actually I'm kind of curious about this because it was a huge debate among my peers in my community

Clarifications under the cut:

The poster is in a public space where it is typical for everyday people to post things. It is not someone's private property or possession. Think piece of paper taped to a telephone pole, not sign in a storefront or in someone's yard.

The poster is not protected by law; you are very unlikely to face legal consequences for vandalizing it. Caveat: some peers have argued that it risks being socially consequential because an organization or demographic that you are a part of may be judged as intolerant/oppressive/disruptive/otherwise unpleasant if people witness your actions, and thus advocated against vandalism for fear of damaging your public image.

The poster is not an expensive or personal piece of artwork; it is a mass produced print on letter paper.

You are vehemently opposed to the message displayed on the poster, but it is an opinion that people are free to have in your country.

The 4th option refers to things like intentionally putting your own poster over top of the bad poster or otherwise making the bad poster harder to view; some people argued that targeting the poster for removal is out of line, but posting your own messages is an innocent action that you are well within your right to do (in this context, posters regularly eclipse each other as new ones are posted over top of outdated ones due to limited space)

The poster is part of a campaign; it's not unique. There are many postings of it across the community.

This is all assuming that the offending poster is not old and would typically not be considered fair game for pruning for quite some time, and that it is being specifically targeted for removal because of its message (rather than petty vandalism or because it's obstructive or damaged). E.g., if a poster is advertising an event happening on April 20th, it's typical to prune it after that date but not before.

Of course the situation that prompted the real life debate did involve a specific offending message, but I'm not going to specify what it was for now because I think it'll skew the results as people will just end up voting based on whether they like or dislike that message, which isn't the point of this. For this poll we are assuming that it IS a message that you are very opposed to; you can substitute in your own opinion that you have strong feelings about.

They most likely ended up having offspring, initially to give in to their parents' relentless pressuring, but later found out they're both good with children. Right now I'm thinking they had twins, a girl and a boy, and both survived into adulthood.

It's clear that Trump was doing something dodgy. Attempts at comparison of Trump's massive cache to Pence or Biden inadvertently keeping a few odd files after leaving the vice presidency is like comparing somebody not paying a parking meter with a serial carjacker.

It's funny because I don't think Daniel really registers to Lestat all that much—Lestat references him by name a couple times altogether after QotD, and that's in relation to Marius and only in PL?

I get the sense he's basically an NPC to Lestat, RIP. (Which is A Choice, because I did see a throwaway line in one of Anne's diaries that said she wanted to do more with Daniel around the time she was writing the new trilogy and she just... did not. 😦). Daniel is such a curious and inquisitive guy too, I don't think he ever loses that desire to know people and know what's going on.

I want him chatting up Barbara and Cyril (Thorne, Daniel already knows, and just consider how much he can find out by being buddies with one of the Prince's bodyguards). Ok so Graduation (1999) has different endings depending on how much affection you've gained with whichever guy you decide to write a love letter to in the end of the game. The endings are very short with a bit of text and then a cg. And. First time I beat the game I got what I assume to be a moderate amount of affection. It's kind of a rng dating sim so I just date whoever i get the most affection with during the first week. First time it was a freshman and for his ending I just got an image of him standing happily. Now, I got some insane luck and kept meeting the same character over and over again and gaining affection with each interaction and acing our dates. That was the teacher character. Do you guys want to see his ending.

Which, ok, yeah. I don't like this at all but I get teacher/student relationships are a fantasy many enjoy and it's important for people to have a safe space to explore the things they like they wouldn't do irl and besides it's soo normal for ppl to have crushes on their teachers so whatever. I don't have to make the things i don't like into moral problems. Anyways. The cg. I did an exceptional job with the teacher's affection. He wasn't just standing there smiling.

The game has been fairly innocent up to this point, with your special reward for acing a date being – teehee seeing your date shirtless bc you went swimming together! Like that and this was the raunchiest it got.

I get to the end of the confession scene and get full (pixelated) cock.

So I would rate this game 10/10 for authentic 90's gaming experience. They just don't give you sexy pixels for doing exceptionally well in video games like they used to.

I think it's extremely important that we all keep in mind that this is involving a company and an employee and that there are tons of legal hoops they need to jump through before they reach any conclusions and definitely before they let us know what's happening. Legally they cannot tell us pretty much anything at this point.

I'm also pretty disappointed in people who have been excessively harassing other members. As far as we know this only involves one person and punishing the rest of them for it is not it. I know Carley said that they've been sweeping things under the rug. Personally I don't think that is true, I think it comes down to legal differences in the UK and US.

We know that the person in question has been out on disciplinary leave and that an investigation is happening and at this point in time that tells me that NRB and WT as a company are taking the correct steps in this situation.

Although I am extremely disheartened and upset with the situation we have to try to not get too parasocial about it and recognise that these are real people that we don't know dealing with a legal matter internally in a company.

Personally how I move forward with my support will be decided when we see how they deal with the situation if/when he's found guilty. Until then I personally chose to continue supporting them, [redacted] excluded. But I also completely understand if someone wouldn't be able to support them anymore.

Sorry that this is a long message. I just needed to get my thoughts out somewhere. I know one of the, less involved, crew members of NRB, and it really does seem like they're doing what they can and trying their best to handle this extremely difficult situation.

Also none of this is directed at you personally, more at the fans as a whole.

and i totally agree on the legal process aspect - someone from my old job got fired and it took like 3ish months for it to be official and none of us were supposed to know about why (we all did but thats mcdonalds babey). but yeah its a long process and the last thing they want is to get sued so while i do absolutely wish they could say more they almost definitely are already saying the absolute most.

the statement has definitely helped me feel like its not being swept under the rug, i was really uncomfy with the lack of any acknowledgment so the statement has helped.

+ agree, harrassing the other cast members just isnt going to help and while im sure a lot of the people who have contributed to that have good intentions + are just upset, it is important to remember that they are people not products.
