don’t want to bother u but i did want to ask after my child the lesbian macdennis fic… is she alive? i understand if she’s dead but is she alive

alex <3 lesbian macdennis fic is still very much alive - so alive, in fact, that there are about seven different versions of her on my hard drive! she's uncontrollable! she can't be tamed! who knows if/when/what version will be finished but i do dearly want her to be. maybe when s15 comes out and there's a little more energy, y'know.

Dennis goes stock still, shutting up so abruptly that the silence feels like a slap.

‘You cut your hair?’ she says, disbelieving. She dumps her bags on the kitchen floor, presumably for dramatic effect. ‘You cut your hair without asking me first?’

Charlie snort-laughs, turning away to cover his mouth with his hand.

‘It’s my hair,’ Mac says, trying to roll her eyes. She resists the urge to run her hand over her head again. It settles something in her chest just to remember how it feels, soft and fuzzy on her fingers.

‘But you cut it,’ Dennis says again. Her eyes keep flicking between Mac’s hair and her eyes; her chest is starting to heave like it does when she gets upset. ‘Your hair, it's – it’s so –’

She stops herself there, visibly drawing in a huge breath. Mac squirms in her chair. Maybe she should have – no. Dennis was out doing – whatever, doing whatever. Mac gets to do what she wants, right? She can be whoever she wants. That was the deal.

‘I don’t know, I just,’ she starts defensively. ‘I wanted –’ No.

Dennis – refocuses on her face, somehow. Like, she was already looking at Mac, but she was staring at the top of her head – her hair, her absence of hair – and now she’s dropped down, focusing on Mac’s eyes.

Mac clenches her hands on the sides of the chair, struggling not to blink. Dennis likes her in dresses. She pretends she doesn’t give a shit but she thrusts them at Mac when they’re out shopping, picking out what’d look best on her figure. She always bitches about the shape of Mac’s calves; well if you’d come running with me, Den –

The warmth of her hand on the inside of Mac’s thigh last Thursday, pinching the skin. The air had felt so liquid, like it could drown her just from breathing. Dennis laughing when Mac swatted her, stumbling away across the sidewalk on her stiletto heels. Sometimes Mac hates her so much she can’t breathe.

Dennis suddenly erupts in a flurry of movement, shiny hair and nails – she walks over briskly and tilts Mac’s chin up with one hand, studying her face. She moves Mac’s head this way and that, eyes narrowing.

‘Your eyes,’ she murmurs. ‘They look even bigger. How did you do that?’

15. ive never really had a good answer to this question so im just gonna talk about the first few dates i had with @gaymersrights bc they were all so fucking iconic ok so the first one was a cute ice cream date, the one after that we saw cats (2019) in theaters and spent the whole time existentially horrified, the third one we went to mellow mushroom and she fucking lost a tooth and didnt tell me about it until months later which i still laugh about every time i think about it. so id consider all of those very ideal

1. favorite characters?

i think this is basically a tie between catra and adora. i think i find them both v relatable (and hot *insert im so very sorry emoji*) and i project onto them a lot. its the whole ‘abused by a parental figure’ thing. like w adora its the whole ‘ur the golden child! have fun feeling crushed by such expectations that you can never actually live up to and feeling like your only worth is the value you have to others’ AND her adhd which i admit i didn’t notice right away bc adora can come off p type a (and i think she is type a? huh. i’m not sure i really know what type a means) but damn. this girl got adhd. she got adhd levels of stupid and thats very sexy. love that. and also catra i just. relate so strongly to her abandonment issues and her destructive tendencies and being told ur worthless n not good enough but also secretly seeking validation and acceptance from people who have hurt u :( 

but also i am just in love with them. have u ever seen adora be stupid. she is so funny. remember when she said everything so weird in 2x07. aimee carrero deserves all the awards. u ever heard adora laugh? u ever heard CATRA laugh? and talk? and say cool shit? oh my god 

also i really fucking love bow my dudes. the second i laid eyes on him i said i will love you like crazy forever. i don’t project onto him the way i do onto catra and adora but god damn he is the absolute best. he’s never done anything wrong in his life. i would trade my left pussy to be his friend. his friendship with adora is perhaps one of the best things on this show. i love how endlessly supportive he is of her. he will always be rooting for her and cheering her on when she’s crushing losers (sorry sea hawk i love u too and apparently ur asian so i love you more now than when i thought u were white) in arm wrestling. also the way bow just thinks catra is super cute absolutely adorable absolute baby who once tried to kill him several times <3 chef kiss 

i will stop here now because i have said too much but i guess i just listed my top three w a tied first place 

21. favorite catradora moment?

oh dude. this is like a fifty way tie. like every time these two bitches are on screen together the tension is palpable, love is in the air. yes we get it you two have been in love with each other ur entire lives. way to ruin it for the rest of us. some of my favorites include the lap sitting scene, the entirety of princess prom, every time they would run away from everyone else to fight in secret (gotta keep it hush hush!), every time there was a flashback scene where they were childhood best friends who were in love, every time we hear catra say ‘hey adora ;)’, that one time adora looked into a camera bot, KNEW catra was watching her somehow, said ‘hey catra ;)’ and then broke the camera, and every time she says ‘CATRA >:(’ and,,,, when catra jumped into fire for adora, when they pushed their beds close together and catra left so adora woke up almost immediately and ran after her, when adora woke up from a nightmare saw catra curled up in bed at her feet bc they weren’t dating then (and catra was supposed to sleep in the bunk bed on top of adora but she didn’t) and adora relaxed and smiled, when adora told catra I NEVER HATED YOU, when adora loved catra so much she transformed into she ra and beat up an army, when catra watched her transform and thirsted so hard, when.... fuck it, the entirety of s5, the entirety of heart part 1 and part 2 and just,,, bro. im so tired and they are living rent free in my head 

31. favorite she-ra fics? 

i am secretly writing my own she-ra one shot so i have not read everything :( i have read a few tho. i tend to filter fics according to kudos. i won’t rec anything right now but since we know that noelle has uh..... allegedly written this fic (its number one in terms of kudos in the tag lmaoooo) i would like to recommend it because it genuinely really is good. honestly it should be the first fic any new fans of she-ra should read, to get the ball rolling!

wait did glenn actually ever explain why he stopped writing for sunny?

i think he talked about it briefly in a few interviews, so not like fully explained but what I gathered was that he didn’t feel like he could bring to the table as much as rcm so he let them take over? apparently he still looks at every script at the end and helps make corrections so that’s good at least. but I think he also wanted to focus on other projects? I don’t even remember seeing him in the editing room in s14 so idk glenn’s just doing his own thing he’s gotta be mysterious like that! but he def should write again bc looking at how he directs, dude’s got some Big Gay Ideas

it's literally SO unnecessary and insane like the way they set up that asking what someone wants to do on their last night on earth is dean's pickup line and then less than a full season later they have him say it to cas 😭😭 not to mention the scene 10 mins later where he and anna kiss while cas stares at them like 😟😔
