What if Laura divorced Sid because she couldn't stand his verbal abuse of Johnny any longer. And lo and behold, she's finally free to go to one of Johnny's karate matches. Where she meets Kreese, who is his usual flirtatious self. (Sleazy yet charming?) They hit it off and after 6 months or so they end up getting married and moving in together.

Johnny sees a lot more of his Sensei. Literally. Sometimes he catches him walking from the bathroom to the bedroom or vice versa in the nude. And Sensei looks so good. He's in shape, muscular and hairy in ways that the boys at Johnny's school aren't.

He's noticed the way Kreese leers at him too. And well, perhaps Johnny dresses more skimpy at home these days (some days only in his tight underwear, blaming the hot weather), trying to show off and entice. It works. Kreese finds it hard to keep his hands to himself, sneaking touches whenever he can get away with it, and Johnny only encourages his behavior.

He's never jerked off this often in his life.

Johnny does feel guilty about doing this to his mother. But... Kreese was his Sensei first, before he became her husband.

Daniel would be so sweet, make you some tea or any snack you wanted. He’d run a bath, rub your back, he would even watch Mamma Mia with you or one of your other fav comfort movies. Maybe he’d have some sort of special thing he learned from Mr. Miyagi, like that green tea stuff from tkk3. he would make you feel special during your whole cycle, but especially cared for now.

Johnny would probably be a bit of an idiot. ask if you want some beer. he’d order pizza for you both and sit with you, put something on and hold you. maybe he’d help you stretch or something to “show those cramps you’re not a pussy.”

Terry would have top chefs making you foods that are good for your period, ensuring nothing could cause more cramps. he’d get a maid to run a very luxurious, lush bubble bath for you, he’d def give a really good massage, and probably want to have period sex to help with cramps? he is not squeamish at the sight of blood. he’ll either pamper you or pay to have you pampered.

Kreese would be surprisingly sweet and gentle i feel. if anyone gave you a hard time for not being so active and upbeat because of your period he would go ballistic on them and tell them that you can do things at your own pace this week. he’d def bring you ice cream, and ask if youre okay. he’d want to lay down with you and make sure your cramps arent hurting you too much. anyone or anything that hurts you is an enemy to him.

Young Johnny Lawrence:

You met at school, well, he saw you at school, you were too busy fighting the girls and their normal antics.

You were playing soccer with others while Johnny was too busy trying to catch the eyes of various other females as he stripped his shirt.

He tried to find every chance to get to you, and it wasn’t until he purposely slammed right into you with the claim of not seeing you while going to catch a football, did he finally accomplish his goal.

Knocking you to the ground, you easily got pissed and to his dismay, called him out on his bullshit:

“You did that on purpose, you Ass!”

“I didn’t do anything! It was a simple mistake, here let me help you up?”

“No, I got it myself, and stay the hell out of my way!”

From that day on, he was hooked. He didn’t know if it was your dominance and strength or your cutting edge demeanor; either way, he wanted you. BAD.

It was his duty to keep up on this game of cat and mouse, and each time, the blame was pinned on him (rightfully so) and turned away.

“Watch where you’re going!”

“Go torture someone else who’s more into you.”

“Leave me alone!”

It didn’t seem to matter what you did, he would always come back with these huge puppy dog eyes and a grin that could cut glass.

Maybe that’s what made you start to give into his charms?

When you finally allow him into your life, take you on dates and such, he often tries to pester you just to get you fired up. He thinks it’s hot, you think it’s utterly annoying and misleading.

“You’re trying too hard, Lawrence.”

“You’re pushing on the line of clingy.”

“Can I take a breather?”

Either way, you guys soon find a dynamic. Although you may seem self-centered and cruel to most, Johnny knows it’s just a perk that comes with the territory.

Whether this behavior was learned at home or by the way the world works, Johnny loves it and basically basks in it. It makes you tough, and like Sensei Kreese taught him, that’s what you need to survive; a skill Johnny has yet to master.

Older Johnny Lawrence:

As Johnny had aged, he learned the skill of having to fend for one’s self before tending to anyone else. This asset had instantly peaked his interest upon meeting you.

You, getting the job rather easily, tended to the children in the Cobra Kai dojo when class was in session, helping to guide and help instruct every motion the senseis provided.

Like younger Johnny, older version of him also found this very endearing and headstrong, allowing him to feel safe and comfortable around you, knowing you could handle yourself in most situations.

Yes, being egocentric is very selfish or self-regarding, but it works in his world. In a world where John Kreese and Terry Silver reside in, hell, even Daniel Larusso.

However, catch Johnny on a bad day, and that’s his favorite topic to target:

“You always so damn full of yourself?”

“Only when it means warding off self-centered pricks like you. You have stereotypes written all over your forehead!”

“You’re one to talk!”

“Like you have much to say in defense?”

In light of the topic, you’re both egocentric but don’t like to admit it (much to our dismay)

Besides your personalities constantly crashing, they also mesh well, having similar attributes that make you work.

ESPECIALLY when it comes to going head-to-head with Kreese and Silver. 

Johnny loves to step back and watch you fire on them, knowing that in the end, you’re seeking comfort for yourself of all things. You don’t let them corrupt you, which keeps making them come back, but Johnny knows where you stand. 

You’re loyal, and he couldn’t ask for anything better than a Bad Bitch like you.

During his teen years he had a lot of internalised homophobia due to Sid and Kreese. They influenced him a lot when he was younger.

He dated Ali because his friends were there at the time they started dating and he felt pressured. Ali found out pretty quickly and agreed to stay with him for a bit because she knew it was something he was struggling with.

He didn’t want to accept it at first and it lead to him trying to act too macho which lead to him acting like a dick and Ali eventually broke up with him. She didn’t say anything about him being gay but was still upset about the way he treated her because she thought he was her friend.

Bobby definitely knew about his sexuality but didn’t say anything because he didn’t want to scare him.

The big struggle started the day he met Daniel LaRusso.

He took one look into those brown doe eyes and was instantly gone for him. This angered him and he went into denial because he was also scared of Kreese finding out and hurting him. His anger and fear lead to him acting the way he did. His major feelings for Daniel confused him and he tried to convince himself he was jealous because Daniel started dating his ex-girlfriend.

He became a little obsessed with Daniel.

To be fair all of Cobra Kai we’re obsessed with Daniel.

He felt so angry at Halloween but also really guilty and pissed off at himself too when he later went home.

He still wasn’t able to admit it until he got much older and by then he had already had a relationship with Shannon and they’d had Robby.

He’s always felt something for Daniel and seeing him again ignited it.

Miguel often explains modern lgbt terms to him and can probably tell that Johnny has it bad for Daniel but doesn’t want to push it.

I think becoming a mentor to so many kids in the lgbt community and becoming proper friends with Daniel helped him come to terms with his sexuality. It was a journey but once he realised that Kreese was toxic and he needed to drop him he was able to heal and eventually his internalised homophobia started to fade. He was able to become more comfortable with himself.

Johnny still doesn’t know anything about queer people despite being one himself but he’s trying.

He’s shocked when he finds out that Daniel is bisexual and even more shocked when Daniel reveals that even back in high school when they hated each other he found Johnny attractive.

Once they start getting cool with each other they definitely start dating (Amanda and Daniel divorced but are still besties). Both of them still have a rivalry but it has more blatant flirting and sometimes their bickering ends in them making out.

They literally talk about each other all the time.

Johnny finally comes out about being gay and his relationship with Daniel after spending the day with Ali.

He considers Sam and Anthony his kids too after a while (he still finds Anthony annoying but finds the kid is growing on him).

To celebrate him coming out the kids get him a pride flag headband (I don’t know what it’s called lmao the thing Daniel wears) and he acts like it’s stupid but they can tell he’s a little touched. He doesn’t wear it but he keeps it in a special place.

He went to his first pride parade with some of the kids and Daniel to see what it’s like.

He gets a little giddy when he gets to refer to Daniel as his boyfriend. He once got drunk and started telling everyone that he has “the hottest boyfriend ever” and claiming that his boyfriend is better than anyone else’s. Daniel was mortified and kept apologising to everyone as he followed him but was really pleased at the same time.

They’re both referred to as the Karate Boyfriends by the kids.

What would Terry’s bachelor party be like?

― Twig undoubtedly is the type not to want to have a bachelor's party in the classical sense, because the only person he wants to spend time with weeks before his wedding, is the person he's marrying. Why? Because he's loyal, devoted, entirely besotted with boyish puppy love galore and wants every waking moment spent glued to his person's side, so really, nothing debauched is bound to happen. Not of his own volition anyway. No strippers jumping out of a cake, for example, even though he can more than afford an extravagant party, which, chances are, he'd be want to attend with beloved, even though, all things considered, that's not exactly how a bachelor party functions, but hey, try telling that to someone who is in love as much as a young Terry is capable of falling in love. Twig is very likely to go out with John, as the only male friend he holds dear at the time, or really, if we're honest, in general after the war. Have a drink. Toast for the good times. Talk. Reminisce. Perhaps make up for the lack of any festivity in the traditional sense by treating John to something grand as a way for them to kickstart and celebrate a new chapter in Twig's life together, doing so by spending money on John, even though Twig, generous as he is, should be the one receiving wedding presents instead of giving them --- something he absolutely insists shouldn't be the case because he's so happy he's getting hitched, he wants to share his joy in any way he possibly can. Afterwards, returning home to beloved with or without John absolutely sober, clean, very enthusiastic and eager to be married already, being entirely content with having no bachelor party at all, seeing it as a needless detour to what he wants --- what he really wants. And that is, as idealistic as it sounds, to be with his person.

― Terry Silver in the 80's is typically seen as something of a lascivious, unhinged hedonist, and while that isn't untrue whatsoever (and Terry himself prides himself on such titles to the highest possible extent), the same thing that rang true for him while he was Twig rings true now, except, somewhat flipped on its head; strippers do happen this time around. Sex workers, starlets, celebrities and escorts. The high end jet set of LA. Alcohol. Blackjack. Cigars. Cocktail gowns. Catered food. Personalized invitation cards. Limousines parked in front of the manor in the dozens. Waiters. Statues made out of ice. A privately commissioned band playing live music all night long. And a jacuzzi filled with champagne, for all we know. Terry Silver arranges all of this and much, much more --- but very much for the enjoyment of others. For his numerous important guests. Not for himself. It's a flaunting of money, power, prestige, unhinged fun that feeds into the whole playboy moniker he for sure garnered all while he doesn't really participate himself, even though...really...everyone would expect someone like him to, and for good reason. His bachelor party is the talk of the city. The talk of The Valley --- the whole State, in fact --- as the most extravagant, expensive affair of the decade where everyone who is anyone attends, but the man of the hour himself is scarcely seen without his beloved on the actual event; a twist few people expected. Truth is, Terry Silver has eyes only for his beloved and nobody else and chances are, somewhere in the middle of the party, he is likely to pretty openly disappear with them and be heard very ardently and vocally practicing for the honeymoon somewhere upstairs, in his mansion. He celebrates his bachelor party, in big style, in his own way.

― Old man Terry outright has no bachelor party to speak of either, not even formally, as a way to show off, no --- and this is exclusively by his own explicit choice and no force can dissuade him otherwise because he's a grown, mature man and feels he has no need to 'live it up' in the last few days of his singlehood and unmarried status, because he might be convinced he already lived large and lived fast all his youth. He has no desire to compensate for anything he hasn't already done by the tenfolds in decades prior. He views a bachelor party total waste of time at his age; in a chapter of his life when a man has nothing to spare and should, in his very own opinion, cherish every moment like the most precious luxury on the planet, he's undoubtedly already married and long since back from his honeymoon (with a pregnant partner, if at all possible, clearly working overtime) by the time anyone can expect any sort of stag from him or even have a single second to inquire about it (and even if someone does, he for sure charmingly directs the attention back to his newly-minted spouse instead, all while boiling below his nonchalant facade that someone even dared question him and his decisions). It is that easy for Terry. Time management's of the essence and he spends every moment with his beloved like he fears it could be his very last. Thing is, when Terry's committed, he's committed to the bone and when he's not committed, he's not. At any age, if he already reached the level of devotion where he's willing to marry someone and tie them to himself in every way one can be tied to another, he doesn't need anything or anyone else but them, growing absolutely singleminded in his objectives and his desires. No substitutes. No distractions. He knows what he wants and how he wants it.

Self indulgent reverse TKK thoughts where Daniel is in Cobra Kai and Johnny is in Miyagi-Do.

Johnny came from a different part of Cali and is trying to blend in (which is easy for him)—not expecting five boys to come around and push him for talking to a girl he just met.

He did some wrestling before, but karate? Nope.

Maybe he was a little rude, but getting pummeled by a guy way smaller than you in front of everyone is embarrassing and undeserved in his eyes. The boy was cute. Way too baby-faced and fluffy to be so damn merciless.

To his surprise, one of the boy's buddies helped him up—the one with bleached hair he thought was just having a moment of kindness until he used that same grip to tug him close and promise darkly that he'd be seeing them again—with or without Danny. Then tells him with a shrug and deceptively casual tone that Daniel is the nicest out of all of them, so keep that in mind, man. He meant the warning. Johnny sees them at school and at random. And it's when they're without Daniel that they're far more salacious to him. Even the one with longer hair, who seemed a little concerned for him before.

But Johnny wants to see more of Daniel, yet he doesn't at all. Daniel seems kind to others around school when he’s not…irritated about something. Flip that switch and he’s making you bleed.

The aggression is attractive and Johnny can’t help but like when it’s directed at him—just a bit. Underneath the pain of a bruise.

His Sensei is even more intimadating. Has the eyes of a predator that make Johnny freeze when he gives him a once over with a smile. Looks him in the eye the whole time as he tells Miyagi to make Johnny enter the tournament.

Daniel is struggling with his morals. He and Kreese are always butting heads, and some days he truly can't stand the man—but Cobra Kai helped him get stronger. Less movable. How could he just leave something that's done so much for him? He owes at least one more win to Kreese.

He's pissed, alright. Pissed about the wreck his relationship with Ali became and pissed that he can't get that stupid blond guy with pretty lips out of his head when he keeps showing up. Pissed about his so-called friends doing things without him.

Definitely not terrified of change.

He wonders what Johnny's lessons with Miyagi look like—probably dreamily calmer.

You found yourself outside of the nearby connivence store next to Cobra Kai, You were drinking a cold bottle of Gatorade that you had just bought. Unbeknownst to anyone else, You had just been dumped by your significant other after joining Cobra Kai. It completely destroyed you. Though, It wasn’t your idea to break up in the first place.

Your eyes were swollen and puffy from crying, This was the worst pain that you had felt throughout your life in this very moment. Well, Of course, You had experienced other traumatic events.

After downing the bottle of Gatorade, you stood up, getting ready to dispose of it before a 2009 Dodge Challenger pulled up outside of Cobra Kai.

Laying your eyes on the car, you realized who’s it was. Johnny Lawrence’s. The former sensei. You were quick to discard of the bottle before making your way back home, But you were quickly halted by the man’s voice.

“Hey!”. Johnny called out, shutting the door behind him as he got out of the car. “Y/N”.

You turned around to face the man, John Kreese had told all his students to avoid any contact with Johnny and you didn’t want to be the one to bend the rules. But, You didn’t trust sensei Kreese, not as much as you trusted his former student.

“Johnny.” You said, Your voice was rather shaky from all the crying you had did earlier. You braced yourself, expecting Johnny to start ranting.

Though, Johnnys angry demeanor seemed to falter as he saw your swollen and puffy eyes, you even looked rather tired. Eyebags accompanying you. He wasn’t the type to console others, he had a hard time doing so. But, You were one of his favorite students.

“What’s going on with you? You look like shit.” Johnny commented, walking up to you now and standing in front of you. “Have you been crying?”.

You furrowed your brows, quickly trying to wipe away your tears that seemed to stain your skin. As if it would even help. “No, I haven’t.” You denied, Clearing your throat quickly as you avoided eye contact.

“Bullshit.” He countered, narrowing his eyes. “You get hit? Some pussy mess with you?”. He asked, Still prying in order to figure out what was wrong with you. In this moment, you found it rather annoying than comforting. “You get a text from some asshole?”.

You were starting to get irritated, You felt a lump grow in your throat as he continued. “It’s nothing, it’s not important!”. You snapped, and suddenly, you broke down. You were trying to hold back your emotions for as long as you could, and hadn’t told anyone for days about what happened.

Johnny stood there, shocked for a brief moment before he grabbed you by your arm and sat down on the curb of the sidewalk. You sat down beside him, tears rushing down your cheeks.

You hid your face in your hands, sniffling shakily as the cold wind blew against your arms. You couldn’t believe you were in a situation like this, having to tell your old sensei about a shitty breakup. You had a feeling he’d just belittle you and drive off.

“Come on, Tell me what happened.” Johnny spoke, nudging you lightly with his elbow. His arms rested on his knees, his attention shifting over to you instead of out in the distance of the street.

Trying to collect yourself, you swallowed harshly before slowly removing your hands from your face. You didn’t face the man, instead, you looked down at the ground. Your lips quivering. “I got dumped.” You stammered out, your hands gripping your own arms. “I-I wasn’t enough for them anymore, we were together for so long a-and it all ended in a second over a text message because I-I wanted to be involved in something I enjoyed.”

Johnny was quiet, the silence seemed to make you rather embarrassed. “What an idiot.” He mumbled, shaking his head in disappointment. At first, you thought he was talking about you. But, He was quick to get rid of that thought. “Back in my day, we would break up with someone fact to face. Not over text.” He stated, looking at you. “I mean, it’s not like we could do it over text but if we could, that wouldn’t even be an option.” He added, shifting his whole body to face you.

You couldn’t help but let out a slight chuckle, brushing a few tears away from your cheeks. “Yeah, I-it was pretty fucked up.” You agreed, looking towards the man and into his rather piercing blue eyes that used to scare you. “I mean, I-I’d never do it over text.” You muttered.

“And they’re also an idiot for dumping your ass for a bullshit excuse.” Johnny said, “People nowadays are a bunch of pussies, lying about what they like or how they feel about someone. You’re a badass, not some loser sitting at home crying because they got called a wimp, nerd, or a loser.” He explained, “If you enjoy something and you want to go for it, go for it, if you love someone, you’re there for them no matter what and you encourage them to go after what they want. Not break up with them like a pussy. It’s not that you weren’t enough for them, they weren’t enough for you. They weren’t enough to stay by your side and cheer you on.”

After Johnny finished speaking, you found yourself feeling a bit better. Of course, you didn’t truly think your significant other was a pussy but— Johnny was right about going after what you want. Someone who truly loves you and cares about you will stick by your side, even at the worst of times. “Thank you, Johnny.” You replied, offering a slight smile to the other.

Johnny smiled back, “You can thank me by joining Eagle Fang Karate.” He suggested, looking back into your eyes. He seemed serious. “I made a mistake giving Kreese another chance, I should’ve gotten rid of that douchebag as soon as he stepped foot in there.” He mumbled, “But, I know that the ones who truly want to be a badass without being a complete asshole will come by, I’m hoping, you’re one of those people.”

Briefly, You looked away from Johnny, Looking at your options. You didn’t trust Kreese at all. You never did, and when Johnny left. You stayed by hoping that he would return. But, Maybe it was your turn to make a move and choose your own destiny. After a few moments, A smirk spread across your face, you looked back at Johnny. “Let’s get started then, Sensei.” You replied.

After the tournament of '85, Daniel had resorted to desperate measures to get all his former bullies to leave him alone. Permanently. But, somehow, the spell he'd found, and the amulet he'd worn while casting it had made his plan...backfire.

Spectacularly.

Daniel watched, bemused, as Johnny, Chozen, Mike and Terry (all very shirtless)—fought over who got to bring Daniel his Piña Colada, while Kreese hovered in the background constantly pulling his shirt on and off, at war with himself.

Daniel grinned.

Maybe having a harem of hot guys catering to his every whim wasn't so bad after all.

i think something interesting that s5 did was showcase terry silver’s loneliness and ‘breakup’ with kreese. above all else what terry wants is companionship- someone who loves and cares for him and sees him as an equal. kreese’s betrayal of his trust crushed him and he’s trying to work through that and prove that he can run cobra kai- this thing that was almost an act of love to kreese- without his help. when he meets chozen he almost instantly latches onto that companionship because they have a couple things in common, and does seem genuinely upset to find out that he was a mole and not his friend. his partnership with sensei kim seems to be just that, a partnership, and she in fact seems to prefer kreese as she expressed disappointment that he wasn’t there. (which terry notices, judging by his expression)

terry does all this to try and get over kreese, but i don’t think he’s ever gonna find someone to fill that void. he didn’t in the 30 years of kreese’s absence, it’d be silly to think he would now. he’s also trying to prove himself as a leader. there was the scene where terry and kim were doing a training exercise of pairing the students together as leaders and followers. some time after that a flashback scene of younger terry and kreese, terry expresses his desire to expand cobra kai worldwide. kreese tells him no, and terry says “i’ll follow your lead.” terry has always been the follower and kreese the leader, including in s4. terry’s trying to prove his ability to lead w/o kreese.

there’s also the issue of johnny lawrence, and the jealousy terry has for him. in the flashback scene of younger terry and kreese he’s mentioned, so kreese trained johnny for a lot longer than i thought. he sees him as his son. in the flashback the first seeds of terry’s jealousy are dropped, in a way johnny prevented cobra kai from expanding to what terry believed was its full potential. he also served as a barrier between terry and kreese, and terry could not handle the thought that kreese cared about someone more than him, preferred someone over *him.* he goes after johnny in s4 because he wanted to prove his loyalty to kreese. ‘look at this! i’m doing what he never could for you!’ kreese telling him to back down only solidified in his mind that he wasn’t valued as much by kreese as johnny was, which contributed to his spiral. in s5 terry openly shows his disdain for him, telling him how he never ‘got’ him being kreese’s best student, before leaving him to die. (and he calls both daniel and johnny stupid lmao) 

personally, i want terry back in s6. he’s a great villain and compelling character. i think at least some part of it should focus on his rivalry with kreese, and have them hash things out. it would be a dark route but honestly kreese and terry killing e/o could bring an end to the show (and the valley’s problems) while also solidifying their dedication to e/o. (nobody else gets to kill you but myself) BUT YEAH that’s my ramble on these two!! mental illness

like YES create a parallel/reference to Good Will Hunting, YES have the characters that already exist discuss which Gilmore Girls character they are, have the reader/protagonist be a big fan of Grey’s Anatomy and use Taylor Swift songs to help describe how the character feels in that moment.

Bonus points for a story that has other characters cameo, like omg Ferris Bueller what are you doing here??!
