walks since she got back to school so they could have a moment just for them to spend time together, enjoying each other's company.
"The sky looks so beautiful tonight."
"It does. Just not as beautiful as you." Elijah whispered, making Elena smile and blush, then she leaned in to kiss him but she stopped and took a few steps back with her stomach, as she started to feel sick. "Elena, are you feeling alright?"
Before Elena could answer, she was throwing up blood and then she started to get dizzy, Elijah quickly ran to her and caught her before she could fall to the ground.
Tumblr media
"Elena? Elena!" Elijah called her out in despair but she was still unconscious.
Elijah grabbed his phone, calling Bonnie Bennett, grabbing Elena in bridal style as he waited for Bonnie to answer the call.
"Hello?"
"It's Elijah. There's something wrong with Elena."
"What? Where are you? How fast can you get to the Salvatore's boarding house?"
"I'll be there in 2 minutes." Elijah said. "Start preparing your books."
Elijah walked over to a car, broke the window of the driver's seat, hot-wired the car, unlocked the doors, opened the passenger seat, grabbed Elena and sat her then put the seat belt on her, then closed the door and went back to the driver's seat, driving as fast as he could to the Salvatore's boarding house.
Once he was there, he took Elena off the car, picked her again in bridal style and quickly went to the front door, kocking on the door so they would open the door. Bonnie quickly opened the door and her face was full of worry.
"I already got some pillows so she could get comfortable on the couch." Rebekah said with a concerned look, making Elijah simply nod and lay Elena down in the couch, making her head rest on the pillow and then he used the blanket Rebekah handed to him to make Elena more comfortable.
"What happened?" Stefan asked.
"I don't know. We were walking and talking and when we were about to kiss, she took a step back, frowning, and started to throw up blood, then she passed out." Elijah said.
"Do you think someone might have put a spell on her?" Bonnie asked.
"Who could possibly want to hurt her?" Elijah asked confused.
"Katherine." Bonnie said.
"Another one of your exes who might still have a thing for you." Rebekah said.
"One of your enemies." Damon said.
"April's father." Stefan said.
"That isn't important now. Bonnie, please help her." Elijah begged Bonnie and she nodded, then started to make a spell.
Things started to get too strong, making Bonnie bleed from her nose, the lights of the candles go up and even a window to shatter into pieces, making the wind move around them in full speed, then Bonnie passed out and everything stopped.
"Bonnie!" Damon called her and quickly got on his knees, wrapping his arms around Bonnie and pulling her to him. "Bonnie, open your eyes. Bonnie, this isn't funny. Open your eyes. Bonnie!" Damon got more and more worried by the second and then look at Elijah with an angry look. "If something happens to Bonnie, I'll find a way to kill you."
Tumblr media
"We need a stronger witch." Elijah said.
"Really? Bonnie is unconscious and that's all you can think about?" Damon asked angry.
"Everybody shut up! You are both worried with your girlfriends, I'll call a witch more powerful than Bonnie, and Stefan, you should text everyone to know what's happening." Rebekah said.
***
Everyone was now at the Salvatore Boarding house and a witch who was very powerful. The witch, named Katniss, was making a spell to see what happened to Bonnie and to Elena.
"So...?" Rebekah asked once Katniss finished the spell.
"Elena has been contacted by a very powerful witch and will only be able to wake up when the conversation ends. Bonnie is unconscious because she was trying to help Elena and got too intense because who ever is contacting Elena is very powerful." Katniss said.
"Do you suspect who this person is?" Elijah asked.
"No." Katniss said.
"Can't you just focus your magic with your ancestors and help us get her back?" Kol said.
"I needed the Ancestors just to not pass out like it happened to your Bennett witch." Katniss said.
"When will Bonnie wake up?" Damon asked worried.
"Give her a few minutes." Katniss said.
"Maybe it's best for you to stay in Mystic Falls for a little while, in case something else happens." Klaus said.
"Of course. But just because you were the one asking." Katniss said and winked at him, then left.
"What was that?" Caroline asked, feeling jealous.
"She had a fling with Nik. Did he forgot to mention that to you?" Kol smirked, making Klaus give his younger brother a deadly look.
"It was nothing, Love. She meant nothing to me." Klaus whispered and kissed her softly.
"You two solve your little argue. That's great! Now, can someone stop being useless and make a soup or something so Bonnie wake up and eat something. She'll probably be weak when wakes up." Damon said.
"Why don't you do it? We are not your slaves." Kol said.
"Because I'm going to take her to bed to be more comfortable." Damon said in an angry tone.
"Damon, don't worry. I'll make the soup." April said and Damon nodded and left with Bonnie in his arms.
"Niklaus, would you bring me blood bags. Elena will need to feed when she wakes up." Elijah said and Niklaus went to the basement to get the blood bags, but only because it was his brother asking, Elijah and Caroline were the only ones who Niklaus would let order him around.
***
Rebekah went to the library of the Salvatore's boarding house, hoping to find a book that would help them figure out how to stop this from happen again and how to protect her friends. Stefan followed her and simply helped her go through the books because he knew that Rebekah needed now was to have someone to support her and help her, instead of trying to make her forget about what was going on.
Damon stayed in his bedroom, watching Bonnie and making sure she was comfortable and alright, considering the whole unconscious thing. Damon only felt this scared of losing someone when Stefan would get in danger. Damon called everyone useless but was all because he couldn't stop feeling the most useless.
Kol eventually went to help April making the soup for Bonnie, letting Caroline in the living room alone with Elijah and unconscious Elena. She could see how scared Elijah was of something happening to Elena. Caroline was used to see Elijah always calm and being the one who would stop a sibling fight, but now Elijah was scared and couldn't hide his emotions like usual.
Tumblr media
"Elijah, everything will be alright. Elena will be back to us, sooner than you think."
"Do you really believe that?"
"Of course. She's strong. She'll be fine." Caroline gave him a small smile. "I know that we aren't very close. And to be honest, it's mostly my fault because you kinda intimidate me... but if you ever need to talk, I'm here."
"I appreciate it, Caroline." Elijah whispered. "And if there's anything I can do..."
"Just keep loving Elena like you do." Caroline whispered. "Being a vampire can be tough and she already went through a lot of pain. You made her accept and appreciate being immortal. You make her feel loved and that's all I want for her. She was my best friend even when I used to be a bitch to her."
"She is truly remarkable." Elijah whispered.

Best Friends Forever
Reader x Klaus Mikaelson
Tumblr media
*Requested smut, read carefully ;)
Imagine: You are angry because you ex seems to be really hitting it off since you two broke up. In order to help you through it, Klaus Mikaelson, your best friend, shows up in your place. There, he decides to come clean about his own feelings. After that, things get a bit hot in your room.
Word Count: 3043
A light rain was pouring outside, matching your horrible mood. Today you had the misfortune of bumping into your ex boyfriend, Matt Donovan, and, to make things even worse, he looked like he could not be any happier, babbling about his growing success. Like you wanted to actually know that! Urgh! And that son of a bitch still felt in the right to comment about your life and fucking laugh about it. So what you had been going out and drinking more? It was none of his business.
Taking a deep breath, you turned on the radio. Music helped a lot to discharge the anger and keep your emotions together. Right now, it was exactly what you needed. Luckily, your girl power song was on: Beyoncé’s hit Single Ladies. A smile fastly appeared, as you started to sing and dance along.
“Acting up, drink in my cup! I can’t care less what you think.” You swayed your hips to the tune and rolled your eyes, wishing you were telling him that. “I need no permission, did I mention?”
“I take you are in a good mood, Y/N.”
The singing stopped and strangled scream came out instead. It took a few seconds for you to realise who had barged into your room, invading your privacy. After the fear went off and Klaus was laughing out loud, you frowned, angry.
“This is not funny. I could have had a heart attack.”
“You’re a banshee, I’m pretty sure you are able to predict your own death.” You narrowed your eyes. “I’m just kidding! I came back town yesterday and heard Matt was at Mystic Falls as well. Thought I’d come to see how you were doing.”
“I’m doing peachy!”
“Do you want me to kill him?” He questioned, sitting next to you. “Because I’d gladly do it.”
“No. I don’t want his blood on your hands too. My friends already hate you enough.”
He chuckled at your remark.
“Are you okay?”
“I’m just mad he still feels like he has some sort of right over me. Matt even laughed when I said I had met somebody new.”
Klaus’ face twitched when you said that, almost as if he was jealous or something. But you had to be imagining it, since he was madly in love with Camille O'Connell, a bloody bartender he met back in New Orleans and the one responsible for stealing him away from you. Argh, you hated her and your bad luck with boys.
“Have you?” He asked, a hint of curiosity in his eyes.
“No… But I wish I had, so I would go out and show him off to everyone.” You laughed and he soon followed. “Enough about me now. Tell me, how is everything in New Orleans?”
“Fine, I guess, although I wish you would come to live with me. You’d be safer plus I wouldn’t have to be missing you all the time.”
“Aw, if that’s your way of telling me you like me, I’m loving it.” You hugged him, nuzzling on his neck. “Yet, I’m pretty sure you didn’t miss me so much.”
“Is that so, love?”
“Yeah, I bet you kept yourself busy hooking up with that Cami girl.”
Klaus giggled and stroke your hair, squeezing your body against his. It felt good to be there, inside his arms, feeling all the warmth he could provide. The best place on earth. Suddenly, you were taken from your thoughts as the blond pushed you off a little, just enough so he could see your face and run his fingers through your cheeks.
“You shouldn’t worry about that.”
“Of course I should, she has you all to herself.”
“No, she doesn’t. Cami was just a fling. Someone to pass the time with.”
“I thought you were in love with her…” You bit your lip, confused.
“Oh, I assume Elijah and you have been talking.”
“Nah. Rebekah may have slipped the information that you were in love when she came to visit me.”
“She speaks the truth. But it’s not Cami the woman I love.”
“Then who is it?”
“You’re so silly, darling.” His voice came out soft as silk. “Isn’t it obvious? I’m in love with you! Since the fucking day you walked into that bar and amazed me with your courageousness. I knew I had to have you in my life.”
A breath got stuck on your throat, which made a loud squeal come out. The whole situation was just too much to swallow at once. Your mind even rewined his speech, trying to make you understand what he had just said. Klaus Mikaelson loved you. His funny little human/banshee friend. A girl crazy enough to stand up for her own principles and give him witty responses. The only one able to love him despite his awful mood swings and dreadful need for revenge. Yes, despite all the times he hurt your friends and plotted evil plans, you still wanted him to be a part of your life. Heck, this was so messed up! Maybe you had some sort of Stockholm syndrome or something like that.
“Y/N?”
“W-What?”
“Breathe.” Only then you realised you were not breathing and was starting to feel dizzy. You let air fill your lungs, helping everything to work properly as before. “Feeling better?”
“You love me?” Your voice was still coming out as a high pitched sound. “How can you love me?”
“I can’t explain it… But I do. I love you. And I am selfish enough to need you by my side.”
“This is…”
Klaus did not give you time to finish the sentence. He smashed his lips against yours, his hands grasping your hair and pulling it. For a split second, you considered stopping him. You were not able to do that, though. Matter fact, it took only a couple of seconds for you to wrap your arms around his waist and kiss him as badly as you wanted.
“Klaus… We need to… Come on, help me a bit.” Your voice came out between gasps and his attempts to keep kissing you. He surrendered and let you free of his spell.
“I’m tired of holding back. You have no idea how hard it is to hide feelings.”
“Why did you do it, then?”
“You were with Matt.”
“So? That never mattered to you before. I heard what you did to poor Tyler just because Caroline loved him.”
“It’s… Different. I never loved her like I do with you. I wanted you to be happy.”
“OK, so we have caring and altruistic Klaus at once? I’m going to pass out.” He laughed and you joined him. “You know I love you too, honey. I just thought we were platonic. Like, friends and nothing else. Me, a nut job who had the guts to challenge a thousand year old original vampire would never have a chance with someone like him. Like you. So I settled with human and ordinary.”
“Don’t ever say that again.” He placed two fingers on your lips. “I can’t imagine no one who can match you. You’re meant to be extraordinary. A true queen. My queen.”
His grip tightened on your waist, bringing you closer. Now it was all about the senses, which were way more heightened. Klaus’ hot breath against your neck, while his stubble made shivers run across your body. Everything felt so perfect…
“Nik, are you really sure you want do this? Because once we’re in, there’s no getting out.”
“I’m sure. You’re stuck with me, Y/L/N.”
“I guess we should seal it, then.” You said, hooking your arms around his neck and looking directly at the intense blue of his eyes.
“How?”
“It’s better if I show you.”
Your hands slippered slowly through his body until they reached the tip of his shirt, tugging it. Klaus smiled and lifted his arms, helping you to get that part of his clothing off. The sight of him shirtless made you sigh, enchanted. No other guy you had hooked up with looked half as hot as the original vampire did. It was not fair!
“Like what see, darling?”
“Oh, yeah. But-am, I’d like to see more.” You bit your lower lip. “Take those off for me, please?”
He started unbuckling his belt and then, in a very provocative way, got rid of his trousers. While the Mikaelson kick it to one of the room’s corners, you thought it was not possible for someone to be this delicious. That pair of black boxers had your mouth watering just to see what was hiding underneath. You stood, walking towards him and began to feel his bare chest. The muscles tensed. Klaus approached your bodies by pulling you closer.
“You’re way too dressed for the occasion.”
“Then help me out of it.” You whispered, teasing him.
Suddenly the skirt your wearing was torn and tossed somewhere, your baggy shirt went alongside it. The same thing happen to the fine black bra and the thong you had on. The original hybrid grinned, maliciously. He did not spare time to touch your pussy. His fingers very urgent, which made you groan loudly.
“Oh, God!”
“Nuh-uh, babe. I want my name coming out of your lips.”
“Yeah, honey?” Your voice was soaked with pleasure. “I guess you’ll have to work for it.”
“Don’t worry, I promise it’ll be satisfying.”
Klaus grasped your shoulders, applying a fair amount of strength, and guided you to bed, where he pushed you so you would fell against the mattress. Once you were there, he spread your legs and started to trace every inch of your skin, so freaking slowly it was driving you mad. A grunt escaped, as a complaining for his method to deal with things. He did not seem to care, for the man kept having his way. He gave sloppy kisses on your inner thighs and his hands ran to your breasts, massaging. You stuck your fingers in his curls, every gasp was followed by your nails digging a little more deep on it. Finally he thought it was a good idea to cut the teasing and go for it. His tongue darted out your entrance, the tip playing with your folds and making you yell so loudly you knew your neighbours would come by to critise.
“Do you like that, love?”
“Oh, fuck, just shut up and keep going.”
The original laughed and went back to your core, this time kitten licking the soft nub in the centre of it. Your breathing became more irregular as he invested more rashly, which made you twist and buckle your hips against his face. The tension built up on your stomach wanting to be released. Though you had the feeling he would not give this to you so easily. Klaus pumped two of his fingers in and out of you, now spotting places you never noticed that were there before.
“Oh, baby… I can’t hold on any longer.”
“So fast, love? I was hoping you would give me time to enjoy as well.”
“Then fuck me, right now.” The numb feeling almost did not let you externalise your thoughts. “Please… I need you inside me.”
With a small nod, he took off his briefs and stood bare naked in front of you. “And that’s what I call a beautiful sight”, you thought, laughing on the inside. Klaus grabbed one of your ankles and, once more, opened your legs wide. Now it was time to do what you had been craving from the minute you saw him shirtless.
“Ready to scream my name, babe?”
“I think you’ll be the one screaming mine.”
Klaus grinned, grasping your buttcheeks and helping you straddle him. Once you were settled, the feeling of his bare cock touching your wet pussy was overwhelming, making both moan out loud. He helped to improve the pleasure by pressing your clit with his thumb, drawing small eight figures on it. Gosh, all you wanted to do was yell and ride him like crazy. Like he was the last man standing on Earth.
“Come on, love. I can’t wait any longer.”
“Oh, OK.”
You splayed one of your hands on his chest and used the other to lead his length to your throbbing core. Took only a split second for it to happen, but, when it did, you knew it was the best decision you had ever made. The Mikaelson was soft and warm, just like you imagined he was. Perfect. His large hands clutched your hips, making your body do the work. Your breathing came out harshly, it was pretty hard to do that when you were so focused on getting your pleasure.
“So fucking delicious, Y/N.”
“Oh-oh, Klaus!”
“Told I’d make you yell my name.” He winked and you laughed. “Fuck, babe.”
“I’m going to cum. So… Close!“
The pleasure sensation was spreading through your form, making you dig your nails so deep within his skin that you could see blood coming out. Of course you did not have any power to hurt him, well, at least physically speaking. Your true scream, the banshee one, could easily put him into a long sleep, but you had that under control, so you flooded the room with moans and gasps. Now the orgasm seemed a movement away.
“Cum to me, Y/N/N. As hard as you can.”
“Oh, f-fuck! Klaus!”
It was so wonderful that all you managed to do was curl your toes and throw your head back, claiming for mercy. No one had ever made you feel this way, not even Damon and boy he had a way with the ladies. You were truly amazed. However, Klaus did not give you time to digest what you had just felt, for he still needed his release.
“Just a little more, honey.”
“Cum inside my pussy. I want to feel how is it like to be fulfilled by an Alpha.”
“So smooth with the words, huh?”
Trying to rush things, you wiggled on his lap, this time being fully aware of his tight grip on your waist. A couple of minutes later, he clamped his lower lip between his teeth and screwed his eyes shut, cumming inside of you in hot spurts. But you wanted him to feel at least a third of what you felt, so you clenched your core around him, hearing the deep groan coming out as a response.
“God, I love you so much, Y/N!”
“Aw, I love you too, hun.”
A bit tired, you rolled to the side and closed your eyes for a second, maybe you could get some sleep. After that, it was the kindest thing you could do for your own body. The hybrid pulled you to lay on his chest and started to caress your hair. So lovely. It was the side of him nobody knew except you. And the main reason why you still believed he could be saved. Deep down, all he wanted was to be loved and you were more than happy to do that for him.
You blinked, sleepy, and started to draw small things on Klaus’ chest. Yet, before you could fall asleep completely, your doorbell began to rang and you covered your ears with a pillow.
“Oh, no! Who could it be?”
“Do you want me to answer the door?”
“Nah, I can do it.” You tried to stand, but your legs did not take it so well.  “This is so embarrassing!”
“Put this on.” He threw a robe at me, putting on his own briefs. “I’ll help you get down.”
He picked you up, bridal style and took you downstairs, where the doorbell kept ringing loudly. And, even though you were pissed off about someone ruining your perfect afternoon, you laughed at the way that the blond treated you. If he was trying to spoil you, Klaus was doing it perfectly. Close to the big white door, he put you down and placed a hand on your waist, helping you to stand firmly.
“Now, who is it… Matt?” You widened your eyes staring the man outside. “What are you doing here?”
“What is he doing here?”
“It’s none of your business.” Your best friend, now boyfriend, as you assumed, answered, grumpy. “Now why don’t you leave her alone?”
“Don’t be so rude, Nik! What do you want, Matt?”
“I didn’t want to do this in front of him, but, since I have to, here it goes: I want you back. Ever since we met earlier and you told me you were somebody else, I knew I needed to win you all over again. That’s why I’m here now.”
“Oh.”
“Again, mate, leave her alone. She’s not available.”
“Is that so, Y/N?”
“Yes, Klaus is my boyfriend. We’re together. And I don’t want you back. So get out my house!”
Matt opened his mouth, but was not able to say anything. Eventually, he left and you could not help but be happy you were able to blow him off like. Now your day was perfect. Klaus smiled and massaged your waist, kicking the door so it would close.
“I guess you are already showing me off.”
“I kinda am. But I want to go New Orleans and show you off to a certain bartender.”
“So jealous!”
“No, no! I’m just stating the truth: you’re mine now.”
“I truly am.”
The Mikaelson smiled and you tiptoed, pecking his lips.
“I want to go with you to New Orleans.” You whispered.
“We can go wherever you want to go.”
“I’m sure we can postpone that talk for later, right? Because I’m really feeling ready for a round two.”
“Here or in the bedroom?”
“Oh, on my carpet. This ought to be good!”
Klaus kissed you and, while he did it, you knew you had made the right call. No matter what your other friends thought or how they would react once they find out, that wicked man was your soulmate, your best friend, and no one, absolutely no one, could shake this love out of you. And you could not wait to tell Rebekah all about it. You laughed, getting back to reality and centred your attention on the bright blue eyes in front of you. Under that sight, you knew the fun was just beginning.
