So this portrait of Kurum is one of my rotting wips, it's been sitting there for over a year and while I'm very happy with it it was meant to be part of a larger work

I really liked putting his horns between the markings and the colouration makes me think of an old tree, if I ever do finish the full work then I'll just put it in that

1. Lady Bradshaw can have a sugar baby if she wants to(also she invited Ellis on the expedition and he's the only one who's explicitly on her side with her evil schemes)

Hannah Washington x Ashley Brown

1. Jock/Nerd but make it lesbians. It's so easy to imagine them having that sort of stereotypical sort of romance, with Ashley befriending Josh as an excuse to see Hannah more. She's sooo different to her brother, though, it makes it hard to find a good middle ground but by God if Ashley's not gonna try. They'd bond over having cheesy secrets they wouldn't let anyone else know about, lest they face relentless teasing... they'd be giggly and annoying to take any place when dating because they'd just get lost in each other's eyes all the time, to the point where conversations happen around them instead. They're just a really good idea okay.

Jason: I’M ABSOLUTELY NOT GAY I KISSED SALIM ONLY AS A FRIEND-- oh you said you are gay… good for you

Salim: I’m proud of you and I will always accept you, thank you for telling me! (after a few time, he will tell you he’s bisexual but he didn’t tell you before because he was afraid you would feel “less accepted” after coming out)

Eric: and who made you realize that? … maybe me?

Rachel: I know (she discovered it before you even realized it)

Kurum in House of Ashes

This past weekend, I finally got a group together to play “House of Ashes”. It was my sister’s best friend and three of my younger cousins (won’t reveal their names out of privacy reasons). 

For character selection, since I was hosting game night, I decided to choose last. This was what we ended up with:

1) Sister’s best friend picked Jason Kolchek because we started doing the “Press X to Jason” meme.

2) Cousin 1 (who is the younger brother of Cousin 3) picked Eric King because he looked like Tom Cruise. There’s a joke in my family that my uncle/cousin 3′s dad looks like the Filipino version of Tom Cruise.

3) Cousin 2 picked Rachel King because she likes playing as female characters.

4) Cousin 3 (older brother of Cousin 1) picked Salim Othman. Why, I don’t know.

5) Which left me with Nick Kay. 

6) For the prologue section, one of my other cousins decided to play as Balathu. We gave him Balathu since he wasn’t going to stay the whole night

We got up to the assault chapter, which was right before Salim and Jason formed their alliance. So far:

1) Everyone is still alive! It’s a miracle that we’re doing so well.

2) Character relationships are really down lol. Cousin 1 is playing Eric as an arrogant jackass, Cousin 2 is trying to end her marriage with Eric, Cousin 3 is playing Salim as a two-faced soldier (he shot down the American helicopter and then fought Dar), sister’s best friend is playing Jason as a supreme asshole (she destroyed the shepherds’ effigies lol). I’m the only one who is trying to play nice.

3) My cousin who played Balathu decided to betray Kurum. So the Ancient One in my playthrough is Balathu. It’s kinda cool since I always see Kurum as the Ancient One in other playthroughs. 

4) Aside from relationship decreases, we’re all playing a little selfish. Cousin 2 abandoned Clarice at the rope scene and sister’s best friend left Merwin behind (which did save Eric). The only times where we decided to save a character was when it involved one of our own. 

We’ll try to finish the game this weekend. Fingers crossed that our luck holds out long enough for all five characters to make it out?
