I was rewatching 4x13 and you can see the moment Klaus loses his mind and practically disassociates from everything after seeing Caroline and Tyler cover his brother's corpse. Even the music tells us this.
And then obviously when Caroline was dying he was pulled out of it and realized what the fuck he had done and you can also see that on his face and on how he strokes her hair. He is like "I almost just killed her, I ALMOST JUST KILLED HER"
Idk, I mean I always knew this but somehow rewatching all of it just... made it clearer in my mind, just how out of it he was.
You can see how the whole world just faded to the background and all he could see was RED because of his brother's death

Captain Robert "Bobby" Nash - 7x8
Unpopular opinion: Bobby's 7x8 storyline should have been included in season 6!
IMO, Bobby's 7x8 storyline should have been done in season 6 instead of that mess they did with Wendell. Until 6x9 aired, NO ONE had ever heard of Wendell. He was made up and to prove it, in season 1, Bobby used to talk to his priest for counseling but the audience never saw or heard of Wendell until he just showed up and was supposed to have a long-lasting friendship with all of the Grant-Nash family. May even knew who he was but the audience didn't. It appears he was created out of thin air and used as a connection device for Buck's death in 6x10.
In 7x8 the audience finally got to see snippets from Bobby's past including his childhood but the issue for me was Bobby mentioned he was from a legacy of firefighters in season 5 but REMINDER, Bobby hadn't had a storyline all his own since season 2. Every storyline he had after 2x16 "Bobby Begins Again" involved his wife Athena (rightfully so), Michael, Buck, his stepchildren May and Harry and the 118. Even his 4x13 and 4x14 storylines were about the issues in his marriage with Athena before he got shot by Ethan Copeland. In season 5 he saved May in the dispatch fire in 5x16 and he punched Jonah in 5x17 but that was AFTER Jonah adult napped Hen and Chimney.
My point is Bobby's storyline would have gone over a lot better if it had been included in season 6 and IMO, it would have been a better narrative point to connect with Buck's 6x10 storyline. Bobby's biological father died while Bobby was at home with him and he idolized his dad because in his eyes, his dad couldn't do any wrong. The details included in 6x11 for Buck would have been more impactful and emotional if they had been related to Bobby's past relationship with his own father instead of the show trying to redeem the Buckley parents without giving them a proper redemption arc.
No one knew anything about Bobby's past childhood until 7x8 and that's ridiculous especially since Bobby spent years without a storyline all his own.
Also, Malcolm-Jamal Warner is an A-LIST actor but he's only going to be in three episodes. But they keep bringing these non-acting people back who scare the audience with their joker-like smile because they don't know how to deliver a line from a script (EG).

I knew I'd enjoy the scene in which Jed confesses his feelings for Ben, but I had no idea just how meaningful and beautiful it would be.
I'll admit that I didn't expect that Jed would kill his father instead of his crush/friend, but I'm really glad they went in that direction. It's far less cliché. I'm also appreciative of the fact that they showed us where Jed's bullying behavior came from. But, most of all, I love that Jed was given such a realistic and gradual redemption storyline. And that his acknowledgment that he was a bully was tied in with his acknowledgment that he's attracted to men. That he was able to cast aside the shackles of his shitty father's influence, and embrace a side of himself that's beautiful.
Here's my favorite bits of the scene:
I adore the affection in Ben's eyes here as he's watching Jed grow emotionally.
And I appreciate so very, very much that Ben was aware of how hard it is to come to terms with not being straight
But Jed just falls right into him.
I loved it all and I'm so impressed with how this was handled. Well done, Legacies.
