the more i think on it the more certain i am that i didn’t necessarily dislike the ending. yea the episode itself was a little rushed and frankly unfulfilling but that do be the mcu’s way babeyy. however i think that it was one of the most poignant and just ways to wrap up the character (if that’s actually it for him) after 12 years of mercurial existence, unclear motives, and a blatant lack of resolute sense of self. out of every conceivable and practical outcome, it certainly wasn’t the worst, and it read as almost poetic.

that being said, it still feels a little unfair— particularly as the continual focus throughout seasons one AND two was Loki’s fear of being alone, after a lifetime of feeling as if he had no place

VERY IMPORTANT a dam in the Netherlands, the weerdsluis lock, is directly on a migratory path for spawning fish. They have a worker stationed there to open the door for the fish, but they can take a while to open it. So to keep the fish from getting preyed on by birds they installed a doorbell. Only, the fish don't have hands to ring the doorbell. If you go to their website, they have a LIVE CAMERA AND A DOORBELL that YOU RING FOR THE FISH when they're waiting, and then the dam worker opens the door for them! I can't express how obsessed I am with this. look at this shit. oh my god.

Please check on the fish doorbell once in a while :)

I could think of no better way to share the news than this!

So when I was 17, my cat went missing and I'd given up hope of ever seeing him again.

Until on Monday, 27th of May, 2024, my friend sent me a FB post asking 'isn't that your mother?' about the person named on the microchip.

Here he is! 16 years old, and found safe, twelve whole years after he went missing!

Yesterday (Tuesday the 28th of May, 2024) I went to the rescue that had him, and I reclaimed my boy, renaming him Artie! (He'd originally been called 'Cat' because my mother and I couldn't decide on a name)

He's home safe with me now, currently inhabiting my bathroom and purring up a storm every time someone goes in there!

I'll be doing slow introductions between him and my current cat to give them the best possible chance of living in harmony!
