If you are from a country with Christian traditions, you probably know about the celebration of Epiphany, the "king cake", and the tradition of the "fève". You know: the "fève", as we call it in France, is this little figurine, this tiny statuette that is hidden in the king-cake. And whoever gets it is crowned king or queen of the day.
France has a big Epiphany tradition, and is also very, very big on fèves. You've got tons and tons of various series and models depending on the time period and area. There's old classics, there's vintage models, there's rarities not found anywhere, there's novelties responding to modern-day movies. You have fèves depicting all sorts of subjects and themes ; and entire collections and museums dedicated to fèves.
Fairy tales are, of course, one of the big subjects of fèves. I find it quite interesting to look at the fève series adapting fairytales. Well, you have to avoid a lot of series which are explicitely derived from either Disney or Shrek (there's a LOT of Disney and Shrek fèves), and you get several lines of fèves directly working from the original stories.
For example, look at this first series. "Les contes de notre enfance", "The fairytales of our childhood". Contains Little Red Riding Hood, Sleeping Beauty, The Frog Prince, The King of the Golden Mountain, Snow-White, Cinderella, Puss in Boots and King Thrushbeard.
Here is a "Puss in Boots" line, including Puss in Boots, The Princess, the Marquis of Carabas, the Ogre, the King, the Lion, the Mouse and the Carriage.
"Comptines des rois" - "Nursery rhymes of the King". A quite large collection, which includes Little Red Riding Hood, Peter Pan, Alice (of Wonderland), the Beast (from Beauty and the Beast), Riquet with the Tuft, Snow-White, Little Thumbling, Sleeping Beauty, Aladin, Mowgli (from The Jungle Book), one of the Three Little Pigs, Puss in Boots, The Little Mermaid, Pinocchio and Cinderella.
Here is a different Puss in Boots line - with an introduction fève with the title, a castle-fève, 2 different Puss in Boots, the Ogre, the Mouse, the Princess, "the Prince", the Carriage and the horses going with the carriage.
Another "Les Contes de notre Enfance" line, different from the one before. Includes Little Thumbling, Cinderella, Puss in Boots, Bluebeard, Donkey Skin, Little Red Riding Hood, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Little Mermaid and Beauty & the Beast.
A "Little Red Riding Hood" line - with two different Riding Hoods, four different Wolves, a Granny, the Basket, the Little House, and the Hunter.
A "Little Thumbling" line, including: "The Little Thumbling", "Pierrot", "The Twins", "The Ogre", "The Ogre's Wife", "The Woodsman", "The Small Ogress", "The Woodswoman", "The King", "The Princess".
Yet another "Little Red Riding Hood" line with: 2 Little Red Riding Hoods, a Wolf (+ a "Wolf as Grandma"), a Grandma, a Hunter, a Woodsman, a Mother, a Granny's House, plus a fève for the Galette and the Butter.
Finally, a Cinderella line. Includes: 2 different Cinderellas, a Prince, a Carriage, the Stepmother, the two sisters of Cinderella, the Fairy, and the Pumpkin (includes the mice). Plus a "glass slipper" fève.

Rook x Flora!Like Reader
@stygianoir
This is the last one they requested. I had to reread chapter five to get a better idea of how to characterize Rook, sorry it took so long.
Also, as somebody who was in French Immersion and switches to French when I genuinely cannot think of the English word for something (despite English being my birth language🥲), this was fun to write!
It was a soothing day.
You and rook were in the woods in his homeland - you were sitting with your back against a tree sketching while Rook told you about different animals with his head in your lap.
You shot him a smile around your sketchbook. He truly was beautiful despite his odd tendencies of stalking those who he found interesting.
(You still couldn't get over the time he fell from the tree outside your classroom window.)
"Mon Amour? Are you alright?"
"Yes, I'm fine Rook."
He looked concerned for a second before smiling and continuing to tell you facts about wolves.
"So, les loups can swim for up to huit miles, and their packs can be as low as two, up to roughly thirty! They have 200 MILLION scent cells. Their howl can be heard from up to ten miles away, although they can only hear around six!"
You giggled at how excited he was to tell you about this. His bow was resting at his feet, in a way that made it convenient to pick up if he sat up and needed to get it.
So far he had told you about foxes (the word he used to describe their sound being glapit?), lions, crocodiles and even partridge's
"So, how far away do you think Jack - that first year from Savanaclaw, the wolf beastman - would be able to hear?" you pondered as you switched shades of green for a darker one.
"Hm, I'm not entirely sure. I wonder how many teeth he would have now....Roi Des Lions has 31 - which makes sense given that humans have a general amount of 32 and lions tend to have 30..."
Your hand paused on the page. Rook had counted Leona's tee-
Actually, that wasn't too surprising given that he had told Malleus Draconia, of all people, he wanted to hunt him.
You set your sketchbook down to run your fingers through his soft hair. "Rook, never change."
"No worries, Reine de la nature~ " he grinned. "I have no such plans."

Rook Info Compilation Part 1: Nicknames and Hunting
Rook Hunt is the vice-housewarden of Pomefiore and consistently refers to him self as 愛の狩人 / le chasseur d'amour / the hunter of love.
While both Floyd and Rook both have unique nicknames for everyone around them, Floyd never uses anyone’s real name at all (with the exception of Azul and Jade), while Rook will shift freely between first names and names of his own creation.
(On NA Vil is the exception to Floyd’s rule, but that may be less canon and more continuity issue)
Rook’s nicknames are not always the same on both servers. While Trey’s Chevalier des Roses and Leona’s Roi de Lions are the same, Jamil’s Monsieur Multi (NA: Monsieur Pyramide) and Jack’s Monsieur Tough Guy (NA: Monsieur Fier a-bras) are not. His name for the player is Trickster.
Rook's NA nickname for Ruggie is a trilingual pun: Ruggie is Monsieur Tanpopo on JP, which is Japanese for “dandelion”, as Rook once found him looking for dandelions to eat. On NA he is the French word “Dent-de-Lion”, which is also “dandelion” but also, literally means, “tooth of the lion”.
(Like Floyd, however, Rook’s nicknames are also met with the occasional continuity issue. He shifts from Dore to Doré (I have been told that d’or might actually be what it’s supposed to be) with Kalim, and from “Roi de l’Effort” to “Roi de Fort” with Azul (a French speaker once told me that it would “Roi du fort”, not “de fort”, but “de l’Effort” is both grammatically correct and probably what Rook is going for, since this is Azul.) Floyd refers to him as Seagull.
Rook is originally from Sunset Savannah, along with Ruggie and Leona. He has exceptionally good eyesight and hearing, which are referenced fairly often.
In a voice line he says, “I suggest you wear a hat. The glare makes it hard to see your prey”, which is perhaps part of the reason why he wears his own. In a chat Rook says he wears it because he considers "the huntsman who served the Fairest Queen of All" to be a "font of inspiration".
He has an excellent sense of smell and dislikes garlic for impeding his ability to hunt.
