- in order of tallest to shortest its jay, gillion, then chip, and i absolutely have my reasons - gillion’s shorter then jay because i need him to be able to tuck his chin under jay when they hug because he deserves that - and chip is the shortest because i think it’s funny and i think he’d be really bitter about it

- chips got adhd and gillions got audhd - ive said those two before but i must repeat them bc they are very dear to me - gillions is obvious bc like,,, come on - but chip i really dont have reasoning for except i feel it in my neurodivergent bones

- theyre all trans - need i say more - chip is a trans man and jay is trans woman - and gillion is enby and collects xenogenders and neopronouns like a crow collecting shinies - like innitially gillion wouldnt know alot about gender bc hes an extremely sheltered child - but if he ever gets taught about gender he would collect so many like water themed xenos - this idea absoutely goes to tumblr user @spacedustmantis because their wisdom must be shared with the world

i love this calendar illustration first of all bc theyre super cute with their little braids but also bc its rather romantic in nature, somehow implying one of the following options

good end rei had a gender revival and hopefully stopped defining masculinity by how powerful and violent she can be

bad end rei just kinda woke up after a few months and went “what the fuck am i doing” and now theyre chilling with his blood money (not ideal but good for them)

its not romantic at all actually and theyre just healthy cuddly besties on a picnic

my eternal struggle is i love rei and while i think him exploring gender is good and not a bad thing at all, it never truly felt “resolved” and like she was really DONE exploring it in the game. doesnt help that she straight up doesnt get more masc at all if she doesnt start anything with towa.

and also it felt like he was just crumbling under the pressure of life and his two jobs and the huge debt and was yearning really hard for love and towa just happened to be there and okay with that. MAN.... the friendship/family situation rei and towa (and taku) have is so so precious to me but it feels like towa just isnt into her at all. girlie, please find a devoted boyfriend who will fetch the stars from the sky for you, god knows you deserve nothing less.

also i will die on the hill that this didnt feel like a truly convincing conclusion to her gender and someone needs to sit rei down and go. babe you can be genderfluid and a straight girl and gay guy at the same time. no one minds and everyone loves you. 10 Anti LO Asks

1. Are death gods like a class lower than Olympian gods? Minthe says that Hades can buy all the suits in the world and still stink of death and Apollo refers to Thanatos as Poor Man’s Heremes and also reeks of death. Do they smell bad, or do people just hate them for existing? You’d think they’d be a little more fear controlling death/underworld

2. for the person saying "come on, persephone being a self insert isn't bad" completely misses the point.  As a young writer I used to have self inserts until I realized that my favoritism overshadowed the narrative and didn't allow for my characters to experience consequences or be in the wrong.  This is how creator's pets get made, and no one likes those because they ruin the story and take away attention from other (more interesting) characters!  (1/2) 

We are clearly seeing this in LO.  Persephone is essentially a perfect little goddess who keeps getting powers, is probably going to be revealed as one of the strongest goddesses, and her issues (sans the two giant ones we know what it is) almost never personally affect her.  No one gets angry at her in a meaningful way unless the narrative wants us to demonize them, and when they suddenly "see the light" and go to her side, they're rewarded!  THAT'S why persephone as a S.I is bad

3. Ok. I think Daphene and Thanatos are the best ship. I would read this story...also,Thanatos is the grim reaper...how metal would be if he take down LO Apollo and LO Hades? Yes, I'm aware this would be impossible in the.original myths but HEY why not? RS is not caring for the source material

4. RS’s writing is such a mess of contradictions between actuality and intent it’s hilarious: 1) Hades is supposed to be seen as a good guy yet is portrayed as a tyrant who somehow still manages to be a Gary Stu. 2) Persephone is simultaneously overpowered (fertility goddess powers) and powerless (is just a college kid) to the point where she’s viewed as a spoiled rich brat living consequence-free and destitute young woman left with no options but to marry to get out of trouble 

3) Artemis is supposed to represent a separatist feminist yet is depicted as foolish, British and out of the loop for humorous effect by the poss poor excuse of a comic which calls itself ‘a feminist feeling’. 4) The lack of time skips coupled with RS’s need to give HxP as many ‘cute’ moments as possible makes the comic’s progress feel slow for the reader when it’s actually progressing at breakneck speed if you go by the character’s timeframe. 

5) Wants to treat SA with nuance and sensitivity (RS almost manages to do it at first) but then uses Persephone’s rape as trauma porn, a means for pushing her closer to Hades while reminding the reader of his differences from Apollo and a means of furthering the side plots (Artemis’s descent into depressed confusion, Eros and Psyche’s romance, Hera’s quest to get the mains together).

5. i genuinely do not want to see whatever reason rachel thinks up to have zeus and demeter not like each other because it's either going to be a "shock" incest twist (unlikely) or it's going to be something akin to how she made apollo to persephone and maybe zeus stole her "fertility" and thats why she couldnt have persephone naturally and why demeter isnt a fertility goddess but persephone is. like no writing choice is good in this so i guess brace for the worst from her in this regard.

6. i honestly get sad looking at old LO art because not only is all the charm gone, but the colors also got way worse. hades used to be this subdued, rich dark blue with icy blue hair while persephone was a nice shade of pastel pink with magenta hair, but now theyre all one shade of neon. there used to be choices put into the art but now its just lazy. like hades looks like a blue highlighter, and persephone like her personality is only one nauseatingly bright shade and thats it 😞

7. i feel like if at least the writing in LO was good the art would excusable, you know what i mean? and the same can be said in reverse, but both are just so bad (or was never good to begin with) that it just seems inexcusable? like at least put effort into one, not half assing at best for both.

8. i mean for all we know bc thats how how psyche normally looks the braids are just a nymph disguise that basically pops away once shes human looking again. regardless the whole thing is nasty once you think about it and idk what we expected from a white woman to begin with. she thinks persephone revolving her whole world and being dependent on hades is feminist and making a canon bi god a r//pist is groundbreaking too like ....

9. lets add to the psyche is black-coded discourse: anyone want to mention how nasty it is she was literally sold off to a WHITE MAN for eros to save her from (ignoring the fact he proceeded to lie to her while having a sexual relationship), made her loving parents into abusive assholes, and psyche just happens to be the only character who is illiterate despite being a princess? the whole thing reeks of internalized racism on rachel's part, and her now giving her braids kinda makes it worse, tbh.

okay in your defense, oikawa was having a panic attack and he begged you not to tell iwa because he didnt want to be scolded by iwa even though you kept telling him that iwa wasnt like that

and theres a reason as to why its only been a one-time thing because iwa was known to have patience that was as long as the damn nile river

except for oikawa bc it seems oikawa just cuts that patience by a million

and when he finally snaps, its when he couldnt take it anymore and he finally gets loose

when iwaizumi hajime was angry,  you really done it

you didnt really know how you handled that anger so you were at a loss and you were feeling conflicted and pained at the way he looked at you

even when you guys graduated middle school, you both were still quite happy and you both worked hard to make time for each other

HOWEVER

when high school arrived, you both had chosen an extremely hard decision

you chose to go to karasuno while oikawa and iwa went to seijoh

which was a,,,, hard and difficult decision

in fact, you both didnt have a fight per se, just a disagreement that ended in like 30 minutes lmao

tbh its so scary and concerning of how rarely you both have bad times and how quickly it gets resolved

BUT THEN AGAIN THIS IS AN ANGST REQUEST SO ILL OF COURSE BRING IN THE SADNESS

you were busy with karasuno and you were actually taking college courses since you wanted to have a good record if you ever wanted to get into a medical field

that meant you had a lot of homework and most of your time was spent with schoolwork or interning for that family friend mentioned earlier

and you were also a manager for the volleyball team bc karasuno is a butt and they require you to have an after school club

so that meant,,,

no time for iwa

and fate just so happens to hate you bc the days you did have off, he would be busy with volleyball and he wouldnt be able to spend time with you

even weekends were like that

eventually, you both went for 2 months with no contact, just a few text messages and calls

and that strained your former strong relationship

and you knew that iwa was getting angry again with how he even typed his responses

‘want me to bring over snacks for the team?’

you were getting increasingly worried because you havent had a good proper time to talk to him about it and you didnt want to fight over the phone

this ones really random but i have this headcanon that all the soldiers have like scars/calloused impressions where the odm gear straps run across their chests n legs. and also that they all have really calloused hands bc of the sword handles and how much they use them

i’d like to think that armin and mikasa’s friendship deepened even more after eren left them, just mutually supporting each other because they’re really the only ones who know how the other is feeling. i think that mikasa could just go up to armin and just have that look in her eyes and he’d understand immediately, just holding her as she cries and never needing to ask any questions, since he just knows how she feels

hitch and armin are such an underrrated brotp man. i can just imagine them having this super cute dynamic as theyre keeping annie company and talking to her. hitch would just tease armin so much about his feelings for annie and initially, armin would be all protesting, but eventually he would just stop denying anything because he knows hitch can see through it all. i can imagine armin telling annie about some mission they went on and hitch would just pipe in occasionally with some sarcastic remark

i think that especially during training days with the 104th eren and mikasa would have this special bond that’s only between them. even though outwardly eren seems to resist mikasa’s motherly tendencies, deep down he really does care about her because at the core of their relationship, she’s his sister and best friend. like armin is the one he can talk to about his dreams of killing titans and going to the outside world, but mikasa is just the person he can fall back upon to just talk about random stuff, without any judgement. i think that they’re so comfortable with each other on a fundamental level that they just share these casual touches, like leaning on each other’s shoulders, tapping on their limbs during a conversation, and casually wrapping each other in hugs when they’re comfortable and sleepy. i can see them together one lazy afternoon after a hard day of training and eren is sitting behind mikasa, trying to braid her hair (he can’t do it for shit, but mikasa doesn’t mind) while telling her some story about something stupid jean did in their dorm, and she’s just sitting and listening to him ramble, smiling softly, content

historia and ymir would totally get it on at night in the dorms, and the other girls would just be trying to sleep, pillows over their ears, pretending they can’t hear what is obviously badly suppressed moans and giggles

bc i’m aruani trash, i have to talk about them ofc. i think they shared this super quiet, subtle bond during training days that would consist of things like: she was always interested in the random things armin would ramble on about - she would always be listening, even if it was just quietly in the background of the mess hall; he was one of the only people that she smiled at - he made some offhand comment about how she reminded him of some flowers, and instead of getting his ass kicked like he expected when he realised what he said, she just blushed and smiled softly in the cutest way ever (and that’s how armin knew he was fucked); and finally, during hand to hand when armin got paired up with her on occasion, she wouldn’t hold back on him and would kick his butt ofc, but instead of standing around bored like she normally did when her opponents struggled to get up, she would offer her hand to help him up, and once, she even brushed some dirt off his shirt (armin blushed so hard you’d think he was a tomato and she couldn’t look him in the eye for the rest of the day)

HI I FORGTO TO POST THIS UM ANWA S i am thinking about the besties (six mono rk and rcg obviously) and i wanted to write down a little. a little thing abt their relationships idk what to call this i am just thinking (this is all my personal thoughts btw u dont have to agree with anything i say but feel free 2 give some of ur own input :] )

OK SO this is sort of long(?) so haha 

starting with six; six’s closest buddy is (obviously) mono; they’re basically inseperable and may as well be attached at the side at this point. if you see one and not the other then Run because the other is behind you probably /j because six has never felt as though she has a safe space, she often considers mono her home, whether she realises it or not, and mono feels a similar way they go to each other for help and can communicate sometimes without words, theyre both happy to tolerate each other and theres clearly a bond between them you could see from a mile away. they rarely get seriously upset with each other and when they do they find a comfortable way to work it out. six would probably kill for mono, and he’d gladly die for her in return, even when none of them outright admit it. mono is one of the only people six actually talks to, and the only person allowed to touch her. on top of just being great friends that do truly care for each other in their own ways, they’re also an amazing duo that are great alone but are close to unstoppable together; they both have their own strengths that almost perfectly balance each other out, even when their differences sometimes get in the way, and theres really no situation they cant get out of as a team

next in line is rcg (i will refer 2 her as sandy to make this easier and because i think that is a cute name for her); sandy is like six’s older sister (tbh she is everyones older sister) and theyre both on pretty good terms with each other, shes pretty comfortable with sandy and trusts her a decent amount, if mono isnt around six wont hesitate to come to sandy for help and sandy will happily oblige :] six doesnt say it much but she appreciates that sandy is there to help and puts up with sixs sometimes unruly behavior and overall shenanigans, while sandys glad she can be a sort of guardian figure for six (and most of the other kids) and she finds the trust that the two of them are carefully forming is a great reward (six let her braid parts of her hair once and sandy was so honored, it has never happened again but sandy is determined that it will) last but not least is six’s relationship with rk; they don’t get along the best, and it probably would take a while to get them to really interact, and they definitely like to bicker or poke fun at each other from across the room but eventually, overall they tend to really just stay out of each others business. this proves 2 be hard sometimes though as they are kind of now in the same friend group (playable characters gang!!!!! *partying face emoji*) 

despite this theres still quite a few things they can bond over, and theyre both pretty comfortable in the sort of “frenemy” spot. most of the time they really dont mind situations where they have to team up together and just get along for a while, even if they still bully each other throughout  nowwww time for mono!!!!!!!!!!!  right away six is his best friend, like i said before theyre basically the same person except for the fact that theyre sort of total opposites he just adores her, thinks she is the absolute coolest and is always willing to give her his undivided attention. will obviously tell her off when needed but he’s always gentle and patient with her, and is always on her side, and six lets him know in her own way that she appreciates him greatly he loves to drag her into his activities and make sure shes included like i said before hes always patient with her, and makes sure she’s comfortable, for example when he goes to hug her (or just touch her at all) he’ll wait for a sign from her saying its okay; and if she’d rather be left alone he just sits with her and waits, ready for whenever she needs him for basically anything, and six always does the same for him

next is rcg/sandy!!!! like basically everyone else, he sees her sort of as an older sister, and appreciates her helping out with six’s shenanigans and being there for six when he isnt able to, even for a little bit. they actually make a pretty good team as well, and have tons in common. both of them love trying out new things and usually make plans together, and sandys happy to let him talk whenever he wants; whether he’s ranting, infodumping, or just bored and looking to strike up conversation, shes there to chat with!! also he loves her hugs because she always picks him up and spins him around  and again rk!!!! the two of them arent very close but still pretty friendly with each other and always manage to find things to talk about whenever theyre together, mono is always ecstatic to learn more about the nomes and rk happily shares his knowledge mono is also always trying to find ways to bring rk and six closer together, but always respects their boundaries, and rk appreciates it all tons now for sandy/rcg *evilly rubs my paws together*  starting with rk! dead buddies ahaha anyways like ive pointed out multiple times rcg sees the others as siblings, and rk is no exception! the two of them spend tons of time together, playing games usually with their nome friends!! sandy often drags him into doing things with her especially when shes trying out something new shes always happy to be there for him whenever he gets nervous about something (which. kinda happens a lot) and rk is there to comfort her in return when needed they share things with each other a lot, whether its information or physical objects or literally anything, they always feel the need to share it with the other  now six!! sandy is absolutely stoked to have a younger sister and six enjoys having an older sister as well sandy is always there for six whenever she needs something, and is working hard to gain her trust; she always gets excited whenever six wants to do something together, which in turn often makes six feel appreciated   i@dont even know what else to put here she just?? takes care of her very well ! she loves to tease six but always makes sure not to go over the line (kinda applies 2 everyone else aswell) mono!!! sandy adores his attitude and loves chatting with him, theres always something new to talk abt with him! they also have an unspoken “must protect six” code n chat about her a lot (all good things obviously)  even if they dont hang out too much she always has fun hangin out w him or getting together to plan stuff !!  i probably shouldve formatted this better bc ivre kind of already written rks relationship with everyone else but here we go anyways

rk and sandy!! rk is probably closest to her (and the nomes ofc) and just overall spends a lot of time around her, no matter what he’s doing he loves crafts, and sandy is always glad to join in making things, sometimes they make stuff for eachother  they also help out the nomes a lot together!! they make lil shelters/forts for them, sometimes for fun out of pillows and blankets and other times theyre more stable things, or, more often, they help clean out holes in the walls to make them liveable now mono!! rk loves to share his knowledge of the nomes with him, and they bond over other things too; for example both of them are interested in bugs :] actually they both adore most animals and rk is sure to let mono know whenever he finds a cool creature! rk also appreciates that mono tries to help six and rk become a little closer, as usually his schemes are harmless, whether they work or not  aaaand six! like i said before theyre not the best of friends and poke fun at eachother a lot, but when they need to team up they’ll somewhat tolerate each other. as much as he wants to, rk finds it hard to forgive six for yknow. eating him. six refuses to be very open about her side of the story, or atleast parts, which makes it a little harder, but theyre working on it and eventually they can atleast tolerate each other on top of that though, theyre also sort of opposites; rk thinks six is just mean and unruly, meanwhile six thinks rk is too soft and somewhat of a doormat  but again. overall they learn to put up with each other (barely)

- annabeth isnt smarter than leo but neither is leo smarter than annabeth. ive seen a lot of discussions about who is smarter and heres my hot take on it: neither. theyre equally smart, just in different ways. leos a genius mathematically speaking. he has no issues solving math problems meant for people much, much older than him. annabeth on the otherhand, is great at strategies etc. she can make an army of 1000 more powerful than the enemy, even if theyre outnumbered. so in my opinion, both are equally as smart//u cant compare their intelligence, because their talents lie in two different areas.

- while i do agree rick riordan isnt a god and that hes bound to make mistakes,, AND that hes given us a lot of representation,, if the representation offends the people its sposed to represent, then theres a problem. im talking about piper as a poc and wearing feathers in her hair. im not a poc, so i cant speak for them on whether or not its wrong, because i dont know either. HOWEVER, i have seen multiple posts BY pocs talking about how they didnt really like rick’s representation of piper, and thats an issue. pocs have been and are still oppressed and discriminated against by many. as a white cis man, we cant really blame him for not knowing (tho he could have done a research,, asked some pocs,, idk), but by representing pocs in that manner, hes influencing impressionable kids/teens into thinking “oh pocs wear feathers in their hair all the time” etc, which isnt true. the pjo/hoo series is extremely successful, and kids who read the books will probably start forming inaccurate opinions on pocs. the amount of fan art that depicts piper with feathers in her hair dont help either. “but rick said so in the books, so its canon” yeah well rick isnt a god and he can get some things wrong at times. im not saying we should cancel him, im saying we should start educating ourselves and not spread false info like pocs wearing feathers in their hair all the time. also that snake song shit where she sang Summertime was just- yeah. bc heres the thing you can be racist, and still include minorities, but portray them in a racist way. And even then, ignorance isn't a thing to admire. Getting those facts wrong still has a major impact. It continues to perpetuate racist stereotypes.

"'Shoto, you'd probably have catering bring the best cold soba to our wedding, even if its from all the way around the world.'" You stopped to look over at Shoto, you could tell he was genuinely thinking of that idea. "We've actually had this talk, im not sure what he's going to do, but i found a sticky note that included a giant bowl of cold soba." You said, shaking your head.

"Im doing it." Shoto confirmed. "But why..?" You asked him. "Why not?" He asked in response. "Then I'm getting a giant f/f." You told him. He gave you a short shrug, silently compromising.

"'Yeah, but you'd probably let me.'" Shoto smiled at how accurate the story was. "'Whatever. By the way, your favorite China shop is open, how about we go get you another soba bowl?' Y/n suggested, propping her head up on her palms." You read aloud, feeling a tap on your shoulder.

LIKE this was their style and sound of music i believe in the beginning and its nice to hear it again in a new way!!!! its fun and the instrumental even after listening to it so many times im still dancing along with it!!!!!!! i slept late as hell (bc yknow i had to watch this mv) and had to wake up hella early but I AM PUMPED FOR THE REST OF MY DAY!!!!! i mean like no which also barely hits three (3) minutes but im sure just like with no im not gonna mind that duration

Sord and shield probably give off the same vibe bc theyre both in Europe and are the first pokemon games for their respective systems

the second part is an interesting correlation actually come to think of it, my fave gens are all the second on their respective consoles - 2nd, 5th, 7th (technically you could quibble about gameboy vs. gameboy color on 1st/2nd but gbc was functionally mostly the same just with color and gold/silver were gameboy compatible anyway, just optimized for gbc) and all the gens i like the least - 1st*, 3rd, 6th - were all the first games on their systems. and the only one i particularly like that was first on its system was 4th, but it kind of felt like a follow up to gen 3 anyway despite not being on the same system? to me anyway. huh.

not that it necessarily means anything since correlation =/= causation, but that does mean it makes more sense why i’m skeptical of pokemon games on new systems

*don’t get me wrong i loved gen 1 when it came out but it so has not aged well

i think the legendaries look kinda stupid but the sheep won me over

the legendaries absolutely look stupid and i haven’t decided if i think they’re endearingly stupid or not

tbh a big part of the problem i’ve been having is so far really none of the new designs have grabbed me. even wooloo unfortunately - the fanart won me over but my initial reaction was kinda just “oh, a sheep. we already have mareep though.” and it’s not like we’re not allowed to have multiple pokemon based on the same animal, i don’t have a problem with that, but nothing about its design stood out that much - it’s just kind of a sheep? which is fine. a normal type sheep. with gray braid things that i actually kind of hate. it’s cute but doesn’t really do anything interesting with the idea of a sheep, but also i can’t hate it because it’s a sheep and sheep are fantastic

idk. i just...feel bad because i wish i was more excited, but i’m not :(
