I found out that Adam Rosner has created a new Tumblr account. Using his full name, I’m not tagging him here. Why? I can only make assumptions. Maybe because he’s trying to rebrand his Search Engine Optimization. Maybe he’s trying to clean up his social media presence (he’s posting about diets and gardening, etc). He knows he’s already been written out of the Slenderverse history books, for good reason too.

Yes, he’s an optometrist. Adam Rosner is a doctor in optometry. I haven’t the slightest idea who the fuck would hire him. Especially in the New York City area. If you live in New York City, I would highly suggest to NOT go to his practice. Especially if you have children.

The reason I’m posting this is because I want to recommend to everyone NOT to interact with Adam Rosner. If you don’t already know, Adam is probably the most disgusting piece of shit I’ve ever had the displeasure of meeting. He is dangerous, malicious, evil, predatory, fucked up, and a narcissist. I would not put it past him to take advantage of you. I’m begging of you, don’t think you’re immune to him.

Hearing you talk about not enjoying studying art is such an amazing feeling, my imposter syndrome is through the roof since traditional studying just doesn’t click for me. It just makes me hate what I’ve drawn and feel so frustrated that I don’t take in anything. I’ve been unable to find my love for drawing recently and you made me realise that it’s because I’ve been forcing myself to study a lot more or paralysing myself with the thoughts that I SHOULD be doing something when learning through doing something I enjoy is always going to be better. I’m so glad I’m not alone with that oh my god.

I'm glad it's something you can relate to! :') I don't think it's something to feel bad about or feel "less than" for. I spent way too long feeling like that, and it's such a useless feeling; it belongs in the trash. I never picked up a pencil as a kid thinking, "Man, I can't wait to draw 117 thumbnails with three values to learn the basics of values and contrast."

Art is just not something I want to bother with studying. I do that plenty for optometry, which is something I study HARD because it makes sense, to me, to study it. Art is something I learn by doing, and if I were to dissect it like I do with the eye, then it would become clinical and no longer a creative and free thing I do whenever I want to.

Hence why I'm also not drawing at the moment—I simply don't have the energy or feel like doing it, and I don't want to feel bad about that. I'm not less of an artist just because I've "only" done like 2-3 sketches in a couple of months.

If you know me from primary school, you would know that I am not a spectacle wearer. Oddly enough, I started wearing glasses when I entered Optometry school. My first ever prescription glasses is during our training before entering clinic year.

Truth be told: I hated wearing my glasses. It wasn’t how I imagined it to be in elementary where those who wear frames look smart. I didn’t like how I look with glasses. Mostly, I hated how I now have to wear my specs to see things better and avoid having eyestrains.

Overtime, wearing glasses before my 5th year started was a blessing in disguise. Through this experience, I developed a deeper appreciation for lenses. I have gained empathy in personally getting to see a fraction of what my patient’s have to deal with to carry on with their everyday tasks. Through this experience, I saw firsthand how even a small amount of grade can change a person’s life. That spectacles, when dispensed properly, can create a lasting impact. I gained interest in binocular vision. I always re-check, refine, and balance my refraction. I search for frames that will complement the face shape of my patients. I try to do my best during patient education—noting and customizing what I say depending on who my patient is.

Ever since this semester has started, I have felt disappointed at myself for not reaching certain things: may it be on patient handling or scores on a quiz. But just like my first pair of prescription glasses, these too have been blessings in disguise. Lately, I have learned to embrace my life when it’s worth celebrating, and even when it feels like it’s falling apart.

SATURDAY'S SAD SALUTATIONS

I just learned that a friend of ours from California passed away. I've been thinking all morning about what a special person she was.

She was on the spectrum and could come across as anti-social. In the beginning we butted heads a little bit, but the more I got to know her the more she fascinated me. In time she became one of my favorite people at the cat shelter.

Once you broke through the gruff exterior you learned that she had a wicked sense of humor. She could pop off a one liner that would leave me rolling.

She was incredibly intelligent, and if you got her started on a subject that interested her she could make your head spin with how much she knew. Birds and optometry come to mind off hand.

And music. She was a virtuoso of ragtime music, and you can find some of her work on YouTube. Once a year she went to a big ragtime festival to share her love of the genre.

She had a thing for Siamese cats. Siamese, like her, weren't for everyone. She called one of hers an asshole, but it was her asshole. They have a unique, demanding voice that she said was music to her ears.

I often use satire in my posts, but she saw the world in black and white so sometimes she would respond to something while missing the humor or the subtlety of the post. I even miss that.

I miss her. I miss her bluntness, her honesty, her humor. The world has lost a truly unique person. We need more uniqueness.

Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to offer a toast to a beautiful soul.

Paul matthews has four brothers. Every single one of them is somehow connected to a lord in black based off a weird system I made in my mind to explain this very large OC family tree I've made.

He has one older brother who is dead named Richard Lipschitz, who Richie took his name after. (That's why Richie lives with Paul, both his parents died and Paul was the only brother old enough to be his guardian.) This oldest brother was offered up to Wiggog Y'wrath because he was the first son and he had first dibs.

Paul of course was promised to Pokotho by his parents, and because he was simply exposed to so much music and theatre as a child he learned to hate it which is why he hates musicals. He was only 20 years old and barely in college when he had to adopt Richie and quit school to get a job at CCRP to support him.

Now I'm going to write about Paul's younger brothers in order of age.

Starting with Gary Goldstein (I refuse to let this headcanon drop. They are estranged brothers. That OR the clone theory but Shhh.) Gary is connected to Bliklotep and struggles with paranoia from being able to see better than other people which is why he wear glasses that aren't his prescription, he wants to worsen his vision. Because of his paranoia and anxiety he struggled with shaking hands for years and was never able to get the degree in optometry he wanted and so he settled on law and poured his heart into it.

Timothy Baker, Timothy is connect to T'noy Keraxis and is an electronics maker deep in the heart of Hatchetfield (specialist in clock of course.) He's never late, alaays exactly on time. He has one child named Daniel (also known as Stopwatch) and despite his failing business him and Daniel live well from Daniel's battles at the old roller rink.

Finally we have Nathan Finn, the youngest at 28 years old who is the chosen of Nibblenephim. He killed his own (pregnant) wife once she found out she had cheated on him and then ate her. He's been a cannibal for years and owns most of the nice restaurants in town, even co-owns Pasquali's with another man. He's very successful and almost always has a smile on his face to present to a customer. He has no children and generally avoids people under the age of 18 because he finds them incredibly annoying.

All five brothers have matching tattoos of the pentagram depicted on the black book that they were forcibly given as children. Their parents were original members of The Church of the Starry Children.

I always do ridiculous levels of research for fics even if it's unnecessary for the plot to naturally progress (like learning how a phoropter works and where it originated, in case Bruce wanted to infodump 💀) so it was really cool to see that the fic events actually lined up with someone's experience.

Hi, I'm from Shang Simla and I love your amazing mods! Thank you so much for your great work in TS3. These are some of the most creative and powerful mods I've ever seen and they give me so much fun in my game. I translated several mods into Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese, if you don’t mind, could you please give me your email address so that I can send you translated SBLT files? maybe you could add them next time you update mods. Also I encountered some minor issues while playing, here’s the list.

Student Counsil: Successfully held campaign "Feedback Day" doesn't bring a day off for school.

Private Clinic:No orange and white lifeguard sign blinking over the head of waiting patients.

When therapists give individual counselling to patients, no thought/speech balloons pop out over the patients' heads.

Offering psych evals will trigger EA interactive "inkblot test', or just inform me "There's not much more useful information an evaluation can provide your doctor".

Even if I turn off the clinic controller, waiting patients won't leave the lot autonomously.

The interaction, "Teamocil" in hospital or grocery store, always displays as "Teamocil" in English, despite I've translated its object package files.

Religion:

When clicking Mausoleum RH to donate, the donation amount is random, sometimes can be zero or a negative number.

Neither peteran nor nonbelievers receive moodlets from giving to the church, or their moodlets disappear the moment they exit RH.

To test these mods, I intentionally removed old saves and other functional mods, keeping only a few essential mods. They should theoretically not conflict with each other, here's the list:

store item fix by phantom99 I tested three saves on three different computers, and all of them had these issues. Not sure if I did something wrong or missed any steps, but perhaps you could fix them in the future?

But this was noted in the testing for the Optometry module so I've implemented this in the next version of the clinic where patients will be pushed to leave the lot after being treated or if they are on the waitlist and the clinic is closed.

Since Teamocil is a brand name, I didn't think it needed translating but I guess even brands are translated into other languages so I've noted this for a future update. I'm curious to know what you would use as a Chinese translation. 🤔

Donations will always be random and are based on current mood, traits and household funds. So they can be zero but shouldn't be a negative number, that part is a bug. So noted for fixing in the next update.

Neither peteran nor nonbelievers receive moodlets from giving to the church, or their moodlets disappear the moment they exit RH. NEED MORE INFO to know whether this is a bug. Getting a moodlet isn't guaranteed and the timeout length is linked to the amount donated but if no matter what amount, the moodlet is always disappearing once they exit the rh, then that sounds like a bug. Please let me know.
