Trying to do anything with the Gerudo when writing fan fiction is fucking painful. The Gerudo are literally the final boss of stereotypes. We got middle eastern stereotypes, Romani stereotypes, sprinkles of Native American and Jewish stereotypes for some reason and these are just the problems outside of the new misandry that was added in TOTK. Like babes, we are truly fucked. I’m over here trying to figure out which culture to drawn inspiration from, all while desperately dodging stereotype bullets like I’m in the matrix, all while Nintenhoe keeps adding random shit that I have to decipher.
